Speaker 2 (00:37):
Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams, chief Science Officer at Invite Health, and happy
Saturday morning to everyone out there. I must admit I
went to bed very late last night because I stayed
up to watch the Tigers lose. So I I'm probably
(01:00):
feeling much like many of you New Yorkers who saw
your Yankees go down earlier this week. And I stayed
up and watched that endless game last night, went to
the wee hours of the morning, fifteen innings.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I mean, it was an amazing game.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
And you know, kudos to to the Mariners. But and
it should be interesting to see Toronto and Seattle match up.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
But I have to admit I was.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
I was a bit selfishly sad that my tigers lost.
But in any event, as I always say, there's always
next year. Now. What we do need to focus on
is the here and now, and we are into October,
we know that this is the time that we need
to zero in on our immune system. This is really
(01:56):
important because I always say, you don't want to be
playing catch up when cold and flu season starts to
really get reving up. So you want to do things
right now to start to build upon your immune defenses.
And I know for myself here in South Florida, we
(02:19):
always have kind of the wax and wine of the
cold and flu season. We get like an initial little
rush and then it seems to kind of fizzle out
and then it comes back. And I always say, that's,
you know, due in part two to everyone traveling down
to South Florida once the weather up north starts to
really get cold. So this is the time that I
(02:42):
always know I need to start taking my probiotic, I
need to be taking my green TTX, need to zero in.
I'm getting good sleep now, mind you, I did not
likely get good sleep last night because I stayed up
to watch sports, so but I'll give myself a pass
because playoffs, so you know, you sometimes you just have
(03:03):
to do what you have to do. And I of
course will be watching college football all day today because
this is my favorite time of year. Not only do
you have baseball, but you have football and just.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
All the sports.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
And you as you know, if you've listened to me,
you know I love sports and I love music, so
I find music to be incredibly therapeutic. Now why do
I bring this up? Well, part of our preparedness for
cold and flu season. I always look a look at
(03:38):
this as we have to kind of ready the body,
not only for the nutrans for building up our immune system,
but really being mindful and mindfulness to me, can do
so much for our overall health and to you know,
(03:59):
reduce stress. They've been studying mindfulness for so many years now,
and I did a special certification many years ago through
the Center for Mind Body Medicine.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
And I oftentimes.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Tell this story because at the time I was working
for a medical school, and so our team decided that
a couple of the professors should go and get certified
because this would be very helpful for our incredibly stressed
out medical students. So I was one of the professors
(04:31):
that you had the fortune of being able to take
this certification course. And in doing this, I went into
it being very open minded and thinking, Okay, this is
going to be great. I'll be able to, you know,
help give some of these students some you know, tips
as to how they can better manage their stressful study schedules.
(04:53):
And at the end of the day, I learned more
about myself and how I, like wasn't doing the best
job at managing stress. So to this day, I still
use so many of the different practices that I learned
in that course, and I find it to be so helpful.
(05:14):
I always have very high energy Jerry and I both
are affected. Let's just say with with high energy states,
which is a great thing. But you know, this is
one of those things that then if you come across
a point in your life where you have higher amounts
of stress or you're exposed to you know, the rhinovirus,
(05:35):
which is like the common cold, the likelihood that you
can start to get sick from that goes up. So
we know that stress plays a major part in our
immune defenses, and so in practicing mindfulness now and mindfulness
comes in many different forms, you know, for me, music
(05:57):
is one of my go tos for a kind of
being able to get in check and to get my
sympathetic nervous system in check with my parasympathetic nervous system,
because sometimes.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
We get into like a sympathetic.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Overdrive where you're just like pedal to the metal, And
so for me, turning to music is very helpful. You've
probably heard me talk about my love of hula hooping.
That's another thing that I will turn to. But there's
a lot of different techniques that you can use. And
we've all heard the saying, you know, mind over matter,
(06:33):
but they've been studying this for decades now, and you
go all the way back into ancient times and looking
at the practice of meditation and why that's so effective.
But in today's time, with the high amounts of stress
that many individuals are under, this is something for me
(06:56):
that it really piques my interest because I love to
learn every single day, and I love to look at
these different scientific studies that are really analyzing the causal
reasons as to why the human body takes so many
different hits. And you know, you've heard me talk about
(07:17):
pollutions and microplastics, and of course ultra processed foods. So
there's a lot of different moving parts here that we
have to be concerned with. But looking at the scientific
research on mindfulness and the true effectiveness to mindfulness techniques,
it's so just across the board, incredibly impressive. And there
(07:42):
was a study that was done over a decade ago
looking at how practicing different mindfulness techniques, So whether this
be music therapy, whether this is you know, breathing techniques,
or you know, practicing like an ancient form of meditation,
that they could find that those different techniques actually helped
(08:07):
to boost immunity to fight off different infectious diseases. So
chronic disease.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
State folks out there, this.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Is something I'm talking to you about. So if you're
dealing with a condition like diabetes or heart disease and
you're not practicing mindfulness, you really need to, you know,
pencil in ten minutes out of your day because it
can make a huge difference in how your body is
responding under high stress situations and when you're exposed to
(08:39):
these different things like pollutants.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Such as viruses.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
So this research that was done over a decade ago,
it was incredibly detailed. They were looking at the core
body temperature and how that's controlled.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
So much by our brain.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
So once again we're thinking of the sympathetic nervousness them
in the parasympathetic nervous system. And this was published in
the Plose one journal, So you'll hear myself as well
as Jerry talk about this journal on a regular basis
because it's a huge medical journal.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
So they were looking.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
At the brain's ability to have like this control over
that inner energy state and really being able to auto
regulate the body temperature through just breathing techniques and different
you know imagery. So when you think about guided imagery,
and you can find videos online that are very helpful.
(09:38):
If you're not sure what guided imagery is, certainly look
that up because it can be very helpful. But this
is one of those things that today I wanted to
zero in on this because while yes, we can turn
to our probiotic immune and we can turn to our
green TTX during this time of year, we also want
to partner this up with mindfulness technique. We want to
(10:00):
partner this up with healthy diet, you know, increasing your
you know, intake of things like citrus fruit, get your
natural vitamin C. That way, there's a lot of things
that we can do just through lifestyle modifications that can
make an astronomical difference in how our body can fight
(10:25):
off the common cold and as we get further into
cold and flu season, fighting off things like influenza. And
each person is different, and oftentimes people would say this
to me, and I love microbiology.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
I love virology. I go all the way.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Back to my undergraduate days and I took a virology
class and I was obsessed with it, Like I couldn't
wait for this class every single week because I wanted
to learn more about viruses. I'm like, these things are
so incredibly interesting.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
I have to know more.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
And to this day, I still find viruses very just
impressive how they can get into our cells and basically.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Take them over.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
I mean, it's really an impressive feet that they do.
So for me, I really like to understand foundationally what
is going on in the body and finding root causes.
I mean, this is one thing that invite health that
we pride ourselves in. It's not a band aid approach
(11:34):
to any one given issue that someone comes in to
have a conversation with us about. You know, someone comes
in and says, hey, you know, I was at my
doctor and they said that my you know, blood pressure
is high or my blood sugar is high.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
What can I do?
Speaker 2 (11:48):
You know, we want to find that root cause, you know,
is there something that's exacerbating this? Is there something in
your diet that we can make modifications to.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
How is your sleep?
Speaker 2 (11:58):
You know, is your sleep playing a role into this?
Are you not getting a good night's sleep? Is this
affecting your blood pressure and your blood sugar and in
turn is weakening your immune system which makes you more
prone to the common cold. But people have asked me
this before, They say, you know, it's so strange. Everybody
(12:19):
in my office was sick and I didn't get sick.
And then there's other times where just a couple of
people are, you know, coughing and sneezing, and I get it,
but nobody else did. So, you know, how do you
explain this? You know, how do you explain why you
can be on a packed subway and everybody's coughing and
(12:39):
creeping and you walk away with no issues. And then
another time, you know, you don't even realize where you
picked up a virus along your your travels, So so
much of this comes down to our stress management. How
well our immune defenses are at the ready, I always say,
(13:01):
to be able to fight off or fend off any
type of a virus. So this is why we turn
to things like the probiotic immune during this time of year,
start taking one capsule of that probiotic Immune. Now, this
is a unique probiotic that we brought into our line
(13:24):
a couple of years ago. It's a blend, so it's
a multi strain probiotic. And this is always important, folks,
because you can find a lot of probiotics out there.
You can walk into a Walgreens, for example, and you
can find probiotic. So probiotics have become incredibly trendy through
the years. But probiotics are part of what makes our
(13:47):
immune defenses so strong because this is what dictates our microbiom.
We know there's a lot of things that can affect
or disrupt our microbiome. So every single day we're walking
around with bacteria in our gut, and ideally that bacteria
(14:09):
is intended to keep us healthy.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Now are there.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Times when we can have a shift in those bacteria
that can create a problem for us in terms of
having a weakened immune system, of course, and we know
that there's many factors that can play into this. So
when we start to look at taking probiotic immune and
(14:35):
we realize this is a multi strain, so you're getting
four different types of healthy bacteria, and this is partnered
up with zinc and vitamin D. So when we're thinking
of our immune system, we should always be thinking of
vitamin D and zinc. Of course, your vitamin C is
(14:56):
very important too, but zinc is such a critical mineral.
It's similar to when you're looking at magnesium. Magnesium is
required for over three hundred different enzymatic functions in the body,
same thing with zinc, so zinc helps with the regulation
of thyroid function. We know the thyroid is important for
body temperature control, so we were just looking at this
(15:18):
study looking at how mindfulness can help with regulating body temperature.
So we know zinc is a key player in this
as well. And zinc also very helpful when it comes
to circulatory support when it comes to improving your blood
glucose control. Oftentimes people don't realize how your minerals, things
(15:41):
like magnesium and zinc, play a very important role each
and every single day in regulating blood sugar. So there's
an enormous amount of research out there now that really
zeros in on this. So of course we need to
have zinc for our immune defenses. So taking the probiotic
(16:04):
immune is kind of that first step in that right direction.
So you take one capsule a day. Now. Do keep

the common cold. But I'm looking at the clock and
I realize I do need to squeeze in a quick break,

are potentially picking up, whether you go into one of
(18:26):
our stores or if you give us call, or if
you are on our website. Now, the Journal of Nutrients
just this year was talking about the clinical efficacy of
probiotics for we're leaving cold symptoms. So they took a
group of individuals. This was a randomized, double blind, plus
EBO controlled trial that is the gold standard trials.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
That we like to assess.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
So they said, okay, we've heard all about you know,
probiotics and how these can help with the AMU system.
And certainly you've heard Jerry and I talk about the
gut brain connection and for mood support, how helpful taking
one of our probiotics can be. And we have many
different probiotics available and BTE health today I'm talking specifically
(19:17):
about the probiotic immune because this partner's up the vitamin
D along with the zinc with those four different strains
of healthy bacteria. So in this study, they took a
group of individuals and they had them taking either a
placebo or taking a multi strained probiotic, and they did
(19:38):
this for twelve weeks and then they were looking at,
you know, different trends, you know, did these people come
down with the common cold? You know, did was there
any other factors playing into this? And they found that
taking this combination blend of probiotics effectively alleviated cold symptoms
(20:01):
and reduced these different markers for inflammation. So they were
looking specifically at cytokines.
Speaker 3 (20:08):
So they said they could.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
See from all of the blood work that they were
doing on these individuals that the levels of inflammation had
come down and for those individuals who did come across
a cold, that.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
The duration of which they.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
Had those symptoms was significantly minimized. So certainly we know
that incorporating in probiotic is just across the board very
Smart's great for digestive health. Certainly we can look at
blood glucose regulation. Even taking the probiotic immune is beneficial
(20:49):
when we're looking at that gut brain connection and the
gut liver connection. Here's another little fun fact about probiotics
is when we're looking at daily detoxification and its technical
name is metabolic detoxification. But if we're dealing with all
of these different contaminants out there in our environment, whether
(21:12):
that's air pollution, whether that's processed foods, and all the
different chemicals that we're exposed to, we know that our
liver needs extra love each day, and we know that
between the gut and the liver, there's a very strong
communication pathway that occurs. So when we start to take
(21:37):
a product like the probiotic Immune, not only are we
supporting healthy digestive track and bolstering up our immune defenses,
but we're also in turn helping with daily detoxification and
that gut brain connection. So for improvement across the board
(21:59):
when it comes to mood, and this is where for me,
the science is so impressive.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
With the power of probiotics.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Is looking at individuals who suffer with conditions such as
anxiety and depression, and once you start to create this
really nice balance within the microbiome, how much that can
make a difference in someone's everyday mood. So just across
the board, probiotics should be part of your daily routine.
(22:29):
And we've made it easy because we actually put vitamin
D and zinc in that probiotic immune, so it's like
this triple effect for powering up your immune system. Now,
let's also look at the green Tea TX. This is
one of my favorites when it comes to cold and
flu season, and because I know it's starting to probably
(22:51):
get a little chill in the air up there in
New York, it's a nice thing to have, and just
put two full droppers in with maybe six ounces of
water and you can warm that up. It's not going
to degrade. I always like to put this out there.
It's not going to degrade the power of those catechins,
(23:11):
so that EGCG, they're heat stable, so you can warm
that up and it's still going to work for you.
So study after study have shown the way in which EGCG,
this very powerful caatekin that's contained within green tea, works
(23:32):
to create balance within the immune system. It's working kind
of synergistically with our white blood cells and it helps
with the regulation of those cytokinds, which are what can
drive up inflammation and weaken the immune system. And I've
talked about the study that they did in the nursing
(23:53):
home where they gave individuals green tea and they had
them gargle with green tea, and they found that in
double blind place ebo control trial that those individuals who
were gargling with the green tea high potent caatekins that EGCG,
had a reduction in the likelihood of getting the flu.
(24:16):
So I mean that's just a win across the board.
So this is a great product to turn to during
this time. Plus we already know all the other benefits
that go along with green tea, such as natural thermogenesis.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
So maybe you're.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Looking to, you know, cut a few pounds.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
Here or there.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
We know that that EGCG goes into the system and
it has this really finite ability to create a natural
mechanism for our fat cells to want to burn.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Which is great.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
Now, just some more details on our green TTX. This
is it's organic, it's decaffeinated, it's kosher, there's zero calories
in this. I always advise taking two full droppers, and
when you're doing that, you're getting as much EGCG as
if you were drinking, you know, two or three cups
(25:14):
of brewed green tea.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
And just by the way, this is another area that
you should be aware of.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
If you are a tea drinker, please either use the
green TEATX or if you you know, are a fan
of brewing your teas, use organic. They're finding more and
more clutter in tea bags over the past couple of years,
(25:43):
really starting to to analyze the contents of this. And
they did this year's ago with coffee and they're like,
oh goodness, this is like sawdust in many different coffees.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
This is for myself.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
I'm a huge coffee drinker. I only drink organic coffee.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Should have that same look.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
When doing tea want to minimize They know that there's
a lot of different microplastics that they're finding in tea bags.
So you just you have to be very conscientious. And
we know enough now to know it's not that difficult
for us to make smarter choices. So you don't want
to cut corners when it comes.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
To your health. So this you just add water.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
So you take your green TTX, you just add some
water to this, and you are making yourself a super drink.
We know it's helping with blood sugar regulation, it's helping
with liver detoxication, it's helping with our microbiome, and it's
regulating inflammation. So for individuals who are even dealing with arthritis,
(26:49):
adding in that green TTX very helpful. It has additional
vitamin C that's added into this, so even when you're
looking at skin health, you know you're sipping on your
green TTX, but we know that that vitamin C can
be very helpful when it comes to supporting collagen, and
(27:11):
we know that collagen loss starts to increase as we age,
and this is why you start to see more fine
lines and wrinkles. So here's just another benefit of sipping
on the Green TTX each and every single day. It
has natural theenine in this. So theenine is an amino acid,
(27:34):
but the way that it's working is to to help
the body release gaba. So gaba is our calming neurotransmitter,
so it helps with daily stress.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
It helps with your mood.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
So the EGCG, the power of the EGCG within our
green tea tincture is so beneficial just across the board
when it comes to anti aging, and you probably heard
me use the term inflammaging. So that's accelerated aging brought
(28:08):
on because of chronic inflammation. So anything we can do
to combat inflammation, each and every single day we should
be looking at. We should be assessing ways that we
can minimize inflammation plus yield all these other benefits. So
(28:29):
we know that those catakins can help coat the throat,
which is what can help fight off say, if you
breathe in something like the rhinovirus or coronaviruses are out
there influenza. So it helps to put this kind of
layer of protection. But at the same time it's doing
all of these other things. It's helping with that regulation
(28:52):
of inflammation, it's helping with of course blood sugar control.
It's fighting off the effects of chunky fat cells let's
just call them, because we know it can help with
the thermogenesis. So it's just a wonderful product across the board.
(29:13):
Like I said, it's organic, decaffeinated and it really makes
a super drink.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
It's something that I think is necessary during this time
of year. So I encourage you to check that one out. Remember,
if you use that promo code Amanda Woor, you'll get
that additional ten percent off.
Speaker 4 (29:37):
Welcome to Invite Radio. You're about to receive responsible, life
changing information on health and nutrition. You'll hear from Invite
professionals who are leaders and targeted and anti aging nutrition.
Get ready for tomorrow's nutritional science today right here, right now.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams, chief Science Officer at Invite Health, and boy
do I have many things to cover with you today.
Now keep in mind, any of the products that I
am going to discuss throughout the hour today are on
(30:24):
a buy one, get one free, but if you use
the promo code Amanda Woor, you're going to get an
additional ten percent off. So make sure you have your
piece of paper, You've got your pen or your pencil
out so you can write down what these products are,
(30:44):
so that when you give us a call, or you
stop by one of our stores, or you go to
our website, you know which products to zero in on.
So I'm going to do kind of a combination show
today zeroing in on some of the things that can
come up during this time of year. And of course
(31:06):
we have to always look at the immune system in
cold and flu season, and so you know, turning to
probiotic immune green TTX excellent choices. The power of green
Tea certainly has stood the test of time when it
comes to our immune defenses.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
And it's so easy to use.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
You just take two full droppers of our green TTX
loaded with that EGCG that's the powerful cadakin derived from
green tea, add that in with anywhere from four to
six ounces of water and sip on that. So that's
tip number one. The other thing is taking probiotic immune.
(31:49):
So this is a multi strain probiotic partnered up with
zinc and vitamin D. So it's just a great way
to enter into this time of year fully ready for
anything that may come your way. But during this time,
as the weather starts to shift and you get those
(32:11):
colder mornings, this is when I start to hear from
folks who go, oh, my goodness, Amanda, my knees are
so achy. Oh, I can tell with the weather, and
there's truth to this. We know that temperature can affect
our joints. So I want to talk about some different
(32:34):
products that we can incorporate in to help to give
our joints the support.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
That they need. And joint help to me.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Is something that you have to have kind of a
multi pronged approach. Now, one aspect of this clearly is
going to be diet. So adherence to a Mediterranean diet
is going to yield.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
You the most benefit.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
Avoiding ultra processed foods is key because all that's doing
is just driving up inflammation and you're just going to
be on.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
This vicious cycle.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
So and you don't want to be popping end SAIDs
all day long. This is just not a grand idea.
I'm not an advocate for folks having to, you know,
take their ibuprofen couple of times a day. The long
lasting harmful effects of taking end SAIDs is not well
(33:41):
talked about, but well known. So we can see with
issues with the seat of benefit and the effect that
that has in a really negative way on liver health.
Now you look at the other end SAIDs, which end
said means non steroidal anti inflammatory drug, but you look
(34:03):
at things like ibuprofen, for example, those really can be
quite harsh on your kidneys. So long term use of
any type of end set is something that we just
want to avoid, especially when well before folks. Let's just
(34:23):
think about this just for a moment, because I love
having these conversations with individuals who are not in this
world of wellness and nutrition and they say, oh, yeah,
that stuff that doesn't work. There's no science behind it.
And I've had this conversation with traditional doctors, by the way,
and I'll say, okay, so you're going to tell me
(34:45):
that something like curcumen, which has existed well before something
like ibuprofen, that kirkumen is ineffective when it comes to
lowering inflammation in the body.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
And then once we have that conversation.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Then we look at all the science and all of
the clinical studies and they kind of back off and go, oh, okay,
my bad, I didn't realize. So if we're looking at
what we can turn to as a natural alternative to
popping our IV profens or ourced of metaphins aka tail
and halls all day long, then we look at biocurcumen
(35:27):
five loxin. So the bio curcumin five loxin that we
offer is the partnering or the marrying of two incredibly
potent extracts. One is known as BCM ninety five. BCM
ninety five is the registered trademark form of curcumen, and
(35:51):
then we partner that with the registered trademark form of
boswelia extract, which is.
Speaker 3 (35:59):
Known is five locks.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
And so when you're taking this product, you get these
two nutrients.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
That have both stood the test of time and have both.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
Been studied right against end SAIDs and shown to be
more effective with no side effects. So this is why
when you hear me talk about this or Jerry talk
about biocurricumen five locks, and why we're both so passionate
(36:35):
about this product because it works and you don't have
to have that concern in your brain going, oh, how
many of these you know? End SAIDs am, I supposed
to take per day because I still have pain.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
And think about this just for a moment.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
If you are someone who is using ibuprofen every day
THEA leaves the motrens any of those tile and all,
what other benefit is that doing for you other than
trying to, you know, lessen your pain at the time,
What other benefit is it doing for you? Ask yourself that,
(37:14):
And the next time you have a conversation like this
with maybe your traditional doctor who's trying to poop poo
down anything about nutrition and wellness, maybe you ask them
that too, What are the other benefits of me taking
this as opposed to looking at Biocurcumen five locks in
where we know across the board the overall systemic benefits
(37:41):
that we're yielding for cholesterol management, blood sugar support, brain health,
respiratory health, joint health. So we know.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
That nature provides us.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
This, and then we get into the science on these
nutrients and that's where it's so impressive. In the Arthritis
Rheumatology Journal back in twenty eighteen, they looked at the
efficacy of Kirkman and Boswelia for knie osteoarthritis. Now keep
this in mind, Invite Health has had this product for many,
(38:21):
many years. So this study was done in twenty eighteen,
and you know, you almost have to think, were they
looking at the invite Health product and said, hey, look
at this. They partnered kirkumen with bosuelia. That's an interesting combination.
Speaker 3 (38:36):
And so they did a study.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
And in this study they said, let's look at all
of the different clinical studies on these two nutrients. So
they did an overall systematic review. They did this meta
analysis where they populated all of the data and they
were looking at the safety and the efficacy. You know,
how effective is taking cur extract, how effective is taking
(39:02):
boswalia extract when it comes to knee osteoarthritis, which is
the most common area that people get osteoarthritis. Remember, there's
fifty million Americans who are walking around every single day
with arthritis, and that's doctor diagnosed arthritis. So we're not
even adding in the folks that know that they've got
(39:23):
a sort achey knee every day or a soort achy
hip but have never been diagnosed formally by their doctor.
So it's millions and millions of Americans are dealing with this.
So they did this comparison. They said, let's see how
effective they are compared to end SAIDs. So they looked
(39:44):
at multiple randomized clinical trials comparing kercuminoid and boswelia formulations
versus placebo and end SAIDs, and what they found was
incredibly impressive. They found that the kerkcuminoid. So we're thinking
(40:08):
of our BCM ninety five, Why is that so darn
special Because it's not like a standard tumoric extract. A
standard tumeric extract oftentimes can be easily degraded. So say
you just walk into a Walgreen sort of vitamin shop
and you find a turmeric extract. You're going to Costco
(40:28):
and you find a turmeric extract. Oftentimes, as you're taking
that capsule, that tumoric is very prone to breaking down
just as soon as it hits the stomach acids. So
making it basically rendering it less effective doesn't mean it's
not working. It's just not as effective. So what makes
(40:50):
ours so unique, Well, ours is a incredibly high bioavailable
form of turmeric. So we actually take the turmeric root
itself and then way deep inside of that turmeric root
is where the kercuminoids are existing, So the curcumin and
(41:16):
what we use is the actual oils, So we're using
the kercuminoid oils. So those oils have this ability to
bypass that harsh stomach acid environment and make its way
into our system so that it can be clinically effective.
And this is what these studies are looking at. Same
(41:37):
thing with the bosuelia. So the form that we're using
that five loxin can make its way through that harsh
stomach acid environment and really do its action in the
system where we need it to. So they found that
(41:57):
this combination, the utilization of using kirkuman by itself or
using bizwelia by itself highly effective. But when you partnered
the two, when you married the two, like Invite Health did,
like Jerry Hickey did so many years ago, this is
where you get all of that power. And they said
(42:18):
this should be part of a standard treatment for osteoarthritis patients.
They said, not only is it highly effective, but you're
not running into the problems that standard end sets come
with those side effects which are numerous. So the Invite
(42:43):
Health biocurcumen five locks and is your natural alternative and
I always say, well, before pharmaceutical companies made end sets
before their existed ibupro, Nature gave us Bosuelia, Nature gave
(43:05):
us Curcumen, and fortunately for you, we had the insight
to be able to put them together and to create
this powerhouse formulation. And the feedback that we have had
on this product over the better part of well over
a decade. Individuals who had struggled with back pain, with
(43:29):
knee pain, and had tried tirelessly all different types of
things and were kind of at their wits end, and
then they came to Invite Health and they had a
conversation likely with one of our nutrition experts, or you
heard Jerry talk about bio Curcuman five locks and on
this program, and you said, you know what, I'm just
(43:49):
gonna I'm gonna get this product. I'm going to try it.
We have people who were like, I will not be
without this product. And then to know all of the
other side benefits that go along with supplementing with this,
how helpful this is for as I mentioned, blood sugar regulation,
for brain health, for overall respiratory health. So you definitely

welcome back Invite Health Radio. So As talked about the
effectiveness of our biokirkmit in five locks, and you can
go to our website. You can look at the reviews
on this product. People love this formulation. I fully understand
why so many different.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
Uses for it.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
But you know, if you are dealing with any level
of discomfort or pain because of arthritis, because of you know,
maybe you went out and you overdid it, you know,
working out and you have muscle aches, please utilize this product.
Speaker 3 (46:20):
It can be a game changer.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
I remember working with a gentleman whose mother was dealing
just with chronic chronic pain, and you know, he didn't.
Speaker 3 (46:32):
Know what to do.
Speaker 2 (46:32):
He was like, I feel so bad my poor mom.
You know what what can we do here? And so
I said, well, we're going to do a couple of things.
We're going to really pay attention to the foods that
she's eating, and we're gonna be adding in the bio
Curcuman five locks, and we're gonna add in the flex
HX because that's another product that I find so helpful.
(46:55):
So wh I'm gonna talk about that one in just
a moment. But when you're looking at the speed in
which the Biokirkman five locks can start making a difference
for people who are dealing with pain, it's really quite impressive.
Speaker 3 (47:12):
Now, how should you take it?
Speaker 2 (47:13):
Say you do have a lot of chronic pain and
you're like, okay, I'm gonna try this Biokurcuman five locks,
and that she's talking about, how do I take it? Okay, Well,
it's very potent, So I always advise taking it with food.
Doesn't mean you have to have a big, heavy meal,
but just have something in your stomach. And generally speaking,
if you are having a high amount of pain, I
(47:36):
advise doing two caps twice a day for at least
three or four days, and then you can start to taper.
Speaker 3 (47:43):
Back and then you can do, you know, one cap
twice a day.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
A lot of this is you know, kind of based
on your own personal and.
Speaker 3 (47:52):
You'll be able to tell how you deal with pain.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
Pain is, you know, very much subjective, and so how
you deal with pain. So for some folks that may say,
you know what, I just really like taking three caps
of Biokurkuman every single day, I find that does the
best for managing my discomfort. I have other folks who
take one a day, so you know, once again, working
(48:19):
with one of our nutritional advisors can also give you
that insight. We know just from you know, years and
years of research studies done on both kuren and boswelia
extract how effective these are.
Speaker 3 (48:36):
I mean, the British Medical.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
Journal, their Sports Exercise wing of that journal was looking
at whether supplementation with Kirkumen was effective at pain management
in individuals who had as doe arthritis, and once again
they could see the impressive outcomes in that and just
(48:58):
such a.
Speaker 3 (48:59):
Short amount of time.
Speaker 2 (49:00):
You know, many of the studies that are conducted are
usually in that eight to twelve week timeframe. I will
say that for folks who are dealing with a lot
of pain, once they start using the Biokirkman five locks
and you can start to really see a noticeable shift
within the first couple of days. And you know, like
I said, if you're not sure how you should be
(49:21):
taking it for your specific pain level, talk to one
of our wellness advisors. They're available seven days a week,
so you can always stop by one of the stores.
If you're not near one of our stores. Which you
can find all of the store locations on our website.
So go to invitehealth dot com look at the stores tab.
(49:42):
It'll give you the location, hours and phone numbers of
all of our stores. But if you can't make it
into one of the stores, you can give us a call.
We're happy to patch you through to speak with one
of our experts, of which we have many, so you know,
please take advantage of talking to to one of our
wonderful folks. We have doctor Claire over in Forest Hills.
(50:06):
We've got Gail who's been with us for so many
years and she really has her own following over there
at New Hyde Park, So you know, definitely reach out
to them because they're so passionate about what they do
every single day, and they just want to help you.
Speaker 3 (50:24):
You know, they want to help you help yourself.
Speaker 2 (50:26):
I always say, this is what we do Invite Health,
is we help you help yourself and it is a
free service, So do tap into that resource.
Speaker 3 (50:34):
So I had mentioned the.
Speaker 2 (50:35):
Flex achecks, so I love to partner up the flex
aychecks along with the Biocurcumen five locks, and especially for
someone who has new pain. And when I say new pain,
maybe you're at the gym, or you're out playing pick
a ball or doing something and you say, gosh, I
think I tweaked my knee or I tweaked my back.
(50:57):
Flex please use the flex. I have such great feedback
on this product, and flex HX is really, in and
of itself, such a interesting blend that Jerry Hickey put
together many years ago. It is a hydrolyzed collagen, So
(51:19):
we already know collagen is very important. As we get older,
we continue to lose collagen. As collagen levels go down.
We can see those effects in every single system, so
not just in your joints. You know, the weakening of
the bones because of loss of collagen, fine lines and wrinkles.
(51:40):
Your hair isn't you know, as lush as it once
used to be, all because of loss of collagen, the
weakening of our vascular system. We have to have collagen
for the lining of our blood vessels, so collagen is
very key. So it only makes sense that if we
know something that's so we know that by the time
(52:01):
we hit fifty sixty years old, we've lost about fifty
percent of our collagen. So that's a known fact. What's
the remedy? Okay, Well, if we know we lost something
and we can simply start taking collagen peptides and put
that back into the system. Okay, kind of have a
solution here, now, don't we. So we take the flex echecks,
(52:23):
which contains hydrolyzed collagen. It's partnered up with bromolane, which
is one of my go to phaves. I love bromolane.
That's a proteolytic enzyme. It comes from the stem of
the pineapple. The way proteolytic enzymes work is always I
describe it like pac Man.
Speaker 3 (52:41):
So I go back to.
Speaker 2 (52:42):
Old school arcades, folks, and you think of how pac
Man went through and gobbled up all those little dots.
This is what bromolaine can do for you. So if
you have inflammation that's occurring in your joints, the bromolane
can go in and start to gobble that up. So
we have are hydrolyzed collagen partnered with the bromo lane.
(53:04):
Then we use a really unique form of chondroyten, so
it's called dermatin sulfate. Now, not all chondroytens are created
the same. So if you just go in and you
just get a standard run of the mill chondroit and supplement.
How effective will that be in the long term always
(53:27):
difficult to say because you have to look at sourcing.
So this is why we use the dermatin sulfate, so
it's called Chondroyt and sulfate B.
Speaker 3 (53:35):
This is where the clinical studies are really out there.
Speaker 2 (53:42):
This is where they say, if you want to have
analgesic which is pain relieving, anti inflammatory as well as
structural repair support coming from kindroyten, this is.
Speaker 3 (53:57):
The form you have to use.
Speaker 2 (53:59):
So of course this is the form that we use
at Invite. We also have copper and manganese in this
formulation and this is important because both copper and manganese
these are we're looking at trace minerals. These play very
(54:20):
distinctive roles in helping to repair our cartilage, in helping
to support bone density, and we know that potential deficiencies
in either of these or both of these can start
to create some significant problems for us. So this is
(54:44):
why because oftentimes people look at this and say, why
is there why is there manganese in this product? Or
you know, why do you guys have copper in this?
So this is why we have this in there because
it helps with connective tissue formation.
Speaker 3 (54:57):
They both possess.
Speaker 2 (54:59):
Anti inf flammatory properties to them. There's a really interesting
study that was done. Let me pull the the actual
the actual journal, so I can share this with you
because it was in the Frontiers in Medicine journal and
(55:20):
they were looking at the impact of trace elements in osteoarthritis.
So the reason why I wanted to share this with
you is because I think this kind of is speaking
volume as to why we use this. And this was
published in twenty twenty one and they were talking about
you know, osteoarthritis and how this is age related degenerative disease,
(55:44):
the loss of that that cartilage, the damage done to
other joint tissue that is occurring, and so that they
started to look at these different trace minerals and they said, okay,
if we have a deficiency, for example, in things like manganese, copper, magnesium, zinc,
(56:04):
this can be a problem for being an overall risk
factor for worsening or developing as to arthritis.
Speaker 3 (56:13):
But then they started to look.
Speaker 2 (56:15):
At antioxidant values of these different trace minerals. Then they
started to look at the anti inflammatory value. Then they
started to look at how it helps with chondracite proliferation.
Speaker 3 (56:27):
So this is the building up of that cartilage again.
Speaker 2 (56:31):
And what was interesting is copper manganese kept coming up.
So you look at structurally speaking, how our body utilizes
different trace minerals and understanding that the standard American diet
generally is not yielding a high enough exposure, which is
why I always encourage folks make sure you're taking one
(56:52):
of the Invite Health multi vitamins every day just to
cover those bases. But when you look at the joint
health itself and you say, wow, okay, so in order
for the joint spaces to work properly, it relies on
things like manganese, something maybe you haven't even thought of
(57:12):
or heard of before, But this is why we have
this in the flex HX, So it's really giving you
this full comprehensive support when it comes to the underlying issues,
those structural issues that can be occurring. And having that
really unique form of ken droyten, the way in which
(57:37):
ken droyten they oftentimes refer to it as a drug
in different clinical studies because they know that it has
these anti inflammatory as well as those analgesic or those
pain relieving properties.
Speaker 3 (57:52):
So for individuals who.
Speaker 2 (57:53):
Are dealing with a significant amount of joint destruction, whether
this is coming in the form of US you A arthritis,
or even rheumatoid arthritis, we really want to be able
to hone in on what we can structurally be doing
to rebuild this. And when we're doing this, we have
to do it in the right way. We have to
(58:15):
be using the form that we know is going to
be absorbed and actually utilized to help with that rebuilding
of that cartilage. And this is what makes flex HX
so incredibly unique. It's the really well thought out way
of merging these different nutrients that give you this comprehensive
(58:40):
way to address the loss of collagen, higher levels of inflammation,
and to not just put a band aid on something.
Once again, we can look at those insets. We know
that those insets, taking your ibuprofen, taking your leap, taking
your tiling all every day, all you're doing is putting
(59:03):
a band aid on that at the same time running
the risk of side effects to go with that. But
when you are using collagen, chondroiten, manganese copper and that
edition of that bromo laine, that proteolytic enzyme or actually
(59:23):
allowing for true healing and repair. And you can once
again look at those reviews on our website, people say
this is the best stuff. It's been a lifesaver for me.
People love this product. So this is always my kind
of my one two combo when I'm dealing with anyone
(59:46):
who is dealing with knee pain, hip pain, back pain,
shoulder pain. Flex HX and oftentimes I'll say in the beginning,
take one scoop twice a day for you know, maybe
five days, then use one scoop a day after that,
because we want to keep building that collagen. We want
(01:00:08):
to put that collagen back in. Remember every decade we're
losing more and more collagen. So it's a benefit to
take a collagen formulation each day and then we partner
that with that Biokirkman five locks and telling you folks,
you will feel like a different person. And we have
to look at joint mobility too. You know, it's not
(01:00:28):
just about reducing, you know, the level of pain that
someone's in. We're also looking at the flexibility within the joint,
the mobility of a joint.
Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
So this is why.
Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
The multi modal way in which flex ACHEX and Biokirkuman
five locks and are working really provide.
Speaker 3 (01:00:52):
A significant amount of support.
Speaker 2 (01:00:54):

welcome back to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams.
(01:02:30):
I guess so excited to talk about these products, the
flex hax the Biokurcman five locks, and of course we
can look at cartilage.
Speaker 3 (01:02:38):
HX as being.
Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
A lovely add on when we're thinking of our joints.
So the cartilage h AXI is a unique formulation. It
is a registered trademark type two undernatured collagen. What in
the world does that mean and how is that different
than a regular collagen? Well, regular collagen like what you
(01:03:03):
find in flex HX, for example, that is predominantly type one,
which is important because over ninety percent of the collagen
found in the body is type one.
Speaker 3 (01:03:16):
But what's unique.
Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
About type two? So type two collagen is in its
regular native form, which is why we call it the undnatured.
Speaker 3 (01:03:29):
So this is important.
Speaker 2 (01:03:30):
So the way that the body is going to actually
take the sense when you're taking a capsule of the
cartilage HX, how your body's going to utilize this. So
it goes into the system, and unlike type one collagen
that's working on that replenishment of lost collagen, what type
two collagen is actually doing is it's working to regulate
(01:03:55):
your immune system. And this is so key, especially in
that setting of rheumatoid arthritis, but also in the setting
of osteoarthritis. And why do I say this, Well, because
we know that osteoarthritis has a strong autoimmune component to
it as well, so you know, not as defined and
(01:04:18):
clearly evident as rheumatoid arthritis, but it's still it's an
overreaction of the immune system that's driving up all of
this inflammation. So when we're looking at cartilage HX, which
contains you see too this under natured type two collagen
(01:04:40):
to help to maintain joint help. This is where all
of the scientific research studies come into play, and they're
still studying this exact form that we use in our
cartilage HX as most recently back in twenty twenty two
in the Journey of Integrative and Complementary medicine, they were
(01:05:02):
looking at UC two for knee joint flexibility. So they
did this randomized, double blind, placebo controlled trial looking at
individuals who were given either a placebo or given the
cartilage HX or given the the UC too. And they
wanted to see not only you know, as far as
(01:05:23):
their their level of discomfort, you know, did pain levels
go down, But they really wanted to see for a
range of motion and flexibility. And this is why we
had mentioned this in the previous segment about flex ahex.
We're not just trying to target the pain.
Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
That someone is in.
Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
We will also want to make sure that we maintain
the mobility and the flexibility. This is why when you
look at arthritis in general as overall, you know, partnering
up you know, rheumatoid arthritis along with US to arthritis.
This is one of the biggest debilitating diseases that occurs,
(01:06:07):
not just here in this country but throughout the world.
And you know, it's not just the pain that someone
is in, it's that loss of function, it's the loss
of mobility. So this study, this is what they really
honed in on. They were looking at how daily supplementation
(01:06:28):
of just that forty milligrams a day, and that's all
that you need. There is no need whatsoever to be
taking more than one capsule of cartilage HAX a day.
The clinical studies have shown us that that is all
that you need, is you just take one capsule a day,
So it's very easy. And how much improvement individuals can
(01:06:50):
then have when it comes to range of motion and
flexibility and of course that reduction in overall pain and discomfort.
So the way that they stumbled upon UC two I
always find so fascinating. You know, researchers back at Stanford
were assessing the way in which like bone broth and
(01:07:15):
looking at chicken noodle soup because researchers at University of
Wisconsin we're looking at this, and so the Stanford guys
were like, hey, well let's look at.
Speaker 3 (01:07:21):
This too, and they kept saying, you know, what is
it about?
Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
You know, is this a myth about chicken noodle soup
and that somehow people have chicken noodle soup it gives
them this immune system of protection. And welcome to find
out it's this really unique form of collagen. It's this
type two under natured collagen that's actually yielding all of
that protective benefit because it works in our system as
(01:07:50):
kind of a way to regulate the immune defenses. So
it's really fascinating for me, you know, having a love
of immunology and virology and microbiology, all of that fun
and stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:08:08):
I look at you know, type.
Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
Two undnatured collagen and I just say wow. You know,
in study after study, whether you know, they were looking
at individuals with rheumatorid arthritis and saying, wow, this helps
to auto regulate the immune system where their immune system
is traditionally attacking the joint when they gave them you
(01:08:30):
see too, the cartilage HX.
Speaker 3 (01:08:33):
It helped to regulate the.
Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
Immune system so that the immune system itself wasn't saying hey,
let's go attack that joint and continue to destroy it.
But then you go even beyond that, and you say, okay,
well what about in standard arthritis. It doesn't still have
that same effectiveness. Yes, and study after study has shown this.
Speaker 3 (01:08:53):
Then they said, well, let's just take some really healthy folks.
Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
Let's let's take some folks who you know are into
working out, and they're generally quote unquote they're healthy. Let's
see how well under natured type two collegen this UC
two is working for joint support. So this was randomized,
double blind placebo control trial once again, and they did
this for one hundred and twenty days, and they wanted
(01:09:18):
to look at joint function. They were looking at knee extension.
They said, this is really quite amazing. The individuals who
were taking the forty milligrams of type two under natured
collagen every single day had improved knee joint extension. They
(01:09:41):
were also reporting back as pain free. So they had
them doing these workouts, you know, and some individuals that
were in the placebo group were like, yeah, my joints
are a little achy. Yeah, I'm a little stiff, this
is sore.
Speaker 3 (01:09:54):
In the UC two.
Speaker 2 (01:09:55):
Group, they're like, hey, I feel great. I feel really good,
and look at I have all this, you know, newfound flexibility.
So this is just, you know, one of those things
where it doesn't matter what your underlying joint health concern is.
Maybe you're very active and you just want to remain
(01:10:16):
that way. Maybe you're already dealing with a significant amount
of pain and inflammation within your joints, maybe you've been
diagnosed with arthritis. Adding in that cartilage HX can make
a big difference for you each and every single day,
so that is also on special So that's the cartilage HX.
(01:10:42):
Now I want to shift focus a little bit and
I want to talk about brain health. When I said
at the top of the hour today that with the
colder weather slowly creeping up on you there in the Northeast,
joint health is always one certain more people say, ah
soon is the weather shifts that can tell my joints
(01:11:04):
get achy. But another thing that happens is it can
start to affect your mood. So that change in weather,
those you colder mornings, the gray skies, the dampness in
the air, it can affect your mood. And we have
(01:11:25):
so many different products available that are so beneficial when
it comes to giving your brain cells a break. And
that's the best way to put it, because many folks
are stressed out. Many folks have a lot on their plate,
and then you add insult injury if you're affected by weather.
(01:11:52):
I always say I was very much so affected by
weather when I lived in Michigan. You know, growing up
in Michigan, I didn't realize that the weather wasn't the
best beautiful there.
Speaker 3 (01:12:02):
In the summer.
Speaker 2 (01:12:03):
But it's one of those things where I didn't realize
that the gray skies and the cold, damp air, how
much that affected my mood. So now understanding this, I realize, Wow,
there's so many things that we can do to help
fight off oxidative stress and give the brain the ability
(01:12:26):
to help regenerate with that neuroplasticity. So we have many
different formulations, one of which is Super Focused IQ. This
is hands down one of the most comprehensive brain health
formulations that you can be taking. It's a powdered formulation,
very easy to take across the board for everybody in
(01:12:46):
the family when you look at individuals who are dealing
with problems with attention. So this is why I say
across the board for everybody in the family, because many
individuals will reach out to me and say, hey, you
know I have you know, one of my kids is
struggling a little bit with at tension deficit. Is there
something that you know we should be incorporating in And
of course diet plays a huge role into this, adherence
(01:13:09):
to a Mediterranean diet, taking in Omega three fatty acids,
making sure you have good vitamin D levels. But then
looking at Superfocus IQ, which is this combination of what
are known as neotropics. So nootropics are in their true term,
it's like they're smart drugs. They're cognitive enhancers. They encourage
(01:13:32):
sell to sell connections within the brain, and who doesn't
want that, right? You want to be firing on all cylinders.
Speaker 3 (01:13:39):
And this is what.
Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
The blend of these nutrients, these new tropics that are
contained in super Focus IQ are actually doing. It helps
to energize the brain. And these are these natural molecules
that overall they're improving not just the brain sell energy,
but that of brain cells. I always say, you can't
(01:14:03):
fool anybody if you think that your brain cells don't
get dinged up and dented along the way as we
traverse through life. So we want to be able to
repair that. We want to be able to renew those
brain cells. And super Focus IQ helps with a healthy
stress response. It has these powerful antioxidants to fight off
(01:14:24):
oxidative stress. And I'm going to talk about what's actually
in this formulation, but I'm looking at the clock. I
realize I do need to squeeze in a quick final break.

(01:15:57):
am doctor Amanda Williams talking about the super Phoks IQ.
This was formerly called Cerebral Care and oftentimes we would
get questions, what in the world is.
Speaker 3 (01:16:08):
That so super Focus IQ. This tells you what this
product is doing.
Speaker 2 (01:16:12):
It is this combination of these neotropics or these smart
drugs as they are known. So it has anostol in
this anocetol and its own right is kind of like
a little B vitamin, very very helpful for blood sugar regulation.
For women who are dealing with pcos for example, anocetol
(01:16:33):
can be very very helpful. And then when we're looking
at it in this setting, we know that it is
needed for neurotransmitter activity and helping the brain cells with
communicating with one another, and that's what we want. We
want to make sure that our brain cells are connecting
and talking to one another, very helpful for serotonin release,
(01:16:55):
so to enhance overall mood. This product also contains acetyl
l carnatine, oftentimes shortened to.
Speaker 3 (01:17:03):
L CAR and this allows for.
Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
The energy to be produced within the brain. And we
know that as we get older once again, carnatine levels
can shift. The acetyl L carnatine has this really unique
ability to cross the blood brain barrier easily, so we
can get that energy into the brain and it really
(01:17:26):
helps one scum with supporting mood.
Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
And cognitive function. It has CDP coaling. Now this is interesting.
Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
CDP coaling is part of the membrane of the cell.
So your brain cell itself, it has colin in that.
Now the colin's doing a couple of different things. One structurally,
it's keeping that cell shapes because we don't want that
that dinged up and the dented cell. The other thing
that it does is it helps to produce the neurotransmitter
(01:17:57):
acetyl colin. Now, acetyl coline is the primary neurotransmitter responsible
for us to be able to remember things, so for
memory production, memory retention, acetyl coalin is so key. So
having CDP coaling in this product allows for the structure
(01:18:23):
support of the brain cell. But at the same time
it helps the brain cells produce acetyl coaling, which is great.
Then it has phosphatital seeringes, so this is another key
membrane fat So it helps with that structure, keeping the
brain cell protected, maintaining its shape. And then it also
(01:18:45):
does a fabulous job at regulating what is known as
the HPA access. So that's the hypothalmis pituitary adrenal access
of we're dealing with stress, like for me, for example,
dealing with you know, the loss that just happen with
the tigers. So fossil title syringe should be my friend,
right because it helps the body regulate that cortisol response.
(01:19:10):
And then it has asked does anthon? So asked does
anthon very powerful natural carotenoid beneficial not just for eyehealth
and fighting off UV light that's coming from the sun
and also your light emitting devices, but asked does anthon?
Is very helpful to fight off free radicals and to
(01:19:31):
help to protect brain cells from ox stative stress.
Speaker 3 (01:19:35):
So that's the super focused IQ.
Speaker 2 (01:19:38):
We certainly know that when you look at the clinical
research on these different nutrients. You know, they've studied these
nutrients in college students and finding you know that the
supplementation of these nutrients led to a twenty percent increase
(01:19:59):
in processing.
Speaker 3 (01:20:00):
Speeds in just two weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:20:03):
You know, as they were taking their exams, they had
like close to forty percent reduction of mistakes that they were.
Speaker 3 (01:20:08):
Making and just in two weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
So we know that when you start using super focus
IQ that this is really going to be this lovely
natural remedy for focused attention, stress, mood, and of course
for memory and beyond. So so that product that is
on special. What time of day should you take it
(01:20:31):
really just varies.
Speaker 3 (01:20:32):
You know, many folks will will take this first.
Speaker 2 (01:20:35):
Thing in the morning kind of get your day off
to the to the races and you know, feel like
you're very focused on top of things. I have some
individuals who will take it at the end of their day,
helps them with kind of decompressing. Can you use it
in the morning and the afternoon, of course you can.
Speaker 3 (01:20:54):
Best way to utilize.
Speaker 2 (01:20:55):
Any of our formulations is to speak with one of
our wellness advisors and have a chat with them so
that we can personalize your nutrition routine. I also have
the creatine model hydrate on special creatine not just for
you know, for weight lifters. Certainly creatine is so incredibly
(01:21:21):
important when it comes to, you know, improvement of sleep quality.
In the Journal of Nutrients, they were they did a
study looking at total sleep duration.
Speaker 3 (01:21:33):
So they had.
Speaker 2 (01:21:34):
Individuals who were doing resistance training and looking at you know,
when you're really pushing the body and we potentially throw
off a sleep cycle in that circadian rhythm, what impact
would creatine monohydrate have. And this was a really fascinating
study and they found that creatine supplementation increase the the
(01:21:56):
sleep duration on individuals that had really been pushing themselves,
so they were getting much better sleep quality and hence
muscle repair, muscle recovery was occurring.
Speaker 3 (01:22:08):
Because of that.
Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
So when you think of a product like the creatine monohydrate,
I always like folks to understand, you know, the improvements
for cognitive performance that can go along with that the
improvement of sleep quality.
Speaker 3 (01:22:24):
It's not just.
Speaker 2 (01:22:25):
About hey, I'm trying to you know, bulk up my muscles.
Of course, it's key, especially for you know, trying to
fight off cycleopenia or age related muscle mass loss. We
always want to be looking at the creatine monohydrate as
being a go to nutrient, but across the board when
it comes to memory. Their study after study that continue
(01:22:46):
to impress upon the importance of this amino acid in
particular for overall cognitive function. So don't overlook creatine monohydrate
as part of your little arsenal when it comes to
brain health. So you're super focus IQ along with the
creatine monohydrate excellent one two punch there.
Speaker 3 (01:23:09):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:23:10):
I also have the Cocoa HX on special. And the
reason why I have the coco HX powerful nutrient, those
cocoa flavanols when it comes to brain health, but also
it kind of warms your heart. So as you start
to get into those colder mornings, so there's colder evenings,
you can turn to the coco HX. You just take
(01:23:30):
one scoop of that. You can warm that up. You're
not gonna break down the cocoa flavanols. The power of
those antioxidants. They will remain very potent and powerful even
when you heat that up and the taste is wonderful.
You can add it in, you know, with some type
of you know, malk alternative, if you'd like to do that,
(01:23:51):
you can certainly, you know, have it in something like yogurt.
Speaker 3 (01:23:55):
That's also a very good option.
Speaker 2 (01:23:57):
But if you want something to kind of sip on
in the evening and it helps with you know, really
targeting all that oxidative stress, any of those pollutants that
you've picked up along the way. The Coco HX, this
powerhouse coco flavanol formulation that we offer is definitely a
excellent choice for you to turn to. And once again,
(01:24:19):
when you're it doesn't matter if we're looking at creatine
or if we're looking at coco or you know, we're
looking at collegeen And does all of these different formulations
that I've been discussing have such a significantly high amount
of clinical studies on them? In the Journal of Nutrients
(01:24:40):
in just twenty twenty four, they did a meta analysis
of different randomized placebo control trials on COCO and the
overall benefit when it came to cardio metabolic risk markers.
So looking at how individuals who took powerful coco flavanols
found in Coco HX could lower their cholesterol levels had
(01:25:02):
improvement on blood sugar levels and hemoglobin A one C.
So we know that if we take these formulations we're
getting multimodal benefits coming from them. So do check out
all of those products Biokirkman five blocks in FLEXHX, of
(01:25:23):
course the Coco HX creatine monohydrate.
Speaker 3 (01:25:26):
Super Focus IQ.
