He and his English Rose, Rachel, had started an organisation called One Whanau at a Time that was collecting food and household goods to give away to those in need in the Far North.
They had started a Give-a-little to buy goods for struggling families and were overwhelmed by the generosity of our listeners who donated after hearing his story.
