You're about to receive responsible, life changing information on health
and nutrition. You'll hear from Invite professionals who are leaders

(00:21):
and targeted and anti aging nutrition. Get ready for tomorrow's
nutritional Science Today right here, right now.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Good morning, Happy Saturday. It's May May third. Wow, I
moves on and we're in the beautiful part of the year.
You know, you got your rain and stuff, but it's
just a beautiful time of year and that event. Welcome
to the program. Jerry Hickey, pharmacist, nutritionist. I'll be covering

(00:49):
the first segments of the program and then doctor and
Manda Williams completes the rest of the program. So we
take turns. Do it the first half or first the
half hour? I should say, all the products I speak
about on this program, you get fifty percent off suggested
retail on two bottles. That's a big deal. But if
you use the following code, you'll get an extra ten

(01:12):
percent off on any Invite product, including today's sale products.
So that code is my name and the radio station
Jerry wor Jerry Wor. So you get ten percent off
just by mentioning that. So if you go into the stores,
you mention it, If you call on the phone, you
mentioned it. If you order through the website, which is

(01:34):
Invite Health, you type it in and that allows you
to get ten percent off all the products, all the
Invite products, including today's specialists. So use that code. Now.
The first product I want to speak about is something
I take daily. I do have an arthritic knee, but
my left knee, but it doesn't bother me. In fact,

(01:55):
I'm extremely active and so I'm not taking it for
that called Biocurcumin five locks, and it's one of my
favorite favorite all time nutritional supplements. It's two herbs put together.
One is Boswellia, which is frankinsense. You know it is frankincense,
and the other is kirk all those ingredients that come

(02:16):
from turmeric. But it's a well absorbed turmeric. Most turmics
are not well absorbed. This one is very well absorbed
because they reduced a particle size in any event. The
biocurcumin five loxin has been my go to for people
with arthritic pain. But as I mentioned, I'm not using
it for that. I'm actually using it for my brain.

(02:39):
In fact, that another new studies came out and that
we took about that in a couple of seconds. So
there's a tremendous amount of evidence that biocurcument five lox
in both herbs help arthritis stay helped greatly, and I
urge you to try it and give it a chance.
It takes a little time to kick in, but it

(03:00):
does a great job because it's very safe to take.
In fact, it's rewarding because it benefits your brain and
your colon and the colon that reduces inflammation to kind
of inflammation that increases your risk of colon cancer, so
it is protective in the colon. So here's the thing.
Biocurricument fible oxid is my go to supplement for arthritis
pain and arthritis suffering and stiffness and improving your ability

(03:23):
to function like walk up the stairs or take a
walk with your grandchild or whatever it might be, or
exercise or just go in the backyard new gardened, whatever
it might be. You'll be a lot more comfortable taking
to supplement. So why is that so important. If you
go into a pharmacy, the shelves are loaded with painkillers.
The shelves are full of all these different companies from

(03:46):
China and the et cetera selling you painkillers. The problem
with those pain killers like ibuprofen is that they're dangerous.
They were never meant to be used on a daily basis.
When I first went to pharmacy school in the seventies,
those drugs which were just being introduced were only used
for two, three, four days at a time. They were

(04:07):
rescue medication when you're really sore. They weren't meant to
be used daily. Now they're used on a daily basis,
which is a big mistake by the medical industry, the
medical pharmaceutical industry. That's a major mistake. I'm surprised there's
not a lot more lawsuits. Maybe people are not connecting
the dots. They're not connecting the problems they're having with
the drugs they're taking daily. When it comes to these

(04:28):
drugs for arthritis and so these drugs I'm talking about
are enz eights non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs. Drugs like solocoxib,
which you know, a trade name would be Celebrics or ibuprofen.
So think of advil and new print and motrin a
leave which is an approxy and sodium salt they're salting there.

(04:51):
Most of these drugs are dangerous. They do have a
modeld effect on the eyes, a negative effect on your eyes.
They do have a negative effect on your hearing. For instance,
you'll develop tendadus tonight as springing in the years, buzzing
in the years. They can damage your kidneys if you're
taking them on a daily basis, They're likely damaging your
kidneys in a piecemeal kind of way, which eventually could

(05:14):
be a problem. They could damage your heart and actually
actually poison your heart and lead to heart failure. And
they could cause a stroke. They could cause a stroke
within the first seven days of use. So not to
mention serious bleeding ulcers. Dangerous bleeding ulcers. So the biocarctment
five lockxin works as well as those drugs. It takes

(05:36):
a little longer to become effective. It has to build
up in the system, but when it builds up in
the system, it's effective. It's as effective as these drugs
without any danger, you don't have the danger. See, you'll
start getting relief within a couple of days without worrying
about having a stroke, without worrying about damaging your kidneys,
without worrying about damaging your heart, or your eyes or

(05:59):
your hearing. So it's a really good way to go,
and I strongly recommend it. If you're taking a drug
like you'd be profit every day and you really don't
have to, you really should consider switching to Biocurricumum five box,
And I strongly recommend the switch because over time it'll
it'll be very important. It'll really be protective because you
won't get the side effects of the drugs and the

(06:21):
toxicities the poisonings of the drugs. So the way it works,
it inhibits the two major pathways that lead to inflammation,
pain and suffering and stiffness and damage to your joints.
There the Cox two pathway, the five lopoxyton these pathway.
So this helps with all kinds of painted inflammation, and
research shows from places like Tufts University, I mean solid

(06:44):
research institutions, real medical institutions Johns Hopkins, et cetera, that
these herbs, especially when used together, work as well as advil.
I'll leave celebrates as brain, all these things without the
side effects, without the talk. Now, because of the pathways
they inhibit, and they do it in a good fashion

(07:07):
that they don't overwhelm the system. The drugs can overwhelm
the system, and that's one reason why they're toxic. They
suppress systems and pathways too much, they're too strong. These
do it in a way that it reduces the pathways
that can cause suffering and pain and damage to the joint,

(07:27):
but still allow those pathways to function enough to trigger
the healing process. Because you need these pathways for healing.
That's one reason why those drugs lead to problems like
kidney damage and ulcers, because they impede not just the
pain pathway that these these molecules are involved in, but
also the healing pathways that they're involved in. So if

(07:48):
you do the biocharrectment file loxing, you still have the healing,
you don't have the pain, whereas if you do advile
or a lever celebrates, you don't have the pain, but
you don't have the healing. You need healing. To buy
a CURRICUMU five loxtion have the healing without the pain. Now,
So why am I taking to by a curcumin five
lox if I don't need it for my arthritis. Well,

(08:09):
for one thing, I'm prone to uh polyps polyps. In
certain cases polyps can convert into colon cancer. So to
buy a curcumin five lox and reduce the kind of
inflammation in my colon that increase the risk of be
developing polyps and the polyps going sour and converting into
colon cancer. So that's one reason why I take to
bio curcumin five lox. The other reason is my brain.

(08:32):
There's been a terrific amount of research Boswellia is good
for reducing inflammation in the brain. See inflammation in the
brain accruise with age. It builds up with age because
the pathways that generally protect the brain are receding in function.
Pathways like this suproxide dismal taste pathway and the gludethinmee
peroxidase pathway, the catalaze pathway. These these are powerful protective

(08:56):
mechanisms in the brain that really start to decline like
in your late fifties and your sixties, and some of
them are basically vacant in your seventies. So by taking
the biocircumin five lox and you're reinstilling protection of your brain.
That's one thing it's doing. It's working as a powerful antioxidant,
anti inflammatory agent. Both of the IRPs, both the frankincense

(09:19):
and the kirkumen, both of the IRPs. And I'm using
kircumen in a general way of describing turmeric because everybody
knows it as kirkuman. So we'll just use curcumin instead
of turmeric. But this is a well absorbed turmeric. The
cur really defends the brain as an antioxidant. But they've
shown that when you do a very well absorbed cercumen
like the biocurcumen. There are three well absorbed circumens. We

(09:42):
have two of them. One of them comes out of UCLA,
but it's too lowal potency. I don't even know why
they're selling it the way. They sell it as a
super low potency and they charge way too much money.
Then there's the one with the pepper in a bioparine
which helps you absorb it. We have that call it
curcumin complex. And then the one I use, which is

(10:03):
the biocurriculu five loxtion because I want both herbs functioning
in my brain. So the biocurcumen has been shown to
stimulate a brain function and reduce brain fatigue for about
six hours after taking it. You take it with food.
It's absorbed better that way, and for about six hours
your brain is working better. But it's much more than
that because the biocurcumen allows the brain to seed itself

(10:26):
with new healthy brain cells. And that's really important. When
you're young, you release these molecules at night, nerve growth factor,
brain drived neurotropic factor in several others, and they trigger
to formation and new memory cells. But when you're older,
you're not releasing these factors anymore. You're not releasing these
growth factors, these nerve growth factors to stimulate the formation

(10:47):
of new memory cells. So when you take the biocurcumen,
you start releasing these nerve growth factors in more abundance. Again,
like a younger person, you're getting a bigger volume of
the release of these nerve growth factors. You're creating more
memory cells. So if you're creating memory cells, that means well,
guess what much less risk of losing your memory in

(11:08):
a dangerous manner. That's called cognitive reserve. In other words,
you might have brain cells that are damaged, or they're
involved with depression, or even have some Alzheimer's gunk building
up in your brain. But if you have cognitive reserve,
your brain goes on working. And that's the whole point here.
Getting enough sleep, eating your vegetables, getting exercise, communicating with people,

(11:30):
challenging your brain. All of these are meant to create
new molecules in the brain, release new happy chemicals in
the brain, nor transmitters, but also to feed the brain
with these growth factors. When you do it to biocurriculmum
five looxtion, you're guaranteeing the release of higher levels of
these growth factors. You're seating your brain every night when
you go to sleep with more new, happy, non damaged

(11:53):
memory cells. So you have cognitive reserve, so your brain
could go on working. In fact, the new review just
came out, they just did a meta analysis. Now, a
meta analysis is where you take a whole bunch of studies.
They have to be high quality studies. They can't have
bias because otherwise you ruin your meta analysis. So you
choose a bunch of studies in a non biased fashion,

(12:17):
and the studies have to be good. The studies have
to be honest and well reported, and they have to
have enough people in them, and they have to take
place for a long enough time. We call that a
well powered study. There has to be enough people where
you take a drug, rest supplement, or go on a
diet for a long enough time. That's called a well
powered study. So they have to be well powered studies
that lack bias, and as you choose them, you can't

(12:38):
have bias. So you have to do it in a
random fashion. And what you do is you plug into
all these search engines the terms you want. So in
this case, you would do turmeric, curcumen, memory, brain, neurology,
and then it brings up those studies and then you say, oh,
here's one with turmeric and memory, and here's another word,

(12:58):
turmic mermury. Okay, out of all these twenty studies, eighteen
of them are great. The other two they're not long enough,
there's not enough people in them, or there's something wrong
with the study. It's not a well. So they take
a lot of these studies, they put them together. So
now you're getting all these different researchers, all these different
clinics and hospitals and universities and so many more people.

(13:19):
So when you put these together, it gives you a
much greater ability to judge if something works or it
doesn't work. So they just did a meta analysis on
turmeric cur biocurcum brand new. They included nine randomized controlled
medical trials that took place over a long period of

(13:41):
time with enough people in them, hundreds and hundreds of people,
and they said, the biocurcument really does have a really
good effect on your cognitive functions globally. Now that's really
important globally and affects many facets of the brain and

(14:04):
thinking and memory and judgment and the ability to focus
and concentrate and rationalize and come up with solutions. So
they found not only was the turmeric good for the brain,
but it was globally good for the brain. You can't
say that about many things. You could say it about
fissu oils, you could say it about alcohol with ala,

(14:26):
you could say it about biocurricum in five bloc They're
globally great for the brain. Okay, I have to go
to a break. Here's the deal. Biocurricum in five loction
sound special now because of the pathways that it helps.
It's really good for knee pain and hip pain. But
it's also because great because of the pathways it inhibits.
It's great for neck pain, shoulder pain, spinal pain, back pain,

(14:51):
you know, mild headaches, stiff muscles, and if you take
it long enough, it helps with nerve pain. Not many
things help put nerve pain. So a lot of people
take bio Curcumin five blocks are fed arthritis. I generally
recommend take two twice a day for a couple of
weeks to really get it going, and then you cut
down to two or three a day with food. Take

(15:13):
it with food, and it's fantastic for your pain, and
it's safe to take. In fact, it's good for you
because it's great for your brain. So that's the bier
Cirricumum five Blocent And here's today's deal. You buy any
of the products I'm speaking about and use this code,
you get an extra ten percent off. Will tell you
in a second. But all the products I'm talking about,
which is to buy a Curricum five blocks and krill oil,
that's what I'm going to be speaking about. You buy

(15:34):
two bottles, you get fifty percent off suggested retail and
if we ship it to you when it's thirty five
dollars or more, we pay the shipping. But it gets
better than that because if you mentioned the following code,
you get an extra ten percent off today's sale products.
In fact, you get a ten percent off any invite product.
So here's the code, Jerry Woor. It's simple. It's my

(15:57):

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Okay, Welcome back, Jerry Hickey, Invite Health. That's the second
segment of my half hour. And when I finish, there's
a news break and then doctor Amanda Williams comes on
for the rest of the program. Doctor Amanda Williams is
full of information, very accurate information. She's pretty brilliant, medical school, biology,

(17:48):
you name it. She's got all that in her background. Now,
crill oil, we have a very high qualitykrill oil. It's
extremely fresh. You can't get fresher as super concentrated is
from a Norwegian company, Norwegian Krill will. Of course, they
get it down in Antarctica, and the krill is loaded

(18:10):
with things that create your brain, which is really interesting.
So I take krill for my brain, even though it
also protects your heart from heart attacks and strokes. We'll
talk about that briefly because I don't have a lot
of time left. Your brain is the human brain is
about sixty percent fat, approximately sixty percent fat. So you
don't want the brain made out of butter and margarine

(18:32):
and corn oil. You want your brain made out of
things like fish oils, and krill is to me, the
best way to get a fish oil. It's clean, it
doesn't clust fishbirds, it's really easy to swallow. But because
the way the fish oils are delivered, they survive the
stomach contents, all the acids and enzymes, and they're absorbed

(18:54):
very well, and plenty of them are there for your
heart and your brain do the ingredients in krill. In fact,
krill is superior for the brain versus fish oils because
there's additional things in krill that make your brain. For instance,
the outside of the brain cell is called the cellular membrane,

(19:16):
the cellular membrane, and the cellular membrane stiffens with age.
And when it stiffens with age, it's not transmitting information
and the release of brain messengers properly. They're called newer transmitters.
And this leads to things like confusion, decreased memory, brain fatigue,
poor quality sleep, confusion, inability to focus, a drop in memory,

(19:42):
and depression, even anxiety. So a major reason for that
is it's harder to absorb fish oils as you get older.
So krill is really well absorbed and it gets to
the brain and it delivers other things to the brain.
So I mentioned that the cellular membrane, the outside of
your brain cell, stiffens with age. This is a reason
why a lot of things go wrong in a brain

(20:02):
with age. The krill has a whole bunch of things
needed to recreate the housing of your brain cell, the
cellular membrane, the housing of your brain cell cellular membrane,
remember that term. So the krill has not just fiss
oils in abundance that are well absorbed and protected from
your digestive juices, so you actually absorbed them, but It

(20:24):
also has phosphatides like phosphatyle coline, phosphatyl andocetone, phosphatitle seriene,
and phosphatyle ethanolamine. All of those four things are needed
to create but coding. It a brain cell, and it
has astesantine that protects a brain cell. And it has coalin,
a type of colin that gets into the brain that

(20:45):
allows the brain cell to work. So you make the
cellular membranes, but you also protect them because the ingredients
in krill allow you to make something in your brain
that's really important after the age of fifty called the
plasma egen. I mentioned earlier on in the program in
the first segment that a lot of the protective pathways

(21:05):
in the brain decline with age, and that's one reason
why the brain gets scrambled and doesn't function well, et cetera.
And we're at risk for diseases and a brain as
we grow older. Well, the things that are dropping are
these antioxidant pathways I mentioned some names before, like cuproxid
dismutating gluedithine peroxidase stay dropping function, so it's easier to
kill brain cells or destroy brain cells, or damage brain cells.

(21:28):
While the krill oil specifically makes plasmalagens, then function as
a bulletproof vest on your brain cell and protect your
brain cell from dying or getting damaged. So although your
antioxtint defense mechanisms are dropping as you grow older after
your fifties, the krill puts things in place that prevent damage.

(21:53):
So not only is the curll recreating the cellular membrane
so the brain functions well, so that brain can communicate,
could be happy, and you could sleep, and you can
think and you can remember. But the krill is shielding
the brain cell by making plasmologens. But it does more
than that. It creates things called protectins and resolvins, and
the protectins and resolvings pluck out damage in the brain.

(22:16):
They prevent the brain from getting damaged. And it creates
prostaglandins to make the brain work properly and reduce inflammation
in the brain. So the krill is making a brain,
but the krill is also protecting the brain, and the
krill in a third way, is making the brain work
like a much younger brain. Again, so there's three things
going on. One you're protecting the brain, two you're recreating

(22:38):
the brain healing the brain. And three, the brain is
working better because the EPA and the dha and the
phosphatides of the coling allow you to make an ingredient,
a very important molecule in the brain called a setal colding. Now,
acetyl coling in the brain allows you to remember things,

(22:59):
allows you to learn. Allows you to remember, so like
remembering somebody's name, remembering that you have a show to
go to one Sunday, remembering a restaurant you went to
three years ago which you go ol friend, whatever it is.
That's the ascetal calling that allows you to do that.
But acetal colling also allows you to solve problems like
you know how to drive somewhere, where you park your

(23:20):
car or where you put your car keys, how much
tip do you give after dinner? All these things. But
the acetal culling does a third thing. It helps you
create new memory cells at night when you go to sleep.
So taking to buy our curcumen, which is of the
five locks in, which is the first product I spoke
about on the program this morning, and taking a krill
oil are two magnificent things you could take for your

(23:42):
brain after the age of fifty at any age. They're
good for the brain, but you have to have them
after like fifty or fifty five. You really need to
have them. You really want to keep your brain functioning well.
But the krill does something else. The krill besides being
great for your brain, and by the way, it's used
in your eyes, it's used in your muscles, it's good

(24:02):
for women's breasts, and it's good for your bones. It
does all these other things too. The krill is really
important for your heart. A lot of things create inflammation
in the heart, a very low grade, persistent inflammation. We
would call that chronic inflammation that can be measured in
a blood test called HSCRP. HSCRP stands for highly sensitive

(24:25):
c reactive protein, So HSCRP lets you know that the
heart is inflamed. So if you see a low level
of HSCRP, it shows that there's consistent inflammation. And what
does that inflammation do in the heart. It clogs the
arteries at leads to hardening of the arteries, the biggest
killer on the planet. So HSCRP of one or less

(24:49):
is great. There's no inflammation in the heart, so my
HSCRP is generally zero point three. I mean at the
age of seventy one, that's rather amazing. My HSCRP is
generally zero point three. I don't have any inflammation in
my heart if it's two, so one is normal, one
or less is normal. If it's two, you're clogging your arteries.

(25:11):
That's what the research shows, the human research shows, and
if it's three, it's really dangerous. If your hs CRP
is three or more, that means not only are you
clogging your arteries, but the arteries are inflamed, and that
clogging it's called plaque. The plaque can break off. That's
called plaque vulnerability. It could break off and close a
stroke or a heart attack. So you want to periodically

(25:33):
get the HSCRP checked. Your doctor may or may not
be familiar with this test, and if it's elevated, you
take krill, and krill lowers HSCRP magnificently within weeks. So
that's why I'm taking krill. I want to lower my HSCRP,

(25:54):
but it lowers a second nasty that can affect your
heart your brain too, called triglycerides. Try Glycerides are generally
made out of fats and sugars. So if you drink
a lot of beer, if you eat a lot of desserts,
if you eed a lot of like like raisins or
something something very sugary, your triglysrides go up. Now, normally
triglycerides are used for energy, so a little bit is

(26:16):
needed for energy, so it is a normal triglis ride level.
But when it's elevated, it invades your heart, and it
invades your your liver, and it causes it can even
cause death at a liver. It could cause liver cancer,
but it's destructive of deliver. It causes fatty liver disease,
and in the heart it clogs the heart. And triglycerides

(26:37):
are a major cause of strokes. So everybody's worried about cholesterol,
which we should pay attention to, but you also have
to consider your triglycerides. And I see on people's blood
tests not even the triglys rids aren't even checked all
the time. Crill oil will lower your trichlystrides. So even
if your doctor didn't feel it was important to check,
which it is extremely important to check, I question you

(26:59):
on that. Next time you have your blood tests, tell
the doctor doing chrome trigly rides if they haven't been
customarily doing it, but Krill oil does a great job
of lowering triglycerides, even better than fissials. Ficials will lower
trigly rides, but Krill is better. So let's review real
quick because I'm just about out of time. Krill lowers
your triglysrides. Krill lowers inflammation on the heart, the kind

(27:21):
of inflammation that leads the strokes and heart attacks and
clogged blood vessels of the heart. And Krill is great
for recreating a healthy brain after the age of like
fifty or fifty five. It's really important. Bio Curricuman five
locks in, which is the other supplement on special is
great for pain. It's great for inflammation, and it's safe.
It doesn't have the side effects of advil or celebrates
or relieve. It's very safe. But it also is great

(27:44):
for your brain because it triggers the formation of new
memory cells and it helps with fatigue the brain that
helps you focus. So the Biocricumu five locking is great
for your joints and your back and your muscle pain
and your nerve pain, et cetera. But it's also great
for your brain. So here's the deal. By either the
buyercarcmin five lotion or to krill. I use both. They're

(28:05):
very high quality, they're very fresh, they're very clean, they're
very pure, and they really work to research human clinical
trials proved us and we know that dose, so we
know they're safe and we know they'll benefit you. By
two of either, you get fifty percent of suggested retail
and if we ship it to you and it's fifteen
dollars thirty five dollars more, we pity shipping thirty five
dollars more, but also used as code Jerry Wor and

(28:26):
get an extra ten percent Jerry wr Thanks for listening,
God bless, have a great day.

Speaker 3 (29:51):
Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams, Director of Science at Help and I know
you just got done listening to Jerry Hickey talking all
about Biocurquemen five locks and and Krill Oil Advanced. So
I'm going to continue along our path of wellness here

(30:13):
and talk about some different nutrients that are just beneficial
for overall wellness. At the end of the day, our
goal is to age gracefully and there's many ways that
we can accomplish this. I always say that we have
to look at a comprehensive approach to our dietary supplement routine.

(30:34):
We have to look at our exercise, we have to
look at stress management. There are many different factors that
come into play when it comes to our wellness journey,
and that is what we are experts at at Invite
Health is to really help you help yourself, and we
know that there are many moving parts to this. We

(30:54):
have to look at the foods that you're eating, we
have to look at your exercise, we have to look at,
of course your stress that we have to look at
the other factors that sometimes are beyond our control, such
as environmental pollutants and what we can be doing to
help our bodies offset that. Now, interestingly enough, I talk

(31:17):
about the environmental pollutants and microplastics and all of those
lovely things that we have to contend with on a
pretty regular basis, because I like people to be aware
of these. And just this week there was two more
studies that came out, one on ultra processed foods. And
if you've listened to me before, you know I am

(31:39):
not a fan of ultra processed foods. We should be
eating whole foods, natural foods, foods that aren't peppered with
pesticides and artificial colors and chemicals. All of that stuff
we do not need to be eating. And unfortunately, many
decades ago in this country in particular, because we kind

(32:02):
of started this trend globally, we decided that we would
try to simplify foods and make things easy, and in
doing so, we risked our own health. And we are
now certainly seeing the data coming out that's showing that
direct impact of ultra process foods. I always default back

(32:25):
to a study that was done just right here locally
in South Florida at Florida Atlantic University, where they were
assessing the daily consumption of ultra processed foods of typical Americans.
And it's estimated that a good seventy five percent of
your daily intake is coming from ultra processed foods. And

(32:46):
we know that those ultra process foods have a direct
correlation to so many of the chronic disease states that
we are seeing spread not just here in the United States,
but also throughout the world. So in this new study
that came out they were looking at the dietary surveys
and then comparing that to to mortality data, and this

(33:09):
was coming from eight different countries, so from Australia and Brazil, Canada, Mexico,
and the United States as well as the UK, and
that they were looking at the premature death rate and
then the direct correlation between that and ultra processed foods
and they could see a significant link between these two.

(33:33):
And not that this is something new, this is something
that clearly has been going on for many a decade.
But I think that now that they are really starting
to dive into that and say, what is the causal
reason why someone has heart disease, what is the causal
reason why someone has chronic kidney disease and non alcoholic

(33:53):
fatty liver disease for example. So this was all published
in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine and it really
just led to kind of a call to action to
reduce ultra processed food consumption. And it's so important we
certainly know the damaging, harmful effects of this, you know,

(34:18):
looking at the rate, like I said, of ultra processed
food consumption here in the United States, and you know,
you can look in other countries where you know, they
don't have as high of the consumption as we do,
but you're still seeing those direct links with you know,
cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, certain cancers, certainly mood disorders as well.

(34:42):
So you have to look at things such as depression
and anxiety and the way that foods can play a
significant role into this. And when you have the different
connection points in the body from the brain and the
guy and we don't assess the foods first and say,

(35:05):
you know, where are we where's that starting point? And
this is one of the things that kind of drew
me into this world of dietary supplementation. Being traditionally trained
as a doctor, you don't look at diet you don't
look at foods in that way. You just you come
out of medical school with the standard stamp that says

(35:26):
just eat healthy. Well, what in the world does that
actually mean? So for me to be able to look
at the deeper connections and to say, yes, there is
a direct correlation between the gut and the liver, and
between the gut and the brain, and so many of
the different conditions that people are presenting with at a

(35:47):
doctor's office. You know whether that be anxiety, depression, low mood,
low energy. And if we don't say, well, let's start
with the starting point of your foods, then we are
doing a disservice. And so that's what we do at
Invite Health is that we help people really identify where
you can start to make these minor improvements along your

(36:10):
way and really start to see that change and how
you feel each and every single day. And I'm telling
you it can make a huge difference. I speak from experience.
I myself had to make some serious changes to my
diet many years ago, and this is something that I

(36:31):
say that you know whenever you're having a conversation with
one of our wellness advisors at Invite Health, we've all
had these experiences, so you're not alone. So when you
come in and you have a consultation, we ourselves have
gone through what you're going through. And our goal is
is to give you the information and have you have

(36:54):
the tools to really be able to make a substantial
difference in your overall health. And I know it can
be achieved because I've seen it time and time again,
and I myself have experienced it. So my diet used
to be really bad I thought I was doing good.
You know, I was one of those Americans that convince

(37:16):
myself that I was eating pretty healthy, and clearly I
was not. And I look at, you know, the way
I eat now and how I manage my stress. I
have so much more energy today than I did twenty
years ago. It's really kind of remarkable. And I like
to be able to share that. That's a Jerry Hickey.
He likes to be able to share his knowledge, and

(37:36):
I like to be able to share mine as well.
So so for today, I want to talk about the
importance of multi vitamins. You know, why does that matter?
And this is a topic that has come up more
frequently where I've had people reach out to me and say,

(37:57):
you know, do I need a multi vitamin? I eat
pretty healthy? Is it really necessary that I take a
multi vitamin? From Invite Health? And my answer is always yes,
you do need a multi vitamin. Unfortunately, even if you're
doing all of the right things, your body is still
likely not getting adequate exposure to key vitamins and minerals

(38:22):
at the levels that we need in order to be
able to go through all of those proper steps and
processes in the body. Each day. So when you look
at hormone regulation, what impact is playing into that through
the action of vitamins and minerals. While we can look

(38:43):
clearly at pancreatic function, so you have glucose and insulin,
and insulin being that primary hormone, well, we know that
that is highly heavily reliant on vitamins and men minerals.
In the absence of having adequate chromium and vanadium and

(39:06):
magnesium and vitamin D for example, our body will struggle
with blood sugar control. So taking your multivitamin from Invite Health,
which is giving you a high potent amount of all
of these vitamins and minerals, starts to set that tone
for proper facilitation of blood sugar regulation. And it's always

(39:30):
remarkable when someone starts to use our Core multivitamin or
the Performance multivitamin or the multi energy powder and they
come in and they say, yeah, you know, I've dabbled
in vitamins in the past, and I used to go
over to Walgreens and I'd get a multivitamin there, but
I could never really tell if it was working. And
now I'm using the Invite Health multivitamin and within the

(39:52):
first week I can completely see the difference. I feel
more energy, I feel like I'm digesting my food better.
And all of these things make sense because you're now
getting the right amount of those nutrients. You're getting the
active form of those vitamins, you're getting the methylated B vitamins,
you're getting a full spectrum natural vitamin E. Within those multivitamins,

(40:17):
you even get coenzyme q ten, and that is so important.
We cannot overlook the role that coenzyme q ten plays
in everyday cellular function. So if you're taking a multi
vitamin that is giving you coenzyme q ten, it's giving
you those keylated minerals that allows for enhanced absorption, because

(40:39):
we want to make sure that those minerals such as
chromium and vanadium that I mentioned, that they make their
way into the bloodstream so that they can have that
impact on insulin regulation. So all of these things are
really important. So, yes, you do need to be taking
a multi vitamin multimineral each day. Which one should you take?

(41:01):
This is what it always comes down to. It really depends.
It depends on what your health goals are, what health
conditions you are potentially dealing with. Are you on certain
medications that can be blunting the effect of your nutrient absorption.
So these are all the things that we like to

(41:23):
have conversations with you about. And I always look at
the performance multivitamin as being our number one go to
across the board. Regardless if you think, well, I'm not
an athlete, why in the world would I ever use
the performance multivitamin. Well, because the performance is for cellular performance.
And if you are listening and you have blood sugar

(41:45):
issues or you have concerns with heart health, performance is
really key for you and you need to make sure
that all of your little tiny cells, the trillions of
cells in your body, that they have the ability to
function at their peak performance. And this is where the

(42:06):
Performance multivitamin comes into play. It has the inclusion of
Rodeola extract plus superoxide dismutase. Now we use two registered
trademark forms in this. We use the extra mel which
is a melon pulp derived sourcing for that superoxide dismutase.

(42:30):
So SOD is a naturally occurring antioxidant in the human body,
and it's so important for our body's ability to fight
off free radicals, but also for the protection and support
of your blood vessels. So if you're listening and you say, yeah,
I have high blood pressure, well you need to be
taking the Performance multivitamin to protect those vessels with that

(42:54):
added SOD. Now maybe you're listening and you say, well,
I'm a pre diabetic and my energy levels are quite
low or I have a lot of stress, then you
need to be taking the Performance multivitamin so that you're
getting that Rodeola extract and we use a registered trademark
form that's been used in clinical studies called Rodeo Life.

(43:14):
So when you're taking the Performance Multivitamin, you're giving your
body that opportunity to really enhance that true functionality each
and every single day. And I guarantee when you start
to take the Performance Multivitamin, you will see a significant
change in how you feel every day because we know

(43:37):
the power of those nutrients. We understand that the way
in which this multivitamin has been formulated and how your
body absorbs this is geared to increase that sell energy
output and to allow all of those different systems to
function much better. So I do have the the Performance

(43:59):
MULTIPI vitamin on special today and I certainly encourage you
to check that one out. They're so easy to take.
They're in a single packet. So every day you just
you get up, you have your breakfast, you open up
your little performance multivitamin packet and you take that. And
I do have Sometimes people will say, well, you know,
there's four pills in that. Do I have to take

(44:20):
them all at the same time. No, you certainly don't
have to. You can do a split dose. You can
take two with breakfast and two with lunch. That's fine
as well. The important thing is consistency. You want to
make sure that you're taking it every single day so
that you can build up this nice, steady state of
those vitamins, minerals and anti oxidants to allow your system

(44:43):
to really be functioning at that peak performance. We go
back to the word performance. So this particular multivitamin is
excellent for anyone, whether you're out there hitting the gym
or exercising on a regular basis, or if you feel
like you have that low energy state the performance, that's

(45:06):
the one for you. So I want to talk about
quality and the importance of how we make our all
of our supplements because I get questions about this and
sometimes people are confused when it comes to certifications, So
I want to get into that a little bit, but
I do need to squeeze in a quick break. Remember

(46:56):
back to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams.
Just talked about the performance multi vitamin. Why does that matter?
Why do your multivitamins matter? Because we know that we
likely are not getting adequate exposure to our key vitamins
and minerals just from the foods that we're eating. And

(47:17):
when you look at B vitamins, just as an example,
sometimes we like to categorize B vitamins solely as like
energy vitamins, and clearly they do play a role into that,
but we also need B vitamins for our cellular DNA
to repair. We need to have our B vitamins for
neurotransmitters to be able to be produced. So thinking of serotonin,

(47:41):
for example, how many people out there are dealing with
low grade depression. Maybe they go see their doctor and
their doctor says, well, maybe you need to be on
a mild antidepressant, which it's like, well, what's a mild antidepressant,
that's the first question you should ask, but you rarely
we'll hear a doctor say, are you getting adequate B vitamins?

(48:03):
Is your microbiome? Okay, no, they're not going to ask
these things. But we know these things at invite. So
when you look at taking even the methyl B formulation,
which is a little micro power punch of B vitamins,
it has the bioactive form of B twelve and folate

(48:27):
and it also has trimethyl glycine in it, so it
helps your body produce more glutathione, which is great for
your liver and for detoxication. So looking at methyl B,
looking at any of our multivitamins that have that comprehensive
blend of B vitamins added into it, it's so important,

(48:47):
you know, for for cardiovascular support regulation of homocysteine. If
you have elevated homocystein, that is an indication that the
blood vessels are irritated. So so homo systein is an
independent risk factor for cardiovascor disease. We know that B
vitamins help our body with the healthy methylation and for

(49:10):
better regulation of all aspects of cardiac function. So now
before the break, I had mentioned the importance of certifications
and how we go about making our products. And as
you know, because you've listened to the show for many,
many years, and you know how Jerry Hickey has taken

(49:32):
such diligent steps and pride in the work that he
has done and accomplished for the better part of thirty years.
And I get sometimes people who will ask me and
they'll say, what about USP. You know, why aren't Invite
products USP certified? And this is always an interesting topic

(49:56):
because it's not that we have a problem necessarily with
and this is the quote unquote world renowned scientific organization
that sets standards for medicines. Let me first put that
out there. And other products, so they got into the
world of doing this third party certification for different vitamins

(50:20):
and supplements, but we have to understand what they are
and what a USP certification actually means. And the reason
why I wanted to talk about this is because I
had two people who inquired about this from me this week,
and I want to break it down. I want people
to understand what USP verification means and why Invite Health

(50:41):
chooses not to do USP Verification. USP is a nonprofit
and if you want to have your products verified through them,
then you pay a hefty price and they test your
product and then they say, yes, what is you know
stated on your label is actually in the product. And

(51:03):
so thank you very much, and we're going to put
this USP Verification stamp on your label. Well why don't
we do that because we already go through this, We've
been doing this for thirty years. We go through those steps.
We know the traceability, we know where each one of
those raw materials that are in our products, where they

(51:26):
come from, how they're manufactured. Then we test each one
of the lots of products that we do. We get
a certificate of analysis stating So if you're using a
product that says it has two hundred milligrams of EGCG,
I on my end have a document that says this

(51:47):
product has two hundred and twelve milligrams of EGCG. So
we already know that when it comes to to testing quality, purity, potency,
this is something that we set the standard on thirty
years ago, before you had all of these other players
in the vitamin and supplement game. So why does that matter?
Because we have to talk about the elephant in the room.

(52:10):
What is the elephant in the room. What's the number
one company out there that does USP. It's the one
company that you will find at Walgreens, so that product line,
they are the main ones. And just to mention, they're
also owned by a pharmaceutical company. So we are not

(52:31):
We are Invite Health, that is all we are. We
are not owned by anybody, and we do all of
our own research testing. So this is just something that
needs to be put out there. So looking at the
you know, one hundred thousand different dietary supplements that are

(52:51):
sold in the United States, we know that only about
one hundred and fifty products actually carry this USP Verified
certification mark on their label. So you think to yourself, well,
that's not a lot of products that actually have USP certification. No,
it's not. And why is that? Because companies such as

(53:16):
Invite Health look at it and go, why are we
going to pay you to tell us what we already know.
So hence you have this one major company that has
ninety you know percent of their products have this USP.
And the other point that I always like to make,

(53:36):
just because you have a USP verification on your label,
as this one major company does, and I'm sure most
of you know who they are, so nature made, so
they are owned by Pharmabyte, which is an offshoot of
a major pharmaceutical company. But the reason why we don't,
you know, put that much stock into that USP verification

(53:59):
is because if you look at the ingredients in some
of those products that are USP verified, they don't have
the quality standards that we hold our products to if
they're using corn starch, if they're using artificial colors. So
the next time you have someone and maybe a friend
or a coworker that says, oh, well, you're using invite

(54:22):
Health products, Well, I use this product over here and
it has a USP verification, does your product? You can
say no, my product from invite Health doesn't have USP
because it doesn't need to because invite Health set the
standard thirty years ago as to quality, potency, purity. And
this is all that we do at invite Health. And

(54:44):
this is something that I always find is very interesting
when people start to understand, you know, what it is
that we do so much differently than so many of
these other companies that are owned by major corporate conglomerates.
You know, many folks are not aware of that that, Nesley. Now,
all the people that make chocolate also are the owners
of some major vitamin and supplement companies. Chlorox. I mean

(55:08):
the people who make your your household bleach also own
vitamin and supplement companies. Pfizer. I mean you just you
start to look bayor beayor who you know acquired Monsanto.
They own a major vitamin company. So you have to
pause and say, why is it that these these big

(55:30):
corporate conglomerates, Why is it the big pharma? Why are
they in the vitamin game? That should be your your
your question. Why are they doing this? And one of
the things that we take so much pride in is
we are the ones who are solely involved in every
step of our product development and our product launching and

(55:54):
the products making it to your home for you to use.
And we know the power of our performance multi vitamin.
As an example, the methyl B formulation that I formulated
many many years ago. So when someone's taking methyl B,
I know what they should expect out of that product.

(56:18):
I know the power of those activated B vitamins and
why I have trimethyl glycine added into it because I'm
seeing the big picture. I'm understanding that we have to
have those connection points between the liver and the brain.
So it's just one of those things that sometimes we
don't talk about here on this show. You'll hear Jerry

(56:39):
and myself talk about the wonderful line of products that
we haven't invite But I think it's important to also
tap into the reality of the world that we live in.
And you do have some of these major pharmaceutical companies
and other corporate conglomorates that own so many of those
vitamin companies that are out there, and you have to

(57:00):
question that. You have to say, why is that? And
you know there's a huge list when you start to
look and you say, wow, Centrum Emergency, Swanson's, you know,
all of these different companies that are all owned by
other major players. But at Invite Health, you know who
you're working with. You know you're working with Jerry Hickey

(57:22):
and myself and our wonderful staff of wellness advisors, and
we are the ones who are behind the science and
the formulations and the testing and the quality and that
should make a difference to you, and it certainly makes
a difference to me. That's why I'm at Invite Health.

(57:42):
That's why I'm not at a different company. This is
why I trust in what we do because I see
the work that we do. So, you know, just as
a side note, I just wanted to mention that because
I have had people who have asked me that, well,
why don't you guys have have this verification or that verification.
Every single one of our you know, contract manufacturers all

(58:03):
have the you know NSF certification and you know, all
of the certifications that we require for the regulations that
we set and the requirements we set on our end.
So these are all important things for you as a
consumer to understand when you're using invite health formulations is

(58:24):
that you can always rest assure that what is stated
on that label is in that product. So I have
many more products that I want to to talk about today.
I want to talk about the Oranges h X because
the oranges, to me, is not only a lovely thing
to have as opposed to drinking some sports drink. And

(58:48):
I'm not going to mention names, but I'm sure you
all can think of what I'm talking about here, but
the Oranges HX is a great choice. And you have
a lot of little kids who are going to be
going on off to you know, do sports camps this
summer off to any type of you know summer camp event.
They're just you know, hanging out with family and being

(59:08):
more active. This is a much better choice is to
to give those children, or adolescents, teenagers, college students, anyone
who is wanting an alternative to taking it those sports
strings is to use the Oranges HX. Now, the Oranges

(59:31):
HX is sourced from these orange pigmented fruits and vegetables,
So when you're thinking of things like carrots, for example,
and mango and papaya, this is what is contained in
the Oranges HX. But it also has a really powerful
energy blend. And this is why I wanted to bring

(59:51):
this up because for folks who are dealing with you know,
concerns with high stress, you know, adrenal chronic adrenal issues,
chronic fatigue, this product, the Oranges HX, can be a
really lovely go to for a healthy, sustained pick me

(01:00:12):
up because this proprietary energy blend that we have in
this formulation, it contains touring, there's dimethyl glycine, anacetol, gen syng,
all of these nutrients that we know are very helpful
when it comes to that HPA access to the hypothalmus
pituitary adrenal access. It also has green coffee bean extract

(01:00:36):
in it, which is wonderful because it gives you chlorogenic
acid naturally occurring from the green coffee bean, which helps
with blood sugar balance and regulation. So I want to
talk a little bit more about this, but I do
need to squeeze in a quick break. Remember, if you
use that promo code Amanda Woor, you'll get an additional
ten percent off the already discounted buy one, get one

Happy Saturday to everyone. I understand the weather's finally getting
nice and balmy up there for you, which is always

(01:02:25):
so nice. You get that that shift between you. You
go back in time and say, well, the beginning of
April was still a little chilly, and now we're into May,
so that's it's a great time to get out, get active,
you know. It's it's always interesting because you kind of
see the opposite here in South Florida. You hit May
and people are, you know, becoming more reclusive. They don't

(01:02:47):
want to go outside because it's so hot and humid.
But it's important that year round, whether you're in New
York or you're in South Florida, that you stay active
and that you do go outside and you take in nature.
And I know that I talk about air quality and
how we have to be protecting ourselves from that. That's
something that we can't necessarily outrun. You know the amount

(01:03:11):
of microplastics in our environment. We can't outrun that, unfortunately.
But what we can do is we can definitely take
steps to avoid further damage. And movement is key to
this healthy foods. What is that adherence to a Mediterranean diet.
Folks eat your fruits and your vegetables, so this is important.

(01:03:36):
Fruits and vegetables provide you with a wonderful amount of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants,
fiber which is really important for cholesterol management, blood sugar management,
just across the board. We know we need more fiber
in our diet and Americans you only get about five
to ten grams of fiber and you're supposed to get thirty.

(01:03:57):
So we know that foods is our sore for the
fiber and we want to be just doing better. And
then we look at formulations like the oranges HX, which
is giving us this wonderful exposure to fruits and to vegetables,
and it has that green coffee bean extract which is
giving us that chlorogenic acid. There's coenzyme Q ten in this.

(01:04:20):
Remember that's your gasoline for every single little cell in
your body. And if you're running on fumes, you need
coenzyme Q ten. So now you can start to see, well, hey,
if I'm taking the Performance multivitamin which gives me COQ ten,
and I take a scoop of that oranges HX, which
gives me coenzyme q ten, Wow, my cells are going
to be really happy. And they will be because you're

(01:04:44):
giving them that ability to function as they should. When
you look at mitochondrial dysfunction, this is kind of a
technical term, but what in the world's the mitochondria. That's
the powerhouse of your cell, like the core of your cell.
As we get older, there are many different reasons why
the mitochondria can start to diminish in its functionality. So

(01:05:10):
we can look at chronic inflammation being the biggest problem
in this. And where does chronic inflammation derive from. Well,
we look at diet, we look at sedentary lifestyle, and
so then you start to factor in all of those
disease states that we know about obesity, diabetes, non alcoholic

(01:05:31):
fatty liver disease, and we can see those direct connections.
So if we have more coenzyme Q ten available and
accessible for our cells to use, then we do much
better at allowing the body to go through those proper
stages and steps each day. So the orange is HX.
The reason why I'd like to mention this one in

(01:05:52):
that setting of going out, staying active and thinking about detoxification,
even though I usually zero in on product like the
greens HX for example, for detox because it has this
clorilla and the spillina and it really helps to you know,
target and bind onto those toxins. You still get the
free radical fighting ability with taking the oranges HX because

(01:06:17):
you get this really high araak exposure, so the way
in which the fruits and vegetables themselves yield a capacity
to fight off free radicals. So you're getting all of
this when you're taking the oranges HX. And like I said,
it's such a better alternative to using those junkie sports

(01:06:38):
drinks that don't do much for you. You know, they say,
oh this helps to you know, balance your electrolytes, but
you know, they have sugar alcohols in them, and they're
just not ideal. Where this you're getting touring and dimethyl
glycine and ginseeen root. You get all of these nutrients
that really help to support healthy energy levels with having

(01:07:00):
any of those negative effects that come with, you know,
some of those caffeinated beverages as an example. So during
the spring, as we get closer, as we're inching our
way closer to summer, this is one of those products
that's a really nice option for you. And maybe you
do have kids who are going to be, you know,
doing different camps throughout the summer, or grandkids. This is

(01:07:23):
a really good choice. I've had my nieces and nephews
use this throughout the years because the my one nephew
very much into soccer, and I was like, don't be
giving him those sports drinks. Here, I'm gonna get you
some oranges HX. Have him use this. And it was

(01:07:44):
amazing because number one, he really liked it, and that's
always tough with kids, so he really liked the taste,
but he also, you know, just seemed like he was
just doing better than some of the other kids out
there on the soccer field and That makes sense because
you know, you look at some of those sugary beverages,
even though they're you know, supposed to be sports drinks,

(01:08:06):
they're just loaded down with sugar. So it gives the
kids this like burst of energy, but then they kind
of come crashing down. So we don't want to do that.
We want to have nice, steady energy throughout the day.
And that's what the oranges HX can can actually yield you.
And that's an important thing because that's what we're always
looking for is how do we support our mitochondria, how
do we support that inner core of our self? And

(01:08:30):
in doing so, you know, how is it that we
can also yield these other benefits of fighting off microplastics
and fighting off the different air pollutants. There was another
study that just came out this week talking about thelates
and you know, this is something where once again, sometimes

(01:08:51):
I'll work with individuals and they think they're doing everything right.
Oh no, Amanda, I eat very healthy and I'm taking
this and I'm taking that. But then they're running off
to you know, the store, and they're buying these fragrant
lotions and shampoos and conditioners that are just ladened with
chemicals and thylates and parabins. It's like, no, not so much.

(01:09:14):
So we always want to across the board. We want
to look at everything. You know, what skincare products are
you using, What shampoo, what lotion? All of these things
make a difference because if you're using things that have
a smell to them, a fragrance, who knows what that
fragrance is. I don't know, you don't know. Probably the
people who make it aren't really sure. They just go

(01:09:36):
into their their bin of fragrances and they put that in.
So you have to be very conscientious when it comes
to minimizing your exposure to things like that, because, like
I said, there are the existence of microplastics already in
our environment. There's the existence of air pollutants that we

(01:09:58):
cannot control. As you know, I can't go out today
and say, hey, I want the air quality to be
better in my neighborhood today. It's not gonna happen. But
what I can do is I can make sure that
I'm taking my multi vitamin, that I am taking the
oranges achex that gives my body this higher amount of
antioxidant capacity to fight off those free radicals. So I'm

(01:10:21):
lessening the impact that those things can have on my cells.
So I want to try and slow down the aging process.
One of the best ways you do that is through
antioxidant use antioxidants fight free radicals. It's very very important
to recognize that. The other thing to think about, and

(01:10:45):
this is a nice partnering up, is the oranges HX,
which we know gives us this energy. We can partner
this with other products such as the active HX and
the flex HAX, and you can take a scoop of
each one of these, combine them together, make your own
little drink and put it into a blender with some ice.

(01:11:05):
You can get creative. But the active HX, which is
HMB hydroxymethyl butyrate, and then the flex HX. The flex
has the hydrolyzed collagen in it with chindroyten. We know
kondroytan has its own analgesic, so pain relieving properties to it,
and it has bromolane. Bromolane's wonderful for going up and

(01:11:29):
gobbling any amount of inflammation that occurs within the joint spaces.
So we're looking at the active HX, We're looking at
that flex HX, we look at the oranges, we say, wow,
I can take this and it can help with my
movement every day. If I am having any type of

(01:11:50):
pain or inflammation within my joint, the flex HX definitely
is going to take care of that. And I'm fighting
free radicals. So yeah, there's no excuse. Get out there
today and start your little exercise routine. And maybe your
exercise routine is you're going to go walk around your
neighborhood for ten minutes today and that you know you

(01:12:13):
do small steps can lead to big gains. So maybe
you do have a little sore hip or a sore
knee and you say, eh, I don't really feel like
doing that. No, you need to. We need to get
our Oranges HX and feel that energy. We need to
take our flex HX to lessen the pain and inflammation
in our joints. And we take that active HX because

(01:12:35):
the active HX with HMB helps to replenish lost levels
of HMB, which we know can occur just through the
aging process alone. And we need to have hydroxymethyl butter rate.
This has been shown to improve your muscle strength and
it also helps to prevent the muscle breakdown, which is

(01:12:59):
what's interesting about HMB, So this is naturally occurring in
the body. We know HMB levels start to plummet as
we get older, and this can impact even body compositions.
So if you're dealing with you know, weight gain and
you're struggling with that HMB, taking active HX from Invite

(01:13:20):
Health is a really good option for you. It not
only is you know, helping to fight off the excessive
fat build up, but it's at the same time it's
preserving muscle mass as we get older, So it has
this you know, pro anabolic property to it, so muscle builds,
but it also helps with preventing the breakdown of muscles.

(01:13:45):
So you get a win win across the board. And
we can certainly see just from the clinical trials done
on HMB, which is what we have in the active HX,
there is significant and support when it comes to individuals
who are overweight, sedentary, and you know, are not doing

(01:14:06):
any type of exercise routine, are struggling with trying to
you know, get the weight off. They found that when
they gave them HMB, the active HX formulation, when they
gave them this, that they could start to see an
improvement on overall weight loss, seeing the percent body fat

(01:14:27):
going down and their muscles becoming stronger. So we know
that when we have something that's naturally occurring in the
body and we start to lose that amount as we
get older. So whether we're looking at digestive enzyme levels
go down, makes it harder for us to digest our
foods as we get older. Same thing with HMB. If

(01:14:50):
we look at loss of muscle mass, if we look
at the increase in belly fat, Active HX is a
really good way for us to target and combat that
because what we're doing is we're rebuilding that HMB level
back into our system, and that is key. So that's
on special today. I also want to talk in some
more detail about the Flex because I turn to this

(01:15:12):
product so often when people reach out to me throughout
the week if they're in kind of a little pinch
of ah, my back is really sore, my knee is
really achy. I will give you my my tips and
tools on how to use the flex achecks on the
flip side of this break, so stick around. I will
be right back. Listening to this radio show makes learning

go through what I've talked about already today, the performance
multipidem in the active HX with that HMB. Now here's

(01:17:06):
another fun fact just to offshoot on HMB. There's a
big wing of research right now in neuro health looking
at HMB and recognizing that in these studies, you know,
looking at fat loss, muscle mass gain. Looking at those studies,

(01:17:30):
they started to see this significant improvement in cognition. So
it's a really fascinating way to understand why certain things
that exist, certain molecules in our body, what they're actually doing.
And HMB really seems to have this you know, multi

(01:17:50):
factorial purpose in the human body. So supplementing with our
active HX is a win win across the board. Now,
the flex HX, this is something that I really enjoy
talking about because when Jerry Hicky formulated this product many
years ago, I thought it was such a masterpiece because

(01:18:10):
I was like, Wow, he's putting the chondroid in with romeolin,
with the hydrolyzed college, and plus he's got some copper
and manganese in this so you're getting a lot of
structural support for the joint spaces. So the flexibility and
the movement, that mobility of the joint is really very important.
And so and as we all know, Jerry Hicky is

(01:18:30):
a master when it comes to to formulating different products,
and this one he definitely hit out of the park.
This is a home run. And I have had such
success with people who have used this product. And when
people reach out to me, whether it's they call me,
they email me, they say, hey, Amanda, you know I

(01:18:53):
was out playing pick a ball and you know I
did something to my shoulder, I did something to my knee.
I don't know what should I do. And of course
we'll turn to you know, the bio Curcumin five locks
and that you heard Jerry talking about earlier today. But
the flex HX this is my go to this product.
I'm telling you the the speed in which it works,

(01:19:16):
because it has that bromeline, because it has the chindroit.
And just look at some of our testimonials on this.
You know, one person says, you know, flex HX has
been a lifesaver for me after I had surgery on
my knee. You know, my knee wasn't feeling that great.
Started to take flex HX. I was recommended by a
friend of mine who was an invite customer. They said,

(01:19:39):
try the flex HX. Says, after two weeks of taking
this supplement, I have less pain and my knee is
feeling stronger. Someone else says, this is the best stuff ever.
I wish I would have known about this stuff. I'm
not kidding. This stuff is great. So we know the
power of this the way that this is my tip
for this product. If if you are in an acute

(01:20:01):
situation and maybe this weekend you're out, you're doing gardening,
or you do something and you just say, I don't know,
I feel like I have like pain in my knee,
pain in my back. You want to do the flex achecks.
Take two scoops a day, So one scoop morning, one
scoop afternoon. Do that for a good five days, and
then scale back to just one scoop a day. I'm

(01:20:21):
telling you taking that higher amount initially for the first
five to seven days will make an astronomical difference in
getting you out of the weeds when it comes to
your pain level. And that's what most people are complaining about,
is they are in pain. So this product, the flex
Achecks definitely one that I encourage you if you have

(01:20:45):
hip pain, knee pain, carpal tunnel, anything like that, this
should be a go to in your daily routine. So
flex CHX love this product. Now. I also want to
mention that the Macula Advanced this is also on special today.

(01:21:06):
The power of you know, lutine and xia xanthin in
this formulation to really help with brain connectivity. Reason why
I want to mention this because many times people think, oh,
I'll take the Macular Advance. It's great for my eyes.
Of course, it has the power blend. It has the
lutamax that we use. So the lutamax is a registered

(01:21:29):
trademark tested form of lutine and xia xanthin partnered up together. Now,
the reason why I like to bring this up is
because the lutamax that we use and the clinical studies
done on the lutamax that's in our formulation, this has
been shown to not only help your retinal cells in

(01:21:53):
the optic nerve itself, but really when we start to
look at cognitive impact and when folks are supplementing with
the lutamax that we have This is in the Macula
Advanced formulation. So write that one down Macula Advanced. It
contains this registered blend called Lutamax. They have been able

(01:22:18):
to show that individuals who are supplementing with this can
have an improvement in overall brain function cognitive performance when
it comes to your processing speeds. So what does that mean?
Say you, you know, are thinking of something and you're like,
oh wait, what was that? Uh? And you're trying to,
you know, think real hard. This is where they found

(01:22:40):
that the Lutamax made such a difference that people were like, Wow,
I feel like I'm firing on all cylinders. That's what
we want. So this is a great product that you
not only get the ability to fight off blue light
coming from your light emitting devices like your cell phone
and your computer screens. And now with the sunshine and
you're going to be out door more hopefully and you know,

(01:23:02):
taking in the warmer temperatures, you want to be able
to protect your eyes from the blu ray. And we
know that the light emitting devices your phones, your computers
actually emit even higher amounts than the sun does, so
we have to be able to have this layer of protection.
So that's where the power of that carotenoid blend comes

(01:23:24):
into play with that Macula Advanced formulation. Now, how many
should you take? Now? I would say this is my
tip for Macula Advanced. If you already know that you
have underlying eye health issues, maybe you've been told by
your doctor that you have you know, the early formings

(01:23:45):
of cataracts, or you have you know, early stage macular degeneration,
then you want to take two capsules twice a day.
If you are looking to use the Macula Advanced HX
formulation just for overall eye support, then I would take
two capsules per day. Because remember you're gonna be also

(01:24:07):
taking your Performance multivitamin, which gives you this mini eye
vitamin packed right into the performance. So if you take
the Performance multivitamin and you take the Macula Advanced, you're
getting this really high amount of those power carotenoids. Now,
let's take that to a whole other level by adding
in the oranges CHX because remember the orange pigmented fruits

(01:24:30):
and vegetables are loaded down with what with carotenoids. So
this today's show kind of really focuses in on the
support for energy, brain health, eyehealth, heart health everything in totality,
because when you're partnering these power nutrients together, when you

(01:24:52):
take the Performance multivitamin along with the Oranges CHX adding
in that Macula Advanced, you can see how across the
board you yield all of those multiple benefits. That's why
I say this is the joy of supplementation. We look
at side benefits as opposed to side effects. And if
you happen to have questions for me, certainly reach out
