Speaker 1 (00:00):
Mark Simia on sevent ten.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Wr Hey, very rainy day to day. It's going to
be this horrible all day, nothing but rain and wind
all day. It'll be gone by tomorrow. Tomorrow night's Halloween,
so everything will clear up for that. Even the Washington Post,
the left wing liberal Washington Post, big editorial today telling

(00:24):
Democrats time to end the shutdown, stop holding the government hostage.
Schumer the king of the shutdown, it says in the
Washington Post, Schumer has allowed the shutdown to drag on
because he's worried about fending off a primary challenger in
twenty twenty eight. Now a lot of people close to
Schumer say he will just give up. He will not

(00:46):
even try to run in twenty twenty eight. He'll just
give up, just give up, and that leaves him a
few years. You know, he's an older guy. Time to
time to wrap it up anyway. Probably went from the
little Ben Franklin glasses to the big Swiftylzark type of glasses,
the mister Magoo glasses. Time probably to just if he's

(01:11):
you know, people say, I don't even remember this, but
they say when he started forty something years ago in Congress,
did he was a man of principal and he was
a principal guy, and he.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Would do the right thing. I don't even remember this,
but if that's the case, you know, go back to
that for your last couple of years. Just do the
right thing. You know. All you got to do is
they got this. What do you call it? They have
these crazy names. A clean CR means continuing resolution. What
does that mean? It means they sign a thing where

(01:41):
they keep it open in another seven weeks. And then
you sit down and you got seven weeks, and the
negotiate seems pretty simple. No matter what the fight, no
matter what the dispute, you sign this thing. Okay, well
we'll keep it open seven weeks while we while we
settle it. They tried this. They vote on it every day,

(02:02):
and the Democrats have voted it down thirteen times. They
will not do this continuing resolution thing where you keep
it open to the seven weeks. But here's the Washington
Post today yelling and screaming at humor. Stop this, this
is silly. Open the government up. Stop holding everything hostage.
So we'll see what happens. But they're all supposed to leave.

(02:24):
You know, these are politicians and these Republicans are just
as bad when it comes to this kind of stuff.
They're on vacation every two seconds, you know, they take
that nine thousand weeks off a year. They're all leaving
this weekend. You know this, Schumer will tell you everybody's
going to die. It's the worst crisis. We're all going
to die. And then it goes away for the weekend.

(02:44):
So but they'll have to go through the airports and
they're going to see the air controller stuff and the delays,
and they'll they'll feel it this weekend as they fly
home and fly back. So Jerome Powell, the Fed Chairman,
did lower rates quarter of a point, which is nothing.
He still has disappointed everybody. Powell is a real Trump

(03:07):
derangement syndrome. Guy really hates Trump. Doesn't want to do
Let me can quite figure this guy out. We know
he hates Trump, so he made deliberately not lowering the
rates to where they should be, trying to hurt Trump.
Although some people think he's just a dumb economist, he's
just a bad economist. And he has this thing about growth.
You know, we're on track to really grow the economy

(03:29):
and he's trying to stall that growth. Because as a
dumb economist. Some believe, some very smart guys believe he's
one of these dumb economists who thinks growth could be inflationary,
so you want to slow the growth so you don't
get too much inflation. Here's Powell yesterday at.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
A time when we have tension between our two goals.
We have, you know, strong views across the committee, and
as I mentioned, there were strongly differing views today. And
the takeaway from that is that we haven't made a
decision about December.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Now for a million dollars, tell me what he just said,
I don't know. There's supposed to be another rate decrease
in December. See. The problem is if he's delayed this
for like a year, he's delayed, delayed, delayed, delayed. So
when you delay the rate decutting the rate too long,
then you have to do an even bigger cut. So
you're gonna have to cut every month now to make

(04:22):
up for his delays.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
In support of our goals and in light of the
balance of risks to employment and inflation, today the Federal
Open Market Committee decided to lower our policy interest rate
by a quarter percentage point.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Wow, I would like to spend New Year's Eve with
this guy, well, an exciting guy.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Though some important federal government data have been delayed due
to the shutdown, the public and private sector data that
have remained available suggests that the outlook for employment and
inflation has not changed much since our meeting in September.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Now, he'd be great as a spokesman for somebody because
you don't know what the hell he's saying. It just
comes up and you pretend like you're listening, but you
don't know what he said. The mayor race, a bunch
of poles came out in the last twenty four hours
showing Mamdani slaughtering Cuomo by one is sixteen points, one
is twenty five points. But again, these are all these

(05:13):
college poles, these junk poles. Curtis Sliwa on Staten Island yesterday.
Cuomo actually went to Staten Island, which is something he
would never do. But he was suddenly seen on Staten
Island yesterday. Then, now that's a one borough that's pretty
much always going for Sliwa. That's a Sliwa boro. So
maybe it's trying to eat into Sleiwa's lead there. But

(05:34):
Curtis was on Staten Island Governor Cuomo.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
In that primary debate, when all the Democrats were asked
which borough did they visit the least, they all said
Staten Island, and they giggled and laughed like a bunch
of kids. Staten Island is won't forget how you distin
dismissed them with Joan Mondami and the other Democrats.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
I'm there all the time. Yeah, ain't no, he is,
That's been all the time. Now. I think with Staten
Island it's the least population, lowest population of any borough,
and it tends to always always go Republican, which is
I think the only brother that traditionally.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
Does that, Cuomo, fairweather friend. I think people in Staten
Island know that both him and Zora are coming there
to get the votes, but they've never been there before,
and I guarantee you after the election, they'll never be
on Staten Island again.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
I'm Staten Island strong, through and through. Yeah. So here's
Mam Donnie yesterday. Everyone always says that I'm running on
an affordability agenda. Well that's not quite true. I'm running.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
On a beec agenda.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
It's not a bacon, egg and cheese.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
It's bringing economic change on the side.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Oh, isn't he clever? Now? What that the Bodega union,
Bodega Association, Uh, it's kind of the union for bodegas.
They came out and they endorsed Mom Donnie. Can you
believe that they endorsed Mom Donnie. Now, this Fernando Mattea,

(07:11):
he's the very colorful co founder of it's the United
Bodega's of America Association. He resigned. He quit because the
president of this organization endorsed Mom Donnie. So Matteo resigned
and he's going to hold a news conference later today
denouncing this endorsement. And he contended it's illegal. It violates

(07:35):
the Bodega Owners Group's nonprofit status. So if they are
indeed a nonprofit five oh one c three, they can't
get political. So this is going to be a big
problem for them. But that's what he was talking about, bacon,
egg and cheese and all that, Cuomo yesterday. Let's see
what he was up to.

Speaker 6 (07:52):
The truth is, there's a quiet civil war going on
in the Democratic Party rule.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Notice he's backed talking slow and funny, going up and
down and talking like that. Again.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
The truth is there's a quiet civil war going on
in the Democratic Party right now you have an extreme left,
radical left Bernice sanerws AOC mom. Donnie is just the
banner carrier for that movement versus the mainstream moderate Democrats.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
They now call me moderate. They used to call me liberal.

Speaker 6 (08:28):
Now I'm a moderate because the whole party shifted.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Yeah, he talks slow again. You know, he always talks
to you like you're the one that's stupid that he
talks like this. Now he has a good point there
that he's now considered the moderate. He got really lucky.
You know, Normally, if you do terrible things as governor
that everybody hates, you know, the no bail, no jail,
the taxes, all the things he did. So many people

(08:54):
left New York when he was governor. We lost four
congressional seats under him. So governor, and then the sex scandal,
the sexual harassment scandal, he has to resign in disgrace.
He's under investigation by the Ethics Committee for the book deal.
All these horrible things happen, then normally you can't run again,
and if you did, who would back you. But he

(09:17):
got really lucky in that the guy that shows up
to run against him is the craziest left wing socialist,
communist nut job Mamdani. Ever, so next to him, Cuomo
looks like a moderate, even though he governed as an
extreme far left guy. So but the problem is Cuomo's
unfavorability is just so high it's tough for him to

(09:40):
ever care. It's not about Curtis and to keep yelling
Curtis has together. It has nothing to do with Curtis
getting out. Let Cuomo earn those votes if he wants.
And here here's more from yesterday. That's what this election
is about.

Speaker 6 (09:50):
It is that civil war. I believe that far left
will destroy the Democratic Party. I believe it will destroy
the Democratic Party nationwide if that far left becomes dominant.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Yeah, it's happened before where the Democrats went so far
to the left they just lost everything. And if they
lose the midterms, then you'll see the revolution. And that's
happened before. And then when that happened, somebody rises up
of Bill Clinton and leads them back towards the center,
towards the mainstream. And I don't know who that would

(10:24):
be this time. That Newsom is pretty good at that.
I know he's a far left guy, but he's a
good actor. He's good at particularly Clinton did that a
couple of times in his career. He was a left
wing governor. Denny was a right wing governor. He's like
a weather van. I Knewsom might have that talent. And
more of Mom Donnie essay, I think he's talking about
his father. Then with the Civil War, Oh no, this

(10:46):
is Mom Donnie's father. Now you get all this video
coming out from Mom Donnie from years ago where he
said horrible things about Israel, the police, America, all this stuff.
Then we find his father, who's a real left wing
kook of a professor. If you wonder how come all
these twenty sethings they're voting for these crazy well, it's
because of the universities. They were taken over years ago

(11:09):
by left wing kook professors, boards of trustees, and presidents,
and they went they became radical in doctrination centers. So
you know, if you an impressionable college, get four years
of these people telling you how great socialism is, and
this Momdani father telling you he's a professor telling you
all this nonsense.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Then with the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln generalized the solution
of reservations. They herded American Indians into separate territories for
the Nazis. For the Nazis, this was the inspiration. Hitler

(11:50):
realized two things. One that genocide was doable. It is
possible to do genocide. That's what Hitler realized.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
I'm laughing, it's not funny, but it's so ridiculous. So
this is this mom, Donnie father, this is the guy
that raised him. This guy came to this country like
twenty seconds ago, and now he's an expert in America
and Abraham Lincoln in the Civil War. And he's explaining
to the students it was Abraham Lincoln who was the
original Nazi. Abraham Lincoln was the inspiration for the Nazis.

(12:27):
This is what goes on in these universities, not just him.
You got all these professors teaching this crap the kids,
and they're all writing it down. Huh, Abraham Lincoln, don't tree,
they're writing this. This is the kind of lunatics. Teaching
has been going on for like twenty thirty years in
our universities. So you've raised generations of socialist left wing kooks.

(12:50):
And this mom Donnie comes from this guy. This was
his father and the mother's just as bad. Here's it
was more Cuomo yesterday.

Speaker 6 (13:00):
You now get down to the last week. They're starting
to focus. They're starting to learn who Zoron really is
and what he has said, and what he stands for
and what the Democratic Socialist agenda is all about.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Yeah, so I don't know. I don't know. These polls
are all just the worst polls, junk polls, not great polls. Hey,
New Jersey. By the way, you are seeing, well Chitdarelli
was behind, he caught up. It's pretty much tied in
all the polls. There may be some polling data that
the now shows Chittarelly with a slight lead. Also, you

(13:38):
got to bear in mind this is important. Republicans always
under poll in New Jersey. Republicans under poll in New Jersey.
Speaking at Chittarelli, Sean Hannity doing a special show tonight
on Fox News at nine o'clock. It'll be a town
hall with Jack Chitarelly tonight at nine on Hannity. That's

(14:00):
millions of people that should help him. Heresterdarelli.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
Her entire campaign is based on a stack of lies
about me, her disdain for the president, and she can
fly a helicopter none of which is going to fix
New Jersey.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Yeah, now, President Trump pointing out she's a terrible candidate.
She is running these commercials about you know, I was
a helicopter pilot in the Navy. I flew helicopters in
the Navy as a Navy helicopter pilot. So I've been
asking all these Navy pilots about all this, and they
keep telling me she probably wasn't very good if she

(14:35):
was just flying helicopters. Apparently, when you go into the
Navy to be a pilot, if you're any good, you're
flying a jet. You're flying the real stuff. The helicopter
is the easiest, simplest thing. If after her entire Navy career,
all she ever flew was a helicopter, pilots tell me
she's not that good a pilot if she did that.
And then she had a problem with her graduation, some

(14:56):
sort of scandal there. So she's a mess of a candidate.
Left kooky. Do you've had enough of these left wing
idiot governors? So anyway, hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
