Welcome to Invite Radio. You're about to receive responsible, life
changing information on health and nutrition. You'll hear from Invite
professionals who are leaders and targeted and anti aging nutrition.
Get ready for tomorrow's nutritional science today right here, right now,
Happy Saturday, Good morning everybody. And it's Easter weekend. So
if you celebrate Easter, it's my favorite holiday. Have a

(00:39):
great time, nice time to see the film ah, and
do the right things now. I had a two people
come to me that I know recently, one for work
and one personally, and both of them had mothers withrible

(01:00):
memory loss, terrible memory loss, and you know, we had
discussions and one of them said to me, listen, my
mother's a hard case. She won't take anything. The doctor
has trouble giving her her prescription medication. He goes, so
I want you to tell me one thing to give

(01:21):
my mother that will be good for her brain. So
I said, well, you know, I really want to do
two things, because I have to get a multi vitamin
into her. That's really core. We have a powdered multi vitamin,
so that's okay. In fact, you know, let me add
that to today's products. It's called multi energy Plus. So
I'll add multi energy plus to today's products. I said.

(01:42):
The multi Energy Plus is a great multi vitamin for
someone who doesn't want to take pills. It's a powder
and there's a lot of things in there that are
good for your mother's brain. I said. But if you're
telling me she'll only take one supplement and you want
the best thing for her brain, give her Alcar with ala.

(02:04):
That's what I take for my brain. It's really a
super nutrient combination for the brain. They belong in the brain,
both of those nutrients alcar with ala, they work together
in the same pathway, the energy pathway in the brain.
They work together, and they both belong in the brain.

(02:25):
But they're levels decline like in our fifties, sixties, seventies,
So you want to put it back in your brain.
And this goes for everybody. This goes for everybody. Alcar
is something that the brain loves and it's helper ALA
the brain loves. They enter the brain and what they

(02:48):
do they deliver energy. They deliver fuel, fuel for energy,
fuel for the brain to burn for energy, and then
they pull out toxins. So they have a double double
immediate job. They have a lot of jobs in the brain,
but their immediate job is to feed the brain fuel
for energy, fuel fuel for energy, and then to pull

(03:13):
out toxins from the brain cells so the brain cells
don't get damaged by the energy. Now ALA stands for
alpha la poec acid. I like this specific version. There
is a second version, our lopoec acid. I don't care
for it because it doesn't cover all the bases like
alpha lepoc acid. So this is my go to forla

(03:35):
poec acid, alpha lopoec acid, and that is a very
powerful regulator of energy production in the brain. It helps
create energy, it helps deliver energy, and it helps protect
the brain from energy. It's a super powerful antioxidant in
the brain. It works many fold times. It just keeps
on working. You know, a lot of antioxidants work once

(03:59):
or twice a day to be recharged. Well, ALA works
four times before it needs to be recharged, which is
astounding really because that means it's always getting recharged. It's
always there to do its job of shielding your brain
from damage cellular damage. Now, the alcore is super duper
for the brain. That's a technical term. Super duper is
a very technical term. It's first of all, it repairs

(04:24):
the energy factories in your brain. You have these little
Every brain cell is loaded with hundreds, if not thousands,
of these little factories called mitochondria, and that's where you
release the energy in the mitochondria. They call it the
power plant of the cell. But cells don't have one,
they have many. Brain cells are loaded with them because
the brain is a super high energy organ so brain

(04:45):
cells have hundreds thousands of these mitochondria depending on the
type of cell. So alcar repairs the mitochondria, which is
good because just like our skin gets a little old
and wrinkled, mitochondria in the brain get old and wrinkled
with age and they don't work well. They come inefficient.

(05:08):
So the alcar repairs and recharges the amountochondria. It helps
maintain metabolism in your brain, which is amazing. So this
is really a key activity of ALCAR with ALA in
the aging brain, and it's why I strongly recommend it
to virtually everybody. The only person I wouldn't give it

(05:29):
to is somebody with epilepsy, because with an epileptic, you
never want to give their brain more energy. They already
have too much uncontrolled energy in their brain. So the
only person I would rule out for alcohol with ALA
is an epileptic somebody who has seizures, okay, because the

(05:50):
seizures are kind of like a thunder and lightning storm
of energy in their brain that's uncontrolled now. But for
you and me, ninety nine point nine nine percent of
all people out there, this is to go to for
an aging brain because it repays the mitochondria and delivers
energy into them so that your brain can staff, crackle
and pop. It can create energy, and it restores metabolism,

(06:12):
which is so important. Metabolism is not just burning energy.
Metabolism is every biological reaction that's taking place right now,
and alcoholic ALA restores all the different processes and activities
in your brain. It also allows the brain to use sugar.

(06:35):
The brain does not use protein or fat for energy.
Even though it's made out of fat and it's made
out of protein, that's not where it gets its energy.
The brain uses sugar and guess what A lot of
leading researchers in places like Columbia University call Alzheimer's disease
type three diabetes. They call it type three diabetes where

(06:57):
diabetes in the brain because the brain can no longer
use sugar fe energy. So when you eat a piece
of whole grain, or when you eat a carrot, or
when you eat an apple or something, there's wholesome sugars
in there and they will go into your brain, and
that's fuel for your brain. That really is important for
your brain. But you know, when you hit sixty and

(07:20):
seventy my age, it gets harder to use the sugar
for energy. So that's why I take alchar with Ala.
I've been taking it every day since about the age
of sixty. I've been taking alcar with Ala every day
since about the age of sixty, and my brain is
not slowed down. I mean I could think all day long,
I could do puzzles all day long, I could read
all day long, I could do radio for hours. In fact,

(07:42):
right now I'm reading three manuals that are about one
hundred and fifty pages each for that coast Guard to
auxiliary stuff because I want to do some very advanced
stuff in the Coastguard Auxiliary. So actually, the truth of
the matter is I think I really only have to
read one of those manuals very carefully. The others that

(08:03):
could just skim through because it's just repetitive. But let's
get back to it. And by the way, like I
said last week, you want friends, you want a great time.
You don't need a boat. You don't need how to
you don't need to step foot in the boat. You
don't need how to swim, you need to know how
to swim. Join the Coast Guardo Auxiliary. You'll meet great people.
So if you're like you're retired and you're like, you know,

(08:23):
floundering around, you don't know what to do when you're
becoming one with your couch watching YouTube all day, go
join the Coast Guardo Auxiliary. You'll be doing something great
for other people and you're really going to enjoy it.
And you get to wear a uniform. What's cool about that? Uh? Everything? Okay,
let's get back to it. Let's get to work. Brain
energy that repays about the condrit. It renews their function,

(08:44):
It brings energy into them and then it detoxifies them
so they don't die or you know, break down. But
then it also helps create key neurotransmitters. So there's about
one hundred neurotransmitters in your brain. Okay, the most NERD
transmitters in your body, from what I've read, is the intestine, stomach,

(09:06):
and brain. The same neud transmitters that work in your
brain work in your digestive tract, which is amazing. It's
like a second brain really. In fact, somebody once wrote
a book called the Second Brain about the intestines and
the stomach. So let's get back to it. Your brain,
Like if you're learning something, you need to release three

(09:27):
neuro transmitters. You need to release glutamate, you need to
release gabba, and you need to release the seedle coline
in a specific order. And then when you want to
recall that info you got to you have to release
the same three neuro transmitters. Well, your brain gets short
undease with age. Alcore allows the brain to make and
release these again in the proper order. I mean, you

(09:50):
want to make a decision, you need dopamine. Alcore helps
you release dopamine and make dopamine. But what's really key
is it helps the brain create acetyl coling Because the
name of alcar is acetyl, it's actually n acetyl L
carnatine n acetyl l carnatine, so it is an acealal group.

(10:12):
The alcar is capable of shifting that acetyl group onto
a b voalum and called coling and creating acetyl colding.
So what's so important about that? It does tremendous things
in your brain. But the two key things acetyl coaling
does in your brain, well, the three things. One that
helps you solve It helps you solve problems in questions.

(10:34):
So acetyl coaling allows you to learn something new and
then later on remember it. It is the key neurotransmitter
for your memory. And alcar is a direct creator. It's
what we call a rate limiting factor. If you don't

(10:55):
have ALCR, the rate of creating acetyl cold drops dramatically,
so it's a rate limiting factor. So by giving you
alcohol with ALA, we're pushing up your level of acetyl
cooling production to that of a much younger person. You'll
have a better memory, you'll have a sharper memory. But

(11:17):
because it affects neurer transmitters such as serotonin, norapinephyrin, dopamine, GABBA, glutamate,
glutenic acid, so on and so forth. Your mood is
going to improve, and it's going to improve very quickly.
Within about the first week, you will get a mood improvement.

(11:39):
Your mood's going to click up a bunch of levels.
You're going to feel much better about the world and
a bad things. And here's the thing. You're going to
have more energy in the daytime because I take alcohol
with ala early in the day because it gives to
bring pep. You're going to have more energy for you
for your daytime function. But you're going to sleep better

(12:00):
at night. And that's not paradoxical. It's because the brain
is functioning better and you're releasing neurotransmitters appropriately. You'll sleep
better at night. But not only that, it's going to
be easier to repair your brain. So this is all
great stuff, okay, And this is why I told that
guy your mother who has some real memory loss, frank,

(12:24):
memory loss, you can only give her one thing, give
her alcar with ala. That's what I take. Don't got
me wrong. There's other things for the memory too, But
this is the key thing. They see that as people
lose their memory, the level of alcohol drops. It's just
straight connection. It's just a straight connection. Like people with

(12:44):
Alzheimer's don't have ALCAR. People with mild cognitive payment, they
have a lot less than people with a good memory.
So the alcore helps you heal the brain. So what
do I mean by that? At night when you go
into periods of deep sleep, non rem sleep, non rapid
eye movement, so when you're not dreaming, okay, you go

(13:05):
into these deep pockets of sleep and you actually create
new memory cells. You need sufficient acetyl calling for that
to happen. Older people don't create as many new memory
cells every night as a younger person. A younger person

(13:25):
can make hundreds of new memory cells every night because
they have a lot of aceetal coling. All the people
have less of seal calling. They're replacing far fewer memory cells.
So when you go into YACAR with ALA, not only
do you get that improvement and brain energy and metabolism
and mood and better sleep daytime energy, better sleep at night,

(13:45):
but in the future you're going to have more memory
cells than other people in your age group. So it's
a very important supplement. It is my number one brain
go to supplement. There are other good things too. And
by the way, I added, because I said to him,
you know, your mother needs be vitamins and stuff, and

(14:06):
she needs magnesium and thinking, well, all these things are
important for the brain. So we have a powder and
you could just put that in whatever she's drinking in
the morning, because you told me she made some kind
of shake in the morning, right, So just add this
to the shake and put a whole scoop in there,
and she'll be terrific and it'll make a difference. So
that's called multi energy powder. My good friend doctor Alan Pressman,

(14:31):
God rest his soul, created that and I only made
a couple of improvements on it because I done did a
really good job. And that's what I said. To give her,
give it a multi energy powder, a scoop in the morning,
and give her alcar with ala. Try to give her
to it two twice a day, or at least two
once a day, because she really I mean, for me,
I take two once a day. But it's somebody with real,

(14:55):
a real mean situation for their memory. You want to
give them four a day. You want to give them
four day two twice a day, because that makes a difference. Okay,
I have to go to a break. Don't go anywhere. Oh, first,
the deal all of these products that I speak about
so so far it's been alcohol with ALA and multi
energy pattern. If you buy two bottles, you get fifty

(15:16):
percent off suggested retail. So you buy one bottle suggested retail,
you get the second bottle free. You buy one, you
get one free. But if you use the following code,
you get an extra ten percent off, an additional ten
percent off, And it's any day, anytime. Use this code
Jerry Wor. Now when I say that, I don't think

(15:38):
it's when they have that that store wide sale, you know,
when they had the huge sales, like like if they
had a spring sale or a Christmas sale or something.
But and the other time, use that Jerry Wor. So
it's my name and the name of the radio station,
Jerry wr and get an extra ten percent off. Doesn't

(16:00):
matter if you call on the phone, say it, or

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Okay, Welcome back, Jerry Hicky. It's the uh oh. By
the way, you know, this is like like the prequel
to the show. So I do half an hour and
a half to meet doctor Amanda Williams is going to
do a full hour. So when this segment ends, they
do with news. Then doctor Amanda Williams will come on
with her products that she's featuring on Special Today, and
she's she's a wonder count. She really knows her stuff.

(17:35):
Very brilliant person. Now I put collagen on Special. You know,
here's the thing. Collagen is the number two ingredient in
the human body. Number one is water, because you know
that makes you blood, and the fluids in your cells
and everything, your spiral fluid. It makes all that stuff, right,

(17:56):
So the number one ingredient in the human body is water.
Number two is collagen. So a couple of maybe three
or four years ago, I said, if collagen is the
number two ingredient in the human body after water, doesn't
it make sense that it makes part of our brain.

(18:19):
So I went in to look at studies and I
found a fascinating study. I don't have it in front
of me, so this is from memory. I don't remember
the research institution or the journal off hand that it
was published in, but it was a double barring, randomized
PLACEFIC controlled human clinical trial in the United States. It
was a gold standard trial you can't get a better study.
And they gave older people collagen, the collagen we have

(18:43):
on special now. Our collagen has been used on a
lot of human clinical trials. That got the University of
Rochester and the Mayo Clinic, et cetera. And so they
gave this collagen and they were doing these powerful imaging
studies of their brain function MRIs, et cetera. And they
saw that when they gave them collagen, after not a

(19:05):
very long time, I think within the first month, they
saw that the parts of the brain involved with memory
were regrowing. See, as you grow older, the parts of
the brain involved with memory tend to shrink. They shrink
and this affects your focus, your concentration, your memory, your
ability to learn, you know, your cognitive skills, all that stuff. Okay,

(19:29):
so they gave it to collagen and they were seeing
on these powerful imaging tools that the parts of the
brain involved with memory were growing back to a younger stage.
And as this happened, their memory improved, their memory came back.
So that's really cool. It shows that collagen makes key

(19:52):
parts of your brain, which is just I mean, that
would just be something very easy to guess if you
know what collagen is because it makes you. You're made
out of collagen. Now I normally use collagen for people's
spinal pain. Your spine is made out of collagen. Your
spine is a series of bones that are separated, and

(20:12):
then between them is a disc. It's a cushion, and
the cushion is filled with liquid and collagen. And then
the spinal bones are mostly collagen. They're called a spinal vertebrae.
And in the joints that hold them in place, they're
called facet joints. They're made out of collagen. So collagen
has been helpful for our clients that invite health with

(20:35):
back pain and neck pain. I also use collagen for
people who have arthritic knees and hips. And we're talking
about the most common type of arthritis called osteo arthritis.
Some people refer to it colloquially spit it out, Jerry

(20:57):
tough word. Just early in the morning and as we're
in teer arthritis. So that's kind of the cartilage in
the knees disappearing and the bones are starting to grind together.
And I tell you, Mit did the most interesting study
because it was over about six or seven years and

(21:18):
it was the same people, and they started them on
collagen and they saw that their knee pain went away.
So then two years later they're getting the same people
and they're doing all their x rays and everything, and
they saw that the knee did not get any worse.
So at first they gave them collagen. Knee pain went away.

(21:40):
They kept them on collagen, so they supplied it very
clean collagen like ours, same stuff basically, And two years
later they got them back in their clinic. They and
this is MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and they saw
that the knee did not progress, it did not get worse,
which is amazing because no drug does that. Regardless what

(22:01):
drug you take for your arthritic knee, celebratx, Advil, aspirind,
tyler and ol, it doesn't matter. None of them prevent
the from getting worse. But the people on collagen then
he did not get any worse. Then they brought him
back a third time two years after that, and there
was actual slight healing. There was actual some reversal of

(22:23):
their arthritic knee. Now that's amazing. That's over a six
year period. Normally you knee you would get much worse
over six years on the collagen. It was just the opposite.
The knee was improving. So I used the collagen all
the time for people with spinal problems. It's been very

(22:43):
helpful for them. We probably have about fifty or sixty
letters of people with spinal problems would the collagen helped them.
And I use collagen all the time for people with arthritis,
like in their thumb or their shoulder, what their hip,
or their knee. We're talking about osteoarthritis, you know, the
one where people get a knee replacement. They get all
those tennis players, those guys fifty eight years old, they've

(23:05):
been playing tennis. Tennis is rather rude on your knee.
So basically anybody who's been playing tennis for a long time,
they pretty much get one or both knees replaced. But
collagen will really help the knee. Listen, once you need

(23:25):
knee replacement, there's nothing to help anymore. Okay, But what's
happening is the cartilage is a cushion in the joint
and it's disappearing. It's on the end of the bone
and it prevents the bones from mashing together and isaac
cartilage and the cottage is wearing down and the bones
are getting uncovered and they're rubbing together. Collagen recreates the

(23:48):
cartilage in the joint, So we use a collagen for
your joints. We use a collagen for your spine. But
collagen also makes your bone. I mean, it's the second
most common ingredient in the body, so it just makes
sense that it's involved with bone and joint. So there's

(24:09):
more collagen in your bone than there is calcium. In fact,
that's what calcium attaches to. So if there's no collagen,
there's no place for your calcium and vitamin D to work.
You need collagen. And so many studies like Case Western Reserve, etc.
Have done studies and they've shown when you add collagen

(24:31):
to calcium and vitamin D, bones get stronger again. It
makes the bones and it also helps prevent the bones
from fracturing because it gives the bones the ability to
absorb shock. See what happens as you lose collagen with age.
Your bones stiffened. So if you fall down and hit
your forearm, it's more likely to shatter, it's more likely

(24:53):
to chip, it's more likely to break. But if you
have collagen in there, collagen absorbs the shock. It's like
a shock absorber. So not only is it the basis
for the coucin to go to in your bone, it
also absorbs the shock of the bone. So really important.
So collagen, you need it for your spine, you need
it for your bone, you need it for your joints.
But it's also the way you look because your skin

(25:15):
is mostly collagen, and a weird sugar called high aluronic
acid attaches to the collagen to make your skin. So
your skin is basically collagen about seventy percent of it,
and pretty much the rest of it is highaluronic acid. Now,
the other thing is your hair and nails are related.

(25:38):
So as you get older, your hair gets kind of
like fly away and it looks thinner and it's not
growing well and it's hard to comb. When you take collagen,
it thickens each strand of hair. Your hair gets healthier looking,
it behaves better, it looks younger. Your nails will grow
again because they're mostly collagen, collagen and cysteine and sulfur,

(26:00):
and you know, I mean that's basically your nails and
your skin. Your skin is mostly collagen now, I know,
compared to arthritis, having fewer wrinkles is not as big
a deal. But if you take the collagen for your
bones and your spine and your joints or whatever you

(26:20):
want to take it for, your looks will improve. Our
collagen has been used in many human clinical trials for
knee pain, for arthritis, for the skin, and they've shown
that wrinkles dissipate dramatically, like a third to fifty percent
of wrinkles improved dramatically, improved dramatically and not a long time.

(26:45):
You know, it's not cosmetic. You put on a cosmetic
you wash it off with a face cloth. This stuff
is real. It makes your skin thicker and healthier and juicier.
It gets rid of creepy skin. It really makes a difference.
So we have collagen powder, two of them. We have
collagen tablets. You can speak with our nutritionists and say, hey,

(27:05):
what's the right one for me, what's the right fit.
So collagen's for your bones, your joints, your skin, your hair,
your nails, your spine, and believe it or not, your
brain is made out of collagen too. Now I'm almost
at a time. Here's the deal. All the things I

(27:27):
spoke about al Cahr with Ala for your brain multi
energy plus as a powdered multi vitamin. If you have
trouble absorbing nutrients, collagen for your skin, hair, nails, bones,
and joint they're all on special today. I put them
on special and Amanda Williams will have her own specials.

(27:50):
So you listen after I disappear, because I'm going to

Speaker 3 (29:54):
Hello and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams, director of Science at Invite Help, and I
know you just had the pleasure of hearing from Jerry
Hickey talking all about collagen and multi energy powder this morning.
He's gonna power up and go do his gardening. And

(30:16):
it sounds like you have some nice weather to be
able to do that very big shift in the temperature there,
you guys, I have the South Florida weather apparently has
traveled up there, so I'm sure that that will be
nice for all of you who want to get out
get active. And that's the topic of today's show is,

(30:38):
you know, how do we gain more energy each day
to stay active. This is a common thing that comes
up when I'm talking to folks like well, you know, Amanda,
I would love to exercise more, I would love to
be in better shape. I want to do all the
right things, but I just don't have the energy, like
the motivation to want to do this. So can you

(31:00):
help me? And this is what is a wonderful thing
about Invite Health is that we have all of our
wellness advisors who can help give you that guidance because
we understand that it goes far beyond that of just
dietary supplementation, we have to look at that complete lifestyle
modification and this comes in many different parts. So we

(31:24):
have to look at, you know, the foods that you're eating,
what is your current exercise or activity level. You know,
some people hear the word exercise and it automatically makes
you cringe. So you have to find ways to get
moving and to increase your energy output every day. Now

(31:44):
we know that we can turn to different nutrients that
can certainly help to facilitate that, that can give us
that extra little pep to our step every day. And
so I have some of those formulations on special today,
including the the Performance multi vitamin, which clearly we know
that when it comes to you know, lifestyle modifications and

(32:08):
when we're looking at that whole big picture, we need
to zero in on the fact that we know that
our foods, even if you're eating very healthy, are not
going to be giving you the adequate exposure to key
vitamins and mineral So having a comprehensive multi vitamin multimineral

(32:28):
is so critical to you know, really allowing the cells
to have that ability to make that energy and have
it be sustainable energy. So the Performance multivitamin certainly gets
us over the hump and beyond because then it has
the added rodeola extract in it. We know that that

(32:49):
adrenal adaptogenic herb does so much when it comes to
the way that our body can respond to daily stressors.
And at the same time, it really helps to generate ATP,
which is the main sell energy that we want to
be able to produce each and every single day. So
the performance multividument. I have that on special today. I

(33:12):
have our nucleotide complex on special because sometimes this is
overlooked in our product line for just the immune system
and for you know, cold and flu season. But the
nucleotides do a wonderful job at that energy production. So
and it makes sense we'll talk about the science behind that.

(33:32):
I have the energy HX also on special today. That's
the partnering of the e conica you biq when all
coenzyme q ten, remember that's that bioidentical form of co
Q ten. The body makes coenzyme q ten each day.
But we know that that manufacturing of coenzyme q ten

(33:52):
begins to get blunted or it starts to go down
once we hit yeah, about thirty years old time you're forty,
you know, you're really struggling to produce high amounts of
coenzyme q ten each day.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
And then if we.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
Look at different disease states that can also compromise coenzyme
q ten production or medications, for example, statins, then we
clearly know that coke ten supplementation very important. So when
you're taking the performance multibitem and you're getting co q
ten in that, but you oftentimes will need additional coenzyme

(34:29):
q ten. So energy HX is that wonderful partnering of
the gin saying along with that bioidentical the exact same
form the structure and function of our natural made coenzyme
q ten. So we'll get into all of that. Speaking
of manufacturing, there was something that was big in the

(34:51):
news this week, made a lot of national headlines, and
that was that there was a company that had to
pull all of their multi vitamins this week due to
a problem in their labeling of their product. This is
a company out in Utah and their multi vitamin contained

(35:14):
a potential allergen that was not listed on their label.
The reason why I want to bring this up is
because if you've listened to to Jerry Hickey through the
years on this show and myself. You know, the importance
that we stress when it comes to the steps that

(35:37):
we take at Invite Health to assure that what is
listed on our product labels is what you're getting, and purity, potency,
the sourcing of those raw materials, the partnering that we
have with our manufacturers, it's so key, and so when

(35:59):
I see a story like this, you know, it's it's
very problematic first and foremost, because you have to look
and say, you know, how how did something like this
get overlooked, you know, internally by the company, but also
by their contract manufacturers. So there's you know, there's truth

(36:20):
to to the fact that in this world of vitamins
and minerals, we have to recognize that there are leaders
in this industry, Invite Health being that leader. And then
there's a lot of companies out there that maybe are
cutting corners. So I have this conversation with folks often

(36:41):
because you know, maybe they've heard of a particular company
or a product, and I say, you know, well, what
do you think about this? You know, what's the quality
of this product? And I'm always very you know upfront,
when you know someone sends me. I get a lot
of emails or people say, oh, I heard about this product.
What do you think? And if it's something I haven't

(37:01):
heard about, then I do my due diligence and I
research it so that I can give you a very
comprehensive answer as to you know, is this something that's good?
Is it something that's maybe not so great. So this
is something that we take so much pride in at
Invite Health. Is the way in which we take this
steady handed approach to all of our formulas and we

(37:25):
don't just willy nilly throw things together. We take the
time to understand how nutrans when we blend them together,
how they're going to work, and then how they are absorbed,
what is the best way that we then manufacture those
new trants and you know, testing that out for the

(37:46):
purity and for the potency, and we get the certificate
of analysis on each one of our formulations so that
we always can you know, rest assure for you that
what is on our laby is what is actually in
our products. So it's just one of those things once
again that when it comes to supplementation, you want to

(38:09):
be going with a company that has been doing this
for close to thirty years now, so as you know,
the world of nutraceuticals has certainly expanded over the past decade,
but it really does matter to your wellness that you
are using high potency, high purity formulations and that's what

(38:34):
Invite Health provides you. So when you're using our energy HX,
you know that that ginsing that's in that formulation has
been studied, has been tested, and the potency, the purity
of that partnering that up with that Kanica ubiquinal is
going to be able to potentiate that benefit of driving
up sell energy for you. So always keep that in mind.

(38:59):
So I have all these different products that are on
special today that really you know, zero in on energy
and how this energy can then make us more active,
have the you know, encouragement of the cells to produce
that energy so that we do feel much more peppier,

(39:20):
so that we do want to go out and do
some more exercising in whatever form that may be. I
always say, exercise doesn't mean that you have to you know,
make this big to do about it and you know,
go drive yourself to a gym and go lift weights.
Exercise is going to be different for each person and

(39:44):
if you need help trying to figure out, you know,
what's the best way for me to get active, then
reach out to one of our wellness advisors. They're available
seven days a week and they're incredibly passionate about what
they do each day and they to help people. So
do take advantage of that. As I always say, that's

(40:04):
a free service, and it's incredibly valuable to your wellness journey.
And whatever your goals may be. You know, it may
be that you are dealing with some blood sugar issues,
or blood pressure issues, or elevated cholesterol, or perhaps you're
trying to lose weight or a combination of all of those.

(40:27):
In any event, we know that we can help get
you on the right path when it comes to your
wellness goals. And this I always say, it's many different
moving parts and it may seem overwhelming in the beginning.
We get that, but we have been doing this for

(40:48):
so long that we really do take this personalized approach
to giving you the tools that you need to be
able to feel like your best self. And that's key.
You know, I've been working with individuals and some of
my clients have been working with for so many years

(41:10):
now and to see those transitions of you know, when
they first started coming to me and you know, working
with me and where they're at now. You know, it
really is it's just like a night and day difference.
And you know, this is what keeps me going every
day because I love to make that difference in someone's
life and this is something that all of us at

(41:32):
Invite Health really truly enjoy doing. So you know, if
you do have a question, please don't hesitate to ask.
You can always stop by one of our stores. You
can go to our website and sign up for a
free nutrition consultation with one of our wellness advisors. They are,
you know, definitely ready to answer any of your questions

(41:54):
and to get you on that right path. So, so
I have the nucleotie complex, as I mentioned on special.
I'm going to talk about the science on that one
after the break because it's really fascinating to understand. Number one,
what are you know nucleotides and how is it that
if you supplement with our nucleotide complex that this is

(42:17):
not only beneficial for your immune system, but it really
does help to drive up this nice sustained energy for
you throughout the day. And remember that's the type of
energy that we're looking for. We're looking for energy that's
nice and level. We don't want to have these spikes,
kind of like with blood sugar. You don't want to
have peaks and valleys in your blood sugar. You want

(42:38):
to have that be nice and steady across the board
throughout the day. Same thing with energy. We want to
have our cells having the ability to generate that energy
for us throughout the day, not just you know, being
hopped up on caffeine that lasts for you know, maybe
a half an hour and then we come crashing back down.

(42:58):
So this is why I have these different formulations on
special today, including the oral coenzyme Q ten. This is
a really handy formulation to go to because it's a
chewable coenzyme Q ten and it's partnered with dimethyl glysing,
which is incredibly important for so many different functions in
the body. And I'll talk about the science on that

(43:19):
as well. I am looking at the clock and I
realize I must squeeze in a break. So you are

am doctor Amanda Williams, and I know it's a big

(44:45):
holiday weekend, so with Passover wrapping up tomorrow and Easter
being tomorrow, I hope everyone is going to have an
enjoyable holiday weekend, and it sounds like it's going to
be nice, some warm there, so no excuses. Get out
and you know, get some movement, get some movement. And

(45:08):
there was an interesting study that just came out this
week as part of the UK's government's commitment to mental
health and looking at different initiatives that they could implement
to tackle this. And we know that here in the

(45:28):
United States we also have a problem with folks who
are incredibly stressed out and you know, higher rates of
anxiety and depression. So this is a problem in many
parts of the world. But this was a fascinating study

(45:48):
that was conducted over in the UK, and they were
looking at nature based programs and activities for patients who
were dealing with mild to moderate mental health issues, and
they could see a significant improvement in their overall mood

(46:08):
and you know, lessening of anxiety just in a few
weeks from doing these community based nature activities. And I've
talked about this before because I'm very much into mindfulness
and the power of the brain. Sometimes I feel as
though we overlook that, you know, many years ago I

(46:31):
got certified through the Center for Mind Body Medicine, and
I recognized that while I was doing many things just
very good as far as my diet, my exercise, there
was one big piece of that puzzle that was missing

(46:52):
for myself, and that was, you know, managing my stress.
So you know, I've been able to turn to different
mindankfulness techniques that really help me. You know, if I
have one of those days, and everyone does and it's
okay to have those days, but it's amazing to me
how these different techniques that don't take long. By the way,

(47:15):
it's not like you have to pencil out two hours
into your calendar to decompress, I mean five minutes, and
it can make an astronomical difference. So in this this
study they were looking at, you know, if we just
get people out into nature, you know, if they're just
out and in touch with nature, what a difference that

(47:36):
can make. And this can be difficult sometimes, I get it,
especially if you're living there in the city and you think,
you know, as they say, the concrete jungle there. But
it's so important, it's so important to go outdoors and
to you know, just take in nature because it really

(47:58):
can help when it comes to to balancing out your
sympathetic nervous system and that parasympathetic nervous system. And I
always say most Americans are on a sympathetic overdrive and
the parasympathetic nervous system, which we're we need to be
able to pump the brakes and say, okay, let's just

(48:18):
kind of calm down. Is not really working. It's like
you need to take your car and get new brake pads.
It's kind of like the perfect example of how most
Americans are dealing with their stressors. So using mindfulness techniques,
being in touch with nature, they really can make a difference.
And then we can also look at different nutrients like

(48:39):
phospatitle seering for example, which I have on special today.
Remember all of the products that are on special, they're
on a buy one, get one free. But then if
you use the promo code when you call in, or
if you're on the website, or if you stop by
one of the stores, do be sure that you mentioned
Amanda war because you'll get an additional ten percent off.
So you know, make sure that you do that because

(49:01):
savings are a wonderful thing. So when it comes to
fostatitle searing. We know that this very important phospholip it
so it's a key fat and the way in which
it's working to not only enhance acetyl coaline release and
that's our key neurotransmitter when it comes to memory, but

(49:23):
it's also really key to the way that the HPA
access is working. So that's your hypothalmis pituitary adrenal access.
And if we have higher amounts of stress, this can
be incredibly problematic for your postatitle searing levels. So this

(49:44):
is why when we're looking at, you know, ways to
incorporate in different supplements, fostatitle searing definitely a wonderful way
to you know, fight the effects of an aging brain
because it helps neuroplasticity, which is the ability of the

(50:04):
neurons and the brain. So that's your brain cells to
go through and say, oh wow, this one over here,
this one's really dinged up. We need to clean this
up and let's make new ones at the same time.
So we have to have phosphatyle searing for this memory
function and for neural plasticity. We like to have that

(50:24):
good cell to cell communication happening within the brain. And
so when we look at phosphatyle searin and the effects
of phosphatiyal seirin supplementation. Certainly it's been studied in the
setting of dementia and Alzheimer's disease, but also it's been
studied in detail when it comes to the effects of

(50:48):
how it works to mitigate stress. And you've heard myself
as well as Jerry talked about the many different studies
that have been conducted with phospatitle seirin and how it
can lower stress levels. Actually in the Journal of Stress,
which is a great name for a journal, right, So
in the Journal of Stress back in two thousand and four,
they looked at this. They looked at the effects of

(51:11):
supplementing with pospatitle searing on the endocrine systems that's your
hormone system in the response to any type of psychological stressors.
And remember, if you have any type of an emotional
stressor that's going to affect your physical well being. We

(51:32):
can see this clearly if someone is stressed out, what's
the impact that that has on your blood sugar level,
what's the impact that that has on your blood pressure level.
So these are the reasons why we turn to a
study like this done in two thousand and four, and
we look at how phosphotitle searing, that supplementation of that,

(51:53):
the difference that that can make, and the testing measures
that they did within this study was so impressive because
they took individuals who came into the study saying, yeah,
you know what, I do have a lot of stress,
I do feel like I'm kind of on edge, and
I have you know, brain fog, I feel anxious whatever,

(52:13):
you know, those qualifiers were, and just through supplementation of
phosphatitle searing, we could see this significant decrease in their
overall stress level. Now, the total amount of phosphatityle searing
that was utilized in this study from back in two

(52:36):
thousand and four was four hundred milligrams. So what's interesting
is you look at the Invite Health phosphatitle searing and
you say, okay, I can see now why I would
want to be supplementing with this every day. Now, what's
the best way to take this? Generally speaking, two capsules

(52:58):
is usually sufficient. Now someone's having a much higher amount
of stress, or perhaps you have to go in and
you have to do a presentation, maybe you'll do three
or four capsules. This is when you want to talk
to to one of our nutritional experts so that you're
taking the right amount for your specific needs. But the
science behind phosphatyl seerine really very impressive, and in the

(53:23):
Journal of neuro Endochronology back in nineteen ninety they talked
about this. They look at that phosphatityle seerine activity on
the neuroendocrine system. What's the neuroendocrine system, or we're looking
at our hormone system and the brain and looking at

(53:43):
how phosphatyl seirine is working to regulate epineffrin and nor epinefforne,
and dopamine levels and adrenal cordicotropin hormone, so all of
these ways that we know that this really important. Fat Remember,
it's held to keep the structure of your brain cells.
So if you have dinged up brain cells, we want

(54:05):
to fix that so we have that neuroplasticity action. But
it also is helping to regulate that neuroendocrine system. So
it's really just a it's a wonderful, wonderful formulation. And
I must tell you that whenever I talk to someone about,
you know, adding in phosphatyl searing to their routine they're like, oh, okay, well,
I can see why this would be important. It's already

(54:26):
in the body, and you know, as we get older,
maybe we don't have enough. So okay, y'all start supplementing
with this, and then they come back within a week
and they're like, you know, this is this a placebo effect?
Because I really can see a significant difference in how
I feel like my anxiety levels have gone down. I
feel much you know, crisper in the brain. And this

(54:46):
is what we expect. We expect to see this when
you are supplementing with phosphatidyl searing. So I digress. I said,
I was going to come back from the break and
talk about nucleotide So let me get to the nucleotides
want in the world or nuclear tides. Well, when we
look at our DNA and our RNA, so we're thinking

(55:06):
genetics here. And I always say people most of the
time can recognize that double helix that you see whenever
you're hearing about you know, cellular DNA or do you
think of the human Genome project from all those years ago,
which they're still actively working on. But we look at
the nucleic acids, those are the main things that determine

(55:31):
how a cell is going to do its job, it
is through those nucleic acids. So when we're supplementing with
those nucleotides like in the invite nucleotide complex, this helps
to not only support the immune system because it's going
in and it's activating the immune cells so that they

(55:54):
can work much more efficiently to fight off any type
of athogen that comes our way, but at the same time,
it's also helping to regulate the stress response and generate energy,
so kind of similar to when we're looking at phosphatidyl
syrian and when we're looking at rodiola extract. In the

(56:15):
Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, they looked at the
physiological effects of nucleotide supplementation on men and women who
were going through and doing resistance exercise training, and through
that resistance exercise training, there was a higher level of
stress that was being detected in the system. And they said, okay, well,

(56:36):
let's look and see if nucleotide supplements can actually blunt
the effects of that cortisol impact and help with a
quicker recovery after that resistance exercise. And they were looking
at the blood levels, so they looked at twenty four hours,

(56:57):
forty eight hours, seventy two hours, and you could see
how the nucleotide supplementation resulted in a significant decrease in
that excessive cortisol level, so they could see that coming down.
You could see how milo peroxidase levels were coming down.
So all of these different markers that we know drive

(57:17):
up oxidative stress and inflammation and can really wear out
our system. So while the exercise component is good, right,
we need to exercise, but we also have to recognize
some of those stressors that can be kind of complicating factors.
So this is why we have so many athletes who

(57:39):
use our nucleotide complex because they can see that noticeable difference.
So they're out and they're pushing their bodies to the extremes,
but when they are supplementing with our nucleotide complex, they
find that that recovery time after the high endurance output
is much much quicker. And then, of course we know

(58:00):
that if you're going to be going on a cruise,
or if you're going you know, on vacation, or if
you already feel like you're coming down with something nucleotides,
this is definitely what you want to have on board.
We know the true benefit of taking those nucleotides when
it comes to our immune system in the way in
which it's working within the GI tract. So a really

(58:23):
fascinating study was done about twenty years ago showing the
impact of dietary nucleotide supplementation on individuals who have IBS
so irritable bowel syndrome. So I want to talk about
that study, but I'm looking at the clock and I
realize I do need to squeeze in another break, So

(58:47):
stick around with me. I will be right back just
after this. Listening to this radio show makes learning and

(01:00:01):
I am doctor Amanda Williams. Happy Saturday morning. Sounds like
it's gonna be a hot one there. We've been having
quite warm weather down here in South Florida as well,
which is to be expected for April and South Florida.
And it's you know, we're just a couple of weeks
away from when the heat is on down here, and

(01:00:25):
that means the daytime temperature starts to match the evening temperature.
And that's never a fun thing.

Speaker 2 (01:00:30):
But I shall not.

Speaker 3 (01:00:33):
Complain, because I do enjoy the sunshine now. Nucleotide supplementation,
this is an area of research that really gained a
lot of momentum, you know, many many moons ago. They
recognize that in premies, so in neo natal units, that

(01:00:55):
when they gave neonates nucleotides that this really hoped with
their growth and with their immune defenses. And we already
know that prem babies that's a huge concern because they
have an underdeveloped immune system. So nucleotide supplementation, this is
something that's been ongoing in you know, neonate units across

(01:01:20):
the country. So you say, well, if this can help
a you know, a pre MEI baby, what else can
this stuff do? And this is where you have these
really fascinating studies that have been conducted on nucleotide supplementation
in the setting of athletic performance and exercise as well

(01:01:42):
as this really really interesting study that was done in
individuals who have irritable bowel syndrome. So this was a randomized,
double blind, placebo controlled trial and it was called the
intest aid IB That was oftentimes the researchers like to

(01:02:03):
name their studies and like the arid study that was
looking at, you know, for all of the corotenoids and
eye health. So this is called the intestade IB study,
and they were looking to see if giving individuals who
were dealing with irritable bowel syndrome nucleotides, if this would

(01:02:25):
help you know, since people who have irritable bowel syndrome,
you know, tend to have all of these you know,
contributing factors, you know, stress, maybe diet isn't the best
and low energy state. So they thought, well, let's let's
give this a whirl. So they started to give these

(01:02:45):
individuals who all have been diagnosed with irritable bowel nucleotides.
And then you had a group who was given place
Ebo and they started to look at the you know,
not only the physiological measurements, but also the psychological measurements,
because for many individuals who have irritable bowel you will

(01:03:06):
see kind of a comorbid underlying mental health component to that,
whether that you know, shows up in the form of
anxiety or depression. Because sometimes for folks who are dealing
with IBS, they become almost all consumed by this condition

(01:03:27):
and they're worried to go out because oh gosh, am
I going to be near a bathroom? You know what
if I have about of, you know, diarrhea and I'm
out out shopping or you know, so it becomes kind
of a it consumes their their thoughts and it will
start to make them alter their normal activity. So this
was a really fascinating part to this study was seeing

(01:03:50):
the impact that the nucleotide supplementation was having on not
just the physiological effect and the improvement of the gut
health and working within the microbiome, but was the psychological
effects of those dietary nucleotides. And they suggest, you know

(01:04:13):
that for folks who have IDs, taking nucleotides would be
incredibly advantagious. So this is why I like to mention
this product in that setting beyond that of just cold
and flu season, because many times when myself or Jerry

(01:04:34):
are talking about the nucleotides will say, oh, you know,
if you feel like you're coming down with something, you
need to be taking the nucleotide complex. You take you know,
six capsules, you know, twice a day. If you already
feel like something is upon you, you know, maybe you
have that scratchiness in your throat, or you're just feeling
like your sinuses are starting to get backed up, then
we go with a high amount of those nucleotides. We

(01:04:56):
want to get that quick gut turnover of our GI cells.
But then if we're looking at these other conditions, whether
we're dealing with chronic fatigue, syndrome, whether we have anxiety
because we have irritable bowel syndrome, if we have higher
amounts of stress just in general, and that affects our
digestive health. Taking nucleotide complex every day very wise. Maybe

(01:05:20):
you don't have any of those things, and that's a
wonderful thing. But maybe you're big into exercising and really
pushing your body to the limits, then taking the nucleotides
for that recovery very helpful. So how many should you
be taking? This really comes down to what your specific
concerns are, and this is when you want to reach
out to one of our wellness advisors and they can

(01:05:42):
give you that guidance. So the nucleotide complex that is
on special today, as I always mentioned to folks, if
you are going to be traveling. I was actually just
talking to one of my longtime clients from here in
South Florida this week, and there's something going around down
here in South flord It's like a viral bronchitis. And

(01:06:05):
so in any event, she came down with something and
she was so irritated by this because she is a
regular supplementer, but she had stopped taking her her supplements
for about two weeks because she had to go in
for a procedure and her doctor was being very very

(01:06:25):
particular that she had to stop taking everything. And she says, oh, man,
I wish I wouldn't have done that, because you know,
I think it just opened up, you know, the door,
because then she was stressed out she had to go
have this procedure done, and so it opened up that
door for her immune system to kind of be very
opportunity for this virus to enter in and take hold. So,

(01:06:49):
you know, we talked about her using the nucleotides which
she's on, and actually just talked to her yesterday and
she's feeling much better. But she's going to be taking
a big trip. And I always tell anyone if you're
going on a trip, maybe you're heading over to Europe
or you're going on a cruise, there's a couple of
things that you want to make sure that you bring.
You know, you might forget your toothbrush, you can go

(01:07:11):
buy one of those, but make sure that you are
bringing these three things with you for sure. When you're traveling.
You want to have your nucleotie complex, your probiotic HX,
and the green tea TX that's like your little triple
travel pack. You want to make sure that you have those. Now.

(01:07:32):
Of course we want to have elthy and ene as
well and take your multivitamin. But when it comes to
the immune defenses, that's a wonderful blend to have is
the probiotic HX nucleotide complex green t TX. So if
you're going to be traveling by air, we want to
make sure that you know we are protecting our immune system.

(01:07:54):
You're maybe eating different foods that your body's not exactly
accustomed to.

Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
Just want to.

Speaker 3 (01:08:01):
Support our microbiome. So this triple travel pack is what
you want to be taking with you. So green TTX
nucleotide complex probiotic checks. Now, let me continue on another
area that I find to be really important to not

(01:08:23):
overlook more thinking about how can we get more energy.
Many folks are dealing with some degree of insulin resistance,
even though you may not even be aware of that,
because the likelihood that your doctor tested your fasting insulin
levels is very very low. Doctors test fasting glucose, not

(01:08:44):
fasting insulin. Insulin is the issue. So if you think
about diabetes, what is a type one diabetic? They don't
make insulin a type two diabet what's their main pathology.
They've become incredibly insulin resistance. So you say, okay, insulin,

(01:09:10):
why don't we test that? Why aren't we looking at
the fasting insulin?

Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
You should.

Speaker 3 (01:09:16):
So next time you go to your doctor and they're
running standard blood testing, say hey, can you also test
my insulin levels? Because if you have insulin resistance, this
will be just hammering away at your cells ability to
make energy. Plus it's putting you on a fast track
to becoming, you know, a full blown pre diabetic or

(01:09:39):
a type two diabetic. So test your fasting insulin. Now,
why do I mention this in this setting of energy
and staying active? Because if your body is struggling with
the proper release of insulin and we have a higher

(01:10:00):
amount of glucose that's now circulating through our system because
insulin was being too lazy to come up and push
that glucose level down, hence the resistance of insulin, this
is going to announce start to affect cell function because
now we can succumb to glycation. So an age is

(01:10:21):
what we call them. It ages your cell age. It's
advanced glycation end products. Not that we have to be
that technical just say, high glucose ages my cells. Why
because it drives up to inflammation, It coats your nerves
as an example, and it can create such a level

(01:10:42):
of destruction that these cells lose that capacity to make energy.
So taking a formulation like glucos which is our comprehensive
blended formulation to help regulate blood glucose levels and help
to enhance insulin sensitivity is something that I oftentimes turn

(01:11:07):
to with folks who are dealing with low energy states.
We want to make sure that every time we eat,
we're not creating this cycle of having excess glucose going
through driving down our energy, and then we have a
cortisol response to that which then even worsens insulin resistance

(01:11:29):
more So, this is why GLUCOHX and the powerful combination
within GLUCOHX is something I turn to when we're thinking
about energy, because this is going to allow your body
to have this really nice ability to better control and
regulate the way in which we react and respond to

(01:11:54):
the foods that we're eating. So GLUCOHX partners up all
of these key nutrients that we know have been studied
and shown to be effective in enhancing insulin sensitivity, and
that's what we want. We want that insulin to be
able to react to that rise in glucose. So this

(01:12:16):
has fenugreek, it has bitter melon extract in, it has
gymnemma silvestre. All of these different nutrients, the greek, bitter melon,
and gymnma. They're working to support the pancreatic beta cells.
So in your pancreas you have different cells. The beta
cells are what release insulin. So we take this triple

(01:12:38):
nutrient of fenugreek, bitter melon, and gymnemma and we partner
them all up together and then they work synergistically to say, hey,
we need to release some insulin here. And then this
is partnered with chromium and vanadium, those very important trace
minerals that help to naturally enhance your insulin release. And

(01:13:02):
then there's alfalopoic acid to go through and target those ages,
those advanced glycation end products. So alfalopoc acid one of
the body's most important antioxidants. So you're taking glucohx for
that purpose. You take glucohx to allow your cells to

(01:13:23):
have this heightened level of protection from advanced glycation end
products and to better regulate your insulin release. So thinking
along the lines of staying active as we get older,
adding in GLUCOHX taking one capsule ideally about fifteen minutes

(01:13:47):
before you eat, can really help when it comes to
your overall cell energy production. So that's on special today
as well. So I do need to squeeze in one
final break. When I get back from that, I want
to talk about our oral coenzyme Q ten and why
dimethyl glysine is so important. And so this is such

(01:14:07):
a great product to turn to because you're getting not
only the power of coenzyme q ten, but it's partnered
up with DMG, so you don't want to miss out
on what DMG is actually doing. So stick around. I
will be right back just after this. Listening to this

eight hundred six three two zero five seven to two,

(01:15:30):
and welcome back to Invite Health Radio. Just talked about
the glucose HX, excellent choice for anyone that knows that
they have some underlying blood sugar issues. Maybe you've been
told by your doctor, h watch your sugar intake, and
let's you know, cut to the chase and just call

(01:15:52):
it for what it is. Most of the time doctors
don't really understand when they say, oh, you need to
watch your sugar, and then they're advices. Just avoid all
of the white things. Just don't eat white bread, don't
eat sugar, uh, don't eat white rice. I mean that's
kind of the stock answer for most doctors when they're

(01:16:13):
giving dietary advice. Remember, doctors don't have a background in nutrition,
and certainly when it comes to healthy eating, most doctors
don't have a clue. I always say, I say that
with confidence because I went through that. So four years

(01:16:38):
of medical school, zero nutrition, So did learn I always say,
did learn about scurvy, you know, and rickets. So we
looked at, you know, vitamin deficiencies, but did not talk
about the Mediterranean diet by any means. So always keep

(01:17:01):
that in mind when you are needing guidance for how
you should be eating what you should be eating. Probably
the last place you want to go to is to
your doctor and talk to them about that. Stop by,
invite help, talk to one of our wellness advisors who
all understand what healthy eating actually means and why adherence

(01:17:27):
to a Mediterranean diet is the best choice across the board.
So I always say, we want to age as gracefully
as possible. Mediterranean that's the way to go now. GLUCOHX
excellent choice to add in. I said, if you have

(01:17:47):
the issues with blood sugar, are ready, or if you
just have concerns that Yeah, you know what, maybe my
diet isn't the best. Maybe I do have a higher
intake of some bad carbs throughout the week. Gluc goche's
excellent choice. Now, let's talk about our oral coq ten formulation,
which has dimethyl glycine in it. And dimethyl glycine is

(01:18:13):
incredibly important. You know, it's always amazing when you look
at the function of different molecules and enzymes in the
human body, why they exist and what their true function is.
And so this is where dimethyl glycine this really important

(01:18:37):
anti aging and healing nutrient that's derived from the amino
acid glycine, and our body uses dimethyl glycine pretty much
every moment of every single day in all of these
different metabolic pathways. So when you're looking at overall metabolism,

(01:19:01):
when we're looking at the production of neurotransmitters, when we
look at how our DNA. Just talked about the nucleotide complex,
but when we look at how our DNA is functioning,
when we look at hormones detoxification, dimethyl glycine has a

(01:19:21):
part in all of these, and we know we have
to have dimethyl glycine for glutathione production. You've all heard
us talk about glutathione, one of the bodies most important antioxidants,
especially when we're looking at the liver and daily detoxification
that occurs protecting our liver from all of the different

(01:19:44):
things I talked about pfas last weekend. So those forever chemicals,
the microplastics, all of these things, dimethyl glycine. If we
don't have enough dimethyl glycine in our system, the liver
is going to struggle to naturally enough glut to thione
to help kick out all of those toxins. So we

(01:20:08):
look at a formulation like the oral coenzyme Q ten,
which has dimethyl glycin in it, which is essential to
these over forty different biochemical processes in the body. Dimethyl
glycin is needed for all of our seventy trillion cells

(01:20:28):
in the body for proper nutrient absorption to allow the
body to produce energy. And we also know that as
we get older, just like coenzyme Q ten, as we
grow older, the body becomes less efficient at making dimethyl

(01:20:53):
glycine naturally. So we can clearly see that when you
have low dimethyl glycine levels in your system that this
is a big open door for problems such as diabetes.
And there was a fascinating, fascinating study that was done

(01:21:17):
and published in the Diabetes Journal in twenty fifteen. So
we're talking this is ten years old. Now. I would
wager that if you talk to most endocrinologists, certainly any
family practice doctor, an internal medicine doctor, and you said,

(01:21:41):
what do you know about dimethyl glycine and is it
important for me? I am a diabetic, so is this
important for me when it comes to regulating my blood sugar?
If you were to present that case to your doctor,
they probably look at you like you're from owners. But
yet in the Diabetes Journal in twenty fifteen, we see this,

(01:22:06):
We see.

Speaker 1 (01:22:07):
How this.

Speaker 3 (01:22:09):
Partnering of different research institutes from Harvard, they did this
study over at mass General, they did this at Vanderbilt
down in Nashville, they did this over in Sweden. So
you have all of these different data points, and they

(01:22:30):
were looking at dimethyl glycine deficiency. If someone doesn't have
enough dimethyl glycine in their system, can this lead to
the development or exacerbation of diabetes? And through this collection
of data looking at dimethyl glycine levels and looking at hemoglobin,

(01:22:54):
a one c levels. Looking at fast and glucose levels,
they can clearly see consistent data points showing this causal
roll that dimethyl glycine deficiency, so low levels of dimethyl
glycine can lead to diabetes. And they also were able

(01:23:15):
to determine that supplementation with dimethyl glycine could prove to
be useful for the treatment and prevention of diabetes. So
I look at a study like this and it leaves
me scratching my head, where I say, okay, invite health.
We have this wonderful formulation. We have oral coenzyme Q

(01:23:37):
ten which has dimethyl glycine in it. Now, if someone
were to take that bottle to their traditional doctor and say,
what do you think about this product? What do you
think your doctor would tell you? Your doctor would probably tell you, Oh,
you don't need that, No, you don't need that. What
do you need to do? Oh, just avoid eating white bread.

(01:23:59):
So this is kind of my point to this study.
Let's just say, when it comes to your energy, when
it comes to balancing out our system, when we look
at all of the different factors that can be problematic

(01:24:19):
for us, and then we look at solutions known solutions
of just creating balance again and looking at a formulation
like oral coenzyme Q ten with that dimethyl glysing built
into it. This is a go to when it comes
to blood sugar support and energy. So I went over
a lot of different things. The energy HX. Didn't get

(01:24:41):
into too much detail on that ginseng, but we know
that that can help drive the energy production. The performance
multi vitamin phosphatityl searing have that GLUCOHX and the nucleotides
on special. I wish everyone a very enjoyable holiday weekend.
