Speaker 1 (00:09):
Cook out Jones is in the day the Coco go
o l. People should do that.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
For you everywhere you go, girl, I'd be so embarrassed.
I literally pass out.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Well, Coco, it's so funny because your label has sent
me over this thing, right.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Like as if we don't know each other.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
So as if I don't know you. But sometimes that's nice,
you know why, because even though I know you, I'll
be like, oh my god, so happy to see you
look beautiful on the magazine. You know, I can do all.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
That, period.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
But when I'm looking at this list, Coco, it is
really quite impressive. Lord, even for somebody who knows you.
It's like wow, when you really look about the past
two years of your life and all the things you've collected,
you know what I mean? The awards, the nominations twenty
twenty three b E T twenty twenty three Sole Train
Award winner and double a CP Image Award winner. I mean,
(01:01):
do you feel, like, I don't know, do you feel
all those has that changed you? Do you have a
shrine in your home? Like?
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Hell no, I sent all any awards to my mama house.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
And where does she keep them?
Speaker 2 (01:14):
She keeps them somewhere in like a hidden, hidden closet.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Even if she doesn't, she doesn't.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
I feel like she's scared. I feel like she's scared
of them to be out. I don't know, like she
just don't want them to be out and probably get
taken or something. I don't know. I think she's very
like they're safe. Someone say literally like I say, like
a safe like closet that locks, and I'm like.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Period, you wouldn't keep anything in your home.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
I don't know. I don't think so right now, I
don't think. I mean now, look, I was inspired because
the other day I was working with Alicia Keys and
she was like, oh, yeah, we're gonna go this way.
And as we were passing, I saw like all the
awards and I was like, Okay, not at eighty.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Maybe one day if.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
It's giving one to six, seven, eight, twelve something, I
might have to do a little.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Got a lot of those, yo, where you in her
house or in the studio studio. In the studio, yeah,
that's a nice place to have done.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
I think that's cool. In the studio, that's that's very
much like down the line though I'm over here. I
have my own studio and I have a lot of awards,
but somewhere maybe maybe you gotta.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
You cut it. You gotta significant from this list. It
looks like you got a significant amount of them already.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Well thank you.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
You haven't even dropped your debut album yet.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
That is crazy, crazy, it's crazy. I don't know. I
feel like you could relate to this. I think because
we both capricorns. You know. It's like all the things
that I the awards are like crazy, but like it's
the inner competitive with myself where I'm like, I still
got a way to go. Maybe one day, Like you
know what I'm saying, I feel like there's always something
else I'm trying to hit and trying to achieve.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Awards and things like that. Never they never. I mean,
it's not like it's nice. It's not like how other
people respond to it.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
That's real, you know what you people other people get excited.
My biggest, like, my biggest thing when I was nominated
for my first Grammy was if I don't win, I
don't want all these people to give me this sympathy energy.
I don't want that. I'm more concerned about how people
are going to respond to me if I don't win.
So I think it's very interesting. The way I look
(03:08):
at it, It's like, okay, so that means it's real.
You're doing something tangibly real and good, you know, which
helps me because in my head, I'm like, girl, keep going, girl,
what you know what I'm saying, I'm so competitive?
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Are you your worst critic? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Yeah, yeah, But I could also hype myself up, like
I'd be like, you ate that. You know what I'm saying.
You worked, you were I forgot Yes, I think I
asked that last time. Yes, but you worked your ass off,
Like I can give myself my tools when I did that,
you know what I'm saying. But I think as far
as like like I said, I mean, I still have
so much of ways to go that in the scheme
of my mental plan of how this all looks, I'm like, girl,
(03:45):
you just gonna start Scott here seriously, you know, calm down,
for real, down with all these awards, for real.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
I just got here. But for you, that means you
came in with a splash and you made an impact
and now you're gonna an album, which is so crazy.
But I was like, this is not right. It says
it's her debut album. It's not. And then I'm like,
holy shit, that was a EP. This is actually your
debut album, so you're out here new artists mode.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Man, I'm like, ooh the way that this music stepp
works because if it was me, I would just go
right on them algorithms and rechange that name to that
was the album thank You and this my second album,
because it feels like that was like an era of
me where I was like testing the water so much
and like, are people gonna get it? Are they gonna
understand me? And like that's what it felt like at
(04:32):
the time. That felt like how our debut album would feel.
But this is different because I guess it's more like
do I understand me? All right? Then that's good enough,
and let's just see where everything else lies, you know,
let's see what happens next.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
The timing of everything too kind of worked that nice,
and then now it makes this important and special, Like
you drop that and you had the show going on
at the same time, and I just felt like you
were working a lot, yeah, doing shows and words ceremonies.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
I wasn't moving around.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
So now it feels like you have another fresh kind
of sorry with this project, which what is this? How
does this project? I don't have an advance, so I
don't know what I know. I should get an advancer.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Ain't no way.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Now you should send me in advance.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
You got this whole press list right here. You get
to listen to the stop.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
I didn't get to listen to me yet, So tell
me everything I need to know, Okay, so then I'll
spend my own time with it.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
This is weird. I love that for you. So for me,
I feel like my EP was like a first date, like, hey,
you keep it really cute, like, oh my gosh, yes,
I'm like, so I never have a temper. I'm never mad.
I'm like I'm really chill and like very paird. But
then you know, as you start to date somebody more,
you're like you turn up a little bit and you're
(05:40):
like they're like what was that? And you're like, oh,
and another thing, and right right, you just get a
little bit more and more comfortable showing all the sides
because you're not afraid of somebody like ghosting you or something.
You know. So, I think that my debut album is
kind of like when you get into that mindset, like
I'm not afraid that things will go completely left and
I'll mess something up. I feel like I'm gonna learn.
(06:00):
I'm gonna learn and grow, so I took more risk creatively.
I think, like sonically like what like Taste, definitely like Taste,
and other songs on my album like there. I have
a song with yg Marley called why Not More the
title track, and it's like it's like Island vibes, but
I'm singing R and B on it.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Oh the video is gonna be so fire girl.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
I mean, I wanted to feel free to do stuff
like that because I want I'm more comfortable now. And no,
I do not have it all the way together in
my plan and my like understanding of myself. But I
feel like in a relationship you grow. In this relationship
with me and my fans and with me and music,
we grow. And I'm just trying to like express all
the things that I feel like are important to show
(06:43):
right now and grow from there.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
I'm so excited for you, Coco. Speaking of relationships, people
are very interested in yours. I how are you managing
those waters? M You can say as much or as
little as you like. I will not pressure yeah, because
I am your Capricorn sister, yes, but how but how
are you navigating those waters?
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Like what is the I mean, it's all so new
and scary in.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
So scary.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
Well okay, so think about it like this my whole life,
I'm in this media training into tea, Like I'm working
for a media training company. They show you how to
pivot things. They show you how to like not answer
questions that are personal, you know, like you know how
to dodge things.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
So you child actors especially, they get trade very young
real to how to navigate your personal and all that
time stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
To how to draw that line and keep it focused
on even if they start not talking about the job
you're there to talk about you know, how to bring
it back to center. So that's something that I've been
doing since it was twelve. Then you get into real
life music where you're a real life adult and people
real life want to know about you and what you
got going on. And now they're social media and it's
(07:56):
not frowned upon to tell your tea'll.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Be going there sometimes too much of it there.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
No, t I don't even have an example, so please
don't correlate me with nobody nobody. But so now it's
like who am I in the middle of all these things,
in the middle of what I've been taught, in the
middle of what's going on in the world, what do
I want to say. So it's scary in that sense
of like I don't want to overshare. I don't want
to undershare either, because I am authentic and I really
do want to get my fans like my truest version
(08:27):
of me. But then what is for me? What do
I keep for myself? So scary in that sense, but
not scary in the sense of, like my relationship, I'm happy,
I'm very very happy. I am. I am, and I
talk about a lot in my music and I talk
about as much as I feel like it's my truth
to talk about in my interviews. But I'm not about
giving you all play to play. This ain't ovloged.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
You don't want to show us. You share your text
messages right now or photos or anything.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Jump scare, jump scare. That's not my truth. Maybe one day,
but probably not. But you're not hiding. Oh no, not out.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
You're doing carp and things like that. No, not giving that,
not carpet nor right, but out.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
I mean, we live our lives, got it. I have
to live my life. You have to. I can't be
afraid of somebody catching a picture of us, and like,
that's just no way to live.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Have you dated publicly before the people we knew? I think,
well quietly maybe we didn't know all.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
The way quietly kept being quiet. First track on the
epe keep It Quiet part I mean on the album
is that the first show is the first track on
the game. So that did myself. You know how we
you know how we did? We are so alive? Yeah,
I mean Also it was great because nobody was checking
for my dating life the way that they are now,
you know, when you start doing really.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah, I feel like since you've been out, you've been
like the hot girl and beautiful and people like who who,
what's up with her? Who's in her? D? N who
she gonna know?
Speaker 2 (09:46):
That's I mean, that part's real. But I think like
I saw a huge transition from like, Okay, nobody's checking
for you in general, to like, Okay, now you're on
the show, and now you have an album, and now
you have the song, and now people want to know
about you. They want to know your tea, you know.
So it went from like not at nothing at all?
Everything you want to share and more, and we doing
research on you too. I'm like, tell us everything, No,
for real, I'm like what that minute?
Speaker 1 (10:07):
We want date, we want time stamps.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
It's no, for real, for real. But I don't know.
For me, I'm like trying to keep it comfortable and
authentic with myself. I'm not what's important?
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Yeah? And having fun?
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Fun, And then it's in the music. Yeah yeah, its
way into the music.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Yeah for sure. Not sure. Any fans who are doing
doing the lyric restarts, they're gonna put two and throw
together some things. And I love that for you. Enjoy, enjoy, have.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
A good time. Let's get into Coco's real life. She
did her real life questionnaire today. For the last thing
she ate was a breakfast burrito. It is now four
thirty in the afternoons.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Real, I do intermnute fasting, though, Oh you do? What
does that mean? So? I means you don't eat, you
have a shorter eating window.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
I know. But why did so you have breakfast?
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Why we want just I just had it a couple
of hours ago.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
So you don't eat from nighttime?
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Yeah? I try to eat around from like one till
like eight nine at night and then that's it. And
that's it name, It's for real. I blame my mom
flash she always had mid night snack.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Are you working towards something or do you have like
a body goal or something like what a health goal?
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Or I feel like not necessarily a goal, just I
want to maintain because.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
You look beautiful. I'm looking at the cover shoots and
the shot. Come on, Glamour girl, that's a big deal.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Is a big deal. I'm like, whoa.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Somebody said in your comments, Aaron said in your comments
that you was looking like your mama.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Hilarious.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
These are gorgeous. Is this from the shot too?
Speaker 2 (11:41):
No?
Speaker 1 (11:41):
This is from the album?
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Yeah, that's the album artwork.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Gorgeous. This is intermittent fasting.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Here you are so I mean, I mean, I can't
just eat Lais chips as much as I want to,
and ram and those are my two favorite things, but
it's just not gonna give me the result I want.
Then I'm gonna be in my fittings that we're all
gonna looking at each other. Leg ain't none to say,
ain't none to say?
Speaker 1 (12:02):
What else we got on the rack? Go to karaoke
song Rihanna Diamonds. You probably body that I think That's why.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Because also if I'm at a karaoke plaze, I've been drinking.
I've been drinking, so I'm like, let me do something.
I know I can do this.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
You burn that down though, It's like the lyrics are.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
So ingrained, like you know, it's one of them songs
where you like you just learned the whole thing. So
even if I'm like what time is it, I know
how that go.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
I would love to be at karaoke you so much.
You're probably so much fun at karaoke I am.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
But then I even like people don't want to like
sing around me. I'm like, come on now.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
People can't mostly can't sing.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
Like we're here to have a good time. I'm like, here,
I'll take a shot where you take a shot and
you sing what.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Is your superpower? I love this answer singing long notes
for a long.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
Time, Curly.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
I think once I saw how people were responding to
that put you on thing, I was like, ah, maybe
that is interesting and impressive, but.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Yeah, is that the longest? Like what is the look?
Do you have a record? Do you have a Guinness Book?
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Moment? Well, there's this trend on TikTok actually right now
where you like start holding a note and then this
little bird will fly and you're trying to like keep
the bird of flying. I feel like I did a
pretty long one. I don't know. Yeah, it was like
twenty something second twenty something. That's pretty great controlling.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
That, Like if I wanted to do that.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
I feel like it's years of stamina and singing and belting.
So I ain't got no check for you. You might
have to start singing for the next fifteen years.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
No, it's not gonna happen for me. I'm gonna let
you rock that.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
What's yours? I want to know yours? Though You're making
everybody need this questionnaire? What's your word?
Speaker 1 (13:37):
What is my superpower? Seeing people?
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Ooh, like really reading them, like seeing through them. Yeah,
I can see that, like.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Uh just see it.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Not in a bad way, just like like okay, I
seeing the truth and.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
People about people sometimes sometimes you know, people posture or
people some people will write somebody off and I'll see
something in them that's like a little different. I think
that's probably one of them, or at least I try
to do.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
You feel like being around so many people, though, has
like made you like hypersensitive, hyper paranoid or you feel
like it's.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
A paranoid at all.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
No, you think I'm paranoid. No, I guess I'm not
even paranoid, but like hyper sensitive about people around you,
about people you know, because you see so many of them.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Yeah, but no, I don't know. I don't think so.
I think no, but it makes me sensitive to like
when somebody is not being authentic because I could see it.
Sometimes I want to be like, it's okay, like you
don't have to do that or you know, whatever it is.
Because usually people performing or if either they're bothered or
they're insecure, or they're posturing for something. So I want
(14:40):
to be like, sometimes I want to take somebody's here
and be like, you know, it's okay, we can see
you and you don't have to do that, you know.
So I think maybe that's part.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Of that's really a dope, that's really is that a.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Good super bowel?
Speaker 2 (14:51):
I think that is. My best friend is like that.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
It's so funny. Get this questionnaire, and I never thought
about that myself.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Your questionnaire, bro, I wanted to know your I feel
like we have a lot of like similarities and I
really love being here. So I was like, let me see,
let me pick your brain.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Wrong, you probably have that too. You probably have that
right thing.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
I don't know. I think it's I think it's getting stronger.
But I really have to give some credit to my
best friend because she's really good at that. Somebody will
come in and be like, oh hey, and she'll be like,
they're don't trust that, and I'm like, girl, you tripping.
Then a couple weeks later, I'm like, so they did
do me darting. You was right, you were so rightly.
But I feel like I'm getting better at it because
I learned.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Yeah, people very rarely in my life have surprised me.
M wow, super rare, Like it's a rare bird Like,
it's a rare occasion that somebody has surprised me.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
That is so interesting.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
I usually can see, I'm like, that's you know, and
then carry them a certain way. Yeah, it's definitely a gift,
that super But it's definitely a gift. Celebrity crush is
Dwight from the Office.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
It's correct.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
What is it about Dwight?
Speaker 2 (15:54):
He has a he has a lot of very high
value qualities to me, First of all, what are your
high value qual He owns Land, So let's get into
real wealth. Thanks. Second of all, he's into agriculture. What's
gonna happen when when the eggs is all out and
all the things is out, can you grow something? Dwight? Can?
(16:14):
I feel like he could build? And I bet he
could know how to make a car if there's no
more gas. I don't know if everything went left, he
would survive, He.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Says, your guy, Dwight is your guy. There's Dwight. Look
there's your boo right there.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Icon. You see how locked in he is. I'm playing
around here. I feel like we could accomplish a lot.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
I love this answer. One thing on your bucket list?
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Oh no, see, I didn't know you were gonna read
this land by.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
The one thing on her bucket list is to get married.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
One of them. Because I was gonna say, jump out
the plane, but I did that already, so I just
was with another one.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Why did you do that? And how did that go?
And how did you feel?
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Well? I lived for it and I would do it again,
just waiting on a free day in a calendar. Really,
I actually did that with Terrell, one of my homeboys,
like we you know, we do the T and Coco show.
So we had cooked for the first season of it,
and then Terrell is like the mastermind behind all of it,
so he was like, what could we do next? The dudes,
I'm crazy. He was like, you want to jump out
a plane? I was like, man, hell yea, I want
to out a plane to do it. So well, he
did do that, and I loved it. He was scared, though,
(17:14):
and you were not scared. No. At first, my stomach
was like ooh, my stomach was in my head. But
then you're like, Okay, my stomach can't be in my
brain this whole time we're dropping, so let's find any way.
And then after a while I was like, soaring eagle,
you got into the moment I was. I was like,
could I do a flip? But there was a person
on me. Again I would, but I'm super daredevil. I'm
(17:35):
super dared devil.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
So now that you've done that, on your new book,
bucket list item is to get married. Yeah, is this
something in the near future? Have you set a date?
Speaker 2 (17:45):
L L It's on my bucket list because you know,
I don't know when that's gonna happen, but if I
think it's something that I do want to happen. I've
always just wanted to be.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Your pet peeves last minute changes.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Yeah, which that does not mesh well with you.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
How are you in this business?
Speaker 2 (17:58):
I don't understand learning to let things go?
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Yeah, even being on set, even for the show, like,
how do you doesn't that call times change every five minutes?
Speaker 2 (18:06):
I'm learning, I'm learning.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
The last thing that sent you down a rabbit hole
was hair videos. Yes, what have you learned? What can
you share?
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Okay? So what's so lol to me is like people
don't know that. I literally had to figure out how
to do my own lamb because first of all, there
was no budget for that when I was an independent artist. Yes,
so I would be so into watching tutorials that it
just became something I like to do. It's like reading
the news. I'm like, we're doing another style of to day.
That was okay. I like that. Man. Now I have
(18:34):
people who do my hair makeup, but I still like
to watch it because I used to watch them all
the time to study it to get better.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
And you could do your own like, oh.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Yeah, girl, I knew how to make an egg, like literally,
I was learning it all you who can make a week? Yeah,
a good one. Yeah, wow, you should take me hours,
but I would do it, but you'll do it. I would.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
That's so funny. All right, So what do we gotta
Let's get to some promotions because then we have a
little game we're gonna play with you, a little social media,
a little digitch game that we're gonna do the both
of us. Right, new album Friday this Friday? Why not
more with the sexy or artwork on the cover. What
I know you said you're exploring some different avenues musically
(19:13):
and being creative. What else? Is there anything else people
need to know about the project.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
I don't know. I think people are gonna take whatever
they really relate to, and that's really what I'm more
curious to. I'm going on tour May seventh and love that.
I'm really really excited, Lady London, Yeah, so cute. I'm
really excited to just see people in real time feedback
because music music now, there's no formula, you know, like
(19:39):
there is no like this the right way. It's like
you just got to do it the realest way to
you and see where it lands. So I don't really think.
I'm just curious for everybody to be honest and tell
me what they liked and really don't. And I guess
if anything, you know, keep in mind that I still
have a long ways to go as an artist. Like
I know, people are familiar with we were raised together,
(20:01):
you know, but this is my first album, so keep
that in mind.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
Yeah, it's a process.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah, it is r me telling myself the same thing.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
Yeah, what about the act that like, what about work
and that the show.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
And yeah, all that stuff. Bel Air's on his fourth
and final season, yea, and we are gonna be sad.
So it's really kind of like, I don't know yet.
I gotta feel how I feel on the last day,
on the last scene, and then I'll I'll know how
to feel about it. I don't know. I guess I'm
really like I think about things that are right in
front of me, So I don't know how that'll feel
(20:35):
yet until I get in there and I'm in that world.
But yeah, I'm excited to see what we do. Though,
I'm excited to you know, ended knowing that it's ending
so in a in an intentional way. And I've talked
a little bit with with the writers about Hillary's storyline
and I'm going to be filming it while on tour.
So that's gonna be interesting too. But I'm excited for it.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
So you have to pop back, you have to fly
back in for shoot dates dot com. My god, where
do you think that show? Like the legacy of that show?
What do you how do you think? I mean, what
are you most proud of of it?
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Or? I think the representation like a story that looks
like black excellence, you know, a story that isn't rooted
in a negative depiction of Black people. It's really positive.
It's you know, people who love each other, who want
to grow as humans, as individuals in marriage and in
(21:27):
family and in their own storylines. I think it's a
really really refreshing take on a black family.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Yeah, it's not stereotypical at all.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
It's really dope and very honest. We talk about a
lot of the stuff that's going on, like going on,
and so I'm really grateful to the Fresh Prince of
Belair for giving us a layup, honestly of something so
real and authentic and that representation that makes you feel
warm to watch and to look at. We have such
a great foundation to do something something great.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
Wind up with jazz.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
Actually, do not know. I feel like You've got to
hear people's reactions. They are so mad at how I
did Jazz. They want me to be with Jazz forever.
That literally, like, I mean literally at the story going
to be like, you know you're wrong for how you
did Jazz. I'm like, it's her what. I'm just trying
to get some cereal. No, seriously, but I don't know.
I don't know what's gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
I thought they did really this past season was really
I don't know. I feel like they found a sweet
spot of the show. It was like, I don't know,
it's just elevated in terms of like the amount of drama.
I just felt like they hit a sweet spot that's
great on this past season. So I'm excited about four
for You. I want to see it in the middle
of her album, in the middle of her tour, Girl
what and then and then and setting wedding dates because
(22:42):
you said you're gonna get married at some point.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
That's not my bucket list. But that's all I know.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
I'm just playing with you.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
You are hilarious, all right.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Anything else we need to know, anything we need to promote. Well,
the first of all, she's on the cover of Glamor
magazine released yesterday. She looks gorgeous. You should absolutely see
that and your and then your tour is coming.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
My tour is you said?
Speaker 1 (23:03):
May seven? Before six? May six is the day. It's okay,
it's a good day. May seventh, you'll be on tour.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
I will be there too.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
I actually a kind of correct. All right, we're gonna
play a little, a good little game.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Is this a game?
Speaker 1 (23:16):
What is this you're doing with us? Ivy?
Speaker 3 (23:17):
So this is the scenario, and you're gonna let me
know if you're gonna check it or you're gonna let
it slide.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
With both capricorns. You should just keep this. I already
know all the answers is check it.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
I'm just going for real slidell no talking about that.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
But let's see, let's see, let's let's not try to
be on my emotionally mature, let's not judge Scenario number one.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Your man likes his exes thirst trap at two am?
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Check it?
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Yeah, I mean, also, what's your name? Because nice meeting you.
You're done, You're out here.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
A producer tries to flirt in the studio instead of
focusing on the session.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Well that's for her because I don't be in the
studio when he was in a studio. All right, this
is a studio.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
I'm trying to put me under the bus by myself.
Get under here too.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
The answer is, what is the question?
Speaker 3 (24:08):
The producer tries to flirt in the studio instead of
focusing on the session.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Check it. It's not giving that.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Check it.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
That was weird up in here. I know.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
But do you say that or you're just give him
bad energy?
Speaker 2 (24:18):
Bro, easy, big dog? The hell's going on?
Speaker 1 (24:21):
That's not what we're doing here.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
Actually, air dropped me the beat. I'm out of here. Weird, weird, great?
Speaker 3 (24:29):
I concur a fan tweets Angie Coco is mid hm.
Are we checking out or letting it slide?
Speaker 2 (24:38):
I'm a slide.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
I'm going to delete and block.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
You're deleting and blocking all day.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
Life to life is too short. It takes me half
a second to delete and block. Really, it takes me
longer to respond, which I will not do. And then
if I happen to see it again, like a couple
of days later, now you've taken up more of my
time reading your mess So I'd rather just to quick
delete and block like.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
That, so you read it you read a lot of
your comments.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
I read every comment, every comment. You probably have way
more followers than me, so maybe you can't manage. I
can manage. Oh girl, I.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
Could get into the comments if I wanted to, But
I say myself, I don't want.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
To see you do you don't be curious?
Speaker 2 (25:15):
No, my friends be like I commented on that. I'm like,
ooh girl, sorry, you should have texted me. I don't
you know. I don't get in there.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
You don't read them at all.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
But if you happen to stumble upon one, if I
happen to stumble upon one, then I'm kind of like, hmm, alrighty.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Then who are you?
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Because what have I gotta do about that?
Speaker 1 (25:31):
You don't delete it, You don't delete a block.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
No, I'm like, stayble because that's still engagement towards my profile.
Thank you fair Again. I need Instagram to know they
are watching me.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
Engagement is amazing. Someone you curves back in the days
starts claiming that they put you on. Are you letting
in it slide? Are you checking it?
Speaker 2 (25:54):
What?
Speaker 1 (25:55):
There's a lot of factors here. Does this person warrant
a check?
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Like?
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Who were there? Is this? Or are they telling that
there are four friends.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
That they work back to you somehow they.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
Will that require I have to pick up the phone
to call somebody to check them.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
I don't know, check upon.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
Interaction.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Oh yeah, like if you run into them checking Okay,
word because I don't want to call you. I'm like,
let's not even how long about my day.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
I'm gonna let it slide.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Watch it okay? Exactly what she was saying, get real,
have a good day.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
She would have a good day. I don't know. I
might leave that out ahead.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Your ex shows up at your show or panel and
tries to get backstage.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
What the hell?
Speaker 1 (26:44):
What the hell? What the hell? What the helly.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Well, that's what you're letting us slide. You're gonna let
them come back. I'm letting it personally slide. But security
has been called.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
On the way out, regardless, there is a list backstage.
Your face is on the floor out.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
But letting it slide, I mean I can going through
something to come up here publicly letting it slide.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
So she's letting it slide and checking it at the
same time.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Yeah, what would you do, same thing.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
I would let somebody else check. I would let it slide.
Somebody else, check your behalf. Check on my behalf, check
on my behalf.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
That's a good option.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
Yea.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
A stylist puts you in something basic for a red carpet, check.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Immediately before it's even on. One leg is on? No
check what's going on?
Speaker 2 (27:39):
What's going on?
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Check that respectfully, though, Okay, this is gonna go back
to your music days so you can Oh my god,
you get a song to feature on and it's trash.
You're gonna let us lie and jump on it.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Are you gonna return to check the artist?
Speaker 1 (28:01):
An artist?
Speaker 2 (28:03):
I might have to job. I might depending on the scenario.
I'm on there. I'm sorry. I mean, I'm trying to
make it out here.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
You mad so have a big artist gives you a
trash song.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
I'm on it. Really, I'll do my biggest one and
I'll try to resurrect it. I can't pass up.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
And I respect that.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
And you know, Korea music is subjective. You liked it.
I love that for you. I like you. So I'm
with you.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
You're going and I'll do my part. I don't I
have nothing to say here.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
I don't know, I have nothing.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
I have turning to sunder y'all.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
I have nothing to say here because I haven't done
anything so in very long time, so I can't really say.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
But well, okay, okay, it's a huge platform. Okay, and
they want you to do some sort of content segment
and you like this is wag.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
Like you, what's a huge platform? What is it? Good
Morning America? Is that a huge platform?
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Yes? I think so? Okay, you know, okay, I was
gonna say network.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
I thought, okay, open free network calls. And they want
me to host a segment about.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
On all the networks? You know, she got all the networks.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
The answer is yes to Oprah WINFREYI.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
But you're like, what you gotta do though, is not
your it's not your bag. It's not right.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
Oh that's painful to me.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
You're cann feel a little corny doing it like corn el.
But but and the check is crazy as well. Throw
that on there. The check insane, Go what the helly?
Speaker 1 (29:32):
I've said no to a lot of things on a
lot of platforms because I don't like doing things that
I don't like to do. But Oprah might be the exception,
just because it would be like a bucket list thing
to do a project that was involved with Queen. Oh,
so it would have to the level of corn would
be really important here.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
You know what I'm saying, It's a tolerable amounts to.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
Then I would go in and try to I would
try to resurrect.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
Okay, you know we were gonna be I knew we
were gonna find ourselves. We were here the same place
with you.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
We're here, Yes we are. We are checking and we
are letting it slide.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
We're appropriate.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Put that job, honey.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
That was really good. I like that. That was so cute.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
Everybody Friday, her debut album, Whin Up More. Congratulations Mama,
