Speaker 2 (00:37):
Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams, Director of Science at Invite Health, and happy
Saturday morning to everyone.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
I understand that.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
You guys have had a bit of rain in your
area for the last few days. Hopefully you'll have some
some nicer days ahead where you can get out doors
and do a little mindfulness techniques. I always say that's
the best thing for our anti aging approach. It's one
(01:11):
thing that I do every single day. I go outside
and I just I have a beautiful backyard. Thank you
to my husband because he's done such a wonderful job
with planting all these great trees, and it's amazing just
the amount of nature that I can see and hear,
so the birds and the butterflies, and my lemon tree
(01:32):
is doing really good. So maybe if I'm lucky, by
the end of the summer, I will have some lemons
to make some lemonade. But for today's show, I want
to get into some different nutrients that have been kind
of making some headline news as of recently. So two
(01:55):
things that we actually have in our product line, so
one being creatine mon hydrate and the other being NADH,
which as you know, if you've listened to this program,
you know that we partner up NADH along with our ubiquinol.
So we have our ubiquinol one hundred and twenty milligram
that has NADH in that and NADH is a vitamin
(02:18):
B three substrate and very beneficial for many different things.
But it's been shown to really have powerful activities when
it comes to sell energy and the survival length of
a cell.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
And that's one of the things that we know is.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
That as we grow older, if a cell starts to
lose its ability to perform its job, then that can
be a significant issue. So I want to talk about
those two products before I turn things over to the
Great Jerry Hickey, and he has quite the show for
you today. We have been talking frequently about you know,
(02:59):
what products I'm going to discuss in which products He's
going to discuss, and I do believe he is going
to be highlighting a little creatine for you today as well.
And there's a lot of I guess in a sense,
misinformation when it comes to creatine. So I want to
get into that as well, because I from time to time,
it's not a frequent thing, but from time to time
I do get questions from folks who say, well, you know,
(03:22):
I heard that if I use creatine that you know,
maybe that'll cause my hair to go thin or you know,
can that create a situation where I can go bald. No,
that is not the case, and there is significant, you know,
proof out there in clinical studies that show just that.
But it's always kind of amazing to me how information
(03:45):
gets passed along through through the chain one could say,
and oftentimes that information is not correct when it comes
to these different dietary supplements. So I I want to
get into to all of that now. Just keep in
mind that any of the products that I'm discussing today
(04:06):
are on not just to buy one, get one free,
but also if you use the promo code Amanda Woer,
you will also get an additional ten percent off. So
that's a wonderful thing because not only the ubiquinol, but
also that creatine monohydrate, So that's a buy one, get
one free plus ten percent off. Now, I also want
(04:26):
to just give you a friendly reminder that we have
an overstock sale going on right now, so I encourage
you to check that out. You can go to our
website and you can click on these special deals tab.
You will see all of those different products that are
on overstock right now. So that includes things such as
(04:47):
apple cit or vinegar, includes glued to thighone. We have
our rodiola extract, we have our carnosine all on an overstock,
including gluta checks which is one of my favorite formulations.
It has dimethyl glycin in that so it really helps
to enhance glutathione production. So make sure that you check
(05:11):
those out as you are checking out of our website.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
So that's our overstock sale.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
You can also mention that if you call in to
place your order or if you pop into one of
our stores, and remember our stores are open seven days
a week, so you can stop by.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
One of the stores.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
You can find these store locations, phone numbers and ours
all at our website invitehealth dot com. But let's get
right to it. Let's talk about some some of these
different studies that have come out and even you know
in the past, you know, week New York Times was
talking about creatine monohydrate and you know it does creatine help?
(05:52):
You know, it's been touted as being this wonderful supplement
that you can utilize for you know, working out and
building muscle by but you know, is it really effective?
And as we know with everything, it's not as simple
as like, oh, I'm just going to take one scoop
of creatine and then I'm gonna, you know, become like Popeye.
It doesn't work that way. Obviously, we have to look
(06:14):
at diet, we have to look at exercise, and then
of course we have to look at consistency of how
you are utilizing these different nutrients. All of these things
in totality make a big, big difference. But what I
want to talk about is the study that just came
out of.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Texas A and M.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
And Texas A and M said this overlooked supplement could
help you think sharper and age better. So let me
just put that headline out there again, could help you
think sharper and age better. So let's get into this
study out of Texas A and M. They recognize that
(06:55):
that creatine itself has been extensively looked at in the
world of sports nutrition and active muscle building. But they
started to see and we've seen this and this isn't
something new, This isn't like, oh, it's June of twenty
twenty five and Texas A and M just published this
finding and this is a breakthrough. We have known this
(07:18):
about creatine for upwards of two decades now, and you've
likely heard myself or Jerry talk about this. And when
it comes to the way creatine is working at that
cellular level, this is where that longevity benefit really kicks in.
So this is what they were looking at. They said,
(07:40):
once seen as only a gym workout supplement, it's now
understood that it plays a vital role in sell energy,
cognitive function, and healthy aging. And they can see how
it can boost your memory, it can reduce fatigue to
preserve the muscle mass over time. And remember that's really
(08:02):
important because we always want to avoid age related muscle
mass loss aka sarcopenia, and so looking at this they
could really start to hone in on the multitude of
benefits a goal along with creatine supplementation. As I mentioned,
(08:22):
there are many different things out there where you can
read and say, oh, well, goodness, should I be taking
creatine because you know, does it cause weight gain?
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Does it cause problems with hair loss?
Speaker 2 (08:37):
All of these misnomers on creatine. But we know that
the body requires this very important amino acid not only
for maintaining muscle mass, but far beyond that. Now recognizing
how it's working when it comes to cognition, and how
we utilize creatine when it comes to our memory as
we grow older. So when you're using our creatine monohydrate,
(09:01):
and we use a crystallized form, and this is important
because sometimes you'll hear different companies out there talk about,
you know, oh, we have the most advanced high absorption
creatine on the market. The science behind those types of
creatine monohydrates is not as powerful as what we use.
(09:23):
What we use at Invite Health is the creatine monohydrate
in that crystallized form that has been shown over the
past two three decades to have all of these different benefits.
So when you look at the study that comes out
of Texas A and M, what form of creatine are
they using. They're using the form that invite health uses.
So while there's always new things on the market and
(09:45):
you can look and say, oh, well, maybe this is better,
as you know, we're very rooted in the science. So
the same thing with our coenzyme Q ten. We're going
to use conica because we know that conica is the
most well researched and it is the form that actually
enhances the absorption of that ubiquenol into the inner core
(10:07):
of the cell. So this is why we do the
things that we do. Now back to creatine, looking at
this whole body of evidence as far as how creatine
supplementation affects the body. You know, does it lead to dehydration,
Can it lead to excessive muscle cramping?
Speaker 4 (10:29):
No?
Speaker 3 (10:29):
And no. Does it lead to hair thinning? No it
does not.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
There was some confusion out there for a while that
if you utilized creatine supplementation it could have an impact
on testosterone levels and actually increase total testosterone and in
turn this could potentially be a problem when it came
to hair thinning and hair loss. Those of all been
(10:55):
clearly debunked. We know that this is not the case
when it comes to creatine supplementation. The American College of
Sports Medicine has looked at this extensively, and we can
see that there is no link to kidney dysfunction, there
is no link to dehydration, there's no link to muscle
(11:16):
cramping when utilizing creatine monohydrate. So it's unfortunate that these
bits of information, bad information, get out there into the
universe and that people say, oh goodness, maybe I shouldn't
supplement with this when we know how important it is.
I mean, we can see that the researchers over there
(11:37):
at Texas A and M are so excited to talk
about this because of its broad health benefits.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
And this is why we.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Like to talk about creating here on this program. And
when people stop by and invite health store. I have
a lot of folks who I've worked with throughout the
years where I'll advise creating monohydrate. They say, yeah, but Amanda,
I don't you know, I'm not big into working now,
why would I take that? But maybe they have an
issue when it comes to balance, you know, you feel
(12:06):
a little off study, Maybe you know you're just healing
from a surgery such as a knee replacement or a
hip replacement, then taking that creatine really can help to
facilitate better energy into your muscle cells, which in turn
can help to stabilize the muscle, which in turn stabilizes
the underlying skeleton and gives you better balance. And they've
(12:29):
looked at this even in neurodegenerative disorders conditions such as Parkinson's,
where you know that shuffling gait as the you know,
kind of the key symptom with Parkinson's, and that when
individuals with Parkinson's are supplementing with creatine, it helps with
that energy not only to the muscles, but also into
the brain. So all of these connection points are very
(12:52):
very important, and you know, looking at study after study
with the many different ways that creatine helps to not
just allow for you know, muscle strength and that tone
and the muscle mass, but to see how powerful creatine
is when it comes to anti aging. And when you
(13:16):
look at the mitochondria, that's that inner core of the cell. Remember,
this is why we take ubiquenol, because that ubiquenol works
its way into the inner core of the cell to
generate atp or denison triphosphate. So we know with creatine
one of its claims to fames is that it can
help to significantly lower the amount of just crud that
(13:39):
can accumulate with inside of the cells, and we call
them lipofusion. So and if you're looking at a cell
under a microscope, for example, you can see the lipofusion
garbage one could just call it or clutter. And so
we know that creatine can actually.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Help to lower that build up.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
And this is hence where the anti aging benefits of
creatine come in. So when you're taking this, it allows
that mitochondria to kind of go in and do this
cleaning in a sense, and at the same time it's
re energizing that mitochondria. And I find it interesting because
over the course of probably the last ten years, there's
(14:21):
been much more emphasis on looking at the you know,
the aging body and why you know, the breakdown of
the mitochondria is the key player to this. Once we
start to lose that sells ability to generate energy, it
goes defunct. And once we go defunct with a cell,
(14:42):
then we're gonna start to have kind of this Domino's effect,
which is why looking at nutrients that are naturally occurring
in the body. Taking formulations like that creatine monohydrate, taking
formulations like the ubiquinal with the nad H why that
makes such a powerful impact to your system. And for
me on the science side, I always just find it
(15:05):
fascinating to read all of the different, you know, clinical
research studies that come out on these key nutrients and
looking at you know, does creatine create water retention? Does
creatine create fat gain? And I've read enough studies over
the past two decades to no, No, creatine does not
(15:25):
do this. But unfortunately, I said, this information gets out
there and sometimes people run with it and they say, oh, yeah,
you shouldn't take this, and I'm sitting here on the
other side, going, wait, but it can. It can lower lipofusion,
it can get rid of all the crud that's accumulating
and slowing the cell down. Of course, you want to
be using creatine monohydrate. This is in a sense, it's
(15:49):
a no brainer. We want to be utilizing this. And
we have to recognize too that creatine should not be
confused with creatinin. Creatinin is a waste build up that
occurs in the cell. So the two or two completely
different things, so it's always important to differentiate that. So
creatine supplementation is an anti aging nutrient, where creatinine is
(16:16):
a waste build up. So this is sometimes, like I said,
where those confusions can come into play. But we certainly
understand that the sound amount of decades of research on
creatine and seeing how beneficial it is beyond that of
just supporting muscle mass, seeing how it can help with memory,
(16:37):
seeing how it can help with the cognitive function, and
the way in which it protects ourselves from further degradation
as we grow older.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
It is a.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
Wonderful formulation for you to have into your daily routine,
even if you're not taking it every single day. Just
to take a scoop of creatine monohydrate two or three
times a week is a much better idea than not
taking it at all.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
And remember right now, that's on.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
That buy one, get one free and you get the
additional ten percent off, So keep that in mind. During
the commercial break, make sure you write down the phone number,
give us a call, or go to our website invitehealth
dot com and get your creatine monohydrate. So I'm gonna
take a quick break. When I get back, I want
to talk about NADH. What is NADH, why does it matter?
(17:27):
And why should you want to be using our ubiquenol
with NADH?
Speaker 3 (17:31):
So stick around with me. I will be right back
just after this.
Speaker 2 (17:35):

Speaker 5 (18:34):
Two and welcome back to Invite Health Radio.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
I am doctor Amanda Williams. Just talked a little bit
about creatine monohydrate all of the the anti aging properties
to creatine really is a great way to you kind
of just energize all of your cells. We know it
can help to lower lipofusion, which is that cluttery junk
(19:07):
build up that can lead to excessive just degradation within
the cell. And we don't want that to happen. So,
you know, taking this very beneficial. And there have been
studies looking at creatine supplementation in the setting of as
I mentioned, different neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer's disease, including Parkinson's disease.
(19:30):
And we know with Parkinson's, as I mentioned, with the
movement disorders that can occur within Parkinson's, we can see
how creatine can have a very positive effect in many
of those cell energy issues that occur within Parkinson's. So
if you know someone who unfortunately has been diagnosed with Parkinson's,
(19:54):
this is you know, an area that they should really
look into, is you know, taking creatines supplementation on a
regular basis, you know, to help to protect those neurons
in the brain from the breakdown and that loss of
you know, dopamine, and that certainly is the key feature,
the clinical feature when you're looking at Parkinson's, and the
(20:16):
same thing when we're looking at other neurodegenerative disorders.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
When you have this.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Excitotoxicity that occurs within the brain and it's kind of
like you know, something getting fried. That's what happens in
the brain in many of these conditions. So taking that
creatine monohydrate can help to create this balance once again
and in many sense of the ways, because I had
(20:43):
mentioned that, you know, the muscle strengthening effects of creatine
can actually help with the underlying skeleton and create more
of that stability. So it is a wonderful formulation. As
I mentioned, we use a crystallized form. We go to
right lengths when it comes to formulation and production of
(21:04):
all of our products, and creatine monohydrate falls into that
one as well. Now I want to shift focus to
another study. Now, this one is really interesting because they're
looking at NADH and we know that NADH is part
(21:24):
of a vitamin B three. So you have vitamin B
three which is niasin, and NADH is one of the
substrates of that.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
It's the reduced form.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
So as nyasin is working its way through the system
through our body and it is being utilized for its
different purposes, one of the things that we know is
that the end result is NADH. That end result is
what facilitates all of the many properties that go along
with that vitamin B. Three researchers are looking at this
(22:02):
now and they're saying, hey, this nicotinamide rib aside, which
is what we're using and are ubiquenol with NADH, that
this has these very powerful properties to enhance cardiovascular function,
to support kidney health, even to support skin health. And
they looked at a very rare genetic disorder that leads
(22:27):
to early aging, and they said, well, let's see if NADH,
if this can have any type of anti aging protection
for these individuals with this incredibly incredibly rare disorder. And
most people have probably seen a TV show or a
movie or someone has this, you know, premature aging disorder,
(22:52):
and so you know, they're taking basically worst case scenario
and then they're using this as a challenging point. They're saying,
we have this worst case scenario where someone is you know,
aging at such a rapid rate because of this genetic mutation.
Let's see if we give them NADH, if this can
(23:12):
help to slow that process down. So the syndrome is
called Werner syndrome w E R n R, and as
I mentioned, it's a very rare genetic disorder and it
causes this very rapid accelerated aging and you know, they're
developing gray hair and when they're teenagers, you know, they're
(23:35):
getting hair loss, cataracts, all these different chronic disease states
that are normally seen later on in life. And this
is something that the researchers said, well, you know, let's
see the actual influence that NADH can have on that
sell energy production. Can we kind of slow this down?
(23:58):
Can we blunt that effect through the action of NADH.
And sure enough they were able to see this. They
were able to see how it was creating these very
powerful benefits against you know, the chronic inflammation that was
occurring in these individuals, looking at the metabolic balance that
(24:21):
it was actually creating. And so this is something that
I think is kind of the key takeaway when you
look at yourself and you say, well, you know, luckily
I don't have this, you know, very rare genetic disorder
that accelerates aging. But I definitely am aware of the
aging process and I want to be able to slow
that down in any way that I can. So this
(24:43):
is why the supplementation of our ubiquhenol with NADH packs
such a powerful punch. And when you look at the
way in which our product is formulated combining that kanica ubiquhenol,
remember that made in Texas. This is the only bioidentical
form of coenzyme q ten that Invite Health uses. We
(25:07):
know that this is upwards of five times more bioavailable
than a standard coenzyme q ten. Remember the difference between
coq ten that you find at most vitamin stores or
if you go into a Walgreens, that's in the ubiquin
known form as opposed to UBIQUINL. So what we use
(25:30):
is the konica UBIQUINL. That is the reduced antioxidant, most
powerful form you can use, and it is bioidentical, meaning
that when you supplement with our COQ ten from Invite Health,
this is the only form that you can take that
the body recognizes right off the bat and says, oh,
you're supposed to be here. This is the exact same
(25:52):
form that the body naturally makes. So this is what
makes our products such a powerhouse, and of course the
decades worth of scientific research that stands behind that. And
then when you partner this up with NADH, which has
been studied extensively for its benefits for conditions like chronic
(26:13):
fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia, and of course a multitude of
cardiovascular conditions including athersclerosis, then you say, wow, this is
some pretty powerful stuff that invite health offers, and maybe
I'm taking the ubiquhen all with NADH, and I didn't
even realize all of the many benefits that go with this.
(26:34):
In the Journal of Nutrients as a matter of fact,
back in twenty twenty one, which is really interesting, they
looked at the partnering up of coenzyme q ten along
with NADH on fatigue and individuals who you know, complain
about you know, I just have no energy, I just
always feel like lethargic, I never feel well rested, And
(26:57):
so they looked at this. They looked at individuals who
had different chronic fatigue type syndromes, and they did a randomized,
double blind, placebo control trial where they gave these individuals
a combination of coenzyme q ten plus NADH for twelve weeks,
and at the end of that twelve week period they
(27:19):
could see a significant significant shift in not only their
perception of their fatigue, but the actual improvement of their
overall quality of life, because in just twelve weeks of
them taking ubiquenol with NADH, they had a profound shift
(27:44):
in their overall sense of wellbeing. They felt that energy
coming back. So we know that when we partner these
two things up, we're slowing down the aging process. We
are giving ourselves that fuel to be able to function
in the way that we know our cells need to function.
If we deprive our cells of this, if we do
(28:06):
not continue as we grow older to replenish things that
we know that are lost, we know our body struggles
to make coenzyme q ten in that same high amount
is when we were younger. So as we hit forty
years old, your natural production of coenzyme q ten drops significantly,
(28:26):
which is why supplementation with ubiquinol partnered with NADH to
get this whole multitude of anti aging benefits is so
incredibly advantageous. So that product is on special today. So
the ubiquenol with NADH and that creatine monohydrate. So these
(28:47):
are two products that maybe you're thinking, oh I just
need co Q ten if I have cardiovascular concerns, or
oh I just need creatine if I'm going to the
gym and working out. So I hope that you can
take from this program today that there are many different
uses for these two powerful formulations that we offer, and
they are both on special today. So there buy one,

Get ready for tomorrow's nutritional science today right here, right now,
Good morning, Happy Saturday. Jerry Hickey here for Invite Health.
And it's always an honor and a privilege to be
(31:24):
speaking with you. Many of you are very familiar with me.
I've been on this radio station for a long long
time and we speak about the best of nutrition. Here
I represent Invite Health. My background is pharmacy, biochemistry, and nutrition,
and I love this, and I only speak about nutritional
(31:45):
supplements that I am fully aware of their benefits, their safety,
and I truly believe in them. I truly believe in
their worth. Now, you may notice a trend. When I
discuss nutrition with you, I frequently refer to studies. But
these are not any old study. They're not studies in
(32:07):
a dish or a test tube. They're human studies, studies
on people like you and me. Those are the only
studies I quote when I tell you studies on this program.
And I've read you over the decades, tens of thousands
of studies. So because I want you to become aware,
(32:28):
I've been reading or seeing YouTube videos, et cetera about
nutritional supplements, and then I go and look at the
data on a nutritional supplement because what they say is tittlize.
I mean, it's like, wow, if that person is legit
and these studies are legit, this is like finding gold
as far as your health is concerned. But did you
(32:50):
read the studies and you find out they're in a
fly that lives one or two days, or they're in
a mouse, or they're in a worm they're not even
in a monkey, so that is not dependable research. A
study and a fly or a mouse not They're not humans.
(33:10):
We're humans, so I only talk to you about studies
that refer to humans. So I want to talk to
you now about our probiotic. Do you invite probiotic before?
But before I go there, make sure you use a
code when you contact Invite the place in order today
or this weekend Jerry WR. Jerry WR gives you an
(33:33):
extra ten percent off on anything, including items that are
on sale. So if you call on the phone to
invite the place in order, or you go into one
of our many stores, or if you go to website
invite health dot com and place in the order, make
sure you use the code Jerry my name j E.
R R y WOR which is a radio station, Jerry
(33:56):
Wor and get that extra ten percent off. So what's
the deal today? I'm going to talk about various really
high quality, very pure supplements that have benefits that are
proven to be safe in humans, that work in humans,
proven to work in humans. We know what to expect
for these supplements that are all fifty percent off suggested retail.
You buy two event you have the products I'm going
to speak about. You get fifty percent off suggested retail,
(34:18):
and if we ship it to you and it's thirty
five dollars or more, we cover the shipping, but get
that extra ten percent. She's getting almost sixty percent off.
Jerry wor So, I want to start with our probiotic.
We have a bunch of probiotics. They're all on special today,
like the Women's probatic and the white probatic that helps
(34:38):
you control your appetite. When I created this core probiotic product,
it's called Probatic Chex, I literally had a stack of
research about maybe nine inches high, and I went through
it very thoroughly, and of course research was coming out
(34:58):
every other day onotics, so it took me six months
just to decide what strains to use, and then I
had to seek out the best of the best of
those strains, the ones that used the best technology, et cetera,
the ones that are most dependable. So I came up
with a probiotic that has all of these wonderful five
strains that offer all of the benefits basically that you
(35:20):
can expect from a probiotic, because there are many many benefits,
benefits for the immune system, benefits for allergies, benefits for
digestive health and colon health, benefits for brain health, so
you can expect all of these. So I went into
PubMed on Monday, and I was looking through the studies
(35:42):
on probiotics, and I just typed in the word probiotics.
PubMed is a medical search engine. It's a medical research
search engine. In'spite the Library of Congress, fifty six thousand
citations came up for probiotics. So probiotics probably have more
research behind them at this point than almost any drug
(36:04):
other than maybe caffeine or alcohol. Okay, so probiotics have
more research behind them than any statin, than any antibiotic, did,
any high blood pressure pill. There's so many studies, and
some of these studies include one hundred thousand people, a
million people, thirty five thousand people, six thousand people. I mean,
(36:27):
we're talking probably a quarter of the world's population when
you add up the number of people that have been
used in probiotic studies. So these are I'm going to
talk to you about probiotics with allergies. That's where I
want to start, because they really made a difference for me.
I had wheat allergies. Now, I didn't have coeliac disease,
you know, I didn't have that gluten terrible, terrible response.
(36:51):
I had wheat allergies because wheat is a grass, and
I had pollen aalogies including the grass. So when I
took the probatic, my wheat allergy went away all of
a sudden. I could eat pasta and bread. Whole wheat
bread went out a problem. It was amazing. But also
my earborne analogies, the allergies to uh trees and grass
(37:13):
and weeds, they went away, they cleared up, and I
still had a little bit of analogy to dogs and cats.
Totally gone, totally gone. Now I have to tell you,
in the spring, maybe for two days I get a
little bit of a husky voice, and maybe my nose
get stuffed up a little bit. That's a far cry
(37:34):
from where my allergy response was before I took probiotics.
Before I took probiotics, my allergies felt like the flu.
I would be dizzy, I'd have a headache, my throat
would hurt, I couldn't breathe. I mean it was hard.
My stomach was all messed up, my skin was itching,
my eyes were richy. My ears were richy. You want
to scratch inside your ears when your allergy is a
(37:56):
bit so, I mean literally dizzy to the point where
some days I couldn't really stand up that well. Now,
my allergies about one or two days each spring, and
I don't know exactly what I'm reacting to. I have
a little bit of analogy, Like you can hear my
voices a little bit husky right now, Not a big deal.
(38:16):
I don't have any other symptom. No witchiness, no sneezing,
no witchy eyes, no witchy ears, no no witchy skin,
none of that. Nothing. So probiatics help with allergies, especially
the following three strains and species. Lack the Bacillus rhamnosis,
lack of Basillus plantarum, and by feeda bacterium animalis subspecies lactus.
(38:43):
So this is a study uh in children who have
food allergies and they would have reactions on their skin.
They would have something called atopic dermatitis where they'd get
like itchy wheels and everything on their skin, so they
really suffer. It was one hundred and fifty one kids.
(39:04):
They were all two years of age or less. So
you know that probiotics are safe, right, And they were
first put on an elimination diet, so they took them
off milk and soy products. They took them off milk
and soil products, and for three months they gave them
probiotics or a placebo along with the diet, and the
(39:30):
bacteria were lacked of Bacillus case i and lack of
Bacillus reagnosis, two strains I used frequently in my products.
And they found that the kids on the probiotic with
the diet really had a huge drop in their reactivity.
Many of them had a big drop. Now, just putting
(39:50):
them on the elimination diet helped. Just putting them on
the elimination diet helped. Months they were on an elimination diet,
they were on a probiotic or placebo. On the elimination diet,
it did help. But on the probiotic it helped a
(40:12):
great deal. And by the way, I didn't mention these
kids were allergic to milk, so they would take it
off milk and sol that's an elimination diet for their allergy.
Here's the thing, though, nine months after they stopped the probiotic,
theology symptoms start to come back. So you have to
periodically take the probiotic again if you want to keep
(40:35):
the symptoms away. So let's say you take a probiotic
for three months, your symptoms go away. You might want
to continue that probiotic every day for another three months
and then stop it for two months if you want,
but don't stay off it. Go back on it again,
replenish those bacteria because those allergy symptoms can come back.
I've seen this in study after study after study, especially
(40:56):
in kids. They'd take the kids off of the probiotic
six months play the kids are getting itchy again. You know,
they're getting their aalogies back. So here's the International Archive
of Allergy and Immunology. And I'm saying this because people
are having terrible allergies this year. With all the rain,
there's a lot of mold, so people have problems with
mold spores. You know, they threw down mulch two years
(41:19):
ago and then last year and they turned the mulch
over and it's all mold spores and they're reacting to
it from all the rain or just all the pollinuts
in the year. Everything is flowering right now, I mean,
everything's growing like crazy. Weeds are grown like crazy, all
your plants, your flowers because of all the rain. So
a lot of people are really suffering with allergies. I'm
telling you, probatics make a huge difference. So this is
(41:40):
the International Archives of Allergy and Immunology. And once again
these are human studies, as the University of Hohenheim and Stuttgart, Germany,
a whole bunch of different departments in that university, and
they said, we looked at the studies in people using
lactibus psilos rhabnosis and Lectipiscilla's plantarum so Electipacilli species, and
(42:04):
this helps them I'm paraphrasing, of course, I'm not reading
their technical jargon. And this helps them with their allergies.
It helps rhythm of symptoms, symptoms that affect the eyes
like itchy eyes or soris, stuffed nose, running nose, sneezing,
sore throat, coughing, breathing. The probiotic are recalibrating their immune system,
(42:29):
balancing it so it doesn't trigger allergic responses. So what
it's doing, if you know about the immune system and
the jargon with the immune system, it's increasing the THH
one control while reducing the THH two release of cytochons.
Sodokines are chemical triggers by the immune system. They're messengers
(42:49):
that certain ones are involved with allergies or autoimmune diseases
or other diseases. So controller the immunes increased while the
release improperly of immune chemicals that caused the allergic response decline.
So when they did the labs, the immunology labs, they
(43:12):
sought that immunoglobulins decreased that were related to allergies. So
what's it immunoglobulin, they're antibodies. This is a spectacular finding.
So not only did they see that the immune system
was behaving and that symptoms were going down, but when
they looked at the blood, they sought at the antibodies
(43:34):
to like, whatever it was, tree pollen, dog, damned cat dander, corn,
whatever it was, they would decline. And once again, these
are the strains and the species that I used in
the probiotic HX. So here's another one. These are Greek
researchers from all over Greece, some of the islands, et cetera.
(43:56):
It's in the journal Clinical Immunology about a week ago,
and they said numerous studies demonstrate that damage to the
microbiome is common in people with allergies and other The
microbiome is the bacteria that live with you. So they're
saying that an unhealthy microbiome is strongly connected with allergies.
(44:20):
But they said, people are not looking at the microbiome
in the mouth. Now, this is really interesting. The microbiome
in the mouth helps control the immune system, and helps
control your circulation, and helps prevent strokes and heart attacks,
and helps you with muscle function and helps you with
brain health. The microbiomate the bacteria that live in your mouth,
(44:40):
and if you have good bacteria in your mouth, when
you eat vegetables, they create nitric oxide. Most of your
nitric oxide is made this way. This opens up your
blood vessels so you can exercise where you could get
blood floats in the brain, or it helps with your
blood pressure control or helps your heart stay healthy. But
also that nitric oxide kills viruses and bacteria. So they're saying, hey,
(45:04):
it's not just the bacteria in the intestines, but it's
the bacteria in your mouth that are important. But here's
the interesting thing. When you take our probiotic, some of
those probiotic will migrate to your mouth and build up
your oral microbiome. It really matters, It really really matters. Okay,
(45:24):
let's go to a break All of our probiotic supplements
run special. You buy one it suggested retail. You get
the sick of bottle free. I take it every day.
My wife takes it every day. We take two different ones.
She takes the probatic immune. I take the probatic HX.
There are reasons for that, but this will sort of
(45:46):
probiotic for women. Oh, the probatic for women is. I
spend a lot of time on it. It helps cleanse
the breasts. Like all the chemicals that you get in
your food or when you inhale the air, or when
you drink water, or you know, from your makeup and everything.
All those chemicals, some of them are really bad for
the breasts, and unless you have healthy bacteria in your
(46:08):
milk ducts, you can't get rid of those chemicals. They're
called zeno estrogens. They look like estrogens. That's why they
go to the breasts. That's why they concentrate in the breasts.
So bad bacteria inflame the breasts and also cannot break
down these chemical estrogens. The bacteria and the Probatic for
(46:29):
Women can break down these dangerous chemicals and a woman's breasts.
They also help prevent urinary tract infections. They also help
prevent vaginal yeast infections, and they are also good for
vaginal health in general. So that Probatic for women, that's
a fantastic supplement. So I told my wife, I want
(46:51):
you to take the Probatic for women one day and
take the Probatic Immune the next day, and we're just
going to go back and forth on them. Okay, So

Speaker 4 (48:27):
Okay, Welcome back to your Hicky Invite Health Radio. I
spoke about probiotic at a first segment. In fact, I
extended that segment a great deal, so its a long segment,
and I think very instructive talking about probiotics and allergies.
But probiotics, I just want to mention quickly. Our probatic
a checks also helps your immune system defend you from infection,
(48:47):
and it's great for your digestive track. It's just wonderful.
If you have constipation, if you have editable ball syndrome,
if you have diarrhear, gassiness and bloating, anything like that,
that probiotic is fantastic. Okay, I take creatine every day,
creatine monohydrate. Don't spend money on crazy forms of creatine.
(49:11):
They're no better than creatine monohydrate because basically most of
the human studies have been done on creatine monohydrate. But
it's a lot less expensive than the other forms of creatine.
And our creatine, by the way, is not from animals.
It's made through a bacterial fermentation process. They take vegetables,
they ferment them with certain good, healthy bacteria, like probatic bacteria.
(49:32):
They create creatine and they isolate it. That's what they do.
It's very purified creatine. So if you're vegan or vegetarian,
you can use our creatine monohydrate no problem, and you
should because they've proven through a number of studies now
that vegans brains suffer with memory, and a major reason
why vegan's brains suffer with memory vegans don't have any
(49:55):
animal products is because they lack creatine. Monohydrate in the
brain is a creatine hydrate system and the brain that
gives the brain energy. And when you give a vegan
a creatine monohydrate like the invite one, their brain is
more energetic and their memory literally comes back. It improves
because they didn't lose their memory, they just can't get
(50:16):
at it. And vegetarians have lower mental energy than people
who are omnivores. Omnivors heat everything, so when you give
a vegetarian creatine, their brain has more energy, more snap,
crackle and pop. Now this is the University of Regina
(50:38):
in Canada, brand And University in Canada, the University of Liverpool,
University of Florida, oh No, University of Central Florida, and
Syracuse University. Okay, now they're talking about people, especially people
in our age group. When you take creatine, it reaches
(51:00):
your brain and the amount of creating in your brain
as a human will increase. This helps your brain awareness,
your mental energy, and your memory. Creating especially benefits older
people's brains, but it also benefits the brains of people
(51:21):
with brain injuries, people with anxiety, and people with depression.
So creatine is fantastic for the brain. It blows in
your brain. How does creatine work? Energy is made out
of food. Of course, food and oxygen interact and you
create something called ATP, and ATP shuts off a phosphorus
and that's your energy. That's almost all your energy. So
(51:44):
you have to rejuvenate that. You have to renew that,
you have to cycle that, recycle it. So creatine recycles
the ATP. In other words, creatine recycles the brain energy.
Creatine in your brain cell creates phospho creatine and this
donates the phosphorus and recreates ATP and your brain keeps
(52:05):
on going. It has a lot more energy than without
taking creating. So these are researchers from all over Canada
published in the journal Nutrients. Your Brain thrives on creating.
Your brain accepts creatine and creatine gets into your brain
(52:26):
and it helps attenuate. Attenuate means lesson or get rid
of symptoms from a concussion, from alt traumatic brain injury,
and improves depression and mood. Now here's the journal Alzheimer's
and Dementia it's a pilot study, so they're starting to
(52:47):
look at creating is so fantastic for the brain that
they're starting to look at creating for people with Alzheimer's,
because Alzheimer's, be regardless, what was the Alzheimer's, it's a
big disruption in brain energy. It's a huge disruption in
brain energy. So this is about three weeks ago. It's
(53:12):
the University of Kansas Medical Center, and they took patients
with Alzheimer's disease and they gave them four scoops of
creatine monohydrate every day for two months, so they gave
them ten grams twice a day. As the creatine in
their brain improved, cognition improved globally. So this is going
(53:37):
in a very good direction here because it was very
safe in patients with Alzheimer's disease. They're very fragile people,
so when they gave them the creatine, it was restoring
the cycle of energy production and release and renewal, and
their ability to understand and maybe even learn a little
(53:59):
bit and remember improved. It was coming back. Here's the
University of Sydney. It's in the journal Proceedings of Biological Sciences.
These are vegetarian young people, young adults like in their twenties, thirties,
and forties. They gave them a scoop of creatine every
(54:20):
day for six weeks. Creatine improved their working memory. Now,
working memory is kind of like the memory you're using
to do what you're currently doing. So when you're doing
a chore or fixing something, that's a piece of memory
that you store for a little bit of time that
you need to use while you're doing something. When you
develop real brain issues as you grow older, that's basically
(54:43):
the first part of memory that you're losing. You're losing
your working memory. So young vegetarians, I told you they
don't have enough brain energy reserve because they don't get
creatine from their vegetables. Creatine improve their working memory, and
also their intelligence actually clicked up a little bit and
(55:08):
their ability to use language and information was improving. It's
not that they had any damage, they just didn't have
the fuel for their brain to work properly. Now most
people know creatine out of the gym. That's where it
came out of the world of bodybuilding, because creatine helps
(55:30):
with like endurance, things like where you need a spurt
of energy, So I take creatine after I exercise because
I want to improve my strength. I'm seventy one years old.
I'll be seventy two in February, so what is that
about six months away? I don't want I know, guys.
I have a friend, Howard, who just passed away, and
(55:53):
he got into a weakened state in his sixties, late sixties.
He already broke a hip. In his early seventies, he
broke his other hip. He didn't exercise, he didn't eat right,
he didn't take supplements, and he wound up with all
kinds of problems, and at the age of seventy three,
he passed away. But he was If you're like a
(56:18):
healthy ninety five year old, you're in ten times better
shape than this guy was, one hundred times better shape.
So it really matters what you do with getting rest,
getting sleep, exercise, and eating properly. So I take creatine
(56:38):
after I exercise. It's not the only thing I take.
I take a shake after I exercise. I do that
for my muscles because after exercise, your muscle fibers open up.
I exercise every day. Every day, I do some form
of exercise, whether it's push ups, lifting weights, riding my bike.
There's always something gardening for six hours. Because I'm of
(57:00):
the cord. When I get out of the garden, I
don't stop until I drop. My hands are filthy, my
clothing is destroyed. I'd love to get out there and
get gritty, so I get a lot of exercise. After
the exercise, I take the creatine because I know it's
great for my muscles, the muscle fibers I've opened. The
creatine gets into the muscle and it restores energy and
the muscles, so the next day I'm not getting all
(57:22):
kinds of muscle issues. However, the real reason I'm taking
it is for my brain, because it is like like
like much better than a cup of coffee for your brain.
Much am I against coffee, though coffee has been shown
the lowder risk of liver cancer and liver disease, loader
risk of diabetes, help loader risks certain types of breast cancer.
(57:45):
Is good for the brain, maybe even good for the heart.
Too much coffee is not good, but some coffee, if
you do it every day, is okay. But creatine is
better for juicing up your brain than coffee to be.
And they find that creatine cycle, the cycle of creatine
(58:06):
production release and utilization declines in older people. And when
you give an older person a scoop or two, it's
very safe, and you know, and whatever they're drinking or eating,
their brain just blossoms. It's just mushrooms into energy production.
It's just their awareness improves, their their mood, the they're
joy wan of eve fed to seek all these things
(58:30):
just really amazing, amazing. Okay, I have to go to

Okay, welcome back. You know I said Finn the Sikh
before I was watching a history program. I didn't mean Finnsique.
That's kind of like the end of the century, nineteenth century.
I've been engaged to universe. Okay, but let's get back
to so creaty gives you the energy to engage the universe. Okay,
So let's move on. I want to talk about biocurcumm.
(01:00:41):
Biocurcum five locks in. All of our supplements have GRASS status.
What does that mean? That's an important term. Grass means
the FDA to Food and Drug Administration recognizes that our
supplements are safe. They're safe supplements. So our bio curculemen
five locks in for pain has GRISS status.
Speaker 3 (01:01:03):
So why do I bring that up?
Speaker 4 (01:01:04):
Of course, you would hope that something I'm trying to
sell you for your health is safe, because many of
the drugs you buy in the supermarket for your aches
and pains are not safe. When you buy a drug
like advil, abuprofen, aproxym and approxy, any of those drugs,
naperson open it up and look at the literature, and
(01:01:29):
the first thing you see is a big black box warning.
It's encased in a black outline because it's telling you
that these drugs, if you use them all the time,
can become quite dangerous for your heart. They can cause
heart failure, they can trigger a stroke. Not good. They
can damage your kidneys, they can damage your eyes, they
(01:01:50):
can damage your hearing. You're not supposed to use those
drugs every day. You're not supposed to use ibuprofen or
an a proxyen too commonly sold drugs for arthritis and
pain every day. They become risky. When I went to
pharmacy school in the nineteen seventies, yes I'm a dinosaur,
they taught us that those drugs were really just to
(01:02:13):
be used in like a short term fashion. They weren't
designed to be used every day back then, and we
know it. But for some reason, over time, people are
assuming that they could take their be profit every day.
This could be quite dangerous. My mother's doctor my mother's
high blood pressure. Her doctor said, you can't use advil
(01:02:36):
or any of those drugs because they raise your blood pressure.
So my mother uses biocurcument five loxing because it has
grass status. It's safe now. Biocurcumit is a high potency turmeric,
but unlike other turmerics. It's actually absorbed and it's very pure.
It's very pure, it's grown organically, it's very pure. There's
(01:02:57):
no lead or anything in there like that. Pure, very clean,
and it's well absorbed because of the technology. And it's
loaded with curcumin and has a tremendous amount of curcumin.
So there's been quite a few studies comparing our biocurcumen
to prescription medication for joint pain, for arthritis. They've compared
(01:03:20):
it to celebrates, which is celocoxin. They've compared it to
a vulterin which is diclofenac. They've compared it to imbiprofen, motrin,
they've compared it to aniproxy and approx and sodium, and
it clearly works as well when you use enough for
a long enough time without the dangers of those drugs,
(01:03:42):
without the risks, without the complications, without the bleeding ulcers,
without the damage to the heart, without the increase in
blood pressure that you get from the drugs over time,
because you really do have a risk of reacting to
those drugs. So those drugs are meant to be like
emergency you struck. So I mean, by all means you
wake up in the morning, you wrenched your back the
(01:04:05):
day before moving something. You move, the heavy discus on
your back's killing you. Yeah, use those drugs for a
couple of days, but if you have long term pain
in your neck or your back, or your shoulder, or
your thumb and fingers, or your knee, your hip, you
don't want to be on those rugs every day. Use
the biocurcument five loxes because they show, Like Tofts University
(01:04:29):
up in Boston, Johns Hopkins down in Baltimore, they've all
done reviews, study after study after study shows our biocurcumen
works as well as advile or leave or celebrates without
the complications, without the side effects, and it's very good
for pain in your back or your neck or your knee.
(01:04:50):
So I tell people, if like, let's say you have
really bad knee pain right now, some people I tell
them they add to biocurcuman five locks into their existing
drug because they have a really bad problem. So, if
you have a really bad pain and you're on celebres,
adding buyer curcumin five locks into the celebrex is safe.
(01:05:14):
It's very safe. You're not making the celebrex dosage higher
because then you have problems and it works all of
a sudden, the pain is really mitigated, the symptoms assuaged. Now.
The five lox in is Frankinson's Boswellias arata, the best
of the best of the Frankinson's plant, and they've shown
(01:05:36):
that when you mix the Buyer curcuman with the five
locks in, the relief is tremendous because they come at
inflammation and pain from two different avenues, the fidal of
Pockygenay's pathway and the Cox two pathway, and it really
helps clare up the pain, the inflammation is suffering. But
there's more to it than that. I take I'll tell
(01:05:57):
you my cocktail with dinner. I take nac an antioxidant
because it cleans out all kinds of toxins. I take
magnesium because that's really good for your bones at night,
and it's really good for the immune system. It's really
good for sleep, it's really good for the brain, it's
really good for the heart and blood pressure. And I
(01:06:20):
take two Buier curcument five octions. So why would I
take Buier curcumin five loction towards the evening Because they've
been shown to stimulate the release of growth factors in
your heart for stronger heart, brain ut neurotrophic factor, and
in your brain for memory and intelligence. So I've said
(01:06:43):
this before in this program a number of times, but
not everybody can listen to the whole program, and not
everybody can listen every week, so it's worth repeating important information.
About eleven or twelve years ago, it was discovered that
when young people go to sleep at night and they
sleep long enough, they create hundreds of new memory cells.
(01:07:06):
And they do this by releasing nerve growth factor and
brain derived neurotrophic factor in their brain. So when they
go into deep sleep, they're recreating memory cells. They're giving birth.
They're taking stromo stem cells and converting them to memory cells.
So they can create literally approximately six hundred memory cells
(01:07:29):
every night if they get a good night's sleep, because
sleep is a cycle like two and a half hours,
and when they go into these stages of deep sleep
during that cycle that's non rim sleep, they're creating memory cells.
The problem is that ability declines with age. There are
certain things that help that ability help restore. Zinc probably does,
(01:07:54):
but biocurcuman definitely does. Five different human studies giving biocurcumen
increases the release of brain direct or, a trophic factor
and nerve growth factor when you're sleeping at night. And
this helps you create new memory cells, and that's called
cognitive reserve, and that's a very important function of biocurriculum.
(01:08:20):
So because when you create these new memory cells, they
have not been damaged with depression, they have not been
damaged with plaque that leads to things like Alzheimer's, then
new healthy memory cells like any young person, and your
brain goes on working. So even if you have some
damage in your brain related to dimension related to Alzheimer's,
(01:08:41):
your brain, your memory can go on working if you've
built up enough cognitive reserve. They found us out in
the Nuns study. I think it was in the Arizona
back in the nineteen eighties that the nuns who built
up cognitive reserve, even though they had the plaques of
the brain you see in sability of the brain in
Alzheimer type diseases, et cetera, their brain kept unfunctioning. Biocurcuman
(01:09:05):
helps you attain that. And the five loxin is an
anti inflammatory antioxidant to protect your brain from all kinds
of insults. Because antioxidant levels declined with age. With the
five lox and you're putting back some of that activity
to stop inflammation in your brain. So I'm actually taking
fire curcument five oxen from a memory. But most people
(01:09:26):
take it because they have a damaged shoulder, you know,
rotator cuff damage, or they have stiff muscles because they're
older and maybe they were dance instructor or they were drivers,
so they get back pain, you know, like a like
a chauffeur, or maybe they're a bartender or something, or
a weight or a waitress and they're on their feet
all day on these hard floors of tiles because tile
(01:09:49):
is easy to clean, so all these restaurants and bars
have tile floors, and that's very hard on your body.
I've had bartenders, waitresses, choreogra refers, dancers all contact me
about the Bioicurricman five blocks and helping them with their
knee pain, helping them with their hip pain, helping them
with their neck pain, helping them with their back pain.
(01:10:10):
It's fantastic for back pain. So a number of people
take the bio Circuman five boxing for their arthritic new
or hips and basically the other half of them are
taking it for like back pain and neck pain. It
really makes a difference. Or if you have arthritis and
you could use the bio Curcument five boxing for any
kind of arthritis. There's about one hundred types of arthritis.
(01:10:30):
Some of them I haven't even heard of. They're so rare.
But the more common forms of arthritis are ostroarthritis by far,
that's the leading one, you know, where you have to
wear a tear in your knee or your hip, or
your your fingers like your thumb. And then there's rheumatoid
arthritis and things like ankulous and spondylitis and the spine
or loopus arthritis or ciatric arthritis. They are the more
(01:10:53):
common ones, and the bio Curricleman five blocks is fantastic
for those. You could take it with your medication, or
you could take it alone. I mean certainly for ankulosi
spondylitis where your spine is getting damaged, you want to
take the drug. You want to take the prescription drunk,
or maybe you have out of control room to an arthritis,
which is very dangerous because eventually you could cause a
stroical heart attack besides destroying your joints and closing pain,
(01:11:17):
and to buy a curricument five locks into the drug,
it's going to work a lot better now. So I
take the bio curcument five blocks in every day from
my brain. I take it with my dinner, two capsules.
But most people are taking it for their pain, and
it's really safe and it really is effective. The scores
the scores of studies on our five locks and our biocurricument,
(01:11:41):
like the University of Georgetown and me High University and
Well looked at the five locks and said, hey, this
stuff really works. It's relaxing genes involved with pain and
inflammation and damage to the joints, and it's stimulating genes
that help prevent damage to the joints. And it really
is helping people. So the bio circument five blocks fantastic
for your brain and fantastic for your arthritis or any
(01:12:05):
kind of like muscle soreness or back pain. It's just
a fantastic supplement. Okay, let's go to a break. Don't

Speaker 4 (01:13:43):
Okay, Welcome back to the program, Jerry Hickey, Invite Health.
As I mentioned in the start of the program, I
only quote human studies. There's no point in quoting a
study from a test tube or a mouse or a
fly that lives one day of as ridiculus. And a
lot of companies, I hate to say this. We'll talk
(01:14:04):
about their supplement like it's something special and say, hey,
studies show that this lengthens your lifespan by twenty percent,
and then you find out when you go into the
study that the study was done on yeast in a dish,
or a fly or a gerbil. They're not humans. You
need these studies and humans to really mean something. So
(01:14:25):
when I took about my supplements, the supplements I design
personally and how I take them, et cetera, it's all
based on human data. So let's talk about grape seed
extract now, we don't use the Chinese grape seed extract
because there's been some issues with it. It's not always
that clean, et cetera. So we get our grape seed
(01:14:47):
extract from Novida, which is a French Italian pharmaceutical company.
But it's a pharmaceutical company that only makes supplement ingredients
like grape seed extract or green teet. That's all they make.
So we use a number of their ingredients because they
have studies of their ingredients human studies published in peer
(01:15:09):
reviewed medical journals, studies that lack bias. So let me
tell you a couple of things about grape seed extract.
It's a very complex supplement. It's actually from the white grape.
When they talk about respiritual, that's the skin of the
red grape. But when they talk about grape seed extract,
they get it like from chardon A grapes because that
(01:15:30):
has more of the grape seed extract and grape seat extract.
In humans, they're actually called oligomeric parento cyanidins. These are
super powerful protectors. So when you take one grape seed
extract in the morning, let's say, what's your breakfast, You
could take it on an empty stomach or with food,
it doesn't matter. It's going to get into the system.
That is a powerful influence on protecting your brain and
(01:15:54):
your eyes, and your kidneys, and your heart and your
skin and all over the body because it's a super
powerful antioxidant and we're giving you two hundred and fifty
milligrams in this vegetable capsule. So the University of California,
Davis is somewhat near wine country. There's a lot of
(01:16:14):
wine countries in California, and they did a series of
studies on grapeseet extract and people would high blood pressure,
and they found that it reduced cystolic blood pressure five
to six percent and it reduced diastolic blood pressure by
four to seven percent. So what's that all about. When
you look at blood pressure, like a typical reading would
(01:16:37):
be one hundred and twenty over eighty. The top figure
is systolic blood pressure, that's when the heart is actively
pumping oxygen rich blood all over the body. And the
bottom figure is called diastolic blood pressure. That's when the
heart is kind of refilling with blood and it's getting
a tiny bit of a rest. If that bottom figure
is elevated, that's a bad sign because the heart is
(01:16:59):
not getting arrest. So if the heart's beating one hundred
thousand times a day and not resting in between, that
could lead to arrhythmias, blocked arteries, heart attack, strokes. It's
just not good. So a lowering diastolic blood pressure by
four to seven percent, if it's elevated, it's fantastic. So
they did a bunch of studies, and now those are
(01:17:20):
human studies, by the way, they did a bunch of
studies using our product. Like it's in the journal Nutrients.
It's in the journal Evidence Based and Complementary Medicine and
Alternative Medicines. And these are researchers in Italy, researchers in Germany.
And I found that if you give our grape seed
(01:17:42):
to people with mild to moderate high blood pressure, high
blood pressure is called hypertension. Okay, that's the technical name,
the medical name. If you give our grape seed to
people with hypertension, their blood pressure could go to about normal.
Like the first study they did was in the sin
Veltino Health System in Barrier, Italy, and they took people.
(01:18:06):
These people were smokers, they were diabetics, they were roboweight,
they had high blood pressure, and typically the blood pressure
might have been you know, one hundred and thirty to
one hundred and forty five over let's say eighty five
to ninety. So that's not good. And when they gave
them our grape seed over the course of four months,
it was a longer study than that, but by four months,
(01:18:28):
ninety four percent of the participants blood pressure went back
to normal, ninety four percent of their compitted placebo, ninety
four percent of dead blood pressure went back to normal.
So they did a follow up study, this time in
Germany and Italy. The first one was Frans and Italy.
This is Germany and Italy, and they found the same thing.
(01:18:49):
Over a four month period, control of blood pressure improved
dramatically in people with mild to moderate blood pressure. I'm
going to tell you how science has found it works
in humans. When your arteries are clogged, they stiffen, so
the heart has to pump harder to get blood to
the brain and the muscles and the organisice system to
(01:19:11):
get circulation going. The heart has to pump harder. That's
high blood pressure. So they found that grape seed work
by stabilizing a gas that opens up your blood vessels.
It's called nitric oxide. So nitric oxide, especially in the
people with high blood pressure, is very unstable and it
doesn't work, and it tends to become negative instead of positive,
(01:19:35):
negative for the health instead of positive, because the people
with high blood pressure and diabetes typically converted into something noxious.
So when they gave the grape seed, it preserved the
nitric oxide, and it made the nitric oxide work and
it did its job of opening up the blood vessels.
Blood flowed more easily to all the organs and tissues
and muscles and grain and eyes, et cetera. And the
(01:19:58):
blood pressure went back to normal because the heart didn't
have to pump hard to get it there. So that's
a rather spectacular finding. Actually, now there's one other use
for grape seed that's fantastic. It could be for weight
loss or blood sugar. Now, if you're not concerned about
blood sugar or weight loss, don't take it before meals.
(01:20:20):
But if you want to lose some fat or get
your blood sugar under control, take the grape seed before meals.
They did this first study years ago, and they gave
people a very sugary meal. It was like slices of
white bread with grape GM on them and a sugary drink,
(01:20:41):
and their blood sugar went crazy. And then they gave
them the same meal with grape seed extract and it
blocked most of the sugar from being absorbed. Why sugar
is not automatically absorbed, you have to break it down.
It kind of has branches on it, kind of like
(01:21:03):
a Christmas tree, and you reallyse enzymes alpha amylase enzymes
and alpha glucosidase enzymes that snap off certain of these branches,
and then you absorb the sugar. The way grape seed works.
If you take it before a meal, it attaches to
these enzymes, the alpha glucosidase enzymes and the alpha amylase enzymes.
(01:21:25):
And when you eat something with sugar, because you know,
a lot of things have sugar, even though they might
be healthy, like beans and peas and whole wheat bread,
et cetera, they have sugar. So when you eat them,
these enzymes break the sugar down and you absorb the sugar.
If you take the grape seed before you eat them,
it blocks the enzymes from working temporarily and you don't
(01:21:49):
absorb the sugar. You absorb some of the sugar because
you need some of that sugar for your energy, but
you're not absorbing all the sugar. So I tell people
who have pre diabetes especially do this. I mean, it's
just amazing. It'll really help your pre diabetes. There are
certain nutrients that really help pre diabetes or diabetes. So
I tell diabetics or pre diabetics take the grape seat
(01:22:11):
before each meal. It's, first of all, it's a great
antiocudant for your kidneys and your heart, and your brain
and your eyes, you know places that diabetes attacks. So
grape seed first and foremost helps block damage by all
that excess sugar in the blood that can damage your
organis and systems if you're diabetic or pre diabetic, because
it's already happening if you have pre diabetes. And secondly,
(01:22:32):
it blocks the absorption of all that sugar to a degree.
You still absorb some because you need some, but you're
not going to absorb all of it. So that really
helps diabetics and predietics. But by the same token, if
you need to lose some fat, it'll help you by
blocking the absorption of some of the carbohydrate sugars. Now,
if you're not concerned about the carbohydrate sugars, then just
(01:22:53):
take the grape seed at the end of the meal
or in between meals, and you're not going to have
that same effect. So here's what's on special today. Probiotic
h checks which is fantastic furor immune system, very helpful
with getting rid of the symptoms of allergies, are really
assuaging them, really having a much less severe allergy season,
(01:23:16):
helping with your digestion, helping with guestines, supploating, helping with
diarrhea and constipation, and also helping you fight viruses and
other infections. The probatic A checks is perfect for that.
And then there's a probatic for women for their breasts,
for the urinary tract for their vaginal tissue, and a
probatic community that has like zinc, vitamin D and probatic
for the immune system. They're all on special creatine monohydrate.
(01:23:39):
It is fuel for your brain and fuel for your
muscles and fuel for stamina. It's very safe and it
absolutely works. I mean there's neurologists after neurologists, after neurologists
that is recommending to their patients. Neurologists specialize in nerve
and brain health. Take some creatine monohydrate. This is especially
important for older people because our ability to use creating
(01:24:00):
and create creating, et cetera diminishes greatly. You give an
older person like me creatine because I take it every
day for my brain. It's great for my muscles, you know,
my endurance and strength, but it's fantastic for my brain.
So the creating amount of hydrate is my brain energy,
and I feel it, I mean in a really good way.
Then bio Curcuben five locks. It helps you create memory cells.
(01:24:22):
That's why I take it with dinner. But it's also
fantastic fear arthritis pain. You sow joints. And the last
thing on special this morning is grape seed extract. You
take it before meals. That blocks the absorption of some
of the sugar front of meal effect a lot of
sugar from the meal. That helps control your blood sugar.
But that also helps you lose some fat. If you
need to lose some fat. If you're not worried about that,
(01:24:42):
take it at a different time. Don't take it before meals.
It's very good for your circulation. Older people, our circulation
breaks down because we don't release the gas properly. That
keeps our blood vessels open so our blood pressure continues
to rise, or maybe we're clogging our arteries a little bit.
The grape seed restores the ability of our blood feat
so it's to pop open, so it's easier on the heart.
The heart gets arrest. A resting heart, a healthy heart
(01:25:05):
is less likely to have an arrhythmia or cause a
storic or a heart attacks. And that's what that's all about.
The grape seat extract will help lower your blood pressure
if your blood pressure is elevated. Now here's the deal.
