Speaker 1 (00:00):

an instance.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Now back to the Marximo Show on WR.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hey, let's take some Balls's go to Bob and New Rochelle. Bob,
how you doing?
Speaker 3 (00:19):
I think I'm putting into a crust of your.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Old men O. Sorry to hear that.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Yeah, I gotta take the Cruss Bronx every morning from
New Rochelle, and it's an absolute nightmare.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
I'm sure you know.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
So people are the country who don't know what the.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Cross Bunk is.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
It's stretched ninety five. Where you're going, where you're going
when you take the Cross Bronx.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
I gotta drive my wife to work. She fabricates metal
doors in the Bronx.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Why do you have to take the Cross Bronx. You
just go straight down greet donware.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
She's right off the Cross Bronx. I follow Waves and
it sends me that way all the time. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
No, don't trust that Waves. I don't trust that Waves
at all. You know that Waves is a little corrupt.
They can get paid off by sponsors advertisers to have
you drive by their business or their billboard. Don't trust
that one.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
They're sending me down ninety five every day, so I
don't know who's getting paid off there.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
But anyway, what I'm calling for that is is how
they let people in the lanes, Hanhandling, I don't sound heartless,
you know, if you're downing your luck, down your luck,
they shouldn't be.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
In a highway in the middle.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Of the lane. Yeah, well, actually they should make that
an Olympic sport. He's talking about. On the Cross Bronx,
which is a major highway, there are these illegals standing
right in the middle of the highway, right in between
the second and third lane, selling candy bars. And you're right,
so much taking for money. Yeah, but there's so much
traffic on the Cross Bronx. How did they get in there?
To get into that middle lane there? It's an amazing
(01:34):
thing slow.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Everybody's moving at two or three miles an hour.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
They just probably walking between the cars. It's still an
amazing feat to watch. You're right, it's totally out of
control there that Crossbronx. A good point. Thanks for calling.
Let's go to Dave in Chicago.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Dave, how you doing, good morning, Mark. I'm doing very well.
Thank you, Mark. I got home very late last night,
about one o'clock in the morning, and I turned on
Larry Cudlow and I saw you and Joe Concha what
I'm a little unclear about. I thought the discussion. I
thought the discussion was about Governor Kathy Hockel. Is he
(02:08):
dropping in the polls due to her endorsing Mondannie to
at least what's your name?
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Stefanic? Yes, she took a drop over her mom Donnie.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Endorsement and this continues. Does it look like Kathy Hockel
will absolutely lose because it took her a long time
to endorse Mondanna.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Yes, it looks like Kathy Hockel's in big, big trouble.
Thanks Dave, Because, as I pointed out on the Larry
Cuddler yesterday, if she's five points ahead in those public
polls that are all rigged, it means she's really ten
points behind. They rig those poles by about eight to
ten points. So if she's only five points ahead, she's
probably really actually behind. Let's go to Jerry in New Jersey. Jerry,
(02:51):
how you doing?
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Good morning, Mark? How are you?
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Let me check good? Good?
Speaker 4 (02:57):
I think you're good. I don't know if it's a
scare tactic or not at the air traffic controllers. However,
Trump should pull a Reagan if you don't show up, fired,
bringing the military air traffic controllers, and that would end
that right there.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Well, that was a little different situation. That strike was
about money and they went on they went on strike.
They all walked out at once, So that was the
reason for that. But this is not as scary. There's
a couple of airports operating now without controllers. But what
they don't want you to know if that has happened
in the past, and what it means is you simply
controlled from another tower at another nearby air Right, it's
(03:35):
not good, but it's not as scary as they make
it out to be. And the other reason Reagan wanted
to do that he had just taken office, he had
just become president, and the air traffic controllers thought they
could show him and they all walked out, paralyzing the
whole nation. Well, he fired them all, brought in the military.
It was an incredibly, unbelievably bold move on the part
(03:57):
of the president. The real reason he did that as
he wanted to show the Soviet Union at the time
how tough he could be in China, and they took
that as a warning that this guy doesn't bluff and
you can't call his bluff and this guy is fearless,
so that that's the other reason he did that. Let's
go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Mark.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I'm okay. Mark. The only one who could pull Kathy
Hokal's chestnuts side of the fire is Curtis Sleeverer, because
if Mondami gets elected by next summer, she's going to
be posting the polls. Mark. You're one hundred percent right
about Rkers Island being the only island that had as
a bridge and it's easy to get to. I had
(04:41):
to go bail somebody out there years ago, and me
and this guy I con mentioned his name, Me and
Jimmy Motts. We got in his sports car and we
went to the parking lot. And if you're going to
go on the bus, it's the free buses. The Department
of Corrections. They pat you out before you go on
the bus to make sure you're not bringing contraband I
(05:04):
waited in the car on the sun deck and I
got a sun there and it was in the summer
and you could build the Blasio and Mario Cuomo because
the book, look, correctional facility not far about a mile
away from my house. They closed that and they're building
co ops over there and build the Blazzo. At the
(05:26):
time said oh, he was also one of these I'm
going to close like his island. And every all the
community groups in every borough were up in arms because
he said he was gonna build like you said, five
five prisons.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
And it was that was behind it.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Exactly stop it.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
He's going to stop his own idea.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
And there's a co op there now they're they're building
a high rise call up where the prison is. That's
why they really wanted it.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Yeah, well, great call, Vincent, excellent point. Oh when we
come back, Steve Moore will be with us, the great economist.
We've got lots to talk to him about. Coming up
next on seven to ten wor
