And it's always an honor and a privilege to be
speaking with you on the radio, especially on WOAR, one
of the great grandparents of all radio stations. It's just
a fabulous radio station. Now, there's an exceedingly important molecule

that your body makes, and it gives you the lion's
share of your energy. Almost all of your energy comes
out of this molecule. It's called you be queen will
or ubiquinal, you could pronounce it either way, and it
allows food to be converted into energy. But it does

of your cell. Just think if you couldn't clean out
the inside of let's say your bathroom. You know, you

are many drugs that treat the pain, the suffering, the
stiffness of arthritis, but they have consequences that can be dangerous.
For instance, Advil celebrates, they can raise your blood pressure,

really commonly disperse that kind of information. But there's a

You release different growth factors in your brain. One of
them is called nerve growth factor. That's an important one.
Another one is called brain derived neurotrophic factor, and these
stimulate the formation of memory cells. So in about two

if they go to bed at night and they sleep
long enough, they can generate five hundred and six hundred
new brain cells every night. That's very important. By the
time you're fifty, you've doubled the amount of brain cells
involved with memory. So you've lost some, you're losing some

heart has to work harder to get the blood pumped
around the body. So taking the grape sheet extract restores
the functionality of your blood pestils. And I know our

So these are very happy grapes and it's the seed,

you walk three times a day for ten minutes after breakfast,
after lunch, and after dinner for just ten minutes, I
mean if you walk more, it's even better. Your blood
sugar will drop about twenty to twenty five percent, and
if you add the grape seed to that, you'll probably
get your blood sugar at a good forty percent. That
makes a massive difference when you diabetic. Why does it
(33:32):
help lower your blood sugar? It only helps if you
take it before a meal. If you take it in
between meals, it has no effect on blood sugar. So
if you don't want an impact on your blood sugar,
take it in between meals. You take it ten minutes
before the meal, and it attaches to the sugar, starts
digesting enzymes. The starch has to release sugar. If you
(33:52):
take the grape seed, the sugar remains inside the starch
and it passes through your digestive tract and that comes
out with your poop. Never got an your blood stream.
You'll only absorb about thirty percent of the sugar, which
is enough for energy. So what it does It attaches
to the enzymes that break down starch, alpha amylase enzymes
and the alpha glucosidase enzymes. These are families of enzymes
(34:14):
that break down start and release sugar. So you'll still
taste the food, but you're not absorbing the sugar. And
that's a real win win situation. So if you're diabetic,
take your grape seat extra before one or two meals
a day. You have to do it before all three,
not really, and then walk for ten minutes after each meal,
(34:35):
and you'll see your sugar really improved dramatically. But your
circulation will benefit too. Your blood pressure should benefit. There's
research showing that grape seed protects the eyeballs of diabetics,
that protects the kidneys of diabetics. So there's certain nutrients
I love to give diabetics. I like to give them
grape seat extra. I like to give them you bique all.
(34:56):
I like to give them vitamin C, vitamin D, the
mineral magnesium zinc. They do so much better when you're
given these supplements biotin, which is a B vitamin. So
now one other group that can benefit from grape seed
is if you want to lose fat to lose fat.
(35:16):
You have to take the grape seed right before a
meal like a diabetic So how does it work. It
blocks the absorption of sugar from the food. So if
you have block the absorption of sugar, you're getting less calories.
You're gonna lose fat. So if you take grape seed
before meals and then you walk, you're gonna lose fat.
You don't have to take ozempic and get ozimpic face,
(35:37):
an ozmpic butt, and all those other weird side effects
of ozimpic. You ever hit the city ozimpic butt? Oh, Now,
what's the real problem with ozmpic? It can cause thyroid cancer.
Ozimpic can cause thyroid cancer. We've known this for decades
(36:01):
that those kind of drugs. The first one of those
drugs was called Bayeta. It came out a lizard spit.
You are certain lizards to gia monster down and like
the Sonorian desert, only has to eat and drink every
six months. So they said there must be something in
the spit that protects them. And they found this stuff
and they made they made a drug out of it
that you inject into your belly. The problem is they
found out, hey, does it increase the risk of pacreatic

cancer not sure. Does it increase the risk of pacreatitis,
not sure, because diabetes does that too. But they did
find that it increases the risk of a certain type
of thyroid cancer and who the heck Wan's thyroid cancer.
So a safe way to lose weight is to take
the grape seed extract two hundred and fifty milligres before
each meal, ten minutes before you absorb less sugar from
each meal. Then you take a walk after the meal,

and you're gonna lose weight. You're gonna lose weight. Now,
if you don't want to lose weight and you don't
want to improve your blood sugar, just take the grape
seed in between meals. This way you only get the
effect on your circulation. This way you get the effect
of circulation. Now, let's talk about a nutrient that's kinda
related to grape seat extract, it's not really. It's called
(37:10):
rest viritral. So where grape seat extract works mostly in
the in the body for circulation, rest viritual works it
seems to work mostly in the brain. First of all,
rest virtual improves lung function. So who needs help with
lung function? Well, if you add like respiratory sinctial virus
or covid or the flu, you want to take rest

if you're exposed to pollution or cigarette smoke, or if
you just have older lungs like me, you want to

in men, and other things happen. The heart weakens, your

That's very bid for your brain and heart and your

shield yourself from that pollution. So yeah, those highways give

off a lot of pollution, a tremendous amount of pollution.
Now let's get back to it. The rest veritual is
great for your lungs. So if you're older like me seventy,
you want to increase the capacity of the lungs to breathe,
to inhale a xhale so you could work out better
and see you're more comfortable, so there's less pressure on
your brain and your heart, your eyes, et cetera, and
your kidneys. Take respirtual great for the lie us. It

also seems to have an impact on the pancreas and
the thyroid. Rest Virtual is a very tiny, very complex
molecule with two ends to it that do different things. Technically,

know my background is pharmacy and nutrition. That's my background,
a licensed pharmacist. In any event, we were talking about
res ferchu one, and how it's good for lung health,
and how it's good for the pancreas. It also gets
into the thyroid and shows the thyroid. It gets into
the adrenal glands and shows the adrenal glands because it's
(42:52):
this really tiny molecule that's very powerful as an antioxidant,
anti inflammatory agent of that kind cellular inflammation. It's not
good for us critis inflammation. It's more for cellular inflammation.
I don't want to confuse you with that. You know,
you hit the word inflammation. You think it's going to
be good for athritis. It's not. It's good for inflammation
like in the pancreas or the thyroid, or the liver,
(43:13):
or the kidneys or you know. But it's great for
the brain. And that's why I take it. So even
though it's good for the lungs, which I'm happy to
take it to support the strength of my lungs, it
is fantastic for the brain and older people really need it.
First of all, the brain is a super high energy
(43:35):
organ It uses up a tremendous amount of de calories
from each meal. The brain is only about two pounds dry,
but it uses up twenty percent of the energy from
each meal. So think about that. You weigh two hundred pounds,
your brain is two pounds, and so it's one percent
of your body weight, and it's using up twenty percent
(43:56):
of the energy from each meal. So it's a super
high energy organ. To get that energy to the brain,
it has to have this very reliable circulatory system, which
it does. The problem is the circulatory system starts to
fill you with age, the blood vessel walls thicken. It's
a natural process. It's not a good thing. But things
(44:16):
like exposure to pollution and bad foods and stuff alcohol
that I said, pollution that thickens the blood vessel walls
and it's harder for the blood vessel walls to respond
to the heart and get the blood into your brain.
So circulation to the brain generally declines between ten to
fourteen percent. So the first study I saw that made
(44:40):
me jump on the rest virtual bandwagon, I mean, I
believe me. I saw other studies about rest virtual where
it was a great antioxygen et cetera. But the thing
that really made me sit up and pay attention was
a study out of Germany. Berlin, Germany, the Max Planck
Institute University Hospital, and they took people in their seventies

and eighties and gave them rest viritual, And they were
using these super high quality, extremely sensitive equipment to monitor
engage the circulation of the blood to the brain like
functional MRIs. And they saw that when they gave rest virtual,

it's what we call vasoactive. It makes circulation better. When
they gave rest viitual to these aging people, more blood
was reaching the brain. Circulation to their brain improved dramatically.
As a consequence to that, parts of the brain that
had before been aging before rest Virtual, these parts of

the brain were aging, they started to become younger and healthier.
They responded to the improved circulation and a better supply
of oxygen and nutrition. So these parts of the brain
that were drying up and shrinking were all of a
sudden plumping up again and memory improved. Why because the

Cognitive function, you know, your ability to learn and retain

ability to know if you're sitting and standing or where

really suffering people like Alzheimer's disease. So when they gave
these people two hundred millionames are res virtual over a
six month period, circulation was restored to their aging brain.
The organs involved with memory and cognitive functions and figuring

They were becoming younger and healthier and stronger and plumping
up the way they should be, and the brain improved.
The function of the brain improved. Now, a different study,
the Reshaw study in Australia, one hundred women a year

on rest virtual. They all eventually wound up a year
on resartual. They all wound up being a year on placebo,
a fake bill, so fifty to them around res virtual,
fifty round placebo. Then they switched them around for the
second year and they found that resviritual restored circulation to

decline in circulation that you see in aging people and
