Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey is Mark Simone. Here's the bonus edition for you
podcast listeners. We always give you a little extra on
the weekend. So the big news of the week, of course,
was Letitia James Tish James getting indicted. I think you'll
see a conviction here. But here's the interesting thing I've
noticed in all the news coverage, the slanted network news,
all the network news coverage, all the slanted anchors, whenever

(00:23):
they would do the story, they would say Trump going
after his political opponent, or another example of Donald Trump
going after a political opponent. You always hear that he's
going after his political opponent. Now, remember when Letitia James
was going after Trump. Did anybody ever say Leticia James
going after her political opponent? They never said that once.

(00:44):
The double standard democrats and the media are famous for.
And she went after Trump for the most idiotic, nonsense,
drummed up charges that meant absolutely nothing. That are all
right now as we speak, getting tossed out by courts.
But just remember that, never once Latissa James going after
her political opponent in court today unbelievable. Hey, you know,

(01:09):
President Trump. One of the great things they've been doing.
They're blowing up those drug cartel ships that are transporting drugs, fentanyl, opium, cocaine,
all that stuff. They've hit four boats. Now, four boats
have been blown out of the water. Now they've killed
a bunch of people. Actually seventeen people on those four
boats have been killed. But President Trump finally revealing they've

(01:30):
got a lot of intelligence on this. Apparently there's some huge,
huge drug lords. There's a Sinaloa cartel leader. I guess
that's like the Salamanca's on breaking bad. But the cartel
leader is in custody. He's going to prison forever, but
they's trying to make a deal to get a lighter sentence.
So he's given up all this information. That's how they

(01:51):
know these ships. That's how they're blown up. But President
Trump pointing out every ship cocaine and fentanyl, every ship
has enough on it to kill twenty five thousand Americans.
So by blowing up four of them, they have saved
one hundred thousand American lives. That's great news. You know,
Charlie Kirk, what he was doing, it was a great mission.

(02:14):
He would go to these college campuses, or he would
set up these Turning Point USA centers at a college
campus and what they would do is just have dialogue.
So if you're left wing democratic, angry left wing democrat student,
you could talk to a Republican or a conservative. You
could talk, you could discuss the issues, you could have

(02:36):
a back and forth, you could hear both sides. This
is what the colleges are supposed to do when you
send your kid to college. That's what he's supposed to
get exposed to, all the different points of view, different
to learn about every But they won't do that anymore.
The colleges a couple of decades ago became left wing

(02:56):
and doctrination centers more than left wing, but turning out
generations of socialists and crazy left wingers. But what Kirk
was doing, Charlie Kirk, that's what was supposed to happen
on every college campus. Supposed to hear dialogue, engage in debate.
Remember theys to have debating societies at college. You can't
have that anymore because there's no argument, there's no debate,

(03:17):
you're not allowed to debate anything. Well, they do have
about I think twelve hundred colleges have a Turning Point
USA center, you know, started by Charlie Kirk and apparently
after his death. They started to get requests from other schools,
high schools, and colleges to have a chapter on their campus.
They've gotten up to seventy five thousand requests from schools

(03:39):
around the country. But here's what's happening. A lot of
the left wing kook professors are trying to censor this,
and it's happening at Rutgers. There's one professor led a
big petition to stop to close down the Charlie Kirk
Turning Point USA Center at Rutgers. Can you imagine this.

(04:00):
These are the same colleges charging ridiculous amounts of tuition.
They're trying to censor any opposing view. They don't want
your kids to have any dialogue, any debate, any open discussion.
So Rutgers should be ashamed of themselves and get rid
of some of these professors. It's terrible. Now, what about
the network news where everything is slanted partisan? Well, there

(04:21):
may be some changes at CBS. Now CBS is the
most corrupt left wing. Well, I shouldn't say the most.
ABC holds their own on that. The Sunday shows are slanted,
the nightly news is slanted. It's so one sided, slanted partisan.
So the new owners of CBS. It's David Ellison, son

(04:41):
of Larry Ellison, the oracle billionaire. He bought paramount CBS.
He brought in Barry Weiss to take over and run
CBS News. This has the CBS News staff fuming, furious.
They're livid. Barry Weiss wasn't the New York Times for years,
but she was a concer sservative lean conservative at the

(05:03):
New York Times. And she was unfairly thrown out of
the New York Times for being conservative, and she fought back.
She started her own website, and she started her own
online thing and became pretty successful at it. So and
she's a great writer and a great news journalist. The
new president, the new owner of CBS has brought her
in to takeover CBS News. In fact, they bought her

(05:26):
website or company for like one hundred and fifty million.
So mutiny has taking place all over CBS News. They're
all talking about how awful this is. They're outraged that
anybody who has any conservative or even neutral leanings would
be running CBS News. They're all threatening to quit. The
only thing is they would love it if these people

(05:47):
who would save them a lot of trouble having to
fire them all. They got a clean house and get
rid of all these left wing kooks, slanted lunatics. But
if they would quit, that would be great. But Barry
Weiss has finally took taken over, and she finally showed
up for the first CBS News meeting that she attended.
They have these meetings every day to discuss what to do,
how to cover something, who to have on. But she

(06:09):
was there and it shocked a lot of people. She
not only came to the meeting very vocal on who
they should book. When it was a subject was Israel
Hamas the ceasefire agreement, she said, let's get Steve Whitkoff
on the air, Let's get Jared Kushner on the air.
You know, they would never do this at CBS News
if they were covering these peace agreement, they would bring
on some college professor to tell you what was wrong

(06:31):
with it and how terrible it is. But she wants
every side to be representative, every voice to be heard. Fairness,
if you're going to have on Democrats talking about how
awful the agreement is, then you got to have on
Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner talking about how wonderful is
so the staff is furious. The new owner, Allison, put
out a memo of the staff. He said he can't

(06:52):
stand this partisan environment consumed by hostile disputes. Said Weiss
will bring a rigorous, fact based reporting and a relentless
commitment to amplifying voices from all corners of the spectrum.
This is the last thing they wanted CVS News. They
don't want the voice from all sides of an issue.

(07:15):
It's just like the universities, just like Turning Point USA.
They'll try to close you down if you want to
give the other side. Hey, remember dominion voting systems, the
dominion voting machines, and the yelling and screaming about how
it'd rig the election, all that stuff, Well there were lawsuits.
Dominion was suing everybody. Remember they settled with Fox News
for seven hundred million. They they've settled with Newsmax, They've

(07:40):
settled with Rudy Giuliani, They've settled with Sidney Powell. They've
settled with just about everybody. It's pretty much over the
dominion voting systems. The lawsuits, they're all pretty much settled.
But now here's the interesting twist. They're selling the company.
In fact, they've sold it. It's been purchased by Liberty
Vote has bought the dominion voting machines company, Liberty Votes Affirm,

(08:03):
headed by a GOP election official strong ally of President
Donald Trump. So that's interesting. The right wing, the GOP,
the Republicans now control the dominion voting systems. But Liberty,
this new company, apparently they agree with Trump that you
got to go with paper ballots. It's a much more honest, reliable,

(08:24):
more legitimate way to do it. So Dominion will, I guess,
be converting these machines to more and more paper ballots. Hey,
you know the terrible wildfires in California that burned down
huge chunks of Los Angeles in California. Well they turns out,
of course it was started by an arsonist. They found
the guy, they've tracked him down, they arrested the arsonist.

(08:45):
But now they've been through his social media. Turns out, yeah,
he's a left wing Trump hater who started all the fires.
You know, you've got all these left wing kooks who
are doing assassinations, are doing violent attacks on Ice, and
now the firebug who started the California forest fires. Is

(09:06):
a Trump hater, is a left winger. Comparently climate change
was a big issue with him. They found all kinds
of posts, you know, when you're screaming about Trump climate change.
Here's another one he loved Biden. He shared a post
from Joe Biden attacking Trump. So it is a left
wing Trump hating Kook. Another example of left wing violence here, Hey,

(09:29):
if you rent a car. When you rent a car,
they'll say do you want to purchase the insurance with it?
And I'll tell it's an extra twenty five a day whatever.
Always get the insurance. Always get the insurance. Because most
of these car companies, if you buy the insurance and
off the record, they'll tell you no matter what happens

(09:49):
to the car, you don't have to pay a thing
and it doesn't go on your insurance. As they say,
you could leave the car in a ditch and you
don't have to pay anything. But here's one reason you
might want to start doing this even more than before.
Used to bring the car back to the car rental
company and the guy, like in the parking garage. You know,
the guy would walk around look at the car. Maybe
he could see a scratch, maybe he didn't see the

(10:10):
little nick. Who knows well all that's changing. HERTZ has
started this and the other companies will be doing it.
When you bring the car back, they now drive it
into a little thing that's partitioned off. What it is.
It's an AI scanner that will scan your car when
you bring it back. And this AI scanner doesn't miss anything.

(10:32):
You could have the tiniest nick that you'd need a
magnifying glass to see it. The AI scanner will pick
it up. So when you bring your car back, the
guy will pull it into this little thing, the AI
scanner will read it. Now, here's this woman who brings
the car back. You couldn't see the nick it with
your own eyes, and they bring it back. They ran

(10:52):
it through the AI thing and before she even left,
she got the text already stating they found damn on
the vehicle four hundred and forty dollars. It's a tiny
scratch you can't even see. So she's gone crazy. I
think she wants to sue the car company. She doesn't
want to pay it. And she's got a point. You know,
if you can't see it, if it takes AI to

(11:13):
detect it, and how's this worth four hundred and forty dollars.
Rental car companies defend this, saying it takes the human
error element out of it. It will provide precision objectivity,
no longer a subjective process. But get the insurance all
the more reason to get it now when you rent

(11:34):
a car. So, hey, Ice doing a great cheb. You know,
ICE is now on track at the rate they're going,
by the end of the year, which is not that
far away, it's two months away. But in twenty twenty five,
they will have deported six hundred thousand illegals, six hundred thousand.
Now they got two million more on their list they

(11:54):
want to get to. But six hundred thousand a year,
that's pretty impressive. Already gotten four hundred and fifty eight
thousand illegals out of the country. And actually they they
say they may be able to speed up the process,
step it up a bit since the start of Trump's presence.
Now here's the other thing. They'll get out six hundred

(12:15):
thousand a year, But they also report one point six
million illegals have voluntarily self deported. They've already left. One
point six million have left because they see what happens.
You know that ICE looks pretty ferocious and rough, but
that's good. It inspires people who are here illegally to

(12:36):
leave because who wants to get grabbed by ice and
you end up in a prison and al Salvador. So
now the of course they've got this fight going on Chicago.
He's going to block ice. He's gonna here's the problem,
they're not going to get away with that. First of all,
under our system, under our laws, our constitution, federal law,
trump's local law. Federal law takes precedent over local law,

(13:01):
and the law backs Trump on sending the National Guard in.
So this is a Chicago's taken it to court. They're
declaring ice free zones. But they'll lose in court. It'll
go to the Supreme Court and they'll lose. It's all
been tested, you know, the greatest example was John F.
Kennedy when those southern governors wouldn't let black kids go

(13:21):
to college. They were refusing to let them in and
Kennedy had to send in the National Guard and the
Army to get those kids into college. So it's been
done before. Of course, when it was a Democrat, it
was heroic, it was wonderful. But the Trump will win
in the courts. Hey, this has been the bonus segment
of the podcast. Thanks a lot for listening. I'll be
here live ten to noon every weekday. I hope you

(13:43):
