Speaker 1 (00:00):
He loves me.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
He loves me not only one way to find out.
War of the Roses, I'm kd w B.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
This is a new one, you guys on how you
caught somebody cheating. We've heard everything from you know, ear
rings in the bed, to lipstick on the collar, to
the passenger seat is in the wrong position, to mysterious
phone calls. Didn't somebody come beating on his door in
the middle of the night.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yeah, she drove, like from Indiana or something. What was
that about? Do you remember?

Speaker 1 (00:32):
It was like his ex and she wasn't over him
and didn't want him to be with a new person
or something like that, And so she drove in the
middle of the night and came knocking on the.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Door and his new girlfriend was there, Like, who the
hell's this?

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Okay, what were the roses?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Do you remember growing up inappropriately Bailey listening to kterbdb
wore the roses?

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Which one stands out? Well, everybody always talks.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
About taking your kids to school, so that's probably the
one that stands out, okay to me?

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yeah, Well we.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Got one that we've never had this theme before, and
it involves well, I'm gonna go ahead and let you
hear the story from the woman who's calling in. Danielle,
tell me what's going on with Jackson and why you
think that he's nearly almost positively seen somebody else.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
What's up, Danielle.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
Okay, So, basically, my boyfriend plays basketball.

Speaker 6 (01:22):
He plays basketball with his friends, and.

Speaker 5 (01:25):
I sometimes I go like watch him play because it's fun.

Speaker 6 (01:30):
And the other day I went down to.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
The court to watch him play, and this time they
did shirts.

Speaker 6 (01:37):
And skins, and he was skins, which he's like, yay,
love that. But he took his shirt off and he
had these like four nailmarks in the middle of his.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Back, like.

Speaker 6 (01:57):
Out to each side, and it just like clearly looks
like a girl had like scratched his back.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Okay, when you say scratch his back, not like as
a favor like Dailey might say, Van, Hey, will you
scratch my back? I haven't itch yet now, Yeah, No,
this is like radiating claw marks from the spine, digging
in like wings like wings, and you see this and
of course you say something, right, Yeah, So.

Speaker 6 (02:28):
When we got home I asked him about it, and
he was like, what are you talking about or something there?
So I like took a picture on my phone and
I showed him and he just goes, He's like, that
must have been Tony, which is his cat. No, like okay,
And I was like what, because, yeah, okay, your cat climbed.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
On your back, and because you have four symmetrical human
looking nail marks on each side of your back, like,
it just was like, really not a cat.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
Like it. But he's I've seen cat.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Don't like that, right exactly.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
So, but he is sticking with the it's the Tony
the cat story and won't admit that it could have
been anything else.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
I mean, once you have a story, you got to
stick to it because then if you waiver, then it
gives you even more suspicion.

Speaker 7 (03:24):
Well, at first he said there was nothing, and then
she showed him the picture and he had to be
like uh uh uh.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Yeah, he's got to come cat fast.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yeah, okay, is there any possibility in hell that it
could be from a cat?

Speaker 1 (03:36):
What did you think that a cat? If a two
paws were scratching it, it'd go like diagonal together.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
The way she's describing it, it's as if the scratches
start in the middle and go outward, like opposite directions.
So a cat is not using its elbows, no outward
in a different direction.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Uh, that's true, But you wouldn't be here.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
I mean, if you knew for sure it was a woman,
you probably wouldn't be here.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
No, I mean he won't admit it, and I don't
know for sure, and I don't like everything else seems fine.
So I don't know.

Speaker 7 (04:13):
Somebody who has seen cat scratches or dog scratches and
somebody who may or may not have had scratches on
their back previously, they are definitely like distinct difference.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Okay, Okay, I can totally see that. Well, here's what
we can do.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
We can call him and see if he wants to
send roses to you or to somebody else, and that
might be a little clue. If he sends them to
you know, somebody else, that might be well, actually a
big clue that the scratches might have come from someone
besides the cat. Tony, Stay there, Danielle, and we'll be
right back.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Okay, got it. Not everyone deserves closure, but we do.
It's sign for part two of Or of the Roses on.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Katie w B, presented by Ovo Lasik and Lens Get
to Ditch the Glasses go get Lasick from the Best
ov Lasik and Land the Best back.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
To War of the Roses.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
We're gonna make the phone call in second, but let
me reset in case you missed it. So she's seeing
a guy they went out to go play basketball, and
he's he's playing with his buddies and she's sitting there
watching and they're doing shirts and skins. So he takes
his shirt off and the'se got scratches like radiating from
the center of his back, like four fingernail scratches on
both sides, and she's like, what is that? He's like,

(05:30):
and so she's like, well, let me take a picture.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
He's like, Tony the Cat.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Tony then that what he said, Tony Cat, Tony the
Cat did that. She's like, I don't believe that for
a second. Let's call him and find out who he
was with on War of the Roses.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
All right, Like I said, that was just going to
be a super quick survey, and as an appreciation, I
want to get a dozen roses sent out to whoever
you'd like. So first thing I need from you is
the name of whoever you want to send them to.

Speaker 6 (06:03):
I guess let's send it to Danielle. Danielle.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Okay, I got that name down. Sounds good.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
I have so many questions for you, though, Jackson. And
if this is going to change up the whole gist
of this phone call, how did you get them scratches
on your back?

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Well, we're all just curious.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
This is actually not the phone company, it's the Dave
Ryan show calling and we got your girlfriend Danielle on
the phone, and she told us the whole story about
the scratches on your back because you're not playing basketball
the other day, remember this. Yeah, So Danielle calls our
radio station. She's like, call my boyfriend Jackson and ask

(06:46):
him who he wants to send flowers to, because I
think that sneaky, sneaky guy might have had somebody over
or hooked up with somebody that scratched his back. But
you said it was you remember this conversation, right, Yeah,
I remember this.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
It was the cat.

Speaker 6 (07:01):
I told her it was the cat.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
I told everyone was the cat, because it was the cat.
Tony the cat, my cat scratch my back.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Okay, now this has gotten so serious now that actually
Danielle is here as a witness to the scratches. Danielle
explained to Jackson, why you don't think those scratches could
have come from Tony the cat?

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Hello, Danielle, she might not be there anymore. Did she
hang up? Hello?

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Okay, Well, now that she's out of the picture, let
me just you know. Her testimony was they look like
woman scratches from the radiating from the spine out to
your rib cage.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Mm hmm. I don't know what to say. Besides the
cat did it?

Speaker 6 (07:57):
I got nothing.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
It was it was my.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Cat, I must while I was sleeping or something.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Hmm, all right, you didn't wake up to the cat scratching.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Good question, Jenny, good question.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
I'm a very heavy sleeper sometimes I'm medicated for my sleep.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
It was the cat.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
I was asleep.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
That's all I have to say.

Speaker 7 (08:17):
That's all.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
Danielle is ever gonna hear from me.

Speaker 7 (08:19):
Jackson sounds like he has an answer for everything.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
Yeah, he sounds like this is a prepared like he was.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
He stood in front of the mirror and rehearsed. He
sounds convincing, though I think he does sound convinced. Well,
you're very gullible.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Well, apparently he didn't convince Danielle because she hung up.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
Danielle one person on my side.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Well that's me Dave.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Yeah, okay, Well, I'm gonna leave it up to people
who listened to the show. And I know you don't
listen to the show, and that's fine you should, but
I'm going to leave it up to people who listened
to the show.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Is he possibly telling the truth?

Speaker 3 (08:51):
No, let me know, send me a text, call me
and let me know whether you think you're very charming
either way.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
So agree, the problem is that he's really terming.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
He's a sociopath. All right, we're done. You can ask
Danielle about Okay, all right, War the Roses wraps up
again on k D Double Ub.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
What do you think? What are your thoughts on War
the Roses.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
I don't think it's a cat stuffing out a cat.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Come on, somebody said it was a It was a
man from basketball. Maybe he got scratched while he was
playing basketball.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, but in that because they're watching him, I think
she saw the scratches.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Could have been earlier in the week, might have been
all right.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
I don't know what kind of basketball you watch, but
I don't see anyone watching basketball scratch on both sides
coming for you.
