Seeing five six, six nine zeros. The text line We're gonna go right
out to the KA Comment Spirit Healthhotline, however, and bring on our
good friend Parker, Gabriel Parker,How you doing this evening? Doing good?
Guess I don't doing pretty well firstday of I guess acclimatization of training
camp. But I thought an interestingday in terms of certain narratives being blown
up. Already, the rumors ofJavante Williams dying off never to be found

(00:22):
again seems to have fallen by thewayside, and I didn't see much of
all Galaxy tight End Lucas Kroll, but perhaps you can you can fill us
in on that and maybe some ofyour other initial observations that you saw there
at training GAMP. Yeah, soJavonte william is going to be what top
three to five running back in theNFL. Fitch is all the way back.

(00:42):
Now you have to worry about thehamstring again. Are we overstating things
after eighty five minutes of acclamation practice. Probably but not. I mean,
you guys are right, it's interesting. And the thing I think, I
don't know how I guess so.The thing that is so great about this
time of the year is that wejust get to see a lot of practice

(01:03):
and it starts today, and soI was sort of boring. I always
try to not jump to too manyconclusions after one day, because what you're
trying to do is you're trying totake what you see today and tomorrow and
Friday and Saturday and then the sixdays next week and start to, you
know, learn things that you didn'tknow. So, yeah, good start

(01:23):
for several guys today, and thenyou just sort of see where it goes
from here. Parker. I knowit is only the first day, but
I think just being out there, there was like a smile on the faces
of everyone seeing Greg Dosage. Imean when when he first came out he
had a couple of catches. Whatwas the first thing that came to your
mind? Yeah, just the youknow, the reminder mostly of what we

(01:46):
missed all of last year with thehair and all of that. No,
I mean, like it's been along road for him. I'm really interested
to talk to him at some pointhere, hopefully soon, because I just
like you could tell even in Januaryhe was talking about the foot injury that
became sort of the setback, andthen he ended up having surgery on after

(02:09):
the season. That really just itwas so frustrating for him because he felt
like the hamstring was finally in agood place and then the foot popped up
and and he missed more time.We didn't see him at all this summer,
and so now you're talking about justa long time since he's played,
and so when you see him,you know, toe tap a catch on

(02:30):
the sideline, or catch the ballin the middle of the field and turn
up the field and burst and allthat, like these are simple things,
but there are things that he hasn'tdone in quite a while. And so
what you like, I didn't ashon this, but I'm sure I will
at some point in the next weekor so. It's just like, at
what point with Greg Dulsic, doyou really start to allow yourself to think,

(02:53):
for the first time since a yearago this time about what he can
add to the offense and to whatextent do you just need to see him
get all the way through training camphealthy, because you know he doesn't take
long watching him to remind yourself that, oh, yeah, if this guy
plays a lot, he's gonna reallyhelp them. And then you're just trying

(03:13):
to be realistic about Okay, whatare the odds that he's going to play
and how cautious do you need tobe and sort of sketching that out.
Yeah, I tend to tend toagree with you on that. I think
that is the thought process here, because he's a great athlete, and you
know it's certainly guys that big shouldn'tmove that fast, and you know when
you can see the difference when he'sout there. That said, at what
point do you do you open yourselfup to the possibility that we're going to

(03:34):
start building things around the possibility thathe's going to be here versus uh,
you know that wait and see moment. I tend to think that's after two
preseason games myself, but that that'sjust speculation on on my part. Everybody
wants to talk quarterbacks. We sawJared Stidham get the you know, the
initial reps today and I thought itlooked pretty much like it has looked.
Jared Stidham is kind of the steadyEddy bo Nicks. You know, you

(03:57):
can see the promised there. Hegets the ball out quick, but he
looks like a real at times aswell. Then you know, Zach Wilson
has the best tools of the threeof them, and those the prettiest ball
when it's on target. I justwish that on target was something that was
a phrase that was perhaps repeated alittle more often. Yeah, definitely,
And it's going to be very interesting, like you know, everyone's gonna read
a lot into the reps and allthat. One thing, you know,

(04:18):
Sean Payton didn't go he didn't reallygo down that road too much today.
But one sort of like little thingthat he said that I thought was interesting
was that, you know, dayone acclamation practice today. He called it
sort of like day one install. And then he said, and then you
know Friday, we sort of startthat over again. And so I wouldn't

(04:38):
I wouldn't be surprised if, youknow, instead of one two three one
two three one two three here fora little bit, if we sort of
like reset the deck again on Fridaywith Jarrett. But all of that,
like you know, that stuff isgoing to work itself out, and and
like you said, I mean, each guy sort of has his charge for
the next few weeks, and II thought it was interesting, Like,

(05:00):
you know, guys always chirped, that's the way it goes. Defensive guys
think they've made every playoffensive guys thinkthey've made every play, and the defensive
guys started chirping at Jarrett when hechecked down a ball, you know,
his first rep of team, andit's there's just going to be a very
interesting psychological test for these guys duringcamp. It's not the same as you

(05:24):
know, seeing Baltimore show zero onfourth and one or whatever, but like
it is going to be. Theseguys are going to be tested in the
can you play not afraid to makemistakes? Can you play aggressive but smart?
Can you deal with you know, your own teammates, the defense trying
to put the pressure on you,and all of these things, Like doesn't

(05:45):
mean you're going to be an AllPro or not make the team or whatever,
but everything for the quarterbacks matters atthis point, and that's that's what's
fascinating about watching, you know, three guys try to try to battle it
out here. The next couple ofweeks, park is speaking of pressure.
The bron Goes have a new facein the secondary in Brandon Jones. Do
you feel as though it's fair forBrandon to undergo any scrutiny knowing as though

(06:12):
he's trying to fill the shoes ofa guy like Justin Simmons. Yeah,
I mean, I don't. It'skind of interesting Nick, like he every
time he's talked, he's been askedabout Justin Simmons, and like at some
point the streak will be broken onthat. I mean, it's not like
it's fifteen times. I think he'stalked two or three times, but even
still, like it's just you know, he's Brandon Jones. He plays safety

(06:34):
for the Broncos, and I thinkthat as much as you know, reporters
and then also fans think about himin terms of like Justin Simmons is no
longer on the team, Brandon Jonesis on the team now. If so
fact, though he's a replacement,like, I don't he doesn't strike me

(06:54):
as a guy who's going to havea lot of problem just saying this is
who I am, this is theplayer I am. He you know,
the other day he said, Ithink people have put me in a box
in terms of no pun intended, but like in terms of what they think
I can do that. You know, he referred to himself as being thought
of as a box safety and solike he is out to prove that he

(07:16):
can do everything you know, we'llsee about that, and he makes an
interesting pairing with PJ. Locke,And I think like all that stuff means
a lot more for the Broncos thisyear and going forward than the fact that,
like, in some way he's beingasked to be the next guy after
Justin Simmons talking with Parker Gabriel atParker J. Gabriel on Twitter covers the

(07:39):
Broncos for the Denver Post. Youknow, I earlier in the show,
I positive that perhaps the most underratedcamp battle is the battle at Center,
where Luke Wattenberg, Alice Forsyth, and somewhat Sam Mustifer are involved in trying
to win the center position at anarea that, when manned by Lloyd Cushion
Berry was was serviceable at though helacked the ability to take on guys with

(08:03):
high levels of strength. I thinkat times this could severely impact, especially
if you have a rookie, howyou're you're running your offense, if you
have a liability there. Why isthe Center battle not being talked about more?
Well, you know, I'm notsure center battles sell newspapers anymore,
although I don't know that they everdid. It might just be that you

(08:26):
know it's harder to sell newspapers ingeneral, but no, I mean,
like I think it's I think it'sgoing to be a really good one,
and I've written some about it.I'm certainly planning to write more about it.
And they're two interesting guys, right, I mean, obviously, you
know they both played college football inthe Pac twelve rip that they both get

(08:48):
to claim Big ten schools their almamatters now. But Luke Wattenberg, like
in twenty twenty two when he gotthrown in just like really limited spot duty
as a rookie, he was physicallyoverpowered, and I think it's not like
it's a huge redemption story, buthe did a really nice job from year
one to year two of getting himselfin position where he could handle that spot

(09:09):
duty. And then Alex Forsyth's like, we haven't seen him play yet.
He was an active most of theyear last year at the seventh round pick.
But Sean Payton sort of like wentout of his way a couple of
times long before they drafted bow Knicksto say that he was one of the
smartest guys on the team, thathe was in early watching film all the
time. Like they clearly he clearlyknew he was on a red shirt year.

(09:33):
They clearly knew he was on ared shirt year, and they seem
to like the development tracks. Soyou've got, you know, two young
guys. Wattenberg's played a little bit, Forsythe hasn't played at all, but
both have. You know, Wattenberg'sgot long levers and he if he can
get the leverage right in the middle, he's got a chance to really kind
of hold his own. And Forsytheis really smart. We'll see how he

(09:56):
holds up when the pads come on. Like it's a good It is a
good battle. And as much asyou guys over the next four weeks want
to talk about, you know, which unknown center is gonna win the starting
job, I will happily a blachevery time. I don't think that it's
gonna be hot a bunch of hotcenter talk here on Broncos Country tonight.

(10:18):
But I tell you one angle ofthe game that we're definitely gonna talk a
lot about, and I think everyone'sgonna pay attention to, is who's going
to be the starting corner opposite Patsor ten. And right now it's kind
of a three pointy race. TheMario mathis, Riley Moss and Levi Wallace,
and today there was kind of arotation of all three of those guys

(10:39):
throughout practice. But for right now, what would you say, at the
end of the day, you know, the Broncos are flying up the Seattle.
Who do you think it ends upwinning that starting role? Yeah,
I think just based on you know, I mean, I thought that Riley
Moss had a really nice offseason programin the you know, we didn't see

(11:00):
we saw four out of whatever twelvepractices or something all told, But like
I thought he had a nice summer. I also don't know that it means
a lot. Like one of themore interesting it didn't get a ton of
run. But one of the moreinteresting quotes of the summer, I thought
was Jim Leonard, the new secondarycoach, talking about the young guys in
the group, and he said,yeah, I mean they're they're they're being

(11:22):
aggressive and they're and they're playing wellright now. But like this is the
easy part. This part like it'sgonna get hard, and especially like as
a roster cut down, deadlines getcloser and starting spots are on the line.
Roster spots are on the line, like he basically was like cool that
they're doing good for now. Iwant to see it, you know,
in in mid August and in thepreseason games and in the joint practice and

(11:43):
so like, I think we havesome some yarn to unschool still there.
I right now, I would guessRiley Moss, but there's a long way
to go and and uh, youknow, a lot of a lot of
by to check there. And youknow, Levi Wallace is sort of in
the Fabian Moreau mold where you knowkind of what you're gonna get from him.

(12:07):
I don't want to call him likea fallback option, but he's just
he's sort of like Mustafer. It'slike, you know, I think they
would like it if a young guygrabbed a job and ran with it,
and then they have a veteran guythere who is sort of a fail safe
if he plays really well in campor if the young guys don't. I
still can't believe you guys are sayingthat sexy, that center battles aren't sexy.

(12:28):
I mean, come on, man, this is the best center battles
since Shaq versus O versus Michael doliacfor for the Miami Heat, back and
then I'm just kidding. As faras the other camp battles go, I
think the other big way is CodyBarton versus Jonas Griffith. They've always had
big plans for Griffith, but hehasn't managed to stay healthy. I think
he's definitely more athletic than Cody Barton, although Barton has what appears to be

(12:50):
a little bit better instincts, morethan Josie jewel Mold in terms of being
a hitter with instincts. How doyou think that shakes out? Yeah,
I think, I mean, Ido think a lot of it will just
depend on how much us Jonas Griffithhas to to shake off. I mean,
it is sort of amazing. Likehe had that foot injury he got.
He hurt his foot when the teamgot back from London I think in

(13:11):
twenty twenty two, and he hasn'tactually played in a game since then because
then he tore his ACL in camplast year and so it's just been a
really long time since he's played. You know, he looked good in that.
You know, the twenty twenty twopreseason in its basically the time ass
from from when they traded him twentygot hurt, and so I think I
think that he, you know, has a chance to earn that you know,

(13:33):
that role back if he can stayhealthy. And also, you know,
I think it's possible that it endsup not being quite still cut and
dried, just like the way itwas last year where Alex Singleton and Josie
Jewell played a ton together. Itcould end up being a little bit more
you know, role based in termsof Singleton and then sort of like one

(13:56):
guy or the other depending on youknow, game situation and and and down
distance and all that. So Ithink I think they'll use both of them
probably at least that's how you wouldlook at it right now. And then
if I was gonna pick one guyto pull ahead, I would probably pick
Jonas at this point. But Ithink, you know, I think it's

(14:16):
more likely that you see both ofthose guys working in, you know,
next to Alex Singleton over the courseof the year. On a scale from
from from zero or one to uhto Lucas Kroll, which has his own
segment of the Hall of Fame, how would you how would you rate the
Broncos practice today? Yeah, yeah, crawl, you just can't even I

(14:37):
mean, he's the best player onthe his own wing of the Hall of
Fame. Yeah, there's you justcan't really you know, it's like it's
like the Aaron Donald scale kind ofso. Uh, now, Ben what
I don't even remember what you asked. I was. I was looking for
an excuse to sneak that reference here. That's really all it was, Parker.

Without further ado, let's get tothe NFL six pack. It's time for

(16:03):
the NFL six pad. I'm goingto trade the last year insight and insight
information you can't find anywhere else.No. Six the top six NFL headlines.
One. Lamar Jackson lasted only anhour in his training camp debut.
Jamison Hensley of the ESPN reporting theraining NFL MVP missed the first three days
of Ravens training camp and then undisclosedto illness, left midway through Wednesday's workout.

(16:26):
Hensley said Jackson looked weary as heleft for the team facility after throwing
one completion and one interception in teamdrills. Jackson split snaps with backup Josh
Johnson before leaving. Raven's offensive coordatorTodd Monkins said, we're going to work
him back in for sure. Iknow I'm being part of a smart ass,
but you'll have to ask him howhe feels. He was great in

(16:48):
meetings when we were on the fieldto start a practice, so said he's
feeling good. Jackson has missed atleast one practice in each of his seven
seasons within illness. Thursday is theteam's first day off. Does Lamar Jackson
have a immutant system issue. No, you know, the early part of
training camp is always difficult because you'retaking guys who have run around on their

(17:08):
own and the off season, andthey left the off season program. Now
you're coming back to full participation whereyou're counting on your body to be very
explosive and short bursts, and sometimesthings happen. You know, it's not
a big issue for me. Ifyou were saying that Lamar Jackson did something
to himself that's going to keep himout for several weeks. Now you go

(17:32):
on, oh, what's gonna happenwith the Baltimore Ravens at this point,
But you can expect injuries to happenlittle tweeks here and there throughout training camp
for every single team. Yeah,it's just interesting that he's I mean,
he was gone for three days witha home with an illness, then he
had to leave practice earlier with anill list, and he's missed practices every
single season he's been in the NFLwith undisclosed illness. Well, to me,

(17:55):
if you had the Baltimore Ravens andyou charutting that statistic, you're just
saying, Okay, well, maybethis is the precursor to Lamar Jackson having
another sensation season could be two.Jim Harball first day of training camp and
he gave a very Jim Harball likequote started the off season program. Was
Happy New Year to Chargers coach JimHarball. Only three and a half months

(18:18):
to pass since then. But it'sNew Year's Day all over again, I
guess, and happy birthday, JimHarball said. Quote. It's like New
Year's Day. It feels like beingborn. It feels like coming out of
the womb, Harball said Wednesday.By Chris Rim of ESPN, You're you're
in there, it's comfortable, it'ssafe, and now you're out, you're
born. Lights are on, it'sbright, chaos, people looking at you,
people talking to you, and itjust feels good to have it happen.

(18:41):
It was twenty fourteen when Harball lastcoach in the NFL. He's back,
coming off a national title of courseat Michigan. Hiring in Los Angeles
has Chargers fans excited as they've beenin years. Or when James said he's
his own guy. We love him. He compared it to coming out of
the womb. As if anybody remembersthat process, and specifically it was a
little weird about saying how great itwas being in the womb that you're quote

(19:04):
comfortable and safe. Jim Harrwall isa colorful guy, and we just chalk
it out to that. No,I mean, listen, it's not the
compent you want, but to betotally transparent, he's a little right because
when you think about the fact ofwhere he was being in Michigan, now
he's being inserted back into the matrixand it is bright lights and a lot

(19:26):
of pressure, and you're being reborn, if you will, because now you're
gone from NFL player to extraordinary collegehead's coach, being inserted back into being
in the NFL again, but ina different capacity. So I understand it.
The lights can't be bright sometimes andwhen you wake up in the morning,
you're wiping your eyes. But thisis one of those birthing moments where

(19:49):
everyone's going to be watching to seecan you walk? And well can you
crawl? And then can you getto a stable walk day before you get
before you can run? Yes?Three two key San Francisco forty nine ers
not on the field for today's practice. Both Brandon Ayuk and Trent Williams sitting
out due to contract reasons. ForAyuk, he was actually in attendance in

(20:11):
Santa Clara, but watched from thesideline, with head coach Kyle Shanahan describing
the wide receiver as holding in.Trent Williams was a different story. He
was not seen Wednesday, and Shanahanconfirmed after practice that the three time first
team All Pro offensive tackles absence wascontract related. I knew it was a
possibility, said Shanahan, who addedthat the forty nine Ers general manager John
Lynch has been in talks with repsfor Williams. I feel pretty confident we'll

(20:33):
work out. In the long run, he'll be here. We'll get on
the same page with everything. Williamsin day sixty year, one hundred and
thirty eight point oh six million dollarextension following a twenty twenty trade from the
to the Niners from Washington. Thatdeal was restructured last year with eighteen point
two three million of his base salaryconverted to signing bonus, opening up fifteen
million in cap space. According overthe Cap, the thirty six year old
Williams is an eleven time pro bowlerset to earn twenty point eight million in

(20:56):
twenty twenty four and twenty three pointthree five million in twenty twenty five.
However, all the guaranteed money hasall been paid out. Williams is likely
looking for is and the four year, one hundred and twelve million dollar extension
that the Lions gave Penny Steel atApril, which includes eighty five million guaranteed
money for each day of training campingMissus Williams is subject to a mandatory fifty
thousand dollars fine and those fines cannotbe weaved for the new collective bargaining agreement.

(21:21):
It's Turner Williams making a mistake notholding in like Brandon Ayuk. Yeah,
I think he is, because youknow, the whole idea back in
the day, even when I played, even before I play, was a
whole idea of holding out, topushing negotiations to where you want to but
an act of good fate. Nowguys have decided to hold in. I

(21:41):
mean, you're still there, you'restill part of the team, you're still
doing most of the things, butyou have a different source foine every day
that costs you on inability to prassyes, because now they cannot find you
for not being at practice now unlessthings have changed in the collective bargaining agreement,
and I don't know, you're notsaying that you have to be there
and be a participant in practice. The idea is that you have to be

(22:03):
present. So this is where Ithink Trent Williams is missing the mark.
But knowing how important he is tothe success both passing in the run game
for KLA Shannon San Francisco, theygonna work something out four Well. Obviously
training camp is in full effect, and that means his training camp fight season.
First one caught on video came inHouston this afternoon. Accounts from the

(22:26):
session indicate that tight end Dalton Schultzgot a little heated after contact by defensive
back Jimmy Ward on wide receiver StefanDiggs. Video on social media then shows
cornerback Derek Stingley knock Schultz to theground as he's walking away, and many
players from both sides of the ballcome together for a brief scuffle. Things
appear to settle down quickly from there. It doesn't seem like anything to be
an ongoing concern for the team. Now it'll be last time tempers flair during

(22:48):
practices this summer, though in additionin house squabbles, there'll be a slew
of joint practices in August. Andcoaches have long worn against leting emotions get
the best of players during all sessionsas they lead to injury risks. Gives
that the official start of training campwhen you have your first scuffle, Yeah,
absolutely, because it gives the headcoach an opportunity to go in the
meeting room and talk to everyone andremind them about protecting the team because you

(23:14):
want it. You want the situationto be competitive, not combative. And
how successful will the Houston Texans bethis year if some of their key players
are injured? And hey, listen, I'm expecting Houston to be right up
there, you know, with theKansas cities of the world of this this
particular season. But this is theopportunity for Damika Ryans to come and speak
to his team. But now youknow that camp has officially started. We've

(23:37):
gotten that out of our system. Now let's move on. Yeah, fine,
that's a good way to be aboutit, says running back Alvin Kamara.
Reported to training camp on Tuesday, and he explained his reasons for reporting
into the press conference today. Tomorrowwalked out of the team's mandatory mini camp
in June because he was not makingany progress towards a new contract, and
said today that there haven't been toomany really meat full conversations with the team

(24:00):
about a new deal. Kamara issigned through twenty twenty five, but has
no guaranteed money left to this deal, and the Saints would see significant savings
by parting ways with him. Sincehe's under contract, Tomorrow would be subject
to fines for skipping training camp.He referenced that when discussing his decision to
show up, quote, I ain'tstupid. I ain't going to give money
up. I'm trying to get somemoney. I'd be a fool despite my

(24:22):
teammates because of a dispute I'm havingwith upstairs. I would you can call
it a dispute. We're having conversations. I ain't stupid. Kamaras said he
plans on practicing and playing, eventho there's no commitment to years after that
looks like uncertainty will remain there forthe time being. But again this goes
back to the holding in versus holdingout versus showing up. Alba Kamara is
trying to make money, and youdon't make money by getting fined fifty thousand
dollars a day for not being there. No, you don't. But there's

(24:45):
so many players that we've seen overthe years who, for whatever reason or
not justified or not, they holdout. And some guys think that,
okay, well, maybe they willbe able to recoup that money with their
new contract. But the ideas thatmoney you will never really be able to
recoup. Like if they're finding youfifty thousand dollars a day, you're not

(25:06):
getting that bag. And even ifyou added more money onto the tell the
end of your contract, that's stillmoney gone. But even some players and
even fans think, oh no,don't worry about it, he'll just get
that back once he signed his newdeal. No, you want that money's
already gone. Yeah. It remindsme of like, for instance, Leveon
Bell. Remember when he just heldthat didn't show up for and he's going

(25:29):
to get that money back on mynext door, you're not. You didn't.
You'll lose money. Yes, youcan't make money. What's the trip,
don't for quote, you can't losemoney making money. You can't make
money losing money. Yes, Ithink something to that effect close enough six.
Jordan Addison was recently arrested for duiParis to say that he's owning up
to everything. Viking's receiver Jordan Edisonmade himself available for interviews on the first

(25:52):
day of training camp, and it'sthe first time he talked publicly about his
arrest in California. Twelve days ago. Addison was arrested on suspense DUI after
being found asleep behind the wheel nearlax Addison would not discuss details, citing
advice from his attorney and agent, but he said he would own up to
whatever punishment the NFL gives him fora second driving related incident in a year.
I'm not sure what's going on,Addison said, via Mark Craig of

(26:15):
The Star Tribune. I own itup to whatever it is, whatever discipline
reactions that come my way. I'mgoing to stand tall get through it.
Same thing with the team. Whatever'sout there for me, I'm gonna go
stand on all ten and take whatevercomes with it. I'll do what I
do. Coach Kevin O'Connell express disappointmentAddison on Monday. Addison bowed to make
better decisions going forward. This comeson the heel of teammate Kyrie Jackson being

(26:36):
killed in an automobile accident through nofault of his own. He was the
passenger and he was the vehicle thatstruck them, that was intoxicated, just
just a few weeks ago. Howdo you I mean, I can't wrap
my head around how a player wouldhave you just lost a teammate less than
a month ag you were at hisfuneral less than a month ago. It
was caused by a drunk driving accident. How in the world are you getting

(26:59):
behind the whel after you've been drinking. I have no idea, but it
happens all the time. And sometimesguys go out and they drink, have
a good time and just think thatyou know what, I'm okay, I'm
fine and get behind the wheel. And this is why the league has,
you know, done a good jobover the years giving guys vouchers for like

(27:22):
Lyft and uber, But believe itor not, a lot of guys don't
really take advantage of it. Butlike I don't really I don't drink,
so so I'm I'm a little differenthere now, maybe a newbie. But
how do you get what do youhave to drink? And how much of
it. Do you have to drinkto fall asleep behind the wheel? H
This is different than I had twobeers where you're over the limit. You

(27:44):
fell asleep behind the wheel, behindthe wheel like hmmm, well, you
know what. As bizarre as thisis, I think the heavens that he
did fall asleep behind the wheel, right, and he wasn't injured because or
injured anyone else. Yes, yes, and hopefully he learns a lesson from
this. None of us are perfect, we are not without our own faults,

(28:06):
but hopefully this is a learning lessonfrom him that he can kind of
carry over with other players. Broughtthis up because I wanted to point something
out. Profit are one of ourgood friends. My Profit, who's worked
in legal profession as well, hasbeen a lawyer, pointed out to me
that I had said the other dayI was talking about taking ride share services.
Just like when I drink, Ido not drive period, Like I
just don't if I'm drinking, I'mnot driving, you know, take a

(28:27):
ride share service or having a buddydrive, whatever the case may be.
But I pointed out, like scootersand apparently you can still get a dui
using those, You can still getin trouble operating. Yeah, so I
was not aware of that. SoI wanted to correct myself on something and
make sure I'm standing on all tenwhen I'm talking about something here as well.
So not that I use those scooters. I tend to use my LPCs.

(28:48):
Those are leather personnel carriers for thoseof you wondering. But I like,
yeah, don't don't use the scooters. Apparently, if you've been drinking,
that's a bad idea. Don't dothat. And if I if I
suggested that as an alternative, whichI apparently did, don't do that.
Well, he is an alternative foranyone who loved to indulge in the spirits.

(29:08):
I would say, you know, the best thing that you can do
is indulge in those spirits in yourhumble of bold, right, because if
something happened and you had to youknow, you pass out, You pass
out on the sofa, right, there's no no harm, no foul.
Now, depending on who your friendsare, you may wake up with you
know, markers and things, scrubit on your face. But hey,

(29:30):
listen, if that's the worst thatcan happen, hey sign me up for
it. But the idea of goingout having a couple of drinks and then
getting behind the will of a car. To me is like, you gotta
think better about it because it's notabout you. It's about other people around
that you can impact, right andthen and so that's the thing, and

(29:51):
I the thing came back to meand I'm like, Jordan Adison, Man,
it's just not only is this yoursecond problem with driving in a calendar
year or to speed right, Andso I'm like, not at least this
your second vehicular problem into your thisis a dui a month after your teammate
died because of someone else being DUI. So now at this point, now

(30:12):
that we brought that up, andI just remember that there may must be
or will be a time right nowfor them to do someone of an individual.
Because after you were speeding, youkind of said the same thing,
I'm going to learn, but nowyou didn't learn. Yes, but even
though you were not speeding in thisincident, you were under the influence,

(30:33):
but you passed out in the car. So maybe someone needs to grab him
by the collar it really set himdown and talk to it. It needs
to be some mentorship there. Andthat's that's the thing. I guess.
I sort of wondered because you lookat that offense and it's mostly young.
They have no depth of receiver whatsoever. You've seen that that Vikings roster.
Yeah, I don't have a lotof depth there. Obviously. The main

(30:55):
attraction is Jefferson in terms of thein terms of the offense, and I
don't know what he's like as amentor, what he should be doing to
mentor Addison, but you know you'relooking at it. You've got after those
two guys, you've got Brandon Powell, Trent Sherfield, Jalen Naylor, Tristian
Jackson. I mean, these areguys that are practice squad guys on most
most teams. See, this iswhere Adam Thielen would have been really valuable

(31:18):
as a mentor. And I'm justlooking around. I mean even at the
other position groups, it's pretty young. TJ. Hockinson at the at the
tight end position, I mean,Dalton Risers. On that offensive line,
you got a couple of guys onthat line have been around a little bit,
Garrett Bradbury. But that is avery very young offense across the board.
Nick Mullins, who's the third stringquarterback, might be the biggest veteran
they've got, Well, this iswhy teams want to get younger. But

(31:42):
to me, when you do that, you sacrifice leadership. Yeah, we'll
get into Looking forward to trading camptomorrow. Talking with you again tomorrow.
