This week Farah and I discuss the summer trend. Cops murdering Black people. We often hear about the rise in violence in communities when it gets warmer. Yet, we don't discuss how that violence is often instigated and performed by those in uniform. We discuss this dynamic and our thoughts on how we defend the murdered in public discourse.

We're back with a very important conversation for all my woke, criminal justice reformers and prison abolitionists. For those who come to the determination that the current status of our criminal justice system needs changing, it's difficult when you yourself have to interact with it on a personal level. What do you do when you're facing a harm that typical would call for the justice system to intervene? Do you feel guilty for call...
The title is very straightforward but the conversation is very complicated. Black people rarely benefit from white American capitalism yet, sometimes we perpetuate the same system that's designed to oppress Black people. This conversation was very thought provoking for me and I want to know your answers. Should Black people promote capitalism?

We're Back!! After some time off to do more election work, Farah and I are back. Recently I listened to an interview that described Americans who spend hours watching cable news and arguing on social media as political hobbyist. Well of course Farah and I had to discuss the interview and what she thinks of this diagnosis of American political engagement. Email me your thoughts on this topic

Black conservatism is a bigger thing than most people realize or talk about. I share my beliefs on how the republican party will try to rebrand itself after Trump and how it could lead to a huge fracture in the Black community. Ultimately, Farah hears me rant on a few things and also tries to convince me to watch Hamilton!
With the nomination of Amy Coney Barett to the Supreme Court, Farah felt it was important to talk about the importance of understanding the role our courts play in this system. We also dedicate way too much time talking about the Ice Cube debacle. Forget to call in with you opinions
This week Farah and I talk about BET founder and how disappointing the network is, the fly heard around the world and I reflect on a men's panel I appeared on discussing how Black men show up to the work that Black women are already doing in ways that go beyond voting.
