(01:07):
Shiloh Sanders story. Shiloh Sanders isdeclaring bankruptcy related to an assault on a
security guard in Texas out of TexasHigh School. Shiloh disclosed just shy of

(01:29):
three hundred and twenty five thousand dollarsworth of assets to his name in a
December twenty twenty three bankruptcy case relatedto an eleven point eight nine million dollar
judgment against him stemming from an assaultback when he was in high school.
This is, according to Westward defiling, sort of raises questions about his nil

(01:53):
earnings. Sanders obviously is the sonof Colorada head coach Dion Sanders and the
older brother of quarterbacks Door Sanders. The bankruptcy preceding itself stems from Sanders losing
a judgment in twenty twenty two afterallegedly assaulting a security guard as a high
schooler back in twenty fifteen. Thesuit was filed in Dallas District Court back

(02:16):
in twenty sixteen. Alleged to thesecurity guard, John Darjean, had quote
sustained severe and permanent injuries, includinga broken neck, damage to his cervical
spine, permanent neurological injuries, andirreversible incontinence. According to the twenty twenty

(02:36):
four filing in the bankruptcy proceedings,These injuries were allegedly caused when Sanders elbowed
and continued to hit Dargene during thealtercation. Sanders lost the judgment when it
went to trial in twenty twenty twobecause he failed to appear. The court
awarded Dargene an eleven point eight millioneleven point eight nine million dollar judgment against

(03:00):
Shiloh Sanders after finding out he hadcommitted assaultant battery or finding he had,
and Dargene has alleged that this judgmenthas not been paid so. Dargene,
in bankruptcy court filings, has alsoalleged Sanders has it fully represented the totality
of his assets, and what isnot clearly represented are his nil earnings,

(03:22):
which Dargene has essentially alleged are beingfunneled through a pair of LLC He's Big
twenty one LLC in s S twentyone LLC. On the surface, he
says, quote, this omission isas glaring as it is preposterous, because
it is Shiloh's very nil value andor public value that are the source of
the NonStop paid engagement and social mediaappearances. The filing says goes on to

(03:47):
say the entire underpinning of the nilconcept is the value of the individual athlete.
But Shiloh chose not only to hidethe value of the entire Nile endeavor
with unknown listings for the two fortwo of the entities that were disclosed BIG
twenty one and s S twenty oneLC, he intentionally failed to identify and
disclose his individual nil property interest anywherein the schedules. By virtue of his

(04:15):
purchase at Colorado, as the Buffshave kind of risen to off field prominence
in college football, Sanders has signedendorsement deals with a lot of big time
brands, deals with Google, hedeals with Stars, he had to deal
with Oikos for a Super Bowl ad, and then of course, the EA
Sports video game. Most of theasset value in sanders disclosure stems from his

(04:44):
Mercedes Benz audibobile and investments held ina robin Hood account. According to a
disclosure that was obtained by Westward, the total was down from an October twenty
twenty three disclosure where Sanders claimed fourhundred and seventy seven thousand an eighty one
in assets as his investment portfolio onrobin Hood apparently didn't do well late last

(05:06):
year. It's interesting to me,I mean, this case has been going
on for quite some time. Imean we're almost almost The incident itself is
almost ten years ago, so youknow, it's it's it's sort of odd

(05:26):
to me that these bankruptcy filings andall this kind of stuff is taking this
long to get there. Obviously,Shiloh Sanders and is. I mean,
we know that some of the dealsthat he has signed or significantly more than
the amount of money that he's representinghere, So I don't understand how he
thinks he's going to get away withthat or what it is that they're trying

(05:47):
to do there. But certainly thissituation bears monitoring. I mean, with
all due respect, and people cando whatever they want with their money,
but you can't flash diamond why andnew cars on social media all the time
and then turn on declare bankruptcy inthe courtroom and and say you've got no
assets. I mean, like, you know, which one is untrue?

(06:10):
Is it the flashy lifestyle that you'rethat that you're hoking on social media?
In which case, why are peoplepaying for, you know, for you
to do their stuff on social media? Or you know, is the much
more likely scenario here? In whichhe is attempting to hide assets, uh
and obviously not gonna get away withit. So that story certainly bears more

(06:33):
watching I. I. Westwood doinggood journalism on this here. If you
if you get a chance to getto the article, you know, you
can really get through and see someof the filings and the disclosures that they
have and kind of you know, make your own, make your own assessment

(06:56):
for background on all the gen Darginewas a security officer at Focus Academies in
Dallas, Texas, which is whereShiloh attended high school. The Focus Academy's
high school, Triple A Academy, and the legal documents obtained by Westward in
twenty fifteen, Shiloh allegedly attacked himwhile he was executing a disciplinary action against

(07:18):
him after he was being disruptive inclass. Dartine's complaint for non discharge of
debt, which was what was filedin the us B Bankruptcy Court for Colorado
on January twenty ninth, again recountsthat same incident, which is allegedly after
Dargeene had escorted him to in schoolsuspension for violating the school's no phone policy.

(07:41):
Shiloh called his mother using the samephone he wasn't supposed to be using.
According to court documents, one ofdion Sanders assistant coaches came to Dargene's
office where Shiloh had been brought afterviolating the no phone policy. That coach
had Dion on the phone passed thephone to Darjean. When Dion heard his
son was on the phone with Pollar, who is his ex wife since twenty

(08:03):
thirteen, he told Dargene to takethe phone from Shiloh, saying, quote,
you're my brother in christ. Ineed you to go get the phone.
As soon as you get the phonefrom him, give me a call
back, Dion allegedly told Darjeene, according to the filing, At that point,
the filing says Shiloh slammed his elbowinto Dargene's chest and continued to hit

(08:24):
Darjeene after he fell. Argene wastaken to the hospital in an ambulance.
Shiloh's legal response in bankruptcy court fileon February twenty ninth, he denies or
says he lacks sufficient knowledge of manyof the allegations relating to Darjeene's account of
the incident, including whether his fatherinstructed Dargene to take the phone. However,
Shiloh does admit the altercation between thetwo of them happened in September of
twenty fifteen, so at least acknowledgesthat an incident occurred. Darjeane filed a

(08:50):
lawsuit in Dallas District Court in twentysixteen, and then that was where he
stated he had sustained the severe permanentinjuries, the broken neck, damage to
the cervical spawn, permanent neurological injuries, and irreversible incontinence. The case went
to trial in twenty twenty two,but Shiloh didn't even appear for the trial,
so the court found Shiloh had committedassaultant battery, and the state court

(09:13):
judged he should pay Dargeene eleven pointeight nine million dollars. That amount has
not been paid. According Darjean's attorneys, Shiloh filed for bankruptcy in October of
last year, days after Darjeane hadplanned to appoint a receiver to try to
recover the money the former security guardsaid illegal documents. In his February response
to Darjene's filing, Shiloh argues thathe was acting in self defense that Dargene's

(09:37):
actions led to the incident, sothe claim for relief on his part shouldn't
stand. He didn't show up incourt to do that. Who knows.
Shiloh's attorneys have file a motion forsummary judgment On May twenty second. Darjeenan's
attorney's file the request for more timeto respond, but if Shiloh's motion is
granted, Darjeene would not be ableto collect on the Texas judgment. Darjine's

(10:00):
January filing alleged to Shiloh's financial disclosuresthus far do not represent that complete picture
of his assets that we talked aboutearlier. Sanders was a starting safety for
Colorado last year, where he willreturn again this year. Shiloh disclosed three
hundred, four hundred seventy seven dollarsto his name in an updated filing in

(10:22):
December, most of that, ofcourse, from the Mercedes and the aforementioned
Robin Hood account. That's down fromfour hundred and seventy seven thousand dollars he
listed in October, So over thecourse of three months, he's claiming to
have lost one hundred and fifty thousandplus dollars. The October twenty third disclosure

(10:43):
also included seventy five thousand dollars worthof necklaces, but that is no longer
shown on the filing in December. On October twenty eighth, the CU football
team reported its locker room was ransackedduring an away game at UCLA, so
many of the items of jewelry reportedstolen. High school students have it identified
as those who entered the locker roomwithout permission, and some of the stolen

(11:07):
items were returned to see you.In his February legal response, Shiloh's lawyers
said the alteration of his jewelry ownershipdid not indicate any wrongdoing, as Dargene's
filing had suggested. Contrary to theschedules, Shiloh has admitted acquiring vast amounts

(11:31):
of high end and expensive clothing, the filing reads. On his YouTube channel,
he states, all right, weat the Louis Vuitton store. I'm
trying to spend at least fifty thousanddollars today. Claim could be a bit
damaging as he tries to claim thathe doesn't have certain money or assets.
None of the items displayed on Silo'ssocial shallow social media were documented in the

(11:52):
disclosure. Basically the trip to LouisVuitton store. The things he said he
bought. None of that's listed inthe disclosure, Although the money he is
ostensibly gone. Shiloh's attorneys argue he'snot obligated to itemize and give value to
individual items of personal property. Courtdisclosures include the existence of two LLCs Big

(12:13):
twenty one and s S twenty oneunder Shiloh. They don't list revenue streams
for those LLCs or what his rolein them is at all. At the
meeting of creditors, Shiloh claimed topossess little to no knowledge of the formation
or workings of either LLC, exceptthat he is the sole owner of each
entity and the entities are purported vehiclesfor contracting the paid promotional appearances for his

(12:35):
NIL. Dargene's filing further objects toneglecting to mention various NIL partnerships publicly observed,
such as Instagram promotions with KFC,Turbo Tax We already talked about the
Ouiccos Yogurt Super Bowl ad. Itobjects to Shiloah not mentioning his family's KFC
ads on television, other paid partnershipsthat he's posted about on Instagram, TikTok
and YouTube. Then it goes intolanguage about how that omission is glaring and

(13:00):
preposterous because it very obviously is happening. The filing goes on to call NIL
Shiloh's most significant and highly valuable asset. Shiloh responds it meaning he did not
disclose these instances and that he isthe sole owner of Big twenty one LLC
n S S twenty one LLC,but denied improperly failure to disclose contracts with

(13:22):
those companies related to NIL, whichagain it may seem like legal jargon,
but basically it appears like he's pretendingthat anything that was, you know,
that denial related is not something hehas to his close and that's going to
probably bring about another case in courtto you know, settle the matter on
that, which has some far reachingimplications. Currently the parties are going back

(13:46):
and forth on how much information inthe case should be public record. A
protective order over personal information and testimonywas issued in Texas during the previous legal
proceedings. At that point in time, of course, he was under age.
Dargeane has further continued, according toShiloh filings, continued to violate the

(14:09):
state Court protective Order by repeatedly andcontinuously disseminating information and documents subject to the
state court protective order through social mediaplatforms and a self made documentary called prime
Time for Truth videos over an hourlong and allegedly includes information that was meant
to be covered by the Texas ProtectiveOrder. Dardean's legal team has filed the

(14:31):
response back in April, accusing Shilohand his legal team to try to violate
his free speech rights, and onMay sixteenth, bankruptcy Judge Michael Romaro had
the court clerk sealed Dargeen's January twentyninth complaint two motions related to a motion
to strike Dargene's jury demands and Shiloh'smotion for summary judgment. Westward access and

(14:52):
downloaded the then public document of hiscomplaint back in April, And of course
they sought out the lawyers UH fora statement this for each side, and
nobody was willing to UH to goon the record with a statement. But
this looks like a bit of anissue. I mean, this has been
a problem for a while. Obviously, this is going on ten years now.

(15:16):
How they don't have this thing settledand taken care of I don't know,
but this is yet another distraction thatit comes from, uh Sanders,
And I hope Deon turns ce youaround this year. Do but the the
things that just keep happening continue toweigh on it. And as I talk

(15:39):
to people behind the scenes, they'rethey're rooting for for Dean to turn CEO
around because everybody wants to see seeyou be that much better. But at
the same time, privately, thereare some misgivings. And I would say
that that, you know, amongstthe CuO alums, of which I am
not I did not go to schoolhere in Colorado that I speak to,
h there are significantly more misgivings aboutall this and about what transpired last year

(16:03):
and about what has transpired then.Uh, then I think is publicly led
on and I would suggest that DeanSanders probably needs to win this year.
You know, I don't have aset number of games, but definitely needs
to be well above five hundred inorder for this to continue. And you
know, it's it's tough when yougot this out there, especially when it's

(16:25):
your son. It'll be interesting tosee how this thing gets resolved, you
know, going forward, I thinkyou know, we don't have We don't
have all the facts on this, just what's what's publicly available. But as
it sits right now, this looksvery damaging for Shiloh Sanders and again another
embarrassment on the CU side of thehouse. We come back, we talk

(16:48):
a little Denver Broncos Liten Broncos CountryNight right here on KA Well back to
it Broncos Country Tonight. Benjamin Olibrighthere with you. Hope you guys have
a happy Memorial Day weekend. Ihope you guys you're safe and you know,
get to see all relatives and everythingelse. A reminder on Monday,
obviously we're all for Memorial Day.But you can hear the Taking It for

(17:12):
Granted podcast right you're on KOA GrantSmith's podcast. His interview with Dave Logan
will be playing. Believe He's plannedtwice that day, so you guys have
an opportunity to be able to listento that, and I encourage you too.
Grant does a great job. Youknow, he's not just the producer
of the show, you know, and the guy behind the glass doing all
this kind of stuff, but hedoes a fantastic job with with some of

(17:32):
the other things. He does somevoice work over on one of our sister
stations, kbc O, and theTaking for Granted podcast, which is really
I'm not I'm not kidding you guys. It really is one of my favorite
listens. I love listening to it. Grant has a unique style of finding,
you know, uplifting ways and waysto get people to tell their stories.
And you know, he's he's ahe's a really good interviewer and he's
got nothing but success ahead. ButI would encourage you guys to if you

(17:56):
haven't already, take a listen tothe Taking for Granted podcast, and if
you get the opportunity on Memorial Dayyou get to listen to it right here
on kwas Dave Logan. We'll sitdown with Krant talk to talk to him
about things. And Dave's got somestories and he hasn't told on the air,
So I will say that, youknow, if you think you've ever
heard everything that Dave Logan's ever said, you certainly haven't, because there'll be
there's some new stuff in that podcastas well. Talked a little bit in

(18:19):
the last segment about the Shilo Sanderssituation. Will continue to monitor that and
see where that goes. But theculums that I've talked to there, they're
starting to get a little weary ofof you know, all the all the
extras, all the all the extrastuff. And maybe the younger crowd is
okay with it, but the oldercrowd. And when I say older crowd,

(18:41):
I mean people over thirty. Idon't necessarily mean old. I just
mean, you know, people whoare more than a few years detached from
having graduated from CU. The peoplewho are over thirty, and you know,
mostly in their their late thirties, early forties and on older are getting
a little weary. So something tokind of keep your eye on with all
this kind of stuff and and kindof see where it goes. Uh.
Broncos had a chance to get outto OTAs yesterday. Uh and kind of

(19:04):
observe a little bit. And asI tell everybody, I warn everybody a
caution everybody every year. It's it'sOTA's it's one practice. It's a very
limited sample size. Uh, don'tfreak out. I you know, I
don't think that particularly any quarterback youknow, look like a world beater,

(19:25):
but none of them look like atrain wreck either, So I I you
know, whatever you see whatever yousee out of that. I've seen stuff
online. Look Bonnicks through some throughballs that were behind receivers. He doesn't
have the timing down with guys whohave NFL speed at wide receiver, and
that's to be expected. At thispoint, He'll get there. You know,

(19:47):
he's throwing the guys he's unfamiliar with, and you know, in his
third or fourth practice, like Iunderstand, I have to tell you that,
hey, he was throwing the ballsbehind them. But at the same
time, like, that'll probably getfixed over a couple of the next couple
of weeks, So I don't thinkthat that's anything to worry about. Zach
Wilson, it was interesting, veryhigh variance. You know, I said,

(20:07):
nobody was a train wreck. Therewere moments where he was kind of
like what was that? And thenthere were moments like, oh, what
was that? And you know he'sgot that. If you could find a
way to get that part and gethim consistent with that, you might have
something there. So I wouldn't betoo down on clown and Zach Wilson or
any of that kind of stuff atthis point either. And then there was
Jared Stitt, who I thought lookedthe best of the three at this point,
which he should. He's got ayear in the offense, he knows

(20:30):
most of these guys for a year, and he's a veteran who's been around
a while. So you know,I thought Stidham looked just fine. You
know, I affectionately nick named himJared stid Water. That wasn't a shot
at him or anything like that.It just was really more like, hey,
this was the steady Stiddy, youknow kind of thing. You know,
as far as that goes. Stidhamgot a chance to talk to the

(20:52):
medium all the quarterbacks did. Andthe Broncos while they're splitting quarterback reps three
ways right now, eventually they'll haveto pick somebody to run the offense.
Stidham was the choice the final twoweeks of last year. Obviously, when
they sat rush down, he getscharges of raiders. The Broncos, of
course, drafted bo Nicks at twelve. We've talked about that. They traded

(21:15):
for Zach Wilson. You know, you might view those the ads there as
a sign that he wouldn't be theguy, but I'm you know, he's
got more experience in the league. He's certainly the you know, the veterans,
so I wouldn't write him off.You know. He came out and
said, when asked the question aboutit, I've dealt with this before when
I was in New England with MacJones. It's a business. I totally

(21:37):
understand it. But at the sametime, I'm here to compete. I'm
not just gonna sit down and letsomeone else walk in here and take the
role. I'm gonna work my buttoff to get the job, and I'm
super excited about it. You know, Sean Payton didn't sound like he was
in any hurry to change the currentapproach and you know, whittle it down
or any of that. So they'regonna get chances, and they gonna get
chances on into you know, intotraining camp, and I think that's I

(22:00):
think that's a good thing. Youknow. I think there are people who
I want them to whittle it downright now and give whoever it is all
the reps. But we're in OTAs, we're not even training camp yet.
You know, if you get intoweek two in training camp and they we're
still doing this, that might bea problem. But we're we're early in
the process right now, and soI think it really is just about seeing

(22:22):
who's comfortable with the offense, andwho's growing, who's stagnating, who's gatting
it, who's not what they're notgetting, what they're good at, what
they're not good at, and andkind of you know, building around that.
At this point, this is thefeel it out period. This isn't
the have it perfected period. Sofor all those stories out there and all
the people who are complain, ohthey look terrible or he looked great or
this, this is way way tooearly to put any kind of stock in

(22:45):
any of that at this juncture. So I wouldn't be I wouldn't be too
worried about it, to upset,to concerned. You know, let let
these young guys grow, and letlet Jared Steadham kind of kind of do
his thing, and we'll, we'llthe situation will sort itself out here soon
enough. We'll we'll know, Imean, we'll we'll know fairly quickly.
And I, you know, Iexpect that they want Bonix to take the

(23:06):
job. And I didn't see anythingthat suggested that he wouldn't. But you
know, let's let's give a time, let's be patient, let's not heap
pressure on uh somebody, and andand heap pressure on the idea that they
need to get him out there quickerthan when he's ready. That that's that
that's a detriment. That's not goodfor anybody. So, you know,
just something I happen to notice onsocial media. I don't know if you

(23:30):
guys saw this story out of theEagles, Marcus Mariota will be the first
quarterback in NFL history to wear thenumber is zero. Not that I actually
care about whores, what numbers,or any of that kind of stuff.
I always think that stuff's kind offunny. But he today decided to explain

(23:55):
why he chose that number, saying, quote to zero is something for me
that is a reminder. I mean, year ten, people don't think I
can do it anymore. He's justkind of a reminder every day if nobody
really gives you a chance, andit's cool to be able to remind yourself.
Not really clear to me. Howsthere at least a motivation, But
if it works for him, sobe it. Mariot, of course,
was the second overall pick in twentyfifteen, behind James Winston. Spent five

(24:18):
years in Tennessee, two with theRaiders, one with the Falcons, one
with the Eagles. He was benchedby the Titans during his final year there
in the game here in Denver againstthe Broncos, where he's replaced by Ryan
Tannehill. He's a backup for bothseasons with the Raiders, started thirteen games
to the Falcons in twenty twenty twobefore returning to a backup role last year

(24:41):
in Philly. And we'll be thebackup to Jaydon Daniels with the Commanders there
in Washington. I don't really likeI've never carried about number or anything like
that. That is, and heis the first, like he is the
first quarterback to ever wear the numberzero. So that's you know, that's
I guess of note or well ofsome significance, you know, as far

(25:03):
as that kind of stuff, Asfar as that kind of stuff goes.
Aaron Rodgers has come out lately, and you know, he was backing up
his guy Nathaniel Hackett. Rogers saidthat, you know, he said that
if you don't trust Hackett, trustme, because I trust Hackett. So

(25:27):
I was like, well, allright, then he likes his working relationship
with Nathaniel Hackett. And that's Iguess really old it matters. But he
also met with reporters this week aboutthe possibility of back when the vice presidential
running mate thing was ever a realthing, and Rogers said he had two

(25:48):
options retired ron or keep playing anddon't He talked with Adam Shine of Serious
XFL, Serious XM NFL Radio. Now he's, of course shifted that narrative,
possibly because he realized that his quoteon Tuesday created the impression that he
was thinking about leaving the Jets highand dry. So Rogers said, I

(26:08):
think I was just trying to clearthat story up. It was never like
playing quarterback and also campaigning at thesame time. Those are the only two
options. One of the two optionswas not to play and go down the
route of thinking about being the vicepresidential candidate. Now obviously I was on
the short list for him. Theother option was the option that, since
September twelfth was the only one inmy mind that I was playing football.

(26:29):
So you know, I had tolisten to Bobby because I respect him,
I appreciate his friendship, But theentire time since September twelfth, my focus
had been playing. In the end, I was always playing. If that
was the case, if he wasnever gonna run I was going to play
why didn't he say so? Youknow, ever, why didn't tell the
Jets that? And the truth mightbe that the truth might be Aaron Rodgers
was never going to run for vicepresident. I've personally speculated that the entire

(26:56):
story, that entire thing was leakedand Rogers went along with it in an
effort to get free publicity for uh, for RFK, who has no money
and is very obviously not going toeven come close to winning the presidency.
But free media and free publicity likethat, does you know this certainly does
help? So you know, that'sthat's always been my contention with what happened

(27:17):
with all that. I don't Imean, I don't think he wants the
scrutiny that goes along with seeking office. But you know, who knows that
whole situation was. It was odd. I pulled up the quote actually for
the Hackett stuff. By the way, he said, you should trust me,
and I trust Nathaniel, So tome, that's the end of the
story. Rogers said, There's beena lot of bs that's been set out

(27:41):
there. A lot of things havegone on last couple of years. He's
dealt with. I think he's handledprofessionally. At the end of the day,
I think you gotta trust his andmy working relationship with the conversations we
have. You gotta trust the staff. That was Rogers talking about his full
confidence in head coach Robert Sala inoffensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. Adam Scheine asked
Rogers why Jets fans should trust thatHackett is able to run the offense effectively
after failing to do so after rogersinjury last season. Rogers simply said that

(28:06):
the answer to that question starts withhis presence on the field. So Rogers
went on to say that their partnershiphad been fruitful in the past, it's
going to be fruitful again, andof course the Jets have put all their
chips on that, so you know, we'll see how that goes. I
will say that I do know theJets were looking at it trying to hire
kind of a senior advisor kind ofthing. They weren't looking to replace hack
at as OC like some of thosereports out there, but they were looking

(28:27):
at trying to get like a senioradvisor in there, kind of sort of
similar to what the Broncos did whenthey brought in clock management guy from the
Ravens and his name, I'm blanketon it right now, Jerry God,
I'm drawn a black anyway, whenthey when they brought him in and he

(28:48):
wound up ended up becoming the interimcoach later on, but they wanted something
like that, like a senior advisorto make sure things didn't, you know,
sort of slip through the cracks. And Robert Salah has said that he's
going to take a larger interest inthe all offense this year, so that's,
you know, that's certainly something thatthat that bears watching as far as
that goes, I think, youknow, it's it's sort of fascinating to

(29:14):
me that Hackett has now been ahead coach and an offensive coordinator and they
felt like they've had to have somebodylooking over his shoulders for all of that.
It's it's fascinating to me, like, how do you get so far
in coaching and then all of asudden teams realize they've got to have somebody

(29:37):
there to keep an eye on you, you know, And and what is
it that that that Nathaniel Hackett doeswell versus what it is that teams feel
the need that they continue to feelthe need that they need to get somebody
in there to keep an eye onhim, So, you know, I
think I think at the end ofthe day that you sort of have to

(29:59):
keep your eye on that situation andsee, you know, in the middle
of the season kind of how thingsare going in New York, where things
are at, and we'll kind ofget a better pulse of where the Nathaniel
Hackett and that team are at.Obviously, the Broncos played the Jets early
on. I think it's a fourthgame of the season, after they play

(30:23):
Seattle to start the season home atPittsburgh, and then an East Coast road
trip with Tampa and New York, which, by the way, when the
schedule was released, I said Ihad some sourcing that said they were considering
staying out there on the East coast. That has since been confirmed, and
I'm ninety nine percent sure they're goingto do that. Possibly stay out there
in West Virginia in the in theweekend between the Buccketeers and Jets games over

(30:45):
there on the East Coast, makesvery little sense to come back fly away
back here flower out there. Youjust you know, you lose travel time
was practice time, it was resttime, so you know, I think
that the team is working on tryingto figure something out to stay out,
to stay out there. I talkeda little bit earlier about trading camp practices
and OTAs and all that and hownot to be worried at the first practice,

(31:11):
and Chicago Bears fans should probably takethat advice to heart as well that
there are growing pains throughout the process. Thursday's practice, wide receiver DJ Moore
up in Chicago called it a frustratingday as the Bears defense consistently got the
better of first overall picked Caleb Williamsin the offense. Veteran safety Kevin Byers

(31:32):
said that's what's supposed to look likewhen a rookie quarterback faces a talented defense,
and sheared some advice he gave Williamsafter practice wrapped up, saying,
quote, I said something to himat the end of practice to keep it
going. We're going to keep makingyou better. That's via Courdning cronin the
ESPN and not necessarily saying you hada terrible day, but days like this
are going to make you better.Buyer said he liked that. Williams said,
of course, I will have betterdays in the future. No,

(31:53):
all the remembering may practices, youknow, in August anyway, But that
was the thing. I mean,we had people that were concerned with the
Broncos practice. Meanwhile, the numberone overall pick the guy the Bears say
was a sure fire home run guy. You know. I I think that

(32:20):
end of the day, you haveto we've got to learn more patients than
what we have. And that's sortof been uh uh that that is a
problem throughout sports and fans don't tendto be noted for their their overwhelming patients.
But I feel like that that wereally have lost a lot of that,
you know, we just we justdon't have patients anymore. I think

(32:44):
that if Bill Walsh was the headcoach in the modern era, he wouldn't
have you know, he would havebeen fired before he had the opportunity,
I mean a couple of years. It took him to succeed with the Niners.
You know, there used to belong term plans for this. Uh.
He used to you know, heused to let somebody build, you
know, build the thing the waythey want to build. We don't have
that anymore. You know, it'sit's the instant success or. We got

(33:04):
to blow it up and start over. And you know, and I mean,
you get fans in Chicago panicking afterone OTA practice, not even full
pads, it's an OTA practice, and they're they're in full meltdown and panic
modes. So you know, Idon't know. I don't, I truly
don't know what the future holds asfar as the quarterbacks, either in Chicago

(33:27):
or here in Denver. But Ido know that if we don't have patients
and allow this thing to unfold, and I you know, to be fair,
I've been a guy who's been criticalof Shampagne, very critical Champagne,
but you have to let give himtime to get his hand picked guy to
where it needs to go. Andyou know, we'll be able to tell
after a while whether or not that'sworking. But uh, you know,

(33:49):
if you, if you, yougot to have patience with it to let
him build it his way. Andthat's that's the thing I've been critical of
Sean Payton because you know, well, those reasons we don't even to go
over anymore. But I do wantto give him the runway to be able
to implement his vision. You know, he got rid of the previous quarterback,
He's got his guy. Now,okay, let's give him the runway

(34:09):
to implement his vision and then makethat judgment not doing it after after one
ota practice. I mean, it'sit's absurd, it's ridiculous. So I
appreciate you guys being along the ride. Obviously, here a Broncos Country and
