Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, it's Mark Simone. Welcome to the special bonus segment.

you follow me on Instagram and all of that. Speaking
of which, what is the most instagrammed city in the world.
Most instagrammable city in the world where people put up
pictures of the most instagrammable city in the world. Researchers
analyzed over eight hundred and ninety million Instagram posts featuring

(00:46):
whatever location was being used the most in instagrams in
the world. Number one New York City. New York City
actually the most instagrammable city in the US. Now this
is very important because nowadays that's the way you do business,
that's the way you get tourism. You know, remember the
old days they run that I Love New York campaign.

(01:07):
You'd run these TV commercials to get tourists to come
visit New York. It's a big source of revenue. It's
very important. But nowadays, you know, very few people watch
TV anymore, network TV. So Instagram is the biggest way
to generate business tourism. Same thing with the restaurants. Used
to be you'd hope to get that New York Times

(01:28):
restaurant review. Oh, that would put you on them, but
it doesn't mean anymore. You can get the biggest, greatest
review in the New York Times and nobody will show up.
But you get the right Instagram accounts and you're all
over Instagram. There's a line out the door the next day.
So New York being the most Instagram city in the
world is very very important. Number of posts for each

(01:49):
city was counted and they divided all that, but New
York City boasted over one hundred and eighty three million
Instagram posts. Biggest things where the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center,
Christmas Tree, butt shots all over New York. Now it's
important in New York because last year we got sixty
two million travelers, sixty two million people spending money here.

(02:11):
Very very important for the economy. Hey, you know the
French president Sarkozzi married to Carla Bruni. You know French
president Sarkozi. You know he was convicted, Yeah, convicted of
conspiring to raise campaign funds from Libya. I don't know,
but he got convicted and he was sentenced to five years. Well,

(02:32):
he went to prison this week. It's hard to believe
the president of France went to prison. In France, it's
like seeing an American president go to prison. You know,
when they were trying to get Donald Trump, when they
weaponized the justice system and had him on trial in
four cities at the same time, Remember, they started to speculate, well,

(02:52):
what would happen if he got sentenced to prison. How
would you put someone who's an ex president under the
protection of the Secret Service? How would you put them
in prison? And there were different theories on that they'd
have to send the Secret Service in with them to
protect them, or they'd have to his prison would have
to be a special setup somewhere where the Secret Service guards. Well,

(03:13):
France had to deal with this question. They sent one
of their presidents to prison, Nicholas Sarkozzi. He's in prison.
What they did was they sent two police officers with
them at all times to guard him in prison. So
he's in a private area of the prison. He's in
a cell, but in a nearby cell are two policemen

(03:35):
to guard him, their version of the secret service, So
we'll make sure nothing can happen to him while he's
in prison, The Interior ministers told the europe Born Radio.
Two police officers they're actually part of the security detail
that protects former president, so it's actually their secret service,
and they'll be stationed permanently in neighboring cells to keep

(03:58):
an eye on him. Hey, you know, Chuck Schumer's in
big trouble, big trouble. This guy's got no chance of
getting reelected to anything ever. He knows it. I guess
it's is it next year? Yeah, it's next year. So
when it happens, I don't know what he does. We'll
even try to run now, scaring him off even more.

(04:20):
AOC is the one most likely to run against him,
and she's raised a very impressive twelve million just in
the last period, twelve million just recently. So she's up
now to twenty one million. So in this last fundraising
period she raised twelve million. Now listen to this, she

(04:40):
raised twelve million. Schumer raised one hundred and thirty three thousand.
I think that tells you the whole story right there.
Let me repeat that she raised twelve million. Schumer raised
one hundred and thirty three thousand. So he's finished. He's
got to get out. She has twenty one million dollars
on hand right now. Schumer has eight million dollars on hand,

(05:03):
and she's already spent. She's actually serious about this. She's
actually spent millions on social media. You know, you could
look like you're a great instagrammer and all that, but
you could also spend a lot of money to make
sure your Instagram and your TikTok and your everything is
going all over the place. And she's been spending millions

(05:23):
on that. That's actually more important now than TV commercials
or anything. But she spent a lot of money on
fundraising ads, which which will help her bring in even
more money. She's actually now the highest spending political advertiser
on Facebook and Instagram nationwide. Now, this is the problem
for Democrats. You got these crazies taken over the party,

(05:47):
from Donnie to AOC, the far left taken over the
party if they want to ever get back to the
White House. We've seen this before historically, and it goes
on for a couple of years. But then what has
to happen is a centrist has to show up, like
a Bill Clinton. Same thing happened there. Bill Clinton showed
up and showed the party the way back towards the center,

(06:09):
and that's how they got the White House back. Now
we haven't seen that centrist. You got this crazy JB. Pritzker,
you got the new scum, and you got all the
So we haven't seen the centrist show up yet. But
even Bill Maher, who's the one Democrat who sometimes talks
common sense to them, he said this week you need

(06:30):
a return to the old America. He tells the left
to scale back the radical ideology. And he said, the
smug self righteousness, the smug self righteousness is turning a
lot of people off. Stop coming up with radically new
and terrible ideas and in the next breath yelling and screaming,
there's no debate. You have to do it because when

(06:52):
you got conservatives, you got liberals, but you got the
people in the middle, and that's who Democrats are losing
with this far left nonsense. And he said, you know
you're not gonna We're not going along with reinventing society,
often pointlessly we're not canceling anything. We're not in the
transgender you know, for teenagers, for children. It's all ridiculous,
open borders. It's all backfired on them. And then Mars

(07:16):
says the real problem Democrats have and again the middle
the independence turned off by this, the Democrats total unwillingness
to debate anything, just yelling and screaming and angry at everybody.
And stop telling people math is racist, stop with the
queers for Palestine, stop the looting is cool. Stop the

(07:36):
men's football team playing the women's team. He says, it's
just smug, self righteous, idiotic. Again, it's starting. It's going
to take another year process. Usually what has to happen.
Democrats will have to get wiped out in the midterms,
and then the far left will lose all their clout
within the democratic world. And then that Bill Clinton, moderate type,

(07:57):
common sense, old fashioned Democrat then will rise up and
take the party back towards the center. But we'll see
what happens. Hey, we're we're in the weekend already, and
it's early voting starting this weekend. Early voting. You need
a huge turnout race to that's the only way Mom
Donnie loses huge huge turnout. Republicans have to show up

(08:20):
in big numbers. Independents have to show up in big numbers,
So very important. Make sure you get out and vote.
Get everybody you know to get out and vote. Also,
you got a couple other races you can also make
a big difference. Even if you get stuck with Mom Donnie.
You can make a big difference by throwing out a
lot of city council members. You got a lot of
Republicans running from city council. Just switch city council, get

(08:45):
rid of some of these left wing koops, bring in
some Republicans, put some balance on the city council. That'll help. Also,
you got the world's craziest district attorney, Alvin Bragg, whose
whole thing is let the criminals out. You can get
rid of him in a way week and have that's
a key race. Maud Maren she's the Republican candidate. She's
really a Democrat for years, but common sense likes to

(09:08):
put the criminals in jail where they belong. Get rid
of Alvin Bragg, vote for Maud marrin or district attorney.
That will make a big difference in the crime problem.
Speaking of crime, Leticia James pleads not guilty in court.
She's gonna have a tough time, though, very tough time.
That documents make her look awfully guilty of mortgage fraud.

(09:29):
And who's next, Well, Adam Schiff has got a he's
probably keeping a good eye on this case because he's
gonna have the same problem, same sort of mortgage fraud,
you know, lying on these applications claiming it's a primary residence.
Everybody thinks Adam Schiff will be next to face charges.
So now they're going to say the same thing. It's lawfair.

(09:50):
The definition of lawfair is you're on trail trial in
four different cities at the same time from the administration.
You know, the so zempic is everywhere. There's more ozempic
than ever before. There's a bunch of these things. It's ozampic,
there's a GOV there's what's the other one. There's like
four of them now that are big. They're so big.

(10:12):
Costco Costco is getting into the ozempic business. Can you
imagine this everything at Costco? The sizes so it'd probably
be like a shopping cart size full of ozempic. But
it's very expensive. This ozempic. You know, it's like thirteen
hundred bucks a shot, and I guess you'd take it
every week, but it's very, very expensive. But ozempic now

(10:35):
being sold at Costco it's actually a four week supply. Now,
this is pretty amazing. A four week supply for five
hundred dollars. That's like one hundred and twenty five bucks
a week a shot. That's like one tenth of what
it normally is. It's at more than six hundred Costco
pharmacies nationwide. Shoppers will need a valid prescription and you've

(10:55):
got to be enrolled in the Costco Member prescription program,
you see. That's what it's all about. They want you
to it's such a great bargain. They're probably losing money
on it, but it'll get you to enroll and start
getting your other prescriptions. Costco wanting to take over the
prescription business. That's what it's really all about. They call
what they call it a lost leader. It's like the

(11:17):
Costco hot dog, which is actually the most delicious hot
dog in the world, and they lose money on it.
You have to go to Costco and eat it there.
It's phenomenal, even the bun. It's the best hot dog
bun ever, but you got to go order it there,
and it's just a great way to get you in
the store and keep you coming back. It really really
does work. Yeah. Now the problem, the only problem. You

(11:40):
got to remember this is when it comes to this ozempic,
you get what's called ozempic face. You know, it's like sagging.
If you see this with people they go on ozempic,
they lose weight, body looks great, but they look older.
Their face looks older, their skin looks older. Plastic surgeons
have been telling me ozempic is the best thing for
their business because after they lose the weight on ozempic,
they got to come to a plastic surgeon get the

(12:00):
face cleaned up. The other thing is dentists are now
reporting ozembic teeth. It can cause a lot of problems
with your teeth, with your gums. So before you think
about that, just bear all that in mind. Hey, I
Love Lucy. That was like the first big major like
that was the Seinfeld of the fifties. In other words,

(12:22):
everybody everybody watched I Love Lucy. He was so big
nineteen fifties. You remember Fred Mertz with the pants. Remember
the pants came all the way up to his chest,
all the way up to his breasts. The pants were
pulled so far up ethel Fred Mertz. Do you know
there's only one person left alive from I Love Lucy?
Only one cast member is alive today. Take a guess. Yeah, absolutely,

(12:46):
it's a little Ricky, A little Ricky who is His
name is Keith Thibodeaux, although he used a different name
on the credits. He was listed as Richard Keith, but
he played Little Ricky Ricardo. He's still alive, he said.
Lucille ball very very demanding. Yeah, I worked with her
once or twice, and I remember she would talk like this.

(13:09):
She had that kind of a voice in real life.
Very very demanding. But it was a Elvis show, so
one cast member left from the whole thing. Hey, this
has been the bonus segment of the podcast. Otherwise you
can listen live ten to noon every weekday. Have a
great weekend. So I'll talk to you Monday at ten

(13:29):
on seven ten wor Thanks for listening.
