nutritional Science Today right here, right now.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams, Director of Science at Invite Health, and happy
Saturday morning to everyone. I understand that you had some
hot weather up there this week, and it is now
trending back to a bit more manageable heat. I certainly

(00:59):
can can understand that. Being down here in South Florida
where it is continuously it feels like a sauna.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
It truly does.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Sometimes I walk outside and I say, goodness, gracious, but
our humidity levels have been up in the sixties and seventies,
and the other day it was eighty percent humidity. So
it's just oh, sticky and awful. But that's okay. I
will I will take that because come wintertime, that's when
I have my true appreciation for being here in South Florida.

(01:31):
But I have really wonderful news to share with everyone,
and that is that our Independence Day, buy one, get
one free sale is going on right now.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
So as we.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Speak, you can go to our website, Invite health dot com.
You will find that all of our products are on
a buy one, get one free, and we also still
have our overstock sale going on too. So I always
like to just give that little gentle reminder because maybe
you are, you know, stocking up on your krill oil
or your Biocurcumen five locks and or your probiotic HX,

(02:07):
but check out those overstock items as welks. We have
some really great savings on some wonderful formulations, including glued
to HX, which is excellent for overall you know, cellular detoxification.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
It helps to.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Encourage glue to thione production because it has dimethyl glycine
in that a wonderful formula to consider if you're looking for,
you know, just healthy fluid balance because it has parsally
extract in that, so just a great way to just
create a healthier free radical fighting capacity in your system,

(02:49):
so definitely check out the overstock items at the same
time that we have our Independence Day Buy when get
one freeselle going on. And also just as a little
side note on this, I know it's summertime, it's now
officially summer yay, but it is also a time for
you to to really think about which products you're using

(03:12):
from Invite Health and you know, if you need to
make any adjustments to your routine, to speak with one
of our nutritional advisors so that you can take advantage
of this sale because I don't know when the next
buy one, get one free sale is going on, so
you want to make sure that you have what you
need and get those while they.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Are on special. So so always.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Keep that in mind.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
We're you know, we're not even into July, and while
this sale is going on right now, I cannot tell
you when the next one will happen. Sometimes we get
accustomed to, you know, just thinking that there will be
another big sale coming up. But uh, right now, that
is the information that I have to share with you

(03:58):
is that I don't know, I am not sure when
the next buy would get one free sale is going
to be, so you know, definitely jump on the deals
right now now interesting information, I think.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
I believe last.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Week perhaps I talked about our ubiquinyl coenzyme q ten
with the NADH, and how interesting of a molecule NADH is.
Remember it's a vitamin B three derivative, and it's an
incredibly important molecule in the body for energy production, for

(04:38):
helping your coenzyme q ten kind of keep itself at
healthy levels within the cells mitochondria. And there's an abundance
of clinical research out there, and obviously coenzyme q ten,
especially the form that invite Health uses, because remember we
use kanica, and that is the the most well studied.

(05:02):
It's the only bioidentical form of coenzyme q ten. So
when you're supplementing with our coenzyme q ten, you can
rest assure that this is actually going to raise your
body's natural coq ten levels. So I always say I
can put anybody up to a challenge. Go have your
coq ten blood level tested, then start supplementing with the

(05:24):
invite Health you biquenol. Then go back and retest your
coq ten. You will see that your coq ten level
is going up. So and that's a wonderful thing, because
as we get older, coq ten levels can start to
diminish for a variety of different reasons. The pathway to
which coenzyme q ten is made in the body becomes

(05:44):
less efficient just with aging, but there's other factors that
can lead into the certainly different medications statin drugs, beta blockers,
there's a whole slew of medications that can actually impede
or impair the way that your body makes coq ten.
So you definitely want to be supplementing with coenzyme q
ten in that ubiquinyl form. I always say we all

(06:08):
need co q ten, but especially once you hit about
forty years old, you need to be taking coenzyme q
ten ubiquin AL and there is a difference between supplementing
with UBIQUINL and ubiquin known so ubiquinone ending an one
that is not in its reduced powerful antioxidant form. So

(06:30):
that's the form that you can find at you know,
like a Walgreens or a CVS or if you go
into another just vitamin store. But what we use is
the actual bioidentical form. And so this is why it's
so important to not only you know, just be aware
of this is something that does naturally start to decline.

(06:51):
But if you're going to supplement supplement with the right form,
and the form that we use is that form that
has been so well established and has been shown to
really actually enhance the way coke q ten is supposed
to be utilized in the system. But I digress, because
what I really want to talk about is NADH. And remember,

(07:12):
if you're using our ubiquinyl coenzyme q ten, we partner
that up with NADH. Now, just this past month, there
was a really interesting study that came out and it
was published in the Autism Insights Journal, and it caught
my eye for a couple of different reasons because not

(07:33):
only were they talking about the potential benefits of NADA
supplementation in individuals who have been diagnosed with autism, but
they were also talking about ribos And we actually offer
an incredibly powerful ribos formulation. It is called ribos complex.

(07:58):
So ribos is naturally a hering in the body once again,
and this is something that when we start to, you know,
look at what can we be doing for our heart,
we always look at coenzyme q ten, NADH, we look
at ribos, but we also have to then realize, well,

(08:18):
what is the true action of these nutrients in our system.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
And so this is why we.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Really can analyze a formulation like ribos. We can analyze
a formulation like our coenzyme Q ten with NADH and
we say, wow, you know, if we have a friend
or a family member who knows someone who is on
the spectrum who has autism, then this is something that
we should definitely be saying, yeah, this is a ideal

(08:48):
product or two different products that they should be actually
taking on a regular basis. So what was interesting in
this particular study that was just published was that they
said the ribos and the NADH both boost different levels
of ATP. So ATP is your denisen triphosphate. That's the
actual cell energy that is made within the mitochondria. That's

(09:12):
hence why you take your coenzyme q ten is to
encourage ATP production. And in this they found that supplementation
with NADH along with ribos actually led to a significant
increase in overall ATP production. They were looking at different
biomarkers that were associated with methylation. So methylation is key

(09:36):
for detoxification and for clearing different clutters, especially if we're
thinking about our brain, and so in this study they
did a two week trial, So this shows you how
quickly the NADH and that ribos were actually working and
they could see this significant shift and improvement in overall

(09:59):
methylation and an improvement in the free radical fighting capacity
and an increase in that cell energy production. So just
during the sales, something just to think about. There's been
so many other studies that have come out just in
the past month that you know, I every single day

(10:19):
I'm looking through different journals. Omega threes are definitely in
the news from you know, Omega three intake and the
prevention of heart disease, looking at omega three intake in
combination with for those who are on blood thinners for
you know, whatever reason you may happen to be on

(10:42):
a blood thinner. But what was really fascinating was looking
at the omega three study that just came out looking
at bipolar disorder and alcoholism and seeing the protective effects
that those Omega three fatty acids were actually giving the brain.
Because remember, the Omega threes make up part of that

(11:04):
cell structure of your neurons. So your neurons are your
brain cells, and as we get older, we already know
that we are prone to brain atrophies, so if the
brain starts to shrink, then that can certainly be problematic
for us. I always say, we don't want to be
in the skinny brain line. And so they know that

(11:24):
those omega threes help to maintain that cell structure, and
in doing that, this can lead to an enhanced improvement
in overall mood because now those neurotransmitters that are responsible
for our mood actually can be released at proper times
and in the correct amount. So this is kind of

(11:45):
the bits of information that you know, myself as well
as Jerry Hickey, we both look at on a regular
basis and we say, yeah, this is why we talk
about the importance of supplementing with the kryl Oil Advanced
or taking the invite health fish oil. With our krill
Oil Advanced. We don't just use just a standard krill oil,
of course we do not. We use the form of

(12:06):
krill oil that has been once again clinically studied and
shown to improve your fatty acid content. So you can
do kind of the same tests that you did with
coenzyme Q ten. You can go and have your fatty
acid levels tested and then you can start to supplement
with the Invite Health krill Oil Advanced or our fish

(12:28):
oil and then go back in retest and you're going
to see that increase in your total Omega three content.
So we use in our krill oil Advanced a really
unique sourced krill. Not only is it traceable, and this
is important for us, we want to know where exactly

(12:49):
it's coming from, how it's actually sourced, and how they
process that krill. All of these things matter because we
don't want to be using a subpar krill oil and
certainly there are many of those, unfortunately out there on
the market. So what we use is called Superba krill. Now,

(13:11):
the super Ba krill is one hundred percent traceable, it
is sustainable, meaning it is c friendly, It has certifications
saying this is friend of the sea. And for us
that matters because we want to make sure that we
can continue to.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Take krill throughout our lives.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
That we don't want the krill to be over sourced
to the point that we no longer have krill. And
so this is why we have partnered with Acre Biomarine
and we use the super Ba krill. And then the
clinical research studies conducted on this form of krill oil

(13:52):
that we use is so impressive because the amount of
phosphatitle coaling, the amount of astixanthin that are in our
krill is superior to any other krill oil that you
can get your hands on and take. Now at the
end of the day, why do omega three fatty acids

(14:13):
matter so much? Well, they are an essential fatty acid,
and through the action of those omega three fatty acids,
they help to regulate the body's inflammatory response. They help
to maintain that brain volume, which we know is so
incredibly critical.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
If we lose.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Brain volume, that is going to lead to a shift
in our cognitive function. So we want to make sure
that we can stay at that same level as when
we were twenty years old, when we get to sixty
years old, when we get to eighty years old, and

(14:52):
those omega three fatty acids play such a critical role
in doing that. So daily supplement with the kryloil advance
giving you the power of that phosphatital coaline, that key
phospholipid that allows the body to produce additional acetyl coaline,
which is key for our memory and for focus and

(15:15):
for attention. But it's also giving you asked as anthem
that very powerful carotenoid that can go in and help
to fight off free radicals and at the same time
it helps to support the vascular lining. And this is
key because you think about the tiny little capillaries found
within the brain and if those little tiny capillaries become

(15:37):
weakened over time, and that makes sense because they've been
there for a long time, that this can start to
lead to issues for us. And so if you start
to have breaking of capillaries, and that means we're not
getting proper oxygenation and blood flow to the brain. So
this is why supplementation with the Kryloil advanced is really

(15:58):
the most ideal way to maintain healthy omega three fatty
acid levels as we grow older. So we can maintain
that brain volume, we can support our circulatory system. It
helps with the rhythm of the heart, which is also
very key because that's another concern that people can have
as you get older. Many people probably know someone who

(16:20):
has a trail fibrillation. Well, we know that those omega
three fatty acids are so essential when it comes to
proper rhythm of the heart. We also can recognize that
those omega three fatty acids help to regulate our blood pressure.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
So just across the board.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
We need to have these essential fatty acids for maintaining
bone density, for our vascular system, for our neurological system,
so the central nervous system, and for our eyes. Many
times you don't think, oh, I'm taking the Kryloil Advanced
from Invite Health, and I'm taking it because I have
heart concerns.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
I want to make.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Sure my brain is healthy, and not actually realizing how
much that krill oil is benefiting the health of your
eyes and for vision and for folks who have dry
eye for example.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
This is a really important part.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Of your daily supplementation routine is to make sure that
you do have those Omega three fatty acids on board.
So definitely check out the krill Oil Advanced. If you're
not taking an Omega three fatty acid every single day,
you need to highly consider, you know, adding this in

(17:35):
and no better time than now when it's on a
buy one, get one free. So I do need to
squeeze in a quick break stick around with me.

Speaker 3 (17:43):

(19:45):
I want to talk about Shila Gee. We have our
Sila GI fifty Max. This is it's a newer product
in the product line. Shila GI in and of itself
is so unique and the research done on Shila G

(20:05):
to me is incredibly impressive for a multitude of different reasons,
But predominantly the thing that I zero in on is
how many different systems that Shila G can be beneficial for.
And Silagi is a natural substance, that is, we source

(20:27):
it from the Himalayan mountains and it is loaded with
trace minerals. So when you look at the weight of
Shila G, you have these powerful acids predominantly fulvic acid.
So this is why our product is called Shila G
fifty max because you're getting fifty percent of that fulvic acid,
but the other weight to our Shila Gi comes in

(20:51):
the form of trace minerals and you're getting you know,
things like magnesium and potassium and calcium. So it's beneficial
for cardiovascular health, for bone health, and it's been.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Studied in this way.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
So you get this really rich mineral blend that's natural,
so a natural mineral blend along with this powerful antioxidant,
this fulvic acid, and we can see how this can
help with energy and with stamina. And this is why
it was touted as being kind of.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
The go to for men to use who were.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Going through andrepause or maybe your energy levels are low
and you're just not feeling the same way that you
did when you were, you know, twenty years old. And
they found that when men started to supplement with Shila
Gi that they did have this kind of encouraged energy
production each and every single day where they were like,
you know what, I'm feeling a lot more youthful, and

(21:49):
this is a great thing. But what was interesting is
that they took a step beyond that, and they said,
let's just see if these men who are utilizing shila
g for energy and for mood and for stamina, if
this is actually doing anything.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
To their hormone balance.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
And interestingly enough, they found that the shila gee supplementation
actually led to an increase in sperm production but also
an increase in testosterol levels as well as DHA. So
for maintaining muscle mass, really beneficial when you're thinking about
libido or if you're dealing with issues perhaps like a

(22:30):
rectile dysfunction. And we know that this is a very
common thing and it shouldn't be taboo to talk about
it because many men I think kind of shy away.
They think, oh, I'm the only one.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
No, you're not.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
You are definitely not. Once you look at men at
forty years old, about a quarter of men at forty
years old are starting to experience issues with erectile dysfunction,
and then that can get worse with every decade, and
a lot of that is because of that hormonal imbalance

(23:02):
that starts to just show up. It's kind of like
women going through menopause. As men go through andropause, those
hormonal imbalances also become incredibly problematic, and so when you're
just looking at muscle strength and just maintaining muscle tone,
but also energy and libido and for overall sexual performance,

(23:24):
shila G fifty max is something that I would definitely
be looking at. We also know that it's incredibly supportive
when it comes to our immune system because it has
that wonderful trace mineral blend in it, plus the power
of that fulvic acid, and of course incredibly beneficial for

(23:46):
skin health. And they did a fascinating study on Shila
G and collagen synthesis, so we know that shila G
is working to activate one of the key genes that
is responsible for making natural collagen in our system. And

(24:09):
they found in this randomized controlled trial that was published
in the Journal of Dietary Supplementation that eight weeks of
Shila Ji's supplementation led to an improvement in collagen synthesis.
So as we head into the warmer summer months here
and you start to say, hmm, you know, what are

(24:30):
some things that I could be doing, And you know,
there was just a study that came out just this
past week I believe it was, and it was in
the Journal of Geriatrics and gerontology where they were looking
at vitamin C and we already know that vitamin C
is required for collagen cross linking, and they said, you know,

(24:54):
vitamin C can actually help with the skin thickness as
we get older, because as people are get older in age,
the skin itself certainly does start to thin out, and
this loss of collagen is part to that. And so
if we are supplementing with Shila G and we are

(25:14):
taking vitamin C, and heck we even add in the collagen,
whether you're using our collagen HX or the college x HA,
those hydrolyzed collagen peptides, this can lead to an overall
improvement in the thickness of the skin and the overall

(25:37):
health of the skin. So maybe you're looking in the
mirror and you're going, who in the world is that person?
Why do I have all these, you know, wrinkles. Look
at these combinations of products that you can be utilizing
from Invite Health that give you a multitude of different benefits.
So you can add in that Shila G fifty max.
And maybe you're a man out there and you're listening

(25:57):
to the show and you're like, well, yeah, you know
what I could and if it for you know, from
some more energy as well as for improving my libido.
But heck, I also don't want to have wrinkles. So
taking shila Gee fifty max, taking two capsules per day
can allow your body to have this ability to improve

(26:21):
upon as I mentioned, vascular blood flow, your mood, for libido,
creating that hormone balance and at the same time allowing
your body to make more collagen. So we partner all
of these different nutrients up and this is what can
lead to those systemic benefits. And that's why I always
love talking about a product like shila Gi fifty max

(26:43):
because there are so many clinical trials out there that
impress upon just how important it is to look at
things that come from nature. And Shila Gi that's natural
substance found in the Hemel mountains.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
And has been utilized in so.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
Many different areas for such a long time for many
different health conditions. So for mood, health issues, for the
immune system, we can see this. We can see this
in parts of India where they have been utilizing shila
G for hundreds of years for all of these different

(27:27):
medicinal benefits that go along with that. Shila G fifty max,
and so I look at this product and I say, yeah,
if I can take Shila G and it's beneficial for
my muscle health. If I can take this Shila G
fifty max and I know that it's helping to reduce
oxidative stress and inflammation in my body, which in turn

(27:51):
leads to a significant improvement in bone density for myself,
well yeah, I think that that makes a lot of
sense for me to be supplement with Shila Gee on
a regular basis. And then you look at the immune
system benefits that.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
Go along with Shila G.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
We know that it has anti viral and anti microbial
properties to it, So across the board, it doesn't matter
what your health concern is. Maybe you are, you know,
dealing with a low mood state or anxiety. Perhaps you
are a male who's dealing with a rectile dysfunction or

(28:30):
low libido, or you just have a concern with losing
muscle mass. This is a wonderful add on product to
what your current supplementation routine already is.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
Maybe you're already taking.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
Our Collagen HX, you're taking the performance multivitamin and the
way protein isolate. This is a great product to add
along side of those because you're going to yield all
of the benefits that go along with fulvic acid supplementation,
plus you get the true exposure to all of those

(29:06):
different trace minerals. So this is why when we start
to look at products in the invite healthline and you say,
you know, I want to take a powerful antioxidant. I
understand that there's a lot of environmental toxins out there.
I understand that I'm exposed to a lot of things.
What can I use? Shila G fifty max is an excellent,

(29:27):
excellent choice.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Now stick around.

Speaker 2 (29:30):

So in any event, I am super excited because my
stepson and my granddaughter are coming from San Francisco to

(32:45):
spend a week with us, and I am thrilled about that. However,
they're coming tomorrow, which works out for me because today
I'm going to Coast Guard School at US at New
York Maritime Academy. I'll be taking courses well they I'll
be leaving right after the program. In any event, it's
almost a first course, but it's rudimentary for me anyway,

(33:09):
the first course in any event. Let's get back to it,
so everything is on special today. Let's talk about bio
curcumin five locks and it's great for your brain. It
actually helps seed your brain with new memory cells. That's
why I take two bio curcumin five locks in every
night with my dinner. See, we're capable of replacing lost

(33:31):
memory cells at night when we go to sleep, and
also when we do kind of endurance aerobic exercise. We
start pumping out these nerve growth factors like brain derived
neurotrophic factor, and it helps create new memory cells in
the brain, something that was discovered about eleven or twelve
years ago.

Speaker 7 (33:47):
We didn't know about that before then.

Speaker 5 (33:49):
So now we know that you can create new memory cells,
which is good because we like having a memory. The
problem is as you grow older, and we're not certain
the age where it truly drops, but we know as
you get older in your fifties and sixties and seventies,
you're releasing a lot less of these growth factors and

(34:11):
you're not replacing as many lost brain cells. So biocurcumin
five LOX for your brain helps bring back the ability
to create new memory cells, so that in itself is
enough reason to take it. However, most people are taking
it for pain. It's definitely helping my clients with neck pain,
shoulder pain, back pain, but the most common use is

(34:34):
usually arthritic pain. So here's a great study which really
sets you up for understanding this product. Diklofinac is a
very powerful ends aid ens ADS are drugs like boutrid
A Leave celebrates their ends aids non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs.

(34:56):
Diclofenac is virtually the most powerful one. The problem is
it has a lot of side effects, Like most of
these drugs, can raise your blood pressure, can damage your heart,
can damage your kidneys, even trigger a stroke. So that's
why I'm not very fond of these drugs. Yet, if
you're in serious pain, you need something to alleviate that pain.

(35:17):
So they compared diclofenac to biocurcumen. It wasn't even biocurcumin
five loxin because biokurcumin five loxin works better than biocurcumin
on its own. So they compared diclofenac the regular dosage
to biocurcumen the regular dosage, and they found out they
were equal for arthritic knee pain. For arthritis in the knee,

(35:39):
they were equal at both two weeks and four weeks.
So this was great because it didn't have the dangers,
the side effects and the interactions that the drug would have.
And there's a number of studies comparing biocurcumen or five
loxin or both together to seriously powerful drugs for arthritic needs.
So the beauty of biokurricumin five locks is you're not

(36:01):
getting the risks to your heart or a stroke, or
to your kidneys or to your hearing arise. You're not
getting an increase in blood pressure, but you are getting
a great reduction of pain if you have arthritis pain,
or nerve pain, or back pain or shoulder pain, anything
with that muscle pain. And it really works, and you're

(36:22):
getting the added advantage that it seeds the brain with
new memory cells, because there's five year the clinical trials
showing us that you create new memory cells. When you
take biocurriculum, now take it with food, it's very well absorbed.

Speaker 7 (36:36):
Turmeric.

Speaker 5 (36:37):
See, turmic itself is very poorly absorbed, so it doesn't
really help you. But if you take it this one,
it's very well absorbed because they micronize the size of
the turmeric, and it's very rich in circumen and all
the other ingredients you would expect to be in that product.
Yet it's very clean. It's grown organically. Okay, so let's
move on because we're having a sale, so I can
literally talk about any supplement we have. So since we

(37:01):
spoke about biocarcumen, I should also talk about collagen. They're
somewhat related because they're both good for the knee and arthritis.
Collagen is other than water. Collagen is the most common
ingredient that makes up the human body. At least thirty
or thirty five percent of you is made out of collagen.
So water and collagen basically makes humans. Then everything else

(37:25):
is added in in small amounts like calcium, like magnesium.
Now like certain fats like fishials, they help make you too. Now,
collagen is used to make the brain.

Speaker 7 (37:39):
That's true.

Speaker 5 (37:39):
The memory part of your brain is made out of collagen.
Collagen is used to make your skin. About seventy percent
of your skin is collagen, and then highaluronic acid is
embedded in the collagen to make your skin. Your skin
is basically water, collagen.

Speaker 7 (37:55):
And high aaluronic acid.

Speaker 5 (37:57):
Your hair is basically collagen. Your spine and the joints
that hold your spine in place, and the discs that
cushion your spine are mostly collagen. Your bones are thirty
six percent collagen. Your joint cartilage is sixty seven percent collagen.
So here's the issue. Collagen production starts to decline in

(38:21):
your late twenties after you fully physically and mentally developed anatomically,
after you're fully grown, including your brain, because your brain
continues to grow within your twenties. During your twenties, so
once you're finished at about twenty seven, collagen production starts
to decline at a pretty solid rate, so there is
less and less every decade. So by the time you're fifty,

(38:44):
your skin looks wrinkled, maybe it looks creepy, maybe it's sagging.
Your hair looks thinner, Your nails aren't growing as well.
They're chip easily, they break easily. You might have spinal pain,
shoulder pain, knee pain, your bones might be hollowing out,
especially if you're diabetic. Collagen helps address all of these issues.

(39:09):
So collagen in your joint makes the cartilage, and it's
things like glucosamine and chondroit and high auronic acid dat
attached to that to make the joint cartilage. And here's
the interesting thing. Human trials using our collagen proves that
taking collagen further stimulates the production of additional collagen. It's

(39:33):
kind of like you woke up your body. Your body
is making less collagen in your fifties and sixties by far,
and it's really affecting you the way you look, but
also the way you feel and the way your body functions.
So anatomically physiologically it's affecting you. Now you take collagen,

(39:53):
you're taking a scoop, yet that triggers to buy to
make even more collagen. It really means something because they've
shown when they give all the pe collagen their memory
improves because the part of the brain that's responsible for
your memory is made out of collagen. They've shown that
your skin looks magnificently better. Wrinkles decline dramatically because your

(40:15):
skin is made out of collagen, Your hair tends to
fill in, your nails grow better, your joints improve in
health because now there's a place for all of these
different ingredients, the glucosamines and the condrouidens to actually adhere
to to rebuild your knee cartilage. But it also makes

(40:36):
you bone, and this is really important. You can't just
take a drug like alndrinate fosamax. You can't just take
calcium and vitamin D and vitamin K to make bone.
You need collagen because thirty six percent of your bone
is collagen. That's what the calcium and the magnesium and
the phosphorus attached to to make bone. So the minerals

(40:58):
have nothing to cling on too unless you have collagen.
So our collagen has been used in menum in clinical trials,
looking at bone health, looking at joint pain, looking at
skin health, your nails and your hair, and it's very effective.
It really works. It's the real collagen. It's not the
Chinese collagen. Some of the Chinese collagens have true problems,

(41:22):
they have real problems. This is made by a French
Italian company. It's called peptan B five thousand and it's
been used in human clinical trials. That proves it works,
That proves it's safe. We know how much to give you,
and it's really clean and fresh. So I'm going to
go to my first break a little bit early. We're

(41:42):

Okay, Welcome back, Welcome back, Welcome back.

Speaker 7 (43:42):
You heard the ED. We're having a sale for fourth
of July.

Speaker 5 (43:46):
Now I want to talk about res Viritual. I take
res Viritual every morning with my breakfast. I take two
hundred millionrams. And there's a reason for that. Years ago,
they did a study in your and they took people
in their seventies and eighties and they gave them either placebo,

(44:07):
a fake pill, or resveratrol two hundred milligrams a day
for six months, and they had some really amazing results.
First of all, they saw their blood sugar control improved,
which is important because blood sugar control declines with age.
Certain things to climb with age like sometimes lung function,

(44:29):
kidney health, blood pressure control, heart health, vision, hearing, you know,
you know how it is. So when they gave these
people the rest virtual, they saw that their blood sugar
control was improving. But that is not what they were studying.
They were studying the brain. And the reason for that
is quite simple. Resveratrol is the number one vasoactive supplement.

(44:55):
Vasoactive means it supports great circulation.

Speaker 7 (44:58):
It improved circulation.

Speaker 5 (45:00):
And blood flow in circulation declines with age for a
number of reasons. One reason is the blood vessels tend
to stiffen with age. A second reason is we tend
to have less nitric oxide production, which is a gas
that pumps open the blood vessels for greater circulation. So
there's a number of reasons why. And to the brain,
maybe the valves in the neck that pushed the blood

(45:21):
up aren't working as well, So there's a number of
things going on. So here's what they saw in that
German study. Circulation to the brain greatly improved back towards
that you'd see in a youthful person. So here's people
in their seventies and eighties, and at the start of
the study, circulation was not what it should have been

(45:45):
to their brain because of their age, because of.

Speaker 7 (45:47):
A number of factors.

Speaker 5 (45:50):
But when they gave them rest vertraul the circulation was
restored to their brain. That's really important because as circulation
to the brain declines, and according to Harvard Medical School,
circulation to the brain and healthy people declines anywhere from
ten to fourteen percent. It's worse in diabetics, it's worse
than smokers. It's worse than people who live near a

(46:13):
lot of air pollution that are inhaling air pollution all
the time. Because they tend to have more circulatory problems.
So in any event, the circulation when it declines to
the brain is bad because brain cells it dying and
you're not getting enough energy in the brain for the
memory to function. So it's a bad thing. It activates

(46:34):
inflammation in the brain and destruction of brain tissue on
a microscopic level, chronically every day, every night, all the time,
and this ends up and eventually it increases the rate,
it accelerates the rate of memory loss and even increases
your risk of dementia like Alzheimer's type dementia. So the

(46:55):
researchers in Germany saw that circulation to the brain came
back to that of a youthful person. And when it did,
they saw something really important because they were using these
powerful imaging like functional MRIs at the brain for powerful
imaging tools, and they saw that the parts of the
brain involved with memory were becoming more youthful and healthier.

(47:17):
Their volume increased back to what it was in a
younger person, and memory improved. So that's why I take
two hundred milligrams of rest farritrol every morning with my breakfast,
and in fact, that study was the reason why I
came out with that potency in the first place. So
here's a more current study. This was in the Journal

(47:39):
of Clinical Nutrition. It's a two year long study by
a number of academic research centers down in Australia. It's
one hundred and twenty five older women on rest viritual
and one hundred and twenty five women not on rest
viritual and they said that circulation to the brain improved

(48:05):
by seventeen percent. That's totally offsetting the decline in circulation
to the brain that's connected with aging. And here's what happened.
Cognitive performance. According to the researchers from the University of Newcastle,
the University of Queensland and the University of Southern Australia,

(48:27):
cognitive performance improved by thirty three percent. And in women
over the age of sixty five who took res veratrol,
their verbal memory, remembering words, remembering names came back and
they saw that res viatrol was improving blood flow to
their brain. Their brain worked faster, like to capture and

(48:50):
forward to come out with an answer, etc. But it
also once again controlled the restored control of their blood sugar,
just the opposite of thebetes. Now Georgetown University Medical Center
said that rest virtual helps repair your blood brain barrier.
That's really good when you're young. You have this barrier

(49:11):
that keeps nasty things out of the brain, because nasty
things getting into the brain kills brain cells and messes
up with the brain, messes the brain up, and you
can wind up with anxiety, depression, insomnia, even Alzheimer's, because
that is part of Alzheimer's a leaky blood brain barrier.
So when the researchers from Georgetown gave older people rest virtual,

(49:35):
they were resealing the blood brain barrier and memory functions improved,
circulations of the brain improved, swallowing at the brain, and
inflammation in the brain declined, and it was keeping toxins
out of their brain. I mean, basically, the researchers from
all over the world, from Italy, from Great Britain, from Ireland,
from Spain, from France, for the United States, from all

(49:59):
over the world basically came out and said rest ferritrol
helps block the effects of aging on the brain. It
helps mitigate those effects. It even helps if you've already
had some problems because of aging with your brain, it
helps reverse the effects of aging on your brain. So

(50:22):
although I take two buyer curcumen with dinner at night
to seed my brain with new memory cells. I take
one rest virtual two hundred milligram in the morning to
restore circulation to my seventy one year old brain. I'll
be seventy two soon, to restore circulations my older brain
and to reseal my blood brain barrier to keep nasty

(50:43):
things out of my brain. Now, our rest vitul is
protected from light and oxygen. If you're taking a powdered
rest viritual, you know, licking a teaspoon or a liquid
rest viritul, you might as well throw it away because
both light and oxygen breakdown respritual. It's not going to work.

(51:04):
So we have it in these capsules made in the
United States. These are American capsules, not Chinese capsules. We
only use American capsules. We have these capsules made in
the United States that are made out of vegetables that
have a real tight weave that keeps oxygen away from
the rest viritul. And beyond that, we take the green

(51:26):
stuff from vegetables, the chlorophyll, and we put it in
the capsule to keep light away from the rest virtual.

Speaker 7 (51:34):
But we do even better than that.

Speaker 5 (51:36):
Researchers have found that in the plants that restvitrol grows
and is commonly some type of grape seed extract, you know,
something related to that. We call them OPC's oligomeric proento cyanidins.
There's normally some grape seed extract and corstin in there.
And the scientists found that respirtul works better in humans

(51:56):
when it's in the company of the grape sheet extract
and corsitan. So that's in the capsule tutor so that
we can really amplify the benefits of rest fvitul for
your brain and your blood sugar control. I'm having a
great time. I could talk about anything. I already spoke
about collagen to rebuild you very important in your fifty

(52:17):
sixty seventies to take some collagen because you need it
for your bones, you joins, your skin here, and nails
and many other things, believe it or not, your spine,
your muscles. We spoke about biocurcumin fible oxygen for arthritic pain.
It's also good for back pain and neck pain and
basically nerve pain. You name it. It's good for pain, except

(52:38):
it's safe. But It's also good for seating the brain
with new memory cells. We spoke about rest viritrol. Rest
Viritrol helps restore circulation to an aging brain. Helps to
bring you sugar for energy. See that's part of blood
sugar balance, blood sugar control. An aging brain has trouble
using sugar for energy. What's the one source of energy

(53:01):
for the brain?

Speaker 7 (53:02):
Sugar?

Speaker 5 (53:03):
That's what the brain works on. Now, it needs protein
to build That's what collegen is important. It needs fish
shows to be made and.

Speaker 7 (53:10):
To work properly.

Speaker 5 (53:12):
But what gives the brain energy generally is sugar. But
an aging brain falters in its ability to use sugar
for energy. That's quote metabolism, and respiratual helps restore the
metabolism in the brain. So it's doing an awful lot
of really good things for people's brains when they're over
the age of fifty. Okay, let's go to a break.
We're a little bit early, but I want to go

(53:34):
to a break. We're having our Fourth of July sale.

Okay, Welcome back Cherry Hickey, Invite Health Radio.

Speaker 7 (54:42):
Once again. We're having our fourth of July show.

Speaker 5 (54:44):
So that's always a cool thing.

Speaker 7 (54:47):
I spend a lot of time reading.

Speaker 5 (54:49):
I spend an awful lot of time reading studies and
reading scientific papers. And also i joined a close card
auxiliary and I'm learning a lot. I'm taking a lot
of courses, Like today, after this program, I'm going to
the Maritime College and the Bronx and I'm taking navigation courses.
So that's kind of cool. So I'm using my eyes

(55:10):
all the time, and they tend to get tired, and
I take Macula Advanced and it gets rid of my
tired eyes, and that's really an important thing when you're young.
Certain things for the eyes are really easy to absorb
from your food, like zinc, like loutine lutens, a pigment.

(55:34):
You know before I said the body is made out
of mostly water and collagen, protein and minerals, but there's
also a lot of pigments in the body. Pigments that
you need for hearing, for your sense of smell, your
sense of taste, pigments to protect the brain, but also
pigments for your vision. And the pigments for vision are lutine, zeuzantine,

(56:00):
and mesosias into and those pigments along with beta charitine
natural beta charrotine, not the synthetic junk, are needed for
your brain, like beta carrotines needed for your sense of
smell and for your memory. But the lutine is needed
for your memory and your vision, so this is important.
It gets harder to absorb nutrients for your vision as

(56:23):
you grow older from your food. So how did the
nutrients get into the eyes? They have to go through
the brain. The problem is the brain also uses these nutrients.
So if you're older and you're not absorbing much of
these nutrients from even very wholesome foods, the brain is
grabbing it all. There's not enough leftover for your eyeballs.

(56:47):
So the eyeballs need extra supplementation. They need help. They
need to get a better supply of nutrients because, like
I said, you eat good foods like let's say, spinach
or broccoli or fish or whatever it is, and the
nutrients needed for the eyes don't get there because they
get trapped in the brain because the brain uses them too.
Now it's not bad that they're in the brain. Your

(57:08):
brain needs them to be made to function properly for
a good moon, for your memory.

Speaker 7 (57:13):
Et cetera.

Speaker 5 (57:14):
But you need something to get to the eyes, and
that's where the macula advanced comes in. You're getting extra
looting loutin used in human clinical trials. We know what
works in your eyeballs. In your brain, you're getting extra
zin is inted, you're getting extra zinc, you're getting extra
natural bata carroteen. All of these things are important for

(57:38):
your vision. So this is atmic for your eyeballs. Really,
it's like for the health and energy of your rieballs,
but also to protect your eyeballs. So my eyes get tired,
because I mean, I've seen this.

Speaker 7 (57:49):
You know. My wife and I love to drive throughout
the country.

Speaker 5 (57:54):
Last year we took a ten thousand mile trip. We
drove from New York to South Dakota and Wyoming and
Idaho and Utah, and then we went over to California,
and then we went down through Texas and Arizona and
New Mexico over to Florida, and then we came up.

Speaker 7 (58:12):
The East coast.

Speaker 5 (58:13):
So we did the whole circuit, the whole United States,
and it was amazing. And one thing I learned Americans
are just wonderful people. No matter where we went, they
were so friendly, they were so kind, they really were.
I mean, it was pretty amazing. It's a wonderful country.
And I have to tell you it's beautiful South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho. Oh, gorgeous, gorgeous.

(58:37):
In any event, I don't leave the motel or hotel
or wherever we're staying until I take looting, until I
take the Macula Advanced, because my eyes will get tired driving.

Speaker 7 (58:52):
And I found out, I find that I.

Speaker 5 (58:53):
Could protect my eyes from glare even if it's even
if there's oncoming headlights, Like all of a sudden, there's
a thunderstorm and everybody puts their headlights on. It prevents
my eyes from from like being shocked by the headlights
and going temporarily blind. It helps me see things in
the road, but it prevents my eyes from getting tired.
And I've seen this, like you know, we used to

(59:14):
have a house in Florida by Saint Augustine, and we
used to drive up and down the coast, and my
eyes were if I didn't have the macula, my eyes
would get tired while I was driving. Like one day
I ran out messed up and it was in my
it was buried in like all these boxes in the trunk,
and I wasn't unpacking the whole thing, and I saw

(59:34):
like after a couple hours, my.

Speaker 7 (59:35):
Eyes were getting tired.

Speaker 5 (59:37):
But with the macula, I was able to drive four
or five hours at a time not get tired.

Speaker 7 (59:42):
It was amazing.

Speaker 5 (59:44):
But to be honest with you, I don't drive five
hours at a time. I drive it back to or
three hours, get out and stretch and walk around. Didn't
drive another two or three hours. So I break it
up every two in here first. But let's get back
to it. That macula makes it difference. So I'm on
the computer all the time. I'm reading studies all the time.
I'm reading stuff for the coast go to auxiliary all
the time. Like right now, I'm taking a boat crew

(01:00:05):
course and the manual for the boat crew course is
seven hundred and sixty pages. So it's a lot of reading.
Don't let that dissuade you. You don't have to know
the whole thing. I just like to overdo it. You
only need a part of that. But like I like
to be, you know, I like to get indept into

(01:00:26):
everything and know what I'm doing. So in any event,
but hey, if you want good friends, join the Coast
Code Auxiliary. It's exciting, it's fun. There's a lot of camaraderie.
It's great people. You get to wear a uniform, you
get to salt the flag. It's pretty cool and you
get to help people. So let's get back to it.
So the Macula Advanced helps my eyes from getting helps

(01:00:49):
prevent my eyes from getting tired with all the reading
I'm doing. Yet I know it's also protecting my eyes
because as the penetration of these nutrients to the eyes
to clinch with age, things like blue light and sunlight, etc.
It's easier for them to hurt your eye cells, like
your retinal cells. So I know I'm protecting my eyes
as well as nourishing my eyes. So that's a great supplement,

(01:01:13):
Macula Advanced.

Speaker 7 (01:01:15):
My wife takes it.

Speaker 5 (01:01:17):
And by the way, the same ingredients that are in
there for your eye are needed for your brain, but
they're also needed by your immune system. So you get
a lot of benefits out of taking Immacula Advanced. You
really are And I take two every day generally what
my lunch, because I take a multi with breakfast. While

(01:01:38):
we're talking about multie invite has superior multis Now, if
you look at the studies on multi vitamins, there are
a lot of data that multi vitamins have a huge
impact on aging people there's the Physician Health Study, the

(01:02:02):
physician health study too, the healthcare professional Study, the nurses
health study. There's all kinds of studies that when you
give an older person a multivitamin, whether it's a nurse,
a medical doctor, or pharmacist, a tennis player, it doesn't
matter who it is, their brain works better because you

(01:02:25):
need these things to create energy, and as you get older,
a lot of these things are missing in the diet
for some reason. Phosphatides, fish oils, zinc which is not
well absorbed, lutin, and dioxantheth like we mentioned before, b
vitamins are notoriously low in older people.

Speaker 7 (01:02:45):
You need these things for the brain.

Speaker 5 (01:02:47):
So there's study have to study, have to study, big,
huge studies, long term studies, millions of people. When you
put these studies together that simply taking a multivitamin is
great for your brain when you're older, Okay, but it
doesn't stop there. There's a number of studies now, good
quality human clinical trials, placible controlled, randomized human clinical trials,

(01:03:10):
double blinded trials that are published in peer reviewed medical journals.
So these are gold standard studies that multi vitamins and
older people help protect you from developing cancer, like the
Physicians Health Study, it was men. It was men in
the study has showed that it cut their risk of
developing cancer. There's many studies that show and millions of

(01:03:32):
people that taking a multi vitamin continuously. I don't mean
for one week. I don't mean for one month, I
don't mean for one year. When you stay on a multivitamin,
it helps prevent you from having a serious heart attack.
They've seen this in studies in older women studies and
older men, the Physician's Health Study, the Nurses Health Study.

(01:03:53):
Simply taking a multivitamin year after year when you're older
health prevent a heart attack, a big decline and heart
attack and a house prevent clogging of the arteries. You
have a a decreased risk of developing coronary artery disease.
It decreases your risk of eye disease, and it decreases
your risk of memory loss. So here's a really good

(01:04:18):
study called the Cosmos Study. Now the Cosmo Study, Uh,
there was the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Brigham and
Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and they're looking at taking
a multi fidamin. It's called the Cosmos Study, but it
was a very high quality multi vitament. So it's a
double blind, randomized human clinical trial. It was twenty one thousand,

(01:04:40):
four hundred and forty four men and women sixty five
years of age or older. The women were sixty five
or older, the men were six year older. These are
people throughout the United States. Listen to this. Taking a
multivitamin decrease the risk of lung cancer by thirty eight percent. Now,

(01:05:03):
what cos is lung cancer? Breathing in the smoke from fires,
if you're like in a fire prone state like California,
living there in expressway like I four ninety five, air pollution, cigarettes,
we don't even know all the things that caluose lung cancer.
And what we're seeing now over the past ten years
or so as an increasing trend of people who never

(01:05:25):
smoked developing lung cancer. Nobody's quite sure why.

Speaker 7 (01:05:29):
They have their.

Speaker 5 (01:05:30):
Hypotheses, they have their theories, nothing's totally proven. But and
people who never smoked, we're seeing the increase of lung cancer.
So simply taking a good quality multivitamin reduced your risk
of lung cancer by thirty eight percent. Because the Fred
Hunchinson Cancer Research Center was part of his study. Now yeah,
cognitive decline. This is also Wake Forest University. Wake Forest

(01:05:55):
University joined Briggaman and Women's Hospital Harvard Medical School to
do portion of it. Taking a multi vitamin over a
three year period in older people. These are women over
sixty five, men over sixty taking a multivitamin over a
three year period actually improved memory, just the opposite of

(01:06:18):
what normally happens. Normally you have a decline in memory
with age, but with the multivitamin, high quality multivitamin. Now,
this is almost twenty two thousand Americans, older Americans throughout
the United States, all kinds of people, all kinds of
people taking a multivitamin over a three year period improved
memory compared to not taking a multivinment, compared to taking

(01:06:42):
the placebo, a fake multi vitamin. So in this study
it reduced a common cancer risk. In this study, it
actually improved memory. Instead of people losing memory, they actually
improved their memory. But it also reduced their heart attack risk.
It reduced the risk of dying from anything related to

(01:07:04):
the heart by about thirty percent. So anything related to
the heart could be a problem with heart failure and
arrhythmia and abdominouotic aneurysm, breaking, a heart attack, a stroke.
So according to this really incredible study that really I

(01:07:25):
don't know why the media. You know, the media has
a lot of fake news, and part of their fake
news is not covering real news. So on one hand,
you get fake news from the media. On the other hand,
they don't cover the real news because it's not in
their favor. So I didn't see this study covered in
the news. I know it because I read scientific journals.

(01:07:48):
So simply taking a multivitamin, a high quality multivitamin like
the Invite multi vitamin for three years reduced the risk
of a heart attack a stroke reduced your risk a
die from any cause by approximately thirty percent, including sudden
cardiac death. So I would strongly recommend everybody listening that

(01:08:15):
you really should be on a quality multi vitamin. I'm
not saying that Invite is the only quality multivitamin, but
I've never seen a better multi vitamin than the Invite multivitamin.
In fact, I don't know if you noticed named doctor
Andrew wil. Doctor Andrew Willer is a very famous medical doctor,

(01:08:36):
and he worked with a whole bunch of medical doctors
researchers from the University of Maryland, the University of Arizona,
a guy named Sam Benjamin who's a friend of mine,
and they came up with this multi vitamin. So Andrew
Wilder is the guy who originally created this multi vitamin.
And then at the end they handed it to me

(01:08:57):
and said what would you change? And I told him
what thee And all of these famous doctors turned around
and said, oh, you're right, and they made changes. So
the buck stops here with Jerry Hickey. Believe me, I
know my nutrition. So this multivitamin comes a little sullofhane pack.
It's a couple of pills in there and a liquid

(01:09:18):
filled capsule, and it has all of these things that
are so powerful for the heart and the brain and
your immune system and reducing your risk of eye disease
and reducing your risk of cancer, reducing your risk of
a heart attack, reducing your risk of a stroke, helping
build strong bones. It's just a really, really high quality multivitamin.

(01:09:39):
And the original reason why I got involved with Invite
Health was because of these multi vitamins. I said, listen,
if you guys can make these multi vitamins, there's no
end to what you.

Speaker 7 (01:09:49):
Can achieve, right.

Speaker 5 (01:09:51):
So I took my pharmacies Hickey Chemists, and I married
him to Invite Health and there was no turning back.
We had a great ride. I'm semi retired. I only
do radio and read studies now, but Invite is still
there with all those nutritionists. In fact, after the show,
if you like, you could call up and say, Hey,
I have a question. I want to buy some stuff.

(01:10:13):
I hear you have really clean, high quality fresh stuff
that works, that's safe, that's been used in studies. But
I want to speak to a nutritionist. So if you
call seven days a week, you can ask to speak
to one of the Invite nutritionists. There's no charge for that.
That's the correct way to sell a supplement. Have somebody
with real knowledge who went to school. They didn't just

(01:10:35):
take a little course on the internet. They really went
to school and study nutrition. These are the kind of
people you find a Invite So you could call, or
you could go into the store, or you could go
on a website even and interact with a nutritionist seven days.

Speaker 7 (01:10:47):
A week now.

Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
So their multi vitamin comes in this little cellophane package,
which is very convenient because if you're going away for
three days, you just take three or fourth throwing your
volise and you covered with almost everything right, But it's
also the ingredients in there. See, a lot of people
don't use folic acid properly. Folic acid is made by
these factories in China, and they don't use that B

(01:11:13):
vitamin properly, which is a problem because if you don't
use that B vitamin properly, you have an increased risk
get cancer because it protects you genes folic acid, and
you have an increased risk of Alzheimer's because a chemical
called homocystine builds.

Speaker 7 (01:11:27):
Up in your brain.

Speaker 5 (01:11:29):
So a lot of older people can't use folic acid
that's traditionally used in multivitamins. So we go to the
real thing, methyl tetrahydrofolic MTHFR reductation. I'm sorry, MTHF. I
didn't even need to put the enzigm in there. MTHF
methyl tetrahydrofolic is hydrofolic is the active form, and it

(01:11:52):
helps protect you from Alzheimer's by reducing homocystine in your
brain and helps protect you from cancer by inhibiting the
first two steps of the cancer process, which is initiation
and promotion. Before you get to cancer, and there's a
form of B twelve that covers all the things that
BE twelve does, because there's different forms of B twelve

(01:12:13):
in a body, but it's the form of BE twelve
important for the brain. If you lack B twelve in
your brain, you might as well have Alzheimer's because it's
pretty much the same thing. Your brain will shrink, it
won't work. So in the Invite multis, they're not using
siano cobalomin, which is B twelve attached to cyanide. They're
using methyl cobalomin, which is the way that B twelve

(01:12:34):
exists in your brain. So there's a lot of benefits
for the Invite multi, putting them way ahead of all
the other multis I've ever seen. Now, don't get me wrong,
there's other good multis, but this one I've never seen
one as good as this one. Okay, I'm going to
a break and we have a whole variety. We've got
Invite performance for athletes or people who need extra energy.
We've got the Invite for men where you get things

(01:12:55):
for the prostate. We've got Invite and for performance. You
get Invite for women where you get things for breast
health and for skin health, et cetera. There's the Invite
Core multi. I mean it's good stuff. Okay, let's go
to a break Sery Hicky. Invite Health we having a

Oh okay, welcome back Jerry Hickey for Invite Health. It's
less segment of the program. And then I have to
run out to the State University of New York Maritime
cause it takes some navigation courses, which.

Speaker 7 (01:14:23):
Is kind of cool.

Speaker 5 (01:14:26):
I'm in the Coastguard Auxiliary, which is a lot of fun,
believe me. Now, I want to talk about creatine monohydrate.
Creatine monohydrate used to be used. It still is used
in gyms to give people more strength when they exercise,
more stamina, and it works. But that's not why I'm

(01:14:48):
telling people to use it. I'm telling people to use
it for their brain. There's a huge amount of research
on this point on creatine monohydrate. First of all, it's
safe for the kidneys, it's safe in diabetics. It's safe
stuff when used correctly, A scoop a day. Now, I

(01:15:13):
do use creatine for exercise because I lift weights and
I go kayaking and stuff like that, and I'm an
older guy, so I kind of need a little bit
of help with my strength. I do pushups, but uh.

Speaker 7 (01:15:26):
I'm really taking it from my brain.

Speaker 5 (01:15:28):
I really am, because they found out with all of
these recent studies over the past several years that creatine
in your brain helps with awareness, like you know where
you are, you know what you're doing. Your brain is
just sharper. It helps with memory, it literally supports memory,

(01:15:48):
and it helps with mental energy. It helps so and
that's why I use it mental energy. I'm going to
be seventy two. I'm a very active Subtugenearian person in
my seventies.

Speaker 7 (01:16:00):
Very active person.

Speaker 5 (01:16:01):
I'm active all day from when I wake up until
when I go to sleep, exercise, gardening, coach guard, auxiliary,
meeting friends, you name it, walking the dogs, hanging and
dancing with my wife, which is the best thing on
a planet. Oh man, I love that woman, and just
you know, just active. Reading studies and like my wife says,

(01:16:24):
you really need to take a time out, and I go, well,
that's not me, I said. My timeout is when we're
in the kitchen cooking together or walking the dogs.

Speaker 7 (01:16:32):
That's my time out.

Speaker 5 (01:16:34):
So the creatine gives my brain energy. So let me
tell you why that would be true. Your body creates
something called ATP. I mean, if you took biochemistry. The
first year of biochemistry biochemistry, one on one, probably half
that year is learning how you make energy out of food.

(01:16:56):
And the currency for energy is called ATP. When you're
doing something like moving your arm or looking at something
or talking or thinking, or what's giving you that energy
is ATP. You're burning through your ATP. So if you
can recycle ATP faster, you have more energy. And that's

(01:17:17):
exactly what the creatine monohydrate does. It creates something called
phospho creatine, So ATP is the source of energy. ATP.
The P is for like a phosphorus, okay, phosphorus. The
creatine gives you back that phosphorus. It creates phospho creatine

(01:17:38):
and recycles the ATP, so your muscles and your heart
and your brain have energy, youthful, strong, usable energy. In fact,
creatine is so good for the brain. They've initiated studies
to see how creatine can help Alzheimer's patients, which it does.

(01:18:00):
They're showing that it gives Alzheimer's patients brain energy and
their brain works better, but maybe even protecting you from Alzheimer's.
So the creatine gets into your brain, and that's really
cool because the brain doesn't accept a lot of things.
But the creatine gets into your brain. It creates phosphol

(01:18:20):
creating in the brain and gives your brain energy. See
a lot of older people, the body's fine, that body's
not tired. It's their brain that's tired. Now, I refuse
for that to happen to me. So every day I
take three things. I take a scoop of collagen, I

(01:18:43):
take a scoop of creatine, and a scoop of active
HX for my muscle strength. And I have that as
a cocktail every day, like in between meals. I do
it generally, I could take a whip meals, but I
just tend to do it in between meals, not for
any particular reason.

Speaker 7 (01:18:59):
So that.

Speaker 5 (01:19:01):
Yes, it will nourish your muscles. When you do exercise,
you will see an improvement in your strength and endurance.
And by the way, if you're on a statin and
getting muscle pain from the statin, some people get muscle
pain from the stand At least ten percent or around
ten percent of people could get muscle achs from statins if.

Speaker 7 (01:19:18):
They go on a high dose.

Speaker 5 (01:19:21):
The creatine has been very successful in helping my clients
want muscle pain from statins. Don't ask me, hell, but
it is. It's working.

Speaker 7 (01:19:32):
But in the brain.

Speaker 5 (01:19:33):
It'll give your brain energy and you'll see that you're
going to get off the couch and start enjoying your
life again. It'll really make a difference. So we have
everything on special. Oh, let me just say this too.
Back to creatine, brain function, muscle and power and strength.

(01:19:55):
But also they're finding it that creatine somehow is recharging
bone and building and I'm not quite sure. That's early research,
but there's a number of doctors now that believe that
creatine helps you build bone. I'm not quite sure how
or why, but I'm certainly not against it. And if
it's an a benefit from creatine, that'll be fantastic, besides

(01:20:21):
nourishing your muscles, besides.

Speaker 7 (01:20:23):
Giving your brain energy.

Speaker 5 (01:20:24):
If it can achieve that, that's fantastic. Now some other
supplements of note, if you need help with your blood pressure,
you can add this safely to your drugs, either cardio
HX or grape sheet extract. Grape sheet extract will improve
circulation in your body. And this will take pressure off

(01:20:45):
the heart and your blood pressure will start going back
towards normal because it makes you blood vessels work like
much younger, healthier blood vessels. So let's explain that because
our grape seed is from Indiana, it's a French Italian company.
So when you're young, you have a gas called nitric
oxide that pushes open your blood vessels, so when your
heart beats, it's easier for the blood to get through

(01:21:06):
and your blood pressure stays normal. But as you get older,
the blood vessels tend to stiffen and you release less
nitric oxide. So the heart has to pump harder to
get the blood to where it needs to go, like
to your feet, to your brain, to your muscles, wherever
it is, your organ systems, your skin. So if the
heart's pumping harder, that's high blood pressure. They call it

(01:21:30):
vascular or peripheral resistance. The grape seed works by restoring
the nitric oxide stability and the blood vessels. The nitric
oxide pumps up in the blood vessels just like you
would pump air into a flat tire. The heart doesn't
have to pump as hard and your blood pressure has
as trend to go back to normal. They've seen this

(01:21:53):
in a number of studies using the invite grape seat extract.
The studies were done in Italy and France. So if
your blood pressures like one hundred and thirty nine over,
like one hundred and forty over, let's say eighty five
or ninety, taking our grape seed can help dramatically, can
help dramatically one twice a day or even one three

(01:22:15):
times a day. Now, if you take it before meals,
it can help you lose fat or it can help
improve your blood sugar because it blocks the absorption of
sugar from food.

Speaker 7 (01:22:25):
So if you don't need help.

Speaker 5 (01:22:26):
With your blood sugar or losing weight, take it after meals.
But if you do need help losing weight or controlling
your blood sugar, take it before meals. And attaches to
starts digesting enzymes like alpha glucosidation and alpha amiase family
of enzymes, and you release sless sugar from your food.
You'll still taste the food, it's just the sugar is

(01:22:48):
going out with your poop. It'll never make it into
your bloodstream. You'll absorb some of the sugar because you
need some of the sugar for energy, and this helps
people with diabetes or pre diabetes control the sugar. But
also people need to lose weight because you're absorbing less sugar.
You're getting less calories, and it's kind of like you
cut the calories and you lose weight. You lose fat

(01:23:11):
without losing muscle. By the way, when you go on
ozimpic or drugs like that, you're not just losing fat,
you're losing muscle. So that's not necessarily a good thing. Now,
I understand some people have to use the ozimpic and
drugs like that, but you know those GLP one agonists,
they act like GLP one And by the way, the

(01:23:33):
GLP one agonists are helping people with addictions, so that's
a good thing. But you have to be careful with
those drugs because besides losing fat, you lose muscle. Now,
I'm out of time. I spoke about a lot of
different things. We have many, many high quality supplements. We
have many supplements like our multi vitamins contain so many

(01:23:53):
ingredients that have been used in human clinical trials. We
know it is safe, we know they work, we know
how much to put in a multi vitrum. Right, it's
the only multi vitamin I'll ever take. I went into
a whole bunch of health food stores and all these
nutritional chains like GNC, et cetera. I could not find
any multivitamin that came close to the Invite multi vitamins.
Nothing came close, never mind being better than nothing came close.

(01:24:16):
So I spoke about all these different Invite products. So
many of our ingredients have been used in human clinical
trials that are published in medical journals, so we know
they're safe. We know how much to give you. Now
we know what to expect from them. So this is
not like waving them Harry Potter's magic wand and hoping

(01:24:36):
they work. We know they're going to work. Now we
know you could get it from Invite because we have
the nutritionists on hand, so if you go into the store,
you can meet them, you could call them on the phone.
You can even interact with them on the website. Plus
these products Invite because I made them do this, Okay,
I was the senior scientific officer there for decades. They

(01:24:57):
check them and they re check them to make sure
they're friend yes, to make sure they are clean. They
use the highest quality ingredients from you and clinical trials,
the right doses. No nonsense here. So take these vitamins.
But today you're getting a great deal because we're having
