Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, it's Mark Simone. This is the bonus segment of
the podcast. We do this just for you podcast listeners. So, hey,
great news. CBS News has brought in Barry Weiss, the journalist. Now.
She had been at the New York Times. She was
a Democrat. She's a liberal, but the unfair, ridiculously partisan
New York Times was too much for her. She spoke out,
(00:23):
ended up leaving over it, and then went after them.
So CBS News has hired her to clean up CBS News.
It's extremely biased, extremely partisan. They've been caught doctoring interviews,
editing up stuff in a deceptive way. They got all
kinds of problems. Now they have new owners, David Ellison,
(00:44):
son of Larry Ellison, and he wants a clean operation,
so they brought her in. Obviously, there's mutiny taking place
at the New York Times. They don't want to be unbiased,
they don't want to be neutral, they don't want any
of this. They're all threatening in a leave. I think
a couple have, but most of them haven't. She put
out a little memo the first couple of days saying,
(01:06):
I want everybody to send me a letter explaining exactly
what you do that caused a whole big stink. The
Writer's Guild jumped in and unions. But then she pointed out,
just tell me what you do. You're not going to
be fired over this. There'll be no retribution of any kind.
So and she's been showing up at the actual meetings,
day to day planning and getting involved in the picking stories,
(01:29):
booking guests. So it's hands on, its hands on. But
and she finally got rid of one person who was
a bit of the woke mob at CBS. So it
looks like things are going to change there, and it'd
be very interesting if they go neutral. You got NBC, ABC,
CBS very very very biased slanted. So CBS goes neutral,
(01:53):
just fair balanced. That could be interesting and if it
does well ratings wise, you'll see other net works to
jump in. So this is the test case. This could
mean a lot. Now the whole woke everything is on
the run, although it still exists in a lot of places.
You take Seattle, the mayor there, there was a big
(02:15):
debate about locking up repeat criminals. This is the problem.
You know, guys like Cuomo with their no bail, no jail.
You got these criminals that are robbing raping, looting, stabbing,
and they've got like thirty priors and they're still roaming
the streets nothing. They never get locked up. So there's
a big move now to start locking up repeat offenders.
I know it sounds insane. You have to have a
(02:37):
movement for this. But so they're having a debate Thursday night.
The Seattle mayor's in a debate, and he actually just
said it. He said, I have no desire to put
repeat criminal offenders in jail. He said the criminal system
is a disparate impact on black and brown communities. He
thinks it's a racist thing. And then he actually says or.
The opponent said, well, what about a person just committed
(02:58):
six or seven crimes, Why would you let them out again?
And he said, well, maybe they're hungry. My remedy is
to hear their life story, see how we can help.
I mean, so it's still out there. It's killing the Democrats.
It will eventually take them down, but it's still out
there in Portland, in Seattle. You still hear it in
(03:19):
Chicago and other places California. He's speaking of the police.
The NYPD just got a whole new fleet, one hundred
and forty new hybrid SUVs with high tech features, all
sorts of stuff in there, like James Bond sort of
technology that will actually thwart ambush's. They're actually Ford Interceptor
utility vehicles. They're about fifty thousand each, but they've got
(03:41):
on board sensors they can monitor all the way around
the car. They see if anybody's approaching. It can warrant
officers of any ambush or anyone walking up to the vehicle.
They have a manual pursuit mode button. I don't know
what the hell it is, but it sounds good and
it helps cops actually improve driveability power delivery during critical scenarios.
(04:04):
Vehicles also have a dark car mode that allows officers
to switch off all internal lights and dim the drive
council to help you keep your vehicle safely hidden. I
don't know exactly why you would want that. Oh, that
sounds bad. That's like those cops on the side of
the highway looking to catch speeders. That way they can
(04:24):
hide better. I don't know if I like that feature
along with the new technology. Oh, they're hybrid, okay, that's okay,
that's okay. Thirty five percent less fuel than the old cars.
They also feature crash avoidance tools, blind spot monitoring, automatic
emergency parking brake, which you need in densely populated areas. Hey,
(04:45):
the President as a whole commission. They're looking into these
George Soros types, these people that fund Antifa, fund the protests. Listen,
I mean, protesting is obviously a freedom of expression all that,
but some of these protesters are paid professional agitators, and
there are people funding them. It's not just Soros, there's
a whole bunch of these kind of guys. So they've
(05:07):
dug up one of them, Roy Singman. They believe he's
behind a lot of Antifa riots. There's a group that
studies all of this. Singmund was behind all sorts of
riots and protests. The team followed the trail of money.
You know, a lot of what they do is they
funnel the money to one organization to another organization. They
funneled to five organizations before it gets to Antiva, trying
(05:30):
to hide their identity. But this group has been tracking
them down. They actually call it the protest industrial complex,
this billionaire network that funds all of this stuff. So
you've noticed that President Trump is getting better and better
at memes and the you know, he was always good online.
He was always good at Twitter, always good at trolling.
But the memes are getting even better. And it turns
(05:54):
out there was Dan Scavino who was behind a lot
of this. He did a lot of it, Deputy chief
of Staff. But now they brought in it's another person,
Kaylin Door, deputy communications director, who apparently is absolutely brilliant
at putting together these memes. You know, the sombrero stuff,
all of that. It's been really, really effective. You know,
(06:14):
next year is the two hundred and fiftieth Birthday of America.
There's going to be many, many events, parties, gallas to
support all of this. One thing the President wants to
have ready by then is the new ballroom at the
White House, massive ballroom. They think it will cost about
two hundred million. President Trump will pay for a part
of it. Donors will pay for the rest. Now, the
(06:37):
other thing he wants to do is an arch, a
massive stone monument. You know Washington Square Park, you got
that beautiful arch and of course the most famous one
in Paris, the Arc de Triumph. Well, he wants to
copy that exactly that. Although the models he's got, he's
been showing off these models. It's that, and it's got
(06:58):
a big golden eagle on top and all of that beautiful.
But he's got three or four different models. He's been
showing them off to people on the Resolute desk. One
is like the size of Washington Square Park. One is bigger,
like the size of Paris the Arc de Triomphe. But
there's a third one that's bigger than all of them.
It's just absolutely huge. It just towers over everything. So
(07:20):
he's trying to figure out which one to go with. Now,
this will be great because when he unveils this next year,
it'll drive the left wing absolutely insane. They'll protest it.
That's the other thing. They have to do a lot
of protecting of this thing because left wing will it'll
be just a symbol of Trump's stuff and they'll be
going after it left and right. Christian Dior opens a
(07:41):
brand new New York City flagship store. Now here's the thing.
These big clothing stores, these big famous designers, with the massive, beautiful,
expensive clothing stores. Fifty seventh Street, Fifth Avenue, Madison Avenue.
The problem is people don't buy clothes that much in
a store anymore. It's mostly online. So they've got to
do something else. If you go to a Ralph Laurenz
(08:01):
store on Madison or in the Americana and these Ralph
Lurenz sta you'll notice half the place as a coffee
shop now because they're not selling anything. The retail is dead.
So literally half the store is Ralph's coffee and they
always brag about everything in there. Ralph's special blend, it's
a Columbae. It's a brand you can buy in supermarkets.
(08:23):
You can buy it yourself. And then if you go
to the Long Island one, it's Ralph's special brownie, Ralph's
special cookie. They actually get it from a bakery down
the street, Butter Cookery. So same thing in Manhattan. You
can just go buy this stuff yourself. But you gotta
You can't just sell clothes. It's not a big business anymore.
So this new Dior store, apparently we'll have a spa
(08:43):
in it, it'll have a restaurant. That's a it's just
evolving every designer. Look at the Louis Vutan the new store.
Half of it's a restaurant. Now they have to get
into some other business and do something else. Hey, speaking
of woke, Howard Stern claims that you know all these
claims about he went woke. He said, it's absolutely not true.
(09:06):
I'm not woke. He said. If I'm woke, the world
has turned upside down. He says, I have no interest
in woke. I don't know anything about woke, and it's
not macho to give a blank about somebody. I'm not
being fired. I'm talking as serious right now about extending
in some way. Yeah, something's happening. It's serious. Obviously. It's
(09:29):
not that they want to get rid of them. They
just don't want to pay him anymore. So the money
will be drastically reduced. And just look at that quote.
I'm not being fired. I'm talking to serious right now
about extending in some way. That doesn't sound so solid.
But he says, I've never embraced being called woke. I've
never been woke. However, a lot of people record a show,
(09:51):
so they all just went back through the old tapes.
September twenty twenty three, he said, I'm woke. I take
it as a compliment. I woke mother Blanker, and I
love it. So there's a lot of that. Here's another
one twenty twenty presidential election Stern quote, I am woke.
I think it's a compliment. Is another one from another year.
(10:14):
Here's how woko i am I believe the election was
not rigged. So he has said it a million times,
although suddenly denying it right now like crazy. So, Mom, Donnie,
the debate this week, he got hit pretty hard on
a lot of stuff. You know, all this stuff. The
free buses. He has no power to make buses free.
That's the MTA, controlled by the state, the governor. He
(10:36):
has nothing to say about free buses. Impossible to do.
What's the other one he was talking about, Oh, raising taxes.
He can't raise taxes, mayor. That's the legislature. Now. The
other one is the big rent freeze. People pointing out
he can't freeze rents. He doesn't have the power to
do that. It's actually it's up to the rent guidelines
(10:58):
Board commission. The mayor has no power on it. It's
not going to work. Hey, we're talking about John Bolton
getting indicted. Who's next. Well, a lot of people think
Adam Schiff is coming up next. Look for Adam Shift
to get indicted very soon. Also when it comes to
Letitia James, look for them to add charges. There may
be new charges coming for Letitia James. Now it's not lawfair.
(11:23):
Lawfair is when you get indicted in four different cities
at the same time. In fact, I have Here's a
list of Republicans arrested under Biden, the Biden administration. These
are Trump people. Trump people have got arrested, Trump supporters.
I can't read it to you because it's seventy eight names,
seventy eight of them, from Peter Navarro to Rudy Giuliani
(11:48):
to Mark Meadows. It goes on and on and on.
These are all Trump administration, Trump supporters, people involved with Trump.
It's seventy eight of them. Here's a list of the
Democrats arrested under Donald Trump. One I'm actually two. I
guess Bolton and Letitiachus. So seventy five versus two. You
(12:10):
see the difference. It's pretty obvious which side the law
fair is on. Hey. I also remember, you know they
did other things besides the lawfair. I remember the d
banking Right after January sixth, they had banks throw out
people like Trump, Trump himself. These are people with businesses, corporations.
(12:30):
You can't run a business without a bank. You have
to have a bank. Remember JP Morgan Chas tells Trump
he has to leave the bank. They can't handle his accounts.
This is his bank for forty years. He then goes
to Bank of America. We can't touch you, we can't
handle you. D banking is basically the way of putting
somebody out of business. The Biden administration did that to
(12:50):
a number of people, a number of people, even though
they had Epstein as a client. They loved Epstein because
he put billions in They had no problem with his account,
but they throughout Trump and Trump's supporters. It was absolutely ridiculous. Hey, well,
thanks for listening. This is the bonus segment. If you're
a podcast listener on the weekends, you get this special
bonus segment. I'll be back Monday ten to noon.
