Speaker 3 (00:37):
Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams, chief Science Officer at Invite Health, and happy
Saturday morning to everyone. We are already fully into November.
Thanksgiving is around the corner, so I'm going to talk
about a couple of products today that can be very

(00:59):
helpful for the holiday kickoff and when people have a
tendency to overeat, to overindulge. This is such a common
thing and people come to us and they say, oh,
you know, I was at this holiday party and you
know I'm packing on some extra weight. So I have
some tips for you. I have our Phase two formulation

(01:21):
on special today as well as our trim HX on
top of a couple of other products that I'm going
to discuss today. Now at the top of the hour,
you will be listening to Jerry Hickey and he will
be telling you all about many other nutrients to support
your health and wellness. You're gonna want to stick around.

(01:43):
And the other thing that you want to do is,
as I'm talking about different products today, if you use
the promo code Amanda wo R, that's going to give
you an additional ten percent off. So the products are
already at a buy one, get one free, but you
get an extra ten percent off. I mean it's savings

(02:03):
on top of savings. And you know, you have so
many different places now that are already kicking off their
their holiday sales. Seems like they now start like Black
Friday sales like in July. So it's always interesting. But
here on Invite Health Radio, we always have wonderful savings

(02:24):
for you. And when you use those promo codes, so
Amanda wo OR, you get that additional ten percent off.
So let's get right to it. I want to first
talk about our mushroom HX formulation as well as melatonin,
and these to me are important nutrients as we get
into the holiday season. And making sure that we are

(02:49):
keeping our immune systems strong as well as getting good,
RESTful night sleep. Sometimes the holiday season gets a little stressful. Melatonin, guys,
this is one of those supplements that I think sometimes
gets just put into the box of for sleep only,
and it certainly goes far beyond that. And this is

(03:13):
why you know, I would like to discuss this in
some detail today because when we fully understand the impact
that melatonin can have on us, it's really it's so
incredibly impressive. And we know that melatonin, of course is

(03:33):
released by the pioneal gland in the brain and helps
us with kind of getting that whole sleep cycle kicked
into gear. But it's interesting because many studies have now
shown that using melatonin during the day actually helps the
body fight oxidative stress. And why is that Well, because

(03:57):
we know that melatonin, in addition to regulating our sleep
patterns and our circadian rhythm, it really is functioning as
an incredibly powerful antioxidant. So I look at this as
being a win win across the board. So let's just
say you're taking it in the evening to support sleep, Well,

(04:18):
that's great because it's going to help on that front.
But it's also increasing your total free radical fighting capacity
because it is this very powerful antioxidant. And we also
know that when it comes to the way in which
it can help to really tamper down the level of

(04:40):
inflammation that is occurring, not just within the brain, and
that's important because we never want to have neuro inflammation occurring.
But we also know that it really works as an
anti inflammatory throughout the entire body, which is why it
has been studied so extensively over the past couple of
decades for utilizations in many different conditions outside of that

(05:06):
of sleep disruptions, so looking at gi health, mood disorders,
and other inflammatory conditions, as far as looking at it
even in the setting of arthritis. So there's so many
different therapeutic potentials for using melatonin. And in the journal
of Cell Molecular Neurobiology, that's a fun journal name there,

(05:29):
but they were looking at melatonin as far as all
of its biological functions and all of the ways in
which melatonin has been studied up into this point, and
researchers out there continue to look at melatonin as kind
of being this wonder nutrient that we can supplement with.

(05:51):
We know that many times our body is not producing
a high enough amount of melatonin. So this is why
when you look at certain conditions, whether that is an
autoimmune condition, and if you were to assess the body's
melatonin release, we can see a direct correlation between the

(06:12):
exacerbation or the worsening of that autoimmune condition and that
low melatonin secretion that is occurring. So when you're looking
at conditions that are definitely neurorelated, so Alzheimer's disease, dementia,
Parkinson's disease, we can certainly see that increasing melatonin levels

(06:34):
certainly can be a protective way to combat many of
the negative effects of those conditions. And certainly we know
that melatonin it's a hormone, but interestingly enough, it's a
hormone that possesses antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties and not weak.

(06:56):
It's not weak antioxidant properties, nor is it we anti
inflammatory properties. Melatonin is very powerful and this is why
it bolsters these incredible neuroprotective effects support for the immune system.
Why individuals who have conditions such as irritable bowel, Crohn's disease,

(07:19):
alstertive colitis find that when they are taking melatonin their
conditions improve. So I just wanted to mention that because
we do have melatonin, and sometimes people will pop into
one of our stores and maybe you're perusing our website
and you say, eh, well, you know my sleep is
not the greatest, but I don't think I need melatonin. Well,

(07:40):
this is just something just to notate. Taking melatonin during
the day can give your body this extra little weapon
to fight off the effects of aging, because what do
we know about aging. Well, if we have chronic, low
grade inflammation occurring, that's going to accelerate our aging process.

(08:02):
So not only are we getting those benefits of it
being neuroprotective, it's also fighting off all of the free
radicals and oxidative stress. It's also been studied quite extensively
at this point in time for how it improves memory,
and I think that this is really quite interesting. They

(08:25):
can see how melatonin is working to improve the neuronal plasticity.
So when you hear us talk about neuroplasticity, this is
kind of the ability of the brain to adapt and
to clean up, as I always say, any dinged up
or dented brain cells. So we also can see how

(08:48):
it helps to increase certain levels of key things, including
one very important protein known as brain derived neurotropic factor.
So not that you necessary really need to know that,
but what do we need to walk away from this
conversation on melatonin is that melatonin is a power hormone

(09:11):
that has anti inflammatory and anti oxidant properties, and using
this helps to support your immune defenses, helps to combat
the effects of aging, and of course its primary benefit
helps with the regulation of our sleep cycle. And sleep

(09:33):
is key because if you're not getting good sleep, this
affects every single system across the board. So it's going
to have an impact on your blood sugar, your blood pressure,
if you Oh here's another fascinating side that came out recently,
and they were looking at how poor sleep quality leads

(09:56):
to dehydration. And so this is just something to notate
because sometimes in the colder months, dehydration is oftentimes overlooked
because people think about, you know, staying more hydrated when
it's hot and humid outside. But you can, you know,
get dehydrated in the cooler winter months as well. So

(10:17):
and I say cooler because I'm hoping that you guys
don't have a very harsh winter up there. I know
we're not quite to winter, but this is something that
you know you should pay attention to because if we're dehydrated,
that's going to deplete our energy stores. So you wake
up you already didn't get a good night's sleep, so
you don't wake up feeling rested, and then you're dehydrated

(10:39):
on top of that, which also takes away that you know,
energy ability from yourselves. So it's just a it's a
win win across the board when we're using melatonin. And
there's actually studies out there that have shown the benefits
of utilizing melatonin in the afternoon for individuals who have

(11:01):
kind of that sundowners which is associated with dimension Alzheimer's,
So people start to get a little bit agitated as
you get into the later afternoon hours and that loss
of daylight, and this all has to do with the
pioneal gland. So if you're taking melatonin in the afternoon,
that can actually help with the stabilization of the mood

(11:21):
and improve the sleep quality at night for those individuals.
So just another little fun fact about melatonin. Now let's
talk about mushrooms, because we have a wonderful mushroom blend,
and mushrooms have become kind of I guess hip in
the past few years, it seems like you can't go

(11:42):
anywhere where you're not seeing something about mushrooms. You go
into a grocery store and they have mushroom mushrooms in
what seems like every product. You know, teas with mushrooms,
coffees with mushrooms. So but why is that. Well, we
know that mushrooms are very powerful immuno modulator foods, and

(12:03):
when we have them in our diet, it helps our
body once again regulate our immune defenses, but at the
same time very powerful antioxidants that are contained within whole
food mushrooms. Now you take those whole food mushrooms and
you put them into an extracted form, which is what

(12:23):
you'll find in mushrooms HX, and it certainly packs a
very powerful punch. So the main active constituent that we're
looking at in mushrooms is called ergo thinine, and we
know that the ergothiining really works to help stabilize all

(12:44):
of your cells, not just your immune system cells, but
cells across every single system. So maybe you're taking our
mushroom HX because you want to support your immune defenses,
or you're dealing with a particular condition and you find
that mushrooms would be a great addition to your daily
supplementation routine. But mushrooms go far beyond that of just

(13:09):
the immune system. And our mushrooms HX contains eight different
mushroom extracts, each of which have been shown to have
their own powerful health benefits. So whether you're looking at
something like turkey tail or Rachie mushroom or Cordyceps mushroom,
each one of those mushrooms has been individually studied and

(13:34):
so when you're partnering them all up together into a
single capsule. So when you're taking mushrooms HX is just
one cap per day. Now, is there reasons why someone
may take more than one? Of course, we certainly see
conditions such as autoimmune problems we're taking a higher amount

(13:58):
of those mushrooms would even more support. So you want
to work with one of our nutritional experts when it
comes to this. And maybe you're dealing with a condition
such as lupus or Crohn's disease or diabetes for example,
and you want to be utilizing our mushrooms HX, this
eight mushroom blend, then you would want to reach out

(14:19):
to someone like a doctor Claire, who is by the way,
available today in Forest Hills. So and she's just such
a wonderful person. Not only are you going to get
a great consult from her and walk away understanding so
much more about yourself and your wellness and what you

(14:39):
need to be doing to tackle whatever health concern you have.
She's just a joy to talk to. So I encourage
you if you can't make it over to Forest Hills,
give her a call and you can reach her by phone. So,
so we know that mushrooms have a lot of anti
aging properties that they naturally possess because of these powers antioxidants.

(15:01):
And keep in mind too that mushrooms naturally have vitamin D.
So mushrooms have vitamin D two, which is the plant
based vitamin D. But as you're taking mushroom HX, for example,
that vitamin D two that's naturally occurring within those eight mushrooms,

(15:21):
that will convert in your body to vitamin D three,
which is the active form. So we can see how
mushrooms just across the board, whether we're you know, taking
it in this capsule form or if we're incorporating it
into our diet. As far as whole food has multiple benefits.

(15:45):
It's been studied over at Penn State University. I always
say Penn State loves mushrooms. They have done a significant
amount of clinical trials on both whole food mushrooms as
well as mushroom extracts and seeing how it can help
with glucose control, so for blood sugar regulation. The way

(16:05):
in which it's working on that front comes to the
properties that it contains when it comes to being a prebiotic,
So it helps to enhance your microbiome. So and you
may say, well, what the heck does the microbiome have
anything to do with my blood glucose. It has a
lot to do with it. So we know that our

(16:28):
intestinal health is not just somehow limited to our immune defenses.
It's directly connected to the way our liver process is
cholesterol and detoxifies every day for our pancreatic function and
the way that digestive enzymes are released from the pancreas.
So having a healthy gut is very important. And so

(16:51):
we look at mushrooms and we say, okay, they naturally
contain beta glucans to support that immune system. They have
the power of ergothigning this powerful antioxidant, and they also
contain vitamin D and are working as a prebiotic, so
it's just a win win across the board. And this

(17:11):
particular formulation that Jerry Hickey put together so many years
ago has a lot of popularity in our line, especially
right now because mushrooms are back in the news of
being kind of this super nutrient to turn to for
just healthy aging in general. So definitely check that one out.

(19:24):
I hope that your day is off to a brilliant
start and that you have a great weekend. And I'm
here to try to make it even better for you
when it comes to your health and your wellness. You're
gonna want to stick around because at the top of
the hour we have Jerry Hickey coming up, so very
excited about that. Jerry's just such a He's just such

(19:46):
a class act. I'm so fortunate to have been able
to come on board and invite health and to have
Jerry as my mentor. I mean, you couldn't ask for
more in this particular industry, in this field. And yes,
while you know we kind of have in many regards

(20:06):
different backgrounds. He's a pharmacist, I'm an MD, but you know,
we just we click. We we clicked right from the beginning.
And you know, I'm just every day, you know, I'm
always just grateful that I have Jerry Hickey that I
can turn to for anything, anything in life. He's just
he's just a He's a great human being. And I

(20:28):
know that all of you know that because you've been
listening to Jerry Hickey for so many years on this
program and had the For those of you who are
fortunate enough to have met Jerry in person and worked
with him, you know, he's just he's just a great person.
So so stick around because he is going to be
coming up. But now let's switch focus. Let's talk about

(20:49):
our Phase two and our trim A checks. Why did
I put these two products on special today because we
have the holidays around the corner, and I always feel
bad for folks who wait so I say be proactive
in your your holiday regimen because sometimes you wait until

(21:10):
after the new year and then we get a flood
of folks who come in and go, oh gosh, I
need to lose weight. I did really bad during the holidays.
I was overeating, I was stressed out, I wasn't sleeping good,
I have no energy. I got sick a couple of times.
We don't want any of those things to happen. So
this is why we want to be taking our melatonin
to support our sleep, we want to take our mushrooms

(21:30):
HX to support the immune system, and we want to
be able to target some of those not so great
foods that you might be coming in contact with. And
I know it's oftentimes mind over matter, but it can
be difficult. I mean everyone's been at one of those
holiday parties and they have a whole tray of you know,

(21:51):
baked goods and you're like, oh wow, that looks really good,
or you're overdoing it with the carbs. I always say,
leave the turkeys alone on Thanksgiving. It's not their fault.
They're not the reason why you get sleepy. The reason
why you get sleepy is because you had that extra
scoop of stuffing and maybe extra scoop of mashed potatoes.

(22:13):
That's the reason why you get sleepy. It's not the
trip to fan from the Turkey, even though people would
like to blame that. But what can we do, well,
we can turn to phase two. So phase two is
our carb blocker, our carb neutralizer. So if you know
that you are going to be going to these holiday

(22:35):
events and overindulging in things like breads and pastries, pasta,
anything like that, you want to make sure that your
body is equipped to be able to kind of put
on some boxing gloves and fight that off. And so
this is where phase two comes into play. And the
science behind it is really quite remarkable. It is actually

(23:00):
a white kidney being extract and the way in which
this white kidney being extract is working is really quite impressive,
and it works via a couple of different mechanisms. Number
one is it helps the body with the way in

(23:21):
your carbs are absorbed, So it's slowing the rate of
carbohydrate absorption, which in turn will help with the overall
regulation of your blood glucose levels. So there's this direct
connect between carb intake and we're talking the bad carbs folks,

(23:43):
so carb intake, blood sugar, and fat absorption or fat retention.
So not that we have to get heavy into how
that's actually working. What we do need to walk away
with and understand is that when we're taking Phase two,
this is this water extract of white kidney bean that

(24:06):
it actually inhibits the alpha amales, So this is really important.
So it's like we're getting this bypass. So instead of
that pasta or that bread or the cookies that you're eating,
instead of those having this quick rapid absorption, they actually
are delayed because we don't have the amalase to rapidly

(24:26):
break that down. So it's really quite fascinating. And they've
done multiple clinical trials on the Phase two that we
are using, so this is a registered trademark kidney bean
extract that we use in our formulation. So in the
Journal of Alternative Medicine Review all the way back in
two thousand and four, they set up a eight week

(24:47):
trial where they took individuals and this was the gold
standard type of a trial. It's a double blind, placebo
controlled trial, and they had one group who was given
Phase two and the other group was given up placebo,
and they were looking at this not only in terms
of appetite, but the main point that they're looking at

(25:09):
was weight loss. So for eight weeks you had one
group taking a placebo on the other group taking Phase two,
and the results were incredibly impressive. In just eight weeks,
the group that was taking Phase two on average lost
four pounds. And you may look and go, well, that's

(25:32):
not you know, four pounds in eight weeks. That's not
a lot. That is And the reason why I say
that is is because we're looking at sustainable weight loss. Now,
this study design was not set up to really monitor
the food intake, so you could have had an individual

(25:52):
who was in this study who was not eating the best.
They were going out, they were having fast food multiple times,
they're not exercise, maybe their sleep cycle is not the best.
So you have all these other factors that are working
against them in terms of actual sustainable weight loss. But

(26:12):
even in spite of all of that, they were still
able to lose weight taking the Phase two and no
side effects. This is always key because we're using a
kidney bean extract. So it's so impressive. So you fast
forward twenty years to twenty twenty four and they said,

(26:35):
let's go back and let's look at this again. And
this was a twelve week study. So the first study
eight week study, So a twelve week study looking at
fat loss and overall weight loss once agin gold standard
double blind, placebo controlled trial giving individuals the Phase two

(26:59):
that invite health offers, giving them this thirty minutes before
a meal for twelve weeks. They found a significant reduction
in body weight, fat mass overall BMI, which is the
body mass index and the waste to hip ratio. So

(27:21):
they said Phase two is an effective and safe supplement
aiding weight loss and fat loss. So it's just a
great product. And we have the holidays coming up. You
take your Phase two. Say you're heading out to a
holiday party, take your Phase two on the way. Go
enjoy whatever appetizers they have or whatever pastries they have

(27:44):
out there. Enjoy that, go socialize and not feel guilty
about this. So this is why I love this product,
especially during the holidays. Now we can partner this up
at the same time with trim a checks. Now trim
is really interesting. So we have two power nutrients contained

(28:05):
in the Trema checks. So one is the registered trademark
Grains of Paradise extract it's called calorie burn, so I
don't think I need to say much more about that.
Its actual name is calorie burn. So what you think
Grains of Paradise is doing for you, it's working as
a fat burner. It's a natural thermogenic agent coming from nature.

(28:31):
And this is a wonderful thing because when we're utilizing
something like Grains of Paradise, not only is it going
in and the way in which it works is it's
tricking your white fat cells to act like brown fat cells,
which is a wonderful, wonderful thing. And then it's partnered
with five HDP to really help with that emotional side

(28:53):
of eating and curb that appetite. So check that one
out that's trim a checks that is on special along
with the Phase two the mushrooms HX and melatonin. Use

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Welcome to Invite Radio. You're about to receive responsible, life
changing information on health and nutrition. You'll hear from Invite
professionals who are leaders in targeted and anti aging nutrition.
Get ready for tomorrow's nutritional science today right here, right now,
Happy set it day, Good morning everybody. Jerry Hickey here
for invite health, and it's always an honor and a

(31:05):
privilege to be speaking with you on the radio, especially
on WOOR, one of the great grandparents of all radio stations.
It's just a fabulous radio station. Now, there's an exceedingly
important molecule that your body makes, and it gives you
the lion's share of your energy. Almost all of your
energy comes out of this molecule. It's called you be

(31:28):
queen wall or ubiquinal, you could pronounce it either way,
and it allows food to be converted into energy. But
it does more than that. It also cleans out the
inner core of your cell. Just think if you couldn't
clean out the inside of let's say your bathroom. You know,
you clean the rest of the house, but you couldn't

(31:48):
get into the bathroom for some reason, you couldn't get
past the door. What would happen. Let's to say, with
your cells, you need something that's dependable that gets into
the core of your cell and clean it out. And
it's responsible especially for cleaning out the most important part
of your cell that generates power, the power plants you

(32:09):
probably know of as mitochondria, where you make energy out
of your food. So for these power plants in your
body that prevent fatigue and fragility and frailty. That these
power plants function properly, they require ubiquenol for two reasons.
One it cleans them out and maintains them as a

(32:31):
powerful inner core antioxidant for inside yourself. And two, it
is the factor that allows you to generate ATP. ATP
is the currency for energy. Something like ninety seven percent
of all your energy comes out of ATP. So imagine
if you couldn't make ATP, and that's exactly what happens.
Less ubiquenol equals less ATP in your body equals a

(32:56):
drop in stamina. This is exactly what happens in diabetics.
This is exactly what happens in obese people. This is
exactly what happens as we grow older. Less ATP generated
out of the food, a drop in stamina, an increase
in fatigue, and eventually that'll translate into frailty and disease.
So let's go over the major categories of people who

(33:19):
really should be taking this important nutrient. I take it
every day. I take it every day. My older brother
has had a number of heart attacks. He's about five
years older than me and my father died rather young
at the age of sixty from a massive heart attacks.
So you better believe I want to take care of
my heart. And one of the areas where you be

(33:41):
queen oal ubiquinol, I'll call it ubiquinal. Where ubiquinol really
shines is in heart issues and heart health. There's been
a series of studies when they raised ubiquenol and people
who had massive heart attacks, it really improved their odds
of surviving over the next like five or ten years.
And in a more recent trial when they took people

(34:03):
who had severely damaged hearts, they had heart failure. The
heart is just not pumping properly. So these people it's
hard for them to breathe. They they're fatigued, they're prone
to heart attacks and arrhythmia. It's a very dangerous condition
having heart failure. And University of Maryland was involved with this,
as were researchers in Japan and Europe and other places.

(34:26):
When they raised the level of ubiquen wall and people
with heart failure, it was preventing heart attacks. Of course
it would because when you take ubiquinal, one of the
organs in the body that has massive amounts of ubiquen
wall is the heart and is a reason for that.
The heart is a muscle that never stops. If it stops,

(34:46):
you're done. So you are muscles. Rest your leg muscles,
Rest your back muscles, Rest your core muscles. Rest. Your
heart pumps all the time. Its job is to pump
blood and immune cells and oxygen all over the body
all the time, and energy all over the body all
the time. It's a requirement otherwise you got So your

(35:08):
heart's pumping literally over one hundred thousand times per day
for most people, that's billions of times, billions of billions
of times over a lifetime, an average life spent. So
the heart is loaded with ubiqueinotes, loaded with these power plants.
Every cell of the heart is loaded with these power
plants called mitochondria. And it's the mitochondria's job to generate
energy out of food, especially sugar. There's the sugar in

(35:31):
so many different foods, and it's the ubiquin oil that's
required to create this energy. It doesn't pass a long
job like an ever ready battery that allows you to
create ATP, which you spend for energy. So the heart's
loaded with ATP. With that ubiqu remode's less atp and
the heart's understress. So when you have a damaged heart,

(35:53):
like somebody with severe high blood pressure, somebody with diabetes
who has heart damage, somebody who has heart failure, somebody
who's had multiple heart attacks, these power plants are damaged.
You're generating less energy. The heart is suffering, it's suffocating,
it's just faulty, it's just weak, and it's sputtering out
energy and this can lead to a rhythmias and fatal
heart attacks. So when you give the ubiquen Will, you're

(36:16):
restoring an easier way of the heart to convert food
into energy, and the heart is getting fed properly. The
heart has enough energy, the metabolism is getting restored back
to normal. The heart literally is becoming younger. The heart
literally is becoming healthier. So when you take it damaged
heart and you give it ubiquen Will, you have a younger,

(36:37):
healthier heart. A younger healthier heart is of course a
lot less likely to have a heart attack, but it's
the same for aging people. It's the exact same thing
for aging people. So although people with heart damage are
probably the number one people who should have ubiquen woll.
Right behind them are older people like myself. I'm seventy

(36:58):
years of age with age are ubiquin wol manufacture plummet.
So let's give a little history of ubiquin o. It
was discovered in the about if in the Sikh Japan
about eighteen ninety or nineteen ten somewhere around there by
a Japanese researcher. But the core research the Lions shared.
The research on ubiquin wall has been performed in Texas.

(37:20):
Most of the research is performed down there, and are
ubiquin ol colomes from Texas. Now you might know ubiquinol
by a different name, coq ten, But what you may
not realize is most coq ten is not active, not
until you change it to ubiquin wal. The problem is
once you hit your fifties, you start to lose as
much ability to convert coquten to ubiquino. So even if

(37:43):
you take coqu ten, even if you make enough coq ten,
if you're in your sixties to seventies, you're not converting
enough coq ten into ubiquin wal. You're not getting the benefits.
You're not getting the total benefit. It's lacking. So older
people really have to switch from coqu ten to ubiquinoal.
And if they're not on any cook ten ubiquinal type

(38:03):
product yet, they really should start because with age, especially
in your sixties and seventies, your latter sixties, like after
sixty five and your seventies, ubiquinal levels crash and burn.
They just go off the edge of the cliff, They
drop off the precipice. So when you don't have enough ubiquinol,
your energy drops. And when your energy drops, your strength suffers,

(38:29):
your stamina, your endurance, they all suffer. And what happens
eventually this will lead to fatigue, and eventually the fatigue
will bring you to frailty. Frailty where you're just sitting around,
you're not doing something, you're not interacting, you're not getting
enough exercise, you're not getting enough social interaction. And this

(38:52):
frailty leads all these diseases you see in elderly people, Alzheimer's,
and contributes to a different conditions heart disease and function,
et cetera. So older people really need ubiquin wall. And
there's many studies now that when you take the body
ready fully functional, already active, already energy producing ubiquinal instead

(39:13):
of coquett because this is the active for a coquetep.
When you take the ubiquin wall, it brings back your energy,
It helps push away fatigue. It really makes a difference.
Not only have they shown ubiqural improving energy and stamina
in older people and giving them the energy to go
outside and be more active and enjoy their life. It's

(39:35):
preventing heart attacks, it's reducing deaths in older people. It's
keeping you around longer and in a more enjoyable fashion.
So people with heart issues like a heart attack, high
blood pressure, heart failure, they need ubiquinal. All the people

(39:57):
like me, once you hit like sixty, you really should
be a ubiquinal. I'm seventy. I'm on it every day.
I take it with breakfast because it's absorbed better with food.
And we have the only ubiquinal we have the only
coq ten made in America. It's made in Texas, and
this is the only antioxygen form. It's the only fully
active form. It has been used in menum in clinical trials

(40:19):
that have been published in medical journals. So when you
take our ubiquinoal, you're getting the best of the best
of the best. So I take one hundred and twenty
milligrams every morning with my breakfast. Now. The third category
of people who require ubiquinal are diabetics. Diabetes is known
as a disease of sugar. Blood sugar bloodchegar goes up.

(40:40):
You can't control your blood sugar, so you take drugs
to lower it. But it's not just a disease of
blood sugar. It's a disease of inflammation. It's a disease
of high blood fats like cholesterol and treglycerides, and it's
a disease of fatigue, poor metabolism. When you give a
diabetic ubiquin, because diabetics cannot make ubiquen woll, you can

(41:03):
give them a lot of coqu tenant. It's very hard
for a diabetic to convert coqu ten to ubiquen woll.
Just like somebody in my age group, I have difficulty
converting coquten to ubiquinol. So I'm going to take you
big one.

Speaker 3 (41:14):
All.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
When you give a diabetic ubiqmen woll, you help their kidneys,
you help their nerves, you help their heart, you help
their eyes, you help their brain, you help their skin,
you help their pancras, their liver, and you help give
them energy. Again, giving a diabetic ubiquen woll. Now that's

(41:37):
not the only supplement they should take. There's other supplements
that are very important for diabetics. Giving a diabetic ubiquen
woll helps them in many exceedingly important ways, including improving
their energy. So whenever I get a diabetic, one of
the first things I give them is ubiquinal to help
protect their kidneys in their heart, and they give them
energy and help them enjoy their life, to help protect

(41:59):
them from the pain because you know they're prone to
diabetic pollneropathy. And research shows that ubikwinol does that in diabetics.
So we have the true ubiqwenol, the only one made
in America. There's koke Ten's made in China and other places.
Ours is made in Texas. It's made by a Japanese
company Kinika, but they make it in Texas and super

(42:21):
high quality. It's the real thing. It's been used in
many human clinical trials. Once you can under published the
medical journals. It's very pure and it's the form that
you take it and aciusey energy. You take it with
your food, take it with your breakfastal lunch, and Achiusi
energy Okay, we have to go to a break. Are
you Bikwinol's on special Jerry Hiki Invite Health. I'll be
right back.

Speaker 2 (43:36):
Okay, welcome back, Jerry Hickey here for Invite Health. There
are many drugs that treat the pain, the suffering, the
stiffness of arthritis, but they have consequences that can be dangerous.
For instance, advil celebres, they can raise your blood pressure,

(43:57):
they can trigger a stroke, they can damage your kidneys,
they have an effect on your hearing envision. That's not
really commonly dispersed that kind of information. But there's a
supplement combination that works as well as these drugs without
the side effects, without the toxicity. It very effectively reduces pain,

(44:21):
reduces inflammation, and improves your range of motion. So what's
your range of motion? That's an important concept. It's how
much you can use a joint without pain, So how
much you could bend your knee without pain, but also
how long you last without pain, Like if you win
on a treadmill with this supplement, it's called biocurcumin five locks.

(44:43):
If you use the supplement and you want a treadmill,
you could walk further more comfortably and do a better
job of it that maybe even walk faster. So it's
two herbs. Biocurcumen is the turmeric plant to curry plant,
except this one is incredibly well absorbed, grown organically without

(45:07):
sprays or anything. And in five loxin that's Frankinsense Frankinsense
five loxin. And when you take these they work very
well for pain and stiffness and suffering and inflammation and
improving your function. You could function better what your knee
or your hip or whatever joint is diseased, without the

(45:29):
side effects of the drugs, without the high blood pressure,
without the risk of a stroke, without damage to the
kidneys or vision or hearing. And the reason they're so
good is because they come at the pain from two
different avenues. One avenue is similar to the to the
way drugs work. It's inhibiting the cox to enzyme, and

(45:53):
the other avenue is a little bit different, it's the
fible ofpoxyesten aseenzime. So when you come from both as,
you really reduce various success I'm surprised that the drug
companies don't do this. By the way, when you come
at it from both avenues, from both angles, you really
super successfully reduce pain and suffer. So Johns Hopkins I

(46:13):
always quote this review because Johns Hopkins is very reliable.
They have a very reliable Medical School and Hospital Center.
They're reviewed the research on biocarcumen. They reviewed the research
on five loxin. They said, biocurcumen really does a great
job on reducing arthritis pain, reducing arthritis inflammation, reducing arthritis suffering.

(46:41):
And biochurcumen works as well as advil and a leave
and tylon oil and celebrates raspirin. Five loxin also reduces
arthritis pain. And like I said, together when you put
the bier Kirkman went to five loxin, they complement each
other for reducing pain and suffering because they're work by

(47:03):
different roots. So they really do a great job of
reducing stiffness, reducing soreness, reducing pain and suffering, improving your
range of motion, how much you can bind det authritic joint,
improving your function. And like I said, if you want
to do something like exercise to take a walk, you
can walk further better. Now, there's other benefits to buy

(47:27):
a curcumin five loxin. That's not the only benefit. Because
they reduce certain types of inflammation. They also reduce the
kind of inflammation you get on the skin like with
exima psoriasis loopis. That doesn't mean they replace the drugs
but you can safely add them to the drugs you're
using to treat your loopus or your psoriasis without any problem.

(47:49):
It's safe to add these to the drugs for better effect.
They also reduce inflammation in the colon. So for people
prone to polyps, I'm prone to polyps, I get these
baby polyps. If you ignore them, they could become dangerous.
So I go for a colonoscopy every five years, but

(48:11):
I take the biocurcument five lox and to reduce my
risk of colon cancer by reducing inflammation in my colon.
So I take two things to be actually three things
to reduce my risk of colon cancer. One of them well,
I eat well. Also on I exercise, so let's not talk.
Let's not forget that. I take the biocurcument five loxin
is one thing I take. The second thing I take

(48:33):
is probiotic HX, and the third thing I take is
green tea, a green tea capsule. They all reduce the
risk of colon cancer. So I'm using the via cirricumin
five boxer for two reasons. I'm not using it for arthritis.
I'm seventy years old. I go to the gym and
lift weights. I garden, I kayak, I hike. Recently, I

(48:57):
was hiking in Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, doing four
or five six mile hikes every day, so I had
no problem with othritis. I'm taking it for my brain.
I actually used a bier Kirkman five boxin to generate
more brain in my aging brain. I don't know if
you've heard the term. If you've listened to this program,

(49:17):
you probably heard the term at some point because I
took about it here and there. It's called cognitive reserve.
So let me go back to the nuns study. The
nun study was in the nineteen nineties. Now, they took
one hundred nuns. I think it was in Arizona, and
all these nuns donated their brains to science, and they

(49:38):
found that some of the nuns had Alzheimer's damage, but
they never displayed the symptoms. They went on functioning, They
went on getting jokes, they went on interacting with people,
They went on living at home in the nunnery in
the cloister because they had cognitive reserve. So how did
they develop cognitive reserve and incredibly good diet? They were

(50:01):
very physically active, like with gardening and doing social things.
They were socially active with the other nuns, and they
felt like they had a purpose in life. They were
doing things to stimulate the formation of brain cells. We
didn't know it until the early like, I don't know
two thousand and five or so, that you can actually

(50:21):
grow new memory cells. You can actually grow new memory cells.
You release different growth factors in your brain. One of
them is called nerve growth factor, that's an important one.
Another one is called brain derived neurotrophic factor, and these
stimulate the formation of memory cells. So in about two
thousand and five twenty ten, it was discovered that young people,

(50:45):
if they go to bed at night and they sleep
long enough, they can generate five hundred and six hundred
new brain cells every night. That's very important. By the
time you're fifty, you've doubled the amount of brain cells
involved with memory. So you've lost some, you're losing some
every day, but you're replacing them. So they found that
young people when they go into deep sleep, they release

(51:08):
these growth factors nerve growth factor and brain drug neutrophic factor,
and there's several more. And you're taking stem cells, strummle
stem cells, and you're converting them into thinking memory cells neurons.
The problem is we release less of these growth factors
as we age. So if there's a combination of poor

(51:31):
sleep and age, you're losing memory cells. You're actively losing
memory cells. So how do you get around that. Biocarcumen
five locks in five human clinical trials, causes the release
of nerve growth factors. It causes the release of nerve growth.
Even if you take a nap and you afternoon on

(51:52):
a couch, you're releasing nerve growth factors. You're creating new
memory cells. So what's the advantage of that. These new
memory cells have never been damaged by depression. These new
memory cells do not have any of the plaque that
you see in Alzheimer's brains. You don't have that disturbing
buildup of kunk. These are fresh, clean cells that are

(52:14):
memory cells. So even if you've lost memory cells to
Alzheimer's type plaque, if you can keep ahead of the
curve by creating new memory cells every night, your brain
will go unfunctioning. That's why I take the buyer kircumin
five ox to build up my cognitive reserve. Another thing
that helps you with cognitive reserve is a multi vitamin.

(52:36):
Things like zinc are needed for cognitive reserve. So take
your multivitamin in the morning with your breakfast or with
your lunch, and then take your Buyer Kirkman five loxin.
I take two every day with my dinner. I consider
it to be very important for a person my age.
So I know my brain is still working. I mean
I do very complex things all the time and my brain.

(52:56):
I use my brain all day long. I mean I
don't quit. I'm not a guy who sits by the
swimming pool. You know, I'm always doing something. So I'm
taking biocurcum five locks and to build up my brain.
But they've also shown that the Biocurcuman reduces brain fatigue
if you're doing something that is taxing on your brain energy.

(53:20):
So let's say you have to do math. Let's say
you're doing you're doing your tax returns right, or you're
trying to figure out how your new GPS system works,
or something something that taxes the brain. Right, If you
do the biocurcuman with a snack before you do that,
the brain is less fatigued from doing that. But also

(53:40):
they found that if you do the biocurcumen your brain.
Your memory is boosted for about six hours at a time,
so that there's four different values for your brain. By
using biokurricumin five lox in every day, one, you offset
the age related increase in inflammation that stirs up brain
and confuses it and makes everything work poorly in the brain.

(54:04):
So as you grow older, your defense mechanisms in the
brain dwindle, things like superoxide dismutaste type one in three,
they dwindle, glue to thine levels dwindle, so things that
would naturally protect a brain when you're younger, you have
less of these protecting your brain in your fifties and
sixties and seventies, and as a result of that, there's

(54:24):
increasing levels of inflammation and destruction in the brain, which
kills brain, sells and muddles everything up and can contribute
to anxiety and depression and Alzheimer's and all the other
forms of dementia and Parkinson's disease. When you take the
bio Kirkman five loxin, you reinstall those protective mechanisms in
your brain. So that's the first thing you're protecting your
brain with Biocirrikmind five loxing. The second thing with biocurrictmin

(54:48):
five LOCX is you're boosting your working memory for about
the next six hours after taking it. The third thing
is you're not as fatigued if you're doing something that
really taxes your brain energy. It helps to prevent brain
fatigue because the brain works better with biocricmand five blocks.
But the last thing is you're seeding the brain with
new memory cells. You're actually literally seeding the brain with

(55:12):
new memory cells. So the biocractment five lotion has been
used in studies of I hate to say it, brain cancer,
prostate cancer, colon cancer, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, pancreatic cancer.
It's been used like in Israel and UCLA and Australia,

(55:32):
et cetera, where they study it for cancer. It seems
to help the fight. A lot of little things can
improve your odds of fighting cancer, like a better diet,
getting exercise, getting rid of stress, getting rid of toxic people.
I'd get rid of toxic people in my life, but
then I wouldn't have any family. But in any event,
getting back to it, the biocractment five LOX can help,

(55:56):
but you know, don't use it without talking to your doctor.
If you have cancer and you want to start using
the stuff to help you, you have to discuss what
you doct But I use it to lower my risk
of colon cancer. I use it all the time and
people with back pain. It's great for back pain. My
mother uses it for back pain, but she said it
really improves her memory. So my mother doesn't call up,
doesn't call me to send her by a crikman fible

(56:18):
oxen for her back pain, which it helps. It helps
her back pain. It's great for back pain. She takes
it because she said it boosts her memory, which is cool.
So I said the four bottles at the time. Now
the next thing is I use it all the time
for not just back pain, but muscle pain and any
kind of arthritis, whether it's arthritis in the shoulder, arthritis

(56:40):
in the knee, arthritis in the hip, arthritis in the spine,
arthritis in the thumb or fingers, any place where you
have arthritis, it will help. And also nerve pain. It
helps with nerve pain like if you have sayatica and
you lower back running down your leg and tendinitis like
plantar fasciitis, heel, or you have a problem with your

(57:04):
achilles achilles tendonopathy, you know, pain in your ankle or
your tendons in your forearm, like like golfer's elbow or
tennis elbow. Buy a Kirkman five blocks and helps all
of these things. It's really safe. You take it with
food for better absorption, and I generally for my brain.
I probably could just use one a day, but I
take two every day with my dinner, just to make sure.

(57:26):
How much for arthritis. Well, when you first started, you
might want to take more like three or four capsules
a day, like you might want to take two buy
a Kirkman five blocks and twice a day with breakfast
or lunch, or you might want to take one three
times a day with meals. But once the pain's under control,
you could drop the doses to like two capsules a day,
which will be great for your brain, great for you colon,

(57:46):
and great for your arthritis. Okay, we have to go
to a break Cherre you here, can you invite help?
Don't go anywhere. I'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (58:51):
Okay, Welcome back Jerry Hickey for Invite Health. So our
buyer Kirkman five lotion is on special today and are
you bick one wall is on special today? So is
our grape seed extract now. Grape seed extract has been
proven to improve the integrity of the blood vessel walls
of your body. It hasn't been proven to increase circulation
in the brain. That's a different supplement called restpirtual, But

(59:14):
for your body, grape seed extract has been shown to
be a boon for improved circulation. So you have all
these blood vessels and it's their job to make sure
that oxygen and nutrition and everything is cycled throughout the
body and your circulation. So you have arteries and arteriolos
and capillaries and veins and all these things and valves
in them. Grape seed extract supports all that. It increases

(59:38):
the integrity of the blood vessel walls, so your aging
blood vessels or your disease blood vessels are working better.
So circulation is more normal. It's smoother circulation. You know,
circulation comes in a pulse, so your heart's beating, let's
say eighty times a minute. That's a wave of blood
coming out right, a pulse of blood. It has to

(01:00:00):
go around smoothly. The blood vessels have to respond to
that and pop open so that blood easily gets down
to your toes and your arm muscles and you know,
all around the body. Grape sheet extract is insurance for that.
So who would benefit from that, well, anybody who has
a problem with circulation. That could be somebody with loopus.
That could be somebody with rheumatoid arthritis. That could be

(01:00:23):
somebody with diabetes. Most diabetics have terrible circulation. That could
be somebody with high blood pressure or any kind of
cardiovascular disease. And people over are like fifty. I mean,
our circulation is not what it used to be. Our
blood vessels are stiffer. They don't respond to these pulses,

(01:00:43):
these waves of blood, these surges of blood coming out
of heart. They don't respond properly, so it's hard. The
heart has to work harder to get the blood pumped
around the body. So taking the grape sheet extract restores
the functionality of your blood pestils. And I know our
grape sheet works. We get it from a French Italian company.

(01:01:04):
Our grape seed literally grows and provens France and Tuscany, Italy.
So these are very happy grapes, and it's the seed,
it's the seed of the grape. And oddly the white
grapes work better than the red grapes. So when they
get the grape seed extract, they get it from white grapes,

(01:01:25):
and our grape seed extract has been proven in human
clinical trials to lower blood pressure and people in high
blood pressure by about ten to fifteen points. Now it's
safe to use with your high blood pressure drugs because
it doesn't push pressure down. It doesn't push the pressure down.
What it does it makes the blood vessels work more appropriately.

(01:01:47):
So if your blood pressure controlling drug needs a little
help and grape seed extract to it, it'll improve blood flow.
It will help lower your blood pressure back towards normal.
It cannot cause low blood pressure. But my old blood
vessel I take grape sheet extract every day with breakfast.
My older blood vessels respond to this kind of nutrient.

(01:02:08):
It restores something in a blood vessel called SOD superoxide dismutation,
and the SOD what it does, it stabilizes a gas
called nitric oxide that pushes our blood vessels open. So
when you take grape sheet extract, there's a sequence of
events that come that lead to better blood flow and

(01:02:29):
improve blood pressure and improve circulation. The grape seed stabilizes SOD.
It restores sod in, a very important antioxidant, and the
SOD stabilizes the gas that pumps open your blood vessels
called nitric oxide. Now there's other uses for grape sheet extract.
It's not just great circulation. I give it to diabetics.

(01:02:54):
If you give it to a diabetic before a meal,
it lowers that blood shirgar. I'll tell you two easy
ways to lower your blood sugar if you diabetic. One,
take grape seat extract five or ten minutes before your meal.
You'll absorb about fifty sixty percent less sugar from the meal.
And two, walk for ten minutes after each meal. If

(01:03:18):
you walk three times a day for ten minutes, after breakfast,
after lunch, and after dinner for just ten minutes, I
mean if you walk more, it's even better. Your blood
sugar will drop about twenty to twenty five percent, and
if you add the grape seed to that, you'll probably
get your blood sugar out a good forty percent. That
makes a massive difference when you diabetic. Why does it

(01:03:39):
help lower your blood sugar? It only helps if you
take it before a meal. If you take it in
between meals, it has no effect on blood sugar. So
if you don't want an impact on your blood sugar,
take it in between meals. You take it ten minutes
before the meal, and it attaches to the sugar starts
digesting enzymes. The starch has to release sugar. If you

(01:04:00):
take the grape seed, the sugar remains inside the starch
and it passes through your digestive tract and it comes
out with your poop. Never got into your bloodstream. You'll
only absorb about thirty percent of the sugar, which is
enough for energy. So what it does it attaches to
the enzymes that break down starch, alpha amylase enzymes and
the alpha glucosidase senzymes. These are families of enzymes that

(01:04:22):
break down starts and release sugar. So you'll still taste
the food, but you're not absorbing the sugar. And that's
a real win win situation. So if you're diabetic, take
the grape seed extract before it one or two meals
a day. You have to do it before all three,
not really, and then walk for ten minutes after each meal,

(01:04:42):
and you'll see your sugar really improved dramatically. But your
circulation will benefit too. Your blood pressure should benefit. There's
research showing that grape seed protects the eyeballs of diabetics,
that protects the kidneys of diabetics, So there's certain nutrients
I love to give diabetics. I like to give them
grape seed extract. I like to give them U biq
one all. I like to give them Vitamin C, vitamin D,

(01:05:05):
the mineral magnesium zinc. They do so much better when
you're given these supplements biotin, which is a B vitamin.
So now one other group that can benefit from grape
seed is if you want to lose fat. To lose fat,
you have to take the grape seed right before a meal,
like a diabetic. So how does it work. It blocks

(01:05:27):
the absorption of sugar for the food. So if you
block the absorption of sugar, you're getting less calories. You're
gonna lose fat. So if you take the grape seed
before meals and then you walk, you're gonna lose fat.
You don't have to take ozempic and get ozimpic face,
an ozmpic butt, and all those other weird side effects
of ozimpic. You cee the ozimpic butt. Oh, now, what's

(01:05:52):
the real problem with ozmpic. It can cause thyroid cancer.
Ozimpic can cause thyroid cancer. We've known this for decades
that those kind of drugs. The first one of those
drugs was called Bayeta. It came out a lizard spit.
You are certain lizards to gia monster down and like
the Sonorian desert, only has to eat and drink every

(01:06:14):
six months. So they said there must be something in
the spit that protects them. And they found this stuff
and they made they made a drug out of it
that you inject into your belly. The problem is they
found out, Hey, does it increase the risk of pacreatic cancer?
Not sure? Does it increase the risk of pacreatitis, not sure,
because diabetes does that too. But they did find that
it increases the risk of a certain type of thyroid cancer,
and who the heck wants thyroid cancer. So a safe

(01:06:37):
way to lose weight is to take the grape seed
extract two hundred and fifty milligars before each meal, ten
minutes before you absorb less sugar from each meal. Then
you take a walk after the meal, and you're gonna
lose weight. You're gonna lose weight. Now, if you don't
want to lose weight and you don't want to improve
your blood sugar, just take the grape seed in between meals.
This way you only get the effect on your circulation.

(01:07:01):
This way you get the effect of circulation. Now, let's
talk about a nutrient that's kinda related to grape seed extract,
it's not really. It's called rest viritul. So where grape
seat extract works mostly in the body for circulation, rest
virtual works. It seems to work mostly in the brain.
First of all, rest virtual improves lung function. So who

(01:07:22):
needs help with lung function. Well, if you have like
respiratory sinctial virus or covid or the flu, you want
to take rest viitual to help shield your lungs. It's
a great antioxidant the lungs. Also, if you're exposed to
pollution or cigarette smoke, or if you just have older
lungs like me, you want to take rest viritual because

(01:07:43):
rest vitual and human clinical trials, improves the strength of
the lungs. Because your lungs weaken with age, just like
your kidneys weaken and your prostatas problems in men and
other things happen. The heart weakens, your lungs weaken with age,
and research, some pretty dynamic research shows that not only
does res virtual protect the lungess if you have a
viral infection. You know, if you have an infection like

(01:08:05):
the flu or covid, or if you're exposed to cigarette smoke.
Not only does it protect the lungs from things like that,
that doesn't mean you could smoke. That means if like
somebody's smoking around you, you take res virtual to helps
shield you from the smoke. Or if you live near
like I ninety five, I ninety five sheds a lot
of pollution that you're inhaling. That's very bid for your
brain and heart and your blood sugar. You want to

(01:08:28):
take rest virtual to help shield yourself from that pollution. So, yeah,
those highways give off a lot of pollution, a tremendous
amount of pollution. Now let's get back to it. The
rest veritual is great for your lungs. So if you're
older like me seventy, you want to increase the capacity
of the lungs to breathe, to inhale a x hale

(01:08:50):
so you could work out better and so you're more comfortable,
so there's less pressure on your brain and your heart
and your eyes, et cetera, and your kidneys. Take resvirtual
great for the lungess it also seems to have an
impact on the pancreas and the thyroid. Res Virtual is
a very tiny, very complex molecule with two ends to
it that do different things. Technically, it's a phyto election.

(01:09:13):
Phyto elections protect plants from things like viruses and mold.
It does the same thing in us. He's protect us
from viruses and fungi and things like that. But it's
good for your lungs if you have an infection or
you need to protect your lungs from some external challenge
like cigarette smoke or pollution. It's great for the pancreast.
There's a number of studies that res viritual reduces inflamation

(01:09:35):
on the pancreas. Three supplements not are good for your pancreas,
the mineral magnesium, vitamin D, and res vitual. They're good
for your pancreas. Now, rest virtual is great for the brain.
It is great for your brain, and that's why I
take it. I take our one hundred milligram res viritual
every morning with breakfast. It has some grape seed extract

(01:09:58):
in there, and it has some quercitant. Because these exist
in plants with resvirtue and make it work better. They
improve the ability of respirritual to function. The They increase
the ability of res virtual to benefit you, So they're
amplifying the benefits of the res virtual and our rest
ritual is shielded from light and oxygen because light and

(01:10:21):
oxygen deactivate res virtual. So if you're taking respritual on
a liquid, it's not working because it's gonna it's not
gonna work after two days. The liquid is gonna lose
all that's res virtual within two or three days. That's
what happens when a bottle of red wine, Let's say
you've got a really nice, uh Spanish red wine like
a rioha or a taper a EO. You open the

(01:10:44):
red wine and the respritul starts to break down, and
if you don't cork it properly and put in a refrage,
the rest viritual's gone in a day or two. So
if you're taking a liquid res virtual or a powdered
res viritual, it's a waste of money. This rest fritul
is in the capsule with a really tight weave, and
that shields the respertual from oxygen so it doesn't decay.

(01:11:07):
But it also shields a resperritual from light, so it
doesn't get deactivated by the light. Light, even a light
bulb deactivates a res virtual. So we take the green
stuff out of vegetables and we impregnate that in the capsule,
and this shields the rest virtual from light. So this
is fully functioning res virtual. All you need is one. Today,
when we come back from a break, I'm going to

(01:11:28):
tell you why you need rest Virtual. Jerry Hicky Invite Health.
Don't go anywhere, We'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (01:12:31):
Okay, welcome back, Jerry Hickey for invite Health. And you
know my background is pharmacy and nutrition. That's my background
a license pharmacist. In any event, we're talking about res
vertue and how it's good for lung health and how
it's good for the pancreas. It also gets into the
thyroid and shows the thyroid, It gets into the adrenal
glands and shows the adrenal glands because it's this really
tiny molecule that's very powerful as an antioxidant, anti inflammatory

(01:12:53):
agent of that kind of cellular inflammation. It's not good
for arthritis inflammation. It's more for cellular inflammation. I don't
want to confuse you with that. You know, you hit
the word inflammation, you think it's going to be good
for ourthritis. It's not. It's good for inflammation like in
the pancreas or the thyroid, or the liver or the
kidneys or you know, but it's great for the brain,

(01:13:14):
and that's why I take it. So even though it's
good for the lungs, which I'm happy to take it
to support the strength of my lungs, it is fantastic
for the brain and older people really need it. First
of all, the brain is a super high energy organ.
It uses up a tremendous amount of the calories from
each meal. The brain is only about two pounds dry,

(01:13:36):
but it uses up twenty percent of the energy from
each meal. So think about that. You weigh two hundred pounds,
your brain is two pounds and so it's one percent
of your body weight, and it's using up twenty percent
of the energy from each meal. So it's a super
high energy organ. To get that energy to the brain,
it has to have this very reliable circulatory system, which

(01:13:57):
it does. The problem is the regulatory system starts to
fill you with age. The blood vessel walls thickened. It's
a natural process. It's not a good thing, but things
like exposure to pollution and bad foods and stuff alcohol
that I said pollution that thickens the blood vessel walls
and it's harder for the blood vessel walls to respond

(01:14:19):
to the heart and get the blood into your brain.
So circulations to the brain generally declines between ten to
fourteen percent. So the first study I saw that made
me jump on the rest virtual bandwagon, I mean, I
believe me. I saw other studies about rest virtual where
it was a great antioxygen et cetera. But the thing
that really made me sit up and pay attention was

(01:14:40):
a study out of Germany, Berlin, Germany, the Max Planck
Institute and Shariit University Hospital, and they took people in
their seventies and eighties and gave them rest viritual. And
they were using these super high quality, extremely sensitive equipment

(01:15:05):
to monitor engage the circulation of the blood to the
brain like functional MRIs. And they saw that when they
gave rest virtual, it's what we call vasoactive. It makes
circulation better. When they gave rest viitual to these aging people,
more blood was reaching the brain. Circulation to their brain

(01:15:25):
improved dramatically. As a consequence to that, parts of the
brain that had before been aging before rest Virtual, these
parts of the brain were aging. They started to become
younger and healthier. They responded to the improved circulation and
a better supply of oxygen and nutrition. So these parts

(01:15:46):
of the brain that were drying up and shrinking were
all of a sudden plumping up again and memory improved.
Why because the parts of the brain that were really
affected by res virtual were the parts of the brain
involved with memory, cognitive function, you know, your ability to
learn and retain inflammation information, your ability to figure things out,

(01:16:11):
so your ability to know if you're sitting and standing,
or where you are or how to get home. So
like your internal GPS, all these things suffer with age
and you really suffering people like Alzheimer's disease. So when
they gave these people two hundred milligrams are resprotual over
a six month period, circulation was restored to their aging brain.

(01:16:33):
The organs involved with memory and cognitive functions and figuring
things out, you know, executive function, et cetera, were reblossoming.
They were becoming younger and healthier and stronger and plumping
up the way they should be, and the brain improved.
The function of the brain improved. Now, a different study,

(01:16:55):
the Reshaw Study in Australia, one hundred women a year
on res virtual. They all eventually wound up a year
on resartual. They all wound up being a year on
a placebo, a fake pill, so fifty to them areund
res virtual fifty around placebo. Then they switched them around

(01:17:17):
for the second year, and they found that res Virtual
restored circulation to their aging brain by seventeen percent, which
perfectly offsets the decline in circulation that you see in
aging people and people in the seventies and eighties, sixty
seventies and eighties. It just perfectly offsets that. So that's
why I'm taking res Virtual to restore circulation to my

(01:17:40):
aging brain. Even though I exercise and eat all my
vegetables and I'm doing everything right, there's still an aging process.
You can't avoid toxins in the atmosphere, the toxins all
around us. You can't. I mean, they're just there, and
that affects you circulation in your brain, even if you
try to do everything right. It's just the way it is.
Aging itself is toxic to the brain. So the rest

(01:18:03):
virtual restores circulation to an aging brain. They even found
in Alzheimer's patients. Georgetown University was leading the charge on that,
but there was a whole bunch of other universities involved,
and they found that even Alzheimer's patients. Giving them a
res virtual improved their physical function. They were like better
equipped at washing themselves and dressing themselves. They were more independent,

(01:18:26):
and their memory purportedly improved a little bit. So it
slowed down Alzheimer's. So imagine how if it can help
in Alzheimer's brain, imagine what it could do for you
in my brain. So every morning, what my breakfast? I'm
taking rest Virtual. Now it does the second thing for
the brain, besides restoring circulation in an aging brain, which
is astounding, It shields the brain better. We have a

(01:18:47):
natural shielding apparatus in our brain throughout our brain called
the blood brain barrier, and it keeps things from leaving
the circulation and entering the brain. So there's all these
blood vesses going around the brain, and they have toxins
in them. I mean, that's just how life is. You
don't want them in the brain because something that could
be a little toxic to your skin could be poisonous

(01:19:09):
to the brain, right, I mean, it's just more so
the brain is just that much more sensitive to these things.
But that ability to shield the brain to filter out
toxins from the blood gets leaky with age. The blood
brain barrier starts to break down with age and it
gets leaky. Whereas veritrul reactivates the cells that rebuild a

(01:19:31):
blood brain barrier. It rebuilds a blood brain barrier and
blocks toxins from getting into your brain. It literally blocks
toxins from getting into your brain. So I take one
hundred million as a rest FERIR twelve every morning went
my breakfast because it's great for my brain. So here's
what we spoke about already. I'm almost out of time.
You bick one all, You bick win all restores metabolism

(01:19:53):
to your heart. It makes your heart younger. A younger
heart is more reliable, gives you more energy. But a
younger heart art also doesn't tend to have heart attacks.
So they've shown that you bick when all is associated
with fewer heart attacks and older people, even in people
with sick hearts. Then biour curcumin five ox and is
on special which has been proven in human clinical trials

(01:20:15):
published in medical journals, to block the pain and suffering
and damage scene in the joints of people with arthritis.
It improves range of motion, how much you can bin
y knee or your arm et cetera. Any arthritic joint,
you could bend it better, use it better, you could
walk further more comfortably, et cetera. So it's great for arthritis,
but it's really safe and it also triggers the formation

(01:20:37):
and new blood vessel excuse me of new memory cells
in the brain. Bierkircuman fitherlocks and triggers the formation and
new memory cells in the brain. Then I spuck back
rape seat extract, which helps circulation in the body. That's
why it helps improve blood pressure in diabetics and people
who are obese, and smokers and people with high blood pressure.
It helps you start their blood pressure back towards normal.

(01:20:58):
If you take it before meals, it helps a lot
your blood sugar and it helps you lose some weight.
Then I spoke about res virtual and that restores circulation
to the aging brain. So I'm taking all these things.
I take the grape sheet extract, the rest firitual, and
the ubiquimal. With breakfast, I take the Biokirkmin five blocks,
and with dinner because I want to stimulate the manufacturer

(01:21:19):
of brain cells when I'm sleeping at night. So you know,
I want to buy a Kirkman five locks and to
be there when I'm sleeping, so I generate the formation
of more memory cells. Otherwise I don't generate as many
because I'm seventy. We lose that ability with age. Look
up the term cognitive reserve. Biocircumin five blocks is great
for cognitive reserve making new memory cells something we lose
the ability to do as perfectly as we grow older. Now.

(01:21:42):
The rest firtual also besides restorage circulation to an aging brain,
res vitual also rebuilds a blood brain barrier to keep
toxins out of the brain because the older brain is
less protected. There's fewer antioxygens in the aging brain, so
any toxin that gets into the brain is going to
cause more DAMA in like the brain of a sixty
year old than in the brain of a twenty five

(01:22:03):
year old. So res vitral restores the integrity of the
blood vessel walls of the blood brain barrier. It's a
barrier to keep bad things out of your brain, like
like bacteria, like toxins, like soot, like pollution. All these
things damage the brain, and they damage the brain more
severely than older people because they don't have the protection

(01:22:25):
in their brain. Now, I only have it like a
man and a half. So I'm just gonna add nucleotides
to today's specials. So you biq whinos on special biocarcumin
five blocks and grapes heat extract and respviirtual, I'm going
to add nucleotides. Nucleotides are these tiny molecules that make you,
that help energize you. And when you take nucleotides, it

(01:22:49):
can help you with fatigue because it's it's it's converted
into ATP. The it's the currency for energy. Like ninety
seven percent of all your energy comes out out of ATP.
So nuclear tides will give you energy if you're fatigued.
So I have like older people that are like ballerina
instructors and you know, choreographers or they work in construction,

(01:23:11):
will taking nuclear tides for day to day energy. But
it also energizes your immune system, and that's what I
really use nucleotides for. My wife and I keep three
bottles each throughout the winter if we use them. If
we use up too, we'll restock it because it's instant

(01:23:31):
energy fit the immune system. So let's say you start hacking,
you start coughing, you start sneezing, take five nucleotides twice
a day for like three days, and it kind of
just goes away. I mean, it's rather amazing. You'll see
after the first or second dose of the nucleotides you're
starting to get better. I mean, it's really amazing. So
nucleotides is a quick tonic to supply energy for your

(01:23:54):
immune cells. Your immune cells require a tremendous amount of energy.
But if you're diabeticche or you're over sixty, you don't
necessarily have that kind of energy available for your immune cells.
So you're starting to get sick. Take the nuclear tides
goes into your system within fifteen minutes to the immune
cells are feasting on it and they get the energy
to go there and fight the good fight against whatever

(01:24:15):
virus or bacteria or yeast or you know, fungus, whatever
it might be. You you're better equipped to fight off
an infection. Now I'm finished in like fifteen seconds. But
there's nutritionis that invite. So all the things I spoke
about today are on special Right, big deal. You get
half forth on two bottles half for suggest a retail.
