Speaker 2 (00:15):
Welcome to Invite Radio. You're about to receive responsible, life
changing information on health and nutrition. You'll hear from Invite
professionals who are leaders and targeted and anti aging nutrition.
Get ready for tomorrow's Nutritional Science Today right here, right now,
Good morning, Happy Saturday. Welcome to another edition of Invite
Health Radio. I'll be your host. My name is Jerry Hickey.

(00:38):
I'm a pharmacist who is always specialized in nutrition, and
that's what we're going to talk about on this program today.
Supplements that really matter, that are safe, that have benefits
that are predictable, we know the doses to give. I mean,
it's all good. But first a shout out to my flotilla.

(01:00):
I'm hosting our first annual flotilla party for our local
flotilla out here in Eaton's Neck out by Northport and Huntington.
So a lot of my madies are going to be
joining me today from the coast. Go to auxiliary and
that'll be a lot of fun. So I can't wait
to host that party later in the day. One o'clock. Now,

(01:21):
I want to talk about alcohar with ala, which are
two nutrients that are great for the brain and the body,
but they work much better when you put them together.
It's called a synergism. So certain supplements have a benefit,
and if you put two of them together it might
be twice as good. That's called an additive effect. But

(01:44):
this is a synergism. In other words, adding the alcar
to the ala at the same time, taking them at
the same time boosts their benefits five to ten times.
It's so much better. And these really are winter supplements
for older people. I mean, they're as close to perfect

(02:06):
as you can get for older people. So alcohol stands
for acetyll carnitine. Actually it stands for n acetyl ol
cornatine and ALA stands for alphalopoeic acid. And probably the
number one thing I would say, you know people would
be most thrilled about is that the alcohol with ala
gives your brain energy. It gives your brain a lot

(02:29):
of energy, not like coffee. It's not a stimulant like that.
It makes it feel young and really good. And we'll
talk more on this later because it's a really important point.
It's a really important benefit. But a second thing that
alcohol with ALA does redisgributs to your fat to energy.
So if you have a lot of excess fat, like

(02:50):
let's say your belly or your back or something, the
alcohol with ala helps bring that fat into energy, especially
in muscles, so you have this kind of great balance
where you lose about ten pounds of fat and you
gain about ten pounds of muscle. That's a really good
trade when you're older, because you've probably lost ten pounds

(03:12):
of muscle. So just by ticking alcohol with ala, if
you're in your sixties, seventies, eighties, you'll see less fat,
more strength, more energy, and your brain will feel better.
So it supports your muscle, it helps you get rid
of fat, It gives you energy, It gives your brain energy.
So let's talk about the brain energy aspect. Alcohol helps

(03:34):
brain energy in a number of ways, numerous ways. First
of all, it restores brain metabolism, and that's really important.
A lot of researchers, such as in Wild Cornell, call
Alzheimer's diabetes type three or diabetes of the brain because

(03:55):
the brain can no longer use calories for energy, and
when you take the alcohol with ALA, it restores or
reinforces the ability of your brain to use calories for energy.
And this is really good when you're in your sixties
and seventies, where metabolism in the brain is starting to
get sluggish, and maybe you're getting a little absent minded
or forgetful, or maybe a little depressed. All of these

(04:18):
things are related. So the alcohol with ALA very importantly
restores metabolism in their brain. They actually did this wonderful
study for veterans and it was through researches in Arkansas
at the VA in Italy because they had a lot
of brain banks. In Italy, they have the biggest. In

(04:40):
those days, they had the largest brain bank in the world,
you know, where people donate their brains for science and research.
I don't know if that's still true, but in those
days it was true. It's about eight ten years ago,
and they found it. Following they found that normal, healthy,
older brains had a lot of alcohol. People with real
memory loss frank memory loss had a lot less alcore,

(05:03):
and people with Alzheimer's had virtually no alcore. And the
early studies before they started coming out with drugs, because
the drug companies always squash nutrition information. They do, they
step on it. They step on nutrition information because there's
no money in nutrition for drug companies. So the early
studies on alco, like going back ten to twenty years

(05:24):
when they were giving it to Alzheimer's patients, These patients
were doing a lot better mentally and physically. They were
able to address themselves, they were able to find the
lunch room, they were able to sit with their friends
and maybe play a little cards. I mean, it really
made a difference. And there's a lot of data that
alcohol with ALA, especially when you mix them both together,
helps reduce your risk of developing dementia's various dementias. Well,

(05:48):
let's get back to brain energy. So alcohol with ALA
lot of data, a lot of research in humans that
it restores metabolism in the brain. The brain gets more energetic,
but it also increases the available of very important order transmitters.
These are very important splashes of chemicals in the brain
that we release naturally when we're younger, that we have
less of as we grow older. A for instance would

(06:10):
be GABBA and glutamic acid GABA comms the brain. Glutamic
acid energizes the brain, so it helps restore that balance
of energy in the brain where you're not super excited,
but you're not sluggish. You're like where you should be.
You're feeling good, you're you're happy, You're in a good
place now. It also increases the availability of needed of

(06:30):
serotonin and dopamine. So, for instance, if you went into
a dark room, serotonin tells you be careful, you could
get hurt. Move slowly, move cautiously right. Serotonin helps control
your appetite. Serotonin helps control your mood. And dopamine kind
of is a reward thing. You know, when something's good

(06:51):
for you, you release dopamine and it really reinforces in
the brain, hey I should be doing this. But it's
also involved with movement. It's involved with a lot of things.
But here's a really important reason why alcohol is great
for the brain. It directly converts into acetyl coling, which
is the key to memory. So all of the things

(07:14):
here three of the things that alcohol improves besides metabolism.
And improves metabolism, so that's important for memory because the
memory has enough energy to function. So one thing it
applies metabolism a second thing. It supplies gabba, which opens
up the memory banks, opens up the memory cells. It
supplies glutamic acid that allows the energy to push the

(07:37):
memories into the cells, and it converts into acetyl colling,
which is what is needed for you to get the
memory and to recall a memory. So acetyl coling is
a super important transmitter around the body. It's important for
muscle function, it's important for the nervous system. It's really
important in the brain and in the brain. Three of

(07:57):
the things it does. One it allows you to learn.
Two it allows you to remember. So if you meet
somebody new, it's easier to remember their name, and if
you bump into them two weeks later in the supermarket
or something, it's easier to remember who they were and
what their name is. Or if you're reading a book,
it's easier to remember the title of the book, what

(08:18):
are the author? But a setle calling does another thing
too that's really important. At night, when you go to
deep sleep, you have to express a seatle calling and
alcar because this creates new memory cells. See these two nutrients.
The alcar well alcre is a nutrient. A setle calling

(08:39):
is a nerd transmitter. These work together for you to
release growth factors in the brain al car and the
acetyl carnitine acetyle calling excus me calling that it converts
into our miracle growth for you bring their miracle growth
for the memory cells. So you have these orman cells

(09:00):
that can convert into different things strowmols them cells. And
when you have sufficient alcre and sufficient acetyle coling, both
of which normally drop with age. Okay, but when you
take alcore, you get both of them back. You get
the alcore and the acetal coling. When you take the
alcre and you create a setyle coling, you start to

(09:22):
release growth factors like brain derived neurotrophic factor or nerve
growth factor. These stimulate the creation of new memory cells
when you go to sleep at night. Now there's a
very important point to that. It's called cognitive reserve. When
you go to sleep at night, you're supposed to create
new memory cells when you go into periods of deep sleep.

(09:43):
So when you go through the sleep cycle and you
go into deep sleep, you release the alcre and the
accetal coling, both of which are based on alcore, and
it causes the release of these miracle growth factors for
the brain and you create hundreds of new memory cells.
Now here's the important point. These memory cells have not
been touched by depression, and these memory cells have not

(10:05):
been touched by Alzheimer's plaque. So your brain can go
on working even if you have some plaque in your brain.
Your brain will still work if you're going through this
properly and sufficiently because the ability to do this, the
ability to give birth to new memory cells to climse
you with age. When you take the alcohol, you start
to restore that. There's plenty of research on this, and

(10:29):
what happens is your mood will also click up many levels.
So there's studies on dementia with alcohol and ALA because
they work better together. There's studies on mood. Your mood
will definitely click up, not paradoxically. It'll improve your sleep.
It improves your awake When you wake up in the morning,

(10:49):
you're going to feel much more solid about life. You're
going to embrace the day. But you'll also sleep better
because it improves the release of things like gabba to
help you sleep properly. But it's also good for nerve
pain and the two types of nerve pain that it
seems to be the best for is diabetic neuropathy. People

(11:12):
with diabetes get nerve pain and shingles. I've had a
great success with our clients over the years, over the
decades giving alcohol with ALA to help people with shingles
and help people with diabetic neuropathy. Okay, so alcohol with ALA.
I take two of two capsules every day around lunchtime.

(11:33):
I think it serves me well. My brain functions quite clearly.
I always have a pretty good mood. I have plenty
of energy. I sleep well. I mean I sleep six
to seven hours a night, but it's a real deep sleep.
It's a real deep, rewarding sleep. So I feel good
in the morning. And that's six to seven hours is
a beautiful amount of sleep. It's normally about seven, but

(11:55):
sometimes six. Okay. Now I put greens on special, and
I put reds on special. So alcohol with alas on special.
I strongly recommend it for older people for mental clarity,
for mental energy, for memory, to boost their mood, and
even help with nerve pain, and even help restore some

(12:17):
muscle and strength. So it's all good. It's all good.
I put greens and reds on special. Greens is herbs
and vegetables with a little bit of probiotic, and reds
is berries and fruits with a little bit of probiatic.

(12:40):
Now the greens the benefits of greens. It'll help you
maintain a proper pH because it's given you green stuff
that helps you get away from being too acidic. If
you're too acidic, you lose bone, it's hard to sleep,
you could be nervous if you're too acidic. The immune
system is over active, so pain could be worse, alogies

(13:00):
could be worse, et cetera. So you want the body
to be able to balance its pH. That pH is
to bounce between acid and base. So the greens gives
you the foods that helps bounce the pH if the
body needs to balance the pH a little more better
in a better fashion. But there's also a number of

(13:21):
things in there that are great for getting rid of
toxins and great for the liver. Like there's milk thistle,
which is fantastic for you. It's a little bit healthy
for the kidneys, it's good for your skin, but it's
great for the liver. It helps rejuvenate the river. You
could cut your liver in half and only have half
your liver left, and if that half is fairly healthy,
it'll regenerate a full sized liver. It we'll go back

(13:42):
to what it was. So if you have some damage
in party of liver and you start feeding at things
like milk thistle, it'll regenerate a healthy liver much more
effectively and efficiently. And there's quite a few things in
there to help get toxins out of, Like this is
chlorilla and spiralina. Spiralina helps get rid of things like lead.

(14:05):
Lead raises your blood pressure and it's very toxic for
the brain. Mercury mercury is very toxic, arsenic things, a cadmium,
all these things it helps you get rid of. And
these are very clean products. We test the greens to
make sure it's clean, that there's no heavy metals like copper, lead,
mercury and all that in their aluminum, you name it.
It's a clean product. So I scoop of greens every day.

(14:28):
And one thing people report with the greens is physical energy.
They report better physical energy, so that's pretty cool. That's
pretty cool. The reds is more berries and citrus fruit. Now,
berries and citrus fruit give you things the immune system requires.
So for instance, in berries you have pointed kaligans and

(14:53):
elegantenins that are directly toxic to viruses. The viruses can't
handle them. They all load viruses, they kill viruses. So
that's a good thing this time of year because we're
going towards virus season. And then of course, the citrus
fruits have natural vitamin C. You get some natural vitamin
C in there, but the flavor is tremendous when you

(15:15):
mix the citrus fruit with the probiotics, which gives a
little sweetness because the probiotics generally are a little bit
sweet naturally, when you mix the citrus fruits with the
probiotics and the berries, it's delicious. So it's a really
handy tool for your kids or grandkids to give them
antioxidants and some high quality foods concentrated. These are lioffalized.

(15:39):
They suck the moisture out of it. They leave behind
the goodness. All the blues and the purples and the yellows,
and the oranges and the ambers and all the reds.
That's all in there. So what I used to do
with my kids with the reds, I used to take
a scoop for each kid and put in their pancakes.
I'd put a little green a little bit of green tea,

(16:01):
not much, but I'd put the reds in there. I'd
put a little cocoa in there, and then make them
these whole grain pancakes, so I was actually giving them
good food. I used to also make them sodas out
of the reds, because I would take a little bit
of fruit juice, just a little bit. I'd take half
a scoop of reds and i'd mix that in seltzer

(16:21):
and that was their sodas. They never had Coca cola,
they never had Canada dry ginger ale. They had the reds.
That was there. They look forward to it, and they
used to also make frozen popsicles with it. I would
take it, and you know, I had a popsicle shaper
thing and a form to make popsicles with, and I'd
stick a stick in there and I'd make a popsicle

(16:43):
out of reds with some like grape juice. And that
was their desserts. I mean, that's what they ate. So
you could get the red the kids were in school,
they're going to be sharing viruses. You give them reds.
At least they're getting some of the berry ingredients like
the elegant tannons and the punic calligans, and again in
the vitamin and see the booster immune system to make
it work more efficiently. Okay, so the reds and greens
run special, and the alcohol with alas on special. I

(17:04):

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Okay, welcome back Jerry Hicky for Invite Health. I'll call
with Ala for brain energy and memory and just an
all around great health supplement for older people. Anybody over
sixty is an incredible supplement that's on special. Our Greens
HX powder and our Red Say Checks powder around special

(19:02):
and that's probably the best greens you can get on
the market as far as flavor and components. Now, I
put probiotics on special today. It's a good time of
year to take probiotics. I take it every day. The probiotics,
ah checks. It took me months to put that together

(19:22):
because I read so many studies and I wanted to
put together the best combination of live bacteria to give
a crust aboard the benefits you would expect from a probiotic.
So one of the benefits of a probiotic, if it's
made properly and it has good strains in it, living strains,

(19:46):
is to balance the immune system. And there's a lot
of research on this, a lot of high quality human
clinical trials on this. On one hand, probiotics help with allergies.
I have gotten rid to of my dog allergies, my
cat allergies, and my pollen analogies.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
I had.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
A slow of allergies gone, totally gone, And it really
is the probatics that did it for me. I couldn't
have wheat. I didn't have a severe wheat reaction which
is called celiac sprew. I didn't have that. I had
a wheat allergy gone. I had problems with different foods

(20:32):
that would upset my stomach, like like tomato swusce gone.
That doesn't upset my stomach anymore. That's just a sensitivity.
But my pollen analogies, my dog. I have two dogs.
My dog allergies are gone, totally gone, totally gone. I
could stick my nose right near fur and not get
a horse road or anything. I mean, it was amazing.
I really wasn't. So it does take time for the

(20:55):
probatics to help you with allergies. There's three strains of
the probatic achecks which help with allog It doesn't mean
that's all they do. They do a lot of other
things too. I mean is hundreds and hundreds and hundreds
of studies on each one of these strains. Lack of
Bacillus plantarum by feeda Bacterium animolus and lack of Bacillus rhamnosis,
so Plantarum rhamnosis both lack to Bacilli and then by

(21:19):
Fiada Bacterium lactus by feeda Bacterium minimalis subspecies lactice. They're
great for allergies. So if you start taking our probiotic now,
within a couple of months, your allergies will diminish great least.
Stay in the probiotic and neuralogies will get better and
better and better. But at the same time, the probiotics
boost your ability to fight cancer cells and to fight infections,

(21:40):
all kinds of infections. Our most common immune cell is
called the neutrophil, but once you hit your late twenties,
they don't work as effectively because you have a lot
of antibodies, so that the immune system gives less value
to the neutrophils. But they're really important for new infections.
This is a reason why young people really weren't affected

(22:02):
by COVID because the nutriphills, your nutripill is like like
a blunt instrument against old infections. It doesn't specify which
infection to go after. The problem is in older people,
our nutrient fills don't work, so if there's a new
strain of flu, we don't have any protection against it
because the nutrifills don't work and we haven't really created

(22:26):
antibodies yet. We have not created antibodies. So the probatic
HX brings back nutrophill activity, but it also enhances natural
killer cell activity, and this is really important. The first
Let's say somebody coughs on you with the flu, right,
and after three or four days you start to exhibit symptoms. Well,

(22:48):
the first part of the immune system is supposed to
kick in, which doesn't work that well. In US older people,
so the probaticies help that do better. But in everybody
that tends to wear out after a while, So you
have these bridge cells because you haven't made antibodies yet
specific for that infection. So you have these bridge cells
called natural killer cells that kind of cover the time

(23:10):
between your first set of immune cells that are worn
out and the formation of antibodies. And older people, natural
killer cells are present, but they don't work. The probiotics
bring back to natural killer cells. This is really important
for new strains that a flu. This is really important
for anything you haven't been immunized against. Whether you believe

(23:32):
in immunizations or not, I mean that's up to you,
it's not up to me. I have been immunized for shingles,
and I have been immunized for pneumonia, and I think
that's really important. All the other immunizations I don't bother with.
But the natural killer cells are also policing for cancer cells.

(23:54):
This is important even if you got mad at me
just now for admitting I got a couple of immunizations,
because some of you are, get over it, because what
I'm about to say is really important. Natural killer cells
are a first line of defense against cancer. Older people,
natural killer cells are feeble. They're not functioning, so it's

(24:14):
easy for a cancer cell to slip by and start
a tumor formation. When you take the probiotics within five days,
your natural killer cells become more efficient at tracking down
and killing cancer cells because there's always cancer cell. So
on the one hand, the probiotics help with allergies, and

(24:36):
on the other hand, the probiotics help with infections, so
that's really important. And of course they help with all
the stomach things like some people, like I've known women.
I haven't known any men, but I'm sure it can
happen to man. I've known women that eat food and
their stomach it's all swollen. It helps with that. And

(24:56):
it helps with gases if you gasy all the time,
because that could be embarrassing. Keep the windows open in
the car. And it also helps if you have constipation,
if you have diarrhea. It makes you more normal, more regular.
It restores regularity without taking axiatives, because some laxatives are
really a problem. And also it helps you digest your food.

(25:21):
It breaks your food down. It helps you break the
food down so you could absorb the nutrients into your body.
These nutrients are so wholesome and needed, you want to
absorb them effectively. All the people. For some reason, we
lose our good bacteria. When you take the probiotic, you're
putting back the good bacteria. So there's a real need
for it. Certain things kill your good bacteria, Like if
you live near I ninety five and you're breathing in

(25:44):
the fumes from cars, that kills you good bacteria, so
that you need a probiotic. If you have diabetes, that
kills you good bacteria. If you're obese, that kills you
good bacteria. If you drink alcohol regularly, that kills you
good bacteria. If you smoke cigarettes, it kills you good bacteria.
And for some crazy reason, as we grow older, that
kills you good bacteria, So take the probiotic. Any of

(26:09):
those diabetic live in near pollution. You use a lot
of cleaning fluids, like let's see, you make a living
cleaning houses. All those cleaning fluids, when you inhale them,
they kill you good bacteria. All these people need probiotics.
It's really really important because the bacteria rule, and you
don't want bad bacteria to rule, because bad bacteria increase

(26:29):
your risk of allergies, autoimmune diseases like rubensoid arthritis. They
do a lot of very bad for the breasts. Now,
while we're saying that, there's also a probiotic specifically for women. Yeah,
men could take it, but it's really great for women.
First of all, when you swallow this probiotic, over time,
these bacteria will travel to your vaginal tissue and help

(26:53):
prevent vaginal yeast infections. So if you're prone yeast infections,
these bacteria wool, they will implant in the vaginal tissue
and they will help prevent future yeast infections. They also
get into the urinary tract. We used to think that
urine was sterile, it's not. This bacteria in urine. So
if you're prone to ecoli infections of the urinary tract.

(27:15):
Most people get bladder infections and urinary tract infections, it's ecoli.
The probiotic will help to sanitize, to clean out the
urinary tract, to help prevent future urinary tract infections. But
really importantly, and of course, these are all good for
digestion too. You get the digestion stuff from these. From
the women's probiotic, you get all the digestion help. But

(27:37):
also they cleanse your breasts. They get chemicals out of
your breast. The bad bactery don't do that. They inflame
the breasts the good bacteria. All these plastics and all
these forever chemicals and all the pesticides and all these things.
You want to get them out of your breast. The
bacterial strains and the electripacilli strains, and the women's probaetic

(27:59):
cleanse your breasts. So sum that up. Breast cleansing, urinary
tract health, vaginal health, and good digestion and regularity. So
here's what's on special. Because I had more to say
about the probiotics, but I'm going to be out of time,
so I have to finish up. The probatic. All the
probiotic formulas are on special. I take the Probatic CHX,

(28:21):
the greens AHX, you know, the vegetables with the herbs,
the reds HX, which is the berries with the sisters
fruits and some herbs, and the alcohol with ala for
your memory and brain energy. They're all on special mention
this code. When you place an order, you get ten

(30:30):
and if you have listened to me in the past,
you know I am a huge University of Michigan fans.
So we have a very big game coming up tonight,
so we shall see how that all plays out. We
are playing the Oklahoma Sooners this evening, so we'll see
how how we do at the end of tonight. A
lot of sports action got NFL back into full swing.

(30:53):
We have baseball getting very exciting with playoffs coming up,
and then of course we have the USO Open going on,
so very exciting time for sports enthusiasts like myself out there.
I have many things that I would like to cover
with you today when it comes to your health and
your wellness. And remember, any of the products that I

(31:14):
am discussing today are not only on a buy one,
get one free sale. You can also get an additional
ten percent off if you use the promo code Amanda
Woor when you give us a call, or if you
stop by one of our stores, or if you go
to our website Invite health dot com. So I'm going
to go over many different products today. I'll actually just

(31:36):
list them off for you right now, and then as
I progress throughout the show, going to start to highlight
these different formulas for you, and then I'll recap which
products once again are on special. But just to start
things off today, I'm going to be talking about GrapeSEED extract.
I'm going to talk about krill oil. I'm going to
talk about aged garlic. This is a very exciting product,

(31:58):
so many different utilizations age garl. I talk about our
green TTX. We have to remember cold and flu season
is literally right around the corner, so always wise to
get ahead of the game. So we'll talk some green
TTX today. The bladder HX renal aid as well as
are newly named vitaveain so vitamin is formerly our veins

(32:20):
HX formulation, and not only does it have a new name,
it's still the same great formulation, just a new name,
but it also has a new delivery meth so. It
used to be in a tablet, now it is in
a capsule. So I am over the moon excited about
that bringing you this very powerful formulation in an easy
to swallow capsule. So I'm going to get into all

(32:42):
of that. There's been many different things going on in
the world of nutrition and wellness news, so I just
want to mention a couple of things. Artificial sweeteners. You know,
I'm very big into talking about let food be thy
medicine and you are what you eat, avoiding ultra processed foods,

(33:03):
avoiding artificial sweeteners. And this study just came out from
the American Academy of Neurology looking at over twelve thousand
middle aged adults and finding that those who consumed the
most artificial sweeteners found commonly wear in places like diet sodas.

(33:23):
So if you are a diet soda drinker, definitely listen
up here. But what they found was that those individuals
who had the highest consumption of those artificial sweeteners coming
from their sodas, coming from flavored waters and processed snacks
had a significantly faster decline in cognitive functions.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
So they were.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
Seeing for processing speeds of the brain for memory, and
an accelerated brain aging effect. So we already know that
there's a strong correlation between the consumption of artificial sweeteners
and things like diabetes risk. Now we're seeing the true
impact that has on brain aging as well. So what's

(34:06):
the moral to the story here? If you drink diet
soda or if you know someone who is drinking diet
soda or using artificial sweeteners, tell them to stop because
their brain will thank them. So that is the moral
story and that they need to start using Krill oil
advanced from Invite Health. Remember our krill oil is a
very powerfu krill. You can find krill in a lot

(34:28):
of different places, So you can go into like a
Walgreens or a Costco and you can find krill oil.
But the form that we use at Invite Health is
incredibly potent and the sourcing mechanism I've talked about this
multiple times. We use a registered trademark form of krill oil,
so it's not like a run of the mill krill,

(34:50):
so it's an antarctic krill oil, and it has this
registered trademark for many different reasons. One is the traceability,
so we know exactly where that krill is coming from.
The sustainability, so it is sourced in a safe and
sustainable way to ensure that future generations can yield the

(35:12):
benefit of krill oil when it comes to joint health
and brain health and heart health. And it's such a
powerful krill that it contains a high amount of naturally
occurring phospatidyl coalin as well as a high amount of

(35:33):
naturally occurring astaxanthin. So astaxanthin is a potent carotenoid, very
beneficial for eye health and brain health and beyond. And
then we look at the phostatidl coalin. We know that
that's very important when it comes to your body's ability
to protect the cell structure, especially when we're looking at

(35:56):
liver cells and brain cells. And it works as a
prec to the manufacturing of acetyl coline. Now, acetyl coline
is important for your memory. So this is why when
you're taking crylloil advanced, it's so helpful for maintaining that
brain volume, that neuronal connection with the ASTs, aanthem to

(36:17):
fight off the ox state of stress and free radicals
that the brain is exposed to, and at the same
time or helping to produce acetyl colin. Now, this is
an important topic here because what we know about acetylcholine
is if we do not have adequate amounts of acetylcholine

(36:40):
being produced and released, this can create an enormous amount
of problems for us when it comes to focus, attention, memory,
cardiovascular health, all of these different ways in which acetyl
colin is so important. Now, the reason why I bring

(37:02):
this up is because one of the topics that I
want to discuss today is the use of scetylcholine blocking medications. Now,
someone had requested that I talk about this and the
actual implications that those medications can have when it comes

(37:22):
to your brain connectivity and the brain health itself. Now,
what we know about these what they're called, it's a
class of drugs called anti coalinergic medications. Now, they do
serve a purpose in certain regards. However, the more that
we have learned about these very potent in many cases medications,

(37:45):
their long term effects and negative effects. Let's look at
it that way is much more disruptive and detrimental. So
you really have to look at these different medications and
say is it worth me making this medication knowing what
we know, knowing that this can have a direct association

(38:07):
between the loss of acetylcholine production and the long lasting
implications that that has on brain health, and really some
fascinating studies that have been conducted in the past decade
on this. In the Drugs and Aging Journal just last year,

(38:29):
they looked at the association between taking anti coalenergic medications
and cognitive decline. This was a British cohort study that
was conducted and they were looking at individuals who were
between the ages of fifty three and sixty nine years
old who were using anti coalenergic medications for whatever particular

(38:54):
prescribing reason that they were taking those meds, and they
could see a direct link between the anti coal energic
medication use and a lower cognitive function score. So what
does that mean, Well, the more that they use the medication,

(39:15):
the worse they did in terms of cognitive performance. So
you're looking at things like memory and recall, focus, attention, processing, speed,
so these are all important things to consider. We know
that with any increase risk of dementia, we always have

(39:37):
to look at genetic underpinnings. We have to look at
loss of brain volume. Hence, this is why we want
to take our crill oil advanced. We want to be
looking at what other factors can be playing a role
into this, and we have to look at these anti
coal energic medications. So whenever I'm working with someone who
has concerns with their memory not being a s sharp

(40:00):
is it once used to be, this is one of
the first questions that I'll ask is what medications are
you on? Because if you're on a particular medication and
we can link that directly to the memory concerns, then
this is an area that you can start to work
on with your physicians. Say you know what, maybe we
can look at an alternative. Maybe I shouldn't be on

(40:23):
an anti coalenergic medication. Now you may be sitting there going, well,
what in the world are anti coalenergic medications? How do
I know if I'm on one? Well, some of the
more common prescribed anti coal energics fall into the category
of overactive bladder. So for those who have maybe heard

(40:46):
of the drug diitrepan also known as its generic name,
which is oxybutinin. This is probably the most well known
of all those anti coal energic medications that has led
to issues with memory. And the reason why I say
the most common because usually if someone's taking ditcherpan or

(41:09):
oxybutinin for an overactive bladder or incontinence, and they had
no issues with their memory prior to taking this medication,
they just had the bladder issues, they start taking it
and then they start to notice that they're having problems
with their memory. As opposed to some of the other

(41:30):
anti coinergic medications such as the tricyclic antidepressants and Parkinson's medications.
So with those we're already dealing with brain conditions. And
so when someone complains it says, all my memory. You know,
you have a patient with Parkinson's who's on a medication

(41:51):
and they say, my memory is starting to slip. Oftentimes
their doctor will say, well, this is just part of
the disease process. Not realize it's the medication. Same thing
when you're looking at someone who is being treated for
depression and they say, you know, my memory is not
as sharp. Oh, This is because you're dealing with depression.
So we always have to look at causative reasons, and

(42:14):
the anti coalenergic medications certainly are well known at this
point in time for causing these very problematic side effects. Now,
this is the part that I really want everyone to
listen up on, because you may say, well, I'm not

(42:34):
taking anything for overactive bladder, and you know, I don't
take any medication for depression, and I'm not, you know,
taking a Parkinson's medication, so none of this really applies
to me. Well, there's many other things. There are medications
for blood pressure, there are medications for respiratory issues asthma

(43:01):
that certainly have been linked to the same issue. When
you're looking at medications like atremant and spareva, we know
that there's a direct correlation. We can certainly see this
cogentin happens to be the one for Parkinson's, So the
medications called cogentin. Now, something that we should also look

(43:26):
at is anti nausea sea sickness. So when we look
at individuals who say, oh, I'm going on a cruise
and you know my doctor gave me this medication for
sea sickness, those are anti colonergic medications. So maybe we
need to be looking at other options, right, we need
to look at maybe we need to make some alterations

(43:49):
in our diet, and maybe we need to be taking
some calming nutrients such as elthenine instead. But let's look
at some of those or the counter medications. We're talking
the benadryls, the advil, pms, the tile and all pms,
the unisoms. These are all things that most of you

(44:13):
out there, I'm sure no you probably have maybe a
friend or a neighbor who says, oh, yeah, I sleep great,
I take unisom every night, and then you go and
you talk to them and say, how's your memory? So
think about that one just for a moment. So we're
looking at, you know, the drama means. So that's for

(44:35):
the sea sickness. We're looking at how many folks out
there take benadryl or tilan all PM. These are very
commonly used medications and the most common side effect of
these medications is the long lasting implications that they have

(44:57):
when it comes to your memory. And there is enough
evidence out there at this point in time linking the
concurrent use of anti coalinergic meds whether prescribed or over
the counter with the incidents of dementia, and in the

(45:18):
Journal of the American Medical Association in their Internal Medicine division.
They published back in twenty fifteen, folks, so ten years ago.
So every doctor in this country who's practicing medicine, especially
internal medicine doctors, should know this because it's in their

(45:41):
journal right the Journal of the American Medical Association, Cumulative
Use of strong anti coalinergic Medications in the Incidence of Dementia.
The study was conducted looking at over thirty four hundred individuals,
looking at their use of anti coalinergic medications and then

(46:04):
looking at the rate of dementia and Alzheimer's, and they
said the results were so robust that there was no
other conclusion other than the fact that the individuals who
were on these meds had an exponential rate an increase

(46:26):
rate of getting dementia and Alzheimer's. So I wanted to
bring this up because we know that there are many
different alternatives that we can be looking at, especially when
it comes to bladder health. So I'm going to take
a quick break. When I get back from that break,
I'm going to talk about the bladder HX and the
renal aid because you can be taking these and you

(46:48):
don't have to be worrying about memory issues. So remember

(48:12):
Amanda Williams. Happy Saturday morning to everyone. Let's talk some
bladder AHX and some ma renal Aid. Both of those
products are on special today. Just got done talking about
those anti colonergic medications and the detrimental effects of those.
Like I said, the most commonly used medication prescription wise

(48:35):
that has been looked at as being very problematic when
it comes to memory is oxybutinin also known as dittrepan.
That's for overactive bladder. So you have a lot of
women in particular whose doctors will prescribe oxybutinin because they're
dealing with urgent continence and other urinary tract related issues.

(49:00):
So I remember doing a show many many years ago
I talked about this. I was talking in regards to
the oxybutan in memory issues and alternatives such as bladder HAX,
and I had this really lovely woman contact me after
the show and she says, you know, goodness, Amanna. I

(49:22):
was listening to the show today and I started to
think about it. I've been on oxybutin and now for
just over a year, and I have noticed a significant
change in my memory, and I was just kind of
chalking it up to just age related changes. But now
that I really take a deeper look at it, it
does correlate because it started to set in about three

(49:45):
months into taking the oxybutan in. So I'm interested in
what other options I can be turning to. And this
is when we had a nice conversation about the use
of our bladder hax formulation, which is is a stellar blend,
I must say, of key nutrients that have been so

(50:07):
well studied when it comes to enhancing overall bladder functionality.
So it has this wonderful proprietary blend of three leaf
caper horsetail extract and the silica in that, and then
it has pumpkin seed extract along with isoflavones, so it's
working on multiple different mechanisms. The isoflavones help when it

(50:32):
comes to the way in which the urethra itself is
basically responding to those pressure points within the bladder and
then you have the pumpkin seed extract, which is really
quite interesting because this works to create strength within the
pelvic floor and the bladder muscles themselves. So this is

(50:54):
an excellent product for both men and women who are
dealing with urgent continence and other bladder issues. We know that,
as I mentioned, that women are more prone to this
and this is for a variety of different reasons. We
can look at, you know, women who have had children
for example, that can do a lot of wear and

(51:15):
tear on one's bladder. But we also know that there
are other factors, you know, the shifting and hormones that happen,
and both men and women certainly plays a role into
the weakening of the bladder muscles themselves. And this is

(51:35):
why when you start to really dive into the bladder
hax formulation and you say, okay, so having the pumpkin
seed which is going to kind of mimic the action
of testosterone, the testosterone will help to strengthen those muscles,
which is very important. Having the isoflavone extract in that

(51:56):
which really can help with I said, the the urethra
itself and kind of creating more of a stability of
that urethra, that three leaf caper extract, which is definitely
well studied when it comes to the way in which
it can support the urinary bladder itself, and even for

(52:22):
those who are prone to urinary bladder stones, we know
that that three leaf caper is also very very helpful.
So you look at the statistics out there and you say,
you know, well, how common is you know, bladder issues. Well,
it's pretty darn common, you know, in the way in

(52:43):
which that can impact one's quality of life. You know,
they did a study, you know, probably at this point
twenty years ago, looking at quality of life for women
who were dealing with overactive ladder or incontinence, and you
could see this in very high percent of respondents saying,

(53:10):
you know, this really does impact my everyday life. You know,
maybe I'm not going to go across town because I think,
oh am I going to be able to find a bathroom.
You know, I was going to go over to this
store over here, but you know, I think I'll just
go to my local store. I mean, these are the
things that sometimes we take for granted, and in this questionnaire,

(53:31):
it was very evident that those who are dealing with
overactive bladder and dealing with urgent continence. It was a
very pronounced impact on their overall state of well being.
So looking at this and looking at the prevalence and
the severity, we know that this is quite high. It's

(53:54):
close to sixty percent of individuals who are between the
ages of you know, forty and older who are dealing
with some form of urinary incontinence. And then you have
the increased frequency of urination, certainly in men. You can
see this with the prostate correlation, but this can also

(54:18):
be very much so bladder related in both men and women.
So that weakening of the bladder is certainly going to
be something that can affect both men and women. So
you look at this product that we have that is
blending the three leaf caper with that horsetail extract, and

(54:40):
this has been studied extensively in terms of this blend
that we're using, in how beneficial it can be. And
when people start to use this, usually within the first
month to two months, they can start to see a
noticeable change in you know, frequency of urination, that urgency.

(55:04):
And remember years ago, there was the commercials that we're
out there, you know, I got to go, gotta go,
gotta go right now. Once again, Now we're dealing with
one of those very potent medications that can create some
pretty bad side effects, where we can be utilizing this

(55:24):
wonderful blend that has been shown time and time again
and you know, the gold standard placebo controlled trials to
significantly improve urinary symptoms without having those harsh side effects.
I mean, these are things that we should not overlook. So,

(55:48):
whether you're a male dealing with that overactive bladder or
you are a female, we have this wonderful bladder HX formulation.
Now how are you going to use it? Each person's different,
So you know, our instructions on the bottle say, you know,
take three capsules twice a day for the first two months.

(56:11):
Is that going to be the case for every single person? No?
Maybe perhaps you're someone where you take two capsules a
day and within the first month you see a significant difference.
So you always want to talk to one of our
nutritional advisors because they can help guide you as to
how to best utilize these formulations to get the most

(56:31):
out of them for your specific needs. Because we're all unique,
and we're all different, and what our needs and requirements
are can certainly vary. You know, and we have you know,
the feedback from folks who have been using this product
for years. You know, men who said, you know, I
was getting up multiple times and then all the nights,

(56:53):
I figured, you know what, I'm going to try this.
I'm going to start taking the prostate AHAX and I'm
also going to take that bladder ACHEX and I can
see the difference. I'm getting better quality of sleep now.
And sleep is so important. We cannot overlook the importance
of good quality sleep. This is the time for that
neuroplasticity to happen within our brain, so the brain cells

(57:15):
can start to repair. This is what helps our body
regulate blood sugar during the day, during our waketime hours.
This is what can help regulate your blood pressure. So, yes,
sleep is really important. You know how you manage stress
as an example, all of these things are definitely related

(57:38):
and we have to recognize this. We have to realize
that if you're not getting good quality sleep, you know
what is the reason. Why? Is it because you're getting
up multiple times? You know, if you're a male and
you're getting up multiple times, yes, you need to be
taking that prostate HX along with the bladder HX. If
you are a female who's finding that you're getting up

(57:59):
multiple times to go use the bathroom, bladder HX can
be a wonder product for you to start taking. Now,
looking at other things that can be incredibly helpful for
bladder health is our renal aid formulation. This is a
product that I turn to quite frequently when individuals have
a history of recurrent UTIs or urinary tract infections, and

(58:24):
this is quite prevalent once again in females. However, males
of a certain age, they become kind of that key
subject of an area of concern. Let's just say when
it comes to frequency of UTIs. So as men get older,

(58:45):
there is a greater tendency for the urinary bladder itself
to have an inability to completely empty, and due to
that the risk of developing a UTI can go up.
So you do see this much more common, and this
has to do with the prostate. So I won't get

(59:06):
into the whole anatomy and physiology of how this is
all working, but we know that as men get older,
the increase risk for having a urinary tract infection certainly
goes up. So we like to look at the renal
aid formulation. This is a wonderful blend of D mannos

(59:27):
coming from cranberry extracts. Remember, cranberry extract can make the
bladder wall very slick or slippery, and that's important because
it's hard for bacteria to adhere to a slick or
slippery bladder wall. They just slide right on out. That's
what we want. We don't want any type of a

(59:47):
bacteria to find a nice, happy home in our bladder,
which is why I always turn to the renal Aid
formulation because of its blend, having that D manos that's
derived directly from that cranberry extract. It has this wonderful
probiotic blend in it, so it really helps with the

(01:00:10):
healthy colonization of healthy bacteria. Your bladder. Your urinary tract
has its own unique microbiome, so having this blend of
these healthy strains of bacteria to fight off unhealthy strains
is really quite important. And then it has olive leaf extract.

(01:00:31):
We know that the olive leaf itself and the all
europene within that olive leaf extract is a very powerful
way to address different bacteria. Of course, we know it's
very beneficial for viruses and all other types of little
creepy Crawley's. But we can see the benefit of having
the olive leaf extract in the renal Aid formulation for

(01:00:54):
the purpose of having a very healthy environment, one of
which makes it inhospitable for bad bacteria to want to
hang out. And then it also contains a really nice
amount of fos. So this is the fruito allego sacride.

(01:01:16):
I want to talk about this in some more details
because this was just in the news recently, believe even
just this week. So I want to talk about fruitto
allego sackride. One in the world is that? Why is
it in the renal aid formulation? Why should you care?
I want to tell you all about that, but I
do need to squeeze in a quick break, so stick
around with me. You were listening to Invite Health Radio

and welcome back to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor

(01:02:41):
Amanda Williams. Happy Saturday to everyone. I am talking about
our renal aid formulation. This is a wonderful blend of
prebiotics and probiotics. It has that d man o, so
you're really getting a comprehensive blend of nutrients for overall

(01:03:02):
urinary tracts support. So we're thinking of our kidneys, we
think of just the GI tract itself leading down to
the urinary tract and this nice blend of the mannos
along with that olive leaf extract as the fruit olego
sacride in it has this powerful fibersol digestion resistant blend

(01:03:26):
in that which can help with improving even you know,
regularity in bowel movements. And at the same time you
get this nice blend of healthy bacteria to optimize the
urinary tract microbiome. But why do I want to talk
about the the fruitoal lego sacrides. Why is that important? Well,

(01:03:48):
just this last week there was a real fascinating study
that came out talking about how something is simple as
fructo illego saccharide can actually help with memory. And they
were looking at how the utilization of fruit olego sachrides

(01:04:13):
was beneficial to the gut microbiome. We know that there's
such a strong connection between the gut and the brain,
so they were looking during this twelve week trial of
giving individuals fos is what it's shortened to fos so
fruito lego sachrides And you may think, okay, well, what
in the world is this. Well, the fruit olego sachrides,

(01:04:37):
what they help the body do is to produce these
small chained fatty acids known as butyrate. So this one
we're thinking about fibers, but anulin as an example is
fruit allego sachride. They are incredibly helpful for producing this butyrate,
and butyrate works as a natural anti inflammatory within the

(01:05:00):
gut throughout the system, and so it's helping to lessen
inflammation and improve that gut brain connection. So this was
a twelve week trial that was done over at King's
College in London, and they wanted to see if hey,
if we just add this simple prebiotic, this fruitollego sacharide,

(01:05:21):
will this make any difference in terms of cognitive function,
because what we're looking at is the microbiome, and they
want to see if there was any specific shift. And
what they could see was that there was an increase
in these healthy strains of bacteria normally residing within the
human microbiome, and the fruito legosachrides really allowed for that

(01:05:44):
butyrate to help to enhance that and to lessen inflammation,
to improve upon the neurotransmitter release, and so it's really
quite impressive. But this is just a little fun fact
to know about renal aid formulation is you get this
powerful amount of that fruit tote legal sacrid. So maybe

(01:06:05):
you're taking it because you have a history of having
urinary tract infections, but at the same time you're getting
the side benefit. Remember I always like to talk about
this that when you're taking dietary supplements, we're always looking
at the main reason why you would be using it.
So maybe you're taking grape seed extract as an example
for circulatory support and blood pressure support, not even realizing

(01:06:29):
all of its anti fungal properties that it's so well
known for. And I'm going to get into that in
a in just a moment, But this is the fun
things that go along with dietary supplementations that we're always
looking at those side benefits as opposed to the synthetic
medications where we always run the risk of having those

(01:06:50):
side effects. So you look at a formulation such as
renal aid and you say, wow, this is great. It's
targeting any bad bacteria that might be trying to build
up in my bladder cause a UTI, and at the
same time it's helping to support and optimize the immune
system all at the same time. So all these wonderful
side benefits. As I like to call them. Now, let's

(01:07:11):
shift gears, and let's talk about nutrients that are beneficial
when it comes to fungal overgrowth. When you look at
things like candida, for example, we have naturally occurring amounts
of fungus that lives on our bodies, just like we
have a natural amount of bacteria. And when it comes

(01:07:34):
to fungal overgrowth or candida overgrowth, this is something that
is fairly well known. You know, people have heard of
oral thrush or you know, having a yeast infection as
an example, But what about you know, something like athletes foot.
You know, what are the things that we can be
turning to. And we know that so many of the

(01:07:55):
different nutrients that we offer it invite health have been
studied in US this setting. I mean, there was study
done over ten years ago looking at the use of
green tea polyphenols in individuals who had athletes foot and
they were actually having them do a foot bath and
they would take the like the very powerful green t

(01:08:18):
extract and they were putting it into the foot bath
itself and they could see a shift in terms of
the spread of that athlete's foot and the overall improvement.
So the heel time was quite significant. So you look

(01:08:39):
at something like a green TTX, you look at our
grape seed extract, and our grape seed extract, by the way,
is a registered trademark form of grape seed, so it
has a high amount of those ollego mare pro anthocynodyms,
the OPCs from that grape seed extract that packs such

(01:09:03):
a powerful punch. So, whether you're using our product because
you have concerns when it comes to circulation and blood pressure,
maybe you know have perful artery disease or chronic venus insufficiency,
grape seed extract wonderful choice. But if we're dealing with
you know, a bit of food poisoning, for example, we

(01:09:24):
should be taking grape seed extract. Jerry and I talk
about this quite often. Sometimes people go out to a restaurant,
you come home, you say, gosh, I don't really feel right.
Start taking grape seed extract. The grape seed extract has
such powerful antimicrobial, anti fungal properties to it, and it

(01:09:45):
behooves you to use this formulation out thinking outside of
the box, thinking outside of just circulation support, thinking about
this as an immune system formulation, looking at its benefits
of course for brain health. But also for that balance
of the healthy microbial environment, including healthy fungal levels within

(01:10:13):
the body. So we can partner this up with that
green TTX. Now say, if someone is dealing with athletes foot,
can you take the green tea tincture that we have
and put a couple of full droppers into some warm water. Yes,
you can do that and do a footpath that way.
That powerful amount of that EGCG, the epigallocatoch and gaily.

(01:10:36):
We know that this possesses a significant amount of anti
fungal activity. So in the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy twenty
years ago they talked about this. They could see the
benefit of utilizing green tea for cancer patients who were

(01:10:56):
dealing with oral thrush and so having them do like
an EGCG so the green tea doing a rinse in
their mouth. How beneficial that was to creating this balance
once again, So I want to talk in some detail
about why it is that we always want to try

(01:11:19):
to find this nice way in which we can naturally
target in balances in our system. So, whether this is
a woman who's dealing with recurrent yeast infections, or if
this is someone who's dealing with athletes foot what should

(01:11:41):
we be turning to? And this is where we can
look at products like the aged garlic, the green TTX,
the grape seed extract. And remember that grape seed extract
that we use, it's so incredibly uniquecause we're using a
registered trademark form. So the grape seed extract that we
get is sourced from the Champagne region in France. It

(01:12:03):
is such a unique, uniquely sourced product that we have
the obviously the health benefits in the clinical research trials
done with the Enovida grape seed extract that we use,
but the once again the sustainability, and it's just it's
really quite a powerful extract. When I first started to

(01:12:27):
invite how they remember looking at that product and saying,
I don't think I've ever come across a grape seed
extract in all of my time in this field that
has this level of powerful polyphenols contained in one single capsule.
So every capsule is giving you two hundred and fifty

(01:12:50):
milligrams of that grape seed extract. So it's a very
powerful extract and the benefits go beyond that of just
four for blood pressure support, certainly beneficial for blood sugar
control and like I said, all of its properties when
it comes to being an anti fungal as well. So

(01:13:14):
we can partner this up with the aged garlic extract
and certainly recognizing all of the ways age garlic kind
of in that same setting should be looked at outside
of just for blood pressure and cardiovascular support. Certainly, the
studies out there have indicated that those who are supplementing
with age garlic extract can see a reduction in their

(01:13:40):
blood pressure. But we also can look at the way
in which the age garlic is working to really create
this superior way for our bodies to be able to
create in a sense a happy you know, homeostasis one

(01:14:00):
can say, within the gut microbiome, and to help to
enhance the overall way in which our body responds to
those shifts are changes. Once again, so if we have
kind of an overgrowth that is occurring within our system
that can drive up a Candida infection, or you know

(01:14:24):
we're dealing with athletes foot or jocketch for example, we
can clearly see the way in which that garlic extract.
This has been studied for thirty years now and across
many different fungal families. I remember back in medical school

(01:14:45):
learning about how you know, garlic extract, which is quite
interesting because usually in medical school you don't learn any
of these types of topics. But how garlic extract, you know,
had this ability to fight off a spiritualist species and
so this is a very problematic fungal infection that can

(01:15:09):
create a significant amount of damage in the system. And
so they were looking at you know, old timey treatments
before there was you know, the powerful prescription medications out
there for anti fungals, and they said, you know, years ago,
they used to use garlic extracts. So this always stuck
in my head. So I've always known that the garlic
extract itself is a powerful weapon for us to turn

(01:15:32):
to when it comes to creating once again that homeostasis,
making sure that we have healthy fungal levels in our system,
that we're not having any rate of candy to overgrowth. Now,
when you look at you know, situations with jockeage or
you know, athletes foot those are just we have to
look at the environment as well. You know, the humidity

(01:15:57):
can play a role into this. You know, keeping those
areas dry very important. But we have to always be
thinking from the inside out as well. A lot of
times we always want to just do those topical approaches,
so we always want to try to think from the
inside we can help to heal the outside. So as
I mentioned topically, no problem if you want to create

(01:16:19):
like a little foot bath with the green t TX,
but at the same time, make sure that you're taking
two full droppers of that green tea added into about
four or five ounces of water and sip on that
as well, because we want to make sure we get
that EGCG internally. So even if you're gonna use it topically,
you also want to be taking that internally, so you
want to be drinking that green TTX. We want to

(01:16:41):
be taking our aged garlic capsules. How many should you
take if you have an active fungal infection, whether that's
a yeast infection, oral thrush, or say athletes foot I
would take two capsules twice a day at a minimum
for you know, at least ten days. Now there might
be the reasons why you would take even more than that.

(01:17:02):
This is once again when you want to reach out
to one of our nutritionness and have a chat with
them as to you know, are you using the product
the right way? What time of day should you be
taking it? How much should you take for your specific concerns.
So this is why we have folks like doctor Claire
over it in our Forest Hills location. She's a naturopathic doctor.

(01:17:24):
She is brilliant and she is so kind. So I
encourage you if you have questions to you know, give
her a call or stop over at the Forest Hills
location and have a chat with her. Ask her, you know,
if I start using age garlic, or if I am
going to use the grape seed extract, how do I
take this? She's always happy to explain. So I do

(01:17:45):
need to squeeze in one more break or remember all
these products, the renal Aid, the bladder h Ex, Krill
Oil Advanced, they're all on a buy one, get one
free grape seed extract, aged garlic, but you get an
additional ten percent off if you use that problem code,

(01:19:08):
eight hundred six three two zero five seven to two
and welcome back to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams. Finally, today I want to talk about the
renaming of our veins HX formulation. It is now called
Vita vein and it is in a capsule formulation. This

(01:19:29):
is a powerful formula that is blended with the key
nutrients that really can help for individuals who are dealing
with circulation issues. In particular, what I have found to
be a very big burden for many folks is hemorrhoids.
And so if you are dealing with hemorrhoids, or you

(01:19:51):
know someone who is dealing with hemorrhoids, you need to
make sure that they start taking the Vita vein formulation.
So this has horse chestnut extract in it, it has
horsetail rush extract in it. There's Gota cola in this formulation,
there's bill berry extract in this, There's a citrus bioflavonoid complex.
This product partner's up really nice with our brand new

(01:20:12):
Vitality Plus beadlet. So if you are prone to hemorrhoids,
and we know that this is an incredibly common issue globally,
but here in the United States now it's estimated that
you know, at least thirty percent of the US population
is dealing with active hemorrhoids. And that's an alarmingly high number.

(01:20:33):
And we can look at diet as being a big
player into this amongst other factors. And you know, not
getting adequate fiber I mean, there's a lot of different
ways that we can look at this, but in any event,
for someone who's dealing with hemorrhoids, they just want those
hemorrhoids to go away. And one of the things that
I always turn to is not only those dietary changes,

(01:20:54):
but is to include in nutrients that have been studied
and shown to be clinically effective, and that is what
is contained in the Vita vein formally known as veins achax.
So we came up with a new name of this
formulation because I wanted to switch it from the tablet
into a capsule. So the tablets were relatively large. I

(01:21:15):
like the delivery form of the capsule much better. So
it is now in a capsulated form, and we know
that for you know, the folks who use this product.
There's no change in the formulation. It's the exact same blend,
the same amounts of those nutrients are in there. It's
just the simplicity of taking it in a capsulated form. Now.

(01:21:36):
I also turn to veins achax if you have like
a sprained ankle, you know, and sometimes you can go out,
you step funny off of a curb and next thing
you know, you twist your ankle. So the veins achax
also a really nice product to turn to in those
acute situations. Now, how many should you be taking well,
if you have active hemorrhoids, I would suggest taking two
capsules twice a day. If you are dealing with a

(01:22:00):
sprained angle, I would maybe go with two caps three
times a day for two or three days, and then
scale back to just two caps a day for another
three or four days. For hemorrhoids active hemorrhoids, two caps
twice a day to keep hemorrhoids at BET two caps
a day is sufficient. And then also take that vitality
plus beadlet, so one of those beadlets of vitamin C

(01:22:24):
along with the vitabveins is a really nice one two punch.
We can look in the clinical studies done on horse
chestnut in particular in the setting of chronic venus insufficiency,
and this is used in many parts of Europe as
a prescribed medication basically for individuals who are dealing with
peripheral artery disease and chronic venus in sufficiency. So we

(01:22:47):
can certainly understand the clinical effectiveness of horse chestnut extract
and then when you partner it with the Gota cola
and you have the horsetail extract in this it really
leads to kind of a stability product for the vascular system,

(01:23:07):
especially in the area where hemorrhoids occur. So what we
want to try and do is we want to try
to build up that structural integrity once again, which is
why your vitamin C is importance. Tome of your blood
vessels made of collagen have to have vitamin C for
the cross linking of that collagen. So this is why
we look to the vitavein formulation. We say, okay, well

(01:23:29):
we have the horse chestnut which can really improve upon
the strength and the actual integrity of the vessels, and
it helps to fight the oxidative stress and lessons inflammation.
So all of these things that we understand about that
horse chestnut and having the combination with the Goda cola extract,
so all of these high antioxidant nutrients that are packed

(01:23:52):
within the vitavein capsule can really make a big difference.
I cannot tell you, folks, how many people have you
know had that conversation with me, Hey, Amanda, I'm dealing
with some hemorrhoids. What should I be taking? Number One?
Don't be shy about it. You don't have to be embarrassed.
There's millions of Americans who are dealing with hemorrhoids. But

(01:24:13):
what you don't want to do is to ignore it.
You want to be taking something to keep that problem
at bay. We don't want to keep having active hemorrhoids.
So taking formulation like the vite on a regular, consistent
basis is your pathway to success. So, as I always mentioned,
we're each unique, We're each individual, So talk with one

(01:24:35):
of our nutritionness so that you can get the best
advice as to how to use any of these formulas. So,
