Speaker 3 (00:52):
Good law for a friend.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Danny Myrie, Orlando Date Night guide dot Com.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
How are you, young lady.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
I am marvelous. It is one of the best weeks
of the year, baby.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
So good to see you. Of course.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I know that very very very busy for you this
time of year, going back and forth out toward the parks,
coming back here as well as a mom as a
whole nine yards. You just said you're looking forward to
the Thanksgiving break. Yes, and this is like one of
the busiest weekends.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
It is.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
This is literally this weekend, next week or two of
the busiest weekends in our entire year.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
What do we have going this weekend?

Speaker 5 (01:29):
Yes, So the big highlight for us or Lando wins
is Jingle Eve, which is happening this Saturday.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
That's at Ivanhoe Park Village.

Speaker 5 (01:39):
They do fireworks and movies and food vendors and market vendors.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
It's just it's a whole shabang party.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
And to kick it off at four pm on Saturday
is the Jingle Eve parking Lot Party. And this is
happening at Narley Barley in there you know by four little.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Right, Yeah, yeah right.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
They took they're three spaces and turn it into a
magical shopping area.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
So there's gonna be food trucks in that area and
that way, you kind of get there early before the
crowds even get bigger because Jingle Eve itself kicks off
at four thirty, but this parking lot party starts at four.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Very nice.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
I'm a big fan of the early bird situation. I'm
a pre senior citizen, is what I am.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Get me in bed by ten.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Also happening Saturday. Our friends Tom and Dan are doing
the Bad at Business beer Fest and all of the
Shenanigans that come with it.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Downtown Sandford. Get there around twelve, get your tasting. They
start pouring around two o'clock. They're on with us yesterday
live music. It's a lot of fun. It's a free event.
Bring the fan, bring the dogs. It's downtown Sandford to
have an after party down at West End with I
Believe the God super.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Villain, yea super villain. The guys will out there playing,
so it's just gonna be a blast.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
Absolutely, it's a whole day thing. You might as well
just that's your Saturday.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
And if you've never seen the Super that's as legendary
as an Orlando band can get.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
I mean they're great people as well.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
Absolutely, So there is a twenty dollars donation to the
Yellow Brick Road and that could you two hundred full
poor cups supporting a local cause.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
I mean, that's that sounds awesome.

Speaker 5 (03:16):
Crazy all right, Happening Sunday, after you've had all of
that fun, either at Jingle Leave or Bad at Business Beerfest,
then you've got coffee and beats. We got another Coffee
rave here in Orlando one every Sunday.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
I swear it's just coffee.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yeah, just coffee, all right.

Speaker 5 (03:36):
So this one's happening at Luminescent, which is on East Colonial,
and the cover charge is fourteen dollars. You are going
to have Los Padres, Jane Gene Cossas and Loomy and
coffee and Beats is for twenty one and up only.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Very nice.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
So that is Sunday, ten am to two pm. Event
that's actually happening Friday. So we're gonna go over a
couple of like Thanksgiving pre Thanksgiving fun things you can do.
So happening tomorrow is the Thanksgiving themed cooking class at
Truffles and Trifle.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Oh what a good time. Yeah, yeah, so much fun.
It is a lot of fun. That's like a hidden
gym in Central Florida if you can get in and
do that. Troubles and Rifles. They've been doing it for years.
Super fun. I think they do like maybe six couples
or something like that. You go in, they have everything
set up for you. They start pouring wine, you put
on your apron, and for about two and a half
three hours you just have a great time.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Cooking and drinking and the hostess is wonderful as well.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
Absolutely, yes, So this one is two hundred and twenty
dollars per couple, but you're getting to you know, that's
one hundred and ten dollars per person. You're doing the
whole cooking class. You get to enjoy what you make.
Everybody kind of chips in. It's really a great way
to have kind of some some socialization, you know, do
something new, something different, and if something doesn't, if it

(04:57):
doesn't work out, for you to do it this Thanksgiving,
which again this class is tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
They do all kinds.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Of kicking classes all the time.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
Happening next Wednesday. So the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is Drinksgiving
at Boxy Park.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
So this is.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
Seven dollars in advance or ten dollars at the door
from six pm to eleven pm on Wednesday, They're gonna
have live music, drink specials, decorations. It is a great
festive time to essentially ruin your your try if you're
gonna do that the next morning.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Is it the Wednesday before Thanksgiving stereotypically considered like one
of the biggest party days of the year. Oh wow,
everybody's off work that night, you can go out. It's Wednesday,
which is a hunt day, party day already, and then
you're out Forgiving.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
And this year, I feel like, you know, we were
talking during Halloween that we feel like, you know, Orlando
was just going all out for Halloween. I feel like
there's even more Christmas pop up bars than there ever
have been this year, and so a lot of them
are already underway. But then if they haven't started, they
are definitely starting Wednesday night. Different hotels and resorts have

(06:05):
you know, Christmas pop up bars.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
A lot of local places, of course.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
We have a full list at Orlando Date nightguide dot
com and I have a couple ones to highlight here
in a second. Also happening Saturday after Thanksgiving is the
Friends Giving social at a La Carte at their Orlando locations,
so their original one. They are encouraging you to help
walk off your your food coma and kind of stroll

(06:29):
around and see the different food trucks that are there.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Yeah, because that's what ola cart is, right, It's basically
an area where food trucks kind of post up.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Yep. Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
They also have a beer there on draft that has
its own cult following. Really yeah, it's the Peanut Butter
Jelly mix tape something one or another. The third it's
got its own little following, and I believe it's like
one of the only places around that you can get
that specietic beer on draft.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
Nice sweet peanut butter and jelly mixtape. Sounds like a
big part of my youth.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Yeah, yeah, right, that's probably the idea.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
And that's what's neat about the guys that own a
La Carte, the three different locations. They are craft beer lovers,
so they always have like some really cool and unique
things on draft. So some of the a couple of
places that are doing the Christmas pop up bars, You've
got JoJo's Shake Bar pointer Orlando.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
This one goes nuts.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
It's like the whole ceiling is just you know, if
you can find a blank spot on that ceiling, you're lucky.
They have you know, crazy shakes, hot cocoa cocktails, mocktails.
And then what I really am loving this year is
the Green and Red Coconut Club, which is at Universal
City Walk. It's the Red Coconut Club, right, and they
go all out for the holidays, but they are opening

(07:48):
it up daily.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
The week of Christmas.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
So from now until Christmas it is open every night
five pm. But then they're going to open it during
the day the week of Christmas, so that anyone until
come on in and you don't have to worry about
waiting till the evening.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
I've never been there.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
Good, it's a really really cute if they keep the
theme that they had last year, it's like ski lodge themed,
like these really cool snow globe looking things, good live music.
And then a new one this year is the Sip
in Santa at Shark Bar Orlando. So this is at
Live at the Point and Shark Bar is like retro

(08:24):
beach themed, and so Sip in Santa is this kind
of pop up theme that you'll see at different bars
all around the country and it's tiki bar meets Christmas bar. Okay,
so these guys are doing that, and I think that
kicks off tomorrow night. And then the last lastly was
announced for December fourth onward is the front Yard.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Holiday Festival at Doctor Phillip Center.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Okay, so oh that's cool. They do all that's about
that on that lawn. Yep, Yeah, that's cool.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
So this is going to be a free event. To
go to.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
It's going to be happening nightly from December fourth onward,
and then they are going to have like a themed
kind of lounge bar area as well, with you know,
hot cocoa cocktails and plenty of seatings.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
So that'll be a cool place to hang on.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
Yeah, no problem whatsoever. That's awesome. Yes, So the thing
that we're gonna be part of, Yeah, right on, there'll.

Speaker 6 (09:15):
Be an iHeartMedia activation there as well. Danny, you go
into the.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
There can we coordinate sweaters?

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Oh yeah, Jimmy will no, will I have a full
Santa suit? Yeah, not like a Santa suit. It's a
suit with a bunch of Santas on it. Oh yeah, yeah,
it's a little different suit.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
I was expecting like the Florida version at least, like
the shorts.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Right, that's the Florida version of saying it already right there,
the anger, the always armed, always god.

Speaker 5 (10:00):
Santa has seen some STUFFA Santa has done some stuff.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
And also done so yeah, Santa's got stories. Oh yeah,
not all of them.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Christmas Eve instead of like a workshop, if it was
just like a government cheese facility, then yeah, like that
checks out.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
What are you doing this? Weekend.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
This weekend, we are going to SeaWorld for their Christmas stuff.
We may stop by Santa's Farm, which you can actually
cut down your own tree.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
There.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
He is cool.

Speaker 5 (10:29):
We are going to stop by Jojo Shake Bar. They
have ornament painting as well, so we get to do that.
