friends over there. They were at the game with him,
and he got embarrassed by by the Jets performance and

back to the Minnesota loss, he was embarrassed.

The offense is the problem and making Jeff Ulbridge the
intern head coach, disrupting your defense, which is the one
thing that's working.

of a position he was doing well. Jeff Olbridge was
a defensive coordinator and moves him to something else. It
takes the one thing that was working and disrupts it
and doesn't do anything to the actual problem for the

For me in this situation, I think demoting the thing
a Hackett would have been the right thing to do.
I know, their individuals here in Broncos country just driving
around like they should have known that before they even
hided them. But if it's the same thing, I mean,
you hire Hackett with the idea that you're going to
get a piece of Aaron Rodgers witch, the Jets actually
have a piece of Aaron Rodgers and their hopes, their dreams,

their playoffs, the Super Bowl idea was hinging on how
well Aaron Rodgers.

two plays away from being four and one. Like I
just again, I don't understand. You've you've lived in this

was done the proper way. I worked with Robert Soler,

made the Bueller cut, you know, so, and I yeah,
I wouldn't have expected someone as young ast bon Nicks
to have seen Ferris Bueller's day off, but you know,

he claims to have, so you know, see, as far
as that goes, I just didn't know if you'd seen
it or not in kind of seen the fan base
sort of love that he leaned into it, you know,
and that's that's good for him to kind of show
that side because he's kind of been all business guy
since he's been here.

I love the fact that Bo leaned into it. I
love the fact of Bo's response on the sideline because
you want to see the fire and the passion from
your young players who know that it meant something. And

You know, Aidan O'Connell and Gardner Minshew were duke. You know,

was It was interesting because Aidan O'Connell was the guy
that got I mean, he wasn't the guy that got

Antonio Pierce the job, but he was the quarterback who
kind of helped get Antonio Pierce the job, you know.
I mean he was the quarterback of that team, and
then they summarily benched him to go out free agency
and go get Gardner Minshew, who you know, I didn't
play appreciably better than what O'Connell played last year, So
I guess they're pivoting back to O'Connor. We'll see what
he can do and who knows how that's gonna look.

And then Spencer Rattler will be the starter in Derek
Carr's place. Yeah, while he's out, probably gonna be out
for that Thursday night game as well, So the Broncos
might be catching a little bit of a break here
going on the road Orleans and catching Spencer Ratler.

they need to be prepared because Spencer Rattler he can
make plays. Now, going back to the situation with the
Raiders really quickly, I felt that it would have been
best served for the Raiders to stick with Aidan O'Connell
as their quarterback and then going out and trying to

Put to this way, he was not removing Hackett from
the team, but Robert Sala was going to demote Nate

wouldn't be the first time Rogers has lied about something.
He lied about being vaccinated multiple times. He certainly has

does make it seem like that's Aaron Rodgers' team, and

friends over there. They were at the game with him,
and he got embarrassed by by the Jets performance and

The offense is the problem and making Jeff Ulbridge the
intern head coach, disrupting your defense, which is the one
thing that's working.

It doesn't fix anything, and it takes a guy out
of a position he was doing well. Jeff Olbridge was
a defensive coordinator and moves him to something else. It
takes the one thing that was working and disrupts it
and doesn't do anything to the actual problem for the
New York Jets.

For me in this situation, I think demoting the thing
a Hackett would have been the right thing to do.
I know, their individuals here in Broncos country just driving
around like they should have known that before they even
hided them. But if it's the same thing, I mean,
you hire Hackett with the idea that you're going to
get a piece of Aaron Rodgers witch, the Jets actually
have a piece of Aaron Rodgers and their hopes, their dreams,

their playoffs, the Super Bowl idea was hinging on how
well Aaron Rodgers.

It's like giving him the quizzical look and like no
you know, and all that kind of stuff. And I'm like, yeah,

because Sean Payton made the Ferris Bueller comment that he
made the Bueller cut, you know, so, and I yeah,
I wouldn't have expected someone as young ast bon Nicks
to have seen Ferris Bueller's day off, but you know,

he claims to have, so you know, see, as far
as that goes, I just didn't know if you'd seen
it or not in kind of seen the fan base
sort of love that he leaned into it, you know,
and that's that's good for him to kind of show
that side because he's kind of been all business guy
since he's been here.

I love the fact that Bo leaned into it. I
love the fact of Bo's response on the sideline because
you want to see the fire and the passion from
your young players who know that it meant something. And

stuff goes. We've had some some QB changes also around
the league. Drake May the rookie gonna get his first start.

I kind of scratched my head a little bit when
I saw that, because I was like, really, you're gonna
roll him out there against Houston to start. That's probably
not the direction I would have gone. I would have
probably found something a little easier, uh than.

Now here's the thing.

I was one of them whether that was going to
happen after the game, because I know Antonio appears and
said later on in the week that there's going to
be a quarterback competition.

They just scrapped it.

And I can help but think that, well, ain't O'Connell
send the Denver Bronco defense a gift basket because they
essentially helped, you know, yeah, they insert him back into
the lineup.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
They did and it was you know, we had Vinnie
on what Friday? Yeah, I guess it was who said that.
You know, Aidan O'Connell and Gardner Minshew were duke. You know,
Gardner was playing for his job at that point, and
you know, after a couple of interceptions, I think they
they'd kind of had enough they made the switch. It
was It was interesting because Aidan O'Connell was the guy
that got I mean, he wasn't the guy that got

Antonio Pierce the job, but he was the quarterback who
kind of helped get Antonio Pierce the job, you know.
I mean he was the quarterback of that team, and
then they summarily benched him to go out free agency
and go get Gardner Minshew, who you know, I didn't
play appreciably better than what O'Connell played last year, So
I guess they're pivoting back to O'Connor. We'll see what
he can do and who knows how that's gonna look.

And then Spencer Rattler will be the starter in Derek
Carr's place. Yeah, while he's out, probably gonna be out
for that Thursday night game as well, So the Broncos
might be catching a little bit of a break here
going on the road Orleans and catching Spencer Ratler.

Might be better, might be worse.

Well, Okay, I watched Spencer Rattler in the preseason, and
I get it, it's only the preseason.

Well, we saw Bonicks in the preseason two and I
would love for that kind of rea.

Okay, truth, but Spencer Rattler made some plays both with
his arm and his legs. And look, he was at Oklahoma,
transfer to South Carolina, and when he was at Oklahoma,
everyone was thinking, okay, well maybe he would be a
top draft pick, and he kind of slipped a little,
but he still showed a little of that first round

draft pick flair. So hopefully the Broncos are not looking
ahead of the Chargers looking towards that Saints game, but
they need to be prepared because Spencer Rattler he can
make plays. Now, going back to the situation with the
Raiders really quickly, I felt that it would have been
best served for the Raiders to stick with Aidan O'Connell
as their quarterback and then going out and trying to

fine tune their offense with more pieces, because when they
led third.

Yeah, I mean that guy was, I mean at tandem

bit last week. I would not be surprised at all
