Speaker 2 (00:31):
Good morning, everybody, Happy Saturday. Welcome to another edition of
Invite Health Radio. I'll be your host. My name is
Jerry Hickey. I'm a pharmacist who's always specialized in nutrition.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
I just love it. Now.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
There are supplements that just have a huge amount of
research behind them, a great library of evidence, thousands and
thousands and thousands of people involved in starf from all
over the world that just prove these supplements are fantastic

(01:06):
for aging people, in fact, for any age group continuing
good health, living a successful life with a lot of
energy and vigor.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
One of them is ubiquin all.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Ubiquenol is the active version of coenzyon Q ten, which
tells you something. Coenzon q ten itself is not active.
It has to be converted to ubiquen woll and then
it gives you energy and power, and it's fantastic for
your heart and your endurance and helping alleviate fatigue and

(01:41):
very sickly people. So it does a lot for the
general population, but it also helps people who are frail.
And what happens, it goes back and forth thousands of
times per second. Co q ten has changed it too.
You bickwen ubiquinols changed back into coq ten and this

(02:03):
keeps on going this cycle, and that gives you energy,
that gives you the energy when you eat food. When
you have enough of this ubiquen all being created, you
have energy, you have power, you have endurance, and you
have heart and cardiovascular health. For the most part, it
is a deciding factor. There's enough research that in people

(02:25):
with weak hearts, ubiquinol is one of the things that
keeps them alive. There's studies in people with heart failure,
people have suffered massive heart attacks, people have had strokes.
There's plenty of data that if you have something wrong
with your heart, and of course you have to speak
this over, discuss this with your cardiologist. That's the proper

(02:46):
thing to do. That ubiquin all keeps you ticking like
that pink bunny in the ever Ready commercial. If they
still have that commercial, I don't know, but it was
on a million times on TV, so you know the commercial.
In any event, here's the study in young pe people.
It's one hundred German athletes. They were getting ready for
the summer Olympics and they gave them you beck when

(03:07):
all and it really boosted their power and their performance.
Now these are people like in their early twenties who
were at the peak of their physical health. So and
this was over a six week period and this was
both male and female athletes. But they've done a similar
study in weekend warriors, weekend athletes, people who are working

(03:30):
all the time and they go to the gyman the
weekend and that kind of thing, and they found the
same thing over a six week period, it improved their endurance.
In fact, here's a study of older people. But it's
an observational study. It's a cohort study that means a
large group of people, and they looked at a thousand
of these people and they found that in older people,

(03:51):
lacking you beck when all led to weakness, and having
U beck when all improve their strength. There's plenty of
data on this, and like I said, ubique all keeps
the heart ticking. So let's discuss the heart, because that's
my major motivation for recommending you biq one of the people.
So in general, many studies show ubiqu win all improves fatigue.

(04:15):
In general, many studies indicate that having sufficient ubiquenal on
your body helps prevent you from becoming frail as you
grow older, because frailty when you're older is terrible. All
those diseases pop into your life. Then there's plenty of
research that it improves your power, your endurance, your performance,
your physical performance.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
But let's talk about the heart.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
So if you look at data, there's data from journals
such as the Journal Nutrients or the Eternality American Medical
Association or Frontiers and Cardiovascular Medicine, looking at coke ten,
looking at ubique all, because if it's not converted to
ubiqmen al, it does you no good. And that's before
we go into talking about the heart, which U biq

(05:00):
one all. Let's discuss what it does and why I
prefer the ubiquenol version versus regular coqua ten You biq
one all allows you to take the calories from food
and convert it and release energy. So that's it, I mean,
that's everything. That's everything right there, So it's needed for life.

(05:21):
You do not exist with a ubiqu when all. It's
clear cut, and even plants have a version of ubique all,
even plants and mice and monkeys and everything else. But
we we are more advanced, of course. So ubiq one
all gives energy and power to things. And one of
the things that gives energy and power to is your heart.

(05:46):
Now why do I and we'll talk about this in
a second, but why do I prefer you biquin all
to Cohen's and Q ten. Some people have a real
hard time changing coke ten into ubiquen wal and you
have to do this thousands of times per second, so
they're really missing out. This includes all diabetics, virtually virtually
every diabetic. This includes muscle diseases, This includes some pain diseases,

(06:16):
and this includes heart diseases and high blood pressure, and
all aging people, aging people like myself. I'm seventy one,
I'm working on seventy two. Aging people like myself have
a really hard time changing coke ten into ubiquinal, just
like diabetics have trouble changing coke tent to ubiquinal. So
all diabetics really should take ubiquen wool, and people over

(06:38):
fifty five or sixty should all switch from coke ten
to ubiquin wal. You'll get a lot more out of it.
Coke ten is helpful, ubiquinal is massively more helpful. First
of all, older people absorb much more ubiquen wol than
they do coq ten. So when you take a coq
ten supplement, you only absorb a tiny amount. When you
take ubiquen wool, you absorb much more of it. Plus,

(07:03):
we use technology to improve the absorption even more. So,
if you're taking one hundred milligrams in co q ten,
you're only absorbing about three milligrams. If you're taking one
hundred milligrams or ubique will with our technology, you're absorbing
like sixty milligrams. That's a huge difference. Plus it's already
in the functional stage. It's already in the functional form.

(07:23):
That makes a big difference for your energy, your stamina,
your performance, your physical health, your strength, your endurance, and
your heart.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
So let's talk about the heart.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
They found out the amount of U bickwhenol in the heart,
like they take samples of the cells on the other
part of the heart. They found out you bickwinol levels
drop something like seventy percent in the heart. So that's
really a clear cut message that you need you bickwenroll
when you're over fifty five or sixty, especially if you
have a heart issue like high blood pressure or heart failure,

(07:54):
or you suffer with a heart attack or something else.
Because the heart is pumping blood, that's its job. It
has to pump blood about one hundred thousand times a
day or a little bit more than that for most people.
And if it doesn't have enough ubique all, it's hard
for it to make energy and do that beating. So
it's under stress. So it's much more likely to have

(08:14):
an arrhythmia or a heart attack or throw off a
blood clot or something bid going on. And there's many
studies that when you give older people ubiquinyl for an
extended period of time, the incidence of strokes and heart
attacks and heart failure is much lower, and they survive better.
They thrive, they have the energy to go outside and

(08:34):
be active and enjoy their life and see their friends,
et cetera, and do things. And it's not just survival,
it's also a quality of life. Your quality of life
is better on ubique. So when your heart, let's talk
about the heart pumping. Okay, So the heart needs energy
to begin with, because it's pumping one hundred thousand times
a day.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
So you have to put the ubiqronyl back in your heart.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Just like it needs minerals like coucium, magnesium and potassium
and salt and things like that. It also needs B
vitamins and it needs you bick one wall to pump properly.
All these things are important, but ubiq ONEO is outstandingly important.
So it's not just that the heart needs the energy.
So do your blood vessels. Because when the heart pumps,

(09:16):
the blood vessels have to respond to that and they
have to widen to make it easy for the blood
to flow up to your brain and to your muscles
and to your legs, et cetera. And it takes a
lot of energy for the blood vessels to pop open.
For instance, during exercise, let's say you're doing arm exercises,
or let's say you're taking a walk. Well, therefore your

(09:37):
arm muscles and your back muscles and chest muscles or
your leg muscles need more blood and more oxygen to function.
The heart has to pump to get that blood there,
so it's working harder, so it needs to ubick one
all for the pumping. But also the blood vessels need
a ubiq one all to pop open to get the
blood to the muscles. So it's a very important function

(09:57):
of u bick one wall to feed your muscles. Now,
a recent study plays exactly into this. They studied flow
mediated dilation. So what's flow mediated dilation. It's when the
heart pumps can the blood vessels respond to it and
pop open so blood flows more easily where it's needed to,

(10:18):
like your leg muscles or your arm muscles, or your
brain or whatever needs the blood.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
So they did.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
They found that giving people like one hundred milligrams a
ubiquen all a day over a two month period a
real meaningful improvement in blood flow and flow mediated dilation.
This is very important for older people like me. For
every one percent decrease in flow mediated dilation, there's about

(10:47):
a fifteen percent increased risk of having a stroke of
a heart attack. So by improving the ability of the
heart to pump and the blood vessels to snap open.
Just taking ubiquin all is reducing your risk of a
stroke or heart attack. And they've proven this even in
people with damaged hearts. They've shown them people with damaged hearts,
if they raised their ubiquinal level, they had a much

(11:09):
slower risk of having a heart attack or winding up
in the hospital.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
And they lived.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
It improved their chances of surviving by fifty percent, cut
back on their death rate by fifty percent, and people
were really damaged hearts. That's amazing, that's astounding. How come
you didn't see that on the news. You saw all
these all these advertisements for drugs, but you didn't see
anything about ubiquinal and keeping people alive in the hospital

(11:36):
with damaged hearts. This is a very important supplement for
people over the age of fifty five, for diabetics, and
also for people with diseases like fibromalogy, these muscular diseases,
these pain diseases. So diabetics and older people really need

(11:58):
to be on ubiquinal. Anybody who has damaged to the
heart needs to be a ubiquine. You'll survive better, you'll
thrive better. And in athletes, if you give a ubiquin All,
you improve their game. So our ubiquin All supplements are
all on special today. This is really important. If you
buy two bottles, you get fifty percent off suggested retail

(12:19):
and when we ship it to you, if it's thirty
dollars or more, we pay the shipping.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
Welcome back, Jerry Hickey, Invite Health, Nutritional pharmacist, licensed pharmacist.
Now I do this first half hour. Doctor Manda Williams
will do it the next single pour, just like you.
Bickuin will is incredibly important for diabetics or people with
heart problems, or aging people. Probiotics are very important for

(15:52):
aging people. They've studied probiotics on millions and millions and
tens of millions of humans, tens of millions of humans.
There's a vast library of positive studies on the health
benefits of probiotic bacteria. So here is one of those studies,

(16:14):
just showing you how incredibly important good bacteria are. Because
you have trillions of bacteria.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
They're all over you.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
They're on your cheeks, they're on your scalp, they're in
your urinary tract, they're in women's breasts, they're in your
digestive tract. They're all over the place. They're everywhere. They're
roll around you. So you want the good bacteria to
be in charge. You want them to vastly outnumber the
bacteria that damage you and then you stay healthy. In fact,
not only do you stay healthy, you literally get healthy.

(16:41):
Ue So by switching from bad bacteria to good bacteria,
you're health improved dramatically. So this is listen to this.
This is based on ninety four studies from forty two
countries and people up to one hundred and seven years
of age, So there's people in there in their twenties
and their thirties and their forties, right up to one
hundred and seven years of age. It's over thirty two

(17:03):
thousand gut samples looking at six hundred different type of bacteria.
And here's what they found. This is really important. It
just shows you how important bacteria are and what leads
to bad bacteria. Alcohol, smoking, pollution, having a lot of
belly fat, so obesity and overweight, diabetes, a bad diet

(17:26):
so you could be thin and have bad bacteria. All
of those things lead to a lot of bad bacteria
on you and in you. So here's what they found.
They found bad bacteria were more active in like certain
brain diseases, many inflammatory diseases, intestinal diseases, colon cancer, but

(17:47):
they also found prostate cancer and melanoma, which is a
very deadly skinned cancer. So bacteria are unbelievably important.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
I can tell you this.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
I'll put all of our probatics on special, the probatic
for women, which is good for their breast health, their
urinary tract, their vaginal health. So I'll put the women's
probiotic and the immune probiotic on special, which has some
vitamin D in it, along with special probatic bacteria for
the immune system, and our probatic h X.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
They're all on special.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
And I could tell you that they help you from
head to toe because the bacteria living in you are
on you and in you. From head to toe. You're
covered and you're a wash in bacteria. You want the
good ones to be in charge. And one thing you
cannot talk about when you talk about the gut and
bacteria is your immune system. So we're going to get

(18:41):
into that in just a minute. But I can tell
you this. If you start taking our probatic now, your
gut health will improve dramatically, very quickly, very rapidly. You'll
see it, you will see a change, you'll feel it changing,
and all of a sudden, you digestive tract will be
immensely more healthy, immensely more efficient, your energy will improve.

(19:06):
So our probatic bacteria have been proven in published clinical
trials human clinical trials published in medical journals. Our probatic
bacteria have been proven to help with lactose intolerance, food allergies, pollenalogies,
dorg and catalogies. That's part of the immune system. We'll
get into that in a minute, because the allergies are

(19:26):
the immune system gone wrong. So we'll get we'll discuss
that a little while. But when you're digestive tract swells,
they have to eat food. You know, some people get
all this bloating and they get gas. You know that's
kind of stinky or or diar rhere or constipation. Our
probiotic or even stomach cramps. Our probatics will address that

(19:47):
very rapidly, very quickly.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
You'll get better.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
And there's no milk, there's no wheat, there's no gluten,
there's nothing like that in our probatic bacteria. And all
these bacteria are alive, over eight and a half billion
bacteria that are all live in each capsule. And you
could take it with food. You don't have to refrigerate it.
This is an amazing supplement. So here's why bacteria.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
Are so important for your immune system.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
About approximately seventy percent of your immune cells reside in
your digestive tract, and it's important because things from the
outside into the body through the digestive tract. So when
you eat something that could be viruses, that could be mold,
there could be toxins and poisons and drug remnants and

(20:33):
all kinds of things in that food, You're digestive tract
has to be able to protect you from what's in
the food. So there is the bacteria in your intestines
that are meant to protect you from things.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
That are in your food.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Because you're inviting the outside environment directly into your body,
so you want good key players and the digestive tract
that defend you from infections. You're much less likely to
get food poisoning if you have a lot of good bacteria.
You're much less likely to get a cold, the flu covid,

(21:04):
any of those things, coronavirus, any of those things. You're
much less likely to get any of those things if
you have good bacterian your intestines because they almost immediately
reactivate your polymorphon nuclear leucocytes. Your most common cell in
the immune system is polymorphonuclear leucocytes. They're also called neutrophills.

(21:25):
They're the same cell, and they don't work in older people.
They work in young people.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
They're great.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
That's why it's harder for young people to get to
die from diseases because these these things attack every virus,
every bad bacteria. So when you have good bacteria in
the intestines that are in our probatic HX or our
probiotic immune you activate the polymorphon nuclear leucocytes, and you're

(21:52):
less likely to get sick from any virus or bacterial
infection or even yeast infections. But you're also activating natural
killer cells. You have natural killer cells, but they're not working.
Here's the problem. Natural killer cells fight a long fight
against infections so that you have enough time to create
anti bodies so the infection doesn't kill you or wind
you up in an emergency room in a hospital, so

(22:13):
it reactivates the natural killer cells. And also these cells
fight cancer. There's always a cancer cell floating around in
your body. These cells attack and kill it. It's like
a smart missile. They attack and kill the cancer cell.
So all the people these cells are not working well.
The natural killer cells, the probatic bacteria bring these cells back.

(22:37):
But you also need the probatic bacteria to absorb minerals.
Why when you eat good food with fiber in it,
like like like vegetables, like fruit, like whole grains, okay,
like beans, things like that, the bacteria feed on the
on the fiber and they create something called butyrate, And

(23:00):
buterrate has a bunch of jobs in the human body.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
It's very important.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
But rate is very strong in defending you from colon cancer.
That's why people with a bad diet and they lack
the healthy bacteria, they're more likely to develop colon cancer.
They're not creating buterrate. Buterrate takes bad cells and converts
them into healthy cells. But you also need buter rate
to absorb your minerals. See, minerals are normally absorbed from

(23:23):
the upper intestinal tract, but if they get past that
for whatever reason, buterrate assists their absorption from the colon.
So things like calcium and magnesium are absorbed from the
colon because of buterrate. So if you don't have healthy bacteria,
you're absorbing less of the minerals you're consuming. So buterrate
is needed to absorb minerals. Butrate is needed to help

(23:46):
prevent colon cancer. But it does another thing. Buterrate gets
into the bloodstream and defends your brain, which is crazy.
It's crazy. There's this thing. When you eat good food,
the bacteria take the fiber from the good food. So
you eat, you know, blueberries, or you eat a whole
grain or some beans or lettuce or whatever it is, broccoli.

(24:09):
The bacteria feed on these things and they create butyrate.
Some of the butyrate gets into your blood stream and
goes to your brain and repairs the blood brain barrier.
This is incredibly significant. This is incredibly significant. The blood
brain barrier is a coating on the blood vessels in
the brain so that things can't get from your blood

(24:32):
into the brain if it doesn't belong in there. You know,
if something bad gets out of the bloodstream into your
big toe, so what. But if something bad from your
bloodstream gets into the brain, it could kill you. So
you have this coating in the brain cells called a
blood brain barrier, and it's very smart. It lets good
things through and the blocks bad things. Problem is it
gets old and.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Leaky with age.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
The butyrate that good bacteria make get up to the brain,
repair the blood brain barrier, and keep bad things out
of the brain, which means it can help protect you
from Alzheimer's disease and other dementias and Parkinson's disease. These
things have a way of originating in the gut, so
if you're not creating the butyrate and not repairing the

(25:17):
blood brain barrier, bad things get into the brain and
they're chipping away at the health of the brain, and
little by little they're destroying different parts of the brain.
So in certain bad bacteria lacking good bacteria lacking butyrate,
you can develop Parkinson's disease, other bacteria, other types of
damage increases you auristdramatically of Alzheimer's disease. So it is

(25:41):
part and parcel are protecting your brain from dementia. Having
good bacteria creates but rate out of good foods, and
the buterrate some of it slips into the blood enough
to repair the brain and keep it working, repair the
blood brain barrier to keep the brain working. So that's
a very important point. So here's what you can expect
from our probiotics. If you take the probiotic for women,

(26:05):
it helps lower the risk of future urinary tract infections.
Because these bacteria will purify the urinary tract. It helps
prevent vaginal yeast infections. It takes time, but it builds
up in the vaginal tissue and helps prevent the yeast infections.
It gets into the breast and cleans the milk ducts out,
which lowers inflammation in the breast. You never want inflame

(26:26):
breast because this increases the risk of breast cancer. If
you have chronically inflamed breast from bad bacteria and increases
the risk of breast cancer. Plus, they can't get rid
of chemical estrogens, the chemical estrogens that they spray on food, okay,
that they add to our food. So the bad bacteriy
you can't break down the chemical estrogens, and too many
of these chemical estrogen in the breast are connected with

(26:47):
breast cancer. The good bacteria break down the chemical estrogens
in your breast and remove them. They detoxify your breast
tissue dit by lowering the risk of damage in the
breast and lowering the risk of breast cancer. You take
a probiotic for women. It's good for your breasts, it's
good for your vaginal tissue, it's good for the urinary tract.
The probiotic Immune if you need a boost, there's some

(27:07):
additional vitamin D in there. There's two thousand units and
you've got strains specific for the immune system.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
The probiotic eight checks. I take both.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
Some days I take probatic h checks, some days I
take probatic immune, and that's where I'm getting different bacteria
and different effects.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
The probiotic h checks.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Is our multi functional probiotic. You can expect it to
improve your digestion like gas panes, swelling at the belly,
lactose intolerance, but food allergies because it redirects the immune
system to ignore things that are not dangerous.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
And you'll see that youralergies get better.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Allergies to pollen allergies, to roses allergies, to cats and

Speaker 5 (29:48):
Welcome to Invite Health Radio.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
I am doctor Amanda Williams, Director of Science at Invite Health,
and I know that you just had the joy of
listening to Jerry Hickey talk all about ubiquinol and probiotics,
two very important things, and I will continue to talk.
I'm gonna talk a little bit about ubiquenol as well.
It's so critical that we recognize why we should be

(30:16):
supplementing with coenzyme q ten in that ubiquinyl form. Remember,
the body makes co q ten and as we get older,
our natural production of coenzyme q ten goes down. So
you can assess this through having a blood test done.
But let me just put this out there. Your doctor's

(30:37):
never going to test your co Q ten level, even
if you see a cardiologist. So this is something that
you really have to push for if you want to
know your blood level of coenzyme Q ten. But one
of the things that we clearly understand, as with many things,
as we grow older, the natural decline or the diminishing

(30:57):
rates of certain things. So just coenz i'm q ten
digestive enzymes as an example, start to kind of dwindle down.
So with this known fact, we know that by the
time we hit forty years old, we really need to
zero in on what types of dietary supplements we should

(31:17):
be taking, and co q ten ubiqwhen al happens to
be at that top list of supplements you should be using.
Now we have our wonderful ubiquhenol with NADH formulation. We
use conica, and conica is the most well studied out
of all coenz i'm q ten supplements that you can

(31:39):
be using. And Jerry had the brilliance many many years
ago to partner up our ubiquen al with NADH and
NADH is a vitamin B three substrate, and we know
the importance of our B vitamins. Clearly, B three in
particular is really when it comes to cholesterol transport and

(32:04):
cardiovascular health. So it would be very advantageous to be
using our ubiquinl with an ADH. We use KNICA because
we know that the absorption rate of this form of
ubiquenol is significantly higher than what you can find with
your standard run of the mill co Q ten that

(32:26):
maybe you find at a COSTCO as an example. So
supplementation with our ubiquenol is going to increase your baseline
ubiquenol much much greater. And the clinical research done on
KNICA has been happening for many decades now at this point,

(32:47):
and we know this is the only bioidentical form of
ubiquenl that you can supplement with. There's so many different
functionalities of Coen's on q ten. Initially, when they kind
of stumbled upon this many years ago and there was
you know, two researchers who actually won the Nobel Prize

(33:08):
for their discovery of coenz i q ten, they recognized
it in animal hearts, but they're like, well, I wonder
if this is in human hearts too, And sure enough,
yes it is.

Speaker 5 (33:17):
So it's this very powerful molecule.

Speaker 4 (33:19):
It possesses antioxidant benefits to it as well, which is
really important because it helps to protect your cholesterol from
becoming oxidized. We never want that to happen. What does
that actually mean, Well, when you have free radicals that
are attaching to your cholesterol, becomes very detrimental to your health.
So when using the Konica ubiquenol that we offer, and

(33:43):
it's partnered up with this NADH, we're getting this very
powerful one two punch.

Speaker 5 (33:47):
We also know that that NADH.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
Helps to facilitate a greater uptake of that ubiquenol into
the core of the cell, which is known as your mitochondria,
and that's where the ATP or a denison triphosphate is made.
That's what gives you that energy. So looking at all
of the scientific research through the years, the majority of

(34:10):
the research was initially had a heavy emphasis on cardiovascular health,
and you know, looking how it can protect the circulatory system,
protecting the aging heart muscles. And we know that in
the setting of say congestive heart failure, where you have
a weakening of those muscles, co Q ten levels are

(34:32):
next to none. And so when they supplement individuals who
have congestive heart failure with that Knica ubiquenal that we use,
they could start to see a significant improvement and a
shift of how that cardiac function was actually working. The
ejection fraction actually improved, meaning the amount of blood that

(34:53):
was able to push out of the heart out to
the tissues, which is important because that's what can.

Speaker 5 (34:57):
Give you that energy.

Speaker 4 (34:59):
So we we know this and the data is out
there and certainly incredibly impressive as to how that works.
But then you start to break down all of the
other ways to which co q ten in this ubiquenyl
form that we are using is helping to you know,
enhance exercise performance, even in those who are not you know,

(35:22):
quote unquote regular you know exercisers or people who are
you know, consider themselves to be athletic. You know, maybe
you're just out and you walk around your neighborhood and
that's your form of exercise. We can see how the
coenzyme Q ten really can make a difference when it
comes to increasing the energy that's driven to the muscles

(35:44):
so we have less fatigue and really provides the body
with more fuel for you know, prolonged walking. So this
is a great thing we anytime that we can increase
our cell energy production, we are doing a good thing
for ourselves because as the mitochondria that core of the

(36:05):
cell starts to get older, it becomes really it struggles,
let's put it that way. It struggles to do what
it is supposed to do, and this can lead to
a dysfunctional cell. So if we're looking at muscle cells
as an example, if those little mitochondria within the muscle

(36:26):
cells start to just have their their issues, they're aging issues,
and this could happen once you hit forty, So keep
this in mind. Then you're gonna start to feel those effects.
And oftentimes people chalk it up to normal aging, and
in a sense, that is a correct way to think
of it. But we know that we can combat this,

(36:48):
We know that we can offset this. We know that
with the daily use of UBIQUINL with NADH, we can
start to have this improved circulatory function, blood pressure regulation,
protection of our cholesterol. Of course, thinking of your brain,

(37:09):
this is a another key area. We know that that
ubiquenol that we use in our formulation can cross that
blood brain barrier and help to enhance cognitive function. So
many times when people are feeling those effects of aging,
kind of that low energy state, feeling a little cloudy brained,
not as sharp as you once used to. It is

(37:30):
remarkable how much of a difference that just adding in
the invite health ubiquenol with NADH can make. So these
are things just to keep in mind. There's been so
many interesting studies done with the kanica ubiquenol through the years,
and you know, looking at individuals who have been exposed to,

(37:54):
you know, certain chemicals, and at this point, I think
we should all realize we've all been exposed to chemicals
in our environment.

Speaker 5 (38:01):
It's not just you know, specific jobs, but.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
Clearly we know that there are many different careers out
there where the exposure to harsh chemicals is going to
be significantly greater than the average person. And so in
those settings and in those studies, it's really impressive to
see how just through ubiquin all supplementation each day you

(38:28):
could see how the levels of inflammation in the body
were starting to come down. So anytime we can regulate inflammation,
this is a good thing because we know that inflammating
so it's accelerated aging brought on because of inflammation is
not a good thing. And we can look at all
of the different chronic disease states that are out there

(38:50):
and recognize that they all have a common thread to them,
and that common thread is inflammation.

Speaker 5 (38:58):
So we want to be able to avert that. We
want to avoid that.

Speaker 4 (39:02):
We can see how in every single setting, if you
look at a diabetic or a pre diabetic and you
look at COQ ten serum blood levels, there's a direct correlation.
So if someone is a pre diabetic and they have
low COQ ten levels in their system, the likelihood that
they continue on that path to be a full fledged

(39:23):
diabetic is very high. And so this is why we
should just know in our minds, if I'm you know,
thirty forty years old, I need to be taking you
biquenol each day? Now how much should you take? That
can vary from one person to the next. And this
is where the advice of our wellness advisors can come

(39:43):
into play, and you can have a conversation with our
folks seven days a week.

Speaker 5 (39:48):
You can give us a call.

Speaker 4 (39:49):
You can certainly go to our website and sign up
for a day in time that works well for you,
and one of them will give you a call and
you can ask those questions you say, I'm I'm a
firefighter and I have concerns about my energy and the
chemical exposures that I am around, how much of the

(40:10):
ubiquenol with NAD eight should I be supplementing with each day,
and what time should I.

Speaker 5 (40:15):
Be taking this.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
Obviously, if you're on certain medications, then you need to
be very aware that coq ten levels can start to plummet.
Statons are the most well known, but we know that
the beta blocker drugs, so for blood pressure control, beta
blocker drugs all end in olol. So if you're sitting

(40:36):
there and you go, oh, yeah, I do take a
high blood pressure medication, I'm not sure what it is,
go grab your prescription bottle right now, and if it
ends in olol, like per Panel matroper law, if it
ends in olol, you know that every time you take
that pill, it's like taking a little hammer to your

(40:57):
natural co q ten production.

Speaker 5 (41:00):
So we don't want to do that.

Speaker 4 (41:01):
We don't want to beat down coq ten levels when
we know we're already up against it naturally just through
aging alone. So these are always things that you want
to be acutely aware of and have those conversations. If
you're dealing with high blood pressure or high cholesterol, then
you should be taking ubiquenal with NADH each day. We

(41:25):
know that COQ ten deficiency has this direct correlation when
it comes to metabolic syndrome and diabetes and fatty liver disease.
So it's a wonderful product to add in to your routine.
It is on special today, as Jerry mentioned, I will
mention as well, when you use that very important promo code, folks,

(41:49):
you're going to get an additional ten percent off. So
not only is the Ubiquenol with NADH already on a
discount because it's on a special today, but if you
use the promo code Amanda Woor, you'll get an additional
ten percent.

Speaker 5 (42:06):
Off and that's a great savings.

Speaker 4 (42:09):
Now, speaking of savings, I have many other products that
I want to talk about today that fall into that
category of a buy one, get one free, plus that
extra ten percent off with the promo code Amanda war
But I do want to just bring to your attention
because perhaps you're going to be going to our website
or maybe stopping by one of our stores, or if
you call in. I want to make you aware of

(42:30):
the fact that we are having a wonderful overstock sale
right now and we have certain items that are seventy
percent off and I would love for you to take
advantage of that. So if you go to our website
invitehealth dot com here and see that on our landing page,
the overstock sale is happening right now, so you can

(42:53):
take advantage of many of these different formulations. We have
our apple cider vinegar on the overstock sale. Remember, apple
cider vinegar great addition to your routine when it comes
to healthy digestion and to support healthy weight. We know
that apple cider vinegar can help to create this natural

(43:15):
thermogenesis or fat burning in the body. So that's a
nice thing to maybe consider adding on as you order
your ubiquenol today, is to get the apple cide or vinegar.
Because we have summer right around the corner. Sometimes this
is that time of year where people start to think
about going to the beach or to the pool, and

(43:36):
you're trying to get yourself fit.

Speaker 5 (43:37):
And in shape.

Speaker 4 (43:39):
Add in a couple of capsules of apple cider vinegar
every day and that can help you with fast tracking that.

Speaker 5 (43:45):
Anytime.

Speaker 4 (43:46):
We can kind of take a nutrient that can work
with our fat cells and goes in and talks to
the fat cells and say, hey, you're just kind of
hanging out there. We need you to skate on out
of here. This is what that apple cider vinegar helps
to do. It helps to create that natural fat burning

(44:07):
which for many people this is a big area of concern.
And we have folks who come in and say, you know,
I'd like to add a particular product to my daily
routine that maybe helps me with managing my weight easier.
I remember, when it comes to weight management, this is multimodal, folks.
You have to look at many different aspects in order

(44:30):
to have sustainable weight loss, and we have to look
at all of the different moving parts. Are there, you know,
underlying hormonal reasons as to why you're struggling with maintaining
healthy weight. So working with one of our wellness advisors
is your key to success with that because we can
help to identify areas where maybe you've overlooked in the past.

(44:54):
Maybe you fell short with trying a different diet or
an exercise routine and you're like, I did this, but
I didn't lose any weight. So having those conversations with
us can get you on the right path so that
you can actually achieve your weight loss goals and your
wellness goals, so I do.

Speaker 5 (45:10):
Need to squeeze in a quick break. When I get back.

Speaker 4 (45:13):
I have many other products that I would like to
discuss today, thinking about energy, why energy is important, but
also our immune system, because I always say, don't drop
the ball just because we're getting closer to the summertime.
We always want to make sure that our immune system
is strong and at the ready, because there's always viruses

(45:35):
out there and other little pesky pathogens that can be
kind of hanging around, and we don't want them hanging
around on us. So stick around with me.

Speaker 5 (45:44):
I will be right back just after this.

Speaker 4 (45:48):

(47:01):
Happy Saturday morning to everyone out there. I just gave
you a little insider tip that we're having an overstock sale,
so you can not only take advantage of today's radio specials,
which is a buy one, get one free plus ten

can also take advantage of select products that are on

(47:23):
our overstock, so do take advantage of that. That's all
supplies last. Now let's stay with U biquin all a
little bit longer because we have another formulation called Energy
HX and as the name implies, this is for energy
and it contains the knica you biquen all. Of course,

(47:46):
because we are not going to move off of that
because we know knica is the most well researched. It's
the only bioidentical form of co q ten that we
can take, and it is the most well studied and
prove it. We know if you're supplementing with coenzyme q ten,
if you come in to invite help put it this way,

(48:06):
and you had your blood level tested of coq ten,
you're like, oh my goodness, this is down in the dumps.
And you come into our location or you go to
our website, you order our ubiquenol, you start to supplement
with our ubiquenol. We know that when you go back
in and you retest your coq ten levels, you are
going to see that level increase. This is what we know.

(48:29):
This is why we use the Conica form of ubiquinal
So energy HX is your coq ten partnered up with
gen sing and this is a win win across the
board because when you start to really realize all of
the ways gin sing can help the body outside of

(48:52):
just you know, partnering up with the coq ten to
drive sell energy production in that form of ATP, we
can also see how gensing is working to support our mood.
It's supporting our GI tract, our microbiome, and the form
that we're using in the energy HX is you know,

(49:15):
intended for that maximum bioavailability. So we're using this wonderful
panics gensing in this formulation, so it works hand in
hand with the co q ten in this formulation. So
when you're taking it, not only are you going to

(49:36):
feel that difference, but you're going to start to really
recognize that across the board that your your stress response
has improved, your blood pressure levels. You can start to
see that improvement upon that blood sugar because we're really
gearing towards this systemic you know, targeted antioxidant benefit that

(49:59):
we yield from both that coq ten and the gen
sing in this so we're promoting a healthier inflammatory response
or remember we're trying to avoid accelerated aging, so through
taking the energy HX, this is what we are achieving.
We know that gensyng has been studied extensively and many

(50:23):
people have turned to it throughout you know, the years
for that particular purpose for energy. But now through all
of the different clinical studies that have been conducted with gensyng,
they can see it really is working as this powerful
adaptogenic herb. So it helps us with this natural ability

(50:43):
to manage stress. So we're taking the Energy HX. Now
can you take energyh X plus the ubiquenol and NADH.

Speaker 5 (50:51):
Of course you can.

Speaker 4 (50:53):
And you know, this might be something that you add
in in the afternoon. Maybe you take your ubiquenol with
NADH in the morning to set the tone for the day.
But then by you know, afternoon, you're saying, you know what,
maybe I am feeling like the stressors of the day
are starting to build up. Maybe my energy feels like
it's starting to diminish a little bit. Taking that Energy

(51:15):
HX at that point excellent choice. So that is on
special today as well. I also have the Oranges HX
on special. This is a go to for me. This
is one of my favorite powdered formulations that we offer
in our product line. This has so many different powerful carotenoids,

(51:38):
so it's great for you know, summertime. You know, as
you're going to be exposed to more and more sun,
we have to you know, protect not only our skin
but our eyes as well. And having the Oranges HX,
which gives you those you know, bright naturally bright folks,
UH pigmented fruits and vegetables, and that orange and yellow

(51:59):
and red category. This is going to give you a
higher amount of total carotenoid intake. We know carotenoids are
key to being able to protect our cells from UV
exposure and damage, and we also know that they're doing
many other things, so they're fighting off free radicals, they're

(52:19):
helping the brain with you know, neuroinflammation and toxins that
can be building up within our brain, so you get
that positive effect as well. But this is just such
a great formulation because it has other nutrients added in.
So if it was just the fruit and vegetable extracts alone,
that would be great, but we take it to the

(52:41):
next level. So in this formulation you are getting touring
very important amino acid. You're getting dimethyl glycine, which is
great because dimethyl glycine helps your liver produce additional amounts
of glut to thione. We need to have glutathione to
be able to properly detoxify each day, so we're helping

(53:04):
with liver detoxification just through taking our one scoop of
oranges HX. This also contains pan ex agency, so we're
getting that additional energy boost and it has anostol. Now,
anostol I always kind of describe this as being like
a unique little B vitamin that helps with the excitable

(53:26):
tissues in the body. It helps with neuron to neuron connections,
So your brain cells, we want them to be able
to communicate with one another, and we know that anocetol
does a really nice job in facilitating this. Anocetol is
also really important when it comes to blood sugar regulation.
So taking a scoop of Oranges HX, we're saying, oh, wow,

(53:49):
this is good for my brain, this is good for
my blood sugar, it's giving me energy, it's fighting free
radicals that I'm exposed to each and every single day.
And then you've got the touring.

Speaker 5 (54:00):
And touring is the.

Speaker 4 (54:01):
Most abundant of all of the intracellular amino acids in
the human body. And we know that touring levels are
very essential when it comes to cardiac function, and this
is why you even find touring in our CARDIOHX formulation

(54:21):
as an example. But taking it in the Oranges HX
and being that it's partnered alongside that dimethyl glycine and
the enocetol and all of those powerful carotenoids. It really
allows that touring to do what we need it to do,
which is to produce those cardiovascular and those neuroprotective properties

(54:45):
that we know touring contains. And we know that when
it comes to all of the functions of touring in
the body, the benefits are so wide spread. So you
start to look at the way that touring is working
even for proper mineral absorption. So say you're taking our

(55:05):
performance multivitamin or the Core multi vitamin, Well you add
in the oranges HX. You're getting that exposure to touring.
That's gonna help to enhance the utilization of those minerals
from your multi vitamin, and this is key.

Speaker 5 (55:20):
We also can look at.

Speaker 4 (55:22):
How touring plays a real important role in vision health.
It's always interesting when you look at vision health, no
pun intended there, but how many different players.

Speaker 5 (55:37):
Regulate proper visual acuity.

Speaker 4 (55:41):
And it's you know, outside of just crotenoids. We look
at vitamin C as being a player into this. Your
omega three fatty acids play a role into this. But
you know minerals zinc as an example, but touring as well,
So you can start to see how just taking a
scoop of oranges HX every day is giving you that

(56:05):
energy support. It's giving you support for your brain, for
your heart, for your muscles, for your eyes. All of
these things also really key when it comes to the
way in which we digest fats, because touring plays a
critical role when it comes to the way that the

(56:26):
bile is formed from the gallbladder. And so when we're
looking at even eating healthy fats as an example, some
people you know have struggles with that, trying to eat
nuts or eating seeds. These are just healthy fat examples,
or avocados. So having tourine can aid in that proper

(56:51):
digestion and absorption of those healthy fats because it's helping
with the facilitation of that bile productions board, whether it's
cognitive function, whether it's looking at the way in which
our brain cells can respond back from levels of damage.
And our brain cells can get damaged on a regular

(57:13):
basis just from you know, breathing the polluted air, just
daily stressors that can you know, do damage to the
brain cells. We talk about that neuroplasticity that's very important.
But we know that touring has a essential role into this.
So this is a great formulation to consider having on board.

(57:35):
The other reason why I like this one during this
time of year, and I'll just give you as an example.

Speaker 5 (57:40):
I looked up the.

Speaker 4 (57:40):
Weather today for here in South Florida, and I was like, oh,
my goodness, are you serious. We're not even to Memorial
Day and the temperature today in South Florida is supposed
to be around ninety degrees, but the feels like temperature
is supposed to be ninety nine because of the humidity.
So I can you know, guarantee you I'm not going

(58:02):
to be out and about in this heat, but that
doesn't mean I'm still not losing that you know fluid.
That dehydration can happen even if you're not you know,
doing a full bore, you know exercise. So these are
things to be cognizant about as you up there in
New York are getting ready to turn that corner into

(58:25):
the warmer temperatures, and you have to always recognize that
dehydration is a real thing. It's a real thing year round.
Americans are incredibly prone to being dehydrated. We don't do
a good job with our fluid intake. We can't look
at our fluid intake is going out to you know,
Starbucks and getting some coffee or well it's supposed to

(58:49):
be coffee, but it's got you know, whipped cream in
and everything else, and consider that to be a hydrating drink.
We can't look at drinking you know, pop or juices
as being hydrating drinks.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
They're not.

Speaker 4 (59:01):
So water is supposed to be, you know, the primary
thing that we're turning to. But when we look at
taking the Oranges HX, this is a nice way to
maintain healthy hydration status for yourself throughout the summer because
it's going to force you, because it is a powder,
to mix that with water, and so you're going to

(59:23):
be increasing your fluid intakes. So this is why for myself,
even down here in South Florida, I always kind of
switch up my routine based on our what I call
two seasons. We have a little mini winter and then
we have hot the rest of the time. So in
the summer months, I take multi energy powder for my
daily multi vitamin, but I also use formulations like the

(59:48):
Oranges HX because I want to make sure that I'm
getting all of these powerful antioxidants and vitamins and minerals
and nutrients such as tourine into my routine. But I
also want to stay hydrated, so that's a great one
to add on board. If you've got you know, little kids,
if you've got you know, adolescents, teenagers who are maybe

(01:00:09):
going to be doing a soccer camp or you know,
going off to a summer camp, they should be taking
Oranges HX. This is a much better choice than sending
them off with one of those weird sports drinks, which
are you know, they claim that they electrolyte balance and
all of this, but it's sugar water, folks. So using
the Oranges HX. This is great for the entire family.

(01:00:30):
And it's on sale today so it's a buy one,
get one free, plus you get that extra ten percent
off when you use the promo code Amanda wo R
So I challenge anyone out there try that Oranges HX.
If you do not love this product, please let me know,
because the first time I used it, I was like,
I know, this is not a placebo effect. I really

(01:00:53):
do feel much more energy and just a nice sense
of well being. So, you know, all of the nutrients
that you're getting from this, you know what's beneficial for
your skin, for your eyes, your brain, your heart, your muscles,
and beyond.

Speaker 5 (01:01:08):
So oranges HX.

Speaker 4 (01:01:09):

Invite Health Radio. Just talked about the oranges AHX getting

(01:02:29):
that touring.

Speaker 5 (01:02:30):
In that touring.

Speaker 4 (01:02:35):
I like anything that's on amino acids. I find amino
acid so interesting and it's funny. I'll talk to folks from.

Speaker 5 (01:02:41):
Time to time about this topic.

Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
And you know, I think that amino acids in a way,
we're kind of hijacked by, like the the workout industry
many many years ago, where people looked at, you know,
amino acids for you know, muscle building and you know, weightlifting.

Speaker 5 (01:02:59):
But amino acids.

Speaker 4 (01:03:00):
I mean, there's the reason why we have essential amino
acids in the body and all of the different ways
that those amino acids work. You know, you look at arginine.
What is arginine's role in the body, uh for you know,
helping to increase nitric oxide production for proper blood flow
and blood pressure. Look at lysine. Lysin definitely very important

(01:03:24):
for our immune defenses, but also so important for calcium
absorption from the foods that we're eating.

Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
Oh, here's an interesting little fun fact.

Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
I was reading through Jerry and I both read a
ton of different you know, clinical studies each week and
sometimes that we you know, we get together, we laugh
about some of them, were like, really they're they're making
the seam, like this is breaking news, and we've been
talking about this for for many.

Speaker 5 (01:03:52):
Many years.

Speaker 4 (01:03:52):
But there was an interesting study that came out of
Tufts University and it was published in the JAMA Journal,
So that's a journal of the Medical Association talking about
dietary carbohydrate intake and the quality of carbs. And they're like,
you know, now that we look at this, we really
think that, you know, people would be aging better if

(01:04:13):
they ate healthier carbs. What do they mean by that, Yeah,
eating some fruits and vegetables. So you know, it's great
that that came out, but we kind of know this clearly.
We know Americans don't eat enough fruits and vegetables. We
can see the direct correlation between low fiber intake and

(01:04:34):
all of these issues that are on the rise in
this country, from diabetes to fatty liver disease, arthritis, dementia,
all of these things that we know.

Speaker 5 (01:04:48):
Not enough fiber.

Speaker 4 (01:04:49):
People just think fiber and bottel movements, So we need
to kind of shift our focus away from that. Kind
of like amino acids. We can't just think, oh, amino
acids and muscle building. We have to look and say, oh, wait,
if we have low levels of touring, this can accelerate
the aging process. We know that touring is so important

(01:05:11):
for blood pressure regulation, for cholesterol regulation, to help the
body with the regulation of inflammation. So all of these
things are reasons why we look at a formulation like
the oranges HX and we say, yeah, that one, it
hit that one out of the park.

Speaker 5 (01:05:31):
Now let's shift our.

Speaker 4 (01:05:32):
Focus to the immune system because if we drop the ball,
as I mentioned on this during this time of year,
and this happens, and people will reach out to me
and say, how in the world do I have a
cold when it's May or June? Like, how is this
happening to me? Because a lot of times we focus

(01:05:54):
solely on our immune defenses during cold and flu season,
and then the weather starts to get nice and we're like, ah, yeah,
we're fine. That's not always the case. I'll use myself
as an example. A couple of times where I have
caught a cold has been in the summer, and that's
never fun. So it's never fun to have a cold period.

(01:06:17):
But this is why I am now so fortunate with
understanding what we can be doing. So you know, when
I lived in Michigan, and you know, I caught that
summertime cold a couple of times, I wasn't in this world.
I didn't know about nucleotides. I didn't know about mushrooms,

(01:06:39):
and you know how these could help with boosting up
my immune defenses. I know that you heard Jerry talking
about probiotic HX in the first half hour today, the
importance of probiotics when it comes to immune defenses and
the immune system regulation. But mushrooms and nucleotides are really

(01:06:59):
in important. I had someone I was at our store
in Foca just the other day and someone came in
and that's what she said. She goes, Oh gosh, you know,
someone came into my office and they were hacking and
coughing and grouping, and they said, oh no, no, one's
just allergy. She goes. And I kept thinking, oh no,
they sound sick. She goes, And then I woke up

(01:07:20):
and now I'm feeling a little off. I have the
scratch in the back of my throat. So she came in,
She's like, you know, should I just be taking vitamin C,
and I was like, well, yeah, you can add vitamin C,
but we need to get you on some high amounts
of nucleotides right now if we want to chase this
thing out. So she started with the probiotic immune formulation
plus the nucleotides. But when we look at how the

(01:07:43):
immunomodulatory that's a big word, But what does that mean?
How do we get the immune system to react in
a positive way with certain nutrients. And this is where
mushrooms comes into play. Mushrooms have become incredibly trendy in
the past couple of years.

Speaker 5 (01:08:03):
Everyone is all.

Speaker 4 (01:08:04):
Into, you know, understanding the effects of mushrooms. Mushrooms themselves
are very rich in beta glue cans. Beta glue cans
have natural anti viral properties and help to enhance the
white blood cells ability to fight.

Speaker 5 (01:08:21):
Off common pathogens.

Speaker 4 (01:08:24):
So when we're looking at you know, upper respiratory infections,
colds and flus, even seasonal allergies, we can see how
the beta glue cans help to avert that. And this
is where the mushroom HX that we offer can be
a really nice product to add in throughout the summertime.

(01:08:45):
It is a blend of eight different mushrooms, and each
one of those mushrooms have been individually studied for their
medicinal benefits. And when you're looking at the extensive amount
of research out there on mushrooms, I remember when I
got kind of heavy into mushroom research about yeah, ten

(01:09:09):
years ago, and I was like, Wow, there's actually like
a whole industry of scientists out there, and they do
like this annual health summit where they all get together
and they talk about all of their scientific findings on mushrooms.
Mushrooms do so much for the human body when it

(01:09:29):
comes to detoxification. I would say, if mushrooms can clean
a water like a river or a pond and remove
all of that clutter, then we know that they can
probably do a heck of a job when it comes
to cellular detoxification.

Speaker 5 (01:09:44):
And they do.

Speaker 4 (01:09:46):
But one of the it's claims to fame using any
of these mushroom extracts that we have within the mushroom
HX formulation is to enhance the immune defenses. And so
this product contains turkey tail, it has cordyceps mushrooms. There's
mataki in this shaitaki reshi chaga lions main.

Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
A lot of things become trendy.

Speaker 4 (01:10:10):
You'll see something on TikTok where everyone's talking about Lion's main.
But the science behind these different mushroom extracts in the
way in which they've been studied across many different markers
of human health, even when it comes to metabolic syndrome
and blood glucose regulation. How it is that the body

(01:10:31):
itself can take these mushrooms in and they get into
the bloodstream, and then how it's actually facilitating those different
actions through the power of the ergothianing predominantly that is
contained within those different mushrooms. So Ergothionine is a active
constituent found in mushrooms that really allows the immune system

(01:10:57):
to have this really powerful way to combat, like I said,
the common cold, the summertime cold. So this particular product
I turn to for a variety of different reasons. If
someone's dealing with seasonal allergies or you know, chronic bronchitis,

(01:11:17):
different things along that line. Then we turn to that
mushroom chax as being a nice add on formulation in
addition to you already taking one of the probiotics, whether
that's probiotic AHAX or that probiotic immune, and then we
look at the nucleotide complex. Nucleotides are the best thing

(01:11:38):
when we're looking at a way to quickly and effectively
combat something that is trying to attack our system. The
nucleotides are the actual nucleic acid. So when you think
of your DNA and your RNA, so that's deoxyribonucleic acid.

(01:12:00):
That is what is contained in the nucleotide complex, you're
getting the actual nucleic acids. And that's important because when
we look at cell division and we look at cell turnover,
we want our cells to have those powerful nucleic acids
to be able to protect us from any of those

(01:12:21):
harmful things like rhinoviruses. Just as an example, that's usually
the common thing that gets people in the summertime. It's
like a rhinovirus. So taking the nucleotides, it helps your
immune cells within the gut because number seventy percent of
your immune system is located within the intestines. It helps

(01:12:43):
those intestinal cells turn over quicker that you're producing a
higher amount of healthy cells. And so this is why
that nucleotide complex that we offer is so effective. So
if you feel like you're coming down with something. Taking
the nucleotides is the one of the quickest ways to
combat that. Now generally speaking, if you already feel like

(01:13:09):
something is you know, happening, you got that scratchy throat,
you just feel a little tired, a little off. You're like,
I feel like I'm coming down with something. You want
to take a much higher amount of those nucleotides right
from the right, from the jump, and you want to walk,
you know, walk through this with one of our wellness advisors,

(01:13:29):
Jerry and I both you know, will advise you know,
taking you know, maybe six or ten nucleotide complex capsules
a day for the first three days, and then after
that maybe scale back to you know, two or three
for the next couple of days. You want to really
promote that rapid immune system response. And that's why taking

(01:13:51):
that higher amount now you can take it every day too,
because we also know that those nucleotides are going to
help the body with energy productions. Remember today I'm kind
of focusing on energy and immune system. So taking nucleotie
complex on a daily basis, perhaps you go when you
work out, taking the nucleotides is a nice way to

(01:14:12):
have muscle recovery. And to increase that energy production once again.
So a lot of different uses for the nucleoti Complex
outside of just you know, trying to combat the common cold.
But working with one of our wellness advisors, that's going
to be your your best line of success when it
comes to how do I use this, what time of

(01:14:34):
day should I use it? How many should I be taking? So,
you know, do make sure that you stop by one
of our stores. We're open seven days a week. The
Nucleotie Complex and that Mushrooms HX are both on special today,
so or buy one, get one free, but if you

Speaker 5 (01:16:49):
Now, finally, I want.

Speaker 4 (01:16:52):
To talk about Shila Gi. So Shila Gi not only
is a fun thing to say, but it is packed
with just happiness. That's the best way to put shila
g because it's.

Speaker 5 (01:17:05):
Doing so many things.

Speaker 4 (01:17:08):
And our pure Shila Gi extract we source us right
from the Himalayan mountains and it contains a powerful amount
of trace minerals. We know that trace minerals are so
essential for so many aspects of self function each day.
When you look at trace minerals like chromium and vanadium,

(01:17:30):
you have to have those for blood glucose regulation as
an example, So taking the sila gee is a nice
way for blood glucose control. But our product is called
shila Gee fifty max. Now let me just spell this
out because sometimes I say it and maybe it's my
Michigan accent, but people will say, what in the world

(01:17:53):
were you saying today on the radio? So she la
gee and it is spelled h I L A j
I T so shila g. And our product is called
shila Gi fifty max. What is the fifty four? The

(01:18:14):
fifty means it has fifty percent fulvic acid in this
and this is its real true claim to fame, the
way in which that powerful antioxidant is working to support
the immune system energy levels. This is the predominant way
in which Shila GI has been studied is for energy

(01:18:38):
and energy across the board for you know, pre and
post workouts for sexual performance.

Speaker 5 (01:18:45):
We have seen the multitude of clinical research.

Speaker 4 (01:18:48):
Studies out there that really lead to the true benefit
that goes along with daily supplementation of shila G. And
when it comes to the immune system, this is another
area where shila G is incredibly impressive.

Speaker 5 (01:19:06):
We know that shila GI has that.

Speaker 4 (01:19:09):
Immuno modulatory benefit to it once again, so it can
help to boost your immune system and promote a very
quick recovery from you know, viral infection. So I was
just talking about summertime rhinoviruses and talking about using the nucleotides,
but adding in that shila G is a nice way

(01:19:30):
once again to give you that energy because most of
the time people feel sick, That's what they complain about
is well, yeah, I have a scratchy throat, or I
feel like I have a stuffed up nose, or I'm coughing,
But I feel really tired, and it's that lack of
energy that I think starts to get to most folks.

(01:19:50):
So we know that shila gi will help to boost
our cell's ability to produce additional or higher levels of at.
We know that it has not only these anti viral
properties to it and antimicrobial properties to it. There are
multiple studies out there that have shown this, but it's

(01:20:11):
also working in terms of having anti inflammatory properties. So
looking at the studies and in the Journal of Diabetes Research,
they assess the therapeutic effects of fulvic acid coming from
shilah G and chronic inflammatory diseases as well as diabetes

(01:20:34):
and looking at how that underlying inflammation is that driver
for worsening of those different conditions, and through the incorporation
of fulvic acid coming from that shila G, you could
start to see an improvement on all of these different
markers for inflammation and overall improvement for all of the

(01:20:55):
levels that you look at in a diabetic so fast
in glucose and sulin hemoglobin A one.

Speaker 5 (01:21:00):
See, this is why we look at shila gee. I say,
it just makes me happy because.

Speaker 4 (01:21:05):
It's doing so much for your body. Looking at it
in that setting of you know, maintaining healthy bone density.
It was studied and it was published in the Vital
Medicine Journal how it can actually reduce oxidative stress, inflammation.

Speaker 5 (01:21:24):
And bone loss.

Speaker 4 (01:21:25):
Because remember bone loss, we have to recognize that free
radicals damage the bones. Chronic inflammation damages the bones. So
they set this study up. It was a randomized, double blind,
placebo controlled trial, and they took a group of postmenopausal
women and they found that there was this accelerated level

(01:21:48):
of a bone loss that happens once estrogen levels start
to plummet down going through menopause.

Speaker 5 (01:21:55):
And this is a known fact.

Speaker 4 (01:21:56):
But they said, well, how can we use a antioxid
to fight off the effects of bone loss in these
women who are already dealing with the estrogen effect, so
they have low estrogen. It's creating a greater bone turnover.

Speaker 5 (01:22:12):
But what else can we be doing?

Speaker 4 (01:22:13):
Can we add in something? And in this particular study,
they found that daily supplementation with Shilaz supported bone mineral
density in these postmenopausal women who you know, when they
did the dexa scan showed that they had osteopenia. So
looking at that, for all of you women out there,

(01:22:33):
taking one capsule of our shila G fifty max each
day is a really great way for us to address
that potential bone loss. And it's giving you energy and
it's helping to give you all of those trace minerals
for blood sugar regulation. So it's just it's a win

(01:22:54):
win across the board. Now, what's also quite in t
when you you start to look at some of the
clinical research studies.

Speaker 5 (01:23:05):
On shila G. One that I think caught my eye.

Speaker 4 (01:23:12):
And I this is one of those areas once again
where when you look at clinical research trials and you say, wow, okay,
so this thing that comes from the Himalayan mountains actually
had an ability to affect hormone levels and men. Hmmm,
let's understand more about this. And this is how the

(01:23:34):
study was published and presented. So this was in the
Journal of Andrology. And they said pure shila G utilized
in men between the ages of forty five and fifty
five years old.

Speaker 5 (01:23:48):
So this is the study.

Speaker 4 (01:23:49):
It's a double blind, placable control trial. They were giving
them shila G. They had them take that shila G
for three months and then they looked at their TISTAS
strone levels. They're free testosterone, they're DHA levels, and they
could see an increase in those levels for those men

(01:24:10):
who are taking the Shilogy for.

Speaker 5 (01:24:12):
Just three months.

Speaker 4 (01:24:14):
So for men who are concerned with sexual performance and
loss of testosterone and maybe loss of muscle mass because
of that, here's a great option for you is taking
that Shila Gen. But this is also true for women
because testosterone levels and women are also important for you know,

(01:24:35):
maintaining libido. So taking the Shila G fifty max is
doing so much to support overall health. It also is
beneficial we're coming into summer, greater exposure to the sun
on the skin. It's also great for collagen synthesis, so
it's across the board. It's a win win when you're

(01:24:56):
using Shila G fifty Max. If you have questions for me,
please reach out A Williams at invitehealth dot com. Remember
to use that promo code Amanda wor and until.
