today right here, right now, Good morning, Happy Saturday, age,
(00:33):
every hickey here for Invite Health. And there's always an
honor and a privilege to be speaking with you.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Now. We do the best of the best in nutrition
as far as supplements, and that's what we're all about
Invite Health. So I want to talk about probiotics because
yet another study came out that they're great for your
brain if you get the correct strains of probiotic bacteria.
Not only aren't they great for the immune system and
helping you fight off a cold or flu to some
(01:01):
extent they do. They improve the immune system very quickly.
They affect the immune system in a very good way.
And also, of course everybody knows that probiotics are very
good for the digestive tract, for constipation, gasiness, bloating, diarrhere
to a degree, food allergies, absorption of nutrients such as minerals,
(01:22):
conditioning the intestines, and helping prevent from intestinal diseases. But
now there's been a lot of evidence emerging for a
number of years actually that certain straits of probiatic are
perfect for the brain. They're really good for the brain. See,
there's this gut brain axis. The brain affects the gut,
(01:42):
the gut affects the brain. So one of the strains
of probatic bacteria we have in the probatic HX is
called lectopus cillous rhamnosis, and we know it's immune enhancing,
we know it settles the digestive tract. We know it
does a lot of great things for your body. But
more and more data is coming out with this particular
(02:03):
strain for brain health. So these are patients what mild
cognitive impairment. Mild cognitive impairment. These people have true loss
of memory and judgment to a degree, and focus and
the ability to learn. So they're typically in their seventies
and over a twelve week period, this is a really
(02:24):
big win. These people have mild cognitive impairment. It really
aided their ability to concentrate, the focus, but also confusion
was getting cleared up, like their orientation remembering words improved,
delayed recall, Like if I gave you five words umbrella
or roller skates, whatever it might be, and in ten
(02:45):
minutes from now, I say one of those five words
that improved. It's in the journal Nutrients February fourteenth, so
Valentine's Day. And here's another strain in the probatic ahex
It's called by feetobacteria any mind by feeda Bacterium breviy.
They were a number of strains and what they found
is these strains enhanced cognitive function, like this particular one
(03:09):
by feeda Bacterium brevy it reduces inflammation in the brain. Now,
inflammation in the brain is a huge contributor to brain
diseases like Parkinson's disease and vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
It's called neuroinflammation. Diabetes causes neuroinflammation. Obesity, smoking, drinking alcohol,
(03:33):
and inhaling pollution from cars and trucks, et cetera. All
of that causes inflammation in the brain. All of that
causes neuroinflammation. So this is an analysis of seventeen studies
in the journal Nutrients, which is a very dependable journal.
The by Fetobacterium brevy reduced inflammation in the brain and
(03:53):
people with Alzheimer's disease, and they were able to think better,
their ability to learn, improved their ability to focus, improve
their ability to function independently. Now these are not people
would very advanced Alzheimer's. These are people with mild and
moderate Alzheimer's. But think if it could do that for
their brain, imagine what it can do for my brain
and your brain. This is why you take probiotic checks
(04:15):
every single day now. And patients with Parkinson's disease, which
is a brain disease that affects your movement, your breathing,
et cetera, and also leads to the second most common
form of dementia, Parkinson's dementia, and they had more structured
movement and once again, inflammation in their brain went down.
(04:35):
There's an awful lot to be said about a well
thought out probiotic. They will help your immune system. You
really should get fewer colds and if you catch the
fluid should be a lot weaker, a lot milder. In fact,
it really should help you. A good probiotic should really
help you fend off many, many infections because within a
(05:00):
of just two weeks, your natural killer cells are working better.
These are cells that we have in abundance as we're older,
but they don't work. Your neutral fills work better. So
it's literally improving your ability to get rid of toxins
with these cells. It's really improving your ability to defend
(05:21):
yourself from bacteria and viruses. It's literally improving your ability
to defend yourself from several cancers. I mean, this is
a good thing, and there's noteworthy studies. Of course, a digestion,
most people take a probatic for digestion, not realizing that
it's also benefiting their immune system and it's also benefiting
their brain. They don't realize they're getting those extra benefits.
(05:43):
But you realize it because you listen to good programming
on WOOR radio. Now, the other thing about probiotics. If
you get certain strains, I'll tell you the three strains involved.
Lack of basilis rhamnosis, lack of basillis plantarum and by
feedo back Terium animolus subspecies lactice. They also improve your allergies.
(06:04):
So if your prono allergies in the spring and the fall,
in the summer or whatever, or food allergies, this over
time chips away your allergies and your allergies and they
become weaker and weaker and less of a problem over time.
So the first product we have on special is Probiotic JAX.
Now let me say this. If you use a certain code,
(06:25):
you get an extra ten percent off anything you purchase
an invite. That's the invite label, which is what they sell. Basically,
it's what they sell. So whatever I speak about on
this show, like the Probatic HX, you buy one bottle,
you get the second bottle free. You get fifty percent off.
(06:47):
It's called a bogo buy one, get one free. And
so you buy two bottles of the Probatic HJAX and
you get fifty percent off suggested retail. Or you can
put another way. You buy one bottle of just in retail,
you get second bottle free, same deal. But if you
add this code, which is really simple, it's just my
(07:08):
name and the radio station, then you get an extra
ten percent. So use this code. Make sure when you
place an order you used this code. It's really important.
Ten percent that's good savings. I mean, if it was
a twenty dollars product, you're getting an extra two dollars off.
So it's Jerry. My name Jerry WR which is the
(07:29):
radio station Jerry wor so Probatic HX is the first
product on Special today. Now I do a lot of
different exercises. For instance, we have two stories in this house,
so I run up and down the stairs typically ten
to fifteen times a day. I don't do it all
at once. I'm seventy one, give me a break. So
(07:49):
I'll run up and down the stairs three times, and
then a couple hours later, I'll run up and down
the stairs three more times, and then a couple hours later,
maybe three more times. So by the time I'm finished
just with going up and down the stairs with laundry
or going to brush my teeth or whatever it is,
I typically wind up going up and down the stairs
fifteen times a day, which is really good. That's great exercise.
(08:11):
Then I do balance exercises. I showed my wife them.
She loves them. It really makes a difference. Leg strengthening
and strengthening your core, you know, like your lower back
and your abdomen and your hips, et cetera, and your pelvis.
And I love the walk, so I do a lot
of walking. I have a recombinant bike. I ride my
(08:33):
bike inside one of my bedrooms. I have a bike.
I go in there, I put the lamp on, and
I read a great book. I love that, or I
read studies. I'd rather read the book when I'm on
the bike. And the other thing I do is I
lift weights. So these are typically what gets me through
the winter, because in the summer you can add kayaking
(08:54):
and hiking. I like the hike, so I lift weights.
I lift weights every other typically three times a week.
And immediately after lifting the weights, I load this up.
Before I lift the weights, I put in active HX,
I put in creatine monohydrate, and I put in collagen powder.
(09:18):
Because I'm rebuilding my entire body with those three things.
So active HX is HMB. It's the one used in
human clinical trials by the military and by all these universities,
et cetera. Because it's great for their athletes, and it's
great for our super soldiers like the Green Berets and
Army Rangers and Navy season wall So they're doing a
lot of research on HMB hydroxymethyl butyrate. You know when
(09:43):
you take the branch chain amino acids, lucing isolucin and veiling,
you take those in the hopes of making this stuff.
So this is actually the stuff that benefits your muscle,
and you better believe. I take active which is the
research level, research quality, very pure, very fresh HMB hydroxymethyl
(10:06):
butter it. Now, this is a rather severe study. It's
a rather complex study. So if it benefits these people,
you can imagine how it's going to benefit you. It's
the Journal of Cockexia, Cyclopenia and Muscle Soxia CYCLOPEDIA. Kotexia
(10:29):
is when you lose muscle from a disease like cancer.
Cyclopedia is when you lose muscle and strength because you're aging.
So these are researchers in England, Texas, A and M
University in Texas, researches in Ohio, researchers in Canada. So
it's a lot of top notch researchers here and they're
(10:51):
looking at cancer patients. Because cancer cannibalizes your muscle. Cancer
it's called cockexia. You release something called tomnicrosis factor alpha
that causes severe inflammation and you lose your body weight
and it just and a lot of people die because
of that because they just waste away in their immune
system isn't functioning or anything. So these are fifteen human
clinical trials of patients with cancer. HMB improved their muscle
(11:17):
mass and their muscle strength, and it helped reduce hospitalizations
in cancer patients because they were sturdier and made them stronger.
If you're strong, you know how many times have you heard,
like on a TV show where someone said to you,
somebody got hurt in and the doctor says, don't worry,
he's strong. Being strong matters. Being strong matters. It's survival,
(11:41):
it's doing good in life. It's enjoying your life. It's
preventing falls and head fractures and hitting your head. Being
strong matters. So in cancer patients that were suffering with cackexia,
these are nasty cancers, right, they're eating away their body.
That HMB increased their muscle mass and increase their muscle strength.
(12:01):
It helped reduced hospitalizations because these people were stronger, but
it helped improve their survival. And in these studies in
these trials, it did not interfere with their cancer treatment.
But that's not my point. It's not my point. I
don't treat cancer. That's up to an oncologist and oncological nurse,
(12:24):
somebody who keeps tracking the cancer patient all the time.
What I'm getting at is, if you're older and you're
losing muscle, which all of us do. You hit sixty
sixty five, you're losing muscle. It's just the way it is.
It's just the way the body is designed. You need
to be on this stuff. You need to have active
HX or a suitable replacement for it, which is not
(12:47):
easy to find because we lose a lot of strength
and muscle as we go. Rolled up, I feel very strong.
Oh I forgot. I do push ups all the time.
I'm up to fifty push ups five days a week.
I love to do them. I feel so tight when
I do them, and I feel good and I'm looking
good in my T shirts. I'm not kidding you. So
(13:13):
I'm doing push ups too, and I take if I
do the push ups or if I lift the weights,
I do the uh I do. I do the active
at checks. So basically I'm doing it every day. Because
you know, I'm doing push ups five days a week,
I'm lifting weights three days a week, so it's every day.
So this is the UH the Journal of Strength Conditioning Research,
(13:36):
because it's important. It's important to be strong. Being strong
is not just about looking nice and being attractive. Being
strong is being young, it's being healthy. It's being able
to get out and enjoy your life and and and
and not get hurt, not not fall easily. I mean,
these things are so important. And by the way, I
(13:58):
know I'm talking about strength here, but strength matters what's
falling too. And I recommend that all of you, if
you're not doing it already, learn some easy balance exercises.
They're easy to do and they're so important. Like I
could stand I don't. I usually only do it for
(14:19):
thirty seconds. I could stand on either leg easily for
thirty seconds. I don't go beyond that. Probably should try,
but I could stand on either leg for thirty seconds,
which is good. I think that's probably pretty good. And
that's at the first to second try. I mean, if
you try three or four times, you get better with
each try, so I'm sure I could do better, but
I can actually on one leg hop around turn around,
(14:43):
do all kinds of crazy things. I could stand on
one leg and bend my other leg and bend over.
All of those things are so important for your bounce.
Doesn't mean you have to do that, but you really
should get some kind of exercise for your balance. So
this is the Journal of Strength Conditioning and it's last April,
and it's eleven studies with healthy people and h the
(15:08):
stuff I'm talking about now, Active HX truly improved their
physical performance. It truly improved their physical performance by sixty
two percent, It improved their endurance by sixty two percent,
and it improved their VO two max by seventy five percent.
(15:28):
I want to talk about this. We have to go
to a break. I want to talk about this when
I get back. Now, don't forget all of these products.
The Active HX, the collagen, the CREATEAM and the Probatic HX.
They're all. You buy one at suggested retailer, you get
the second bottle free. So you buy one, you get
one free, and if you use this code you get
(15:51):
an extra ten percent off. Jerry my name Jerry j

Why wouldn't you want that? Now, let's go to a break.
I'll be right back.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Okay, welcome back, Happy Saturday. Jerry Hicky here for invite health.
Now we're talking about active HX, which is research quality HMB.
HMB is the best thing you could take for your
strength and your muscle. Now, let me tell you three
things that really tell how strong and how old you are,
well kind of shape you're in. Three things that really
(17:30):
matter for your survival and for you not falling and
getting hurt. One is your ability to stand on one
leg at a time, So standing on the left foot,
standing on the right foot. That's one way to judge
if somebody is healthy physically. A second way is the
grip strength to hand grip strength. The third way is
the VO two max, which might be the most important
(17:51):
measure of aging. VO two max basically is your lung
health when you're exercising or walking up the stairs, et cetera.
You know, like you see some people walk up a
flight of stairs and they're uffing in puff, puffing in
their face turns red. That's not good. Okay, that is
not good. So in this study, actually in a review
of eleven studies, when they added up when they talent
(18:14):
all the info, and people who are older who are
exercising the active HX improved their VO two match, their
lung health, their long strength by seventy five percent. That's crazy.
That is nuts. I mean that is nuts in a really, really,
really good way. Now, so active HX. I take a scoop.
(18:37):
I set up, I have an invite shaker. I put
in a scoop of creatine monohydrate. I put in a
scoop of collagen powder, and I put in two tiny scoops.
Because they're tiny of the active HX. But they're tiny scoops.
We couldn't get a scoop that was one scoop because
we couldn't get the right size. We had to use
these little scoops. So two little scoops. That gives you
(18:58):
the dosage of activator. So I exercise, whether it's pumping iron,
lifting weights, or doing the pushups. Right after it, I
filled out with water and I drink it, and I'm
telling you feel great now. The second product is creatine
monohydrate in my little mixture. Now, creatine is well known
(19:21):
for muscle strength. I mean athletes, really elite athletes take
the creatine for strength and endurance. And to regas up
their muscles. They put fuel back into their muscles. The
creatine puts the fuel back into your muscles, so they're
not like well strung out and shaking and everything. But
(19:42):
we also know that creatine is great for the brain,
and I'll go into a couple of those studies creatine
in the brain. But more and more research is coming
at that creatine is great for your bones, which makes sense.
There's a very famous doctor, doctor Kendaw. He's at the Aging,
Muscle and Bone Health Lab at the University of Regia
(20:02):
in Canada. This guy is like the world authority on
creatine monohydrate, doctor Kendaw. I believe his name is Kendall.
And he said, there is fifteen studies that if you
add creatine to exercise, it builds stronger bones than if
you do to creatine, I mean if you do the
exercise only. So it is fifteen studies that if you
(20:25):
exercise it's good for your bone. But if you exercise
and you take creatine, it's even better for your bone.
You build strong of bone. Now the studies show that
creatine is preventing bone loss in your hips. That's great.
Who wants a broken hip? I have a friend who
broke his hip twice and he went through terrible, terrible time. Well,
(20:47):
the amount of physical therapy, the pain, just all these things.
The surgery is just terrible. Now he's on blood thinners.
You know that's always a pain in the neck balancing
your blood thinners. So I told him one of the
reasons he has bad bones is he's diabetic. Diabet You
(21:09):
might not notice if you're diabetic, but diabetes hollows at
your bones. Your bones become like Swiss cheese. Diabetes hollows
at your bones. But I told this guy there are
things you need to take for your bones. He doesn't listen.
He knows everything, but you know, he's still a friend.
But the studies show that the creatine blocks bone less
(21:33):
and the hips. It keeps your bones strong, they're less
likely to break, and it prevents your bones from breaking down.
So I mean, there's good data on this. This is real.
By the way, creatine gives brain energy. I don't know
if you're familiar with that. Creatine monohydric gives your brain energy.
(21:55):
Like if you had a poor knight's sleep, you had
a terrible night's sleep, where like you had a big,
haughty last night, you were at a wedding and probably
had two drinks, and you're tired this morning. You take
creatine because your brain a boost at boosts your memory.
There's a lot of studies creatines good for your memmy
A boosts brain energy. I'm an older guy. I take
(22:16):
the creatine after exercise because I know it's good for
my bones. I know it's good for recharging my muscles,
but I also know it gives me brain energy. I'm
seventy one. My brain is as energetic as any of
my kids and my daughter in laws. My brain. I'm
telling you, it's stuff like this that makes the difference.
(22:40):
So the creatine. I feel like sitting on the couch
because you're tired. Your body isn't tired, it's your brain
that's tired. Take a scoop of creatine or two scoops.
It won't hurt you. Creatine is very safe. Take two
scoops of creatine. You'll see the brain energy, especially after
the second or third day of doing that. I tell
people to use it after jet lag. I tell people
will work a lot of hours. Like one of my
(23:01):
sons manages a whole bunch of medical journals in Germany,
and the United States and Japan. He works like a lunatic.
I give him creatine to give him energy for work
so he could focus longer. Does he take it? Who knows?
He's a he's thirty year old. The thirty year olds
think that you know they're invincible. But but I give
(23:23):
it to him. As a matter of fact, he hasn't
asked me for a second charge, so I wouldn't if
he's taking it. But you know, you know about creatine
for the athletics, for getting stronger and faster and better
performance and getting your muscles recharged. I'm telling you it's
also good for your bones. It's also good for your brain.
So let's see if I have some brain studies here. Okay,
(23:44):
here's the journal Nutrients. It's Texas A and M University,
and a bunch of academic research institutions in Germany. But
it's Texas A and M University. Creating helps protect the
brain during periods of a skis what eschemia means a
(24:04):
lack of blood flow. In other words, they're talking about
a stroke. If you have enough creatine in your brain,
and god forbid you had a stroke, you're less likely
to kill off as many brain cells, you won't hurt
your brain as much. But also an injury like you
hit your head, like you're playing soccer and you hit
the soccer ball with your head, or you fall down
the stairs, you hit your head. It protects the energy
(24:28):
producing cells inside the brain, the mitochondria, the energy producing
little vacuos inside the brain, and it maintains your brain energy. Now,
this is the Department in Neurology, University of Kansas Medical Center,
but also the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at the University
of Kansas. It's in the journal Nutrition. Oh, I'm sorry,
(24:51):
Current Developments and Nutrition. I had my finger over the name.
Maybe I need this. Alzheimer's disease affects oh Man, so
many older Americans. And the research from Texas A and
M and these other places, the Department of Neurology, University
of Kansas Medical Center is saying that problems with brain
(25:14):
energy really increase the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. There's
a creating creatine system in the brain, the creatine system.
You create phospho creatine out of creatine. You create phospho creatine,
and a phospho creatine allows you to release energy. It
(25:35):
gives you something called atp and it keeps recharging it,
it recycles it. So they said that in Alzheimer's disease,
the creating system in the brain is disrupted, and giving
a supplement of creatine recharges the brain. It brings the
brain back. Now I have a whole bunch of other studies.
(25:57):
Let me just read this one. This is the journal Nutrients.
It's researchers in Pennsylvania, a bunch of places in Pennsylvania
over like in mechanics Burg, Pa, et cetera, and US people.
Creatine assists cognitive processing. In other words, when I tell
you something, putting that in your brain in a good manner,
(26:19):
in an organized fashion, general brain energy, recovery of the
brain after injury, increasing cognitive processing speed in older people.
In other words, when I take my creatine every day,
my brain works faster, increasing cognitive processing, and patients with
(26:42):
Alzheimer's increasing cognitive processing, and patients with depression. I think, okay,
his last one, because this kind of hits the ball
out of the ballpark in a baseball game. It's nutrition review.
University of Liverpool Imperial College London is a great research institutions.
(27:02):
And the Canadian Research Institution, and I said, the brain, Well,
I'm just paraphrasing. The brain requires a lot of energy.
Eight human clinical trials in a meta analysis or review
of age studies creating improved memory in people, especially in
US older people. And it was absolutely safe. I'm telling you,
(27:25):
Although I take the creatine after I exercise with the
active HX. The activatehx's for my muscles and my strength.
The creatine is from my muscles and strength, but it's
also from my brain and my bones. It really makes
a difference. The last thing that's on special. I'm running
out of time, so I really can't go into the
studies is our collagen products. We have two collagen powders,
(27:46):
we have collagen tablets, and we have collagen gummies. They're
all on special. So collagen is the number two ingredient
in the human body. After fluids. Fluids like water is
numbers one. Number two is collagen. You're made out of collagen,
and collagen makes your skin, your hair, your nails, thirty
(28:11):
five percent of your bone. It makes you joint cartilage
so your joints work. It makes you spinal tissue, It
makes the valves in your heart the filters and your kidneys.
It makes your brain tissue. It makes the barrier that
protects your brain called the blood brain barer, so collegent.
It makes you blood vessel walls. So problem is, as
we grow older, we make less and less collagen. You
(28:33):
put collagen back in the body. You're doing better. Okay,
Those of what's on special probatic HX active HX our
collagen products are creating amuntohydrate. Use the code Jerry wor
to get an extra ten percent. So everything's fifty percent
of suggested retail on two bottles. Say Jerry wr get
an extra ten percent. God bless, have a great day.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
Now, Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am
doctor Amanda Williams, Director of Science at Invite Health, and
happy Saturday morning to everyone out there. I know you
(30:27):
just had the pleasure of listening to Jerry Hickey talk
about multiple different products that are on special and I
am going to continue that trend and talk about many
of our formulations today. I thought I would just list
off oftentimes at the end of the show, I list
off the products that are on special, but sometimes I
(30:50):
don't get to all of those, so I thought I
would just start the show today and let you know
what's on special. I have the Performance Multi Vitamin on special,
the Krill Oil Advanced, the Resvertral Max HX is on special,
the reds HX, the Greens HX, and our Ubiquin all's
(31:12):
so that's the coenz on Q ten, both the NADH
as well as our sixty milligram, so those are all
on special. I will talk about those throughout today's show.
Big news, Uh, we're gonna be springing forward. That's really exciting.
This was always one of my favorite times of year
(31:34):
when I lived up in Michigan. I love to have
that extra hour of daylight. So no excuses. That means
you have an extra hour starting tomorrow, the youn go
out and you can exercise, maybe go take a walk.
I know it's still a little brisk out there, but
that's okay. The key thing is is that we need
(31:55):
to focus in on the fact that March is National
Nutrition Month, and this is a big topic obviously for
us at Invite Health because we understand that when it
comes to wellness, we have to look at the full
spectrum of what that includes, and nutrition is clearly the
(32:19):
main driving force to that. When you look at preventable diseases.
Nutrition is such a major player in that. I frequently
go back and discuss different studies that have been conducted
kind of surveys where they assess the training as well
(32:41):
as the knowledge of medical doctors and medical students when
it comes to nutrition. We know they do not know nutrition.
I always use myself as that example. When I was
in medical school, we didn't cover nutrition. So this is
(33:01):
still the trend today. So I often say to people
when you are having questions, is you know what should
I be doing when it comes to the foods that
I'm eating? Which supplements do I take? This is why
you want to come to Invite Health and have those
conversations with one of our nutritional experts, because this is
all that we do, not just for the month of
(33:23):
March being that it is National Nutrition Month, but every
single day we understand the power of foods. I always say,
lot foods be thy medicine. We go back to Hippocrates
on that. But we have to do better as a
nation when it comes to really understanding and deciphering how
(33:47):
it is that foods impact our health. We know that
diet related diseases, they're the number one cause of death
in the United States. And there was a really fascinating
study that came out. Well, there's been many of them,
but this one happened to come from University of North Dakota.
(34:08):
So I thought we'd give a little shout out to
those who live in North Dakota because I just don't
think that, you know, we focus on that state enough.
So they did a interesting assessment over at University of
North Dakota looking at the lack thereof training and education
(34:29):
on nutrition. And since this is National Nutrition Month, I thought,
let's just talk about this a little bit. We know
that there is the US Committee on Nutrition and Medical
Education and their goals that they have set for all
medical students in medical schools throughout the country, so both
(34:51):
allopathic as well as osteopathic medicine. So when you're thinking
of mds as well as doos, you're suppose to be
getting twenty five hours a measly twenty five hours of
nutrition education throughout the course of your training, which is
(35:12):
four years, and then you have your post grad so
then when you go into residency, you should still be
getting nutrition training. Unfortunately, we know that this is not
the case, and we can see based on those surveys
and analysis that you're not even scratching the surface for
(35:34):
what doctors and training as well as practicing doctors are
being exposed to or learning when it comes to nutrition.
So we go back to the to the matain topic
of if diet is the number one driving cause of
diseases that are preventable with dietary changes, why is it
(35:55):
that doctors are not learning this. I think back in
twenty fifteen, so ten years ago, they looked and they said,
you know, not even twenty percent of medical schools are
even coming close to getting to that twenty five hours
of nutrition education training throughout the course of the curriculum.
(36:18):
So that's quite alarming. They did a little mock testing
of medical students and you know, out of the medical
students that were part of this test, they had fifty
five percent of them said oh, yeah, yeah, I know,
nutrition not a problem. This is going to be a breeze.
I can do this. They gave them the quiz and
(36:39):
more than half of them failed. So this is why
I always reinforce the fact that when we're looking at wellness,
We have to look at nutrition being at the you know,
the primary focus of that. So when you come in
to invite health, this is what's very unique to what
we do. We have an incredible line of dietary supplements
(37:04):
that are all based on that science and research. But
it's the added support that we give you when it
comes to the comprehensive way to approach any disease state
that perhaps you're dealing with, or maybe you're just on
your own wellness journey and you just want to eat
(37:24):
healthier and you want to figure out how to get
better sleep, have more energy, or having you know, springing
forward getting that extra hour. Are you seeking out a
way to feel more peppy, have more energy each and
every single day. So the nutrients that I have on
special today, including that performance multivitamin, the Red's AcHx, the
(37:47):
greens Achex. Of course you bick when all coenzyme Q
ten all work to increase sell energy production. Now they're
all doing this in different you know mechanisms. If you
look at a product like the red Zchax or the
greens Achex, we're looking at the cellular support via antioxidants
(38:09):
and vitamins and minerals that help to facilitate better function
in our bodies each and every single day. That's why
when someone starts to use a scoop of the greens
AcHx each day or the red Zchx, you know, within
the first week they you know, come back and say, wow,
you know, I really do. I feel a overall sense
of well being. And I don't think this is a placebo.
(38:32):
I really I take my red Zchex in the morning
and within a couple of hours, I just feel more energy.
And we understand why this is happening on the scientific
side of what we do at Invite Health, But for you,
this is the real feeling that you get when you
are getting the exposure to close to forty fruits and
(38:55):
vegetables and different herbal extracts and that wonderful probiotic blend.
And that can also be very helpful as we're transitioning
into the next season here, going from winter into spring,
and for many folks who deal perhaps with seasonal allergies,
and I know even down here in South Florida this
(39:16):
week in particular, the tree pollens as well as grass
pollens have been moderate to high, so you see a
lot of folks down here in South Florida that are
kind of running around, you know, sneezing and coughing and
feeling a little bit more congested. So with the action
of a product like the Red's Ahax or the greens Achex,
(39:39):
this is a great way to get those healthy probiotics
into the system. We know the power of those bacteria
and our microbiome and why we need to focus on
that not just during cold and flu season. We have
to understand that that two to four pounds of bacteria
that we carry around with us each and every single day.
(40:01):
That's each and every single day, so all year round,
we want to make sure that we are enhancing our
microbiome or that bacterial or environment. Why because this affects
every aspect of our health, from our mood every day
to our digestive health for bowel regularity obviously, for our
(40:25):
immune system, but the way in which our body detoxifies.
And we know that there are many different pollutants that
are out there in our environment that can impact our
overall health. So through the action of taking a powerful formulation,
whether that be red Zhax or greens or heck, you
(40:48):
can just combine the two and a lot of folks
like to do that, especially if they're making maybe like
a fruit smoothie in the morning, they'll take a scoop
of their red zhax put that in to their blender.
They'll also take a scoop of the greens HX. Greens
is interesting in its own way because it has the
added nutrients of clorilla and spiralina. Both chlorlla and spirollina
(41:14):
have kind of like their own superfood component to them
because they are packed with so many nutrients just in
and of themselves. So if you're supplementing with the greens
HX and you're getting this wonderful amount of chlorala and spirillina,
which have their own vitamins and minerals and antioxidants, this
(41:39):
is what helps to really facilitate that heightened amount of
daily detoxification. And we all need to recognize even if
you're eating really healthy, we have to recognize that the
support of our system to be able to cleanse itself
from all things that we are exposed to on a
(41:59):
daily basis is key. This is why in the body
it exists that we have what is known as metabolic detoxification.
So taking the greens AHX is a really great way
for us to achieve this. Now, when Jerry Hickey formulated
both the reds HX and the greens ahex so many
(42:20):
years ago, he looked at the data even at that
point understanding that Americans just do not consume high enough
amounts of fruits and vegetables. So I always give the
stats on this. But when they did the National Health
Assessment and they surveyed thousands of Americans throughout all of
(42:43):
the fifty states, they could recognize where Americans are truly
falling short of those fruit and vegetable intake. So when
it came to fruit intake, it's roughly about seventy five
percent of Americans do not get on an everyday basis
enough fruits. You should be taking in one to two
(43:03):
cups of fruits per day, and only seventy five or
seventy five percent of Americans do not take in one
to two cups. And then you look at vegetables and
that's even a scarier number. So ninety percent of Americans
do not eat the recommended amount of vegetables each day,
(43:24):
which is two to three cups. So if you're not
getting enough fruits, you're not getting enough vegetables. That means
we're already lowering our antioxidant capacity because we know that
those fruits and vegetables give us a powerful amount of
all of those different anthocyanins and powerful polyphenols to help
(43:45):
protect ourselves from oxidative stress and damage free radicals in
a sense. So this is why the Reds and the
Greens is such a really nice way for us to
combat our lack of intake of fruits and vegetables. So
it's still ideal to go in and talk to one
(44:05):
of our nutritional experts and really map out a way
for you to increase your fruit and vegetable intake because
we still want to get that fiber. We know fiber
is really important for all aspects of our cellular health.
So I'm going to talk a bit more about what's
contained in both the Reds and the Greens, and then
(44:27):
we will continue on to other products that are on
special today. But I do need to squeeze in a
quick break, so stick around with me. I will be
right back just after this. Listening to this radio show

go into one of the stores, maybe you're going to
go in and get your red Zchex to your green Zchex. Today,
do make sure that you mention that so you get
that additional ten percent off. Now, looking at the nutrients
that are contained in both the reds and the greens
(47:40):
have an incredibly high ORAC value, and that's like a
rating system as to the antioxidant capacity of a particular food.
So when you're looking at things like blueberry, for example,
or green tea, we know that those have very high
ORAC values to them. So this is what makes both
(48:02):
of these formulations, both the reds ahax and the greens achex,
very powerful because it has that close to forty fruits
and vegetables with those high ARAC values, So as you're
taking those in, it works in a sense to allow
your body to be able to fight off all of
(48:22):
that oxidative stress and really give you just a heightened
free radical fighting ability each and every single day. Plus
it has the probiotic in it, and as I mentioned,
we carry around two to four pounds of bacteria with
us each and every single day, So we always want
to focus on that microbiome because it's not just for
(48:45):
the immune system, it's for all functionality in the body,
for brain health, for heart health. You know, you look
at your your joints. For example, your bacteria play a
role into that. So taking these four relations that have
this wonderful amount of healthy bacteria already packed into each
(49:07):
individual scoop is a nice way to once again get
year round support. And as we're getting ready to add
this extra hour of daylight, which I am just super
excited about. This is a great way to increase your
energy every single day. So maybe you do know, yeah,
(49:28):
you know what, I think, I'm gonna go out after
work every day this week, so I'm gonna have that
extra hour. I'm gonna go take a walk around my neighborhood.
Then this is a good way for you to assure
that you have the energy capacity to do so. So
I had mentioned that the greens HX has the chlorilla
(49:50):
and spirrillina in that there's fascinating studies on both chlorilla
and spirrillina outside of their powerful way that they help
our cells detoxify, looking at the glycemic control and what
does that mean. The blood sugar control that you can
(50:14):
gain from both the spirillina and thatchlerella is incredibly impressive.
In the Journal of Medicinal Foods all the way back
in two thousand and one, they looked at this. They
looked at type two diabetics who were supplementing with spirillina,
and then they started to look at their hemoglobin A
(50:35):
one C levels, their fasting glucose levels, they looked at
their total cholesterol, and they said, wow, this is really
quite impressive. As these you know, type two diabetics were
taking spirillina on a daily basis, they could start to
see this improvement across all of these different cardiometabolic markers.
So once again, when you are supplementing with the greens
(50:57):
AcHx or the reds AcHx, you get all of these
added side benefits. You may not think that the greens
ahax is great for your cholesterol and great for brain health.
You may not be taking the reds ajax and think,
oh wow, this is really wonderful for my vision health
and for eyehealth says all those powerful krotenoids in that
(51:19):
or for brain health in general. So I always like
to mention the many different ways that these nutrients have
been shown to be clinically effective when it comes to
many different aspects of our overall health, even for you know,
kidney health. It's really quite impressive. This is something that
(51:42):
we should all you know, really zero in on understanding
that when it comes to overall metabolic health. University of
North Carolina many years ago they looked and they said,
only twelve percent of Americans are metabolically he healthy, which
kind of goes hand in hand with when you look
(52:03):
at fruit and vegetable intake, and we recognize that with
Americans not taking in enough fruits and vegetables, that's going
to affect our health in a negative way. Why because
we're not getting the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, nor that fiber.
So that number of twelve percent definitely makes sense. Now.
Tufts University in Massachusetts they looked at they deciphered this
(52:28):
down even more when it came to cardio metabolic health,
so looking at levels of c ractive protein and lipoprotein A,
so markers for cardiovascular risk, and they could see that
you know, from their data points, roughly only seven percent
(52:48):
of Americans fell into that category of being quote unquote healthy.
So being that this is March and National Nutrition Month,
we have to put nutrition ana that front line of
how we can age gracefully and how we approach wellness.
(53:08):
I always say the most tried and true of any
diet out there. I don't even like using the word diet.
The lifestyle, the way of eating is the Mediterranean style
of eating. It doesn't matter which system. We're looking at,
the Mediterranean style of eating, and some people call it
(53:30):
the Mediterranean diet, a diet often for many folks who think,
you know, chloric restriction and trying to lose weight. We're
just talking about a lifestyle if you adhere to a
Mediterranean style way of eating. And remember we're thinking Mediterranean style,
old school, the way that they used to eat over
(53:51):
in the med before the influence of American style way
of eating started to flood over to them as well.
This is why you see an increase of chronic disease
states even happening throughout the Mediterranean region because they're eating
like Americans. They're eating ultra processed foods. They're you know,
(54:11):
not having this high intake of healthy omega threes and
fruits and vegetables. So we're seeing the effects of that.
But if we just you know, go into you know,
what is Mediterranean style way of eating, it's just eating
real foods. It's looking at you know, your your plate
should look like a rainbow of natural colored foods. Let
(54:34):
me put that out there. I know that we have
one of the artificial colors that's been banned, but we
have many more to go. But your your plate should
be a rainbow. If you look at your plate and
it resembles more like the desert, you know you're on
the wrong path, and then you know you need to
come over. You need to talk to someone at Invite
Health so that we can give you some guidance and
(54:57):
personalize it to your specific needs. This is very important
because we have to recognize that we are all different
and what one person likes as far as foods may
be totally different than someone else. And same thing with
when it comes to supplementation, what supplements should be included
into your routine can vary from one person to the
(55:20):
next as well. So is the performance multivitamin the multivitamin
that you should be supplementing with each and every single day. Well,
the true answer to that is usually yes. Because the
performance multivitamin that we have is oftentimes people think of
it for athletic performance, hence the name performance. I look
(55:46):
at it as cellular performance. How do we get our
cells to function at their best each and every single day? Well,
we use the performance multivitamin so that those cells can
perform form their duties for us that can help us detoxify,
can help support blood sugar. So in the Performance Multivitamin,
(56:10):
not only do you get a comprehensive blend of powerful
vitamins and minerals, including the activated B vitamins, you get
the full spectrum natural vitamin E. Of course, what makes
our multivitamins that invite health so incredibly unique is the
fact that we kelate our minerals, which allows for an
(56:31):
enhanced way to absorb those minerals and not break down
in the digestive process. So when you're taking the Performance multivitamin,
you can rest assured that you're getting that powerful amount
of things like chromium into your system that can help
regulate your blood sugar for you throughout the day. And
(56:53):
then it has rodeola extract as well as superoxide dismutase. Now,
rodiola is in a day aptogenic herb which has been
shown to be highly effective not only for increasing our
energy output, which is really quite interesting, but it also
really regulates the body's stress response. And you know, maybe
(57:16):
as you're getting into you know, daylight savings and you're
springing forward, maybe you're not a big fan of daylight
savings like I am, and you're kind of I always
feel tired for the first few days in the spring
once that daylight savings happens. Go get your Performance Multi
vitamin today, because that rodeola helps to regulate the adrenal
(57:38):
response and the amount of cortisol that can be kind
of seeping out and creating havoc for you. So it
gives you this nice kind of natural sense of energy
without making you feel jittery, which is really important because
some folks want to just turn to like caffeinated beverages,
not always the best idea. So using the Performance Multi vitamin,
(58:02):
you get this nice, steady state of energy coming into
your cells. And you also get SOD, which is super
oxide dismutase. So that can be your fun word of
the day. But we know the importance of SOD and
why SOOD is so incredibly important in our system. SOD
(58:27):
is one of our naturally occurring antioxidants. And as we
get older, and I'm not talking once we get to
you know, seventy eighty and beyond, I'm talking even in
our twenties and thirties, SOD levels can start to decline
that can put us at a heightened state of elevated risk.
(58:48):
When it comes to cardiovascular damage, SOD does a wonderful
job protecting the lining of our blood vessels and making
sure that cholestered all is not becoming a problem. As
far as damaging the internal core of those blood vessels,
(59:08):
we know in diabetics. They have looked at this, They've
been able to assess that diabetics have incredibly low levels
of superoxide dismutastes and at the same time they have
a heightened amount of croted artery stenosis. That's not ideal.
We don't want to have that main supporting vessel going
(59:33):
up to the brain being skinny, because that means we're
not getting optimal blood flow and oxygen up to our noggin,
which can then affect our focus, our attention, our memory.
So taking the performance multivitamin that has this unique ability
to increase your energy and give us this wonderful cellular
(59:59):
protection is kind of that go to multivitamin that I
turn to whenever I'm working with anyone who has concerns
with heart health, or maybe you're a pre diabetic, or
maybe you are an athlete, and you say Hey, I'm
adhering to a Mediterranean diet. I'm doing everything right, and
I just want to have the most powerful multivitamin available
(01:00:21):
on the market. The Performance Multivitamin is your go too.
So I do need to squeeze in a quick break,
so stick around with me. I will be right back

I am doctor Amanda Williams. Now, I just want to
(01:01:47):
mention one other thing about SOOD, superoxide dismutase and the
importance of SOD. Now here's actually I want to mention
two things. One is, we use a really powerful source
for our SOD. It's called extramel and it actually comes
from melon. So the melon itself has a high amount
(01:02:12):
of superoxide dismytases, powerful antioxidant contained in that and so
the way that we source that extract is highly unique.
But then it's a registered trademark form of that SOD
that's been shown in clinical trials to actually increase your
total SOD level, which is really important. There was a
(01:02:34):
study that was conducted it was called the Meteor Trial
many years ago, and it was published in JAMA which
is the journal of the American Medical Association, back in
two thousand and seven, looking at the impact of SOD. Now,
what was fascinating about this study? And I like to
(01:02:55):
talk about this one from time to time because I
think it's relevant because when I started today's show and
being Nutrition month, how many doctors in training, how many
practicing doctors know next to nothing about nutrition, but yet
they are oftentimes the first one to be dismissive to nutrition. Say,
(01:03:18):
if you're an Invite Health, you know, longtime client, you
go in and you talk to your doctor and you say, oh, yes,
I'm taking this from Invite Health and that they may say, oh,
you don't need any of that, and I would say, well,
what are they basing that off of, because they clearly
don't have the background in understanding this. But this is
always one of those fun facts in studies that I
(01:03:39):
always encourage people. When your doctor gives you a little
pushback on what you're supplementing with, bring up this one. Say,
you know, there's a study in the Journal of the
American Medical Association in two thousand and seven and it
was conducted over at wake Forest University. Now what was
interesting this is they said, well, let's look at how
(01:04:04):
it is that superoxide dismutase is working in the body,
and then let's look at a statin drug. So let's
look at receuve a statin. Now, receive a statin is
your generic crestore And they said, well, you know, we
know that these statin drugs are there. They can lower
your cholesterol, which in turn should what give you some
(01:04:26):
cardiovascular protection. But now we actually recognize it's not the
total cholesterol that's the problem. It's the damage that happens
inside of the blood vessels, right, And what happens is
has the inside of the blood vessel is being damaged
and we don't have enough superoxide dismutase to protect our vessels. Well,
then wouldn't it make sense that we take superoxide dismutase
(01:04:49):
because that's where the problem is. It's not that, you know,
total cholesterol. So they wanted to look and see if
giving individuals s D versus if they're just taking their
you know, receive a statin, what level of protection this
leads to when it comes to the lining of the
blood vessels. And sure enough, what they could see was
(01:05:13):
that someone who's taking receive a statin, maybe they get
a little bit of protection from further damage to that lining,
but they don't get any repair. So maybe the blood
vessel where it has been damaged, it's not going to
get perhaps worse, but it doesn't get any better. But
(01:05:34):
yet if they give them super oxy dismutaste, not only
did it stop it from getting worse, it actually created
a repair mechanism so they could see vascular improvement in
real time. So it's just one of those little things
that I always like to mention to folks who are
taking the Performance Multivitamin is that there is such a
(01:05:56):
significant amount of science behind these formulations we offer at
invite that when it comes to your health and your wellness,
there's a reason why we are the leaders in this
industry because we understand this science. We understand that if
you are supplementing with our Performance Multivitamin, yes, you're going
(01:06:17):
to feel that energy. You're going to get that you know,
the coverage for where your diet perhaps is not giving
you enough vitamins and minerals, but you're also getting all
of these powerful nutrients that are enhancing not just your
your eye health, but for overall cardiovascular health and for
(01:06:37):
the support of the way that your body responds to
free radicals and you know excess cholesterol as an example.
So Performance Multivitamin it's my go to for anyone out
there who has concerns when it comes to your heart,
when it comes to your brain when it comes to

Remember that's a buy one, get one free, plus you

promo code Amanda Wor. Now here's a study that just
came out and it was published in the American Journal
(01:07:22):
of Pathology looking at non alcoholic fatty liver disease. Now,
the reason why I wanted to bring this up is
the alarming amount of Americans that are known to have
non alcoholic fatty liver disease, which when they assess this,
(01:07:43):
they said in the United States alone, in the United States,
we're looking at an incredibly high percentage of Americans who
are dealing with diagnosed non alcoholic fatty liver disease. So
(01:08:04):
in the US one hundred million, one hundred million Americans
have known non alcoholic fatty liver disease. Where does that
come from, Folks, That comes from your diet, That is
coming directly from those ultra processed foods. And this is
(01:08:24):
why I'm talking about National Nutrition Month and why foods matter,
Why what we do every single day as far as
the foods we are taking in what you drink every day,
you know, when you do an assessment, do a little
self assessment and say, oh, yeah, you know what I do,
drink a lot of you know, sugar beverages. And don't
(01:08:47):
fool yourself if you think that taking a zero calorie
you know, artificial sweetened beverage is somehow saving you. It's not.
I often say, if it says artificial sweetener, that should
be like a huge alarm bell going off. Do not
(01:09:08):
consume because we know that while it may not initially
increase your glucose level, so they always market this to diabetics.
You know, oh you don't use this artificial sweetener. We
know that it actually increases the rate of insulin resistance,
so it makes things much much worse. And it's artificial,
so your liver has absolutely no idea what to do
(01:09:30):
with it. Your liver is like, what in the world
is this stuff? Like, if it's sugar, okay, I understand that,
I've seen that, I understand that, But this artificial thing,
I have no idea what to do with this. And
hence this is why we see this alarmingly high rate
of non alcoholic fatty liver disease in this country. So
(01:09:52):
how do we address this and this particular study they're
looking at, you know, many of the different componentonents to this,
and you know what should we be doing? You know,
how do we change this? Where should the shift happen?
And it comes down to the foods. You know, let
food be thy medicine. But if we're already dealing with
(01:10:16):
non alcoholic fatty liverencies, what are some things that we
can be doing to kind of reverse that or have
a correction to that. Well, we add in formulations like
the greens Hix, which helps to facilitate detoxification, helps your
little tiny liver cells, those hepatosites be much happier. We
do that in combination with those dietary modifications. We make
(01:10:40):
sure that we are taking the Invite Health multi vitamin,
the Performance multivitamin, which includes coenzyme Q ten plus. We
add in additional ubiquinal and remember the form that we
use and have used at Invite in our co Q
ten ubiquitol with NA and our coke ten you bicken
(01:11:02):
all sixty milligram is conica. Conica is the most powerful
supplemental form of coenzyme Q ten that you can take.
We know that with just the aging process alone, our
body makes less and less coenzyme Q ten, So coq
(01:11:23):
ten isn't just a supplement, folks. Coq ten you can
go today to a lab and test your coke ten level.
You can see how much coq ten is actually in
your system, in your blood. So it's a powerful antioxidant,
but it's also a cellular energy producer. So if we're
getting older and say you go from twenty to thirty
(01:11:46):
years old, do you have the same amount of coenzyme
q ten at twenty and thirty. No, by the time
you hit thirty, you have a drop in coq ten
being produced, Which is why daily supplementation with coenzyme q
ten is so incredibly advantageous because it allows the inner
(01:12:07):
core of your cell to keep up with the demands
of what happens in your day to day life. So
the form that we use, the Konica form, is absorbed
so much greater than a standard coke q ten supplement
that you can find out there on the market. And
(01:12:29):
we know that ubiqueno al in and of itself is
required for ninety five percent of sell energy production. So
imagine that just for a moment, you need ubiquen al
for ninety five percent of your cell energy production. And
we know that when we hit thirty years old, we
have less ubiquenol from when we were twenty. Then you say, okay,
(01:12:54):
now I'm forty years old, I'm going to have even
less ubiquenol in my system. Then with every decade we
can see this trend. How do we remedy this? Well,
it's simple. We take the bioidentical form of what our
body is used to making. We take that bioidentical form
(01:13:15):
that is what the Invite Health co q ten is
made with the Konica form, the most well researched, the
most tested of all co q ten supplements out there,
and then we partner up our ubiquenol with NADH which
(01:13:39):
allows for it even greater amount of that ubiquinal to
stay inside of that inner core of the cell to
produce even more energy for us. So it's not like
when you take coenzyme q ten, you take it and
you're like, wow, I feel like you know, I bopping
all over the place. That's not what coke ten is doing.
(01:14:01):
When we talk about cell energy and making ATP, what
we're talking about is allowing a cell to have the
energy to actually carry out the action or the function
of that cell for you. So this is the way
that we combat the aging process is we take the
known facts. We know our body makes less natural ubiquinl
(01:14:23):
as we grow older. So the remedy to that is
daily supplementation of ubiquinol, which is very helpful for yourpatocite.
So going back to that with the whole non alcoholic
fatty liver disease or metabolic liver disease, this is why
it's so important to take your co Q ten each
(01:14:43):
and every single day from Invite Health. Now, which one
should you be taking? Should you take the ubiquinol sixty
milligram or do you take the ubiquenol one hundred and
twenty milligram With the NADH. This is when you want
to talk to one of our nutritional experts so that
we can really hone in on what your specific needs are.
Are we dealing with potential you know, nutrient deficiencies that
(01:15:07):
are brought on because of a medication that you're on.
Maybe you're on a beta blocker for your blood pressure,
or you're on a statin for your cholesterol. Then we
want to know those things so we can give you
the best advice as to how much of the ubiq
when all you should be supplementing with each day. So
I'm looking at the clock, I'm a couple of minutes over.
I need to squeeze in one final break, so stick
(01:15:29):
around with me. I will be right back just after this.

(01:16:45):
Happy Saturday morning to everyone out there. Talked about the
reds HX today the Greens HX. The reds is a
wonderful choice as we get into you know, springtime for
those who are looking just to give you your skin
some extra support your eyes. Think of all the powerful
(01:17:07):
carotenoids that are contained in that formulation and really just
a nice way to drive up your energy. Nothing better
to drive up your energy though than ubiquenol, so our
coenzyme Q ten. I have both of those on special today,
both the sixty miligram as well as taking our ubiquenol
(01:17:30):
with NADH. Now NADH that's interesting. That's a vitamin B
three derivative, so it is from niasin and it really
helps to encourage the amount of energy that the mitochondria
itself can actually produce. So both products excellent choices. As
(01:17:55):
I mentioned, we use the Kanaka form. This is hands
down the best coenz i'm Q ten that you can
possibly supplement with. And I do encourage you if you've
never had your co Q ten blood level tested, Just
do that. It's always enlightening to folks. I remember working
(01:18:19):
with a gentleman many years ago, and I probably mentioned
this story on the show before, but it's an important
one because he came in and you know, we had
our consultation. He was like, you know, I just feel
like my memory's not so good, and yeah, it's just
been over the past five years. Maybe it's just because
I'm just getting older, and this is the way it's
(01:18:42):
it goes. So as we talked a little bit more,
and he was doing most things right. As diet was,
you know, fairly fairly good. He wasn't taking any ubiquinal.
He was taking you know, fish oil, took some vitamin D,
some magnesium, so you know, he was at least covering
(01:19:02):
some bases there, but he wasn't taking coenzyme Q ten.
And as we were talking, I found out that he
was on a beta blocker for his blood pressure and
he was on the generic for lippittour so a torvous
statton And I said, hmm, well this is interesting. First
(01:19:24):
and foremost, you know, please go talk to your doctor
and see about switching off of that You've probably heard
Jerry Hickey say this many times through the years, but
there are certain statin drugs that you definitely want to
be able to avoid because we don't want those to
cross the blood brain barrier and potentially lower the cholesterol
that's in our brain. Because we need cholesterol in our brain.
(01:19:44):
We know that a torvous stanton runs that risk. So
if you're taking a torvous statton aka lippetur, you're listening
to this show right now, please try and talk to
your doctor about switching over to a different form. Pravistanton
be a good choice. So as I'm talking to this
(01:20:04):
this customer, and we're we're trying to you know, determine
you know, why is his you know, memory feel like
it's not as sharp as it once was. And I said, okay,
well this is interesting. You're you're taking two medications that
lower your Cohen's i'm Q ten level. And he I said,
has your doctor, because he was seeing a cardiologist, I said,
(01:20:25):
has your doctor ever tested your coke ten? Even though
I knew the answer the answer, of course would be no.
He says no, he goes, but you know, I actually
have a follow up visit with him next week, So
when I go in, I'm gonna ask him if he'll
test COQ ten. So he went in and he was
able to twist his doctor's arm to test coke ten,
even though his doctor had no idea why, like why
(01:20:46):
are we testing this? But whatever, you know, we'll go
ahead and run the test. That level came back and
it was so incredibly low, and so he came back
he goes, oh my goodness, I meana like, I'm so
glad that we looked at this. I'm glad that my
doctor was willing to test it. But this level is
like it almost shows that I have like no Cohen's,
(01:21:07):
I'm Q ten in my system. So he started to
supplement with the ubiquenol with NADH and I actually had
him using two capsules per day and he would take
those in the morning. And then six months later he
went in for another follow up with his cardiologist, redid
the co Q ten level and it came up lovely.
(01:21:27):
But not only did the level come up his memory,
he was like, I feel sharp again. So it's just
it's always interesting to understand how, you know, just the
natural aging process can affect how we feel every single day.
And I'm not talking about aches and pains. I'm talking about,
(01:21:50):
you know, that low level of energy loss that happens
with every decade, and unbeknownst to you, maybe you just
chalk it up to, well, I'm forty. I guess I'm
just not as peppy as I was when I was twenty.
We always have to look and say, well, why is that?
Speaker 3 (01:22:06):
Though?
Speaker 4 (01:22:07):
You know, is our diet playing a role into that?
Is it because I'm losing too much coenzime Q ten?
You know, should I be taking a formulation like risveratrol max,
which is giving my brain this really lovely amount of
new trans to fight off ox dative stress and neuroinflammation.
(01:22:28):
So I do feel like I have better mental clarity.
And that's what's great about the Invite Health Resveratrol max
is the amount of transras veratrol. You get ninety eight
percent of that transros viatrol. So if you look at
our label, it's two hundred and four milligrams of total resveratrol.
But the amount of transras veratrol that's the important part
(01:22:49):
of this. The amount of transras veratrol is a ninety
eight percent extract. You're not going to find that in
the market. It took us a very long time to
seek out such a powerful source for that transras veratrol.
So you're getting two hundred milligrams of total trans resveratrol
(01:23:10):
per capsule. That's incredibly high. When you think back to
when risveratrol first was studied, they were looking at its
anti aging benefits coming in. You know, once you hit
twenty milligrams of trans resveratrol, we have two hundred milligrams
of transras veratrol. So the self protection power of this
(01:23:34):
product is hands down. You're not going to find another
product out there that can yield you the amount of
support that the risveratrol max gives you. And if we're
targeting inflammating, so you know, we always want to avoid
low grade chronic inflammation. We know that that's the driving
(01:23:56):
force for so many of those chronic disease states, which
is brought on because of bad diet. Remember talked about
that in the beginning. So if we want to be
able to combat that, we have to look at different
nutrients that can allow for our cells to have or
yield that protective measure, and if we avoid inflammating, we
(01:24:21):
can have that success of aging gracefully so the Risveratrol
Max is not just this powerful amount of the trans resveratral,
the two hundred milligrams of trans resveratrol that you get
in that you also get the OPCs coming from grape
seed extract, so those are the lego pro anthocyanodens, plus
(01:24:44):
you get corsetin. So it's an excellent choice as we
go into springtime to have some corsetin on board to
regulate your histamine case you do have some seasonal allergies
and to give you that energy because we do know
that risveratrol and that grape seed do so much to
facilitate better oxygenation and blood flow for us, which can
(01:25:05):
encourage you to want to go out with that extra
hour of daylight that we will all get tomorrow to
