Speaker 1 (00:00):
Give w R. Brie said on the iHeart Radio app
to hear Mark Simone and all the WR hosts in
an instead, go back.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
To the Mark Simon show on WR.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Robert in
West Center. Robert, how you doing.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Well? Thank you very much and happy piece of tiphany.
Mark is so on the on the money with Pete
hegsett the raid with the Hooties, the bombing of Iran,
and then now this raid demand So far he's three
and oh he's flawless. He's doing a great job. But
the funniest thing yesterday was with that idiot mndamie when

(00:43):
he said I have to call the president and chastise him.
Could you imagine the White House? They probably put him
on hold for like an hour with the president. This
guy's on the line. He wanted to take a call.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
No, no, no, I know how Trump Panalty's I've watched
him for about thirty years. When an idiots on the phone,
he's rolling his eyes at everybody in the room, like
pointing at the phone and making faces. But when he's
on the phone actually talking to his said, he just
knows how to button them up. He says, yeah, I
really want your opinion on this. Yeah, let me know
what you think. Well, that's it coming from you. That's

(01:15):
very it's good advice. It's very important. And then he's
rolling his eyes for everybody in the room, holding the
phone away from his head and making faces. And now
he I'm sure he said at the end, thanks for calling. Yeah,
anytime you got any thought, Yeah, call me, call me,
keeping till you got my number, right, Yeah, well yeah,
keep calling me. He's very good at that. Remember, a

(01:37):
big part of his life is being a salesman. I mean,
besides building an empire and building one hundred stories skyscrapers
all over the world. I mean, you got to be
a hell of a salesman. He's great with that stuff.
Let's go to Harriet in Brooklyn. Harriet, how you doing.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Oh, it's a pleasure speaking with you.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Mark.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
You're the best. Mark. We've got to get blakeman. And however,
if there is a watchman on, if there is continued
voting without voter ID, there's no way that he's going
to beat these communists.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Well, actually you can. There is cheating with that no
voter idea and all that stuff. But usually you got
to get like an extra seven percent to overcome the cheating.
Blakeman is going to be great at this. First of all,
he's the only one qualified to be governor. He actually
is a governor right now. That's what he does in
Nassau County. It's basically the governor of Nassau County. He's
done a phenomenal job, best county executive in America. Nobody

(02:33):
more qualified than Blakeman to be governor. Now you might say, then, well,
what is he good as a candidate. He has been
brilliant on social media the last week. The last week
he has moved. Just check his social media every day.
He's got videos up of him. He went to Buffalo
to go to the Buffalo Bill's game. That looks good.
You know, you got to win these upstate voters. He
went to a diner, then he went to this place

(02:55):
that's a great Italian restaurant in Buffalo. You would think
this guy's lived in Buffalo all his life. He's great
at this stuff. Pretty amazing stuff. Let's go to Joel
in Florida. Joel, how you doing.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Good morning, Mark, welcome back. It's a hypothetical question. Where
do you see New York City one year from today, right.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Here, right next to Long Island, right below Westchester. Where
would I see it being?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
I mean under Mondamie. Where do you see New York
City one year from today.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Well, go back to Doblasio and look at one year
into his first term, and it's the same thing. This
is going to be Deblasio third term. It's just going
to be more Deblasio. He's in fact, it's the same
exact people, same deputy mayors, same commissioners. Although he does
find it's the same thing with the Blaso. You know,
you look at who we appointed. This is when he
pointed to I'll find it. He just appointed somebody to

(03:47):
some position, like a real left wing wacka. But that's
exactly what Deblasio kept doing, the same exact thing. Now,
let me just clear up one thing about the fire commissioner.
All hell, he appointed a fire commissioner with no fire
department experience. That's perfectly normal. Half our fire commissioners never
had any fire department experience. Every mayor at some point

(04:12):
appoints that fire commissioner who had never ever been involved
in the fire department. The last fire commissioner at Robert
Tucker was great. The guy was phenomenal. No experience with
the fire department and he was great at it. Who
had caught your point? Charles Hines, very respected guy in
New York politics. Never had any experience to the fire department.

(04:33):
He was a fire commissioner before Robert Johnson at Tucker
Robert Tucker last fire commission with no experience. Who was performing?
Laura Kavanaugh who was pretty good, no experience at all.
Laura had never been anywhere near a fire department and
it was actually Obama that got her the job, called
up Eric Adams and got her the job. She was

(04:55):
pretty good without any experience. You could name half the
fire commissioners. Howard Safer was a great fire commissioner. No experience, none,
as in the fire department. So it's perfectly normal. Let's
go to sal in Long Island. Sal. How you doing hi?

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Good morning, Mark?

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yes, Mark.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
I was having an idea and was a little bit radical.
But with the violent crime having in the cities where
guns and knives are prevalent and people are getting seriously
hurt or killed, there should be a punishment or a
deterrent for the person with the gun and knife.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Oh yeah, we had all that stuff, mandatory jail if
you have it. We had all these tough gun laws.
You know, you go right to jail with a gun
if you use a gun, and you had an extra
ten years. We had all that stuff. Thank Andrew Cuomo
for getting rid of all that stuff. He's the guy
that got rid of bail. It's Andrew Cuomo. You know,
no bail, no jail, close the prisons, drop all this
and him and the Democrats and the legislature and Democrats

(05:51):
all over in different cities, different states. They got rid
of all these things. In fact, even if you've been
picked up thirty seven times, if you'd come into court,
you remember it used to be three strikes near out.
You could come into court. Happens every day forty two
prior arrests. That judge lets you out. No bail, no jail,
thanks to Andrew Cuomo. Hey, when we come back, Bill O'Reilly.

(06:12):
We haven't talked to him in a few weeks. He's
been away. I've been away. We'll talk to Bill O'Reilly
next on seven to ten wor
