Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is a podcast from wor Now the WR Saturday
Morning Show. Here's Larry Minty, Hello and welcome.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
To Saturday Morning. Coming up on today's show, New York
Congressman Mike Lawler explains why he confronted Congressman and House
Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries outside his office. Former Westchester County
executive and Newsmax host Rob Astorino is glad New Jersey
Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Chittarelli is suing his opponent, Congresswoman
(00:35):
Mikey Cheryl. The very funny, accomplished actor Jeremy Piven who
played Ari Gold on Entourage, talks about his stand up
tour and his stop in New York City, and Rich
DeMuro from wr's Rich on Tech says trying on shoes
is now going high tech. But let's start with Congressman
(00:57):
Mike Lawler. You are my new hero. I loved that
you took the Continuing Resolution right to the office of
the Keeam jeff Reason. I know the Democrats are saying, oh,
that was self aggrandizing. I don't think that's what you're doing.
I think you wanted to show the world that all
it takes is for the Democrats to sign on and
(01:21):
the government opens back up.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Am I right, no question. I was showing two things.
Number One, there's a clean cr on the table. We
already passed it through the House. Leader Jeffries voted no
on that measure. He voted to shut the government down,
and that it could easily be passed by Chuck Schumer
and Senate Democrats along with the Republicans to open up
(01:44):
the government. And number two, since they continue to raise
the issue of the Affordable Care Act tax subsidies, I'm
already signed on to legislation to extend it by a year.
Join me, join me on this bill. There's fourteen Republicans
eleven Democrats that are already signed on. Let's do it.
Let's extend it by a year, give people more certainty,
(02:05):
and give us time to actually fix the fundamental problem,
which is Obamacare. Because if you know, since Obamacare took effect,
healthcare premiums have risen by over sixty percent nationwide. It
didn't solve the problem it says it was intended to solve,
which was affordability. So Democrats are saying the only way
(02:26):
it's affordable is with these tax subsidies. If that's the case,
then there's something fundamentally wrong with the system, is there not?
And so my point is, look, okay, great, let's buy
a year. I'm already on this bipartisan bill. And he refused.
He wouldn't do it, and he wouldn't do it because
this isn't about healthcare. This is about Democrats shutting the
(02:46):
government down so they can show their far left base
that they're standing up to Trump. That's it, That's all
this is about. That's why the government is shut down.
That's why our military is not going to get paid
next week. That's why women and children who rely on
Snap and Wick are not going to get the benefits
that they need. It's why border patrol agents are not
going to be paid. It is also they can put
(03:09):
on a show and show their far left face that
they're standing up.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Yeah, you keep saying they, and I agree with you,
but I believe it's really one man. I think it's
Chuck Schumer. I think he got scared back in March
when he signed on to the Continuing Resolution and AOC
and the left came after him. His poll numbers drop.
That's when all of the discussions started to happen about
AOC taking them on. I think that scared him. I
(03:36):
think this is Chuck Schumer getting everybody else to follow
him so that they won't face the same backlash.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
It is certainly the Schumer shut down, and I've called
it pet many times, but the reality is it's both
of them. They're both petrified. You have you know, I mean,
Hakeem couldn't even answer the question about whether or not
he endorses Zoorron Mandani because they're TwixT in between. He
knows he's a disaster for New York, but he can't
say it. And he can't say it because you know,
(04:07):
you have the potential of, you know, a primary from
a New York City councilman who's close to Zoran Mandani.
And then of course you have AOC lurking against Schumer.
And that's what's driving this. And Schumer took a lot
of heat, as you pointed out back in March, Jefferies, remember,
(04:28):
voted no and had his conference vote no back in March,
and they were yelling at Schumer, you got to fight,
you gotta fight. And Schumer did the right thing. Then
he kept the government open, passed the clean cr you know,
and the hypocrisy here is what I was calling out
they previously said we need to keep the government funded
(04:48):
and open. Thirteen times under Joe Biden voted to keep
the government open with clean CRS. I voted every single
time to do it. Why because shutting down the government
is idiotic and it doesn't serve the American people. And
so I pushed back when Republicans have tried to do it,
and I'm pushing back now when Democrats are doing it.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
You mentioned Zura Mamdani. Let's talk about him for a second,
because he put out a which I thought was a
disqualifying statement on the anniversary of October seventh, and a
new poll was out by Quinnipiac that shows he stayed
exactly the same. Curtis Lee, what has stayed exactly the same.
Andrew Cuomo has gained ten points. I know this is
(05:28):
a tough thing to ask for. I love the guy,
I know him, and but is it time for Curtis
Lee to endorse Cuomo and back out of this thing.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
Well, I think ultimately the only way we're going to
defeat Dorah Mandani is that it's a one on one race,
and I think between Andrew and Curtis, they have to
look at the polling. They have to look in their
hearts and do what is right by the city. And
if the pathway is not there for either one of them,
they need to get out of the way. Is there's
(06:02):
too much at stake here. This is not a joke.
This is not about party politics. This is about ensuring
that Zooran Mandani and about socialist who espouses some of
the most insane policies, including defunding the police, shutting down prisons,
legalizing prostitution, freezing the rent, free bussing government run grocery stores,
(06:24):
raising taxes by nine billion dollars on an annual basis.
These policies will destroy New York City, it will cripple
New York State, and it'll be disastrous for the country.
And so to me, this is about country, this is
about the state and the city that we love. It's
not about party politics. And so they're going to have
(06:47):
to really look and make a determination and do what
is right by the people. If there's not a pathway,
then you need to get out.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Representative Mike Lawler my new hero for what he did
this week represent New York seventeenth District. Sarah, thank you
so much and look forward to talking to you again.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Thank you appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Still to come. You know him as Ari Gold in Entourage,
but now Hollywood actor Jeremy Piven is coming back to
New York with his stand up tour and he's here
to tell us about it. Next back now to.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
The WOR Saturday Morning Show with Larry Minty.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Welcome back. Actor Jeremy Piven, who is best known as
Ari Gold and Entourage, is a very funny man who
steals a scene in every movie he's been in, and
now you can see him live. His stand up act
is coming to New York City. It's a different kind
of audience in New.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
York, the best audience actually, because the reality is I
mean I was born here, went to Noyu and grew
up in Chicago. But any excuse that I can get
to come here. The audience here are confident, vocal, sharp,
and they will give it to you straight. And there's
an old saying you got to go where you're loved,
(08:00):
and I really do feel loved here. I have to
say it. So that's you know why I wanted to
go to Sony Hall. It's intimated about five hundred people,
and you know, you got to get your tickets fast.
That's why I wanted to come here and let people
know I'm going to be here and we need to
laugh now more than ever. And people don't realize that
I'm a stand up. And you know, when they see
(08:21):
me playing our Gold or any of these characters, they
assume that I'm improvising when the reality is. With Entourage specifically,
it was all written every word, but I was always
trying to like pitch jokes and ideas, and this is
a way for me to just have total freedom and
there's nothing better.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
How many shows have you done so far? Are you
on the tour now?
Speaker 4 (08:42):
I'm on the tour now. You know I do a
couple hundred shows a year. I I do like to
five to eight shows a week, but that's nothing. Look at,
New York has the best comics in the world. That's
just the way it is. You know, I'm jumping up
on stage at the Stand and various places around town
all week, and you know you can get four five
spots in a night here in New York because you know,
(09:07):
New Yorkers love their comedy and you've got the comedy
Seller and all the iconic spots in the world.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
So I love it. Well if you want to get tickets,
and I'm definitely gonna go. I love this guy, Jeremy
DASHPIVN dot com. That's Jeremy DASHPIVN gut come. Yeah, that's
how you can get some tickets for the show.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
And you and you caught me stretching and I apologize,
but I'm getting older and this is how you know
you're getting older. I used to look at a woman
in a short skirt and I'd be like, Wow, she's hot,
And now I'm like, I wonder if she's cold. Good
night everyone, Thank you for coming.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Yes, enjoy the veal.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
Yes she is cold.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
Can we tell you?
Speaker 4 (09:42):
I had sorry, I had to slip in a joke
because people are like this guy funny, I no fun.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
To spend my money.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Hey, Ari, you're a douchebag. I'm a douchebag because of you.
Speaker 6 (09:52):
Ari.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
Are you funny? Yes, I'm funny, sir.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
No.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
I literally was just in Boston, another great town where
you know that in Philly, uh, you know, very outspoken cities.
You know you're gonna you're gonna get it straight. And
there was a dude I was at the Wilberth Theater
there and I was taking a selfie out front because
I was on the Marquee and this dude goes, yo, man, me,
my girl love rush Hour that scene and I go, oh,
(10:19):
thanks man. He was sitting down. I go thanks man.
He goes, yo, man, do that scene for me. I
swear to god. I was like, I'm sorry. He goes
due to the scene right now, and he lifts his
phone up to record me. I go, you want me
to do a seven minute scene for you?
Speaker 6 (10:31):
Sir?
Speaker 4 (10:31):
You're a stranger.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
He stood up.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
He was six foot seven.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
I looked at him.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
I said, so you've got the mokeijina skin and the
big broad shoulders. Let's put a dead animal on you.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
Butter cream.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Butter cream cracked again?
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Butter cream? What's blow the way?
Speaker 6 (10:44):
It's mystery means.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
I was like, can I do it again? And he's like, no, no,
you only get one take. Bitch.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Now, I heard you do interviews about this, about that
very scene.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
You had lived that well that I have lived every
every single word. And that's you know when people are like, look,
I've been touring as a stand up for ten years,
and yet I've been on stage since I was eight
years old and I've been writing on my feet and
essentially doing stand up like basically like Rush Hour was
stand up comedy because I'm improvising in real time.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
Now.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker each made twenty million. I
made two hundred and seventy dollars for that cameo. And
I'm very bitter and that's why I'm here because i
need money.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Now, I understand it. Early on, when you had these parts,
you would add lib if they didn't cut the camera
off because you wanted to stand out, and you did
every movie you were in early on, you stood out.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
It's not about standing out, it's about making the most
of the moment. It's like every role is the leading
role in my mind. So even though my character in
Rush Hour had one line, may I help you? And
the character was saleswoman. Literally that's the name of the character, saleswoman.
It's the wrong gender, and I had a half a line.
(12:03):
So but it's but like you're in the game. You're
in the game. You're you know you're gonna get a rep.
So why not just have as much fun as you can.
You know, the play the character like it's the lead,
and just start swinging for the Fences, and then I
was kind of used as this guy where, you know,
if Cameron Crowe and singles or say anything or any
(12:23):
of these you know movies that you mentioned with John Cusack,
if they needed some comedy, they would just call me
and just throw me in there and just have me improvise.
And so I was that guy for forty movies and
then I got Entourage, and then at forty years old,
I was voted the fresh Face of the Year, and
I was like, there's nothing fresh about my face, but
(12:44):
thank you.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Hey, so you were born here, you moved to Chicago.
Are you a Yankees fan a Cubs fan?
Speaker 4 (12:51):
Well, look at look at God Bless the Yankees and
and God bless the Chicago Cubs. I don't want to
jump on the bandwagon for the Yankees, yet I love
them and I'm happy they're winning. I'm a Chicago guy
from the North side of Chicago, so you know, I
would love to It wouldn't be great if we both
made it to the next round.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Yeah, it's not gonna happen this year.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
But well, let's let's have a laugh at on the
nineteenth together and we'll we'll raise an adult beverage and
celebrate either way.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
I would love. Jeremy Piven is going to be performing
at Sony Hall on October nineteenth. You can get your
tickets at Jeremy dashpivn dot com. It was really an
honor to meet you.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Thanks, thank you as well, thank you for the time.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Wo R host and former Westchester County executive Rob Astorino says,
somebody has to drop out of the mayor's race or
zorin Mom, Donnie is the next mayor? Rob is coming up?
If you like the traffic app ways, it just got
a whole lot better. Rich Demiro, host of rich On Tech,
tells us about it coming up on Saturday morning.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Here again is Larry Minty with the wo R Saturday
Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Welcome Back. Wo R host Rob Astorino, the former Westchester
County executive, watched the New Jersey gubernatorial debate and thinks
Republican candidate Jack Chittarelli has every right to sue Democratic
candidate Mikey Cheryl for claiming that Chittarelli killed people in
New Jersey. Hey, you're a recovering politician, so I wanted
(14:23):
to ask you about this. I have never heard this before.
I didn't even know this could happen that Jack Chittarelli
is talking about suing Mikey Cheryl for over and over
saying he killed ten thousand. No excuse me, I keep
saying ten thousand. He killed tens of thousands of people.
Speaker 5 (14:41):
Yeah, I hope he. I hope he does sue her,
and I hope I mean, unfortunately things like this won't
happen before the election. But what a what a libelous
statement that she made. I mean, honestly, look, there's a lot.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Of leeway and latitude in politics.
Speaker 5 (14:57):
And debate it gets heated, but she repeated that over
and over and over as fact, like connect the dot
A to B. You directly were involved in the killing
of people, but basically you're like one of those boat
runners bringing in fentanyl that Trump is trying to shoot down.
How dare you? I mean, it's really despicable what she said.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Honestly, Yeah, and I'm so glad he's talking about finding
this lawsuit. He's announced he's going to do it. I
know Jack pretty well. I know he's going to go
through with this. I'm sure he was furious and he
think he has a great case. I just never thought,
for some reason, I thought man, you can say anything
of a debate, because I've been to so many debates
and I thought you can say anything because usually, you know,
(15:39):
they don't sue afterwards. But I guess this one was
beyond the pale.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
It totally. I mean, look, yeah, you generally can say
and people do twist and stretch, and a lot of
that is policy. This was like a substitute, you killed
people with drugs for you took out a gun and
shot people. What's the difference. I mean, she's literally, I'm
not like hyperpole. She's literally claiming that this guy is
(16:05):
the death of that created the death of tens of
thousands of people. I mean, eh, that's that's not good.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
No, it's not good at all. I guess it's no
surprise in that Quinnipiac Poe Like, I was a little
bit surprised because I didn't think that all of Adam's
voters were going to go to Mario Cuomo, but they did.
I mean, they just went right to him. And now
he's still what is he down thirteen points now? So
at least it's not in our twenties.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
And yeah, but you know what to a couple of things,
Sliwa didn't move, and neither did Mamdami. And the problem
that Cuomo and Sliva faces they have got to pull
Mamdami down because he can win with forty five. And
so I don't understand I don't understand Andrew Cuomo's advertising.
(16:57):
It's basically elect me. I'm the guy with I can
take over day one. The experience that we all remember
of Andrew Cuomo is not good. That's why you have
a negative thirteen, you know, favorable to unfavorable. People don't
like Andrew Cuomo and they didn't like the time he
was governor, at least in New York City. And this
(17:17):
is where this is where his problem lies. He's still
having done you know, at least moved a little bit
in the Q pole. He is still way down. The
good news for him though, and Sliva is first of all,
this poll. I was looking at how they did it.
You know, twenty three percent of the registered voters in
New York City are Republicans. They only weighed thirteen percent
(17:40):
Republicans in this poll. That that's the pool that Cuomo
has to pull from. He has to take away from Sliwa.
He has to get other Republicans to come out and
vote as well as independents. Otherwise, he has no shot
because it really does look like Democrats don't like him
either in this poll, and they're sticking with their party
and if they do that, that's where the numbers are,
(18:01):
and man Dommy's gonna win despite being its despicable human being.
If he saw what he just said about Israel yesterday.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
Oh absolutely no, no, I was. It was awful, just
really quick. Since you're laid out that scenario, are you
calling on Curtis Lee would dropped out of the race.
Speaker 5 (18:18):
No, But I do think there's going to be even
more and more pressure in the next week or so
for Curz to do so. I just don't. I don't
think he is going to, nor do I think he
has to. He's the Republican candidate, so he doesn't have
to go anywhere. But he can make the argument Cuomo
should go. He lost the primary.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
I don't think those voters are going to go to
him though. That's the problem. Rob Astino, former Westchester County
executive and host of The Rob Astorino Show on WOR
Saturday's four to five pm and host of Saturday Agenda
one to three pm on Newsmax. Rich Demiro from rich
on Tech is up next with news how you might
(18:55):
be getting some money back from Amazon. Rich is next.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
Here's Larry with more of the WOOR Saturday Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Welcome back to traffic app. Ways just got a whole
lot more user friendly. Here's Rich DeMuro from rich on Tech.
Good morning to your.
Speaker 6 (19:14):
Rich Good morning to you, Larry.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
I love your story about Ways. Ways is my favorite
thing in the world. We have a joke in our
family you never question Ways. Whatever Ways says to do
you do it?
Speaker 6 (19:30):
Gosh?
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Do you agree?
Speaker 6 (19:32):
Do you agree with those left hand turns?
Speaker 5 (19:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:37):
I just find it every single time I go, well,
that's stupid, like why would I get off here? And
then I find myself stuck in traffic for another hour.
And so we've now decided Ways is God. Ways is
the traffic God. And so I'm really interested about what
the change is with Ways.
Speaker 6 (19:56):
Well, I like you love Ways. I don't always to
it because I know it does make some interesting choices,
and I'm like, Okay, I feel like I'm better than that.
But you're right. It's always right at the end of
the day, and it does a lot of things. And
people have loved Ways for many years now. It's getting
and one of the things people love about it is
the ability to report things like hazards on the road,
(20:19):
police ahead, traffic, whatever you want, you can report it,
and typically that takes a couple of taps on the
app to report what you're trying to see or what
you've seen on the road. Now they're letting you do
it with conversational reporting, so now you can talk to
ways to report road hazards. AI will comprehend what you're
trying to say and it will put it into the
(20:40):
app for other users. So, for instance, if you see
an object in the road, you used to have to
tap a couple times to report that. Now you would
just tap once and say object in road or mattress
on the road or whatever, and it would use AI
to understand that and put that into the system to
alert other drivers behind you. So again it's just figuring
out the right report type without any specific commands or
(21:04):
extra taps on the phone, which I think is a
pretty good safety win for when you're driving.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Yeah, that's why I don't report a lot exactly what
you're talking about. It takes a few buttons. You got
to get to a certain area and then sometimes they
don't even have the thing that you want to report.
So this is this is brilliant. See you didn't think
they could make Ways any better, and they went and
did it.
Speaker 6 (21:24):
Let's talk about I just tell you my favorite, sure,
my favorite feature on Ways that I use every single
day of my life, and it is the time to
leave feature. So whenever I have to go somewhere, I
just search for that place in Ways, and instead of
saying go right now, it says leave later, and I
tap that And I love seeing that little scrollable time
(21:46):
window where you say, okay, if I leave at two pm,
or if I want to be there at two pm,
I got to leave it one twenty five. I absolutely
love that feature. I use it every single day of
my life.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Hey, Nia, Natalie is shaking her head. Yes, and I
have never heard of it before. No, it's fantastic, right.
Speaker 6 (22:02):
Really, it's a life changer because you can save yourself,
say fifteen minutes at home, because you just look, okay,
you know what, No, I don't have to leave until
this time.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Then you can set your whole day, and you know.
Speaker 6 (22:12):
How organized I like to be, so it really don't out.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Oh that's great. I didn't even know about that.
Speaker 6 (22:17):
And you can get an alert. Yeah, you can get
an alert too for that time. I mean, it's really
like my absolute favorite feature. I think it's a It's
like my secret superpower because people will arrive late or early.
I'm always just on time.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
You know.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
When I look at what is the top app on
the app Store, I now am scared of the future.
Explain what it is.
Speaker 6 (22:39):
It's called Sora and this is from CHATCHYBT. Well open
AI the makers of chatchybt. And if you know what
a deep fake is, it's basically a TikTok of deep fakes.
A deep fake is basically when they use AI to
create someone's likeness. Most of the time that has a
negative connotation. It's used for you know, nefarious reasons, fake news, misinformation,
all that kind of stuff. But SOA actually lets people
(23:02):
make fake videos of themselves on purpose for fun. So
you download the app, which I've done, You take a
little video of yourself saying something. Now it has your likeness,
and then you just type something in Hey, I want
to be surfing on the largest wave in Hawaii. I
want to be hiking Mount Everest, I want to be
on a roller coaster. With flames, going through flames, and
(23:25):
it will create that video using aiither about ten seconds,
and it will post it for your friends to see.
And you can swipe through this app just like you
would TikTok. Looking through all these videos that people have created.
It is absolutely wild. But you're right, it is a
scary new future that it's a scary new line. We've
crossed actually in creating our own deep fakes of ourselves
(23:47):
for entertainment.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
I will tell you I do enjoy on social media
when they have press conferences with like Donald Trump or
maybe the manager of the Yankees, and they put, in
other words, ridiculous things. I'm not sure how they do it,
but thank god, it's always so ridiculous. You know it's fake.
Speaker 6 (24:07):
But this scroll through this for five minutes and you
will not believe this stuff you see. I mean, it's like,
it's just unbelievable, and it's I never thought I would
actually enjoy scrolling through. But some of the stuff people
are coming up with is actually quite creative. But it
just brings up a whole new can of worms about
you know, copyright and of course cameos and deep fakes
(24:27):
and all this stuff that we're sort of wondering about
in the future.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
I'll do it today. Hopefully I won't waste too much
time on it. Let's do it. How about this. We've
teased this too, and it's a it's a great thing.
I can already see the benefits of this. Google's virtual
shoe try on. What is that?
Speaker 6 (24:44):
Yeah? This is Google has had this feature called AI
try On for a couple of months now. It's basically
part of Google Shopping. If you want to see how
something looks on you, you can snap a picture of
yourself and you can flip through different you know, photos
of you where different clothes. And I actually went behind
the scenes with Google to see how they do this.
They had a studio where they had a bunch of
(25:06):
models in there, different shapes and sizes, taking a whole
bunch of pictures of them, and then that's what they
use as the basis for the AI to put you
in that picture, so you can say what size you are,
your height, your weight, all that good stuff, and it
helps shape the picture. But now they've expanded this to shoes,
so you don't even need to take a picture of
(25:26):
your feet. AI will just figure out what size your
feet are. But It shows you the picture of the
shoes on your feet now, so that you can see
how shoes and sneakers would look like on your feet.
Not necessarily if they will fit perfectly. I think you'd
still have to go into a store for that, but
at least it shows you what you're going to look
like wearing these sneakers.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
This next story is a pretty important one, and I
guess a lot of people will make some money on this.
The Federal Trade Commission has reached the settlement with Amazon.
People are going to get money back. How do you
know if you qualify?
Speaker 6 (25:57):
Okay, so you're not going to get rich off. The
money you're going to get back are going to be
up to fifty one dollars per person, but hey, every
little bit counts. The refunds will be automatic, and here's
the ways that you would get them. You got to
live in the US, obviously. If you're listening to this,
that's probably the case. You either had prime or you
tried to cancel prime between twenty nineteen and twenty twenty
(26:18):
five June twenty third, and then you used fewer than
three prime benefits in any twelve month period, which means
you didn't really shop a lot. Basically, you signed up
and you kind of like couldn't figure out how to
get rid of it, and so you didn't use any
of the benefits. So you will get this automatically by
December twenty fifth of this year. Here is my warning
to you, because these scammers get hipped to this stuff.
(26:42):
You might get an email that says, hey, sign up
for your Prime refunds. Don't do it. The refunds are
going to be automatic. The FTC is not going to
call you, they're not going to text, You're not going
to email you. So just know if you had Prime,
you might be seeing a refund come December.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
