Welcome to it. Broncos Country Tonight, but with all Bride, Dick Ferguson,
Grant Smith Rockies obviously canceled their gamedue to the weather. Do the
elements, Thank you, Mother Nature. I think they made the right call.
Are they making it up? Yes, it'll be played six' ten
on Sunday. They'll have a splitdoubleheader, so they'll play at one ten,
which was originally scheduled, and thenthis game tonight that got canceled,

(00:20):
we'll play at six' ten. There we go, program me Nope,
and then it'll be right here onKWA. But you guys get a bonus
Broncos Country Tonight here Live Tonight becauseof that, and it has been absolutely
hilarious about twenty minutes from me here. Well, we got to call.
We got to call because I wasgonna, you know, I was gonna
do the podcast and all that kindof stuff, and it was a Friday,
so I was gonna record a littleearly today and bounce. I was

(00:41):
gonna have a Friday night to myself, you know. And h our boss,
Dave Tepper called me with the newsas I was literally walking out the
door, Like it could not havebeen better timing. Because if I had
driven here at anough cent, beenhere for multiple hours just waiting to come
on for the surprise show. Right, And it's funny that I say I
would be upset because like, forme, getting upset is like nothing,

(01:04):
right, allow me to relay.I got. I got into it on
Twitter with this guy. He's you'realways wrong and you know this kind of
stuff. You know it is peoplesay that kind of stuff, and you
know, me, like, I'malways trying to be like, Okay,
I can convince this guy because likehe's obviously has no clue what he's talking
about. So let me talk tohim for ashally like an adult, and
this will become a thing. Right, we had it. We started having
a really good discussion, right,We started having like a really good direct

(01:26):
message discussion. And I was talkingabout how, you know, people in
this twent like my reputation in thistown is funny because people make up just
absolute nonsense about me, I mean, just ridiculous. Now, and you've
nixt heard some of the stuff.We've we've I've heard it, We've we've
talked about some of this stuff before, but uh, this is a new
one for me. So this person'slike yeah, I've heard. I've heard

(01:48):
some stories about you, some good, some bad. Heard you can be
violent and throw a computer out ofa third floor window when someone called you
out on Twitter and you had athirty day leave of absence from your job,
but you behaved yourself, which mightmight be the funniest thing I've ever
heard. Like, I like, you guys have given my anger like so
much credit. I am not, like, have you ever even heard me

(02:08):
yell or raise my voice? Iactually saw you throw that computer. Look,
I don't even raise my voice. But even when you're even when you
can tell that you're getting angry aboutsomething, you know, whatever circumstances at
work hold it in you. Youyou stay rational on the surface when when
I never let them see me bleedright like ever, So that was,

(02:30):
you know, it's one of thosethings like I was like, wow,
that is something that is going aroundthat apparently people throw I think I threw
a computer out of a window andgot suspended. I've never been suspended from
the job, so I don't Idon't really know what to do with that.
But well, you your anger canbe really testy. I guess,
oh yeah, I'm so so violentviolent flipped a Gatoray table. N That's

(02:53):
why Nick sits as far away aspossible. It is a constant fear of
what it is that I might doif I get you wouldn't like me.
Well, his thing, you know, Ben, is actually it's good for
him that these tables that are infront of us, these countertops, you
can't really flip them over. They'rejust kind of really you know, rounded

(03:14):
on the base of the foundation here, So you never have to worry about
me turning that over. I mayturn over my drink and push it on
the floor. You flip over thattable, I will be thoroughly impressed and
also very scared and glad I'm behindthe glass on the other side, because
that would be a feat. Yes, it definitely let me see. No,

(03:35):
I can't I can't move it.I can't move it. So everyone
is safe, right and for rightnow, Ben's anger is contained. Now.
I'm not saying that you might notbe able to pulp the bear,
just a little with a certain framingor phrasing of a tweet, that may
be possible. Do you think Ben, I get you going. I think

(03:58):
people can get me going on Twitter. But mostly it's just because like I
get bored and then I go downthe rabbit hole with people like I spent
four hours that I argue with peopleabout aliens. What. Yeah, I
don't even remember how it started.I saw some video clip or some guy
was suggesting that there was evidence. He went on Joe Rogan and was Tucker
Carlson. He went on Joe Rogan. He said that, uh, there's
evidence that aliens live underground and underwaterand they're these spiritual beings. I'm like,

(04:20):
there's no evidence of any of that. That is completely factually inaccurate.
But what did we not see lastyear that? I think it was a
congressional hearing where someone there's yeah, and there's a guy named it and he's
the guy's a fraud, the DavidG guy. Are you saying that aliens
don't exist. I'm not saying aliensdon't exist. I'm saying we have no

(04:42):
physical evidence that extraterrestrials live underground, live in the ocean, are spirit beings,
or have ever been here. Wehave no evidence for that. That
doesn't mean they don't exist, thatdoesn't mean they haven't been here. We
have no physical evidence, man,And that's my only claim and for some
reason that has been four hours ofpeople are with me, and I'm like,
yeah, we've got videos of thingswe can't explain. But that doesn't

(05:02):
mean I'm making the leap to it'saliens could be the Russians could sport.
That's what I'll say this now.I'm gonna say aliens live in the ocean,
are underground. But I am afirm believer in the fact that we

(05:26):
are not the only one in theuniverse. Right when you think about how
many galaxies there must be that thatare out there, and for me,
it's kind of reaffirm every single nightwe see this gorgeous moon and recently we
just saw like an eclipse, right, and I see things like the phenomena

(05:46):
like that that makes me believe that, no, we we cannot be the
only beings. And I think it'sit's kind of arrogant to believe that we
we are. There has to beanother life form of force the mouth here.
So the math suggests so that thereprobably is. I mean, but
I'm an evidence based person, right, The math suggests that there's probably life

(06:09):
out there, but I have noevidence to support that they've ever been here,
ever will be here, have beenhere, and certainly not that they
live underground, under the ocean,or our spirit beings or whatever. He
was high and trying to say itsounds like you're an alien, like you're
an undercover alien. Where it's like, you know, there's no no evidence
of us being here at all, yes, never will be, nothing to

(06:30):
confirm here. You're like the menin black aliens that are wearing human skin.
Somebody needs to take Grant Smith andNick Ferguson because one of my fellow
brethren, you're a plat at zalax. You're right. The only thing that
Ben didn't do, he didn't wavehis hand like he is in a Jedi
mind shot. That's all you needto do is move his hands right,

(06:50):
as though he was trying to convinceus. And maybe it is that neuralize
that they have right, it's righthere, this is It's definitely not a
cabra flash. Just right here fora minute. Thank you. Yes,
yes, so you're telling me,you're telling me the move. Have you
ever seen the movie Abyss? Yeah? Yeah, I have no James Camera

(07:11):
movie. Definitely need to check itout. That's one to add to the
list. Yes, so, soyou tell me because in that movie.
Where where did the alias come from? Ben, Where did they come from?
Well, you were in the ocean, under the at the the nuclear
sub or whatever. So who's tosay that they're not walking amongst us?
But they look just like us.Me I'm here to say that, yes,

(07:34):
we have no evidence to support thatare doing the break You're gonna grab
your from By the way, thisis this mask makes me ugly. I'm
actually not beautiful under it's this horriblefa the credit mask that I have right
here. We six six times, you know, I problems. We're gonna

(07:55):
get the sport stuff here in aminute. But I thought that was hilarious,
Like this is literally a thing.Apparently people are reddit have been saying
for years that the read that I'ma monster and that I heeart was scared
to fire me because they thought Iwould retaliate because I'm quote I'm quoting here,
because I'm a powerful guy. Sothey treaded lightly around me and dealt
with my anger issues. This stuckcome from I think I heart knows that

(08:20):
you're an alien Buck sixty And thefirst time I got the first time I
did something like that, like youdon't think like that's well when when when
David Tepper walks in, he makessure that there's equal distance between he and
Ben right, maybe the table inbetween, because stink Tepper is worried that
I'm seriously gonna wholk out and throwa computer through a window, or when

(08:41):
I don't even know where to start. This is sort right. It's funny
to me because the narratives that goaround. I'll get off this in a
second, but it's funny to methe narratives that go around because I'm like
you guys, realized that like theBroncos would have had me fired if literally
any of this stuff was true,iHeart would have fired me if literally any
of the stuff. Well, technicallyspeaking, if you were alien, I
mean, you can use your alienways, since what it is, I'm

(09:03):
using my alien mind control to stayemployed here, to stay employed as a
nighttime radio host on KILW. Nobigger plans from the alien race and influence
if you're not taking over Elon Musk'sempire or any that kind of stuff.
I need to say, employed, think about it if if if you weren't

(09:24):
alien, you wanted to fight underthe radar, right with everything that you
know in the skill set that youhave. I mean, wouldn't being a
radio host be the best undercovered jobthat you can have without revealing anything about
yourself ab secretly Clark Kent? Yes, no, no, you're not Clark.
Can't we already established this? You'rerobbing you beat me too? Yes?

(09:46):
Right, we already have your superheroesand he's a sidekick. Yes,
and you have a utility belt asyour secret weapon. Right, this is
yeah, it's conversations absolutely out thewindow. We we got a fun show
tonight. We got from DVR.What's his name? Aja? Come on?
How do you say his last name? Ben? Aj Habanaya? Am

(10:11):
I coach? Hateful? Hatefully HateleyHafeley? Okay, I feel bad now,
aj Hafeley coming on? Talk tothe abs of six thirty any better?
Deetos, I know that one fromthe gazette. Uh, it's gonna
be on talk Nuggets seven or five? Got an fl six pack a lot
of fun stuff. Rockies. Whatif their coaches posted a video from the
cockpit of the plane and now they'vegot an FAA inquiry. It's not enough.

(10:33):
It's not bad enough that the Rockiesare taking l's on the on the
Diamond. Now they're taking l's tothe weather and taking l's to the FAA.
And I did get a text fromThomas Harding who said, to be
clear, it is not the Rockiesunder investigation United Aera, correct, But
I'm just saying, like, whywould you post that video? You know
you're not supposed to be in there, right, Just save that picture for

(10:54):
yourself your own personal memories. Butyou guys know how this works. Man.
You have to capture the essence ofthe moment and you have to share
that with everyone, how many people'sand the I guess the construction of social
media that was given is given tous that we've seen individuals do certain things
and post certain things from photos tovideos that they should never post. Like

(11:18):
I mean, not to really rehashit, but remember Brett Fahr and what
he did. Yeah. Yeah,it's like it gets a point where it's
too much. Yeah. Well,we all have some experience, some more
than others, of posting things thatwe regret posting. And you know,
that's just the day and age thatwe live in. Well, speaking for
a person who was certainly posted videosin my past and tweets from like when

(11:41):
I first Twitter was first invented, where I look back on him. I'm
like, I probably could have justkept that thought to myself. But see,
that's the one thing about it,like once you press sind, it
is out there. Now. Therehave been mistakes in social media, and
then there have been some other thingsthat have been perceived of the mistakes and

(12:03):
make you scratch your head like,uh, what the hell happened with this
particular situation. But once again, like I tell my kids, it's you
have to be consciously aware of whatyou post, right, and sometimes and
hace, maybe you make a statementthat you didn't meant mean to make or

(12:24):
maybe even misspelled it because I mean, this happened to me. I misspelled
a couple of words. But thenthere's certain other things. I'm sure you
guys agree with that. It's justlike, man, you just can't come
back from that because what you putout there was what you put out there.
Yeah, there's some things you can'tcome back from, you, you
know, I mean there's yeah, there's some things you just you can put
up. But I mean, yeah, anyway, why would you post that

(12:46):
video? You know, why becauseyou wanted people to see it, even
controversyself. Just think about some ofthe things that Antonio Brown has kind of
put out there. I mean it'slike, well, it's like, what
are we doing? Why? Buthey, to each his own. We

(13:07):
talked about the Broncos uniforms on theshow last night before it got leaked on
the internet. I'm not gonna Idon't want to add to it. I
don't want to add to any ofthat because I don't want to take away
from whatever fan experience you get outof the reveal. Well, that's why
I didn't really say too much aboutit, because I want the fans to
really look and absorb the information forthemselves. It's almost like, I mean,

(13:33):
I don't want to rob them ofthat experience. They're putting the eyes
on it themselves. And I knowthe past twenty four hours people have posted
things of what they they look likethat they might not look like. So
we get a chance to really seeit for ourselves on Monday. So I'm

(13:54):
looking forward to that. Okay,Yeah, I'm we're gonna be there.
We'll both be there. Yeah, the big reveields not that we haven't aready
seen already seeing them, but we'reboth gonnah, what are you laughing?
What did I do? No,No, that I was just thinking of
what I thought of the uniforms, and I was gonna just say, you
know, maybe mock ups don't doit justice, and you know, maybe

(14:16):
you know, yeah, maybe that'llbe Maybe that'll be it. Maybe that's
what it needs. Maybe that's whatit's any Way, those those all red
Texans uniforms did look pemhough you knowduring my time with the Texans, we
we went first team to wear thoseall redmends. Play was I think it
was a Monday night and Thursday nightgame again. So Thursday night, I
believe I remember that. I rememberthe Red against the Raiders and believe it

(14:37):
or not, that's again that's thegame where I hurt my knee again and
get surgery, have to. Soyou have a bad feeling about the red
uniforms and what what? No?No, because my problem was what when
I pushed Porter, the Rode receiverfor the Raiders out of bounds, there
was an area that didn't have anylike artificial grass, It was just pavement

(15:00):
and I just kind of tripped andyou know, noticed that something was wrong
with my knee again. But Iliked the uniforms because they were different.
Most people called them ketchup bottles becauseit was like all red. But but
I like it man, and thisI like this idea of alternative uniforms.
But I think I mentioned it toyou before, my idea and I tried

(15:24):
to push this and suggest this tocertain people that I think it would have
been great to have like the teamcolor swap from the AFC to the NFC,
just just for you know, salesmarketing, you know, sol the
Broncos wear in that case, Idon't know, that's what I'm saying.
I mean, choose the color, like choose the team is because I don't

(15:46):
want to wear the rams dirty lunderuniforms. No, you don't have to
like a bone or whatever. Thewit lists look like a dirty white uniform,
you know, I'm talking about thewhite uniforms that aren't white. Yeah,
I can understand. It's kind ofit's not white. It's a dirty
right, yes, Like it's likeit's like you washed it with the color
clothes. Yeah. But but onceagain, that's the whole idea of it,
Like like you had we had thecolor what was the color rush,

(16:08):
Let's just try try to change themjust just to see, Like I would
love for the Broncos jerseys at somepoint to have a little you know,
black in them. I'm just I'mall about like having that black face mask,
the black stripes and the black chinstrap. You always want to be
a raider. That's not what Isaid. That's not what I said.

(16:30):
See this this is see I cantell you've worked with Ryan Evers for a
while. See that is something thatRyan would do. Yes, Like,
no, man, don't do thatryannything. No. I just wanted a
little you know, black in blackaccents into the uniform. I just thought
that it would just kind of makeit look more mean. That's just me.

(16:51):
Yeah, I mean, if itcould find the right look, I
guess i'd be I'd be open tothe to the look, just but I'd
have to see it. You know. In my head, I can't take
sure. I can't picture the Broncoswearing a black uniform like I just can't.
I'm not saying that it's not I'mnot saying that it's all. It
would be all black. It justwould have like black like trimming or something
like. Yes, Okay, I'dhave to see the mock up because I
I just I don't know anyway.Five six ext of text line. Somebody

(17:15):
said, I weigh a hundred andfift pounds. Who am I going to
mess up? I weigh a bucksixty, and I'm I can handle my
own I guess is probably the bestway to put that. See, I
don't know who texts that, butI would say this man, don't judge
it by cover, especially when youout and see someone and you stay.
That's that's what guy dudes about Buckfifty, I could take you. Best
advice I could ever give somebody isif you're thinking about field, if you're

(17:37):
if you're out there feeling froggy andthe other dude takes his shoes off,
run well first of all. Orif they have cauliflower here, somebody's got
a califlower, what are you doingtalking? Message you deserve, That's what
I'm saying. If somebody, Ifif somebody's sitting there pacing and then you're
about to go and then they starttaking their shoes off, run run Look
when you before you about the squareoff. Not to say that I'm advocating

(18:00):
for fisticuffs, but just in caseyou find yourself in this situation, make
sure you observe the room first,Like you said, observe cauliflower. Ear
If you're taking his shoes off. There's certain things about him. He's got
scars across his face, in hisforehead. That might not be the person
that you want to try. That'sall I'm saying. Yeah, I mean,
I just yeah, anyway, Imean, what does it matter.

(18:22):
I don't understand. I guess Idon't understand. I'm the text LII.
Patrick Mahomes is an alien. Sois Tom Brady. See what if you
found out that Michael Jordan was analien? Like space Jam Jam the three
to ZHO three says, maybe theuniforms are bad enough to get us compensatory

(18:44):
draft picks, So oh, canwe get a second rounder? I think
those deserve more. You have tomove back for that, buddy. We
gonna talk a little last we comeback Froncos Country tonight. Wecome back to
it, Broncos Country Tonight. Benjaminol Brden, Nick Ferguson, Grant Smith
here with you as we head tothe playoffs. I thought that the season,

(19:08):
the last stretch of the season forthe As wasn't as strong as they
wanted it to be. But youknow, overall, I think the playoffs
and succeeding in the playoffs back gettinghot at the right time. What are
our chances, What are the asschances of getting back to the Cup this
year? Yeah, you know theI think the chances would be a lot
higher if they weren't going up againstthe best goaltender in the NHL. So

(19:32):
it's really a series of strength onstrength, as Colorado's the highest scoring offense
in the league against the the bestgoal prevention team in the league and the
number one goaltender who's going to winthe Vesna Trophy this year. So I
think if they're able to get throughthis, you have to really like their
chances to move forward and then makea deep run. But this was really,

(19:55):
uh, this was really kind ofthe worst matchup they could have drawn.
Well, a j games like this, there are always some players who
emerge as being those outliers. Nowwho currently on the ABS squad. Do
you think could have a great seriesagainst the Jets that we're not talking about,

(20:15):
Well, I think one of theguys that they got at the deadline.
You know, obviously Casey Middlestatt needsto do well here, but I
think Sean Walker has a chance toreally be an impact player in the series,
especially with the uncertain status of SamGerard. The the way that Walker
jumps up into the play and activatesoffensively. The way that Colorado has a

(20:37):
team attacks from the blue line forwardis one of the reasons that they are
so difficult to handle and why theyscore the way that they do. And
I think with the way that SeanWalker plays, you know, he's so
aggressive and he's such a good skaterthat he's going to draw weaker matchups from
the Jets depths guys, and ifhe can get involved in the play little

(21:00):
more often, he can create offensewhere he can. He can help Colorado's
bottom six really really find a littlemore offense along the way, which you
give Nathan McKinnon an opportunity like thatyou had you had offense from your bottom
six, and I think you're reallyreally hard to beat. So Sean Walker

(21:22):
is one of the guys that I'mreally looking at for this series. I
want to go back to what you'retalking about, going up against the number
one goalie in hockey, and obviouslyyou know Winnipeg is the best in terms
of defense. It's it's interesting becausethese teams seem evenly matched, even if
they are opposites. You know,Colorado the number one scoring teams three or
two goals four. You look atWinnipeg, who's numb one against goals against,
and then you go goals against, they're both middle of the road on

(21:44):
the other statistic. Yeah, it'sa little bit better on the power play,
but a little bit worse on onpenalty minutes. In other sports,
like for instance, basketball, football, the more matchups you get against somebody,
typically a series trends to the defense. Is the same way in hockey.
You work, you know, annyoffense sort of figure you out.
Yeah, I think it's it.It kind of is the same way in

(22:07):
hockey, But I think it moretrends towards the coaching staff and which coaching
staff is paying attention to where they'resucceeding and where they're not succeeding. And
I that's an area where I havetrust in Jared Bedner to beat Ritt Bonus
in their head to head in termsof how they adjust which matchups are doing

(22:27):
well and using the home ice whenthey each have it in order to go
hunt preferable matchups. You know, putting out Nathan McKinnon against Mark Schifley is
something they should want to do becausethat's they're bad defensively and try and stay
away from Adam Lowry, who's oneof the league's best third line centers and

(22:51):
is an excellent shutdown center. Andso I think I think it's going to
come down to more than anything codethe coaching staffs and how they how they
adjust their avenues of success as theseries gets deeper. Because you are right,
they the screws get tightened a littlebit more in the best of seven.
But it's about which coaching staff isable to break down the film and

(23:12):
figure out where they can put theirteam in a better position to succeed.
Hey day, every coach, nomatter what professional league, they always look
back at previous matchups and say,Okay, well we didn't play this well
against this team. Now we're facingthem. As the ABS are facing the

(23:33):
Jets, could Jared Bennark find somekind of motivation or what could that motivation
be knowing as though they faced theJets team before but it hasn't ended up
well for the Abs. Yeah,I think the motivation is more going to
be about the end of the roadthan it is anything about what happened in
the regular season. If there's oneteam that's going to make too much of

(23:55):
the regular season. It's a teamthat's not comfortable that in this situation,
which is Winnipeg, you know, the way that the seasons have kind of
gone. Uh. You know, the Abs obviously have expectations internally, and
I think the external expectations of loweredbecause they were a disappointment at the end
of the year and the Jets aretrending up and they're they're a very favorable

(24:18):
pick in a lot of statistical modelsand in in you know, on on
the internet right now. And Ithat's an organization that historically has not handled
expectations well. So Uh. Ithink I think they will bin the entire
regular season matchups. They're almost entirelyirrelevant. Uh. And I think where

(24:38):
Jared Bedner and his organization are goingto find the motivation, it's that they
want to go and try to repeatsome recent history, and the Jets are
desperate to avoid recent history. Ifyou were, if you're a leegering Man,
how much would you say, whatwould you say? The percentages already
Avalanche can pull this series out. What would you have their percentages that win
in the Cup, well, winin the win in the Cups. Gosh,

(25:03):
it's I guess I would say liketen percent, but that's just because
it's really hard to do a lotof things have to go right for you,
and even that number is probably high. Winning this series, I would
say I give them like a fortysixty shot. I think Winnipeg is They're
They're just the perfect They're they're theThey're the perfect counterbalance to what the Avalanche

(25:29):
do at their best, and I'miffy on Colorado's ability to overcome that.
They have not been a team thathas shown as much resiliency this year as
they have in past years, andin games, their emotional maturity hasn't been
at the same level. They havelet one bad thing turn into three bad
things a little more frequently than I'mcomfortable with. So I think that the

(25:53):
the percentages I would I would sayforty sixty in favor I guess sixty forty
in favor of the Jets. Idon't feel great about this matchup. Is
Nathan McKinnon the MVP for my money, Yes, but this is also an
historic MVP race. I will understandif he doesn't get there, I will
be frustrated. I do think heultimately wins it, though Okay, I'm

(26:17):
just you know, it's one ofthose things where how much like yokichen be
a couple of years ago. Youknow, you understand if the other guy
wins it, but you still kindof feel like your guys should. Yeah,
of course, you know. Theway that Kucharov has been this year,
he is the primary reason that theTampa Bay Lightning are where they are.
But that's also true for Nathan McKinnon. And I don't know why we

(26:38):
have to pretend otherwise, just becauseMiko ranton In had one hundred points,
great in point centered Nikita Kucharov allyear and almost had a fifty goal season,
and we're supposed to act like Kucharovwas elevating scrubs, like, give
me a break. So I dothink that McKinnon, he's my guy.
The consistency, the multipoint games, the dominant that even strength, the historical

(27:00):
dominance at han home ice, allof those things kind of trend towards him
being the more valuable player to me. But it was an incredible race to
witness. Absolutely well, heyj wereally appreciate it. Aja. Hey with
you from DNV are talking to thelabs with us here on Broncos Country,
and I appreciate it, Thank you. I appreciate it absolutely. I wonder

(27:21):
if they get in Sam Gerard back. I guess I should ask him that
he was out for obviously the gameyesterday, so hopefully they get him back
soon as well. They have notbeen a team that has shown as much
resiliency this year as they have inpast years, and in games their emotional
maturity hasn't been at the same level. They have let one bad thing turn

(27:44):
into three bad things a little morefrequently than I'm comfortable with. So I
think that the percentages I would saysixty forty in favor of the Jets.
I don't feel great about this matchup. Is Nathan McKinnon the MVP for my
money? Yes, but this isalso a historic welcome back to it Broncos
Country Tonight. Benjamin ol Brighten,Nick Ferguson, Grant Smith here with you

(28:04):
got six expen text like thanks toA. J. Hayflier for joining us
there. Talk to labs here onBroncos Country tonight as they get square off
against the Wooden Pig Jets. We'vehad a couple of different texts come in.
Some people want to know by theway see you getting new uniforms,
speaking of new uniforms, and they'repimp you know what, here's what's gonna

(28:29):
turn into. You remember a coupleof years ago when the change of the
uniforms were just kind of that burston the scene with Oregon and he had
like so many different uniform that iswhat for me, college football will possibly
turn into. Yep, And thatwas That's something I think the NFL should
definitely do because I know, beforeyou wear a uniform, you have to

(28:52):
send a certain paperwork into the leagueto say, Okay, well, this
is what we're gonna do with thisuniform this day, this year, what
have you. But I want tosee more exploration as far as the jerseys.
How well can we take it?That's where I want to see what
we need to do because I havean idea, Like I want to show
people what I had come up withfor the Broncos uniforms. And I have
this idea in my head, butI don't know, not that one that
you put on an f sketch. No, okay, but I was knobs

(29:17):
like crazy. I have an idea, but I don't know, Like I'm
not a graphic designer, so Idon't know how to do that. This
was someone. That's what I'm saying. I need somebody I don't. I
need a graphic designer who's able todo that kind of stuff. Open it
up right now, five six sixN zero and I want to I want
to show you what what I wouldhave come up with for the Broncos uniforms,
because I'd like to put those outon the Twitter machine and uh,
I'll find something to some kind ofprize. I'll find something to hook you

(29:41):
up with if if you do that. But about some like some semi glossy
uniforms. I was thinking, likean eight x ten headshot. If Nick
Ferguson signed with a gold sharpie wouldjust give them this, We'll throw in
one of grants. Man, nobodywants one of me? Well you know
what I saw, MA, Ican't stacking heads shots, and nobody wanted
one. Maybe they do, butthey just want to throw darts at it.

(30:04):
That's what I used. I wasgonna say, people canna believe that
I actually did that. After arough night on the show and Ben's not
listening to me, I can seewhat. So somebody did send me a
letter once here to the station askingfor one, So I, like I
did, I had to go geta head shot and like aut and send
it told just just for that individual. Well, I guess she wanted it

(30:25):
for her nerve boyfriends, like afan or something like that. So I
want to put it like a personallesson that the story you're telling I was.
I was like, somebody wants anautograph from me? Mm, you
get that great which were already kneelfrom Ben for her boyfriend. Sounds a
little fishy to me. This soundsa little sketch. Scot apparently a big

(30:47):
fan. I'm just saying, whatcan fans only fans? I'm looking now
that there's some way that's a showcan make some money. Guys. You
guys are getting not only fans.Well, actually, you're slightly off there.
You're off by one consonant. Iactually, uh so I started.

(31:08):
I love Pringles chips, so Istarted an only can's account where I sit
here and I go over all mydifferent Pringles on onlycns dot com. Yeah,
how's that working out for you?I have zero subscribers. Not hitting
not as well as you thought itwould, not so much. We got
vide beddedeto coming up top of thehour, gonna talk a little bit about
the the Nuggets match up with theLakers. He's Nicola Jokic the MVP.

(31:33):
And what about those comments where peoplewere saying, was it Kevin Hart was
saying, it's bad for the leagueif Kevin Hart, if they give Kevin
Hart, and I mean, firstof all, they don't give MVPs.
You heard him, Well, Iguess in this case what Kevin was saying.
And if you didn't watch it,you can find on YouTube just kind
of one of those ESPN Sam Mucazhe was on with his comedic buddies and
said that the Entertaina was on withhim and he said that he doesn't think

(31:57):
that the NBA should give the MVPsin Nikola Jokich for a third time because
he felt as though it wasn't agood look for the NBA itself. And
like you said, that's not awardthat's given. That is something that's that's
earned. But I will say this, just like any Hall of Fame voting,

(32:19):
Pro Bowl voting, there is alittle bias that's associated with it.
There is and I think that thereason, like honestly, I think the
reason Nikola didn't get that other MVPwas because of that, because people didn't
want to give him three in arow, because of the message that that
sends, right, because the otherthree times in a row, back to
back to back MVP is like theydidn't want to put him in that echelon.

(32:42):
And I'm like, Buddy earned it. When you look at the and
you're right, Ben, he didearn. And when you look at the
last couple of players who win theMVP trophy, those guys are international players.
They cannot give Joker anymore. Ithink, no, no, no,
no, get a Joker anymore mvps. It's not good in the

(33:05):
NBA. Joker cannot win another vLet's just anyone just v P. That's
different. That's playing, that's that'splaying the game. But but the league
m v P. I feel likeyou're right, like they can't really do
that at this moment. And he'shaving a great year, but it doesn't
it doesn't feel like that dominated yearof the way. I would say,

(33:28):
yeah, you made a very greatman. You know what I decided with
you, Kevin, you just didit. You just sold me anybody man,
thanks for everybody else with Man Andthe reason he kept saying show of
hands is because Kevin Hart when heraises his hand, you still kind of
can't see him. He has tokind of hop up and down. He's
saying that dude needs a booster.Look, I'm just saying that. You
know, it was funny. Itwas funny Return of the King where he

(33:52):
stuck doubled for Gimli's Son of Gloinmight even a lot to make those jokes
anymore. Five six sixte year oldsexce line we got we got a bunch
of somebody said, how about Russianflag signed by Ryan comrade Edwards. Yeah,
we could, uh, we coulddo that in a lot of people
thanking you for bumping back with afroMan. We come back. We're gonna

(34:15):
have Vidie bededto talk a little bitof nuggets and then we'll get into some
Broncos talks. Some interesting stuff isgoing on with the draft, the betting
markets, all that kind of stuff. We're gonna get into all of that
here in just a little bit. You're listening to Broncos County to Night right
here on Katy A ninety four, one of them
