Ken Rosato fills in for Mark Simone. Some California wildfire responses have faced criticism after claims that access restrictions in certain protected areas were due to liberals' limited early firefighting efforts, though these allegations are still under review, and officials cite weather and dry conditions as key factors in the fires’ spread. President Trump signed an executive order making Dec. 24 and Dec. 26 federal closure days for 2025, giving federal workers additional time off around Christmas without permanently changing the holiday calendar. Crude oil prices have dropped to under $55 a barrel. Gas has fallen below $3.00 in most parts of the country. Gas prices falling could help the consumer save more money in the future.  Ken Rosato fills in for Mark Simone. Recent developments in the Brown University shooting indicate that Claudio Manuel Neves Valente killed an MIT professor before dying by suicide. President Trump has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the BBC, alleging that the network edited two separate portions of his January 6th, 2021, speech in which he was accused of inciting the attack on the Capitol building. Now the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WR Filling
in for Mark.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Here's Ken Rosatto.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
And a very good morning to you. The end of
the week is here. Yes, please excuse the frog in
my throat. I was on a plane the other day
and of course everybody around me was hacking up along
and I say, I'm going to get something. I know
it so with me. It settles in my vocal cords.
It always has And don't worry about it doesn't hurt,
feels fine. It just sounds kind of weird. So I

(00:28):
don't think. Who is this. It's Brenda Vicaro coming to
you live anyway, It's good to be here. Six days
till Christmas. You could feel the spirit in the air.
Three more days of Hanukkah. Mark is off today. Hope
you enjoy your time off. Brother. Ken Rosatto in and
we have a lot to talk about. First off, did
you guys hear about what is going on in Los Angeles?

(00:49):
It is unbelievable now with the fires that they had
there earlier in the year. Apparently firefighters wanted to go
in to investigate this one of the mountain where there
was smoke, but because of environmentalist wackos who control that
part of California. The California State Parks had restricted firefighting

(01:13):
operations in an area that is designated an avoidance area.
See because in the mind of a liberal environmentalist, In
an environmentalist brain, you don't matter. Humans come ninety seventh
on the list of importance. It's about the uga uga
fish and the maluluca tree and nature and earth, and

(01:35):
you are scum. You shouldn't even be here. How dare
you be part of the world? You human? So this
is the liberal environmentalist mind at work. And so as
a result the fire, where the firefighters wanted to go
in and investigate the smoke, it was allowed to fester,
and that is likely what led to a much larger

(01:56):
fire that resulted in deaths and billions of dollars of
property damage, destroying a good chunk of that beautiful part
of southern California. Once again, liberals destroying a beautiful thing
because they are just nuts. For them, environmentalism is not
a cause. It is a religion. Many of the arch

(02:16):
liberals don't have religion in their minds, in their hearts,
so they have substituted things like environmentalism for their faith.
As a result, if you try to tell them that
they're crazy that climate changes and naturally cause thing. It's
like if you're Christian, them telling you, you know, Jesus
is just a myth. I mean it hits you the heart,
to the heart, right to the core. Or saying to

(02:38):
somebody who's Jewish, you know the whole thing was made
up six thousand years ago. I mean it's offensive, it's
somebody sensitive to the core. It is something you feel.
And for an environmentalist, this is what environmentalism is to them.
It is a religion. So they don't care. They don't
care if thousands of humans are put at risk, if

(03:00):
thousands of homes are destroyed, because this is an avoidance area.
Don't you understand we have to protect our wildlife here.
And the result was billions and damage. But this is
what happens when you let liberals take charge. Seven to
ten WR The Voice of New York, hen Risotto went
from Mark on your Friday, what confusion in the Brown

(03:21):
University case? Sorry, let's go over try to summarize it,
because I kind of went over my notes today and
I thought, what the heck does this all mean? So
this is what I got. The suspect in the Brown
University mass shooting now appears to have killed himself. Pardon me.
His name is Claudio Valente. He's a forty eight year
old former Brown student. He was there one year in

(03:44):
the early two thousands. He is a Portuguese national, but
he came here legally. He was found dead from self
inflicted wounds gunshot to that other who shot himself at
a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire, and next to
him was a satchel firearms and evidence matching the crime scene.
Now investigators say they have no idea why the suspect

(04:05):
targeted the university, but officials say Valente killed two students
and injured nine others, and also traveled fifty miles away
to Brookline, Massachusetts and killed a an MIT professor whom
he knew. And he may have even studied with this
guy in Portugal and may have been a roommate of

(04:26):
this guy either in Portugal or at Brown University. So
they're still trying to put together the details. But nonetheless
something to point out that Nevis was admitted into the
US legally but under the very liberal diversity DV one
visa program that appears to be totally out of control. Basically,
if you apply with this program, you're in. It's also

(04:48):
called the Green Card Lottery. It was meant to quote
diversify the US, because we're clearly not a divers nation
right now. In case you haven't checked, fifty five thousand
people take part in this lottery a year. But the
Homeland Security Secretary says she is now recommending to the
President that the program be paused. And you can understand why.

(05:08):
It's because these people aren't getting vetted. It's like, well,
if we can't go in this door, let's go in
that door, and these stupid Americans will let us in.
And that seems to be what happened. And he got
in under the wire, nobody vetting to see if there
was anything psychologically wrong with him. We know nothing about
this guy, nothing except you want it to study here, Okay,
come on in and study. And this is what happens.

(05:28):
So now two Americans are dead. Seven ten wr the
Voice of New York. Hey show me your friends, I
will show you your future Zoron. Mundani's not even in
office yet, and one of his appointees has already had
to resign in disgrace due to what many are calling
a history of social media jew hating. Now, the New

(05:50):
York Post is reporting that in twenty eleven, when she
was eighteen, The paper reports that Catherine Almonte da Costa
posted several offensive anti Jewish posts that I will not
dignify by repeating here. And here's the irony. This woman, Catherine,
would end up marrying a Jewish man, a man born
to a Jewish mother, so he is Jewish by definition

(06:11):
and Judaism, you're maternally Jewish. And they have children together,
and I believe I read that the children are being
raised Jews. So yes, the posts were made fourteen years ago.
But did her feelings really change? I mean, maybe she's
in love with the guy but still holds hy stereotypes
in her heart. And were there any posts after that

(06:31):
period that we haven't seen yet? You never know, you
know what happens. They post some posts now and then
eventually other posts come out. Well, either way, it doesn't
look good when it comes to Mamdani's judgment, and the
millions of Jewish New Yorkers, both those who voted for Mamdani,
which I will never understand, and those who did not,
will be looking at every move Mamdani makes with suspicion

(06:53):
and rightfully so seven ten W. R. Ken Rosotto in
for Mark, excuse the laryngitis eight three two one zero
seven ten eight hundred and three to two to one
zero seven ten. You know, for all the people who
hate Christmas and people who observe it, they sure don't
seem to complain about the day being a federal holiday

(07:13):
and getting the day off from work. Of course, they're like, Ah,
these Christians, whatever they want to do Christmas, as long
as I get the day off. Well, if you have
not heard, President Trump has now signed an executive order
creating two additional federal holidays. Now those holidays will flank
Christmas on either day, ostensibly to give families more time
together for the holidays. So effective immediately, Christmas Eve is

(07:37):
a federal holiday, Christmas Day is a federal holiday, and
the day after the twenty sixth all designated federal holidays. Now,
in fairness, Congress had designated the twenty fifth a federal
holiday like almost two centuries ago. It was only by
executive fiat that Christmas Eve and the day after have
been designated that way. But I'm sure in the next

(07:59):
year or so, Wiss will be asked to codify it
into law so that future presidents can't negate it. But
why not. You know what, Look, even if you're not Christian,
you don't believe in Christianity, you don't believe in christ
you don't believe in Christmas. We all need a period
like that, three days that are set aside where we
could just just decompress and spend time with loved ones,

(08:23):
because you need to do a reset. How often do
we have And I recently had a death in the family,
My father in law passed away rather unexpectedly, And it's
times like that that you realize the last time we
had a picture together was you know, fourth is July.
So you take for granted the times you spend together,

(08:44):
they're too few and far between. So take advantage of
having three days off to force yourself to reset and
spend time with people who you love or even if
you argue with and you tolerate. You know what, there's
always something good you could find in that person, and
you never know you might learn something from them. I have,
I've been, I've approached many situations in the past as

(09:05):
and know it all, thinking, Ah, this person doesn't know
what they're talking about and it turns out I have
learned a lot from those people, and not bad stuff,
good stuff. So give yourselves time, spend time with your
loved ones, even you're not so loved ones, and try
to learn and enjoy the extra days off. Courtesy Orange
Man Bad if you're a liberal. A strange new information

(09:26):
regarding Nick Reiner, the son of Rob and Michelle Singer.
Reiner reportedly approached a number of A list celebs at
the Conan O'Brien Christmas party hours before he allegedly murdered
his parents and allegedly asked them all three questions. So
Nick allegedly went up to the celebs at the Christmas
party and asked, what's your name, what's your last name?

(09:48):
And are you famous? Kind of weird, right. We don't
know why he did that, but he did this. This
is according to several sources at the party, and authorities
say the younger Reiner has a history of drug addiction
and mental challenges. So this will all be part of
the investigation. I'm sure it's ten fifteen right now. Seven
ten wore the Voice of New York Ken Risotto went

(10:09):
from mark A. All this nasty weather, the wind, the rain,
with the milder quote unquote temperatures, we could even see
some thunder. It's going to be really windy all day,
even as the temperatures get cooler tonight but partly cloudy
later in the day. The rain should end highes in
the mid fifties through the day. Oh, the artistic liberals

(10:30):
in DC are beside themselves. It is pearl clutching time.
My friends, they're gonna love this. The Kennedy Center, if
you haven't caught this, has been renamed the Trump Kennedy Center. Yes,
President Trump's name comes first. This was voted on by
the Kennedy Center Board of trustees. I mean, I know
liberals who refuse to call Reagan national Reagan National. They

(10:53):
call it National Airport. Still, now, why was this done? Well?
Number one, President Trump is the chairman of the so
that doesn't hurt. But they did it because the Kennedy Center,
in typical liberal fashion, they all love to claim something
for their own, but they don't love to dig deep
in their pockets. They want you to pay. So the
Kennedy Center was turning into disrepair, being run into the ground,

(11:15):
and the very liberals who claimed to love the arts
so much weren't getting any donations to support the place,
so it was literally falling apart. Answer President Trump, he
became the chairman of the Kennedy Center Board and he
managed to immediately raise a record twenty three million dollars
in private donations for the first year alone. Then he

(11:35):
got Congress to write in two hundred and fifty million
dollars for massive building renovations. Remember what Trump does best.
Mark talks about this all the time. Trump is one
of the best builders in the world. If anybody knows
how to take a look at a building and tell
immediately what needs to be done and do it for
the best price, it's Donald Trump. Pardon me. So he

(11:56):
took a look at the building and said, ah, this
needs redoing. That needs redoing. The Kennedy Center, excuse me.
The Trump Kennedy Center will be gorgeous when all is
said and done. And this really irks the liberals because
this is one of their temples. This is like an
epicenter of arts and humanities, and an evil Orange man
will touch our temple. Oh Heaven forbid. So thanks to

(12:20):
Donald Trump, the Trump Kennedy Center will once again be
a world class facility operating financially in the black, and
that's why the board rightfully added his name. Of course,
liberal members of the Kennedy family are screaming now this
name change was done illegally. Kennedy would be rolling over.
President Kennedy would be rolling over in his grave. You

(12:43):
can't do this. Congress named it the Kennedy Center in
honor for a fallen president. Well, under the way that
the charter was written, the board does have the right
to everything. It says nowhere that the charter in the
charter rather that the board does not have the right
to change the name. So if you don't like it,
change the charter, and the board now runs the charter.

(13:04):
So sorry, it is what it is. The place would
have probably been forced to shut down if not for
the president's actions. Seven ten wowar the voice of New York.
Hey all you Swift these and you know who you are.
Have you heard what iconic star Taylor Swift did for
the people who work for her. Swift's Eras music tour

(13:25):
generated two billion dollars in revenue. Can you imagine? And
Swift decided, in the spirit of the holidays, to share
nearly ten percent of that money with her two hundred
or so staff members. Yeah, that's right. So they will
share one hundred and ninety seven million dollars in bonuses.
We're not talking of fifty dollars, you know, gift card folks.

(13:48):
Dancers who work for Taylor Swift, who dance around her
on stage, they will get a bonus of seven hundred
and fifty thousand dollars this year alone. These people whose
salaries are about one hundred and fifty thousand, so the
bonus is five times their salary. That's insane, but good

(14:09):
for her. Even truck drivers guys who and women I
guess too, who drive all of the stages and whatnot
from a concert venue to concert venue, they usually make
about one hundred thousand a year. Well, they get double
their salary. They're going to get one hundred thousand dollars bonus.
Can you imagine? This is what Taylor Swift did. So
they will have double their annual salaries. In that case,

(14:31):
that is a happy holiday ten nineteen right now, seven
to ten wor the Voice of New York.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
Hey.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
Notice how the left wing legacy media reported on President
Trump's address to the Nation on Wednesday night. As usual,
they fact checked every word and whenever a statement could
have gone either way based on opinion, they judged what
President Trump said to be a lie. Well, one thing
President Trump said was that inflation was down, and what

(14:59):
he meant was the of increase is down. But either
way it's down. Mainstream media immediately shot this down is
false lies, He's a liar. Then something happened. Facts were presented.
As of yesterday, the official government numbers show inflation has
dropped to a four year low for the month of November,

(15:19):
from three percent to two point seven percent. So, yes,
Donald Trump was correct. Inflation is down, Prices are dropping,
albeit slowly. Yes, things are still too expensive, but things
are coming down. The so called experts immediately threw water
on the numbers, calling November not a usual month because
we had the government shut down. But the numbers are

(15:40):
what the numbers are. And you know that if Biden
were still president, they wouldn't throw water on his numbers.
But of course, when it's orange man bad, you have
to throw water on them. And if you like President Trump,
how about another term. Forum Constitutional law expert and former
Harvard law professor Allendershowitz, a lifelong Democrat, told President Trump
it might be legal for him to run for a

(16:02):
third term. You heard this right. This has got to
make the left absolutely going crazily apoplectic with conspiracies right now.
Dershowitz says the twenty second Amendment says there are loopholes,
apparently because it specifically states no person shall be elected
to the office of president more than twice. But constitutionally,

(16:26):
the electoral College does not elect a president. They choose
a president we elect. So if they were to fail
to produce a winner through the electoral College, the House
of Representatives would then select a president, not elect a president.
So technically, if we have a Republican majority in the House,
the House could select Donald Trump and he could be president.

(16:48):
That was one of several ways presented, but I don't
think it's going anywhere. It was just enough to sell
books for Alan Dushowitz and enough to make the liberals crazy.
Seven to ten wor the Voice of New York. We'd
love to hear from you, So give us a call
right now. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Filling in for Mark. Here again is Ken Rosatto.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
And good to be with you on your Friday at
the holiday time. The phone lines are wide open right now.
One eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
One eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
And a quick shout out and congratulations to a friend
of mine whose mother, Joanna, just became a US citizen
within the last hour. She went down to the federal

(17:42):
court there in Newark, New Jersey, and she waited ten
years and did it legally, did it the right way,
never did it illegally, and she is our one of
our newest US citizens. Congratulations. Yes, folks, all those who
say Ken have a heart. They're all the same, whether
they're here legally or not. No, this is and why
it's so offensive to people who do it the legal
way and they wait ten years. It's like cutting the

(18:04):
line and giving them the finger. Don't do that. You
can be a productive US citizen doing it legally. Seven
ten w R. Let's go to our busy phones, Doctor
John and Newark. Good morning, Happy holidays.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Hello, do you hear me?

Speaker 3 (18:18):
Yes, sir, I do.

Speaker 5 (18:20):
Great Okay, well, look, God, I have a sort of
a message for everybody.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
In my opinion, I'm.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
A professor at their Rutgers Medical School, and both the
Democrats and Republicans have made efror, but they both agree
on one thing. We need to solve the problem of
American medicine costing US nineteen percent of our GDP. We
die younger than thirty six other countries. There are countries

(18:50):
that pay the governments pay less than two percent of GDP,
and they live six years longer than us, and they're
rated thirty one flats higher than we are by the
World's Health Organization. Now I know how this is done,
because I've worked in the number one rated country in
the world, and I've lectured in several of these countries
that are in the top seven.

Speaker 6 (19:12):
I know how it is done. I know how it
can be done, but nobody gives it.

Speaker 7 (19:17):
Damn.

Speaker 6 (19:17):
In the United States. I've sent letters on multiple occasion
to Monck, Trump and Kennedy. Nobody gets back to me.
Then I started sending it to the Democrats. They don't
care either. Now why don't they care? Because so many
billionaires are invested in the American insurance Your American insurance.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
I don't have any artment. I'm waiting for an argument.
I'm like, no, Doc is right, you're a present. Every
doctor I've spoken to says the exact same thing too.
There is so much money in this to be made
by so many people that you just don't have. And
I heard the windshow wifeersian poor doc call let him
focus on driving. Doctor, I don't disagree with you at all.
In fact, get your number. We'll get the number. Here

(20:00):
is he at the station? Here, We'll get your number.
We're gonna get you in touch with a congress member
because I'm sure if President Trump got the word directly,
more would be done. This is something that could affect
the Republicans for the midterms, so they will want to
get involved in this. But doctor John is not wrong
on so many levels. Why though, is our life expectancy down? Well,

(20:21):
don't forget versus a country like Sweden or even Italy
or Spain or Ireland. America is so multicultural, and we
have such a huge number of people who come here
impoverished third world countries. And I'm not singling anyone out,
but the reality is we are a much more diverse country.
And so when you get somebody who comes from a
country that may not have all their shots, may not

(20:44):
have all the same nutrition once they get here. Sure,
we're going to have a lower survival rate, We're going
to have a higher infant mortality rate. That definitely has
an impact on our numbers. And then, don't forget it
turns out that we've been getting screwed, if you will,
by a lot in the industry over the years, because
we've been paying higher prices for our medicine and for

(21:05):
medical treatment in essence to subsidize in the other countries.
And finally, you look at the other countries and we
have been subsidizing them by providing military so that they
can afford to give their people whatever, free universities, free healthcare,
while we are paying to defend them, and they are
saving billions and billions of dollars. Seven ten WR The

(21:26):
Voice of New York.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WI
Kin from Mark Today, Here's Ken Rosatto and it's.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
Good to be with you.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Yay, Happy Friday, Happy holidays. We're just past the halfway
point for Hanukah and we got Christmas just six days away.
Have you done your shopping yet? Man? Oh? Man. If
you haven't coming up an hour from now, we'll be
talking to a guy who knows all things tech and gadgets.
He is his name is Fisher, and I use him

(21:56):
on the show I do in New Jersey on the
channel I'm on New Jersey. I use him all the time.
He gets these great things, these great bargains you're going
to want to know about. He's also going to talk
about little hacks, credit card tricks, and how to protect
yourself with the credit cards over the holidays, also to
use up those points before the end of the year

(22:16):
in some cases they expire. So that's all coming up
just about fifty eight minutes, not to be that precise,
but fifty eight minutes from now with Fisher. He'll be
on with all that info. You give us a call
if you'd like. We were supposed to have Roger Friedman
on now. If Roger's out there, maybe he got his
time and mixed up. Roger, give us a call. We
need to have you on. So Roger Friedman from Showbiz

(22:37):
four to one one was going to call in. We're
looking for him right now. In the meantime, we'll use
this time for you if you'd like to give us
a call. It's eight hundred three to two one zero
seven ten. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Hey,
check this out. Crude oil prices have dropped to under
fifty five dollars a barrel. Now that has been translating

(23:00):
to lower prices at the pump. The price per gallon
of regular gas has fallen below three dollars a gallon
in almost every state, and even below two dollars a
gallon in a few places, and that will definitely have
an impact on the price of everything, because everything you
buy is transported. Think about it. You have the trucks

(23:22):
with produce and chickens, and they all drive, and the
driver has to buy the gas, and that price has
to be passed on everything. Even home heating oil comes
from crude oil natural gas. It's a different source, but
nonetheless it's all connected. Put it this way. If people
are getting cheaper oil prices to heat their home, there

(23:44):
will be less reliance on natural gas, so there'll be
greater supply, et cetera. The price comes down, so this
impacts our overall price overall, all right, for everything. Listen
to what the slime bags in Trenton, New Jersey have done.
I'm no friend of the state legislators in New Jersey.
I'm shocked they haven't put a hit out on me yet.

(24:06):
Not that I'm suggesting anything, but the liberal lawmakers in
the Garden state just voted to hike the state gas
tax to nearly fifty cents a gallon, forty nine point
one CeNSE a gallon, to be exact. It's like up
a little over four cents from what it is at
this very second. As of January first, it becomes forty
nine point one CeNSE per gallon of gas. That's just

(24:30):
the new Jersey state tax, and the new Jersey state
tax on diesel per gallon will be fifty six point
one CeNSE per gallon. So trucks that transport all our
goods when you see on the highway, those big Target
trucks and Walmart trucks, and you know, the non electric
vehicles for any of the other transporters, et cetera, they're all,

(24:56):
you know, driving on diesel for the most part. And
even those who you evs. You think, ken, I plug
in my car and I have nothing to do with this,
Well yeah you do. Because most of the power plants
out there are still fossil fuel powered, so they too
get their source of power from crude oil. So everybody
and everything will be impacted by this. As the wholesale

(25:20):
cost per gallon of gas is dropping in New Jersey,
listen to what these little dirt bags are doing in
trent I'm sorry these state lawmakers in Trenton are currently doing.
They decided that because President Trump is getting the cost
of crude down, they would simultaneously jack up the tax
for the state of New Jersey. That fulfills two things

(25:42):
for them. Number One, you in New Jersey buying gas
will not notice the price has come down because the
tax went up. Therefore, you don't know that the price
per gallon came down. That's number one. Number Two, it
ends up giving them more money in the coffers for
them to do with what they want to get re elected.

(26:04):
One of the interesting things they pointed out when asked
why they had to increase the tax, they said, because
people have done a good job listening to us. And
a reporter asked, what are you talking about, and legislators
in New Jersey said, well, we've been telling people to
do less driving carpool more, use car shares, use mass
transit and they have. As a result, we've sold less gas,

(26:25):
which means we've had lower gas tax revenue. So now
we have to raise the price of gas tax to
make up for the people driving less. So you're getting
punished for doing the right thing from an environmental perspective.
Isn't that nice? That's the way democrats think of you,
middle finger right to your face, and they think we're
all stupid. But here's part of the problem. When you

(26:48):
open up the floodgates to nearly a million illegal migrants,
and you have to come up with all this extra
money to educate the kids, give them two to three
squares a day in public school. You have to give
the folks coming into the state a free place to live,
you have to give them food, you have to help
them with other resources. Well, that money has got to
come from somewhere, and the state says, well, we don't

(27:09):
have a fund for that. Of course not, because money
is fungible. What that means is, pardon me. They take
a little from this program first, now I'm gonna call
pardon me. They take a little from this program and
take a little from that program, and that's how they
pay for it. And so those programs end up in
a deficit. At the end of the year, your taxes
go up, and that's how you pay for it. This

(27:32):
is the way the Democrats think. And in the state
of New Jersey, the Democrats control the State Assembly, the
state Senate, they have the governorship, and of course in
January they will have the governorship again. They control the
state Supreme Court. They also control nine of the twelve
state Congress seats. I should say in the federal government,
nine of the twelve are Democrats. They control both US

(27:54):
Senate seats, and they control the top fifteen largest cities.
The mayors and the councils are all controlled by Democrats
in New Jersey. So you cannot blame anyone but the
Democrats for this. Let's go to Joyce in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Joyce,
you're a fellow garden Stater. You know what I'm talking about.
Good morning and happy holidays. Oh we just dropped that. Oh,

(28:16):
let's go to Bill in New Jersey. I'm sorry. Let's
go to Bill in New Jersey. Fellow garden Stater.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Good morning, Hey, Ken, how you doing.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
I'm great.

Speaker 8 (28:24):
I I wanna, I wanna thank you very much for
finally being the person to start screaming about this incoming
tax It's it's Murphy's last poke in the eye to
the people of New Jersey. And he's already set up
the new affordability governor to take a fall right off
the back. So it's just amazing, Uh what these people

(28:48):
have done.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
Yeah, this is this is the game they play, and
they think we're all stupid. But I mean, you got
to give them credit for looking at this opportunity. You
knew Trump was gonna get gas prices down, so I
not just add taxes at the same time so it'll
look like Trump hasn't done anything. The price for a
gallon of gas in New Jersey is the same as
it was a month ago or two months ago. Meanwhile,

(29:10):
the wholesale price is down. It's just that the state
tax is up. Do you know what the breakdown of
taxes on a gallon of gases. Wholesale gas is about
a dollar sixty a gallon. Then you have to add
about eighteen cents federal tax. That's all it is. Eighteen cents.
New Jersey is almost fifty cents a gallon for the state.
And then in big cities like New York they add

(29:31):
another forty six cents or so per gallon. New York
State adds forty six cents a gallon, and then you
have you know, county municipalities in some case tacking it on,
and then whatever little bit that the local retailer sales
to make money on it. They usually only make about
a nickel. So that's how we have the price of gas.
It's comprised at this point mostly of taxes and fees,

(29:51):
not the cost of wholesale. It's crazy.

Speaker 8 (29:54):
Yeah, and you know, New Jersey used to be one
of the best states in the cunt even despite the
fact we don't have self service gas, we used to
have some of the best prices in the country. Now
forget about it. I've just came back from Texas. Prices
down there for over Thanksgiving to now have dropped thirty

(30:14):
cents a gallon. What's happening in New Jersey? Nickels and
dimes going up.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
It's crazy, It's crazy. But again, this is what happens
when they keep voting Democrat. I don't understand. I thought
for sure this time Chitarelly was going to do it
to lose. The way he lost just makes me lose
a lot of faith in my fellow garden Staters. Hey,
thank you so.

Speaker 8 (30:34):
Much for doing Don't don't get me started on Chindarelly.
I can tell you what his campaign failings were.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
Well, we'll do a whole show on that. You call
back again, we could do that call. You could always
call it on my show in New Jersey that I do.
We'll put you on for that. But listen, I appreciate
the call. Happy holidays, and thanks for checking in with us.

Speaker 8 (30:55):
You sir, thank you, all right, thank you, all.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
Right, seven to ten w R the Voice of New
York once again. We'll take calls when we come back.
I'll go get a little tu and rest my voice.
The call lumber is one eight hundred three two one
zero seven ten. One eight hundred three two one zero
seven ten Ken Rozatto. For those you know when I
mentioned my show, I'm on a channel called on New

(31:18):
Jersey uh in New Jersey. It streams at onenja dot com,
so you can take a look at it anytime ONNJ
dot com. I'm on there every single day, and then
I get the pleasure of coming here to fill in
whenever either Larry or Mark or off. So I'll be
in for Larry on Monday, So anyway, we'll take your
calls when we'll come back. Eight hundred three to two

(31:38):
one zero seven ten for w R.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Now more of the Marximone Show on seven ten woor
filling in for Mark here again is Ken Rosado and.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
We go straight through our busy phones on this holiday Friday.
Bob and Montvale, New Jersey.

Speaker 7 (31:55):
Good morning, Hey, good morning, Ken. I help you feeling
better to take the raw honey with that throat. I'm
telling you, I'm not junk out of the Teddy Bear tubes,
but I hope you're feeling better there. But you know
what bugs me is here and these New Jersey people,
now I'm New Jersey complaining. I mean, where were they

(32:16):
when you know Cheryl was talking about you know, made
no sense about you know, it wasn't going to raise taxes.
This gas tax was a known thing. Our utility bills
are going to go up again. Oh and the tolls
are going up on the throw on the parkways. So
you know, I blame early voting. Believe it or not,

(32:37):
I thought Jack should really was was it? Gim me?
Especially what goes on here in this state. It's a
sanctuary state. This is what we're paying for. And it
really sickens me to hear people now like complaining it's
too late, folks.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Yeah, and this is the problem. When you only have
about fifteen to twenty percent of the population actually getting
off their butts and going out and voting, that is
the problem problem. You know, the liberal activist types got
out there and voted. Meanwhile, a lot of the older
folks who tended to be more conservative, they sat home
and they said, well, well, I only vote for the
president stuff. No, you got to vote for everything. That

(33:16):
is the problem. Bob, we gotta go. We're up against
the top of the hour. I appreciate you, sir. Happy
holidays to you. Seven to ten WR The Voice of
New York. Coming up later in the hour, we'll speak
with Brandon digital strategist Fisher with some really cool holiday
tech items that you will not want to miss. This morning,
rainal land, even a little lot of thunder here. It'll
be very windy all day, partly cloudy a little bit

(33:38):
later on high is today though amazingly in the mid fifties,
cooling down tonight, clouds Tomorrow, high's upper thirties again. Ken
Rosato and from Mark on your Friday during the holidays.
We're coming right back after the news.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Now the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WR filling
in for Mark.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Here's Ken Rosatto and so.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
Good to be with you. Happy with Friday, Oh, happy holidays,
good to be here. We are more than halfway through Honukah. Christmas,
of course, is next Thursday. If you have not done
your holiday shop, and yet what are you waiting for?
Oh my gosh, you gotta get off your button, do it.
I know it sneaks up. And it's funny when you
hear people say, like on Thanksgiving, oh, this is one

(34:20):
of the short years, you know, the difference in terms
of days between a short year meaning where Thanksgiving falls
in November versus a long year. It's like the difference
of three days. Three days does not make that much
of a difference, folks. And Christmas does not sneak up.
It's on the same date every year. It's just that
it feels like it does anyway. But happy Hanukkah. Wheat

(34:41):
what it's Sunday or month Monday? So last day Sunday
night Monday, last day of Hanukkah. So happy Hanukah to
everybody celebrate that as well. Hey Brandon, digital expert Fisher
will be here later this hour. He has some really
cool tech gadgets you can give as gifts or buying
for yourself if you still need to for the holidays.
Mark is off today again. This is Ken Rosatto. Lots

(35:03):
to talk about. Please excuse my laryngitis. Tis the season
for that, especially with the weather that we had overnight
and last night and right now. A what confusion in
the Brown University case. The suspect in the Brown University
mass shooting, Claudio Manuel Neves Valente, now appears to have
killed himself. Valente is a forty eight year old former

(35:25):
Brown student and Portuguese national. He was found dead from
self inflicted wounds at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire.
They believe he shot himself in the head. They found
him at the scene with a satchel to firearms and
evidence that matched the crime scene. Now, investigators say they
don't know why Valente targeted the university. He went there

(35:48):
apparently for a year in the early two thousands, but
they don't know why he went back to do what
he did and why he would have shot a students
or two. In this case, a number of students, two
of them died. Official say Valente is responsible, that's what
they believe, and that he also killed an MIT professor
at his Massachusetts home, fifty miles the north of Brown

(36:10):
And they say they're still working on a motive, but
that he may have known this guy. They may have
studied in Lisbon, Portugal together. They may have even been
roommates at one point. Nevis was admitted into the US
legally under a very liberal diversity dv ie visa program
that appears to be totally out of control. It's also

(36:31):
called the Green Card Lottery. It was meant to diversify
the US, because clearly we are not a diverse nation.
Fifty five thousand people take part in this lottery each year.
But the Homeland Security Secretary Christinome now says that she
is recommending to President Trump that they scraped the program.
Of course, we'll find out more in the next few days.

(36:53):
The whole investigation has been rather sloppy by the folks
in Rhode Island, so we'll we'll see what they come
up with in the next few days. Seven ten WR
The Voice of New York. Hey, how about this I'm
sure you heard this this week. The FBI did not
believe that agents had probable cause to execute a search

(37:16):
warrant at President Trump's Mar A Lago estate in August
of twenty twenty two. That, according to internal records released
yesterday by Iowas Senator Chuck Grassley, actually wasn't yesterday. It
was Tuesday by Chuck Grassley and confirmed by FBI Director
Cash battel so Now, an FBI official noted that agents

(37:37):
had spent six weeks trying to establish probable cause and
that they were counterproductive. Grassley also claimed that there are
emails and other documents proving that a miscarriage of justice
occurred against Trump. You'll recall agents turned on their lights
and sirens before swarming the complex. There would be people

(38:00):
in there firing back at them or something. They even
entered first Lady Malania Trump's bedroom, they had a shoot
to kill order. So if any of the Secret Service
agents that were guarding Trump, because remember he was the
former president of that point from the twenty fifteen to
twenty sixteen election, there was a shoot to kill order
that was given by Merrick Garland, I mean the man

(38:22):
should be holed off in cuffs for that. This is crazy.
You don't have probable cause, and then instead of saying
go in there peacefully, you give a shoot to kill order.
What is wrong with you? It's just a sick man.
The other thing they did, a professional safe cracker later
helped access items in Trump's office, broke into his personal safe,

(38:43):
and also apparently they rated baron Trump's bedroom. They went
through all his drawers as well. Former President Joe Biden's
Attorney General Merrick Garland ultimately the one to sign off
on the search over the objections of a number of
people at the FBI. South Florida US Judge Eileen Cannon
later dismissed the case entirely, ruling that special Counsel Jack

(39:06):
Smith was never legally appointed to begin with because he
required congressional approval. But yet they let him get away
with five years. Five years of spending over fifty million
dollars of your taxpayer money and literally haunting everybody who
worked for the Trump administration, hurling accusations left and right.

(39:27):
It nearly cost Trump the twenty twenty four election, and
yet nobody's being held ac cannibal. How hell is that possible?
Every one of them should be locked up for this.
This was all false, and now that we know there
was no probable cause, give me a break. They hauled
Jack Smith before Congress and he insisted, he insisted that

(39:48):
he had evidence. But when they asked him, well, what's
your evidence, nothing, zilch, zero nada. Nothing that's to bar
from the Great late Great Russia. Limba, he used to say, zilch,
zero nada. There was not one conviction made in five years.
But yet he bankrupt a number of people who had
to hire defense attorneys and literally burn through all their

(40:09):
life savings to do what to literally defend themselves for
having worked for the previous administration. This is obscene. That's
why when I hear the Democrats in quote unquote mainstream
media say that Trump is politicizing the Justice Department. Really,
you guys have a PhD in politicization. This is what

(40:30):
you did for years. You literally terrified people on the
right for years when there was no reason to do so.
And here you guys practicing the psychological method of projection.
You guys were the ones to actually politicize and actually
unjustly used the so called Justice Department against people who

(40:52):
were innocent. Remember all the times that Adam Shift swore
to the press that he had groundbreaking evidence proving there
was Russia Russia Russia collusion against President Trump. He kept
promising to present the evidence, and he never did. All
the times he said he had this evidence, he never did.
Why did mainstream media never hold him accountable? Why did

(41:14):
they always run up to him like a bunch of
asses and stick Mike in his face? And anything he
said was gospel? Anything that Schiff said was gospel? And
then the people of California reward him by electing him Senator. Really,
the guy lied to you for all those years and
you elect him Senator. Well, if there was so much evidence,
Shifty Shift, why didn't you present it. This is part

(41:37):
of the strategy of the left. This is part of
Mao's little red book. It's all about painting the other side.
Even if you know it's bs, you know it's a lie,
just keep saying it over and over again and eventually
people will believe you. That's the left's playbook. Seven ten
w r The Voice of New York Ken Rosatto with
laryngitis along filling in for the Great Marks Today. Our

(42:01):
number is eight hundred three two one zero seven to ten. Well,
good to see that President Trump has filed the lawsuit
against the BBC for ten billion dollars. But do we
expect that he'll get ten billion? No, do we expect
he might get one hundred million maybe, And you know,
he'll do what he does best. He'll distribute it to
charities or maybe put it into his presidential library, something

(42:24):
that President Biden can't say it can be done because
he hasn't raised a penny for his presidential library. And
if you look at Obama's presidential library, they're basically out
of money and it looks like just the most disgusting
iceoree ever. So Trump is going to have, I'm sure,
a gold dripping beautiful presidential library. And it's going to
be in downtown Miami. By the way, what a great location.

(42:45):
It's right by the river, right by the shore there
in downtown Miami. Pardon me, this is the area near
the Freedom Tower that the Cubans revere so much. Cuban
Americans down there, it's just a great spot. So apparently
the British broadcaster BBC, they said that they had accidentally

(43:08):
left a mistaken impression that President Trump called for violent
action before the storming of the Capitol in twenty sixteen. Well.
In a forty six page lawsuit filed in Miami federal court,
Trump accused the BBC of defaming him and violating Florida's
Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. He demanded five billion

(43:29):
for each of two offenses that he says they violated.
The president's legal team said the lawsuit is meant to
hold the British network accountable for his wrong for its wrongdoing,
and of course it'll send a message to all the
other leftist morons who do the same thing. You'll recall
what the BBC did. They edited together two separate portions
of President Trump's speech to supporters on January sixth, twenty

(43:52):
twenty one, portions that were actually spoken nearly an hour apart.

Speaker 9 (43:58):
We're going to walk down to the Capitol and I'll
be there with you, and we fight.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
We fight like hell. We're gonna walk down to the Capitol.

Speaker 9 (44:12):
And we're gonna cheer on our brave senators and congressmen
and women.

Speaker 3 (44:19):
Now do you think there's any difference there? They edited
together the first bite that we call it a byte
in TV and radio, the first sound bite, the first
sound bite with the edit makes it sound like we're
gonna go down to the Capitol, we're gonna fight, fight, fight,
So in other words, we're not gonna accept the outcome
of the election. That's what that suggests. Meanwhile, what actually

(44:41):
was said was we're gonna march down, we're gonna do
so peacefully, and we're gonna cheer on our congressmen and women.
Quite a difference. But yet the scenario, the narrative that
was painted by the left for years was the Trump
started the riots and he wanted and he wanted to
overthrow the government. None of that happened. None of it happened.

(45:02):
It was in their crazy leftist minds, and they kept
repeating the same lie among themselves and their leftist bubble,
and so this narrative became truth in leftist circles. Again,
as I mentioned in the last story, this is what
the left does. Tell a lie, and if it doesn't
exist formal ee, create a lie and say it over
and over and over and over again until the narrative

(45:25):
is bought and even mainstream media starts repeating it as
if it's truth when it's not. Well, the BBC insists
there edit was not defamatory, it was an accident, Then
why'd you do it? Why did you need to edit
a twenty one second SoundBite? If it was like two minutes,
I could see, I know there are time constraints. It
was twenty one seconds. Why would you need to edit that.

(45:48):
We use twenty one second sound bites and TP and
radio all the time. It was because they were trying
to paint the narrative, folks, And that is why the
BBC fired their two chief people, the two people in
charge of the entire network, who basically would have had
their job for life, but they got let go or
I'm sorry, they resigned on their own. That was translation
for if you leave on your own, we'll give you

(46:09):
a million dollars and you could go live in peace,
or will fire you, take you to court and you
get nothing. So they left on their own. Well, the
edit was responsible for a false Democrat narrative, Like I said,
that nearly cost Trump the twenty twenty four election. And
it is disgusting that they did it, but they got
away with it until now. Hopefully they will lose this
lawsuit or settle out of court if they're smart, and

(46:32):
President Trump can give that money that he will get
to a good conservative charity. Seven to ten w o R.
The Voice of New York a Laryn jittik Ken rosetto
in for the great Mark Simone today. I hope Mark
is enjoying his holidays. Ah, the two faced Kathy. These
are my lips trying to get over the oversized caps

(46:53):
in my mouth right now. I'm sorry, that's mean. She's
getting tough on your behalf. Now, see she is Now
that con Edison explained to her why they are warning
customers there may be rolling blackouts through the year twenty
twenty six. She acts like this is a shock. Hey, Kathy,
how about when your liberal predecessor Andrew Cuomo ordered the

(47:16):
perfectly fine functioning Indian Point Nuclear Power plant to shut
down without a replacement. That eliminated twenty five percent of
all the power generating capacity for the entire region. At
the same time, you open the floodgates to a million
illegals in New York, declaring New York a sanctuary state. Well,
guess what. A million people use a lot of resources.

(47:38):
They live in homes, taking away those homes from citizens
looking for place to live. They clog highways at times
day and night. Their kids jam our classrooms and cost
us billions in school breakfast, lunch, and dinner programs. And
guess what else, Kathy, They flush toilets what ken, Yes,
that adds to the pressure of our water and sewer systems.

(47:59):
If you don't believe me, ask a plumber. A building
has an approximated capacity of toilet flushes per apartment, and
when all of a sudden, there are three times that
number of people living in an apartment, that puts a
strain on the system. Too much water is drawn and
too much water is flushed. Then come the AI companies,
cloud storage facilities, and tens of thousands of these liberal

(48:22):
electric vehicles plugging into charge up, and you get rolling blackouts. Kathie, duh.
How about having the illegals go home to wherever they
came from and building more reliable nuclear or fossil fuel
electric generating power plans, Miss Buffalo, I mean this is
not brain surgery, folks, This is an easy fix. These
problems are caused by liberals, but they shrug their shoulders

(48:43):
and then immediately blame somebody else for what is their
own fault. I mean, the same thing happened in New Jersey.
The reason why we've had two years of twenty percent
power increases. Is because Governor Murphy and the Democrats in
Trenton order the shutdown of six perfectly good power plants
because they're evil fossil fuel and one of them was

(49:04):
a nuclear plant. So you order them shut down before
you have new green plants built. What do you get
your short power?

Speaker 7 (49:11):
Now?

Speaker 3 (49:12):
The demand is high because of AI and cloud storage
and all the illegals eight hundred nine hundred thousand illegals
in New Jersey too. The demand is high, so the
cost per kilo out of electricity goes through the roof.
This is why it's not because we're part of this
regional grid. The whole grid is impacted when you add
millions of people whom you don't account for. But again,

(49:33):
this is what the Democrats do, and they guise it
as compassion. Meanwhile, screw you, you citizen, tax paying moron
middle finger to you. Just keep paying us, and keep
electing us, and shut up and mind your business and
do what we tell you. Keep voting Democrats, folk folks,
and that's what you get. Seven to ten WR The

This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WI
Ken for Mark Today.

Speaker 2 (50:41):
Here's Ken Rosatto.

Speaker 3 (50:43):
Had a very good time to you, good holiday time.
Let's go right to our busy phones. Vincent and Brooklyn,
who I'm sure will give me a good tip on
what to do about my laryngitis.

Speaker 4 (50:53):
Uh um me and.

Speaker 3 (50:56):
A little teen a little.

Speaker 4 (50:57):
Honey exactly born natali ate A Borano Hata and Kivostricarti.

Speaker 3 (51:06):
Thank you and to you as well. Happy holidays are
rry Christmas, Happy New Year to you and your friend.

Speaker 4 (51:10):
Well, what I would like to tell your audience is
beware of scams out there because and also download the
app from your banks because recently my checking account was
scammed in October, but I didn't get the printed statement.
It was scammed towards the end of October, but I

(51:32):
didn't get the printed statement until December one, a couple
of weeks ago, and I went what And I looked
on it and what somebody actually did They put in
the withdrawal for my account as a pre approved with
Rural Now. I regially called up my back. I said, hey,
you know me, I don't do auto pay with anyone.

(51:55):
The only ones who will electronically cash your check Areity
company because they don't send somebody down to the bank.
But this person who ever did it, made a big mistake.
Because the anti fraud police are on the case. What
they did was I don't know how they got not

(52:16):
only my checking account number, but like the eband number,
all the numbers that are at the bottom of your
check besides your account. And with this fool, did I
know the person's name, and I'm not going to say
it because the investigators gave it to me. What this
person did was they bought something and they paid their bill.

(52:39):
They must have had bad credit because there are these
companies that you buy something from one of their pull
your Prove vendors and they they'll they'll advance the credit
on it and then you have to pay.

Speaker 3 (52:53):
Them a secondary person.

Speaker 4 (52:57):
Exactly. So this fool, this fool used the money that
they pilfit from my account to pay their credit card
bill with this. With this, it's not master Card or
anything did these these third party companies. It's not master
Card and it's not Visa. And my advice to anybody

(53:19):
is beware of these companies. That's all I could say.
And this fool made a mistake of pretty big several
thousand dollars. Ken's paying off their bill with my pilfit money.

Speaker 3 (53:33):
And so did you get your money back at least
did they give it?

Speaker 4 (53:37):
Yeah, I'm with God. Actually I'm sitting at my desk
and I'm rebalancing my checking accounts.

Speaker 3 (53:43):
Hey, here's my advice to anybody who tries to rob
from Vincent. I wouldn't do that.

Speaker 4 (53:49):
Exactly. Then, when I had to not only I had
to make a police report when I spoke to the
bank examiners, because when you go to the bank, they
send you to they call up there, insurers and everything,
and they backtracked the account all the activity. And the
person did it at eleven fifty nine PM, right before

(54:11):
the start of a new day. And so the bank
examiner says, do you know so and so this person
that did it? I said no, and so I also, Vincent.

Speaker 3 (54:26):
Army to cut us, but we got news time. But listen,
I'm just glad you got your money back. And again
a merry, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. God bless you
and your family. And we will definitely be checking in.

Good morning, Ken, how are you ah?

Speaker 3 (55:28):
Little larynge iis okay?

Speaker 10 (55:29):
Otherwise it's gonna say you sound you sounded great.

Speaker 3 (55:32):
It's my Brenda the Caro impersonation. That's what it is.
So what are some cool tech gadgets that we may
not know about this year for the person who's into
cool tech stuff?

Speaker 10 (55:43):
Absolutely?

Speaker 9 (55:43):
First, I'm gonna just mention that if you have a
child or a teenager, Nintendo Switch to Mario Kart bundle
is still on sale at Walmart. You can get it
at Target, so you can still get these gifts, right.
But some cool things, as you mentioned, insta three P
sixty Link two. It's a webcam four K resolution, DSLR quality,

(56:04):
noise canceling.

Speaker 10 (56:05):
And this is the great part, tracking and framing.

Speaker 9 (56:08):
So if you're sitting in front of your computer during
doing zoom calls, it's one thing. And you can have
like a fixed camera if you will right, but this camera,
if you have to get up to do presentations, it
will track you, so it'll follow you if you stand up,
it'll zoom out, zoom in, if you move around to whiteboard,
things of that sort.

Speaker 10 (56:23):
So great, great camera.

Speaker 9 (56:25):
It's only about one hundred and fifty bucks, which is
pretty reasonable, and you can get it at insto three
sixty dot com. How about a drone anti gravity a
one drone? Get this eight K video on a drone
obstacle avoidance so you don't run into a tree of
building your house your dog. Six mile range comes with
a headset, grip controllers, so you're kind of playing it

(56:47):
like a video game and then you're looking at what
the drone sees in The headset comes with a battery,
a carry case, a carrying case you could get that.

Speaker 10 (56:54):
At best Buy.

Speaker 9 (56:55):
And something for the grandparents, maybe your parents. Ten inch
Wi Fi able digital photo frame. It's great. You can
update the pictures, you can you know, take them from
your phone and upload them into the photo frame. That's
it best by it's only about fifty nine bucks. But
there's plenty of deals also. Think of things like accessories,
AirPod Pro threes, pixel Buds, Pro twos, the Apple Watch

(57:16):
or pixel Watch, or even just something simple like a
tablet or laptop stand, privacy screens, and there's plenty of things.
You can go online, you can order it and then
just go pick it up. You don't have to, you know,
go through the store and you know, sit in the
aisles with everybody else that's looking for last minute gifts.
You can do a lot of it online and then
just pick up on the stores so you're not worried

(57:36):
about the shipping.

Speaker 3 (57:38):
That is awesome. Seven to ten wore the Voice of
New York, Hen Rosato and from Mark on a Friday
smack dab in the middle of the holidays. Right now,
of course, we have a few days left of Hanukkah,
Christmas is only six days away, and we're speaking with
Fisher who can tell you all about everything tech and
he has some great advice here for us. So now

(57:58):
you've also talked about before going out shopping or even
doing shopping online to get credit cards for cash back
and deals before you a head to the store. So
talk about that.

Speaker 9 (58:08):
Yeah, we talked about this on Black Friday and kind
of got a great response on it. So I'll mentioned
again for anybody who didn't hear that, show your credit
cards if you have one. Basically you have cash back rewards,
you have reward points that you can get. Capital One
has Capital One offers, amex offers, Bankomera deals, even discover
Card has cash bonuses. And the point of mentioning this

(58:28):
is before you go to the store, check the app,
check the website of your credit cards and see if
you go through the link in the app that you
get an extra five percent off or you get an
extra ten thousand membership rewards points. A company like Capital
one their credit card, they actually have an extension for
your browser, so as you go to websites, you don't
have to keep track of all of it.

Speaker 10 (58:48):
It will tell you.

Speaker 9 (58:48):
It'll say, hey, there's an offer here for five percent
cash back if you use your Capital one card. Rakuten
is a great a resource as well, and they have
a browser extension you can use, and that's fantastic. And
I also want to mention that if you have a
credit card or anything. Really look to burn your perks
by the end of the year. A lot of your

(59:10):
credit cards offer perks like TSCA, pre Check Global Entry,
Clear Membership. You know they'll cover the cost if you
just sign up a resi so Rezi is an online
restaurant reservation and American Express offers one hundred dollars a
quarter if credit you got to burn that sacks fifth
avenue credit on an American Express. Think airline incidental credits too.

(59:31):
As you travel, make sure you bring that credit card
that you're gonna be able to take care of the
baggage fee or the lounge fees, drink tickets in your
airline app if you get those through your credit card,
and think of things that you wouldn't normally think of,
meaning a Clear membership has discounts, so check the Clear
app and you get a discount on Uber one or
forty nine dollars off an or ring. And then also,

(59:52):
of course you know your Starbucks points expire at the
end of the month, dunkin Donuts, whatever it is, this
is the end of the year, not just the end
of the month, it's the end of a quarter, it's
the end of the year. So think of those because
all of this will expire by the end of the
next week, right, so two weeks from now actually, And
so you want to burn all these points because you're paying,

(01:00:12):
in some cases a large annual fee on a credit card.

Speaker 10 (01:00:16):
Make sure you take advantage of it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
Wow, that is all amazing advice. And I know you
have this all on your website, Fisher dot Media. So
if anybody saying, wait, this all sounds great, but I'm
driving and I can't write it down, don't worry about it.
You can do that. You can check it out there.
Let me ask you. Did you get all your holiday
shopping done?

Speaker 9 (01:00:33):
Absolutely not, But there are great deals and it's great
like I was thinking about for my mom, and there's
such great deals on televisions now two hundred three hundred
dollars for seventy five inch TVs at Walmart, Costco, Best Buy,
pick a store. It's easy to walk in and grab
one of those deals. So I feel confident now. If

(01:00:53):
we talk on Tuesday, I will feel less confident. But
as of right now, going into the weekend, I'm feeling good.

Speaker 3 (01:00:59):
This is a Fisher comes on our other show that
we do in New Jersey and Fisher always has this
great advice, and almost inevitably I will ask did you
do this for yourself and say no. So Fisher's great
at giving advice, but terrible at doing it himself. He's
do as I'd say, don't do as I do.

Speaker 9 (01:01:16):
Except for the password stuff. You're the one with password
one two three four as your passwords.

Speaker 3 (01:01:20):
Well thanks for sharing.

Speaker 10 (01:01:21):
Well, I mean you did it on TV. I figured
it was open listen.

Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
I think if if the company gives you the product
with the word password as the password, why should you
bother changing it? I mean they did you make it's
fine exactly you know or just you know abc D
one two three four. I mean, there's nothing. People people
make fun of me because I still have on my
Instagram I still have some certain letters that are connected

(01:01:47):
to a previous employer. Hey, why take the time to
change it? It works.

Speaker 10 (01:01:51):
There are many other ways that people make fun of you.
But yeah, that's what.

Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
Has nothing to do with the funny hats that I wear.
All right, amazing, So what other advice you have? So
you talked about Clear? I just, by the way, just
a heads up that when I just renewed my clear recently,
I wasn't sure which of the credit cards I had
used previously, and I just did a search engine. We're
a search and ask which credit cards give you free

(01:02:17):
Clear or free TSA pre Check, and they're like ten
popped up. Yeah, I had one of those cards.

Speaker 10 (01:02:22):
Yeah, And you can even go into the dashboard.

Speaker 9 (01:02:24):
Usually it's the website because it has more landscape for
you to see and like American Express tracks, so say
in American Express Platinum cards gives you a streaming credits
per month, you could actually go in and see how
many credits I've used or how many dollars in that case,
or have I used my saxpith Ave and you know
I used in the first half of the year. I
still had fifty bucks before the end of the year.
So a lot of your credit cards will kind of

(01:02:44):
give you that heads up. And in addition, say you
have a TSA pre Check or a Clear or a
Global Entry, you know, thing to spend, and they the
spend is usually once every three years on credit cards,
like once you spend it, because you're only going to
get a membership once every three years or five years
for pre Check. So but yes, almost every credit card
at this point offers a TSA pre check credit.

Speaker 10 (01:03:07):
And again if you're a member of.

Speaker 9 (01:03:10):
A Delta, sky Miles et cetera American Airlines advantage, you
also probably get a discount unclear or pre check, so
check those as well. It's a great way to also
get memberships for your entire family by using different credit cards.

Speaker 3 (01:03:24):
Yeah, and also you get on those credit cards from
the airlines like I have United and Jet Blue. Can
you get certain discounts on drinks and food and whatnot
on those planes by using their credit card on the
plane to make a purchase. So, but a lot of
that you.

Speaker 9 (01:03:40):
Get a lit Yeah, and check flight credits that you
might have if you got bumped from a flight or
you cancel the flight, may.

Speaker 10 (01:03:47):
It expire expired?

Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
Right?

Speaker 9 (01:03:48):
I've had that before and I saw four hundred bucks
from a Delta sky Miles account go away. So I
definitely check that and it makes it you know, set
reminders on your phone. I started doing that because of
all the different perks that you have to burn by
the end of a month or a quarter year. So
I started making reminders on my phone that I just
as I use the twenty five dollars resume credit on
my Delta reserve card.

Speaker 10 (01:04:09):
I mark it off and then it resets for the
next month.

Speaker 9 (01:04:12):
And you should get in the habit of that because
for the amount of money you're paying for your credit cards,
in some cases, you need to make sure that you're
using all of the perks to benefit the annual fee.

Speaker 3 (01:04:22):
Right, that's one of the reasons you pay for that.
You are paying for it. You might as well take
advantage of the Bennies brand table. No, absolutely not. Brandon
digital strategist Fisher who can be found that at Fisher
on X and threads and at Fisher dot media if
you want all those tips and those wonderful ideas Fisher
dot Media. Thanks for coming on this morning, sir Mary Chris,

(01:04:43):
Merry Christmas again, thank you. Some morning rain, even some thunder.
It'll be very windy all day, becoming partly cloudy later.
Highs in the mid fifties again, very very windy wind.
Adviceory in effect, Ken Risotto and from Mark on your
Friday one eight hundred and three to two one zero
ten one eight hundred three two one zero seven ten

(01:05:04):
will squeeze in a call or two next seven to
ten wr We are coming right back.

Speaker 1 (01:05:09):
This is the Mark Simone show on seven ten WI
came from Mark Today.

Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
Here's Kenler's.

Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
It's so good to be with you once again. Last
couple of minutes here if you want to give us
a call at eight hundred three to two one zero
seven ten, eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten,
we could squeeze in one more call in the meantime.
I don't know if you saw this. The MTA is
crying poverty once again, and they want to hike tolls
and congestion pricing once again to cover their budget gap,

(01:05:39):
while tens of thousands of people are still jumping turnstiles
every day. So unlike President Trump, who has covered the
hole which is the southern border by building the wall
to prevent illegals from streaming across, and now he could
take care of people who are here illegally and get
some people to leave on their own or deport them,

(01:06:02):
the MTA continues to bleed income because people just jump
over the turnstiles every day. They're doing nothing about it.
They tried to put up these little silly fins. It
costs like seven million dollars. Nobody I guess tested it.
So people are just jumping over those coming in free.
And again we're losing four hundred million dollars that we

(01:06:23):
know of a year, and they continue to look to
others to make up the difference in money. Let's go
to our phones, Dan and Merrick. Good morning to you.

Speaker 11 (01:06:30):
Happy holidays, Happy holidays, kind of pleasure talking.

Speaker 3 (01:06:34):
To you likewise.

Speaker 11 (01:06:36):
Okay, listen, I want to tell you quit it's about
the city and stuff and workers. I came from a
friend of mine that's a professional out here, a doctor,
not a psychiatrist, a regular doctor. But he had it
for me that a lot of his, well a lot
of police are going to be retiring at the end
of the year, a lot in the thousands. And he
had told me that a lot of them the last
six months have kind of been like hiding out.

Speaker 3 (01:07:00):
And that is we had to cut you because we're
down to our last ten seconds here. But yes, don't
be surprised. You will see a massive decrease in the
number of police. And that's exactly what zoron Mumdani wants. Unfortunately,
New Yorkers are going to suffer. You're going to see
crime go up, You're going to see homelessness everywhere. And
this is what you get when you vote super liberal
Democrat folks. Unfortunately, Well, thank you so much to Mark,

(01:07:21):
Thank you to war for letting me sit in today.
I'm Ken Rosotto. I'll be in for Larry Mente on
Monday morning. Don't Go Anywhere. Buck Sexon and Clay Travis
