Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Congrats on your career by the way, Budy, Yeah, that's awesome.
I know you work a lot of hard and we
actually when last week when you could make it, we
kind of explain what your situation is so people understand
you're not skipping out.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
No, you have other things to do. I know you
love doing the bit.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
I love this segment so much. Video games is my life,
so I've never quo off.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Now.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Look, I know there's a lot of stuff out there
right now because I've actually read some news that I
actually did not say because I knew that the segment
was coming.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
I know GameStop has some stuff coming up and things
of that as well.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
I did even hear about the game Stop stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
What are they doing that thing?
Speaker 4 (01:30):
Jack?
Speaker 2 (01:30):
We talked about this the otherney. It was trade anything. Yeah,
you can trade trade anything thing.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
I did hear about that.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
I don't know how well that worked out of that
happen yet.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Don't know. I just saw it and I was like, oh,
games Game Info, that's all.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
It's because they're losing their company. Everything's going digital. They're
they're now in like really big with like trading cards
and stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Is that what it is?
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Yeah, that's like one of the really big things now,
game Stop switching up a lot. It's really Yeah, it's
a little weird, but it is what it is. I
missed the old Game Stop. Sure. Uh, there's a lot
of going on with video game movies. I have a
couple of video game movies to talk about. I love movies.
The Mario movie got a new trailer. It really yeah,
I'm very excited for that. When the first animated one
was great.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I haven't seen the first one yet.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
Yeah, what are you doing? It's a great movie.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah, the Mario one with Jack Black?
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Yes, oh yeah, okay, yeah, the roadblocks not roadblocks, but
the Jack Black and h No.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
That was Minecraft. They all just blend into each other.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
Another video game slash movie got canceled, so the Teenage
Moves and Ninja Turtles. They're working on a last rown
in video game and movie. That's one of like the
biggest comic stories from the Turtles lifetime. The movie just
got canceled today, and it's looking like the video game
is also going to get canceled along with the movie.
There's no word on the video game yet, but we've
(02:47):
had no update on it. Nothing.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Is the brand soft now or something. I thought that
brand was still pretty strong, man. I thought the Turtles
kind of jumped generation.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
So they had that animated movie that came out phenomenal.
They were coming back a bit and then they're like, yeah,
we're gonna do this rated R last Ronan movie, and
now it's scrapped and they're going to like they're making
a new movie with the nineties feel to it.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Okay, I don't know. I'd rather just have it with
the dance numbers.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
I yeah, they're like break dancing turtles and stuff while
they're fighting and stuff.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Yes, I also pass.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
I real quick on this.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
Trade Anything the game Shop, Trade Anything Day. It's gonna
be Saturday, December six. Customers can trade anything for store credit. Now,
the restrictions are people are limited to trading one item
and it has to fit in a twenty by twenty
by twenty inch box.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
So if you got a twenty.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
Inch cube, whatever item you want to trade, you can
trade it for store credit.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
But it's only on December sixth at GameStop.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
We're gonna get two dollars for it.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yeah yeah, shopper games, right, I got this thirty thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Watch how much are you are you gonna give me?
Like a buck? Twenty five exactly? I just go deny.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
I texted Jack as soon as this happened, but I
would like to break his heart again. GTA six has
been delayed again. No, no, no, no, no, no, it's
still in November, November, nineteen November.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Yeah, six it kicked it down six months. It's a
year from now, matter of fact, a year from two
days ago.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Yeah, less than a year now. Actually, oh yeah, we're who.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
You guys, nerds three hundred and sixty three days nerd.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
All right, but they GTAs not even Rockstar in general
is under a lot of fire right now. They so
they've laid off about thirty employees, all because these thirty
people were trying to unionize of Rockstar Games.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
So were they really Yeah, they don't care for that.
Speaker 5 (04:40):
No.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
Rockstar was like, we're a billion dollar company. Get to
the curve.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Ye ask Starbucks how it's going. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
So they're none in no legal trouble in the US,
only in the UK.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
So just because of censorship stuff.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
I have no clue why. But the UK is like
really really going after Rockstar really yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Fighting for a dental plan. I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
They need their beans in the morning.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
It still works. Oh god, it's still the most disgusting
food on planet Earth. Uh, leading in beans and toasts.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Yeah, have you had it?
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Looks like prison food, it does. When they're like, this
is a traditional English breakfast. I'm like, these people hate their.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
It's terrible. Man. I look at that food as it does.
It looks like something that it doesn't. It looks like
a prison plate.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
It does.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
It looks like a summer camp plate where they just
kind of threw together stuff left every from last season.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Anyway, I can't get over. That's gonna be stuck in
my head all day.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
So sorry.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Speaking of g T A six, uh, people are thinking
they're putting a little bit of g T A six
into g T A five. The online version of g
T A five got two updates. Well, one's coming in December.
The other one was just a couple of weeks ago.
A bunch of new businesses, new missions, way to make money.
But the biggest thing that's happening in g T A
five is they're adding mansion mansions you can buy, you
(05:59):
can in, you can do really, I bet you can change.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Yeah. Let me ask you this.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
If GTA five I haven't, I haven't played it in years, right,
but I still have it. These updates do you have
to pay for them or it's automatically included? Right?
Speaker 4 (06:14):
It's like, uh, it's like live service games of four
live service games really all you do is just download
an update and you're play.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
If I if I pop that game in tonight to play,
it's going to do an update and then probably you know,
seven hours later it'll be ready to play.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
It's probably's probably not that big of an update.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
But yes, it's been a while since I've put that game.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
Yeah, I uh, speaking a minute. Speaking of downloads, I
downloaded Black Ops seven over the weekend. You want to
guess how long that took me to download. Just take
a guess. Two hours twelve really, two hundred and forty
five gigabytes?
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Did you clear everything else off your hard drive?
Speaker 3 (06:48):
I had to, unfortunately, for every time I downloaded new
and I delete the ones that I don't use anymore,
because I mean, I need the space.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
You have an external hard drive plugged in yet I
don't know the But you were not big on the
Black Ops. You were more big on Battlefield. Have you
played Black Ops seven? The ads are all over the
place for.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
This I have now I have a couple of things
to say. Don't even waste your eye vision on playing
this campaign. It is the worst story mode I've ever
seen in a Call of duty.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
That's all I would play that's funny.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Don't, don't, don't, I'm not even But.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
What makes it was so much worse than another one?
Speaker 5 (07:23):
What?
Speaker 2 (07:23):
What I mean? What what dude?
Speaker 5 (07:24):
You have?
Speaker 4 (07:25):
I don't even know where to start. You have these
weird demons and they like take over characters. They turn
into giant alien monsters. At one point there's a giant
thirty feet tomahawk coming down to the ground to hit them.
It makes no sense.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Are you the one you gave me? Doesn't make an exult?
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Are you familiar with like when he says story mode
or campaign mode, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
So that's that is?
Speaker 5 (07:45):
That is a single player game. If you were gonna play,
you could have the experience and play it. But it's
only you playing against the computer.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Right, OK?
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Yeah, yeah I got online.
Speaker 5 (07:57):
When you talk about online, that's every all real against
other people and they all have their own characters in
this virtual environment. Yeah, other people are killing you. Meanwhile
in campaign mode, you are doing the mission. It's whatever.
Story It's like you're a character in the movie.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Got It. But what he's saying is this movie is
not so bad. Great movie sucks because the campaign mode ax,
it sucks.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
Yeah, to put it in perspective, every Call of Duty
campaign has been about like war and you know, inside
government and stuff like this.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
One's about sewing pretty much.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
Yeah, yeah, it's pretty much sewing. I rather sow than
play this campaign to put it in perspective for you.
But when you play the multiplayer, Oh boy, do I
love that multiplayer?
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Really?
Speaker 4 (08:35):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (08:35):
I love it? Is that unique for it to have
one so bad in one mode and be it really
good in the other Or.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
Is that No, it's Call of Duty. Usually campaign's pretty
good and the multiplayer sucks or vice versa. Yes, there's
never just all great games in Call of Duty. Uh,
but I love it. There's no skill based matchmaking, which
has killed Call of Duty. It's the first Call of
Duty to not have skill based matchmaking since m W nineteen.
Skill based matchmaking means I.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Know what it means. Stop you sure? No, I don't.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
Yeah, that's that's what I thought.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
That means what he's saying, if correct, If you guys
got into the same game, like, they match you with
him and he's a gamer and you're a nube.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Oh I see. So In other words, they match up
with people equal skill skill base.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Yeah so, but skill base destroyed Call of Duty. You
got punished for doing good in the video game because
you pop off for a crazy game. And then now
you're in a lobby full of just pro players, like
it's the hardest game you've ever played. Now you can
pup stop. It's like back in the day. You join
any lobby, I'm dropping fifty on you, no, no problem, Yeah,
it's great.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
I'm sure I know what all this means. What what
what did he just say? What is he talking about? Gambling?
Shooting threes?
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Yeah, there we go. I'm balling the basketball the paint. Yeah,
oh yeah, fifty in the paint. That's impressive.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Exactly.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
I know that was a pee by the way, paint paints.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
In a taint joke.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
I realized it took me a second.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
This is see this is a language you don't speak.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Yeah, yeah, I don't speak real radioly and you anyways,
the campaign or the camos are super easy to get.
Camo challenges aren't hard. It's it's a fun game. It's
a good game. I really enjoy it. How long why
be playing this game? Probably about two weeks and then
I'll give up on.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
You'll be done with it?
Speaker 5 (10:21):
Yeah, probably, I don't think Jimmy's hard drive is enough.
He couldn't put this one game on it.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
Right two and five gigs?
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Yeah I could.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
Yeah, probably Well.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
To be honest with you, I have no interest in
him because the games that he gave me. I'm still
playing RoboCop and the games that he gave me, like
the one that gave me yesterday or this past.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Week is crazy a f He's gonna love it.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
It's called high Time. Are your life? High? Own life?
And holy s you have a gun that talks to you.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
You're killing your ex wife's your ex wife banged an
alien and you have to kill those those those people
are coming after you now. And then the alien lands
in your ex wife's yard and the aliens come off
this alien ship and now you have to kill them.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
And it's crazy like it and it's it's insane. Yeah,
like don't but you're just shooting people. That's all it is.
You're just wandering through an area in shooting people.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
Yeah. I told he was an acid trip of a
video dating and I.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Don't even know where to go.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
Like the first part of it is like when they
and and by the way, uh, the guy who narrates
it is the guy's divorce lawyer.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
He goes, hey, this is Bill, your divorce lawyer.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
And he and he constantly reminds him that he's just
he's his divorce lawyer. And it makes you laugh out
loud after about the fifth time because he sounds just like.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
A damn divorce lawyer. It's the same.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
I mean, I'm telling you, he's like, hey, this is
phill your divorce lawyer. Like you just told him you're
gonna shoot all these uh I think he remembers, and
he called he and they curse like crazy, dude, this
thing is f bomb crazy.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
I can't wait for you to get so much further
in this day, My gods, you can't just you can't wait.
It is then one of the most fun campaigns I
really have every played.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
I have to tell you it is all right off rip.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
I was like, oh man, because here's the other thing,
like the rope cups from because of the shooting and
the way the thing maneuvers, but it doesn't really say
or do anything, right.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
I mean, this thing is like chat natcha talking to you.
It's got jokes. It's actually very fun.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Yeah, you made a new friend there with your little
gun like that.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
I will snatch you up by your hoodie. Do not
say anything like that. You're the son of a bitch
out there.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
But I believe, I believe we do have a show title,
do we not yet?
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Made a friend with your little gun.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
I've made a couple of friends with my little gun buddy.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
It's I have one last piece of news. It was
pretty big while I was gone. The Steam Machine is
coming out. I talk about a new console every week.
It feels like I've talked about Steam, uh marketplace to
buy video games. They've had the Steam Deck, which is
the portable video game. Well, they're coming out with their
whole new console. You can use any controller you like,
(12:58):
from from Xbox PlayStation to the Steam Machine controller. You
could probably plug in a GameCube controller if you're feeling frisky.
There's two I like your concept of feeling for there's
two versions.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
This guy's crazy. He doesn't even use the real game controller. Yeah,
oh yeah, it's another from another game together. This guy's
a maniac.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
You can get the five hundred and twelve gigabyte version.
You can get the two terabyte version. It's not like
it's kind of like a PC, but in a console,
super small you can put it anywhere, super portable. Uh,
this is the first like really big console for Valve.
They have the Steam Deck, but honestly, who cares about
the Steam Deck? Oh really Yeah, it's just not something
that interests me. You could interest someone. But with all
(13:44):
these leaks coming out about this console, it has people
really excited for new Valve games. Half Life three, what's game?
That's the company that makes scene in this console? And
all that got a lot of people are really hoping
for Half Life's three and it looks like it's gonna
happen after about twenty five years. Yeah, people say this
is Half Life one and two are the greatest video
(14:05):
games ever, So this is this is pretty exciting.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
That's awesome.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
But I want Left foard Dead three. I could care
less about Half Life three. Give me the Left food
Dead three.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
What's the what's the closest game to Red Dead or
is there a new kind of game like that where
it's like you mosey through a world like that, or
is that kind of game kind of dead that Red
Dead do it so good that they're not gonna try
it again, or.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Red Dead's perfect. I don't think there's a game that
can compare to it. The closest thing I'd say is
GTA because that's the same company in the counterpart.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
But what I'm saying is, are there other concepts coming
out like that, Jimmy wants to be a digital cowboy.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
I still have to download Red Dead. I'm gonna do it.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
I'll give you the disc for it. Man.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah, yeah, that would be the game to play. Yeah,
he's got a streaming deck. He can't.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Oh yeah, you don't have one with a disc.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Don't talk to me like that, you and your little gun.
Now I'm being shamed. Don't game shame me.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
You're right, I'm sorry. That wrong, full shaming. But we need,
if we need to get you a better constant. Now
I'm kidding, No, you're.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
I don't care. Really, Look, I'm having a good time
with this one.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
RoboCop is a blast, and this high on life thing
is also showing some great, great pleasure.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
Which is I didn't know it's from the creators of
Rick and Morty, which is why it's so loud. So
thanks to the person who texted us at seven seven
zero three one.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
I'm it's bananas like Rick and Morty, just the narrative
and it looks kind of it, kind of ate bitty.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
It's not really super clean up front,
