Today right here, right now.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Good morning, Happy Saturday. Thank you for joining me on
this trip through nutrition. My name is Jerry Hickey. I'm
a pharmacist who always has specialized in nutrition and I
love it. It's a challenge for my brain, and I
hope that I can challenge your brain today and stimulate
your brain. In fact, I'm going to talk about several
nutrients that are fantastic for your brain, especially for older

(00:53):
brains like mine. And it's a good time to do this,
So it's a good time to purchase these supplements. These
are very high quality, pure fresh supplement, well thought out,
safe and they have benefit because they're having the Labor
Day sale. That's why it's a good time to discuss
these supplements and for you to purchase these supplements. Now,
I have to say I discuss a lot of things
on this program. They have nutritionists in Invite at Invite Health.

(01:19):
They're working right now. They're working seven days a week,
and you can discuss these supplements and say, hey, what's
right for me? You know, I want my custom supplement
program specifically for me or my loved ones. Because this
program's all about sharing good quality nutrients and Invite specializes
in good quality, safe nutrients. That's why the nutritionists.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Are on here.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
They can really help guide you towards what you need.
And I urge you to do that. Speak with the nutritionists.
It's very helpful. So we're having our Labor Day sale,
great time to purchase these nutrients. You buy two of
any of these products, you get fifty percent off suggested retail.
But also if it's thirty five dollars or more, Invite

(02:02):
pays to shipping, So that's a big discount that comes
to a lot of money you're saving. So let's start
off talking about one of my favorite supplements. I get
it every day. I take it every day with my lunch.
It's called resveratrol. Our rest verritual is a natural supplement.
It comes from plants. It's the correct form of rest viritual.

(02:25):
There are two forms of rest viritual. This is the
one that's really good for your brain and your circulation.
So we say that rest ritual is vaso active, which
means it supports healthy circulation. And one of the ways
it does this is boost circulation to your brain. So
to prove this to you, I'm going to quote several studies.

(02:46):
These are researchers in Germany. It's the Neurocure Center at
the Max Planck Institute. This is where they study brain
science and it's a group of older adults up to
the age of seventy five, and they gave them res Virtual.
In fact, this is why I came out with a
two hundred milligram res virtual. They gave them two hundred

(03:07):
milligrams of rest virtual every day with food for six months,
or they gave them a lookalike placebo pill, which is inactive.
The lookalike placebo pill did nothing for their brain. You
wouldn't expect it to, but the rest Virtual had a
profound effect. It was restoring circulation and this really affected

(03:31):
parts of the brain that shrink as we age. Sadly,
these parts of the brain are involved with storing memory
and forming memory and organizing memory, like the hippocampus. When
you learn something new, like you know your son bought
a new car, or your neighbor the new granddaughter. Okay,

(03:53):
that info gets stored in the hippocampus. That's where your
memory really starts to take place. And with age, the
hippocampus shrinks. And they proved in this study because they
use these high powerful brain imaging technologies like functional MRIs,
and they saw that circulation was getting restored to the brain,

(04:14):
making up for the decline in circulation that occurs with aging.
As we age, the blood vessels that feed the brain,
they're called the crowded arteries in the neck that feed
the brain blood and oxygen and calories and nutrition. They
stiffen and thicken with age, so it's harder for the

(04:35):
heart they pump the blood into the brain, and the
brain suffers, and some people it suffers terribly where they
literally have terrible advanced degeneration of their memory. So but
all of us, the arteries in our neck thicken. It's
hard for blood to flow into the brain and we
lose brain cells and the brain doesn't work well, and

(04:56):
the organs that need this nourishment start to shrink and set.
Like I said, a lot of them have to do
with our memory, like the pari hippocampals and tate gyris
or the inter rental cortex or the hippocampus. They shrink
with age. So when you take the rest ritual, if
you taken off it has to be two hundred milligrams.
Apparently that they get the circulation and they become robust again.

(05:20):
They and they function again because they're connecting with the
other organs and everything becomes coordinated and memory improves. And
that's what they found in this study. They found that
memory was coming back in older people who took rest
ritual for a late time. It didn't happen overnight, it
took time. Of course, you would expect that. So here's
a study from the Journal of Clinical Nutrition, and it's

(05:40):
a very important study. It's called a Reshore study because
in the Reshource study they proved that rest ritual builds
ball And we'll get to that that rest verritual is
great for the heart. We're not going to cover that
today because we I have a limited time. I only
do the first half hour of today's program and then
they go to the news and then doctor Amanda Williams
takes over for the following hour. So this is an

(06:01):
hour and a half program. So in the Reshaw study,
which was a great study published in a great medical journal, Okay,
one hundred and twenty five women were on rest verritrol
every day and one hundred for a year, and one
hundred and twenty five were on an act of placebo
for a year. And I found out, yes, rest viritrol

(06:23):
restored circulation to the brain, placebo did not. And in
those over the age of sixty five, it really restored
their verbal memory, so their brain worked faster. It improved
their cognitive performance, their brain performance by thirty three percent.

(06:45):
That is powerful. So I'm actually taking rest viritrol for
my brain. I know it's good for my heart because
it's good for circulation to my heart, which is something
you need when you're over fifty or sixty, because all
of us have a dec climet circulations to the brain
with age, and all of us have decreased circulation to
the heart with age, so you want to make up

(07:05):
for that. But also I know res viritual is very
powerful for my lung health, making my lungs stronger, because
our lungs age just like our brain age, is just
like our heart ages. But res virtual also builds bone,
and that's what they found in a number of studies
that res virtual builds bone. In fact, that's why NASA

(07:28):
is studying resviritual to give to astronauts in space. There's
no gravity, so without gravity, you lose muscle and bone,
and res virtual helps protect muscle and bone. So on
these long trips like they're planning someday to like SpaceX
wants to send astronauts to Mars, that's going to be
a couple of years round trip, they're gonna lose bone

(07:50):
and muscle. So they're studying nutrients to see, hey, can
we prevent this or can we minimize it? And res
vituals on top of the list for preserving bone. So
when you take resturrat virtual for your brain, you are
also taking rest virtual for your heart and for your
lungs and for your bone. And that's a really, really

(08:12):
really good thing. So I take them with my lunch.
I take several nutrients with my lunch, and rest virtual
is one of them. So and it's two hundred milligrams.
In these studies with the brain, the most effective doses
of rest Virtual is like one hundred and fifty milligram
to two hundred milligram. Now, because we're having the UH

(08:34):
Labor Day Sale, Big Sale Youth Savings, I could talk
about any supplement I want. So I'm going to talk
about supplements that I take that I believe are extremely effective.
They have a robust effect on benefiting especially people over
the age of fifty. Can younger people take them? Yeah?
Do they need them as much? No, unless they're sick,

(08:58):
unless they have a disease like diabetes, then they could
take these supplements when impunity generally, Like I said, talk
to our nutritionis and it's great for their health. It
really benefits their health. And rest Virtual is great for
diabetics because it does have an ability to help protect
their pancreas, it does have an ability to help protect

(09:19):
their kidneys. It's great for their heart, it's great for
their brain. All of these things suffer with diabetes, and
it's great for their lungs. So go to it now.
Krill Krill is something I take every morning with my breakfast.
I take too krill with my breakfast. Now, mind you,
I do eat fish. My wife and I love fish.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
It really varies.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
We don't have any schedule where we force ourselves, you know,
like this is Tuesday, we must eat tuna or we
must eat salmon. Now we're not like that. It's like
when we're in the mood, we make fish. But that
generally works out on average to be one to two
times a week, if not more. There's some weeks when
I have fish four or five times. So, like I said,

(10:07):
there's no rhyme to it, but there's a reason to it.
Because fish is very healthy if you get a healthy fish,
So krill stands in for fish. If you don't want
to eat fish, take the krill oil because krill is
a very pleasant experience because you don't get fishburps and

(10:29):
it's really easy to swallow. And the reason it's easy
to swallow is they can make a much smaller capsule
than official capsule. And why is that Because the fish
oils in krill are well absorbed by humans, better than
the fishiles and fish and better than officials and of
fish oil capsule. The krill has better absorption and the

(10:50):
officials are not damaged. See, when you eat fish, which
is great, or you take a fish oil, which is
also great. Some of the ficioles are damaged by our
digestive juices, and this decreases the amount of absorption you
get from like official capsule in krill, the fisshalls are
attached to something called phosphatides, which actually has benefits, but

(11:13):
it also has the activity of blocking damage to the
fissuols by our digestive juices, so you absorb more of
them more efficiently in a working manner, in a non
damaged manner, in a functional manner. But it's also that
the fiiciaws are tested to phosphatides, which is one of
the reasons why it's great for you bring when fissiles

(11:36):
are attached to phosphatides. They're great for lowering your tregeless rides,
which is a kind of fat that's very dangerous for
the liver and the heart, or it can cause a
stroke if it's too high. They're very good for the
liver in general, cleaning fats out of the liver. They're
very good for your muscles and coordination imbalance. They're amazing,

(11:57):
amazing for your brain because that's what your brain is
made out of. It's made out of mostly fissials and
phosphatides and coaline, and all of these are in the krill,
and all of these will make it to your brain.
So I know krill lowers dangerous blood fats and my arteries.
That's a good thing. I know krill is great for

(12:18):
my liver. That's a good thing because my liver has
a lot of jobs, Like liver has to remove toxins
out of the body, and if deliver is flooded with fats,
it can't do that. So by taking the krill, it
cleanses the liver in my body and helps it rejuvenate.
And this is better at getting toxins out of my body.

(12:39):
I know krill is great for my heart. Fish oils,
when they're delivered appropriately, help prevent sudden cardiac death and
strokes and heart attacks. So when I take the krill,
I'm lowering my risk of sudden cardiac death and heart
attacks and strokes. I like that. That's a really good thing.
But I'm really taking it from my brain because the

(12:59):
brain is made out of the stuff and krill mostly protein.
When you eat protein, a lot of proteins used to
make the brain, like collagen, and when you take krill.
All of those ingredients are made are used to make
your brain, and they've shown that the brain is sharper
when you take krill oil supplements. It functions better. It's

(13:19):
very good for your mood. It helps you create new
healthy brain cells, which is amazing. We never knew this,
like ten fifteen years ago, that you can create new
memory cells, but now we know it can. But you
have to give the brain the ingredients that requires to
make these new healthy brain cells, and krill does that.
Krill will give your brain the phosphatitle colin, the phosphatyle ethanolomy,

(13:43):
the phosphatyle cereine, the phosphatyle nocetol, the phosphatyitle coaling, the colin,
and the fissuels that make like like a huge amount
of brain. This makes a huge amount, and it is
especially important to the parts of the brain that figure
out where you are internal GPS and if you're standing
or sitting or moving or remembering and learning and studying

(14:08):
and paying attention and focusing. All of these things are
dependent on the ingredients in krill because krill makes the
parts of the brain where these things happen. So krill
is great for your heart. Krill is great for your liver.
Krill is good for your muscles. Krill is actually good
for your bones because you need fishiels to build a bone.
Believe it or not, but krill is also fantastic for

(14:29):
your brain and memory. And it's even good for your
eyes because these fats are required for your eyes to
see clearly. Okay, I have to go to a break.
We're having our Labor Day sale. All the Invite products,

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Okay, welcome back, Jerry here can you Invite Health? Like
I said. At the end of this half hour, they
go into news and doctor Amanda Williams comes on. What
really great informations, very interesting. It's very very smart, very smart,
unbelievably smart. This program is all about disseminating sharing good
quality information on nutrition and nutritional supplements and food and exercise.

(16:23):
We worked Devin, so we have the nutritis on hand
that you can talk to and make this specific for you.
You could come up with your own program and check
in from time to time with these nutritionists. You'll become
friendly with one nutritionists, no down and check in with
them and say, hey, you know any modifications here? What
do I do? Something new is happening in my life?

(16:44):
You know, do I subtract, do I add? What do
I do with these nutrients? So that's a good thing.
That's why Invite has doctors and nutritionists on hand for
you to speak to. Now, we're having the Labor Day sale.
You just heard the ad. It's on all week obviously
until Labor Day, so you know, figure what you need.
Ubiquin woll or you be green wall. You can pronounce

(17:05):
it either way. It's the active version of Cohenson Q ten,
So that tells you something regular COQ ten and the
store is not active. It's the ubiqu when all that's
active that matters for segments of the population, large segments
of the population. People with diabetes have a real difficult

(17:27):
time activating COQ ten, so they're not getting as much
out of it as they should be. So diabetics need
to use ubiquin WOL. So if you're a diabetic and
you're using coq ten, use up what you have and
switch to ubiquin wol. But you could buy it from
us this sweek. This is a real ubiquin wool made
in Texas. It's not made in China. Most coqu tens

(17:48):
are made in China. Are ubiquinos made in Texas. You
could buy our ubiquin wool and when you run out
of your coqu ten, switch to it, and you gotta
feel a lot better because it has dynamic effects on diabetics.
It's for their kidneys, it's good for their heart, it's
great for their brain, their eyes, their muscle endurance. But
it's great for their energy. And it even helps protect

(18:10):
a nerve tissue because diabetics, you are probably getting nerve damage.
So I urge all diabetics to if you're taking coke
u ten, switch to you. Bickwe all. Now, if you're
a cardiologist or medical doctor, put it on them. It's
only right that you discuss it with your health care provider.
You know, don't just switch on your own. I mean, say, listen,
I heard this guy Jerry Hicky, and I just want

(18:32):
to tell you because it's the right thing to do.
I'm going to switch to you bick one all, but
I do say if you're diabetic or even pre diabetic,
this is the way to go. Now, what's the other
large contingent of people who should be on you bickwin all.
Basically anybody over fifty. If you're using coke ten and

(18:53):
you're fifty, you're really not getting as much out of
it as you used to because every year you lose
some ability to convert coke you ten into ubiquin all
and this could really start to affect your endurance, your
performance in every way, and your energy. But eventually it's
going to affect your heart and we'll get into that.

(19:17):
So I actually take two hundred and forty milligrams of
ubiquin oal every morning at my breakfast. And there's a
reason for that. There's heart attacks in my family. I
would rather not have a heart attack. So if you're reversing,
if you're restoring the ability to convert food into energy

(19:41):
and making it easier for the heart to beat, that's
literally making your heart biologically younger. Young hearts don't have
heart attacks. My father died of a massive heart attack.
God bless his soul. He's a wonderful man. People loved him.
And my older brother has already had three heart art attacks.

(20:01):
I have not. I do very strenuous things with no
chest pain. I've been to a cardiologist to get checked out.
I'm fine. So here's what ubiquin ol does. So older people,
people over fifty should really start thinking about switching to ubiquinal.
People over sixty definitely should switch to ubiquinal from coke

(20:23):
U ten. They really should because they're not converting the
coqu ten to ubiquinal that wall. Plus they're on drugs
that take you biquin all out of your body. Like
when you're on a statin drug, it reduces your ubiquinol activity.
So if you're on a staaten like Receeuvastaaten said, the
statin a twelve of statin that needles, you need to

(20:45):
be on ubiquinal. You need to be on fiicials and
ubiquinal because krill krill, you need to be on krill
and ubiquenal. Because these statins take fissials out of your body,
and the statins take ubiquin all out of your body,
you need to put them back in. You really need
to put them back in. So ubiq one wall allows
you to convert food into energy, and there were a

(21:09):
bunch of studies on ubique wall restoring energy and people
with heart disease and people with heart failure and people
who are aging. Yeah, just like me, a guy like me,
Like I'll be seventy two in February, So that's really
a blink of an eye. I know it sounds like
it's a long time, but it's not. And yeah, my energy,

(21:32):
I have to admit, is probably not what it was
when I was eighteen. I doubt that I could keep
up with an eighteen year old on a basketball court.
I don't even want to try. I'll just asking a
pist to ball to me and I'll just shoot. But
ubique Wall, for me, brings back levels of energy that

(21:52):
I wouldn't otherwise have because I'm not as efficient as
converting food into energy as I used to be. It's
just a part of growing older. It's just a part
of the way it is. I mean, people who are
fifty don't make energy as efficiently out of food as

(22:13):
people in their twenties and thirties. It's just the way
it is. So for a person in their fifty sixty seventies, eighties, nineties.
Ubiqwen Wall helps get rid of fatigue. It really does
a whole bunch of human clinical trials provingness that you
just take ubickwin All and gets rid of fatigue. You
have to take it with food and it's absorbed manyfold

(22:33):
better than coke ten. It's really absorbed well, and you'll
start to see an improvement in your energy and a
decline and fatigue, and you're going to want to go
outside and be active and see your friends and do
things because it's great. It'll get you off the couch. Now,
the other thing about you bickwen Woll is it's great
for your muscles. That's why sometimes athletes take you bickmen All,

(22:54):
even young athletes that improves their their physical function and
their performance. Do they need They don't have to have it,
but it does increase their physical performance a little bit.
But in older people, it's very good for us stamina
and endurance and physical performance, and it's great for our heart.
And that's where I want to go with this. Your
heart is pumping blood typically over one hundred thousand times

(23:18):
a day, and a heart at the age of fifty
is not as efficient as a heart at the age
of thirty typically, and a heart at the age of
seventy is not as efficient at pumping blood, which is
its primary job as a heart that's in its fifties.
So when you take and that's because the ubiquinal activity

(23:42):
declines greatly in the heart as we grow older. They
could be like a seventy five percent decline and ubiquin
all activity and the membranes of the heart muscle as
you grow older a certain parts of the heart. That
really is a profound effect because if the heart has
to pump one hundred thousand times a day plus and
it's not as good as converting food into energy, the

(24:04):
heart's going to be stressed out. And if the heart
gets stressed out, it could start beating improperly, which is
called an arrhythmia, and this could throw off a clot,
it could be a stroke, or this can lead to
a heart attack or even sudden cardiac death. So there's
a bunch of studies now when you raise ubique all
levels in the heart of people with damaged hearts, they

(24:27):
survive better, they have fewer heart attacks, less time in
the hospital emergency rooms and intensive care. And they've shown
in older people, their survival is better, and their energy
is better, and their overall life is better when they
do you bique. There's a whole bunch of studies provingness,

(24:50):
so I don't think you have to do as much
as me. I do two hundred and forty milligrams every
morning with breakfast because I want to make my heart
a lot younger and more efficient. Because there's heart attacks
that run in my family. I know this for a fact,
So I want my heart. So I'm seventy one, I
want my heart to be like forty and that's what
I'm doing by taking ubiquin all So I strongly recommend

(25:13):
it for older people, I really do, and for diabetics now,
but you know, most people will do fine with one
hundred and twenty milligrams once a day with breakfast. Like
I said, because there's heart attacks in the family, I
take more. Now I'm sharing a lot of info with you.
It's our Labor Day sale. You buy two of any
invite product like to ubiquinoal or too Krill or too

(25:37):

the Labor Day sale and get on board with these
superior quality, very clean, skillfully made supplements that everything in
the bottle is on the label, and everything on the
label is in the bottle. Now Bier curcumin five oxen

(26:24):
I take that. It's two herbs, turmeric and Boswellia. Boswellia
is also known as Frankinson's that are great for inflammation
because inflammation increases in the heart and in the brain
and in the pancreas and in the kidneys and then
the muscles and in the blood vessels with age, and
this stuff pushes back on inflammation and it's a great antioxidant.

(26:45):
But it's also great for aches and pains. If you
have nerve pain, it can be helpful if you have
muscle pain. It's amazing, like like you know, We have
all the people that are dancers, that are dance instructors,
et cetera, and they put their body through way too
much stress, and they take the Biocurcumin five blocks and
every day gets read of their muscle pain. Like when
they wake up in the morning, their knees are and stiff,

(27:06):
their deck doesn't hurt, their back feels good. We have
a ton of people taking this for back pain. It's
really effective for back pain. I we have a ton
of people taking it for arthritis, like arthritis in the
thumb or the shoulder, or the knee or the hip.
Is a very good supplements. I take it for the
brain because biocurcumin five blocks and reduces inflammation in the brain.

(27:28):
That's an antioxidant in the brain, but it helps the
brain create new memory cells. When you go to sleep
at night and you go into deep sleep, you go
into these stages where you create new memory cells. The
biocurcumen five different human clinical trials improves the creation of
memory cells and older people. It does this by stimulating

(27:49):
the release of nerve growth factors like brain derived neurotrophic
factor BDNF. And when you release these things when you're asleep.
That helps you convert stromal stem cells in to functioning
memory cells. And the beauty of these functioning memory cells.
They haven't been tainted by memory loss or depression, so
your mood can lift and your memory can improve. Okay,

(28:11):
I have to leave. Then Doctor Amanda Williams will be
on for the next hour and she gives great info.
So listen up. We're having our Labor Day sale. Take advantage.

have such wonderful news to share with everyone, and that
is that our Labor Day, buy one, get one free
sale is on. So you have the opportunity to take
advantage of every single product in the Invite hel product

(30:02):
line being on a buy one, get one f resale

on all of your favorites like Biocurcumin five locks and
your l car with Ala all of those products are
on a buy one, get one free sale. So if
you are looking for an alternative to using things like

(30:23):
ibuprofen and thailanol and advil throughout the day for your
sore achey joints, or maybe you have back pain, then
you want to be stocking up on your Biocurcumin five locks.
And we know that that combination of that BCM ninety
five that's a registered trademark high absorption biokirk so it's
a kercuminoid blend. It's actually the oils that come from

(30:47):
the tumoric root itself, so such a unique and effective
that's most important. It's highly effective formulation. Is our top
rated product, and when people start to use it, they
are absolutely astonished by how quickly it begins to work
and just the true benefit that they get from that product.

(31:09):
And then the fact that it's partnered up with five
locks in which is a high absorption Boswelia extract, so
that in and of itself is wonderful to target inflammation
and pain and wonderful for your respiratory function. So across
the board, Biokirkman five locks and is a go to.
I encourage you all to make sure that you have

(31:31):
your stockpile of that because you never know when you
get sort achey joint or sort achey back. You want
to be able to turn to something that you know
is clinically studied, safe and most importantly effective. And then
you look at a product like the lcar with ala
and that helps to encourage energy production, very beneficial for

(31:54):
metabolism and supporting healthy weight, and of course great for
brain health. It targets the neuroinflammation and neurotoxicity. It's partnered
up with alfalopoic acid, a very powerful antioxidant that fights
off free radicals that can start to accumulate in the body.

(32:14):
So that particular product is a wonderful one to stock
up on during the buy one, get one free.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
Sale as well.

Speaker 6 (32:22):
So so many different formulas that can be utilized for
more than one purpose, and certainly biokurcumin five blocks and
the alcar with ala fall into those categories. So whether
we're looking at, you know, solely for joint health, we're
also going to be yielding the benefit of brain health,

(32:44):
support for healthy cholesterol transport, support for your blood sugar levels,
heart health.

Speaker 5 (32:51):
And beyond.

Speaker 6 (32:52):
So I always say when you're using different dietary supplements
from Invite Health, you're going to yield side benefits as
opposed to prescription medications that we know have side effects.
So it's always a wonderful thing to look at the
science behind these nutrients and how they are actually working
in so many different systems within the body. Now, when

(33:16):
it comes to our buy one getting free sales, I can.

Speaker 4 (33:20):
Talk about whatever I would like to.

Speaker 6 (33:22):
And I oftentimes talk about just basic routine and what
should be included into a basic routine, because I do
think that that's for many people who are into supplementation.
There's just some staples that you know you want to include,
and then maybe you hear us talk about a particular
product on the radio or on one of the podcasts,
and you say, you know what, I'm interested in that too.

(33:45):
Maybe that would be beneficial for whatever my specific need is.
But when it just comes to daily routine, what you
should be doing every single day, having a comprehensive multi
vitamin multimineral is key to this. We have so many
different options when it comes to multi vitamins, and we
can look at the core multi vitamin, we can look

(34:08):
at the women's, the men's, the performance. Of course, we
have the Multi Energy powder as well, that multivitamin multimineral,
but it's also enhanced with nutrients to support sell energy production,
things such as carnatine. So excellent choice for someone who's
like I want to get my day started without taking

(34:28):
you know, pills like capsules or tablets, go ahead and
get yourself the multi energy powder. And oftentimes what I'll
suggest to people is, especially during a buy one get
one free because you get such good savings, is to
get the multi energy powder.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
And even if you're not using that every day.

Speaker 6 (34:44):
Say, for example, you know, usually use our Core Multi
vitamin packets and every morning you take your your packet
of the Core Multi and one day you're you know,
pinched for time running out the door and you say,
oh gosh, you know, I forgot to take my Core
vitamins today. This would be a nice way to incorporate

(35:06):
in the Multi Energy powder. Just take a scoop of that,
add it in with some water, you know, put it
into a cup where you can, you know, shake it
up and head out the door. So that's also a
good way. And some people actually like to change it
up maybe on the weekends they use the multi energy powder.
During the week, they use the packets, so many different options.

(35:27):
But when it comes to selecting a proper multi vitamin
for yourself, first and foremost, you want to make sure
that you are using one of ours, because we know
that those are very powerful. A lot of the junk
that you can find at regular you know, pharmacies, grocery stores,
things along that line not of the highest standard or

(35:50):
quality and potency.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
So we know that.

Speaker 6 (35:54):
You know, many Americans, I think it's estimated about seventy
percent of Americans over the age of sixty take a
daily multivitamin. Unfortunately, out of that seventy percent of Americans
taking a daily multivitamin, they are using the garbage variety.
And that's a big problem because the reason why people
are using it is because they're concerned, Hey, I'm getting older,

(36:15):
maybe my.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
Diet isn't the best.

Speaker 6 (36:17):
I have concerns because amount all these different medications, whatever
be the case. Generally speaking, as people get older, they
have more concerns about what can I do to keep
healthy And for most people, the first step is, let
me take a multi vitamin.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
Maybe that'll be the right thing.

Speaker 6 (36:35):
But if you're using a very powerful multivitamin, you're gonna
be gaining all of these important benefits from that.

Speaker 4 (36:45):
So using our.

Speaker 6 (36:47):
Core multi viam our performance multi vitamin, for example, this
is going to enhance not only the health of let's
just say your circulatory system and your neurological system, so
for cognitive function, but also for the support of eyehealth
and for detoxification every single day because you get the

(37:08):
bioactive forms of those B vitamins. You're not going to
get that in a standard multi vitamin. These are important
things to recognize. We know that through evidence based research,
having any type of a deficiency when it comes to
vitamins and minerals can impact your system in such a

(37:31):
harmful and negative way because those vitamins and minerals are
cofactors for different enzymes that are found throughout the body.
Those enzymes are required when it comes to protecting your
body from damage, so we think about ox stative stress
for example. So if we have any type of a

(37:54):
vitamin or a mineral deficiency, then you better bet that
we are creating in balances when it comes to those
enzyme processes. Hence taking a good multi vitamin. So when
you're using our core the performance men's, women's, whichever you

(38:14):
choose to take on a daily basis. You know that
you're getting these high absorption vitamins and minerals. You're getting
the bioactive B vitamins, you're getting the full spectrum natural
vitamin E, including those Toka trianols, very beneficial for cardiovascular health,
targeting cholesterol, making sure your cholesterol doesn't become dangerous.

Speaker 4 (38:35):
So we look at these things and.

Speaker 6 (38:37):
We say, okay, well this is definitely, you know, important
that I include these. We look at the minerals, we say, well,
I know that these minerals, say, they obviously play an
important role for my heart health, for my brain health.
But are all minerals created the same, No, certainly not.
We have to make sure that those minerals are protected

(38:58):
through the digestive process. So hence we use these keylated
minerals so they're going to absorb and be taken into
the bloodstream so they can be used effectively. All of
these things matter. At the end of the day. The
goal is to age gracefully, and we know that there
are so many different factors that can be linked to

(39:19):
age related diseases in premature aging, one of which is,
you know, any type of lack of vitamin and mineral
exposure throughout the day, So you want to be taking
a multi vitamin multimineral complex that is actually going to work.
We want to be able to absorb the nutrients that
we are taking in hence, this is why we use

(39:41):
the forms that we use. We are using the bioactive folate,
the bioactive B twelve. This is very key to the
way our body detoxifies every single day. This is important
for regulation of the cardiovascular system, making sure we're not
getting vascular inflammation. We know that those B vitamins are

(40:05):
very important for neurotransmitter production. So even for the support
of our mood, if you deal with issues with low
mood or anxiety, taking those bioactive B vitamins certainly very beneficial.
I actually have a lot of folks who I work
with where they're taking maybe our core multivitamin or the
performance multivitamin, but I will add in the addition of

(40:28):
methyl B so taking even more of the bioactive B
vitamins to help regulate a particular mood issue that they're
dealing with. Maybe it's depression, maybe it's anxiety. So adding
in one capsule of methyl B on top of what
you're taking with the core multivitamin or the Performance multivitamin.
Very good idea, but we have to always look at

(40:51):
what is contained. You know, why is it that we
have this broad spectrum of nutrients within our multi vitamins, Well,
because we understand the science of those in how they're
actually working. We have to be cognizant of the fact that,
first and foremost most people, just diet alone is never

(41:13):
going to yield you what you need, especially if you
are not following a healthy diet, if you know, are
still trending towards, you know, consuming the standard American diet,
or maybe you do try to eat as healthy as
you possibly can and try to select organic when possible,
but you still have days throughout the week where you

(41:34):
know you probably didn't make the best choices. So we
look at all of our multis and we say, well,
we've got all these wonderful you know, carotenoids in here,
the lutine lycopene xeoxanthin, which we have been able to
show time and time again to be so beneficial when
it comes to eyehealth, but also very beneficial for brain health.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
So you're using this.

Speaker 6 (41:57):
Product, this core multivitamin or the Performance or the Men's
or the women's and you're getting all of these nutrients
that a standard multivitamin that you find down at Walgreens
or CBS is just never going to yield you. And
remember they use the least quality of the starting raw material.
There's no better way for me to put this.

Speaker 4 (42:20):
When we're trying to.

Speaker 6 (42:22):
Replenish or restore vitamins and minerals, the last thing you
want to be doing is using junkie multi vitamin. It's
just it makes no sense. So using ours, we know
we're getting that exposure to things like boron, which is
so important for men's prostate health, so important for bone health.

(42:45):
It has the citrus bioflavonoid complex in this, so we
can help to enhance your body's free radical fighting capacity.

Speaker 4 (42:56):
Has that high areak value.

Speaker 6 (42:58):
To go through and find those for radicals that drive
up oxidative stress and do damage at that cell level.
So in using any of our multivitamins, you're getting off this,
you're getting that full eye spectrum support with all those
powerful crot nooids. You're getting the natural vitamin E, the
token trianols to support cardiovascular health, and we're getting that

(43:20):
full spectrum of minerals as well as vitamins to help
with the regulation of just every day functions in the body,
including blood sugar regulation, blood pressure regulation, cholesterol management, brain health.
So we always want to be on top of our
daily routine and the first place that we always want

(43:41):
to start with is our multi vitamin choice. Which multi
vitamin is going to give you the most support based
on your specific needs. This is when you want to
talk to one of our nutritional experts. You can stop
by one of the store locations during the same you
can certainly, you know, give us a call. You can

(44:04):
email us and say, you know, I was looking at
your multivitamins. I see the performance multivitamin. I'm looking at
the men's multi vitamin. What's the difference between the two?
Which one is best suited for what my health goal is?
And we will help to navigate you towards that right product,
because remember, you're investing in your health, so you want
to make sure that the product that you're using is

(44:26):
going to be the best and most supportive product for
your needs.

Speaker 4 (44:29):
So do keep that in mind. That's why we have
our free service with our nutritional experts.

Speaker 6 (44:35):
So I'm going to tell you more about just a
standard routine that you should do on a daily basis,
which of course we know starts with that multi vitamin,
and we've got many options for you to choose from,
and then there's other nutrients that we always have to
include in every day. So I'm going to talk about that,
but I do need to take a quick break, so
I will be right back just after this.

am doctor Amanda Williams Scientific Invite and we are having
our Labor Day Buy one, get one free sale talking
about the multi vitamin options that we have available for you.

(46:09):
This should always be the standard starting place for any
supplementation routine. Have that wonderful blend of all of those
key vitamins and minerals, have the bioactive B vitamins in
that selenium. And this is key because the delivery system
within our multi vitamin is very unique, and we have

(46:30):
a liquid filled capsule that's contained in all of our
multi packets. Within that liquid filled capsule, this contains your
natural vitamin E including the Toka triangle. It has your
other fat soluble vitamin which is your Vitamin A. And
then you have that I support Brain support blend with

(46:52):
all the powerful carotenoids, and then it contains selenium. Selenium
is very important when it comes to a healthy inflammatory
response in the body. So whenever we're thinking about an
inflammatory response, we always have to default back to the
immune system. The immune system is what regulates inflammation in

(47:13):
the body. So by having this really wonderfully delivered selenium
in our multivitamins, this helps to promote brain health and
immune health and cardiovascular health. Certainly, we know the benefit
of selenium when it comes to proper cell division and

(47:34):
for men for prostate health. So we have this very
unique way in which we put the selenium into our multivitamin.
It's in that liquid capsule. This is what makes us unique.
You can't go into CVS, you can't go into Walgreens
and buy the standard multivitamin that has liquid filled capsule

(47:55):
with selenium. You're not going to find it. You may
not even find that sel is in their multivitamins. So
quality matters and your health matters. Like I always say,
you're investing in your own health, don't cut corners. But
there's other you know, interesting minerals we can look at,
like molybdenum for example.

Speaker 4 (48:15):
A lot of times we focus on you know the
main minerals.

Speaker 6 (48:18):
We think about magnesium and zinc, and you know, potassium
and phosphorism, but we cannot overlook things like molybdenum. And
we know that molibdenum is very important when it comes
to the way that our body detoxifies, for example, so
it's required for many different enzyme functions or activities in

(48:39):
the body. So by having the full spectrum of all
of these very important minerals, this really helps to enhance
everyday functionality, which is why when people are using our
Core multivitamin or any of our maultis and they have
this as part of the consistent daily routine, they're like,

(49:01):
you know, it's amazing. I always thought I felt pretty
good before, but now that I'm using the multivitamin, like wow,
Like what a huge difference in terms of how I feel.
And I think that this is very very important. I mean,
you can look at some of the different testimonials that
we have on our multi item is just the Core

(49:24):
multi vitamin. You know, this product is excellent. After I
take the Core multivitamin, I feel energetic, I feel healthy,
And I think that that's important that we get these
types of feedback from our customers. Let me pull another
one of these. I immediately saw an increase in energy
level as well as mental alertness. Now, interestingly enough, where

(49:47):
do you think that mental alertness is coming from. We
talk about the importance of those activated B vitamins. I
talked about how we have that liquid delivery system within
our multivitamin for those key carotenoids. Remember, we have to
get those carotenoids for brain health, not only just for
eye health, but also for brain health.

Speaker 4 (50:06):
So we see.

Speaker 6 (50:08):
This and we say, hmm, yeah, if I am concerned
about heart health, I'm concerned about energy, I'm concerned about
you know, my mood, my brain, then yeah, I should
be looking at taking a very comprehensive, complete multivitamin that
is designed in this unique way, and it contains within

(50:28):
that liquid capsule you biquenol. So we have coenzyme Q
ten added right into our multivitamin. And I always, you know,
default back to the fact that we know when it
comes to things that our body needs and requires as
we get older, coenzyme Q ten is essential to this. Now,

(50:49):
keep in mind coq ten comes into forms. This is
oftentimes incredibly confusing for people. Let me try to break
it down.

Speaker 4 (50:58):
Co q ten has a.

Speaker 6 (51:02):
Reduced form known as ubiquinol and a non reduced form
known as ubiquinon. At the end of the day, the
name coq ten is interchangeable between those two. So if
you hear someone say coq ten, they can be referring
to ubiquinone, they can be referring to ubiquinol. When you
are supplementing with your coq ten, we want to be

(51:26):
using the ubiquinyl form. Why do we want to use
ubiquenol Because we know that the ubiquenol already has the
power of its antioxidant ability. When we use ubiquinone, the
body has to convert that. Anytime we have to go
through conversions in the body, sometimes we lose some of

(51:47):
the potency or the effectiveness. So it's just wise to
start off with the direct form. And hence this is
why I always include not only within our multi vitamins,
but on top of taking the multivitamin is also adding
in our coke ten ubiquinal as part of your daily routine.

(52:08):
Because remember, coq ten pretty darn important for so many
different functions in the body for energy production as well
as being a very powerful antioxidant.

Speaker 3 (52:16):
For us.

Speaker 6 (52:18):
So we look at this multi vitamin and you say, okay,
let me just you know, compare this to you know,
one of the ones that you find it at a Walgreens.
You cannot compare the two. You cannot look at one
of those multivitamins and even put them into the same
category as what the core multivitamin or the performance multivitamin.

Speaker 4 (52:41):
Is yielding you. We know this to be the case.
We know that when it.

Speaker 6 (52:46):
Comes to, you know, our intake of vitamins and minerals
just coming from food alone, it is definitely inadequate at best.
I always mention this, even if you are eating organic,
the likelihood that the soil quality, the amount of vitamins
and minerals found in that soil are not what they

(53:07):
once used to be. We have seen this through the years.
Now definitely, if you're not eating organic, that chance is
very very high. You know. With organic, we're trying to
reduce our exposure to pesticides. We are trying to get
the cleanest, highest quality, highest potency amounts of nutrients coming

(53:30):
from the foods that we obtain. So all of these
things are so important and we want to avoid deficiencies.
Hence why we take a multivitamin. We know that there's
so many medications too that people are taking that can
impact your absorption of vitamins and minerals. If you can

(53:51):
be on high blood pressure medication, Diuretics in particular are
notorious for creating nutrient depletions. So if you're on any
type of a prescribed medication, I mean, a multi vitamin
should always be part of a regular routine for you.

Speaker 4 (54:09):
So when it.

Speaker 6 (54:10):
Comes to you know the amount of vitamins and minerals
that are contained within our formulation, oftentimes people say, well,
do I still need to take, you know, additional vitamin D?

Speaker 4 (54:22):
Do I still need to take additional magnesium?

Speaker 6 (54:25):
And the answer, generally, for the most part, is it
really depends on your specific needs. But when it comes
to vitamin D, of course you're going to need additional
vitamin D on top of what the core multi vitamin
or any of our multis are going to yield you.
Why do I say that with such confidence, because the
average American needs anywhere between two thousand and five thousand

(54:45):
international units of vitamin D daily. We are giving you
a high absorption vitamin D in the multi vitamin, but
you're still going to likely require a higher amount. So
that's just the reality, and we don't want to ever
overlook that micronutrient intake in the United States as a

(55:06):
whole is really bad. When we look at the percent
of Americans who fail to meet just the bare minimum
requirement of certain vitamins and minerals every day, it is

(55:26):
alarming just to hit the bare mineral And keep in
mind when they set the you know, daily intake amount,
that's already at a subpar level to start with. You know,
I believe for adults, for you know, vitamin D intake

(55:50):
for the day, it's like eight hundred international units. I mean,
that's laughable because we know that the average person's going
to need somewhere between two thousand and five thousand. So
they're just saying just the bare minimum, you need eight
hundred ius. That's alarmingly low. And same thing across you know,
all of the other vitamins and minerals. So when you
look at things like vitamin E for example, Goods seventy

(56:13):
percent of Americans fail to meet the daily requirement of
vitamin E every day.

Speaker 4 (56:19):
Vitamin D seventy five.

Speaker 6 (56:21):
Percent of Americans fail to meet the daily requirement.

Speaker 4 (56:27):
So of course, we know that we need to.

Speaker 6 (56:30):
Be using a complete, comprehensive, high potent multi vitamin multimineral
each day. But then we have to look at well,
do we still need an addition? Do we still need
an addition magnesium supplementation each day? Do we need additional
vitamin D each day? I had mentioned if someone's dealing
with problems with mood issues, you know, anxiety, then adding

(56:53):
in additional activated B vitamins with the use of the
methyl B formulation for example. But what we have done
at Invite Health through the years is we have been
able to achieve this design of a better multi vitamin.
This is of the highest quality. When you look at
the popular multi vitamins that are made by pharmaceutical companies,

(57:16):
I always like to stress that they are made by
pharmaceutical companies. They pharmaceutical companies are not in the business
for giving a hoot about vitamins, but they jump into
it because there's a lot of money for them to
do this. I would say they start off with the
least quality raw material. They put corn starch, talk artificial

(57:39):
colors into their multie. They use synthetic vitamin E. It's
a horrible state of affairs. But Invite Health is based
on the science and based on the research, which is
why we have designed these basically and in my opinion,
the best multi vitamin anyone can possibly take, because we

(58:03):
have that liquid capsule that's providing you the ability to
properly absorb that selenium, to properly absorb your vitamin A,
the natural vitamin E. We're not using synthetic. We would
never use synthetic. The fact that there are companies that
are allowed to still use synthetic vitamin E is beyond me.

(58:26):
I don't understand that. But you look at ours compared
to the things that you find at CBS and Walgreens,
you cannot compare the labels. Is just absolutely no comparison.
These are all important to your overall health. So if
you're not taking maybe you're listening right now, you say, well,
you know, I use Invite Health Krill Oil Advanced, and

(58:51):
I use invite Heal's biokircubin five locks. And but my
multi vitamin, yeah, I actually get that from Costco or
I get that from Walgreens. I want you to look
at the label and I want you to really analyze
what's in that multi vitamin and then I want you
to look at the Invite Health label and I want
you to go through and even try and draw comparison

(59:12):
because you can't. And I always say, you're investing into
your health, don't make shortcuts when it comes to your
supplements that you were putting into your body.

Speaker 4 (59:23):
Do not make that mistake.

Speaker 6 (59:25):
And I've worked with so many people through the years
where they have done that unfortunately, and it doesn't yield
you any benefit. So many options when it comes to multivitamins.
I'm going to talk about Krill oil because oftentimes when
I'm working with people and I say what do you
take every day and they kind of go through their
daily supplementation routine, It's amazing to me how many people

(59:48):
are still not including in a good, comprehensive Omega three
fatty acid as part of a daily supplementation routine.

Speaker 4 (59:54):
So I want to break.

Speaker 6 (59:55):
Down some of the options that you have available at
Invite Health Health when it comes to Omega threes and
the difference between the different Omega threes that we offer.
So I will tell you about that on the flip
side of this break. We will be right back.

Speaker 3 (01:00:11):
Hi.

This is the time for you to stock up on

(01:01:23):
all of your favorites or try something new.

Speaker 4 (01:01:26):
Remember, we do like.

Speaker 6 (01:01:27):
The Vitality Plus which is our new vitamin c's that
we have. So remember we have the beadlet, which is
a five hundred milligram sustained release, such a unique delivery system.
So not only is the packaging really cool with this product,
it's they're clear capsules with small, tiny vitamin C ascorbic

(01:01:50):
acid beadlets.

Speaker 4 (01:01:51):
But it's just it's such.

Speaker 6 (01:01:53):
A wonderful way to get a nice, steady state of
vitamin C going in to your system. And then we
have the Vitality Plus gummy, so that is a wonderful
option for you as well, and that also has a
blend combined with the ascorbic acid in that one that

(01:02:13):
has additional vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. It's a really good
one to consider if you have little ones that are
going to be going back to school soon, just to
help to enhance the immune defenses, the Vitamin C gummy
would be something to stock up on. And across the board,
you know, maybe you work on an office building and

(01:02:34):
you know fall is right around the corner, so it
would be advantageous to make sure that you are starting
to zero in on your immune system. So that's the
Vitality plus gummy. Then we have the Vitality plus beadlet.
Can you take both? Of course you can. This is
one of those times that just inquire with one of
our nutritional advisors and they can give you the best

(01:02:57):
practices as to how to get the most out of
the supplements that you are taking from us. So I
had talked about the multivitamins, y quality multivitamins matter, and
why when you're using the Invite Health formulations you can
resissure that you are getting this powerful blend. We have
that liquid filled capsule and all of our multivitamins that

(01:03:19):
is providing you with that natural vitamin E, including the
tokatrianol blend. You get that powerful selenium. We know selenium
is so important for your immune system and for inflammation,
and this the vehicle to which we can drive that
selenium into the system using this technology. This liquid technology

(01:03:42):
is really remarkable. And then of course you get the
crotinoid blend in that too. Carotinoid's so good for your
eyeballs but also for your brain. Now I want to
talk about omega three fatty acids because at the end
of the day, if you don't have an omega three
as part of your supplementation routine, we need to settend
off the red flags and say hold up, wait a minute,

(01:04:04):
we need to get on track because we know that
when it comes to your everyday needs, omega three fatty
acids are pretty darn important. And how important are they? Well,
they're actually essential. There are essential fatty acids. We know

(01:04:27):
that through dietary intake we will never come close to
getting the amount that we need to help regulate inflammation
every single day in the body. You just are likely
not to obtain enough fatty fish in your diet, or
maybe you're not consuming enough you know, healthy things like
seeds and nuts in your diet. When you look at

(01:04:50):
your fatty acid levels in the blood, I always go
back to this, It should be a ratio between the
omega six fatty acids, which are also a essential, and
the omega threes.

Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
It should be at like a two to one ratio.

Speaker 6 (01:05:05):
Unfortunately, most Americans are like a twenty one, meaning you've
got all of these omega sixes and hardly any omega three.
Hence inflammaging accelerated aging because we don't have enough omega
three fatty acids.

Speaker 4 (01:05:21):
So we know that there are.

Speaker 6 (01:05:22):
Tens of thousands at this point in time published studies
on the benefits of omega three fatty acids.

Speaker 4 (01:05:30):
We know that initially.

Speaker 6 (01:05:31):
Omega threes were really kind of zeroed in on cardiovascular health,
but then they started to look and they said, wait,
you know, omega threes, they're pretty darn important to maintain
the volume of our brain as we get older. We
don't want our brains to shrink. The average Americans brain
will shrink over time because they don't have enough of
this important fat. You look at someone who adheres to
a Mediterranean diet, and you look at a brain scan

(01:05:54):
of that individual, and you look at someone who you
know has been eating high processed foods andard American diet,
their brain is shrinking. Person eating healthy their brain volume maintains.
So we know that we need to have omega three
fatty acids to preserve our brain, to preserve the brain size,

(01:06:16):
to support brain function, memory, and of course to regulate
inflammation in the body. And this is not just inflammation
within the cardiovascar system. Keep in mind omega threes are
pretty darn important when it comes to your bone health too,
because if you think that oxidative stress and chronic inflammation

(01:06:36):
doesn't eat away at your bones, you are kidding yourself.
So you have to have omega threes to maintain bone density. Now,
you tell me the last time you went to your
doctor and they said, hey, we're concerned that you may
be losing bone mass. You need to take some Omega
three fatty acids. They're not going to say it because
they don't know it. And that's just the reality of it.

(01:06:58):
Unless you're seeing a functional doctor, and there's not many
functional medicine doctors out there. Unfortunately, most primary doctors are
still telling people bad information of hey, take twelve hundred
milligrams of calcium per day and take about I don't know,
four hundred. I use a vitamin D and you're all set.
That doesn't make sense. They're telling you to take way.

Speaker 4 (01:07:17):
Too much calcium. And the calcium that people are taking
is not.

Speaker 6 (01:07:21):
Of a good absorption. It's like taking sidewalk chalk. Then
you take way too much. The body can really technically
only absorb about five hundred milligrams at any given time.
The average person needs roughly twelve hundred to fifteen hundred
milligrams of calcium for the day. But we have to
include within that number how much is coming in from

(01:07:42):
dietary intake. Now, knowing that most Americans don't eat enough
green leafy vegetables, we can kind of, you know, default
and say, yeah, you're probably not getting too much when
it comes to calcium intake from your diet. But nonetheless,
omega threes make a huge difference in how your bones age.

(01:08:02):
So omega threes, I don't want people to get it
in their head it's oh it's just for heart health,
or oh it's just for brain health. It's important for
your bone health too. It's important for every single system
in the body. But there's different types of omega threes.
So when we're looking at, you know, how should I
supplement with an omega three fatty acid? Should I use
fish oil? Should I use krill oil? Hey, you guys

(01:08:22):
have this product called inflammone which contains green lip muscle.
You have the high ligdan flax. I'm a vegetarian. I
don't want to use, you know, anything that's coming from
an animal. Okay, So then we would be looking at
the high ligdanin flax. So these are some of the
options that you have when it comes to your omega

(01:08:44):
three intake, and each one of them have been studied
individually as to how they provide and yield you these benefits.
At the core of it, we're helping to support all systems.
We know that when it comes to the way that
our body uptake these different varieties of omega threes, this
can occur at different levels and different rates, and we

(01:09:06):
can see, you know, how it is that the omega
three fatty acids from you know, fish oil and kryll
oil are taken into our red blood cells for example.

Speaker 4 (01:09:18):
It occurs at different rates. But at the end of.

Speaker 6 (01:09:21):
The day, we're looking at how those omega threes help
to create this better ratio or this balance between the
omega sixes and the omega threes, and we want to
be able to target that chronic inflammation. So uptake of
omega three fatty acids from fish oil is very good,

(01:09:42):
especially when we're dealing with issues such as elevated triglyphs rides.
So if I have someone who comes to me and
they show me their blood work and they say, oh
my gosh, my triglyphs rides are really really high. My
LDL level looks to be okay, a little bit elevated,
but my triglyphs rides are really high. First and foremost,
we need to change the diet, make sure that we're
getting the right carbal hydrates in because that's usually one
of the main reasons as to why your triglyphs rides

(01:10:03):
are going up in the first place. But we usually
will use high amounts of fish oil. Why because we
want to get a high amount of that EPA and
DHA to really push down those triglyphs rides in a
fast way. Am I saying that krill oil will not
lower triglyphs rides? No, absolutely not. We know crill oil
certainly has been shown to lower triglyphs ride levels as well. However,

(01:10:28):
I find that the higher amount of total omega three,
you're going to yield that from fish oil. So if
we want to have this happen real quick, we're going
to use the fish oil. We know that the krill
oil this you know, absorbs very quickly into the red
blood cell fatty layer of the red blood cell, and
this is very important when we think about uptake into

(01:10:49):
the brain.

Speaker 4 (01:10:50):
So when I'm.

Speaker 6 (01:10:51):
Working with someone who has concerns with, you know, cognitive
function and memory, oftentimes I'll look and say, maybe we'll
go with the euromega supplementation should be of the kryll
oil variety because we get that phospholipid component to it.
We're getting that phosphatidal coaline it's naturally occurring in krill oil,

(01:11:12):
whereas fish oil does not have that. Fish oil higher
total omega three, so higher amount of EPA and DHA,
but it doesn't contain that powerful phospholipid. So that phospholipid
is very critical when it comes to brain function, when
it comes to liver function. So I'm working with someone
who maybe is dealing with some you know, fatty liver disease,

(01:11:35):
concerns with cognitive function, krill oil may be the option
that we want.

Speaker 4 (01:11:39):
To go with. At the end of the day, we
know that omega.

Speaker 6 (01:11:44):
Threes and brain health doesn't matter if we're using fish
oil or the krill oil. Both of them are going
to be very targeted to make sure that our brain
isn't shrinking, and we always want.

Speaker 4 (01:11:52):
To make sure that we are limiting any amount.

Speaker 6 (01:11:55):
Of atrophy of the brain as we get older, because
as the brain shrinks, that's good to impact your capacity
to you know, retain and recall memory, and we're going
to start to see some cognitive decline. Then we start
to have some you know risk for mood issues. Maybe
now this is impacting your sleep, which is now leading

(01:12:16):
to you know, depression or anxiety.

Speaker 4 (01:12:18):
We don't want any of these things to to occur.

Speaker 3 (01:12:21):
One of the.

Speaker 6 (01:12:22):
Interesting things about krill oil that I found many years
ago working with with people is those who had a
lot of arthritis, in particular, if they complained a lot
about you know, arthritis in the hands or you know,
carpal tunnel even syndrome. I found that when they used

(01:12:44):
krill oil, that that krill absorption rate and the delivery
system to which you know, krill is taken in in
the system, it seemed to create a much quicker resolution
to their flammation and discomfort as opposed to to fish oil.
Fish oil of course we'll do this too, but it

(01:13:06):
kind of goes back to like the whole triglyst right thing.
Fish oil will lower the triglist rides faster than krill.
Krill oil will likely take away the discomfort and inflammation
faster when we're looking at small joints. So just food
for thought, because someone may be listening and saying, you know,
I get a lot of you know, kind of arthritic
pain within my hand. Then I will say, you know what,

(01:13:28):
maybe considered adding in that krill oil. And we can
also look at green lip muscle because green lip muscles
also very powerful when it comes to targeting a lot
of that joint based inflammation. Green lip muscle is also
very good for respiratory inflammation. So for those who have
chronic bronchitis or any type of a respiratory issue, looking

(01:13:50):
at that green lip muscle found in the inflammune formulation
is a really good option as well. Now what's interesting
with the inflammune is this is a two parts Omega
three fatty acid because the green lip muscle itself is
yielding you the omega three fatty acids, but it also
contains perilla extract, and that perilla seed extract is a

(01:14:12):
vegetarian based omega three. So you're getting the EPA and
the dha coming from the green limp muscle, and then
we are getting the ala coming from the perilla extract.
So when people are using the inflammune formulation. You get
like this trifecta of omega three. So it's like super

(01:14:35):
great for you know, the immune system response and for
respiratory health and regulating inflammation within the respiratory airways. But
it's also really good just for cardiovascular health, for joint health,
for brain health. Whose we're using those three different omega threes,
So so many different options.

Speaker 4 (01:14:54):
And if you're confused as to like which one, I
don't know, they all sound good. Which one should I use?

Speaker 6 (01:15:00):
Reach out to us, you know, stop by one of

I'm always open to ideas of what people want to
hear about or learn about.

Speaker 4 (01:17:52):
But we have our.

Speaker 6 (01:17:53):
Podcasts, we have so many different ways for you to
you know, have access to this information about all the
science behind these different nutrients, and I had mentioned the
importance of ubiquenol and why coq ten supplementation should be
part of your daily routine. We know that coq ten
is far beyond what we had ever imagined when they

(01:18:15):
first kind of stumbled upon it accidentally back in the
nineteen fifties, which is crazy because I mean, this has
been in the human body since humans have existed, But
it wasn't until the nineteen fifties that they actually were like,
what the heck is this molecule? And they found it
in animal hearts initially, and they're like, what is this
in this in cow hearts?

Speaker 4 (01:18:35):
They're like, hey, I wonder if.

Speaker 6 (01:18:36):
If humans have this too, And so through the research
they were like, oh, this is like a primary way
to which the heart.

Speaker 4 (01:18:44):
Is actually making energy every single day.

Speaker 6 (01:18:46):
This is part of why the heart has the ability
to beat and to pump out blood. So through this
discovery they have now realized this very important molecule that
is made in the human body. But unfortunately, through our
aging process, our manufacturing of that can start to diminish.

(01:19:06):
Now they've been able to like zero in on coenz
im q ten and pretty much every single cell in
the body so they can see that co q ten
supplementation with ubiquital can be beneficial for metabolic syndrome and
blood sugar regulation, certainly when it comes to exercise performance,
because when we think about the muscles themselves becoming fatigued

(01:19:29):
and they need to refuel, what is that primary fuel source?

Speaker 4 (01:19:33):
It is coq ten. So we can see how.

Speaker 6 (01:19:37):
Coenz m q ten is far beyond the reachings of
just the cardiovascular system. We can see how it helps
to regulate or mediate inflammation in the body, how important
it is when it comes to detoxification and the support
for the liver, and of course when it comes to
neuronal function and the way that our brain is working.

(01:20:00):
So it not only is an energy producing nutrient, it
is also a very powerful antioxidant. So we have our
ubiquinol formulations. We have the sixty milligram of the Konica
variety and then we have the one hundred and twenty
milligram of the Konica And the reason I mentioned the
Knica is that is the registered trademark form of ubiquenol

(01:20:21):
that we use, and that is the form that is
the most studied out of all cocutens that you can
possibly try The Konica variety is the form that is
the most studied in humans for all of its benefits,
so of course that's the form that we use. So definitely,

(01:20:41):
you know, make sure that you have ubiquenol is part
of your daily supplementation routine because it's so darn important
for every function.

Speaker 4 (01:20:48):
In the body.

Speaker 6 (01:20:49):
And you know, how much do you need? Do you
need the sixty milligram? Do you need the one twenty
Really just kind of depends on your specific needs. If
you're on, you know, medications, if you you know, take
you know, a beta blocker for blood pressure, anything like that.
Of course, the one hundred and twenty milligram along with
that NADH that's contained in that product, that's you know,

(01:21:10):
where you want to be supplementing with. If you're generally
very healthy, you don't take any prescription medications, you're a
fairly healthy diet, the sixty miligram would probably be sufficient.
But when you're not exactly sure, definitely reach out to
one of our nutritional experts and they'll help guide you
on that as far as you know how much you
should be taking for your specific health needs. As you know,

(01:21:32):
I can go on and on when it comes to
the invite Health ubiquhen All formulations, I love to talk
about them. I think that the blend in which we
use for the Ubiquenol one twenty with that NADH is
just a product that, hands down is such a powerhouse
for cardiovascular and brain health. The combo of those two

(01:21:55):
having the NADH power of the nice and or cholesterol
so port hands down partnered with ubiquinl it's just a
really great way to encourage healthy cardiovascular aging process and
just to really get the most out of a co
Q ten formulation. So I can go, as I said,

(01:22:18):
on and on with that one. But another point that
I wanted to bring up, just as far as the
Omega threes, and I know I talked about our Omega
three options with the fish oil and the krill oil.
Remember we use the very unique, uniquely sourced krill that
is a patented form, a registered trademark form and the

(01:22:38):
traceability and the sustainability is second to none. And wonderful
studies on the exact krill oil that we are using
in our formulation. But a fascinating study came out of
King's College that was published in the Alzheimer's Journal Alzheimer's Association.
They were looking at the influence of Omega three fatty acids,

(01:23:02):
and with Alzheimer's disease, there seems to be a higher
tendency for women to have Alzheimer's comparative two men. Now
we're starting to see that gap shrink a little bit,
but women are technically disproportionately impacted by Alzheimer's disease much
more frequently than men. And one of the things that

(01:23:24):
they were analyzing was they're omega three fatty acid levels,
and they saw a significant finding in this that women
with Alzheimer's had very low Omega three fatty acid levels
detected in the blood. So it's just another reason just

(01:23:44):
to show why we emphasize so much having omega three's
as part of your daily routine. We have to understand
that they are essential for a reason. And so if
you're not taking an Omega three right now, and you've
been listening to this radio show all hour, or maybe
you're a long time Invite health supplement user and you

(01:24:08):
take our multivitamin and our bio Kirkman and our alcar
but you're not taking one of our omega threes, I
certainly need to emphasize that you need to include an
Omega three fatty acid into your daily routine and now
is the perfect time to do that during our Labor
Day buy one, get one free sale, so stock up

(01:24:29):
on all of your favorites, try something new like the
