You'll hear from Invite professionals who areleaders and targeted and anti aging nutrition.
Get ready for tomorrow's nutritional Science todayright here, right now. Hello,
and welcome to Invite Health Radio.I am doctor Amanda Williams, Scientific
director at Invite Health. Happy Saturdaymorning to everyone. It's a big weekend
(00:47):
for most folks out there. We'vegot Father's Day coming tomorrow, so happy
early Father's Day to all the dadsand grandpa's out there. I will be
spending the day day tomorrow with mydad. His birthday always falls right around
(01:07):
Father's Day. So it's interesting causemy mom's birthday is two days after Christmas
and my dad's birthday is the seventeenth, so it seems like it always partners
up with Father's Day. But wewill celebrate both days individually because they're both
incredibly unique. And we like tohonor him on both of those days.
(01:32):
So happy Early Father's Day to allthe dads out there. And today I
have many different things that I wantto cover with you. We have just
a little side note here. Wehave many different products that are on different
kind of super saving specials. Sodefinitely go to our website Invite health dot
(01:52):
com, or even better than that, stop by one of our stores and
have a chat with one of ourwonderful nutritionists. They are there to help
guide you through the process when itcomes to your wellness journeys. So definitely
stop by. It is a freeservice. If you can't make it into
one of the stores, you canalways give us a call. We're happy
(02:15):
to patch you through to one ofour nutritionists. We've got excellent folks.
We've got individuals who have been withus for so many years. They know
our product line inside out and theyjust have so many years of experience and
knowledge. The fact that you cango over and you can speak with a
naturopathic doctor, I think is quiteunique to Invite Health. So we have
(02:39):
doctor Claire over at our Forest Hillslocation. She is there today, so
you can stop by Forest Hills andhave a chat with her. I mean,
this is the type of folks thatwe have and invite health. We
have individuals who have spent countless amountof years not only studying human health,
(03:04):
but also nutrition and dietary supplementation. So the fact that you can go in
and you can have a free consultationwith someone like doctor Claire is just a
wonderful resource for you to tap into. So I encourage you to do so.
I have different products that I'm goingto be discussing with you today,
(03:25):
some products that are on those SuperSaving Specials, plus some other products that
are just on special for today's radioshow, and I will be getting to
all of that. But there aresome new things that are in the news
that I want to share with you. Fun little study just came out on
(03:46):
vitamin D was in the Science Advancesjournal and they were talking about vitamin D
in the setting of longevity. Sothat's right in my wheelhouse because I'm always
looking for ways that I can stickaround this planet a little longer, and
aging gracefully to me, is partof what I think invites. Whole basis
(04:09):
is we all understand that we aregoing to get older, but the goal
is is that we want to ageas gracefully as possible. This is really
so important because if we go throughthe aging process and we have so many
different hurdles and stumbles along the way, this doesn't make aging that much fun.
(04:33):
I always look at myself and Iuse myself as that example that if
you make small modifications in what youdo every single day, it can make
huge impacts on how you feel. And when I changed over to a Mediterranean
(04:54):
style way of eating every single day, when I really started to focus on
being mindful not only in my eatingand mindful eating, I must tell you
it's quite quite enjoyable. It's somethingthat I never realized how important it is
to pay attention to what you're eating, not just the quality of the food,
but to actually pay attention to whatyou are eating. To not have
(05:17):
distractions, to turn the television off, to not have my cell phone sitting
right next to me, or youknow, checking emails while I'm eating.
I mean, that can really disruptyour whole digestive process. And this is
something that I guess I wasn't quiteaware of for a very long time.
But now that I have made thisshift, I tell you I have so
(05:38):
much energy and I feel really goodevery single day. So I credit that
to not only to making those majordietary changes so many years ago and just
cutting out any type of ultra processfood from my diet, but really zeroing
in on the mindfulness component to that, and doing much better with my stress
(06:00):
management, and of course taking mysupplements every single day, because I also
am aware of the fat that eventhough I'm doing pretty much all of the
right steps towards aging gracefully, Istill have pockets where I may not be
getting adequate exposure two key nutrients, which is why you know supplementation with the
(06:21):
Performance multi vitamin. Actually in thesummer, I usually switch over to the
Multi Energy powder because I really zeroin on that hydration and we know hydration
is key, so I always supplementwith Multi Energy powder as my multi vitamin
during those warmer months. And Itell you what, it's getting warm.
(06:42):
We've got a ton of rain downhere in South Florida this week. But
that's okay, we need that.It probably didn't need it in the amounts
it was coming down, but inmy neighborhood, I was, okay,
we actually do pretty good with thedrainage. So but there is parts in
South Florida that are still underwater,so it just it was coming down quick.
(07:04):
So back to this study, scienceadvances looking at vitamin D and how
it's playing a role when it comesto longevity. And this makes an awful
lot of sense to me because vitaminD is technically a hormone. So if
we have different receptor sites found throughoutthe body and these cells and different pathways
(07:27):
and functions that are relying on theaction of vitamin D, or maybe vitamin
D is actually communicating the message forthat cell, then if we don't have
adequate vitamin D, this is muchmore detrimental than that of just looking at
bone health and the loss of vitaminD creating weakened bones. We have to
(07:51):
look at this as how does thisaffect our muscles, how is this affecting
our brain our heart function? Andthey found that vitamin D is the key
when it came to increasing lifespan. And when you look at the level of
(08:13):
insufficient intake of vitamin D in thiscountry, it's really pronounced. It's estimated
around ninety percent of Americans do notget adequate vitamin D just from their diet
alone, which leaves this big, huge, you know, gaping hole for
(08:35):
the amount of people who are walkingaround every day with insufficient vitamin D levels.
So this is why I always encouragefolks, please make sure you get
your vitamin D level tested. Don'ttake it for granted, and just assume
that your doctor is testing your serumvitamin D level when you go in for
your annual physical. They're not justputting it out there. They're not unless
(09:00):
you're seeing a functional medicine doctor,in which case, of course they will
be. But most people are justgoing to you know, your general practitioner,
your regular internal medicine doctor. They'renot looking at your vitamin D level
because they still are in that mindsetthat vitamin D is solely for bone health,
and so why would they think,oh, yeah, I should probably
(09:20):
check this person's vitamin D level becausemaybe this has to do with their brain
function or with their metabolism. Weknow this at Invite Health, which is
why we encourage you to have thatserum vitamin D level assessed on a regular
basis, because then that gives youan idea as to how much you should
be supplementing with. I always usemyself once again as the example. I
(09:46):
supplement with five thousand international units perday. I find that five thousand I
use per day for me is whatkeeps me in a very healthy range.
And that's very important because I Idon't want my levels to be too low
because I woulds say it's like ifyou have a dollar in the bank or
(10:07):
one hundred dollars, you'd rather haveone hundred dollars than a dollar, right,
Same thing with vitamin D. Irecognize that vitamin D is so critical
to all of these different functions.I want to make sure I have an
adequate supply of vitamin D in mysystem at all times. So point of
the story, have your vitamin Dlevel tested. It's really key to aging
(10:31):
gracefully. And of course if you'rejust thinking about it for bone health,
it's important for your bones as well. Same thing with your omega threes.
Another study came out, it wasin the Aging Journal, talking about how
higher blood levels of omega threes weredirectly linked to the delaying of brain aging.
(10:56):
Now this is important because you maythink, what do you mean by
brain and aging? Well, ifyou look at the brain, which most
folks are not looking at their brainsright, it's kind of protected, which
is a good thing. But weknow that if we do like an MRI
and you look at the volume thesize of the brain, that the brain
(11:18):
can shrink or atrophy over time. And this is very common, especially in
Americans who follow a standard American diet. So we say you have this skinny
little brain, which is not ideal. We want to have a nice,
full fat brain, that fat comingfrom those omega threes. This is another
(11:41):
important test that doctors will never lookat, but looking at your serum fatty
acid levels is really key because ifyou can recognize that you're not getting enough
omega threes from your diet, whichyou're likely not because you're likely not eating
enough food foods that are loaded downwith good, healthy fats. So with
(12:05):
that being said, this can leadto issues when it comes to the way
in which the brain itself is aging. So in this study, they were
doing MRIs and they were looking atthe structure of the brain, looking at
the metabolism of the brain and thefunctional connectivity, so the way in which
(12:28):
the brain cells are actually communicating withone another. And in doing these different
comparative studies, they can see thatindividuals who you know, adhere to a
Mediterranean diet that were supplementing with fishoil or krill oil. They did really
well in terms of maintaining that brainvolume as they aged and seeing that functional
(12:52):
connection still intact. So don't chalkup, you know, the normal aging
process and feeling like your memory isn'tquite as sharp as it once used to
be as just part of normal aging. We can alter that, we can
correct that, We can prevent thatwith supplementation of omega threes and of course
(13:15):
adherence to a Mediterranean diet. SoI just wanted to share that with you
because I oftentimes zero in on keynutrends that everyone should be taking on a
regular basis. Omega three fatty acidshappen to be one of those. So
whether you're using the Invite Health fishoil, which is very high in total
omega threes, the EPA and DHAthat you get from that, and it's
(13:39):
a very clean source, not allfish oil, unfortunately, is created the
same. We go to great lengthsto make sure that the fish oil that
we are sourcing is incredibly potent butalso very clean, and it goes through
a double distillation process to a surethat you are getting the highest amount of
(14:03):
those omega threes and the cleanest source, so potency, pure purity, all
of those things matter and always have, always will at Invite Health. So
I have different products that I wantto discuss with you, one of which
I think is a really great productto have on board during those hot human
(14:26):
days that are forecasted for all ofour futures here for the next few months.
So I'm going to talk about thatproduct, but I do need to
squeeze in a quick break, sostick around with me. I will be
right back just after this. Takeadvantage of Invite Health's new product specials introducing

back to Invite Health Radio. Iam doctor Amanda Williams, and I want
(15:56):
to talk about purples. Purples hI love our powdered formulations. I like
to change up my supplementation routine.Jerry Hickey, he does too, and
why wouldn't we. I mean,we have so many different products in the
Invite Health line, and they allhave their own unique way in which they
(16:21):
can support our health. And sowe like to get creative, both of
us. So, you know, sometimes we do seasonal changes. I already
mentioned, you know, during thesummer, I like to switch over to
the multi energy powder for my multivitamin of choice, but I also like
to add in some of our differentpowders. So we have the Purples HX,
(16:45):
which is just loaded down with powerfulfruit and vegetable extracts, and it's
incredibly tasty. First and foremost,it's a wonderful way for us to once
again encourage healthy hydra and we don'twant to get dehydrated, folks. Dehydration
(17:07):
is not our friend. I thinkI talked about this a couple of weeks
ago that I was, uh unfortunately, had had my bout with chronic dehydration
many many years ago, and thatactually led to the development of kidney stones
for me. Yay, not funat all, horrible, horrible experience.
(17:32):
I had mentioned that when I wasgraduating from medical school on the day of
my graduation supposed to be this wonderfulday, and I was doubled over in
pain, just struggling to make myway across the stage to get my degree,
and I wanted nothing more than tocrawl into a corner and cry.
(17:53):
I was in such severe pain. When they talk about kidney stone pain,
If anyone out there has ever experiencedthis, oh goodness it is. It
is just horrific and there's just nothingthat you can do, you know,
I mean, but what I diddo is I learned from that and I
said, oh, hydration is key. Water is my friend. And so
(18:15):
this is why in the summer inparticular, I look at products like the
Multi Energy powder, but also thePurple's HX because this is once again a
really nice way for me to geta high amount of fruit and vegetable derived
antioxidants and vitamins and minerals into mysystem at the same time keeping me well
(18:40):
hydrated. So this particular product,it really packs a punch not only for
our circulatory system but also for ourbrain. And the reason why is it
has key nutrients that are added intothis formulation, including carnatine as well as
touring. So we start to breakdown the importance of those amino acids once
(19:04):
again, and we can see thatwhen we supplement with touring, tourin has
a lot of anti aging properties toit. But touring is key when it
comes to the excitable tissues in thebody. And when we think about excitable
tissues, we want to be thinkingalong the lines of the brain and the
(19:26):
heart. Well, I certainly careabout my brain and my heart, and
I want to make sure that mybrain and my heart are going as good
as they possibly can. So withadding in a scoop of the Purple's HX,
I know that I'm giving my systemthese powerful oor ac rated. So
that's the way in which the antioxidantcapacity of a particular fruit or a food.
(19:52):
It's usually when we're looking at fruitshow well they actually are working.
This particular product. The Purple's HXcontains a CE in this, and a
C is one of the most powerfulantioxidants out there. When you start to
(20:15):
break down the oxygen radical absorbs andcapacity also known as the AORAC value of
foods as ranks in it like thetop and you look at you know,
pomegranate, billberry extracts blueberries very highin their antioxidant capacity, but as is
(20:37):
like at its own level, it'sincredibly powerful. So of course when you
come across this and you say, wow, this is quite impressive. It
has you know, like double theantioxidants of many other wonderful fruits. So
scientists of course want to know moreabout this. If this is providing us
(21:02):
with all of these antioxidants, whatelse is it doing. You know,
clearly it's fighting free radicals for us. But they actually realize that the ASEE
can inhibit the Cox one and Coxtwo pathways. And you may be thinking,
what in the world does the Coxone and the Cox two pathways?
(21:22):
But these are main pathways in thebody that, when overactivated, actually drive
a high amount of inflammation, whichwe don't want. We don't want to
have high amounts of inflammation because whatdoes that lead to. Well, we
can look at all of the differentchronic disease states and recognizing that increases in
(21:48):
inflammation are incredibly problematic when it comesto self function. So when we're supplementing
with the Purples HX and we getthis wonderful exposure to these powerful fruit and
vegetable extracts, we're getting our tourine, we're getting our carnetine, and we're
getting a high amount of US AE which is helping to regulate inflammation and
(22:11):
at the same time it's fighting offfree radicals. It really makes it such
a powerful and unique formulation, andthis is why this particular product has remained
one of our fan favorites for somany years. It is, first and
foremost incredibly tasty and taste matters. You know, when you are supplementing with
(22:36):
a powdered formulation, you want itto taste good, and you want it
to taste good in the most naturalways possible. We don't want to have
all of these added you know, colors and flavors, and no, that's
not ideal. I always say anythingthat's artificial should never be going into our
system. Artificial it means it's fake, and we don't want to put fake
(22:59):
things into our body, which iswhy we always want to try to avoid
ultra processed foods because that's just loadeddown with who knows what types of chemicals.
So you look at the purple's haxand you say, well, I'm
getting blueberry extract, there's black cherryextract in this. I get black current
extracts. And then only start thinkingabout all these deep, you know,
(23:21):
blue and purple pigmented fruits. Wesay, well, I know that those
do something else. What is that? Oh, they contain something known as
C three G and the actual longname of that is signed in three glycoside.
Not that you need to know that, not that you even need to
know what C three G is.But what we do need to take away
(23:45):
from these dark pigmented fruits is thatthey provide us a really rich source that
helps to support the health of oureyes. So while we're taking the Purple's
HAX and we think, Okay, this is great for my high this is
wonderful for my brain, but we'realso getting these powerful nutrients that help with
(24:07):
the redopsin in your eye. Redopsinis the light absorber. So maybe you
know you're out at night, you'relike, wow, I get you know,
everything seems really dim, of coursebecause it's nighttime, right, but
maybe you're at a restaurant and thelighting in the restaurant is quite dim,
and you go, wow. Youknow, this never seemed to affect me
when I was in my twenties, but you know, no, I'm in
(24:29):
my fifties and I just I'm reallystruggling in these low light environments. And
the reason why you are struggling isbecause of the loss of that redopsin.
So we know that signed in threeglycoside that comes from these powerful fruit extracts
can help our eye with better vision, better visual acuity in that low light
(24:59):
environment. So it's kind of oneof those wind winds when we look at
the Purple's HX, the power ofall of these anthosygnins that's the technical name
of the antioxidants that are found inthese different fruit extracts. They certainly pack
a punch when it comes to supportingthe lining of our blood vessels, protecting
(25:22):
our blood vessels from oxidative stress andfree radical damage that can lead to problems
such as peripheral artery disease. Whenwe think about all of the different cardiovascular
disease conditions, if we add inthat Purple's HX, we're putting in this
layer of healthy nutrients to support bettercirculation, which to me, I think
(25:48):
is quite relevant. We should allcare about that. And then you look
at the way in which these powerfruits are working to support the health of
our brain. And there was areally fascinating study that was conducted many years
ago, and it was done onblueberry extracts, so freeze dried blueberry extract,
(26:14):
which is an important takeaway because whenyou look at the purples HX,
there's a high amount of blueberry extractin this formulation. And so they took
a group of individuals who were betweenthe ages of sixty eight and ninety two
years old, and they all had, you know, to some degree,
mild cognitive impairments, so some memoryissues, not feeling as sharp as they
(26:37):
once used to and just chalked itup to normal aging, right, not
thinking, oh, it is mybrain shrinking. Maybe I need my omega
threes. Am I getting enough vitaminD? I know that's important for my
brain. But besides that point, they said, well, let's give them
blueberry extract and then let's do thesefunctional MRIs where we can actually look at
(26:59):
what's happening to the brain under thiscircumstance of having the blueberry extract in the
blood stream. And what was incrediblyfascinating through this was that they could see
how the brain was almost immediately respondingto the power of that blueberry extract,
(27:22):
and they could recognize how the functionalcapacity the interconnections once again of the neurons
in the brain were starting to workmuch more efficiently under that setting of the
blueberry extract. So this once againjust kind of drives home the point as
(27:42):
to why we would want to addin the Purple's HX to our supplementation routine.
So even if you're not taking itevery single day, maybe you're taking
it a few days out of theweek, that's much better than not having
the exposure to those nutrients at all. So this study that they conducted that
(28:06):
was a randomized, double blind, placebo controlled trial. Remember that's the gold
standard. That's the type of studythat we like to identify. And through
this study, seeing the outcome, seeing the group of individuals who were given
the blueberry extract compared to those whowere not, and seeing the results of
(28:26):
those functional MRIs is so incredibly impressive. And then you say, okay,
well, then I'm also getting thecarnatine which helps to drive energy in the
brain and energy in the heart.Because carnatine is that key energy shuttle.
I always say it's like a taxithat's taking from point A to point B.
It helps to pick up the fattyacids that are lingering on the outside
(28:51):
of the cell and it pushes theminto the inside of the cell so that
they can be made and utilized intoenergy. And the better we do with
making sure that our mitochondria, theinnercore of our cells, have access to
energy, the better we do withall aspects of aging. So purples AcHx
(29:11):
definitely is a go to, speciallyduring the warmer days. And that's on
special right now. I do needto squeeze in a quick break, so
stick around with me. I havea lot more to cover. I will

(30:21):
hundred six three two zero five sevento two. That's eight hundred and six
three two zero five seven two,or go to invitehealth dot com and welcome
back Invite Health Radio. I amdoctor Amanda Williams fosphatitle seering. Since we're
(30:44):
talking purples, HX and brain health, might as well talk about some fostatitle
seering. I already talked about theimportance of omega threes. Why omega three
fatty acids are so essential when itcomes to the health of our brain.
And we know that as our brainis aging, it has a natural tendency
to want to start to shrink down. We don't want that. We don't
(31:07):
want to have a small, skinnylittle brain. We want to have a
nice, full brain. Part ofthe moving parts to having that full brain
includes not only your omega three fattyacids, but also your phospho lipids.
So it's another fat. So wehave phosphatydyl coaline, which we know is
(31:29):
naturally occurring in the kryl oil.So the Invite Health cryll Oil Advanced has
a wonderful amount of phosphatidyl coline. But then we also have our phosphatidyl seering.
This is this very important key fatand we know that the phosphatyl seering
plays a significant role when it comesto memory and the release of acetylcholine,
(31:57):
which is our key memory neurotransmitter. We recognize that phospatitle seering is a wonderful
way for our brain to achieve healthyneuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity is the capacity within the
brain to repair dinged up and damagedbrain cells, and if we have too
(32:24):
many dinged up and damaged brain cells, this can lead to problems with focus,
attention, and of course memory. So we want to have these key
fats in our system so that ourbrain can remain nice and full. So
we look at phosphatyityle searing as beinga little tool in this. Now,
(32:49):
what's unique about phosphatityle searing is notonly is it really powerful when it comes
to the way in which the brainis functioning, but it's also so incredibly
impactful for the body's stress response andfor individuals who have higher amounts of daily
(33:15):
stress. You know, maybe it'scommuting, maybe it's you know a family,
maybe it is your job. There'sa lot of different factors that can
lead to stress. Maybe it's you'redealing with a chronic condition. Maybe you
have high blood pressure or diabetes, and this is going to create not only
(33:36):
physiological stress, but also emotional stress. So we know that posphatitle searing,
this key fat that we think aboutfor our brain and for memory, is
really important when it comes to theway in which the hypothalmis, the pituitary,
and the adrenal glands are working insynergy together. So there's something known
(34:01):
as the HPA access through supplementation ofphosphatitle seering, we can see the power
of this key fat, how thisfat is working to blunt the effects of
cortisol. Cortisol is that main stresshormone that the adrenal glands release, and
(34:23):
when we have access cortisol, thiscan lead to a lot of problems,
not only in that you know thatchronic just stress build up. You feel
like you're always on this fight orflight response, which is not good,
but is also going to disrupt yourinsulin response, which can make you more
insulin resistant, which can make problemswhen it comes to your blood sugar regulation.
(34:47):
But it also has a really negativeeffect even on just our daily metabolism,
because if we have excess cortisol that'sbuilding, this can end I packed
our body's ability to actually break downthe fat cells. So we don't want
(35:07):
this to happen either. So lookingat fostatitle seiring and in the Journal of
Nutrition Neurosciences two decades ago, folks, I mean, so this isn't something
that's new. We know the impactof this key fat They were looking at
fossatitle seerine supplementation when it came tooverall mood and when it came to your
(35:32):
heart rate, which is important becausethink about when you're stressed, what is
happening in the body. Think aboutthe not only the emotional effect of that
stress, but what's happening on thephysiological side of that. So they found
that when they gave individuals fosatitle searingsupplementation that they could see not only a
(36:00):
significant subjective response where they're saying, yes, I feel less stressed, so
how am I feeling, But whenthey were actually looking at measurable markers,
they could see the stress levels comingdown, they could see cortisol levels starting
to plummet, they could see betterregulation of the heart rate. So I
(36:22):
always go back to the very interestingstudies that have been conducted on fostatitle seine
in that setting of stress. Andyou know, they've given fosatitle syriane to
college students when they're going in totake their you know, final exams of
the semester, and how the fostatitlesyrian can allow them to be better focused
(36:45):
and less stressed during their exams. So this is very impressive that it works
that quickly. And looking at anotherstudy that was published in the Lipids Health
and Disease Journal, it's there's somany diff journals out there, and some
of them just have kind of interestingnames, but lipids in Health and Disease,
(37:05):
So looking at fats and their impacton health and disease, that's the
whole point of this journal. Butthey were looking at phospatitle seyiine how this
normalizes the stress reactivity of the hypothalmis, pituitary and adrenal access. So they
took a group of chronically stressed individuals. This was a randomized placebo controlled trial
(37:29):
and they said, well, let'sjust give half of the group posptotityl seine
every day. Let's give the otherhalf a placebo. How long was this
study It was only about forty dayslong. And the reason why that's important
it was because the amount of change. The shift in their stress response in
(37:52):
this short amount of time was soincredibly impressive that they could see that supplementation
of phosphatityl seirine really led to asignificant control mechanism. So when we think
about fostatitle seiring, maybe you're thinkingabout your memory and you've heard myself or
you've heard Jerry Hickey talk about theimportance of phosphatityle seiring and the documented you
(38:15):
know, scientific research studies on theimpact of phospatitle searing when it comes to
memory, and you know, fightingdementia, Alzheimer's disease clearly multiple clinical research
trials out there that show that. But we also have to look at the
impact on conditions such as anxiety, depression, high levels of stress, chronic
(38:42):
fatigue, syndrome, fibromyalgia. Theimpact that phospatitle searing supplementation can have for
you is really important. So thebest way to take your phostatitle seirin generally
speaking, is going to be firstthing in the morning with your brain breakfast
and taking two capsules is what Igenerally will advise. Now, are there
(39:05):
times where maybe taking three capsules wouldbe more advantageous or taking two capsules twice
a day or dividing that dose.Of course, this is why we are
all unique in our own right, and this is why speaking to one of
our nutritionness is so important, becausewhen you're going to be using one of
our formulations, you want to makesure that you're getting the most out of
(39:28):
these products and that you're using themin the most efficient way for your needs.
And what your needs are may becompletely different than what somebody else's needs
are. So maybe you are anindividual who you do have a high stress
job and your stress level builds throughoutthe day, then it may be better
(39:51):
for you to be taking your Fostatitlesearing every day at lunchtime. So it
really is just going to, youknow, depend on what your specific,
if it needs are and determining thatwith one of our nutritional experts. So
FOSTA Title Searing cannot speak highly enoughabout this particular product. You can partner
(40:13):
that up with our l car withAla. We have that available in capsules
now, which I think is awonderful way to get your l car with
ALA in It still would be advisableeven though it's in a capsule to still
take that on an empty stomach. We know the power of acetyl al carnatine
(40:36):
partnered up with alfalapoic acid. Remember, alphalapoc acid is one of our indagenous
antioxidants, one of the body's mostimportant antioxidants. It works in many different
mechanisms, but one of the keythings that we know about alfalopoic acid is
that it really helps to regenerate andprotect our other endogenous antioxidants. So when
(41:05):
you're looking at coq ten, whenyou look at vitamin C, glue to
thione, we want to make surethat we maintain healthy levels of those.
Now, how many people walk aroundevery day and have no idea like do
I have enough co Q ten inmy system? Do I have enough glue
to thione? Most people don't knowwhy because you're not testing your levels.
(41:28):
Can you test your levels? Yes? Which is always my point to traditional
doctors that want to be dismissive totaking coenzyme Q ten ubiquinol as a supplement,
and they say, ah, well, what do you need that for?
Well, because it's naturally occurring inthe body. And what we know
is that as we get older throughthe normal aging process, those levels start
(41:53):
to diminish. We don't want thatto happen. So this is why supplementation
of coenzyme Q ten is really important. But we also look at the role
that alfalopoic acid plays into coenz i'mq ten and if we're supplementing each day
with the l CAR and ALA,we know that this is helping to protect
(42:19):
our co q ten levels so thatwe're not losing coq ten just from aging
alone. So this particular product, the l CAR with ALA, there's so
many different utilizations for this. Onceagain, not only just for energy and
for the antioxidant value of this product, but when you start to look at
(42:42):
the way in which acetylelcarantine and alfalopoicacid have been studied across numerous different health
conditions, I think one of themore impressive studies that I came across through
all of my many years of lookingat these research studies came out of Rockefeller
(43:06):
University, and when the researchers atRockefeller University started to recognize a very common
issue that was occurring, and thatwas that acetyl al carnatine blood levels if
those were low in patients who werediagnosed with major depressive disorder. They were
(43:34):
finding that treatment resistant depression was morepronounced in these individuals. So what does
that mean. Well, they tooktheir blood level of acetyl alcarantine those who
had really low levels of el carin their system. Those were also the
individuals who had been through many differenttries of different antidepressant medications and were not
(43:59):
find any success in improving their depressivesymptoms and that their depression was actually getting
worse, which would make sense right, But they found that if they could
increase the acetyl al carnatine level, that blood level of acetyl al carntine,
they could drive that level up,they started to get better control of their
(44:22):
depression and they were more responsive tothe medications. So really fascinating study looking
at this incredibly strong link between mood, health and acetyl l carnatine. So
maybe you're taking our l car withALA because you're just concerned about memory,
(44:45):
but also recognize that your daily supplementationof this wonderful formulation is also helping to
drive up your other antioxidants giving youextra protection. It's also helping to support
your mood as well well as thefunctionality of your heart, so it's just
a really great product. Definitely checkout the the l car with Ala and
(45:08):
we now have that available in acapsule formulation, so check that out.
I do need to squeeze in onelast break, so stick around with me.

(46:37):
morning to everyone sports. Last timeI was with you, I was rooting
on on your Rangers and that kindof fell flat, didn't it. Now
I'll be tuning in tonight see ifthe Oilers can, I don't know,
get a win. If they don't, then the Panthers are walking away with
(46:59):
Stanley Cup tonight. So this shouldbe interesting. I'm kind of I'm indifferent.
I am indifferent right now. Iwas really really had all my my
stock there in the Rangers. Buthe maybe next year. Maybe next year.
(47:20):
We have a brand new probiotic, probiotic Immune and this is a great
multi strain formulation that also contains zincand vitamin D. This is a wonderful
probiotic to take on a regular basisjust for four seasons of immune systems support.
(47:45):
So it's not overly powerful. Itis just this really lovely blend of
four really important strains of bacteria. So it contains Lactobacillus acidophilus, there's Lacko
Bacillus kse i in this, LactoBacillis ramnosis, and Biffidobactrum longum partnered up
(48:07):
with fructo illego sachride. So ithas your prebiotic in this, and then
it has your vitamin D and ithas zinc in this, So it's giving
you two thousand ius of vitamin Dalong with seven and a half milligrams of
zinc. Very nice blend, awonderful way to address not only concerns when
(48:29):
it comes to your immune system, but just for overall digestive support. When
you look at the blend of thesebacteria, there's a reason why this product
is formulated the way that it is. We understand that lack of Bacillus acidophilus
is one of those really important healthybacterias found in the gi tract that plays
(48:54):
a integral role into proper dietgi estion, and we can see its usefulness in
different digestive disorders. Certainly, ithas been studied quite extensively in different conditions
such as irritable bowel syndrome, youknow, conditions with chronic diarrhea for example,
(49:20):
and seeing how that lack of Bacillusacidophilus really can allow for better management
of the GI tract itself. Andwhen you say, well, you know
why put that with the Biffidobactrum longum, Well we can start to see that
Biffidobactrum longum, along with lack ofBacillus acidophilas these two key bacteria. We
(49:46):
recognize that once again, just throughthe aging process alone, the natural amounts
of those two bacteria will start tokind of dwindle away. And in their
dwindling way, then this kind ofleaves the door open for greater levels of
dysbiosis. If we're experiencing gut dysbiosis, this is not a good thing
(50:10):
because gut dysbiosis is the main reasonwhy we deal with systemic inflammation. So
maybe you don't recognize, well,heck, it's because I don't have enough
Biffidobacterum longom that my ne arthritis isflaring up. But we know that there
(50:31):
is this direct connection to this.So taking the probiotic immune each day is
a really great way for us toovercome the natural loss of these good,
healthy bacteria as we grow older. So this is why when you look at
(50:55):
the different strains that are contained inprobio immune this is based off of the
science in the Journal of Gut Microbesback in twenty twenty three. They talk
about the efficacy like how effective biffidobatrumlongum is when it comes to the way
(51:15):
in which our GI system is balancedout, and looking at this not only
when we are, you know, young, but as we grow older,
and they can see the ability ofbiffidobactrum longum to actually treat and prevent a
whole wide range of different diseases. So it's a it's a fascinating study that
(51:42):
was conducted solely on biffobathrum longum. But this is why when you look at
our formulations and you say, well, you know, how did you come
up with these particular strains. Youknow, why did you partner lack of
Bacillus acidophilus with biffido backrum longum. Why is you know, lack of Bacillus
(52:02):
ramnosis in this formulation. There arealways reasons as to why we blend different
healthy bacteria together to potentiate these powerfulhealth benefits for you. So definitely check
that product out. Excellent choice forindividuals who are just looking for daily digestive
(52:25):
support on top of just having acontinual supply of healthy bacteria along with that
zinc and vitamin D. When itcomes to your health, I want to
talk about Sila G again quickly. We have that Sila GI back in stock.
All of the neuroprotective properties of SilaGI. Remember, Sheila G is
(52:47):
derived from the Himalayans and it isjust loaded down not only with fulvic acid.
So hence, why are Sheila Gfifty max its name the fifty for
the fifty percent fulvic acid that itcontains, has a whole list of trace
(53:07):
minerals that are contained in this toreally support healthy aging, cognition, and
of course our immune system hormone balance. The studies are so incredibly impressive on
shilogy's impact on testosterone levels and supportingfertility, but beyond that, we look
(53:29):
at the studies on its neuroprotective roles. In the Journal of Pharmaceuticals, they
looked at how the antioxidants that arecontained, the humic acid, the fulvic
acid, and of course the partneringup with those natural trace minerals. How
that works to allow the brain tonot only have a mechanism to fight off
(53:57):
neuroinflammation ox stative stress that can beincredibly detrimental to the health of the brain
cells, but just how efficient theshila gie is when it comes to the
way in which those neuronal connections areworking. And I think that that was
(54:20):
one of the most impressive things thatresearchers came to find with the use of
silag when it comes to cognitive health, not just that it was fighting free
radicals, but the fact that ithas this wonderful spectrum of these different minerals
along with that fulvic acid. Itallowed for this unique connection between different neurons
(54:46):
so that those pathways were more insync. And I think that when you
look deep into these studies and yousay, wow, that truly is impressive.
This is why when you're looking atconditions like Alzheimer's disease and you go,
gosh, you know, when arethey ever going to get to the
point where they can find things Wecan look at formulations like shila gi,
(55:09):
like we' zveritromax and we can saythese are the nutrients that we really need
to be focusing our attention on becausewe can already see the way in which
these power nutrients are working. Sojust wanted to mention that that Shila Gee
fifty max that's back in stock,so definitely take advantage of that wonderful for
(55:30):
you know, collagen synthesis, sofor healthy aging of your skin of course,
great for hormone health, and it'sjust a power antioxidant, so it's
an excellent choice. Just to addin have that Purples Ahax, the Organic
Greens Plus, that's another excellent choiceto have for summertime hydration and for detoxification.
