Speaker 1 (00:00):
You just heard the news.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Now you'll find out what it all means.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Hey, smarts alone on seven tenor.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Hey, well it's a rainy day to day. It's gonna
be like this all day. Don't forget we go off
daylight Saving time Saturday. It's gonna start getting dark like
five point fifteen starting Sunday. Hey, we'll get to the
mayoral race. There have been some changes. We'll get to
that in a moment. We'll get to the World Series.
We'll get to President Trump his trip to China. He's
still on the way back. Won't get back here till

(00:33):
about three in the afternoon. We'll get to CBS firing
lots of people, and a whole lot more coming up.
We'll get to Jerome Powell and all of that. So
the mayoral race. Things are changing again, now, I know.
I said that yesterday, and yesterday the news was, according
to the polls that had come out, that Cuomo was
narrowing the gap. Well, according to the polls that have

(00:57):
come out since in the last twenty four hours, the
gap is widening and Mom Donnie is increasing his lead
dramatically over Cuomo. Now you say, well, how could it
flip flop like that. Well, the problem is we haven't
had any real polls ever in this mayoral race. We've
got all these junk polls, these cheap polls, these college polls,

(01:18):
these media polls. They're not very good and they're not
very reliable. But the major polls, the major polling companies,
and the top posters. Normally, the campaigns behind the scenes
bring in the best posters, you know, McLaughlin and Trafalgar,
those kind of guys. They haven't been spending the money.
Nobody's been doing the polling, so we're relying on these

(01:38):
junk poles and again they're not very accurate. But the
latest that have come out in the last twenty four
hours Emerson College poll and a Maris College poll. Again,
these are these these are colleges that are they're too
cheap to have a football team, so to get attention,
they start a polling company and instead of having to

(01:59):
build a football stadium and spend one hundred million on
a football team, you spend a dollar fifty and you
give some students some iPads and you take your polls.
But so they're not very reliable polls. But in one
Mamdanni has increased his lead to sixteen points, forty eight
to thirty two over Cuomo, forty eight to thirty two

(02:19):
over Cuomo. In the other one, Mamdanmi's lead is twenty
five points. He's leading Cuomo fifty to twenty five, fifty
to twenty five. Now and Curtis Lee, well, we he'd
be the best mayor of all the bunch, the best
guy in the race. But he's not. You know this,
Curtis must get out. It's forget that. Forget that. Even

(02:42):
if Curtis is out, it doesn't it doesn't help Cuomo.
He still would be way behind. With Curtis out, Cuomo
would still be behind. Now if you look into the
real detail of the polling, the problem is Cuomo's unfavorability.
His unfavorability is fifty five percent. People don't like him.

(03:02):
They actually can't stand him for the things he did
as governor. He did horrible things as governor. People felt
the effects. He created the crime wave with all his
no bail, no jail and closed the prisons and all
his nonsense. He killed a lot of people's relatives and
nursing homes. He drove their electric bills up, closing Indian Point,

(03:22):
and go on and on he's the guy that picked
Kathy Hochel for us, so a lot of people. The
unfavorability rating on Quomo is just so high, just very
very very high. It's hard to overcome that no matter
who drops out of the race. Now, the other problem
is Mom Donnie's favorability is still very high. His likability

(03:43):
is fifty seven percent in these polls. That's huge, fifty
seven percent likability. Now here's the real problem. To stop
Mom Donnie, it's not about Curtis getting out of the race.
To stop Mondannie. And John McLaughlin told assist in the beginning,
and he's a real expert on this stuff. To stop Mondanni,

(04:04):
you needed the big, big, big, big donors to put
the money into these super packs, and the superpacks needed
to run ads around the clock everywhere TV, social media, everywhere,
bombard people with these ads exposing every bad thing about
Mom Donnie, all the bad video, all the bad things
he said, all the stuff. They had to see these

(04:26):
ads around the clock for weeks. Well, that's normally what happens,
but in this case, the big donors didn't do it.
They were afraid to do it. They were afraid because
your name will be attached to that pack. You can
trace the contributors, and they didn't want to offend Mom Donnie.
They were worried he would win and they wanted to
have a good relationship with him. So the big donors

(04:47):
failed you in this race by not funding those super packs,
those packs that would have run all the ads. And
that's the real problem. Mike Bloomberg has jumped in at
the last moment yesterday, late yesterday announcing he's endorsing Cuomo.
Now you might say, didn't he do that two months ago? Yes,

(05:09):
but he's doing it again, second endorsement a Cuomo. He
also kicked in one point five million to the campaign.
He wrote a check to Cuomo for one point five
million for his campaign yesterday. Now, some people will tell you,
people who know Bloomberg will say, well, you know, he's
very meticulous with the data. He studies data, so he

(05:31):
obviously saw that Cuomo had a chance, and that's why
he jumped in with the one point five million. But
there are other people that know Bloomberg that will tell
you one point five million is like a quarter for us,
It's like nothing, it's a It's a very low contribution
from him. So they didn't they interpret that that he

(05:54):
doesn't think Clonoma was gonna win. He doesn't want to
waste ten million on this. So the fact that it's
a low amount by Bloomberg standards might mean that he's
not too confident in Cuomo. Now, don't listen to anybody
who gives you this anecdotal evidence. You know, people will
tell you everywhere I look, there's yard signs, it doesn't
mean anything. It's anecdotal. Or hey, I went to the

(06:15):
poll and it was the longest line. Well that's just
one polling place. Doesn't mean anything. But we do know
for a fact that voter turnout in the early voting
is huge. It's still every day about five hundred percent
more than normal. It's like five times normal. Now some
think that will help Cuomo. Some think that Mamdani has

(06:36):
energized his crazy lunatic left wing base and they're coming
out like crazy. But it is high. It is very,
very very high. If the turnout, which normally is you know,
the blogs you will get elected with Amfagoto, was twenty
three percent turnout something like that, and we've had these

(06:56):
elections twenty two percent turnout, twenty eight percent. But in
the good old day when Rudy got elected. You had
to turn out like a seventy eight percent. If we
can get back to that, that could change things. And
it looks like we're headed that way with huge, huge,
huge voter turnout. Now there's video coming out. You know
you've seen these eclipse of Mam Donnie said something horrible.

(07:18):
A year ago, he said something disgusting. Two years ago,
he said something anti Israel, anti Semitic. Three years ago,
you see these all the time, said something bad about America,
something like you've seen these clips all along. There's a
new batch of mom Donnie from years ago. He was
speaking at rallies back then, not to run from mayor.

(07:39):
He was a new assemblyman, but he was running around
speaking at these anti Semitic, crazy left wing, awful rallies.
And he wasn't dressed like he's dressed now. He wasn't
in a suit and tie. He was dressed like in
protester garb, dressed like a protester, hair was much longer, scragglier,
but again, dressed like a protester and screaming, not the

(08:00):
polished delivery he's using now. Screaming and a lot of
his anti Semitic defund Israel, yelling and screaming about Israel.
But it's ugly stuff. It's really ugly stuff. So there's
piles of that video that we never saw before now
coming out in the New York Post has a big
story on it today. You'll start sing it tonight on TV.

(08:21):
Some of this video from these rallies. I don't know
if it changes anything. We've already seen bad stuff from
Mom Donnie. Everybody's aware of his past comments and all
the crazy stuff. So I don't know if it changes anything.
And it's way too late to really make a difference
in anything. So again, I can't tell you what to believe.
These polls show an absolute total victory, maybe even a

(08:47):
landslide from Mom Donnie. And again, it has nothing to
do with Curtis. You can yell and scream. The Curtis
has to get other race. It's not going to help
Cuomo in any way. According to all these poles, and
again they're all junk poles. You can't rely on them
too much. But we'll keep on it for you. We'll
get back to the mayoral race. President Trump successful meeting

(09:07):
with President she in China. It went for hours. We
seem to have gotten everything we need. We got the
trade deal, we got the fentanyl deal, we got the
deal for them to buy our soybeans, we got the
deal for the chips, we got the AI deal. Now,
a lot of people will point out, you can make
these deals with China, we have in the past. President

(09:29):
Trump did in his first term, and they just don't
stick to him. So it might be great that we
got all these deals, but again they don't really stick
to it. So I don't really know what it means.
But things went very well. They went as well as
they could go considering and they's just check. Yes, stock market
up two hundred points, so obviously Wall Street happy with

(09:49):
these deals. It looked pretty good. The President is flying back.
You know, it's a hell of a long flight. It's
an amazing and long flight to come back from Korea China.
So he'll be on the plane eighteen hours, twenty hours,
whatever the hell it is. He's going to land today
at three o'clock. He'll be back at three o'clock. He'll
get to the White House about three thirty. At five o'clock.

(10:13):
He's got a Halloween party he's hosting. I don't know
why they're doing it tonight. But tonight's the big Halloween
White House party. So he makes this five country trip,
he flies to nine thousand places, he comes back for
twenty hours on the plane, and then he's going to
go right off the plane to a Halloween party and
host it. Now, contrast that with Joe Biden. Remember once
in a while, once a year, Joe Biden would make

(10:35):
some sort of European trip and after the trip, you
wouldn't see him for three weeks. He'd be bedridden for
three weeks just to recover from the trip. So what
a difference. The shutdown continues, Chuck Schumer, the King of shutdowns,
Mister shutdown, Chuck Schumer.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Right now we're staring down the barrel at two crises
at once, a healthcare crisis and a hunger crisis, and
both are caused by one man, Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Which doesn't make any sense if you look at a situation.
Thirteen times they've put it up to a vote. Let's
reopen the government. Everybody will get all their benefits. Let's
reopen for whatever it was, seven weeks, ten weeks, and
give us a chance to negotiate. Every single time Schumer
had the Democrats voted down thirteen times. They voted it
down over and over. They just keep voting it down.

(11:24):
Speaker Mike Johnson.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
We pray the Senate Democrats come to their senses before
the situation becomes too dire. On Saturday, this gets very real.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Yes Saturday, the Snap benefits the forty two million on
food stamps, Now what normally would happen. Forty two million
on foodstamps don't get their benefits. A lot of local
food banks and those sort of charities would step in
and help them and get them what they need to
get through this. We're hearing reports that many food banks

(11:55):
and charities are going to withhold that because they think
it would help Trump. You know, there are a lot
of left wing crazy people running these charities. They don't
want to help Trump, so they're going to withhold doing anything.
So they will try to starve people just because of
their Trump arrangement syndrome.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
Or air traffic controllers and TSA agents and park rangers
are about to go without a paycheck. You've got families
and children that rely upon Snap benefits that are going
to go hungry here at the end of the week.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Now with the air traffic controllers we're not up to
full speed. There's a lot of delays. If you go
to the airport, look up at that big board, like
seventy five eighty percent of the flights are delayed. There's
been some ground steps. This is due to the shutdown,
not enough air traffic controllers. Now the Senate is taking
time off now tomorrow they're all flying home. All these

(12:47):
senators are flying home, so they'll have to go through
the airports and deal with the shutdown. Slow down at
the airports. It's now going to personally affect all of
them this weekend. So let's see if that motivates them
in any way. We don't have the clips that you
heard Schumer speaking. He then took questions from reporters and

(13:08):
he lost his cool. He started yelling and screaming at
the reporters, a sign I think that he's just ridiculously frustrated,
not about the shutdown, but he knows it's the end
of the line for him. He knows he's finished as
a politician, and he just made a mess of his
own career. I mean a hell of a career, but

(13:29):
in these last couple of years, he's just made a
mess of things. He's been a disaster as a leader.
You know, when he yells and screams about forty two
million on food stamps. People hear that and they say,
why are forty two million on food stamps? That's like
a monument to the bad leadership of Chuck Schumer. Forty
two millionaire in food stamps. So Anywa're got a lot

(13:51):
to get to. Hey, Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I
don't know what to do about this. Should you not
ever buy Ben and Jerry's ever again? They don't own
it anymore. It was bought by Unilever, a big company,
and Unilever's okay, But this Ben and Jerry, these are
two crazy, nutjob left wing kooks. They wanted. They're in
a big fight with Unilever. Ben and Jerry now opening

(14:13):
their own ice cream company called Magnum ice Cream Company.
Here's what the fight was about. Ben and Jerry wanted
to launch Palestinian themed ice cream. Palestinian themed ice cream.
Unilever said no. Ben and Jerry got all crazy and
opened their own company. They're gonna make it. It's a

(14:35):
watermelon flavored ice cream. Now you might be saying watermelon
ice cream, Well, there's a reason for that I didn't
know this. Watermelons the symbol of Palestinian solidarity, appearing on
signs at protests in social media comments because the fruits red, green, black,

(14:56):
and white colors matched those on the Palestinian flags. If
you ever hear of a Magnum ice cream company, stay
the hell away. It's Ben and Jerry with their Palestinian
ice cream. Liberal nutjobs will all go crazy buying it,
but they'll then get the punishment. You're gonna have to

(15:16):
eat watermelon ice cream anyway. We'll take some calls in
a minute. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
ten
