Welcome to it, Broncos Country Tonight. Benjamin Olbright here with you, Grant
Smith as well. Short show postRockies edition. Always appreciate you guys sticking
around after the Rockies games and listento us. We genuinely appreciated. Five
six six nine zero is the textline. You guys want to get involved
in the conversation. A little bitof good news coming out yesterday. Our

(00:23):
good friends over at DNVR had CourtlandSutton on their program and he was there
to talk up his baseball event andall that kind of stuff. But he
did tell them that he will behere next week for mandatory Mini camp.
So anybody who had worried about aCourtland Sutton hold out beyond what it was,

(00:45):
that he's sort of kind of donealready. Courtland himself has said direct
from his mouth that he will behere for mandatory Mini camp, and we
can finally put that question, Iguess, sort of behind us. Courtland
joins a very ill say, crowdedBroncos suddenly crowded Broncos wide receiver room.

(01:14):
He Josh Reynolds, and Marvin Mimslisted in the de facto depth chart at
the top with with Tim Patrick DevonBlay and Troy Franklin. Lay and Franklin,
of course, both rookies just recentlydrafted on the second. And then
you've got little Jordan Humphrey. Theybrought back Jaylen, Virgil, Brandon Johnson,
Felt, dor Set, David Sills, Michael Bandy. There are a

(01:36):
lot of bodies all of a suddenin this wide receiver room. And when
you're doing roster construction, you havelimits, right, you can only keep
a certain number. There's not ahard limit in terms of you can only
keep a certain number of receivers, but there is a soft limit because you've
got to be able to keep enoughof everything in order to make it work.
Now, modern practice squads do makethat a lot easier. It does

(02:00):
make it a lot easier to youknow, kind of stash guys on the
practice squad and go from there. But in terms of roster construction, you
generally keep six receivers, sometimes seven, sometimes five, but generally six is
kind of the you know, thenumber of receivers that that you sort of
keep on a on a roster, and that that suggests that there's gonna be

(02:20):
some some odd people out. Now, maybe some of these guys are practice
squad guys, Bandy Sills or setthose feel like practice squad type guys.
But you got nine guys, twelveguys competing for six spots, and nine
of those feel like realistic contenders forthose six spots. And of course there'll
be injuries, attrician and all that, but at the end of the day,
it feels like that there are toomany bodies for this room and it's

(02:45):
going to be interesting to see ifCourtland does indeed stick around or if he's
Deelts or whatever, you know, gets done there. But him being here
from any camp, I think isa good thing. Definitely gives Bonix,
Jared Stidham, Zach Wilson the opportunityto, you know, to throw with
having him out there and showcase theirwares at their best. So, you
know, there's there's certainly that Iwith Courtland. You know, we've talked

(03:07):
about it quite a bit on theshow. I never felt like there was
a bad guy in that situation. You know, Cortland kind of had the
big year a year before the contractyear. As it were, He's only
got two million after this year andguaranteed money. He knows that this season
is probably going to be a rookiethrowing in the ball in bow Nicks,
and that production is probably going tobe less for him than it was under

(03:30):
Russell Wilson back under center. So, you know, Courtland says is saying,
hey, look, you know,I'm not a spring chicken. I
would like to get paid. Youknow, he's Courtland's twenty eight years old.
It's gonna be twenty nine this year. So he'd like to get paid

(03:51):
that one more big money contract.I's going to say the last contract to
Courtland gets, but probably the lastbig money contract that Courtland Sutton gets.
He'd like to get onto that whilethe getting's good and you know, and
get paid. Meanwhile, the Broncosare like, well, hey, we
just paid you a couple of yearsago. We really got sort of one
year out of productivity out of youbecause of you know, the rusts and

(04:12):
the Hackett situation, all that kindof stuff. This past year. We
expect you to be here and anddo the things you need to do and
maybe we can have those conversations. And so I don't feel like there's a
bad guy here. This is thebusiness of football. Side. Court you
know, decided he's not going tocome to voluntary stuff because of that,
Okay, fair, But when themandatory MIDI camp stuff came up, I

(04:32):
mean, you know, he decidedto show back up. So I don't
think that there is a bad guyin this situation. I just think that
at the end of the day,it's Courtland knows that he's got to look
out for his own bottom line. The Broncos have a bottom line and are
in a crowded wide receiver room, and I don't think either side really has

(04:53):
any any leverage to make anything happen. So we'll see, and we'll see
if Courtland sticks around for the season. Maybe you know, if he gets
dealt for draft pick or something, and you know, maybe he winds up
in Pittsburgh again. There's you know, there are there are options kind of
with all this, but it'll begood to have him back for the you
know, for the kind of themandatory stuff. I think that's big.

(05:16):
It's big for him too. Ithink that swings the pr battle squarely into
his favor. You know, hemade his statement, he held out the
the the non mandatory stuff. He'sclearly elucidated what is what it is that
he wants and what it is thatthat he feels like he's lacking right now,
and I think the court of publicopinion, I think that sort of

(05:43):
swings back in his favor and thatwill allow for him to maybe capitalize on
that sentiment. So five six sixnine zero, he is the text line
looking forward to hearing from you, guys. You don't get a text back
from me. I apologize. Iwill acknowledge it on the air. I've

(06:05):
been having some issues, like Isaid, with the text line lately,
so I do apologize. I didwant to talk about this, uh well,
the larger thing we talked about inthe show misinformation that gets out there.
But I did want to talk aboutmisinformation that that that got spread because

(06:26):
a lot of these these aggregator accounts, they don't check anything. They just
see something when they post it andthey and they roll with it, and
then it gets retweeted and put intothe public domain. And a lot of
times some of the stuff they putout there isn't true. You know.
We talked about these articles out theresaying that the Broncos are one of the
eleven teams that opted out of PrideWeek. No team had opted out of
Pride Week at all, and theBroncos had put out a tweet was it

(06:50):
two days ago? But it's justblatant misinformation. Whatever your belief is on
any of that, it's just blatantmisinformation. And and so you know that
it's something that people have to dealwith. Packers running back former Raiders running
back Josh Jacobs has apologized for spreadingmisinformation about the NFL's preparations for the Week

(07:15):
one Packers Eagles game down in Brazil. Jacobs had said on I believe it
was Chris Long's podcast that players werenot supposed to wear green while they're in
Brazil as a safety precaution because itis a color associated with violent gangs.
The NFL has said that this isinaccurate, and Jacobs has acknowledged as much.

(07:40):
Jacob's got on Instagram he said, quote, Damn, I was misinformed.
Sorry, Brazilsias soon and I don'tknow where this originated, but the
root of the misinformation is from thegame's venue, whether where they're playing this

(08:03):
game down in Brazil, which isArina Corinthians and Sal Paolo. The home
soccer team Corinthians tells its players notto wear the color green, but only
because it's worn by their rival, which is Paulmierras. It has nothing to
do with American football teams playing inthe stadium. And obviously you've got two

(08:26):
teams that the colors are green andthe Packers and the Eagles. So that's
you know, that's that's whatever. But where are these like this misinformation stuff
that gets started and people just justsend it along, they just tweet it
or reposted, and and then peoplebelieve it and and you know, the
saying that you know, a liegets halfway around the world before the truth
gets its shoes on. It's justsomething that's kind of, uh, that

(08:48):
we kind of noticed just a tonof lately, is a lot of these
stories that that aren't stories that arecompletely made up, completely fabricated, continue
to circulate, and the retraction barelygets noticed, or the correction, as
it were, barely gets noticed. And so for me, because I end

(09:09):
up spending a lot of time, you know, trying to swat these things
down, it gets a little frustrating. You know, we have a we
have an account here in Denver thatdoes some of that. That's it is
it Broncos three sixty five or whateveror Daily Broncos, whatever it is,
And it's it's just notorious for parrotingabsolute malarchy that you know, in an

(09:33):
attempt to get views. And theviews matter, right, The reason the
views matter on Twitter is because youget paid off of them, if you
got one of those blue checks andyou're doing the ad revenue sharing thing.
The more views you get, themore you get paid. Period. So
they're incentivized to spread false information andnot retract it. And and that's what's
happening. We're starting to see thatwith a lot of these aggregator accounts,

(09:56):
with these you know, with theseaccounts that purport to coalate all the news
and stuff like that. I willsay that of the aggregators Pro Football Talk
and my Sports Update, I thinkthose two accounts on Twitter do a pretty
good job. And then there areaccounts like NFL RUMs or MMLL Football NFL

(10:16):
Notify that are absolute garbage, Imean, just garbage. They'll say anything
to try to get views. Theydon't take stuff down, and they get
it wrong. They and they don'tcare if they get it wrong as long
as they get the views. They'rejust trying to you know, they're just
trying to make money off of you. So again, be judicious, be

(10:37):
selective and you know what it isthat you share, make sure you know
it to be truth before before sendingit on. There was some big news
out of Kansas City the other day. Is the Chiefs canceled practice and media
availability Thursday due to a medical emergency. Chiefs defensive lineman BJ Thompson was taken

(11:05):
to a hospital. He suffered aseizure and went into cardiac arrest during a
meeting at the team's facility. Hewas in stable but unconscious. It was
a stable condition but unconscious. Yesterday, Chris Turnage, who is the agent
for BJ Thompson, said via TomPelosero that he is now awake and responsive

(11:31):
and the prognosis for his full recoveryis also said to be good. Thompson
was a fifth round pick last year. He only appeared in one game in
his rookie season. But yeah,I mean, you know, even though
the Chiefs are somewhat hated here asrivals, you never wish health issues on
anyone, and so we wish BJThompson a speedy and full recovery. And

(11:54):
that's a that's a great update thathe's awake and responsive and the prognosis for
his recovery is is said to begood, big story that I wanted to
get into, and I've been savingthis one for a minute. Is this
story about Xavian Howard. I don'tknow if you guys have seen this one.

(12:15):
Howard previously been a corner with theDolphins. He's a free agent right
now, and he is being suedby an ex girlfriend and the son of
another ex girlfriend for what amounts tosharing revenge porn. CBS Down in Miami

(12:41):
was reported the court document show thatXavian Howard, who was released by the
Dolphins earlier this offseason, is accusedof circulating sexually explicit videos of the first
ex girlfriend. The woman's knows JaneDoe in the court documents, and those
actions, according to the court documents, left left her feeling utterly humiliated.

(13:03):
The son of the other ex girlfriend, who's known as John Doe in these
and is a minor, accuses Howardof getting his mother pregnant, demanding she
get an abortion, and when sherefused, he allegedly texted sexually explicit material
of her to her son, whowas a minor. Howard does not responded

(13:30):
to requests for a comment. Imean, this is this is bizarre.
You got the first girl who saysthat he was sharing, you know,
stuff that she'd sent him without herpermission, which is a crime. Guys,
it's as a crime, don't youknow when you get out of a

(13:52):
relationship to lead all that stuff,it's it's a crime. The other the
son of the second ex girlfriend.Though this this is just to me,
I can't even wrap my head aroundit. I can't even wrap my head
around the mentality that it would taketo do this. So he's listed as
John Doe and he's the son ofthe other woman who hours was sexually involved

(14:13):
with, and after getting her pregnant, he demanded that she get an abortion
and she refused. So the claimthere is that he went on the quote
war path against her and among otherforms of revenge, just in the only
thing he did. This is justprobably the most salacious part toward the pregnant

(14:35):
woman, texted sexually explicit material ofher to her son, who was underage
at the time of the incident.I mean, I can't even begin to
wrap my head around the thought processthat would go behind that. If convicted,

(14:58):
he could be charged with vasion ofprivacy by public disclosure of private facts,
intentional affliction of emotional distress and injunctiverelief, intrusion of privacy, cybersexual
arrestment. You know, there's allkinds of all kinds of stuff. The
original Jane Dell, the first plaintiff, was first contacted by Howard all the
way back in twenty sixteen, afterhe began messaging her over Instagram. At

(15:18):
the beginning of twenty twenty two,the two began dating before calling it quits
in July of that year. Duringthe course of that relationship, they engaged
in sexual relations. Around September twentyfifth, she received an Instagram message from
another woman who claimed she had severalsexually explicit videos that Howard had sent her

(15:39):
of him having sex with various women, informing Jane Doe that she might have
been among them, and that theother woman shared videos of a third woman
two. Jane then asked the womanfor a number and asked to send the
videos as she could see them, which she did on that day. According
to the court documents, multiple textshowed that the videos that Howard allegedly shared,
which included two videos of Jane Doenumber one having sex with Howard and

(16:02):
the rest of videos showing other womenAfter receiving and seeing the videos, she
contacted Howard to find out why heshared them, and he said he shared
the videos to make her mad becauseshe did not want to have sex with
him. That's what the court document'salleged is a quote. According to the
documents, he had recorded her withher knowledge on one occasion, but the

(16:26):
other video she didn't even know shewas being recorded, So that presents a
whole other set of problems. Iwant to get into this for just a
second on the other side, becausethis story is fascinating to me, absolutely
disgusting, and I can't I can'twrap my head around it. Maybe you
guys can help me with this.Five six six nine zeros The text line
you listen to Broncos Country a nightright here on KOA State fifty Am ninety

(16:47):
four one FM News Talk Sports.Welcome back to it, Broncos Country tonight,
Benjamin alright, Grant Smith here withyou. Five six six nine zero
is the text line. In thelast segment, we had mentioned that thanks
to our friends at DNVR, weknow Courland Sutton is coming back from mandatory
mini camp next week and had gotteninto some of these other big stories of
the day the biggest one for mebeing this bizarre Xavian Howard story. Howard,

(17:14):
of course, the former corner forthe Miami Dolphins, for currently a
free agent and is being accused bymultiple plaintiffs of, among other things,
emotional distress and revenge porn, includingsending sexually explicit videos and photographs of a
woman who refused to get an abortionto her then minor son. So we'll

(17:36):
get into that here in just asecond. I was talking a little bit
about the first victim, Jane No. Number one, and how he had
recorded with her permission on one occasion, but the second occasion she did not.
She was not aware that she wasbeing recorded. Around October seventh of
twenty twenty two, her attorney saida cease and desist letter to Howard,

(17:56):
and then on February eighth, attemptedto call He attempted to call. Howard
attempted to call Jane Doe, butshe did not answer. On April tenth
of twenty twenty three, Jane Doewas contacted again by another woman by cell
phone, who sent her several othersexually explicit photographs and videos of naked women
that Howard had recently shared. Onceagain, to make her mad because she

(18:18):
would not have sex with him.She was in a number of those photos.
Around August twenty first. Zavi andHoward then filed a motion to dismiss
the case on grounds that Jane Doehad a felony arrest record. The court
denied his motion. Meanwhile, Xaviand Howard had received the cell phone numbers

(18:40):
of another woman's children, including thewoman's son named in the lawsuit as John
Doe, because she would text himthrough her kid's phones if her own battery
died. She would often announce toHoward via voice or text that their phone
had died and she was using oneof her children's phone to talk to him,

(19:00):
and she would tell him when tostop using the kid's numbers and when
she was able to return to usingher own phone. Before returning her phone
because several people asked me about this, Before returning to her own phone,
the mother would delete the text betweenher and Howard on her kid's phones so
the kids would never see these messages. As a result, Howard knew John

(19:22):
Doe, her minor son's number. That's how he knew her number, and
on one occasion when Xavian Howard andJohn Doe's mother were fighting, he texted
sexually explicit material photos and videos ofher to her son, and that would
be September nineteenth of twenty twenty two, Corn Court documents that made the son

(19:44):
a minor when this happened. Althoughthe mother deleted the content from her son's
phone, John Doe was able tosee it when he logged into his iCloud
account when he signed in from afriend's phone after he was grounded from using
his own, which is how heHoward, of course, spent eight season
was with the Miami Dolphins. He'sdrafted in the second round twenty sixteen in

(20:07):
the NFL Draft. Four time ProBowl or, two time All Pro lea
League interceptions twice. Miami released himback in February. He had three years
still remaining on a five year, ninety million dollar deal. Off the field,
he was sued back in twenty twentytwo for allegedly giving a woman a
sexually transmitted disease as well. Ican't even begin to fathom or wrap my

(20:32):
head around what would possess someone tosend material of that nature to someone's son
because they got you, because you'vegot them pregnant, and they refuse to
get an abortion, Like I mean, it's just every word in that sentence
continues to get more and more mindblowing to me that somebody has the capacity

(20:56):
for that in them. I mean, it's just I can't even begin to
to fathom that. And it seemslike the text lot degrees is a lot
of you are quite quite shocked bythat. I mean, I, in
my life, the angriest I've been, and you know, I've hit people
lying about me for years. Youcan get on the internet read things people

(21:18):
lie about me all the time. You know. It's I don't even know
what to do with that. Likein the angriest I've ever been, that's
not been something that I would hasever even had ever even considered doing.
I mean, at what point areyou trying to traumatize somebody's kids? Like
I just I don't know. Thisone stuck with me all day to day

(21:41):
because I just can't. I can'tseem to I don't know, I can't
seem to wrap my head around it. Normally I can, whether I agree
with something or not, I canwrap my head around the thought process.
You know, I'm like, Okay, they were angry, they did this,
but anger doesn't begin to facilitate that. I like what seeing person.
That's the direction that they the conclusionthat they arrive at. What I need

(22:06):
to do is you know, Idon't I mean, I just I don't
know. I don't understand it.I think it's disgusting XAVI. And Howard's
a free agent with this stuff outthere, He's very unlikely to be signed
by anybody. Certainly, I don'tthink that his tape has looked particularly good
the last last little bit, So, I mean, this is interesting and

(22:30):
I'll have to keep an eye onit, But yeah, how I can't
even imagine how you arrive at thatconclusion. The other Dolphins corner Jalen Ramsey,
passed on a chance to compare newdefensive coordinator Anthony Weaver to last year's
coordinator former Broncos head coach Vic Fangio, but he said a little bit on

(22:55):
it. Earlier in the year,Ramsey wrote on social media that Fanji didn't
make if Fangio didn't make use ofhis full skill set by leaving him at
the right corner for the vast majorityof snaps, and Weaver suggested that that
would change in his first season onthe job. While speaking to reporters this
week. Ramsey said he's not goingto compare them, but Weaver puts guys
in a position to do really goodthings, and his other comments have made

(23:18):
it clearly prefers being used a varietyof ways and being able to move around.
Ramsey said, those are things thatI've done throughout my whole career.
Besides last year. Actually it wasthe only time I didn't follow and the
only only stayed on one side ofthe field. So last year was kind
of a different year for me.Rather than this being different, this is
back to what I like to do, back where I thrive and made an
impact, having a lot of funplaying a game. Ramsey's coming off a

(23:42):
knee injury last year, and youknow, of course good health could help
contribute as well. A lot ofplayers down there in Miami have had big
problems with VIC. Fangio been quitevocal about the VIC fan in his time
there in Miami and how how poorlythey felt that went. Fangio, of

(24:07):
course, is in Philadelphia now alongwith Kellen Moore as the new offensive defensive
coordinators there under Nick Sirianni. Butit's it's it's interesting to me because the
complaints that the Dolphins fans had sortof echo the complaints that Broncos players had

(24:30):
here did Fangio had a very youknow, he had his system. That
was the way they were doing things, and that was that. And you
know that system, which for therecord, became the Vogue system in the
NFL the last half decade really andkind of still is, even though it's
sort of being phased out now,is because what Michael McDonald was running in

(24:52):
Baltimore is sort of sort of takinghold get system was the Vogue system.
But but Fangio had such a rigidityto it that often players who felt like
they flourished doing other things felt likethey weren't maximized at times. You know,
von Miller was being dropped back insome obvious passing situations sometimes, and

(25:15):
that's okay, I get it,every once in a while, you're throwing
a wrinkle at there, whatever. But he wasn't effective when he did that,
and it took him out of whathe was effective at, which was
rushing the passer. I think everyoneremembers the ill fated play where I think
he was in Man in the Brownsgame where the receiver just ran across or
and ran away from him. SoI mean, you know, we certainly

(25:37):
saw other plays where Von dropped backand again, I'm fine with a guy,
you know, dropping an edge guyback every day and again given the
quarterback something to think about and youknow, trying to wrinkle or whatever.
But if you're doing it so muchthat the players like, hey, I'm
being taken out of what it isthat I'm here to do, that sort
of presents a problem, right,Like that sort of presents an issue.
And so it's interesting to me tosee exactly how many Dolphins players have sort

(26:06):
of come to the conclusion that thatVic Fangio, who has obviously moved on,
is or was, I guess,a detriment to what Miami was trying
to do last year. It'll beinteresting to see what Vic is able to
do in Philadelphia and how well thingsgo there. Obviously, they had the
disaster year trying to replace John Gannonwith the combination of Shanda Sai and Matt

(26:30):
Patricia, and it was awful.I think that some of the personnel don't
exactly match up in terms of whatthey want to do there in Philadelphia,
but you know, it is whatit is, and I sort of find
it fascinating that Vic Fangio and KellenMoore are now going to be coordinators.
Fangio and Kellen Moore famously squared offwhen the Broncos beat the brakes off Dallas
a few years ago, and Fangio, whose job at the time was sort

(26:55):
of in question and Kellen Moore wasbeing bandied about as a name to replace
him, completely shut down that offense. I mean, they completely shut down
Dallas' offense, and Fangio is knownto have quipped maybe not publicly, but
it is public knowledge, you know, so much for the wonder kid or
whatever that can't remember the exact quote, but you know, some yeah,
that kind of thing after kind ofbeating the brakes off them. So fascinating

(27:21):
that those two are now offensive anddefensive coordinators under the same roof there in
Philly. And we'll sort of seehow again the personnel in Philadelphia react to
Vic Fangio, where in his lastfew stops it's kind of been regarded as
a situation where he's been a bittoo a bit too rigid perhaps for some
of the players. Five six sixnine zeros A text line. I want

(27:47):
to get to this article that andI hate doing list Radio, I really
do. But I thought this wasinteresting and it is our good buddy,
Jared Bailey. Our good buddy JaredBailey over at USA Today did where he
sort of prese and ranked the NFLhead coaches. I'll let you guys think
about where you think Sean Payton landedin this ranking one through thirty two of

(28:12):
where these NFL head coaches sort ofcurrently rank. And it is that time
of the year where people sort ofdo list and all that kind of stuff,
power rankings, all those kinds ofthings. We're bored and starved for
content. So that's kind of thestuff that kind of the stuff that happens.

(28:34):
These are meant to be a rankingthat's kind of in the moment,
not what they've done so much aswhere they are now. And so without
further ado, I think the obviousanswer at number one, everybody's going to
know it's Andy Reid that they haveranked number one, and that's you know,

(28:55):
that's pretty obvious. At number two, Sean McVay, and you know,
I think it's I think it's interestingthat you've got him there. I
think if Sean McVay as a topcoach, he obviously has the idetic memory.
It's done some good things, beento two Super Bowls and one to
one. I'm not sure I wouldput him in the second best coach in

(29:15):
the league, but they have himup there at number three. Mike Tomlin
the Steelers, if you know,I think everybody talks about Tomlin and is
a playoff streak and all that kindof stuff, the above five hundred streak,
all that kind of stuff. TheSteelers have had at least nine wins
at each of the last three seasons, and their point differential was underwater at

(29:37):
each of those seasons. They wereunderwater twenty points in twenty twenty three,
thirty eight points in twenty twenty two, to fifty five points in twenty twenty
one. And so, you know, it's fascinating to me that Tomlin finally
got rid of the offensive coordinate theyneed to get rid of. I don't
know that trading away Kenny Pickett wasthe answer, but whatever they got Russ

(30:00):
of course, you know, justinfield as well. They spent big money
on Patrick Queen. So it'll beinteresting to see. But Tomlin in the
top five. I can sort ofget behind Kyle Shanahan at four. You
know, There's been some some questionsabout Kyle and big games and all that
kind of stuff, But what hehas done brought to the league, and
certainly the the down trace coaching treeswould indicate that he belonged there. Number

(30:23):
five Matt Lafleur. I think he'sdone a heck of a job up there
in Green Bay. I don't thinkyou can really argue with that. Number
six. John Horball the Baltimore Ravens. I don't think you can argue that
one. Number seven Zach Taylor CincinnatiBengals. I don't know that I necessarily
put Zach that high. It's abit of a personal relationship there, and
I don't know. I don't knowthat I would. Certainly they've you know,

(30:49):
got into a super Bowl. Youknow he's a good coach. I
will say he's not. Just that'sthat's interesting to me. Dan Campbell,
he had at eight from the DetroitLions. They obviously haven't won the Big
One or anything like that, butDan's certainly put a more unfranchise back on
the map, and that's worthy ofsomething. Number nine to Miko Ryans,

(31:11):
and I guess I sort of getthis in the sense that it feels a
bit prisoner of the moment because oflast year. However, if they continue
that, then this is validated. If they don't, then you know,
obviously we'll go back and look atthat and say, okay, what happened
here, But it did feel alittle prisoner of the moment. Number ten
Sean McDermott of the Buffalo Bills. You know, the Bills have been one

(31:34):
of the powerhouses the NFL of thelast half decade. But I mean,
you called a fake punt to TomorrowHamlin with the season on the line rather
than just letting Josh Allen do it. They haven't been able to overcome the
Chiefs and the playoffs, and nowthey're kind of retooling on defense, you
know. So, I mean,I don't know if Tan is where i'd

(31:56):
put him. I think highly ofSean McDermott. Number eleven Kevin Stefanski.
Anybody gets a Browns to a elevenwin playoff team while using five different quarterbacks
certainly has my eyebrow raised. Theinteresting thing here is gonna be the Deshaun
Watson portion of this. Watson hasn'tbeen good in like four years at this
point, and you know it's aquestion of whether he ever gets anywhere close

(32:17):
to the form that he used tohave. At number twelve, I think
it is the first one that startsto surprise people. We're very high on
Shane Steiken here at BCT, buthaving him that twelve is the twelve best
coach in the league is certainly interesting. Stike. It of course a large
part of the success of Jalen Hurts, and then before that Justin Herbert's rookie
season, and he hasn't been thesame since. So Anthony Richardson now quarterback.

(32:43):
I don't know, you might beon to something there. At number
thirteen is one time Denver Broncos finalistKevin O'Connell. The Vikings were a duct
tape team last year. They justtrying to tape it all together. It's
gonna be interesting to see this year. It's the quarterback situation, McCarthy,
Darnold, litle at but we'll seehow that shakes out. Number fourteen,

(33:06):
the first name I felt like wastoo low Jim Harball. Harball has just
had success everywhere and I get thesebeen out of the league since what twenty
fourteen or whatever, but it ludicrousbecause he wins everywhere he goes. He
had success with the Niners, hehad success. He's just he's just good.
And the idea that he's there,I don't know. I don't I
just I truly don't know that that'sthe direction that I would have I would

(33:31):
have gone there. Number fifteen,Uh, they Mike McDaniel of the Miami
Dolphins, the Denver Native. Ithis is another one where you're like,
Okay, a lot of good there, but then you know, a lot
of interesting stuff last year, ofcourse, the Fangio thing a big part
of all that. Uh, Andthat's something that I think that you know,
you have to take into consideration. And then number sixteen Sean Payton putting

(33:57):
him at the middle of the pack. They ranked him at the middle of
the the middle of the pack there. I don't know. I mean,
I think that's fair. I thinkthere are people that are gonna say I'm
being a hater by that, butI think it's fair. I don't think
that. The Broncos obviously didn't makethe playoffs with Russell Wilson. They didn't
adapt to Russell Wilson's strengths. Theymoved on from Imbropo Nixon and we'll kind
of see if he's able to dowhat Sean Payton wants to do. But
I don't think that there's anything that'swarranted to be any higher. Yet you

(34:21):
win this year with a rookie, and all of a sudden, you go
up, I think in these rankings. But I found that interesting. Five
sixty nine zeros a text line.Know what you think Sean Payton? Is
Sean Payton the sixteenth best head coachin the NFL? I don't know.
Jared Bailey USA today seems to think. So. Listen to Broncos country tonight
