‘Gash’ has been a sports reporter, reader, commentator, fill-in host and all round good guy.
Brian has covered every Olympic Games since Sydney 2000 both on the ground (2000, 2004, 2008) or as a member of our Games commentary team (2012, 2016), this alongside the Commonwealth Games.
He is a proud Cantab and is probably the most successful commentator in radio history seeing both the Crusaders and Canterbury NPC sides win more championship titles than the rest of the country combined!
Alongside covering rugby and the Olympics, Brian has been a champion of multisport covering the Coast-to-Coast, Ironman, cycling plus many other sporting events.
