Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, I guess it's that time again, Taco Bob.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
That would be time for the Off the Air podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Yes, I'm pad Lynch, Taco Bob across from me. We
give you a new episode of this most thursdays, most
every Thursday.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
And I got to adjust this seat at my feet
are on talk.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Stand by, stand by. We've got a seat adjustment going on.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
The other side.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Otherwise we one day. You want you to be comfortable there, Taco.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Yeah, the feet that the chair that I rest my
feet on. Somebody came in here today and sat in
here and raised it all the way to the top.
So and my feet were like up up here and
my head's here.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Can't be having that. Well, your head is almost out
of camera range.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Now that's out. That's a bad circulation.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
There you go, it's you're centered again, all right. Perfect
for those few watching on Facebook live. Hey, So yesterday afternoon, uh,
Brooke Hogan made an interesting post on her Instagram.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Accounts something to do with our father. I take it.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
I've got one hundred percent legit calls from professionals, from
police officials to nurses that were supposedly with my dad
on the day of his death telling me I need
to see body cam footage, and I need to get
a hold of the nine to one to one tapes
because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough

(01:33):
light to change the narrative that we slash. Everyone's been
hearing those same professionals feel so passionately about what they witnessed.
They have continued to contact me and push me to
find specific answers to this very day. What do you

(01:56):
make of that? Now, keep in mind.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
She has an album or something else.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Know, she's somewhat somewhat estranged from her father. She had
removed herself from his will and really hadn't had much
contact with him as of lates. And why is that
just she just I don't think it was any bad
bad blood or anything. She just was kind of separating
herself from the whole circus, I guess. And she has

(02:22):
a couple of young kids and you know, living her life.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I I just, is she still living over in Tampa?
You know?

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Yeah, there's there's still full of residents and I, uh,
here's here's what I why this caught my attention. Yeah,
if she's not getting some sort of you know, vibe
about any of the stuff that she just why would
she even bring this up? Given the past track record

(02:49):
of sensationalism that's gone on with that family over a
variety of things, from her brother Nick's issues to the
sex tape to all of the above. Why why would
you even want to kick that hornings nest again if
there wasn't some legit concern or question as to what

(03:10):
did or didn't happen to ultimately cause Hulk Hogan's death,
which was the cause specifically was a heart attack that
took him out in the end, which you know followed
his battle with some illness that he had kind of
kept under wraps.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yes, so the officers came out with this now that
this is what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
She's saying that people inside the police department, at least
that's what she's indicating, or like you need to see
this body. And then she's saying that that that, uh,
it's not being made public, and she's in s anyway
that there's some sort of cover up going on, some
foul play. Why why would there be what's I don't know,
someone out with someone out to get Hulk Hogan. Hey, granted,

(03:56):
there were plenty of people who didn't like his uh,
his view on a lot of things, which which is fine.
You know, you can agree to disagree on whatever insert
subject or you know topic. But I wasn't under the
impression that his life was being threatened in any the hulkster.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
I have no interest in it. I mean, honestly, I
was more drawn to where you said that she wrote
herself out of his will and kind of disowned from him,
because you sure as hell liked him a lot when
he was helping you out promote your career. I'm just
saying that.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
You know the Again, anybody who's followed that family over
the years knows there's there was never a hesitation to
draw controversy on a whole host of things. And you know,
I just don't know why you would go into this
area after someone's dead if there wasn't something that you

(05:00):
honestly thought was up. That's that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah, so it probably is. Hey, you can get a
you can get an eight x ten Brooke Hugan and
a blue bikini photo for three dollars ninety eight ens.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Where are you buying that? Bad boy?

Speaker 2 (05:13):
It just says in stock I just googled a Brooke
Hugan bikini. Okay, so I just still look good looking, lady,
of course she is.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I just wanted to bring this up because I thought
it was quite interesting, and uh, you know a lot
of people were you know, yeah, you know, pulled to
Hulk Hogan for whatever reason, and you know, saddened when
he died. Some others actually applauded. But whatever is, you know, that's.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
I don't understand how anybody would applaud somebody dying.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Come on, it's these are the times we live in.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Unless it's one of these, you know, serial killers that
gets death.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Row right right. So anyway, be curious to see what
it comes to this. Any if anything comes to this,
I think would be a better description. Is there some
nefarious plot like a wrestling storyline? No, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
I'm gonna go wrestle the person.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
I got something else that might be more Your cup
of tea, Taco Bob.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
I know my cup of tea over here, I'm looking
at it. It's Brooke Hogan bikini.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Okay, Now, what's up? I just I saw this. Let
me find this. I want to bring this up because
I know this is one of your favorite people out there.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Hey, while you're finding that are you? Isn't it amazing?
I bought my first laptop computer computer.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Yeah, you confess to that on the air today. How
old are you?

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Fifty four? And but the irony about buying that computer
six months ago? Never set it up? I mentioned this
on the air. Then once it's been set up, you
know how many times I've used it?

Speaker 1 (06:50):
You've never used zero?

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yeah, I need to remind my life. We've did my wife.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Sean William Scott aka Stiffler? Yeah, the Stiffler?

Speaker 2 (07:04):
What about him?

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Do you know how much he's worth? And we only
know this shit? Look, we only know well, Taco, what's
his claim to fame other than other than being Stiffler
American Pie?

Speaker 2 (07:16):
And then he was a big brother or something like that.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
He's been in some other stuff, Yeah, the Rundown, goon
Jay and Silent Bob Strike back, dude, where's my car?

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Old School?

Speaker 1 (07:28):
He was in Old School, the Dukes of Hazzard. So
there's you know, he's had some stuff, but not an
a list actor.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Yeah, even know, I think he should be. I'm gonna
say he's worth fifteen.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
According to a court filing, Sean William Scott makes one
hundred and ten thousand dollars a month and has more
than thirty million dollars in stocks and property.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, that dude has thirty million to his name. Man,
how is he making one hundred and six thousand a month?

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Hundred and ten thousand a month? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Is it residuals?

Speaker 1 (08:05):
I'm sure that's part of it. According to the rundown,
he makes one hundred and ten thousand dollars a month,
including forty five thousand dollars in royalty payments and thirty
one thousand dollars in dividends and interest. So he's he
could sit there and just live off of his investments
right now if he wants to totally, which is beautiful.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah. How why is this in court? Was somebody is
his wife? Soon?

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I guess somebody just saw he made some sort of
filing where he had to make financial disclosures and they
were like, that guy's worth thirty million dollars. He thought
that was funny. Man.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Hey, you think about somebody like Ashton Kutcher, how much
his worth is?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Wow? I mean whole different level with somebody like that.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Totally put what I'm saying. Just think of that. And
not only is he obviously loaded, loaded, but he also
had the hottest or him And what's here an, I'm
still together, Mila Kune.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
As far as I know, did they get married?

Speaker 2 (09:05):
I think so. Remember he was with Demi.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Moore, which, yeah, we we were jealous of that situation
for a few years.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Kidding it. There's people that are focused on like she's
so much older than he is, and who cares exactly
and what's his name of Ashton Kutcher? Ashton still married?
I think they are. I did it under pictures, let

(09:36):
me do it on her knees. Step out for a
night date. This is two weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yeah, that answers your question.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yeah, they were at this sphere two weeks ago, and
uh two weeks ago in Vegas. I wonder if they
were there the Backstreet Boys they I wonder if they
were there the same night that Uh coach Mark Dane
As I'm gonna have to ask him to No, I
think he was there a week.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Yeah, God, all right, So we're going fishing this weekend.
We keep getting asked, are.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
You guys still going to the others?

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Are Hurricane out there? Well, Aaron has moved well north
and is getting ready to head out to sea and
pulling away as we speak. Yes, there's still some very
rough surf today, as in when we're doing this podcast Thursday,
August twenty first, uh huh. But looking at the extended forecast,
conditions are going to vastly improve over the next two days.

(10:36):
So the answer is, yes, we're still going fishing unless
for some unforeseen reason we're told otherwise.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Yeah, we're going fishing all right.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
And then we get the party at fish Lips, which,
whether you're going fishing with us or not, fish Lips
is always fun at Port Canaveral on a Friday night
to get the weekend started.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yeah, Friday nights starting at six, will be at a
at fish Lips beer specials. While right there you can
save on your meal as well. Just come on out
and we're giving away the last the final trip aboard
the offshore fiasco for you and a guest. Yeah, we
win that.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
We held back two spaces on the sold out boats.
And if you're interested in going and being with us
on Saturday morning, you need to be at fish Slips
Friday night to try to win that situation.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
I'm still over here looking at meal at CLEMSS.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Pictures made the mistake of baiting you with something like that. Huh.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Yeah, this is the one that I always remember because
the other ones I'm not clicking on. But this one
was real because it was in a movie that she
was in. See right here. Oh wow, there she's walking
top us with another chick. Some you know, they make
some of your fake but.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
That happens. Yeah, exactly, people cutting paste.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
And forgetting Sarah's for getting Sarah Marshall is what it was. Great,
great movie. Mm hmm let me close that up.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
What I get a kick out of watching you.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
That's a great head affixed to body there until totally
it's not her. So yeah, excited for the all short fiasco.
It was something else I was gonna tell you.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Oh, I wanted. I wanted to bring something up. We
were bssing about in between songs here. Earlier, Taco has
taken a weird fascination to the estranged wife of former
Osiola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez. His wife Robin.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
She's she's a pretty good looking lady, and they keep
showing her and she got in the news.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
She was in the news again yesterday because you know,
she's out, she's out of jail. Right now. But was
had to wear one of those GPS ankle monitors, and
we I didn't know this, but she petitioned to have
the ankle monitor removed, not because she had a problem
wearing it, but because she had a problem paying for it.

(13:08):
You have to pay ten dollars a day to be
monitored via the GPS ankle monitor.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Think about that. That's seventy times four as that's twenty
two hundred and eighty dollars a month to pay for that.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
But isn't she up on racketeering charges. Its got to
be some fun somewhere that she could utilize towards that.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I would think, But I don't they freeze all your
cash and assets, like if Stiffler was to run if Stiffler,
for instant instance, was to start running underground SAT machines.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
I think they freeze the stuff that they have a
question as to whether it might be legit or not.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
I mean, I hope to never find out.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
I mean, they both had legitimate jobs where they were
getting you know, legit paychecks, and I don't think you
should have that money frozen, right I don't.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Think you'd keep that separate from your other money.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
So now you're no longer it's hot to trot for
her just because of the dress she was wearing on
the noose.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Yeah, when they paraded her in in the you know,
orange jumpsuit, it hotted it up a little bit, but
it did her bed.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Her body is a sun dress. She was wearing the
court yesterday, variation of a sun dress with the ankle
bracelet still on ankle monitor.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Do you notice and I picked things apart obviously, what's
her last name, Robin? Her first name's Ron, I mean
last Lopez, roops. I noticed things pretty in depth. And
did you notice the shoes that she had on that
were very small? And do you want to know why?

(14:45):
Because that way it makes that ankle monitor looks so
big you're picking up. Oh, Robin. Mother players is a
professional basketball player too. It looks nothing like her.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Would you if you weren't married and you met someone
that was wearing an ankle monitor and you seem to
hit it off, would uh would that be a stumbling
block or at least give you a pause for concern?

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Well, yeah, it would suck in bed. Yeah, if she's
one of the ones that wants to spoon and then
it's hitting you all the time and then making love
with it. But I guess it would depend what the
punishment is for that she's wearing that ankle monitor.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
You would at the very least have some questions. Oh yeah,
and if they were at all, you know, kind of
avoiding answering those questions, then I'm thinking your concern might
go up.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Right, I'm not dating, but yeah, ammertime you want to. Yeah,
well you just need to know what the crime is.
I mean, if she says, oh, I murdered my EXE, no,
I mean, that could be a great conversation starter, icebreaker.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
Yeah, you can get you swipe and set up your
first date with someone based on their picture. Obviously you're
not going to a picture of their their ankle and
you show up at your uh, your first date, and
there she is, she's got that on. Who do if
you're the one wearing the ankle monitor? Do you just

(16:19):
get out of the way, obviously go look, I know
you're probably looking at this, do you? Or do you
wait for the guy that you you've met up with
to ask you about it?

Speaker 2 (16:29):
We had somebody asked the life coach once about an
ankle monitor. Remember the guy said, how long is too
long to wait to tell the girl I'm dating that
I have an ankle.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Monitor, so he's been wearing long pants just guid.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Yeah, I think that's the kind of thing you talk
about right out of the gate. Okay, what's that from
funny story? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Misunderstanding. It's always a misunderstanding.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
No, but I mean, Robin, have you're hearing this. I'm
not saying you're still a beautiful lady. I think that
she looked prettier when she was brought into.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Jail, the jail duds.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
No, it walking into jail in the normal clothes, you know,
when she first got arrested, right, and then once she
was in there even Yeah, and the duds, I like
that are better than this red dress. If you're wondering,
if you're just tuning angle and what the hell are
you guys talking about? And you don't live in this area.
A local sheriff.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Was he was a sheriff of Ossiola County. Yeah, yeah,
Marcos Lopez.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Was arrested on alleged running casinos racketeering charges. Yes, Robbins
is white? Is this strange white?

Speaker 1 (17:43):
And she subsequently was also arrested and swooped up in
this whole thing and Bob took a liking to her.
He's just like, Wow, she's kind of hot. Yeah, so
that's that's how we ended up with this whole fascination
and following her every move, just like the cheap es monitor.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
I asked you earlier when we were chatting out this
not on the air, if what what's the deal with him?
Have you heard any updates on him? Because the news
was so damn focused on the steel door of the
jail waiting for him to be released jail door cam.
You figured they'd give you some updates.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
He's obviously laying low, and I would be too if
I was him. Oh yeah, who knows who he's staying with.
I don't know what Marcos Marcos Lopez. I see.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
I could just give in to AI and ask update
extra Barmouth with I type the latest out from a
month ago.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
He's laying you.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Notice he got picked up in like a badass black truck.
Remember that.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
Sure they make the everybody watches these movies and stuff.
It's like, you know, if I'm going to be made
a spect glove, might as well just follow the script.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Yeah, So he gets picked up in like a big
Lincoln navigator or something.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Like that, and the local news stations have their helicopters
follow them. Oh yeah, like it's an LA Freeway chase
or something.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Uh huh. And then you see the guy that picks
his wife is a strange wife, just some shalub like
you know.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
My favorite thing though, the whole of this whole mess,
we were talking about the jail door camera. Every single
local TV station here here in Orlando was fascinated by
this story. And once he went into jail after he
was arrested, how long is it going to take? And
is he going to be granted a bond bail? And

(19:42):
they all parked a camera outside the jail and just
left it running in hopes of catching a glimpse of
him coming out. And then a couple of weeks later,
it was a couple of weeks before he was finally
let loose.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
They'd always show the reporter standing in front of the
steel door. We're waiting to find out when Mark Lopez
is going to be released.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
And we're just talking going, why do these TV stations
think everybody is so glued to this story. It's a
racketeering charge, okay, whatever, it's a sheriff. Yeah, that sucks
that's really bad. Yeah, but there's other stuff going on
that might take precedent in the world. Right now, you're
dedicating a field reporter to the camp outside of the

(20:23):
damn jail twenty four to seven, and then when he
finally is released, they try to make it look like
this big rush of activity. But if you take a
step back and look, there's like nine people walking very
fast and they've got a coat pulled up over the
head and stuff, and they rush them to the black
suv talked about, and it's like this whole chaotic It wasn't.
It was just you know, oh, look, everybody's watching us.

(20:46):
Now it's our turn to shine. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
And what got me off of that was every single
time that they'd show the reporter in front of the
said door, why don't you just have that reporter reporting
outside the station, you know, like this, Hey, it's Taco
Bob Live with the latest update on Marco Slopez and
I'm just like out in front of the TV.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Stage or or put him in front of the actual Uh.
The jail were the main entrances, and just ask every
single employee comes in and out every day, Hey, any
news on Mark?

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Yeah, yeah, what's he getting out.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
What's getting out?

Speaker 2 (21:22):
They wouldn't get tired of doing.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
It until they trespassed your ass. Good god, oh boy.
All right, so she's got her ankle monitor off. Yeah,
that's that's the update.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
And and the fact that we both learned, and I'm
sure a lot of other people learn now that you
have to pay ten bucks a day for those I
asked you earlier on the air. I'm like, I've seen people,
the majority of people that are all of a sudden
giving an ankle on her. They ain't paying that.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
No way, And I'll finance it.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Yeah. You know who's paying it?

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Us?

Speaker 2 (21:52):
US, US the taxpayer.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
This whatdn't happened if it was a Bob World Order
situation exactly.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Mode off at the kneecap justice. All right, good morning
people checking in on the Facebook Live by the way.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Do you have Do you have anything else you need
to discuss this? I know you've had a very very
trying week. Yeah, I'm good and I understand that.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Yeah, No, I don't have anything I really okay. All right, Well,
I talked about it earlier about the computer that was
the big thing.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
Your landmark accomplishment for the week. Bought his first computer.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
Yep, somebody. Thanks for checking in over in the UK,
Keith said, loud and clear in the UK. All right,
I love you European listeners tuning in. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
All Right, We're gonna probably wrap it up here a
little bit early this morning this week.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Yeah, you know what, I do kind of have an
appointment that I have to go to at the d
m V.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
But I have an.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Appointment actually, so I'm good. I'm not rushing because of
that list.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
It's not a South Florida d m V appointment.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Yeah, we do. You have to buy it from somebody
in the stre one hundred and fifty bucks corner.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Remember the Florida theory, the farther south you go in
this state, the sketchy here it gets. Yep, we've both
lived here long enough to see that usually is accurate.
So with that, thank you for checking out our Off
the Air podcast, new episodes every Thursday. Tell a friend
or two about this. The more the merrier is the
way we look at it.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
And I'm looking forward to next week's off our podcast
because I'm sure we'll be talking about the fishing trip.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Yeah, the fishing trip is a go, and if you're
signed up for that we will see you this weekend,
whether it's at fish Lips or the next morning at
the doc or both. Hey, it's gonna be a good times.
Gonna be a good times. Is how many years have
we done this?

Speaker 2 (23:42):
We've done this?

Speaker 1 (23:43):
I was trying to fit before.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
We got fired.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Okay that my wife asked me that had we been
doing this before we were fired? I know for a
fact we were. Yeah, because so we've been back fift
came back in twenty ten, ten years back, so we're
back fit. So this is at least the fifteenth time
since we've been back.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Since we've been back, but before it, we had done
it a couple of times because I remember saying, man,
we need to do this trip and could we use
this boat? That that? Uh that my wife and I
went on our first real like you know date on
your first.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Was on a drift boat one of them. Yeah I
didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Yeah, first first real date was a crash his super
Bowl party. That was the first date we ever had.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Okay, that was cool.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
I remember I was just dropping her off because I
didn't really know her that way. I'm like, all right,
well cool, So that was fun and she goes, you're
not getting out of here that easy, and went back
to our house.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
Oh I still think the irony that your wife was
your brother's roommate.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Uh huh. He needed rent after he broke off. My
brother was engaged owned a house. They broke off that
engagement and he needed a roommate. So my wife worked
at Pebbles in winter Park, a restaurant here in winter Park.
She worked with my brother, and so did a girl
named Janet. So they it was like threes company, and

(25:13):
there actually was a Janet involved. I love it. Remember
he told her, he said, don't date my brother. He's
a player. And the reason why, why would you ever
tell her this? I go, she's a hot chick, and
that's a dick movie guy. I don't want to lose rent.
He was afraid then I was gonna dick her over

(25:36):
and then he'd lose rent.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
He says, ship, all right, until next time, take it easy,
We'll see you
