The following is a paid podcast.iHeartRadio's hosting of this podcast constitutes neither an

is preempted this week by a specialprogram featuring Rabbi David Goldwaser. Welcome.
It is a special privilege for meto be together with our entire listening audience

(00:24):
in the United States, abroad, throughout the entire world. We are here
to talk about the world situation. For the first time in recent years.
Something has happened that has rocked theentire world. Every nation has been affected
by this. You see all typesof people from all different parts of the

(00:49):
globe that have been affected, thathave become very upset and are pouring out
their emotion in support of the Landof Israel. Many have contacted me,
Many have said, how do weunderstand what is going on? Is this
the end of days? Is thisthe coming of Michiaki Messiah? And I

(01:11):
want you to know that it definitelyis not a simple war that is being
held. First of all, Israel. The last thing on Israel's mind is
to have a war. Nobody wantsto have a war. We are a
peaceful nation. We are a nationthat talks about peace. Godl HaShalom,

(01:34):
as it says in Atarrah, godOl HaShalom, great is peace. It
is the greatest entity. When wepray, when we doven this schmone estray
a silent prayer of eighteen blessings. We ask for many things, many blessings.
The very last one is shalem peace. The commentary say, you can

(01:55):
have everything in the world, butif you don't have peace, you don't
have anything. And so against thatbackdrop, we have some time together,
precious time to talk about the worldevents, what has happened, and exactly
what this war means to the Stateof Israel, to the Jewish people,

(02:17):
and to our brothers and sisters inthe world at large. First, we
know that it is not a simplewar. When something happens in cloud Yu's
soil, in the Jewish nation,we say ace Sarah Liakov. It comes
from the Novi, it comes fromthe prophets. It is a time of

(02:38):
distress. It is a time oftrouble for Yako, for Jacob, the
maforshim. The commentaries ask the question, why Jacob, Why not Yitzak,
Why not Avraham? Why Jacob? The answer is it is because it was
Yakov, the forefather, Jacob thatwas at night by the sorrow Shalesov,

(03:02):
by the power of evil, andYakov Avino was struggling the entire night,
fighting arm in arm, fighting againstthe forces of evil. It wasn't that
time that they fought through the entirenight. Finally, after sustaining an injury

(03:22):
that would continue with him for therest of his life, Yakov Jacob won
over the force of evil that wasgoodness, holiness, purity against evil,
tumor impurity. Finally the forces ofgood went out. That's why we say

(03:45):
it's a time of sorrow of distressfor Jacob. What we are dealing with
now is none other than a fightof holiness, of goodness, of all
that is pure, against evil, against impurity, against all that is bad.
We see this by what has happened. From the very beginning, there

(04:08):
was a party. People were celebrating, not bothering anybody in this world.
We need to celebrate, we needto be happy. That ended quickly when
the terrorists came and did the unthinkable, the unspeakable, to rain rockets and

(04:29):
missiles and guns and fire in grenadesand take people out who are celebrating old
people and young people, grandmothers andgrandfathers and babies. Who does that?
It's the power of evil. Anynormal person could never resort to that.
War Fine, fight soldiers, uniformedsoldiers, fight soldiers that have guns,

(04:54):
machine guns. What are you fightingbabies for? Is that great? To
fight the baby? The children, the children that are respected through the entire
world. Crimes against humanity. Wedidn't even begin to discuss crimes against humanity.
It's unthinkable, horror, it's onlyhorror. There is no normalcy.

(05:15):
Anybody that will say that the terroristsand who they represent have any normalcy,
are fighting for their rights, orfighting for their country or whatever. Nobody
can make a mistake at this point, No rational, no civilized human being,
no civilized nation, will ever saywhat is happening is okay? It

(05:40):
is very not okay. I wouldlike to say that we have witnessed different
acts over the past few days thathave been incredible. We have seen heinous
acts. We have seen acts thatare treacherous, that are despicable, that
are dev that are destruction, Andon the other hand, we see acts

(06:03):
that are so great, are sobeautiful. And I would like to discuss
just a few of them. Firstof all, we are a nation,
and the Jewish nation is called bythree beautiful terms by shun Him. We
are a bashful nation. We area humble nation rachmanim. We have mercy

(06:25):
gom le hasadim, people that willdo favors, that will be generous,
that will be stow kindness to others. I had a great doctor together with
me this past Shabas, this pastweekend, doctor Reichmann, doctor Dove Reichmann,
and he told me, in thehospitals they are treating the terrorists.

(06:47):
In the hospitals, they are broughtin the terrorists that went and aim their
gun and aimed their swords and theirbayonets and whatever else they have. And
what does Israel do. It treatsthem medically on the highest level, on
the highest level that medicine has tooffer today. So you see a great

(07:10):
difference in what is going on.First of all, the tremendous loving kindness
of the Jewish nation, loving kindnessfor everybody, not only for our own
so to speak, but for theentire world. Hashem said, be a
light unto the nations. That isour job, and that light has to

(07:31):
spread love. It has to spreadgenerosity. Who do we see coming to
the aid of earthquake victims? Whodo we see coming in when there is
a group that has been lost insidethe caves? Who do we see The
little nation of Israel sends their expertsfirst and foremost to help out wherever there

(07:54):
is need for assistance throughout the entireworld. So what did they do the
Israeli nation? They got together everybodythey send to the people going into war,
to the soldiers, food and drinkand all kinds of materials, phones,
electronics and protective clothing. They heardin California, in California, in

(08:20):
Los Angeles that there was a troopthat they like a certain energy drink.
I don't know which one it is. So what did they do. They
went and bought hundreds and hundreds ofcases of that energy drink. Believe me,
in Israel they do have drinks, but they have the energy drinks and
they sent them immediately special to thetroops in Israel. That's what you're talking

(08:45):
about when you talk about brotherhood inlove and peace. And then you have
the people in Israel who have mobilizedto help the troops to pray. One
of the greatest things that have interms of a secret weapon. Is our
prayer, is our tela. Peopleall over the world praying. People have

(09:07):
stopped their regular day in the middleof the day in the office, in
the middle of the day in thehospital. Lawyers in the middle stop and
they are all part of prayer, communal prayer tela. How important it is?
That is something that beneysra El thatthe Jewish community does. What else

(09:28):
I would like to tell you? There was a wedding that was held on
a military base. A military base, a cousin in kala, a bride
in a groom. Where do youever see a nation readying for war going
in but yet they have a wedding. A soldier who's going into war gets
married to his colla to his brideon the base, and all of the

(09:54):
soldiers dance and sing in our Misamehacolumn caused the bride and groom to rejoice.
Tell me where do you find that? Where do you see that?
Where do you see people welcoming inthe sabbath? It was Friday night.
The soldiers are away from their families. Believe me, each one a wife

(10:16):
and children, a parent, andtheir table is made at home. But
they are missing. They're not sittingthere. What did they do? They
gathered in the bases, They madeFriday night prayer, they made philah on
Leil Shabbat. It's unbelievable. Soldierssinging and dancing. One soldier had to

(10:39):
keep watch, and he's there. You see him, crouched lying on the
ground. His gun is out fromthe wall. He has to watch to
make sure that they're not under attack. And what's he doing. He's singing
id the amazing, amazing power ofthe soldiers, of the Holy Soldiers of

(11:03):
the Israeli Army. The derek erits, the respect, the dignity in which
they carry themselves is singular. Sothat's what they're doing. And people are
doing acts of great hesset of lovingkindness all over, just so it should
be more merit, just so itshould be excuse for all of the soldiers

(11:28):
and all of the people of IsraelI have family in Eretz Ysrael, and
that family. They are mobilized, all of them to do whatever they possibly
can to help. And the soldierssay, keep up the trilos, keep
up the prayers, keep up thelearning. They tell all of the guys
in Yeshivot and all of the girlsthat are learning all over in batyak Kov

(11:54):
and all the different places. Keepup your learning, keep up your midstos,
do the commandments, because that willgive us the power. What do
we after We're not after war,We're after peace. But there is one
thing when we are struck, andCaster Shulm should never ever happen ever when

(12:16):
we are struck. So there isof course the overriding theory, the philosophy
that we all have, and thatis that we must defend ourselves. We
must defend our land and our security. No matter who rises up against Cloud

(12:37):
ustral against the Jewish people, theyhave a right. Whether everybody agrees,
I frankly don't care who agrees, who disagrees, what the politically right,
what's not, It doesn't matter tome. Somebody is going to be assaulted.
They better stand up for themselves.I never forget. There's a wonderful

(12:58):
family. Kessler and Kessler had adaughter, a daughter, Gilah. She
was in the army. She wasin the army and she gave to everybody.
She played music, She helped outeverybody, She helped out all the
children. They loved her. Shewas a pied piper. She was the

(13:20):
most peaceful person in the world.A terrorist got to her, wiped her
out. There were so many peoplethat wrote in, so many people that
emailed, so many people that cameto express all of their sentiments and their
emotions and their sorrow. They putit into a book. They put it

(13:45):
into a beautiful safer. They wrotein it Divre tora torah thoughts. They
wrote into it many things I gotfrom the parents who are dear friends of
mine, and inscribed copy. Itake a look at this, and I
see that one of the pages says, and it's a headline, Kosha lit

(14:07):
Fos is very difficult to grasp. He ain't nno that she is no longer
with us. Everybody that was killed, snuffed out, annihilated, murdered in
cold blood, Kosha Litfos sehe menanothat they are not with us anymore.

(14:31):
It is very difficult to grasp theenormity of the loss, the gravity of
the loss. It is difficult fora human being to be able to put
together. How do I process theinformation? How do I absorb it?
How do I realize when it happensthat there is an elderly woman that was

(14:52):
taken as a hostage. Wow,that is a show of great strength.
They take an elderly grandmother and unfortunately, I don't want to say it,
she's no longer in the land ofthe living. So what did they do.
They took her picture and put iton the pizza box. Pizza box,

(15:13):
you know when they have like anadvertisement, you take out your pizza.
They put her picture so that everybodycould laugh at the old lady who
was killed. Israel found out aboutit, they gave the pizza shop a
warning, eh Claire out they wentin. Israel bulldozed the pizza shop.

(15:37):
No more pictures, no more boxesleft. Unfortunately, it's all God.
That is what needs to happen whenthere is something on such a low level,
and there isn't anything lower than wherethis has become sunken into we are

(15:58):
talking about in u Maine. Youwant to talk about what happened during the
Second World War when a nation wentberserk, when they committed atrocities that we
are still dealing with. You don'thave to look back to Germany, you
don't have to look back to theNazis. You can look just a few

(16:19):
days, back it up and youcan see what happened. The pictures are
all there and how I'm proud.I was when I went today in the
city in Manhattan, and they're upon the walls. Up on the walls
of Manhattan are pictures of each hostage. They have the hostage, their name,

(16:41):
their age, three years old, five years old, young mother twenty
two years old, young father twentyeight years old, elderly grandmother eighty two
years old, and they have pictures. When you see kidnapped, right away
everybody springs to action. Oh,I have to help. How do I

(17:03):
do it? Maybe I can seethem on the street. But now with
this campaign, when you see kidnapped, you start to do a little bit
deeper thinking. It compels us tostart to think about the world situation and
what do I have, what ismy obligation to do, what is my
responsibility. At a time like this, we learn very interesting when a person

(17:30):
comes to start to think about thisworld situation and how things are today completely
out of hand. I am veryproud that the President of the United States
of America. I am very proudthat he went to visit Israel. Especially
now. It means the world tome because the world should see that one

(17:53):
of the leaders of the greatest civilizednation in the world, one of them
United States of America. Medina Schellhas said, is going to go to
visit Israel. He for sure willsee the truth. He for sure will
be able to see pacts, allthe fake news, the misinformation coming out

(18:15):
every minute. It's an unbelievable thing. Because it says in the Gemara ms
Neddaris, one of the things thatwill happen in Equis Masika, in the
footsteps of the Messiah will be thatthe truth will be absent. To get
to the truth, it is almostimpossible. You have to have such a

(18:36):
pure station. Maybe maybe bottom linedesign could give out the truth if they
will ever decide, if that greatman it's look Sapless, will ever decide
to disseminate information from bottom line designthat you could trust. By the way,
I do want to say that itslook Sapless. He is not only

(19:00):
a brilliant, brilliant innovator, visionaryin businessman, he is a mensch.
He is a person that the worldcan learn from and can look up to
and emulate. So what happens whena person hears things, They have to
be able to get to the truth. The truth is something that everybody needs

(19:23):
to hear I was just this Monday, the Mayor of New York City,
Mayor Adams, called me up tocome to a prayer visual and to speak
on behalf of an Austrial And Iwas very very privileged to be there and
to speak. And the Mayor wasquite quite taken, quite emotional with all

(19:48):
that has happened. He feels thepain. All of a sudden, after
I finished speaking and I went overto the side, a man tapped me
on the shoulder. He said,Rabbi, I'm a mussil. I said,
it's very nice to meet you. It's my honor. He said.

(20:10):
After I listened to your speech,I feel like maybe I should go to
Israel and help them out. MaybeI should join over there. And I
thought to myself, this is unreal. A man like that has the understanding,
as they say, the truth willset you free, has the understanding
of what the world is now andthat we all have to pitch in.

(20:33):
It doesn't matter who the person is, it's all the people from all over
the world. We're all brothers,we're all sisters, we're all connected.
We're all human beings living in thisworld, and we need to make the
world a better place. Fascinating. It says in Yhai yow a Novi and

(20:55):
Isaiah the prophet h te Toujavo tomLee team, they will beat their swords
into plowshiars the hanitote Hemla Maasmero, and they will beat their spears into pruning
hooks, into farming machinery. ThenLoisa goy al Gorjerev, nation will not

(21:18):
lift up sword against nation, willloyomadu old Milhama, and they will no
longer learn the art of war. This is what the prophet gave over to
us, what the nove begged us. That we are a nation that looks
only for peace, and we knowthat in the future there is going to

(21:42):
be peace, as we read inall of the prophetic writings, as we
read in the Novi as it's filledwith all good, beautiful prophecies about the
future. For right now, wehave to realize that we have been thrust
into a war, a war thatis the antithesis, the opposite of our

(22:03):
nature, a war in which aperson has to understand that we at this
moment all have to be on adifferent awareness, awareness of our spiritual selves.
We have to become better, allof us have to become better.
The soldiers are now going in andmarching in on land. In those soldiers,

(22:27):
they need us, They need usto be a part of them.
They need us to be connected tothem, because everything that we do has
an immediate effect on all of thesoldiers and all of the people in Israel.
The Great Rabbi A Vigder Miller ZetaRaja often said that if I do

(22:51):
something right here in New York,it can affect somebody in California, someone
in Australia, someone in London, someone in New Mexico, somebody in Afghanistan,
somebody in Switzerland, somebody in Israel, in the Holy Land. We

(23:11):
have a higher calling now. Whateverwe were two weeks ago, that's wonderful,
But now it's a different world. It requires up to step up to
the plate, to take the challengethat we have at hand, and to
try and work with it. Threethings I would suggest for everybody, all

(23:33):
people. One prayer. Pray PhilaAvrahamovino Abraham prayed, he prayed, He
readied for war, and he prayed. It is extremely important. I have
gotten messages all day for people thatwant to have certain names to be prayed

(23:57):
for. Different people one just leftto the gush, one in training,
another friend needs help, is currentlyin the army, someone that was hit
at the party when the first terroriststruck, and another friend pinches Nachum ben
DeVaro shashana. These are people thatright now are in need of a reful

(24:22):
These are people in need of greathealing, people that are in need of
shmira of security, and it isup to us. It is up to
each one of us to have themin mind and to pray for the welfare.
Our prayers are extremely important. Aperson should ever say, what's my
tela, my yoel tila, what'smy purganna? Help? I know there's

(24:48):
a great rabbi or a great personor another one and maybe their tela.
Well, but me, I'm justa regular guy. I'm a regular lady.
I'm not no big shake nothing,no no, no. Every tela,
every prayer hits its mark, everyprayer is answered. One should never
think that they don't have to pray. Every word of prayer is a direct

(25:12):
discussion with the one above, withHashem, with the bus Scheffer. We
should never underestimate our own power ofprayer. I got a call on the
telephone, phenomenal phenomenal. When itfirst broke out, the individual said,
Rabbi, I want to tell you. I don't do a lot of telos.

(25:34):
I'm not great on prayer. ButI would like to ask you a
question. If I pray, IfI pray, should I pray only for
Israel? Or should I also prayfor myself? Personally? I'm willing to
put everything that I need aside?Should I said, if you could put

(25:56):
your own needs aside personally, guaranteeyou a chem knows what you need.
Hey, you don't have to tellhim about it. He knows. Pray
for Israel, Pray for the soldiers, Pray for all the people, Pray
for the hostages. But the nextquestion I wasn't prepared for. If I
come to you, would you teachme how to pray? Would you teach

(26:22):
me how to doven? Because I'mnot sure I'm doing it the right way,
I thought to myself. A mancalls up. He wants to learn
how to dobin. He wants tolearn how to pray. What is greater
than that? I came across aprayer book that I have Yao kut si,

(26:42):
how beautiful is the prayer book?It has Pilotte. It has prayers
for all situations, has prayers atthe time of Milhama, at the time
of war, to pray for ourpeople though kayaalem. Those soldiers that were

(27:03):
willing to go in a second's notice, they called up the reserves. There
are reserves Israeli troops that are livingin the United States and New York and
California and Arizona and all the goodplaces all over Chicago, Detroit, you
name it. What happened. Theycalled up certain reservists, not everybody was
called. The reservists that were notcalled to go back to Israel to help

(27:30):
in the effort, they called theircommanding officer, Can I come back?
I wasn't called could I come?Who does that? Who offers? Who
volunteers? El mola sakana to gointo the face as they say, Harm's
way. Everybody should be protected. This is something that is amazing what we

(27:52):
can learn from it. We areone nation. Very interesting word. The
word for war is milkhama. Milkhama. The gamatria. The numerical equivalent of
that word is one hundred and twentythree. I'm ahad one nation, beautiful,

(28:18):
same gamatria, one hundred and twentythree. We are one nation.
We band together, we unify,We forget our differences. We put aside
anything that might divide us. Welook for the commonality, for the goodness
in each and every one of us, for the goodness of man worldwide.

(28:41):
We look for that, and weband together and use that power in order
to be able to defeat the powerof evil in this world, because in
truth, that is what we're fighting. Everybody, old, good people understand

(29:02):
the greatness of the land of Israel, the land of our fathers, the
land that is so important to allof us, and many of our brethren,
many of our Christian brethren, manyof all of the different religions that
go to Israel on pilgrimages and areso strong in their support and realize what

(29:26):
Israel means. It is not somethingthat Harasushong, God forbid that you can
go on any moment make a pisharahcompromise on something. There's no compromise on
it. These are holy places, holy for all religions. There is no
tearing down one religious place or compromisingon that religious place. You see it

(29:52):
by those that go. I'll neverforget I had the great privilege to go
to a family, a great occasionof joy. The first days of this
holiday. The last days we knowwhat happened. But the first days of
the holiday, I was brought fora family simha. There were Chinese people,

(30:14):
Chinese people, great, wonderful people, lovely people. What did they
do? They were carrying Israeli flagsand they were singing, i'm yestra el
Chai, the nation of Israel lives, the people of Israel lives. I
stood there, I watched them. They had such heart, they had such

(30:41):
love. They were singing mitten gunsand nefish with their whole being. They
were singing, they feel a partof it. I thought, how beautiful
it is. They realized the preciousness. It was difficult to leave. It
was for me. About a yearago, there's a young couple. They

(31:06):
came back from Israel for a visitand they came to see me. They
wanted to visit me. And whenthey came into the study, they said,
we brought a very special gift foryou. And the woman reve she
said, we have a special specialgift. So I thought, special gift

(31:26):
from Israel. Oh. I startedto think what that gift could be.
They said, a really special gift. Then they gave to me a rock
that came from a very special placein Aritzisroel the tour guide said, I
have one rock. Whoever would likeit could have it, and they ran

(31:51):
over to get it because they knewhow this rock. I appreciate how this
rock something from the holy land is. It's a akiamazius. It's a precious
possession. I leave it on mydesk, and you want to know something,
When I need a little inspiration, there are different times in all of

(32:14):
our lives. Sometimes we're up,sometimes we're not so up. At those
times, at the times when itmight be a little bit dark and I
need a little inspiration, I justtake a look at the stone. It's
a holy stone. What does itrepresent? What does it mean? What
is the meaning? Who went onthis stone? Avrahamovino Kumi salak barits go

(32:38):
and walk the land from the lengthinto the breath. What did this stone
witness over all the years. SoI leave the stone in front of me
on the desk, and when Ineed a little inspiration, I look at
the stone. That is what everyonefeels about the sacred land of Israel.

(33:01):
It is a holy land. Itis a land that every inch has a
story to tell. It is aland that so many people have come back
to their roots. It is aland that hosts the Coosahamaravi, the Western
Wall, and how many people weregoing to the Wall and able to reclaim

(33:24):
their heritage, to go back intotheir roots, to be able to see
where they came from, and toonce again be able to rejoin their people.
This is something that we have tothink about the holiness of the land,
the holiness of the people. Theyare fighting a war for themselves,

(33:51):
for their families, for their nation, for an entire world. So that
the civilized world, when they willwant to go to Israel and they will
want to be able to partake inall that Israel has, that they will
not be afraid, that they willbe secure, that they will be protected.
The Israeli Army protects everybody. Thepolice in Israel, they don't care

(34:15):
who an individual is. They protectthem and Israel. Let us not forget.
I'm not going to speak politically,it is not my interests, it
is not my purpose, but Iwould like to say one thing. Humanitarian
efforts. The channels of escape, the roots of safe passage to other countries,

(34:40):
was closed. Why why is itdo you not accept your own brothers
and sisters? Do you close thegates that people are screaming and running because
it's a time of war. Letus come in, let us re establish
ourselves, let us feel. Whyare all the gates shot? Why all

(35:05):
of a sudden, which nation offeredlet us take them? Which of the
brothers, which of the nations?None? Why? What's wrong? Well,
a couple of the leaders did makethem their views known that I was
very surprised that to say it.To think it may be, to do
it, it's one thing, butto say it straight out, that's a

(35:29):
question. On the other hand, the Holy Land of Israel, who did
they accept, No matter which nationit was, no matter what time in
the world it was, they alwaysaccepted anybody that needed safety, that needed
refuge, that needed a homeland. It didn't matter whether it wasn't the time

(35:49):
in the nineteen forties where people werepouring in from all over. Poor emigrants,
if you're allowed to say the wordimmigrant, poor immigrants. It didn't
have anything. That didn't even haveclothes on their back, whatever threads they
were carrying, didn't have proper shoesto wear, and they came to Israel

(36:12):
and they were taken in, andthey came and rebuilt. Let us not
forget from the ashes, from thegas chambers in Auschwitz, in Treblinka,
and Birkanau, in Buchenwald, inDachau, all over. They marched straight
out of the concentration camps and cameto the Holy Land, and they built,

(36:36):
They built centers. They built centersof Torah. They built centers of
places that people could come for refuge, for food, for clothing, for
understanding. They built homes for theorphans, so there would be a place
for the orphans of war to liveand to have the chance to grow up
semi normal childhood experience in all ofthe orphanages. And then recently how Israel

(37:04):
opened its stores to anybody that wasinterested. Our brothers from Ethiopia. Would
you like to know how many haveimmigrated from Ethiopia and come into Israel and
became a part of the nation anda part of all of us. How
important it is. That's the Dugma, that's the example to the entire world

(37:29):
of what should be done. Youtake in whenever you possibly can. You
do not turn your back on yourbrothers and sisters especially, And we have
a saying, mibsarau tissalem from yourflesh and blood. You don't turn away.
Do we see a difference right now? We see a great difference in

(37:52):
the world. We have a interestingpusuk in yoel yoel. It says the
following, Bennie Casey, though Iforgive, though I cleanse dumbum lonelye Casey,
blood, I don't forgive blood.I will not cleanse when there is

(38:17):
blood, and on those occasions theyshould be non existent anymore. Then we
must take our own security very seriouslyand be no kame the dumb. That
is an important idea. We donot completely forget. Oh, somebody was

(38:40):
killed. If somebody was killed,we have to make sure that there's nobody
else that is ever killed. Ifthere was an old woman that was taken
away as a hostage, we gotto make sure that never again, never
again, is there ever an oldwoman, a young woman, a baby.

(39:00):
Can't even say the words a babyto be taken hostage? Are you
berserk? Is this ridiculous? Isthe world nuts? The sympathizers, the
sympathizers, what are they crazy? And I don't like to talk in that
way. To take a baby totake a baby, to take a baby

(39:22):
away from the bottle, away fromits mother, to put it on the
bus. What do we We're dealingwith civilized people. I don't think an
animal would do it. An animal, a wild animal, wouldn't do it.

(39:42):
I saw the orangutans. I sawa very interesting clip about it,
how they care for their young. In fact, they're very understanding and they
protect and they interact with human beings. Believe it or not. I saw
nursery school of orangutons, the littleguys going into the nursery, and they

(40:07):
are civilized to each other. Ananimal, many cases of dogs protecting their
owners. Dogs and all types ofdifferent animals very protective, and especially children,
they are very protective. Many wonderfulthings have come out in the study

(40:29):
in zoology about the mindset the heartof different animals. And here you have
people, so called people, poorexcuses for people that don't understand the lines
crime against humanity, heinous crimes againsthumanity, heinous crimes against humanity. In

(40:52):
the Torah, it says that anindividual is responsible to be the carrier of
the torch, to bear the torchto show the world what is proper.
You fight against evil if you donot fight against the evil, then what

(41:12):
will happen? It is interesting thatmore Albert Einstein said, more than all
of the torture that has gone on, more than the horrific things that have
gone on. Worse than any ofthat are people that witness it and do
not speak up, silent onlookers. That's worse. You've got to speak up.

(41:38):
You've got to raise your voice. You've got to let every senator,
every congressman, every representative, everyforeign head of state. And there are
so many that did unbelievable things.Five years, five years in England,
a person will go and sympathize forthe enemy, for the power of evil,

(42:00):
five years in prison? What strength, what guvura? A person must
raise their voice, They must speakout. We all have a voice,
some louder than others, some morepowerful, but everybody has a voice.
Imagine the crescendo if everybody will lendtheir voice to the crowd to this most

(42:22):
important, urgent, critical juncture intime. We are living through very decisive
days and it is dependent upon eachand every one of us. Not the
members of the Sahaw, not themembers of the Israeli army, not just
the people that live in Israel, but all of us. It is critical

(42:45):
for us how we comport ourselves, what we say, the things that we
do. We know that it saysin the Novi Lemancion for the sake of
Zion, lo I will not bequilent. I dare not be silent.
We have to raise our voice. We have to participate, we have to

(43:09):
make sure in whatever way I couldhelp, I could help. I was
visited by a family with a younggirl, and she asked me the question
if she would make kala hala, the special loaves for the Sabbath, for

(43:32):
Shabas and Yumta, and she wouldtake the halla the portion off of it
and make the broh and give itas a scus, as a merit for
the soldiers in Israel and for thehostages to come home. Would that work?

(43:53):
I took a look at this littlegirl, and I thought to myself,
Boy Hasham, blessed her. Shehas the right idea. We should
all have that idea, all todo something that will help all, To
do the effort moment, whether it'sa lot or whether it's a little,

(44:16):
but to do something to add tothe tremendous ground swell of Zuhuyo's of great
merits that now is mounting day byday for the holiness of Israel and for
all the people that are there. There was an incident that came out recently,

(44:37):
something that I think is incredible. We all have to move closer to
ausham chuva is for each and everyone of us. Everyone, we have
to repent to get to a higherlevel. It doesn't matter who the person
is, it doesn't matter how religiousthey are, it doesn't matter how holy
they might think they are. Weall have to get closer. Every day.

(45:00):
We are a work in progress, but especially during this time. So
there is a young woman, agirl in Israel. She decides that she
wants to visit a cousin living inTel Aviv. The cousin very religious.

(45:24):
She and her family somewhat rebelled againstreligion. Whenever the family would get together
for a family simhra for an occasion, there would inevitably be a disputation and
an argument. A dispute, nota bad argument, but would break out

(45:45):
religion, not religion. The religiouspeople this you don't have to and they
would always be involved in this. The cousin, the cousin living in Tel
Aviv was a fine young man, very religious. He was sitting in his

(46:06):
suca last week, sitting in hissouka, all of a sudden, there's
a knock at the door. Heopens the door to the soka. He
sees this young woman, his cousin, and he figures maybe she needs something,
maybe she came for something. Sohe got up ready to leave the

(46:29):
souka. She said, if youdon't mind, I would like to come
in for a minute. I wouldlike to ask you some questions. He
saw that she was not coming challenginghim. She was not coming with anything
in her mind, any agenda. She sincerely wanted to talk. She sat

(46:51):
down into souka and they began totalk. She said, you know,
I know you're you're going to thinkit's out of character. I want to
become a little closer to Hasham.I want to become closer to God.
Could you tell me what things areimportant for a Jew to know to come

(47:12):
closer. He spoke to her aboutthree important mainstays of Judaism, one of
them, of course, Shabbat Shabas, the Sabbath. He also began to
speak to her because she said, how about a Jewish woman and he began
just to say the cool kavu debasmele panima, the modesty and the greatness

(47:37):
and the holiness of a Jewish woman, and how she comports herself. They
had a discussion lasted two hours. Two hours afterwards, she said, thank
you so much. I hope Ididn't bother you on your Yomtov, on
your holiday. It's her holiday too, but she said, on your holiday.

(47:59):
She got up the left just alittle while. Just a couple of
days passed, she attended the party, the party that was held that was
broken in by the terrorists. Whenshe was at the party, she began
to feel, I don't know ifthis is the right avera, the right

(48:22):
atmosphere for me. And it's notwhat my cousin told me. And it's
the shavice. It is the Sabbath, and it's a party, and I
was supposed to like learn from it. And she began, who knows what
goes on? In the mind ofa person who knows what goes on?

(48:42):
And then the shamma of a person. She told her friend Sherry, I
would like to leave. I wouldlike to go. Sherry said, what
do you mean you like to go? We're here it's not finished. We
paid the money, we paid theticket. We're gonna stay. She said,
you know, Sherry, I reallywant to go. I don't feel

(49:07):
right being here. Cherry Sawilliams sugayou crazy. What are you thinking.
Finally, she said, I tellyou the truth. If you want to
stay, you could stay. Ihave to go. I have to go.
She began to leave. The friendthought, I came with her.

(49:30):
It's only right. I'll leave withher. They left. They walked sixteen
minutes away. All of a sudden, they began to hear all the fire,
all the missiles, all the explosions. They heard it. They turned

(49:51):
around, and about a moment later, the Mista ra the police were racing
to the scene. The police openedthe window and said, what are you
girls doing, And they said,we're leaving, running as fast as you
can. Those two girls survived. Those two girls made it to safety.

(50:17):
The others that they were standing togetherwith at the party, they are no
longer in our world. An individualduring this time is called to something a

(50:37):
little bit higher, to try tofind the goodness inside. Each one of
us has a power, a CoAstronger than we could ever imagine. We
have to reach in for that power. At this time, we have to
step up. We have to understandthe urgency of the moment, what is

(50:59):
required of all of us. Allof this was meant certainly to give us
a message in the time when itsays a nevr ra amim. The only
reason why the thunder in the skywas created lehisher at mi mischevallee to straighten
out the crookedness of the heart.Believe me, the thunder of the past

(51:25):
few days, the lightning in theair, the trembling that we all feel,
was meant for a reason to straightenus out, to give us a
sense of purpose, a sense ofdirection, to help us understand what is
our tough keyed, our purpose inthis world. Let us all join together.

(51:53):
I would suggest to say the telimthe psalms of David number twenty kuf
lam natzia also sherhamalos mimamakim kouf lahmadone hundred and thirty, one hundred and
thirty the som everybody to join into say it. You could say it

(52:17):
after the program. I would alsoencourage everybody to donate, to donate on
behalf of the relief organizations in Israel, those providing the military with all that
they need, those providing first thefirst responders to all emergencies. Wherever it

(52:39):
is possible to please donate money.Charity dollars are desperately needed in Israel.
One of the greatest mitzvols, Oneof the greatest things that a person can
do in this world is to giveof their money to give charity when it
is needed. I personally am familiarwith the work of United Hatzalah. They

(53:07):
have been there for the soldiers, they have been there for the people.
They come at all different times asfirst responders for whatever the need might be.
If you would like to donate, their website is Israel Rescue dot org.
Israel Rescue dot org. Whatever aperson can give at this time,

(53:32):
it will help immeasurably to all ofthose that need it the most. If
it were regular times, I wouldstill call out to you, But now
these are not normal times. Theseare times of war. I beg you
help. Whatever we have give helpto make a difference to those right now

(53:59):
that need your help most. Iencourage everybody at this time le man chaivai
for the sake of my brothers andall my friends. Ada Brons Schlembach we
would like to have peace, andeach one of us can be an ambassador

(54:19):
of peace. And everyone from theworld, all the nations of the world.
You're our brothers, you're sisters. We are a small nation. We
would love to have a lot ofgood cousins. We would have a greatest,
greatest enjoyment to have a lot ofnew brothers and sisters. I would

(54:40):
love to enlarge my family. Pleasejoin in, be together with us,
