Speaker 3 (00:33):
A reboot is in the works.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
The series will take place in the same universe as
the original one, but with new characters.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Did you guys watch Friday Lights?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
I watched the movie. I didn't watch the TV totally
totally different thing. Yeah, I know that was good.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
I watched the movie, but I did watch the television series.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Michael B.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
Jordan yeah, was in this series, was yes, So they're
going to reboot it.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, they're gonna redo it. It's in the same universe.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
So all that stuff happened in this new right out,
let's just like later, you know, with new characters and
all that kind.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
Of on again.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
That tells you that how the way right now, they
can't come up with new scripts they look at for
intellectual property they've already got, so.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
They're rebooting thing once again.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
This is why what Jake Paul is doing and doing
these types of things reality TV stars, this is why
it's become so popular.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Yeah, it look they brought Matt Lock back, except it's
not you know or whatever they did, but they redid mcguiver.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Was it mcguiver mcgooper, Well, no, they did mcgrooper. They
redid like they had some whole new guy to a
whole new mcguiver series. It w wasn't very good. I
watched it was terrible.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
They've redone Magna p I like, they just.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Redo everything now, like I said, they got Kathy Bates
now is Matt Locke, although she's not, it's.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Not she's not really met Metlock. Well, sorry, I don't
want to spoil it.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
There's a twist in there, so I don't want to
spoil all that, but it's not really meant.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Well, I mean that's what CBS, right, I think.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
So okay, so when you think about CBS, they're running
out of things, so they're rebooting.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
The CBS shows actually Equalizer, Yeah there you go.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Yeah, so they can't come up with new show, which
is which is of the movies?
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Which is of the original show? Yes, the Mission of
Possibles like the old TV show. It's like, wait a minute.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
They sit in these network meetings and say, you know
what I gotta show for you, dog?
Speaker 3 (02:15):
What is it?
Speaker 4 (02:16):
Is?
Speaker 3 (02:16):
The reboot?
Speaker 1 (02:17):
When are we getting new Arkle? Well, I'm just saying no,
now they gonna put a spin on that. No, no,
we can't do that.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
No can we get out?
Speaker 1 (02:28):
No?
Speaker 3 (02:28):
No, stop it, stop it.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
That show would never work in any other like some
of those shows from the eighties.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Married with Children could not be on television ever.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
No, remember I'm mad that like that show could not.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Be on television. Now, there's no way you could get
away with.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
That scoring four tests downs at Polka.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
I'm just saying, look, how about he's a buddy's a
hero celebrate that man shows entire catalog. See, you've got
a game coming up against you. We've talked about the
quarterback position. It looks like Wilson's gonna be out for
that when they're down to a Luke Patari at quarterback
who is a fi I have ten one hundred and
fifty five pound dual threat quarterback and I'm sitting here
getting getting nostalgic for a second.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
You know what, you know, I went back and watched
that game last year, and that was a game where
Shador Standards didn't even play.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
He got to play.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
He played in that game. That's what he played in.
Oh yeah, yeah, no Watari play. But Chador didn't play
it correct. Ryan stopped played uh and actually threw his
first touchdown of his collegiate career. And that was a
game that the Buffs almost won because there was a
touchdown taking off the boward when I think Travis Hunter
caught a pass inside an explosive and they said they
(03:34):
he lost control, which I still to this day thing
that he maintained control throughout the catch.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
You know how you can make it up to him
playing voting for Freisman.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
Anyway, Well, he did a great job hauling in that
pass wasn't given him credit for. But I think he's
going to make up for it tomorrow because Shador is
going to be in the game and this is going
to add a whole different element.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
But now I will have to say.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
This now, even though the Utes are coming into bars
game a little banged up. One thing they did last
year and it was a Jaalen Glover rush for over
one hundred yards against the CU defense. Now there's so
much a little better now, but they still got another back,
Michael Bernard.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
Happened a quarterback that's mobile like Batari.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Though that might open things up a little bit, you know,
I mean he's an athlete five. I mean he's not
there's an of size. It reminds me of me, but
he's he's a bit of an athlete. As far as
that stuff, couse, that might help open up some lanes
in that game, you're gonna have to be real disciplined
on your rush lanes.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Well, the same thing happened. If you remember when Case
State came in here, right, it was the same thing
that their quarterback didn't look as though he was going
to be a threat from a mobility standpoint. He in
the extending plays and buying time with his feet. So
and once again in that game, the running back was
a huge issue for them and they could not stop
(04:52):
him down the stretch.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah, and it'll be interesting.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
The line has been dropping, the total has been dropping,
the line has been shifting in favor of CU all day.
So these rumors that have been coming out on social media,
but the mono for Zach Wilson's brother appeared to be true.
At least the money thinks it's true, as they put
the bets in on this one.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
But you don't want to sleep on that.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
I mean, you're talking about a tough team.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Even with these kind of Vegas signs, You're still talking
about a tough Utah football team.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Yeah, definitely a tough Utah team.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
We had a chance to talk to Luther Ellis yesterday
and you know, talk to him about some of the
the defensive players that they had. Because don't be mistaken,
just because they're down a couple of players, that doesn't
necessarily mean that the Utah defense is just going to
bow down. Like last week against BYU, I think for
the first time all season long, they were healthy over
(05:39):
their front seven. Yeah, and if you watch that BYU game,
they really got after BYU.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Kind of got robbed. They could have won that game.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Well, yeah, Winningham was there kind of upset because he
felt as though the holding call wasn't a legitimate call,
but it allowed BYU to keep the game, win the
field goal. So being able to slow down doors to
stay they seem last year, it's going to be somewhat
of an issue and Luther Ellis kind of talked about
it as far as what is required to slow down
(06:09):
a mobile quarterback?
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Yeah, I mean that's a great question, because you know,
it is kind of for surely a big dilemma for us,
right guys up front, because we our jobs have to
get out that quarterback and I'll let them get out
of the pass rush lanes, and we got to do
our part and holding up and doing those things. We
tried multiple ways and different things that we tried to
(06:31):
make it more difficult on him, meaning getting after him,
but also controlling the lanes and not opening up lanes
so you could just escape on us. But I don't know,
I feel like it's one of those things where when
you play what's the word, I'll stay scared, but you've
played more of a conservative, Hey, we're just going to
(06:52):
bull rush and just trying to keep them contained in
the pocket. Well, typically those guys, like you said, right,
only are they great athletes, but they can win that ball.
So now you give them all forts of time to
dissector your secondary right and as you say, man, hey,
you can't cover forever. So you know what we do is, honestly,
we just try to get after them. We just say, guys,
(07:14):
you know you've got to put fresh on him. You
got to make him uncomfortablack that we got to get
hits on him. So we need to just rush and
rush smart rush, you know, just will and elly and
get up phills, run by the quarterback, that type stuff.
But you have to maintain your fresh past rush lang.
But we can't resteet you them and said, hey, all's
going to do this bull rush all game because again,
(07:35):
these guys are I mean, I don't know about you,
but these kids coming in now, I mean, you got
even high school kids are a far more advanced than
I was when I got into the bros. Right, I mean,
they're they're working on this game year round and getting
some great teaching and great coaching through former NFL guys.
Coaches and things of that nature. So these guys are
(07:57):
a lot more skilled and more advanced, I would say that,
and even during our time, right, it's just one of
those things where these kids are spening so much time
in the game that you have to get after them.
And the best way to do that it's just again
starts up run. You guys have to cause that pressure,
cause that havoc be in his grill, so he's all
thinking about like where they're coming from. Right, if we
(08:18):
can get advice from looking down filled or checking down
to a second third grade or doing a good job.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Well was Luther Ellis from my interview yesterday.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
If you missed any part of that, you go to
Broncos Country Night dot Com, Slash Podcastvags Podcast, Apple iTunes,
Spotify Total, the free and awesome my Heart Radio. You
did or you gets taken it for Granted podcast if
it still exists too, So that's a I'm shaming Granted
into content. Luthor did a great job explaining that, was
talking about that and how kids are more advanced and
how that that does give problems. You know, when you
look at the at the front sevens in college football,
(08:46):
they're more fearsome than ever.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
These guys are coming in specializing in this.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
They've had dietary things to get the body right, They've
get better training than when they get.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
To this point.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
It's it's that much tougher for a collegiate quarterback. It's
going to be a big ask for show to our
centers and that offense going up against a pretty good
Utah defense.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
Well, it's not just a big ask for Shador, but
for that revamp, retooled, rebooted offensive line for the CU Buffs.
Those guys are gonna have to do a great job
because I go back to the Nebraska game. That Nebraska game,
the CU Buffs were just kind of dismantled on both
(09:23):
sides of the ball. Defensively, Nebraska was able to get
penetration and take the running game of way and put
pressure on Shador. From a rug game standpoint, they dominate
the line of scrimmage, allowing their running backs to really
be bulldoze and control the clock, even though Nebraska didn't
score any points after the second half. If you are
the CU Buffs coaches, I'm looking at those games because
(09:47):
if the Buffs hopes are not just to play in
the bowl game, but b in the Big Twelve conference
title game and go deep into the college football playoffs.
You're going to face teams that are much larger and
physical than you are, and tomorrow is going to be
a huge test for both sides of the ball, especially.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Along the lines, especially along the lines where Colorado is,
you know, been kind of shaky over the last two
years in the in the coach Primarra, obviously, the Buffs
need to win this game, and they need to win
out and you know, and continue to do that in
order to go forward. But do we care about the
border war aspect of it at all?
Speaker 6 (10:22):
No.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
I mean that's something that you can kind of like
throw out there as another narrative, But for me, yeah,
you're absolutely right, they need to win this game.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
But more importantly, when you look at the fact that.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
How BYU actually beat Utah and the score was twenty
two to twenty one. I always go back to this
as voters look or the committee looks for the college
football playoffs and how they're trying to aligne teams. See,
you need to go out there and pile up the points.
And I know some would say, well, the utes are
(10:56):
not as strong because they have so many players down
I don't care.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
You play who's on your schedule.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
Like the Utes played Kaliball last year.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
No, don't really care because Schudor was injured.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
The idea was winning the game and trying to get
into a position where you are Bowl eligible. So I
see the same thing for the CU Buffs. They have
to keep piling on the points because style points.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
I believe the committee will be looking at.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
And you definitely want to send a message you beat
the Utes tomorrow. You want to send a message to BYU,
We're coming. We're nipping on your heels right now. Just
know what you did to BYU the week before and
had to win by default. However you want to classify,
we're showing that we can put up points as well.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Do you think up a lot of them?
Speaker 1 (11:43):
Do you think that loss takes anything out of Utah
and by extension, tying that into the Broncos, just losing
in a devastating fashion like they did against Kansas City
take anything out of the Broncos coming into this camp.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
No, I don't want to say that it would take
things out.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
It can actually both of things.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
Because I like to try to look on a more
positive side of things. You have to allow some of
the losses that you've experienced and use them as rocket boosters,
superpel you for because it's like life if you constantly
look in the review mirror, because even though we all
have revview mirrors in our cars, if you're constantly looking
in the view mirror, how can you prevent another accident
(12:23):
from happening because you're not looking forward?
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Right, So put it behind you and move forward. Well,
I think that's what you want to happen. But I've
seen it before.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
I've seen devastating losses like that linger around.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
I saw it with the Razorbacks back in the nineties,
Clint Stirner at the turnover at Tennessee in the fourth
quarter that you know Razorbacks would have won.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
They wind up losing on the fumble.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
The next week, they come out flat against Mississippi State
and blow any chance they had at a national title hope,
you know, at that point, and it was all downhill
from there.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
Now.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
They came back to whe at the end of the year.
But it was a tough.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
It can be a tough sort of thing that lingers
with losses like they can linger with me. Have you
ever had a loss in you know, you've been a
locker room and that loss lingered longer.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Than it should have. Yes, Ben, I have I experienced it.
Why you want to ask? But since you ask, I'm
my fingers. Yes you are, man.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
So I go back to the loss against the Pittsburgh
still is here for the right to go to the
super Bowl and that five six season and trying to
bounce back from it. Well, we tried as a team
that next year, but being in that position, you can
never make up for it. It is something that's it's
dead and gone, it's lost. You missed out on an opportunity.
(13:29):
And for me, I will I will say this.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
I don't know how my other teams would feel. I
just feel as though we as a franchise during that time,
we never really bounce back. It took it took too long,
too many years to bounce back. But you hope that
when you know you have another game. In that particular situation,
there was no nothing. There was not another game. Yeah,
(13:53):
I just tell you, I said, I want to be positive.
I hope that it doesn't stick. I do hope it
sticks with Utah. I hope it doesn't stick with the Broncos.
But I have seen it before. That kind of thing
can cast a cloud.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
It does linger a little bit as people ruminate, oh
he lost the Crews should have won, and it festers.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
It can become a mindset that festers. You know how
how it faster? Like how faster for us? Even in
that game, like you go in the game with certain expectations,
something bad happens and you again no no no, no, no no.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
That was never the motto here, but something like in
that that type of game, something happened, like you know what,
we're gonna bounce back from this. Something else happened and
it's like, we're gonna bounce back from it. That third
time was like man, what the hell is going on?
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Right quick? Sam?
Speaker 4 (14:35):
And that was for the first time when I looked
around the room and I thought, as a player, as
other people, other players thought at the time, and I'm
talking to him, that we were in a situation we
had never been in before, like, oh my god, this
is now happening to us. Hopefully that's not the case
with the Broncos, and hopefully the Buffs can actually use
this momentum and just keep their eye on BYU.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
But still they'll overlook the youths tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
I think that it's the biggest part of see You,
and what they need to do to close out the
season is tuning out the noise because they are doubted.
I mean, even Joel Clatt, who's usually universally positive, say
CEU alone right, usually universally positive about the program, says
that their offensive line isn't going to hold up against
the elites that you know, the Texas, the Georgia of
the Alabama's that kind of stuff. Oregon's obviously, so I mean,
(15:20):
you know, they've got themselves in position to get themselves there.
But I feel like that this is a program that
if at any point they needed to tune out the
outside noise, it's now.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Well they do. But here's another thing. Feather in your cap.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
If you see you both a fan and a lumb
when you look at Utah, obviously they're banged up, but
they've lost like five games in a row.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
So right now, the one thing that may get.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
Them going is knowing is the fact that they can
be too. They can derail you, derail your season, and
the Buffs are going to have to go out there
and make sure they play well.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
They are and they're gonna have to close out business
and continue on their march, hopefully towards the Big twelve Championship.
When we come back, we're going around the horn picking
the NFL games, myself, Nick Ferguson and Grant Smith.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
We'll be back right for this five six, six, nine
zeros of text.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Line's been text Linds but hoping and night.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
I haven't really gotten too it, uh very much, but
quite a few texts in there, especially about SeeU. Shout
out to Brian who was texting. We had some people
that were talking about wanting to put money on the
fight tonight. The three all three said if he had
fifty one hundred bucks in his count, which unfortunately they don't,
they would put it on Jake Paul to win.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
Uh three or three.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
A different one says, I hope Jake Paul wins and
mops the floor with Mike Tyson payback for what he
did to Robin Gibbons and Evander ho holy Field.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Give that bipolar bleep the smack down he deserves.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
I'd like him see him bite Jake Paul's here off.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
I think we're all tuning in because we hate Jake Paul, right,
We all hate, we all want Jake, We all with
the smug smirk and knocked off.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
His face right, like that's why everybody's doing this.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Was Mike Tyson's rehabilitated his image, hasn't he? Yeah, yes,
he beat opioids, like he beat addiction. I mean then
he had a kid that die. Yeah, I mean yeah,
he's life that doesn't it doesn't exer. But he's done
a lot to like rehabilitate himself, rehabilitate his m and
a lot of that.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Was blamed on the opioid addiction that he had at
the time.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Wow, that texture was still.
Speaker 6 (17:12):
Were there any texts about nicks be dazzling career several?
Speaker 1 (17:17):
You know, there's uh looks like he's got some people
here that did want to make some uh some secrety sparkly.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Outfits for him. So we'll see if here for it.
I'm here for it too. I want to see how
creative you can meet.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Yeah, I think somebody wants to make us matching Sigfried
and Roy outfits.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Go now cook now we're agaess.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Uh uh, somebody asking if we think Growing Pains should
be rebooted of all the all the shows to get
rebooted that that might be one. I guess you could.
You could think.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
About family ties. Yeah, family ties.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
That would be a good one. Different strokes for different folks.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
I don't know what you could get away with that
premise these days and have to be a little bit different.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
No, the white Seeds thing doesn't play anymore, so I'm
just saying five six, six nine zero is the text line.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Though.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
We got to pick some game, so let's get to
it this week.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
A lot of great matchups.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
Going on around the League're gonna start things off with
the one that I've got circled and starred, and that
is the Ravens take it on the Steelers. Flyan hasn't
moved a lick. Started off Ravens minus three, State, Ravens
minus three over other started forty three, but it's shot
up to forty.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
Eight and a half.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Uh sixty percent of bets sixty eight percent of money
on the Steelers plus three. I think pretty split on
the over under fifty bet fifty percent of money on
the under at forty eight and a half on the
money line seventy seven percent of bets, but only fifty
seven percent of money on the Ravens.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
I love the Steelers at home in this one. I
know the.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Ravens are what they are, but I am on the
russ vanwagon.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
I'm letting him cook, I'm letting him bake, I'm letting
him fry. He consider them out.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Whatever he wants, he can start fight.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
I don't care. I like the Steelers from this one.
Oh you went on bubble Gum's trip on me on
that particularly one. Listen, these two teams have played thirty
six times.
Speaker 4 (18:51):
Lamar Jackson has won in three against the Steelers, and
Ross has been playing well because Steeler's offense has been
averaged at least t't the thirty past and yards per
game so great defensive, I guess opposition for both quarterbacks,
but I guess can I say in Russ me trust
in this particular game.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
So I'm gonna lean with the Stills. Why are you
taking your head?
Speaker 6 (19:14):
Great guys are both wrong. Lamar Jackson having a better
year than his MVP year last year and King Henry
Man he just wears you out throughout the game. He's
gonna bust a big one in the second half. I
think I like the Ravens on the road to win
this one.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
All right, Grant, there must be some Cincinnati Bengals tie
in here that he's hoping for.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
That's that's what I feel like. There's some home cooking
right there, and Russell's going to serve it up fresh.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
I believe it.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Vikings taking all the Titans in Tennessee. It's gonna start
off Vikings minus one. All we have the Vikings minus six,
now eighty one percent of best, ninety two percent of
money all the Vikings on that line. Forty three and
a half was the over under. It's down to thirty
nine and a half. Basically, everybody expects the Vikings to
spec the Titans, and the Titans not to score seventy
nine percent of best seventy eight percent of money on
the over at thirty nine and a half on the
(19:59):
money line, ninety seven one percent of bets, ninety nine
percent of money on the Vikings in this one.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
I am on the Vikings on the road.
Speaker 4 (20:04):
Despite the recent struggles on offense, I'm gonna roll with
the Vikings on this one because when you look at
Justin Jefferson, I don't think he scored a testdown in
three games, but his quarterback continues to give the ball away,
but looking for him. He's playing the Titans, who can't
really do anything offensively, can't do anything defensively, so this
would be a game for both of those guys to
(20:25):
get back on track.
Speaker 6 (20:25):
Vikings, Yeah, I'm with the Vikings too, even though they
only put up twelve points couldn't get in the end
zone last week. Their defense is the real deal with
Flores bringing the heat, and I think their offense gets
back on track this week against the Titans.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
I like the Vikings big.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
And this one, Prey, I'm with you. Will have stinks.
Brown's take it on the Saints.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
That's from the start off minus two, Browns are out
to plus one.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Now, this has a big disparity on the betting.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Sixty four percent of bets are on the Saints plus one,
but sixty six percent of the money is on.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
The Browns plus one.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
So you can find that if you shop that line,
you can probably get it favored whichever way you want.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
You over under started forty TX, you got to forty
four and a half.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Fifty nine percent of bets on the over, and that
on the money line, most of them on the Saint
seventy percent of bets eighty three percent of money on
the Saints.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
I like the visiting Browns and Famous Jamis's.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Return to Knowleins, especially with the Browns coming off the
bye week.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
Give me Cleveland Road, serve them up with those crab blades,
eat them all or now down and put some of
that that call face and down in to buy you. Uh.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
I'm listening, man, I'm.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
Gonna go with with the sayings. Last week was rather
impressive against their division rivals, the Atlanta Falcons. And something
happens when coach gets fired. All the players who want
a roster now, all of a sudden are rejuvenated and revitalize,
and that trend is going to continue against.
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Cleveland, rising it up in New Orleans.
Speaker 6 (21:50):
I think that the enterim head coach bump is not relevant.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
In week two, give me the Browns on the road.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
There you go. Who's that Ohio guy?
Speaker 4 (21:57):
Home?
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Run it up right now? You got it? DAGs taking
on the Lions in Detroit. This one started off Jacks
plus four. It is out to Jacks plus thirteen and
a half. Nobody believes in Jacksonville in this one.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Eighty two percent of bets eighty eight percent of money
are still taking the.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
Lions minus thirteen and a half.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
The over understarted off at fifty, dropped to forty seven,
seventy two percent of bets, seven percent of money on
the overall the money line ninety seven percent of bets,
ninety five percent of money on the Lions minus seven
fifty minus seven fifty.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
That is absurd.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
I do believe the Lions are going to win this one.
I'm not gonna be betting this one at all. That
spreads too big, even with Mac Jones at the helm
for the Jags. Sam Laporta out for the Lions in
this one, but I still think the Lions at home are.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Wait, wait, wait too much for the Jacks.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
Isn't this like the biggest line all season long in
the NFL?
Speaker 3 (22:47):
Like it's pretty close?
Speaker 2 (22:48):
I think so.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Wow listen.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
But that being said that the Jags are struggling noose
Trevor Lawrence, Matt Jones, no kay, thanks Zones.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
So that means as though it's going to be Lions y. Yeah,
the Lions are just relentless.
Speaker 6 (23:02):
And will this be the week that Doug Peterson loses
his job?
Speaker 2 (23:06):
I think they don't want to pay Himson at the house.
Speaker 4 (23:08):
Yeah, I think they're just making it coach, because out
of spite is like art, just make him suffer.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Je finish out. We're gonna make you miserables. You made us. Yeah,
Lions row on this one.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Packers at the Chicago Bears just one start off Packers
minus one out the Packers minus five and a half,
seventy four percent of bets, eighty seven percent of money
on the Packers in this one, you over understarted forty
four and a half, dropped to forty and a half,
seventy three percent of bets, only sixty percent of money
on the over there on the money line, ninety three
percent of bets, ninety percent of money on Green Bay.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
Caleb Williams got to struggle.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
They replaced the offensive coordinator Shane Walder and putting Thomas
Brown in there.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Now Brown comes off to McVeagh.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Tree with the Rams was also with Carolina briefly as well.
I don't know if that'll improve things or not, but
we'll see offenses tend to get a bit of a
rejuvenation with as we talked about, with with the interims
or change making coaching changes. It remains to be seen
if this will help. Matt Agrifruz keep his job. I
like the Packers on the road in this one. Now, Yeah,
a tough one here for the Bears.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
They just can't really protect Caleb Williams and firing Shane
Waldron and only make the situation worse for Caleb Williams
in his development. And Jeff Happiley is doing a great
job guy that I worked on in San Francisco with
that Packers defense.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
So Packers roll. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (24:21):
Since that Hail Mary debacle against the Commanders, the Bears
just haven't been able to put up any points on
offense nine and three points in the two following weeks.
I think they struggle again. That Packers defense looks good
this year. I like the Packers to win this one.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Raiders taking on the Dolphins down in Miami. This one
started off Dolphins minus six and a half out the
minus seven and a half. Now seventy percent of bets
eighty percent of money on Miami in this one. Over
under forty seven has dropped to forty four. Seventy one
percent of bets are on the over, but seventy four
percent of money is on the under.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
That is a forty five percent.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Difference in terms of where the tickets and the money
are sharps and the big money bets are all the
under in this one of forty four. That is that
is an interesting, interesting numbers. I guess nobody expects the
Raiders to do what he's scoring here from.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
The behind the scenes.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Ninety percent of bets ninety six percent of money on
the Miami in this one.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
I like Miami in this one as well.
Speaker 4 (25:16):
Well, they say the cole Win is a pirate and
it's going to be cold on the backside of the Raiders,
even though I know the idea is that they have
not lost six games in a row and has been
some time. But even with Nord Turner coming in, it's
not gonna change anything because all you have to do
is watch some of that old San Diego.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
Charges film and you know exactly what to do.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
So tour is back, Miami is looking great. Mike McDaniels
is running down the field with his white shoes and
you know design and glasses.
Speaker 6 (25:44):
I'm going with the Dolphins well, and as been has said,
it's Al Davis reincarnated with Mike McDaniels, right, the.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
Glasses, the track suits my and then you run the
ball with deep shots to the to the speedy receivers.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
Mike McDaniels is ripping off Al Davis's everything.
Speaker 6 (25:58):
Yeah, and here in Broncos country, who doesn't love the
Raiders making some bad history. Let's get in six losses
in a row. Yes, Dolphins, Row, Rams taking.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
On the Patriots, and sides barely moved. Start off Rams
minus four out to minus four and a half, sixty
five percent of bets, sixty five percent of money on
the Rams over under forty three and a half hasn't
moved either. Seventy percent excuse me, of bets are on
the over, but fifty three percent of money on the
under in this one of twenty three percent swing, there
expected not fireworks in this one. Ninety one percent of bets,
ninety six percent of money Rams money line at minus
(26:28):
one ninety eight. I love the Rams on the road,
even in the early game in this one, A little
Patriots man with Drake May they've been flirting around.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
With becoming a watchable football team.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
Well, the one thing we know that you should not
do is flip.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
So I'm not gonna flirt.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
With the Patriots on this one, but I'm going to
roll with the Rams because Karen Williams, I mean, you
just hand him the ball to watch just this, watch
him do work, and then you know, poking the cool
and Cooper cup. I don't think the Patriots have enough
to slow them down.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Rams.
Speaker 6 (26:55):
Yeah, and I don't know what happened with the Rams
last week against the Dolphins, but I think their offense
back on the track this week, and I think they win,
even though it's that early game on the East Coast.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Ram's a little susceptible against the run, and the Patriots
don't run the ball very well. From Andra Stevenson, Colts
take it on the Jets.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
This line has a moved a lick.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Started off Colts plus four, remains plus four fifty bets
fifty five percent of money on the Colts in this
one over under started forty six, dropped to forty three
and a half, seventy three percent of bets, but only
forty nine percent of money on the over.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Again another one in which the sharps are hammering the under.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
Here on the money line, seventy.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Seven percent of bets on the Jets, but only fifty
two percent of money as twenty five percent swing. There
a lot of sharp money, the sharp action on the
Colts and the under in this one.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
I don't know which way to go on it.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
I think I'm currently sitting on the Jets at home
on the Pro pick them, but they may be a
deflated football team given they're practically out of it for
all intents and purposes.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
You're playing for pride only at this point.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
Well, because you are playing for pride and jobs for
next season. This is why I feel as though Aaron
Rodgers and the bus are going to be really motivated.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
And more poorly.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
I mean, you have Aaron Rodgers, you trade it for
DeVante Adams. We haven't seen what DeVante Adams could bring
to the Jets team only just one game sample size.
So this is the perfect time to do it again
as a cold team that trying to figure out was
gonna be this starring quarterback. And I wonder, once again,
is what I'm gonna watch what Anthony Riss is to
tap out again?
Speaker 6 (28:17):
Yeah, and I think he's learned his lesson. I don't
think he does that again. There was a quote earlier
from earlier this week from him that he kind of
I think he's starting to get it the role of
a quarterback one and be in the face of a franchise.
But I still think they're gonna lose on the road
to the Jets, and that's gonna help the Broncos in
that playoff picture.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
It's tough the Jets struggle against the Raw and having
richardson there and Taylor run and Angry could open up
the run.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
We'll see how that game shakes out. We'll skip the
falcons of Broncos from now.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Come back to that one in the late slate, Seahawks
taking on the forty nine Ers. Yeah, it'll start off
plus nine down to plus six and a half on
this one. Fifty six percent of bet sixty percent of
money on the Niners over under started forty six and
a half out to forty eight.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
Now sixty three.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Percent of bet seventy five percent of money on the over,
ninety five percent of bets ninety two percent of money
on Niners on the money line. The Niners could have
some players out in this one. Got some questionables. DK
Metcaffy is back for the Seahawks in this one as well.
Probably why you're seeing the line ship still like the
forty nine ers at home in this one.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Yeah, I definitely love the forty nine ers home.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
This is the second game for Christ McCaffrey and his
team in his return.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
And here's the crazy.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
Thing about the NFC West. This was a division that
Seattle dominated it for several years, but it seems as
though tides are changing and now the forty nine ers
are dominating. And for me, brock Purty is still one
of the top quarterbacks in the league, even though most
people don't consider him that way.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
But I'm gonna roll with the San Francisco forty nine Ers.
Speaker 4 (29:41):
They can't continue to keep the momentum rolling downhill.
Speaker 6 (29:44):
Well, whatever the narrative is around rock Perty, he's gonna
get paid a lot next year.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
And I think they win this game.
Speaker 6 (29:50):
I think it's gonna be a really good, close divisional game.
I think the Seahawks cover, but I like the forty
nine Ers to pull it out.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
I like where your head's out on that one Chiefs
versus Bills.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
This one started. If Chief's minus one, Chiefs are.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Now plus two and a half.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
The Bills now favored at home eighty one percent of bets,
eighty four percent of money on Kansas City plus two
and a half over under Charlotte forty eight drop to
forty six seventy eight percent of bets, seventy eight percent
of money on the over, on the money line, fifty
nine percent of bets on Kansas City, sixty two percent
of the money. A lot of people like Kansas City
on the road at Buffalo.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
I think this could be the one. I think the
Bills could take them. I think they could be looking
at that Broncills game saying, hey, we could take these dudes.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
They got us in the playoffs couple of years ago.
It's our turn.
Speaker 3 (30:30):
Now let's go Buffalo. Hell no, that's not gonna happen.
When you think about the.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
Cheese, they have been the huge, the biggest hurdle for
Josh Allen and Buffalo Bills, and they still have not
figured out a way to beat Patrick Mahomes. And think
about how Patrick Mahomes has won like six of the
games they won this season, all in the fourth quarter
by a chance of luck. I don't know if he
has before I leave Clover or or a lepicon in
(30:59):
the back drop. I don't know what it is, but
they're always lucky. So I'm gonna row with the Chiefs.
Speaker 6 (31:03):
Josh Allen three and zero against Patrick Mahomes and the
regular season zero to three in the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (31:09):
I think this is.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
The week that the Chiefs lose.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
You give me the Bills at home.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Always said that Grant Smith was a smart man.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
Bengals taking on the Chargers Sunday Night Football. This game
start of Bengals minus two. Now it's Bengals plus two.
Eighty four percent of bets, ninety one percent of money
on the Bengals over under forty five out to forty
six and a half, seventy one percent of bets, eighty
four percent of money on the over. On the money line,
fifty eight percent of bets are on the Bengals, ninety
six percent of money.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
On the Bengals.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
This is one of those ones where all the sharps
and the heavy hitters are betting the Bengals on this one.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
I love the.
Speaker 3 (31:39):
Chargers defense, the Chargers at home. If it turns into.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
A shootout, it's gonna be the Bengals. But if the
Chargers can play their brand of football, they win this
at home. Give me the Chargers.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
I'm gonna have to row with the Charges because here's
one thing, and you said it perfectly, because looking at
how the Charges play, the play defense is not gonna
be similar to what we saw last week when the
Bengals based.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Off against very poor.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
As Baltimore Ravens secondary Jamar Chase.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
That's all you have to do. Charge is fine number one,
and you shut down offense. Yeah, this one makes me nervous.
Speaker 6 (32:12):
The Chargers culture has certainly changed under Harball. My head
says Chargers, but my heart says, who today?
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Give me the Bengals?
Speaker 2 (32:21):
Yeah, oh, Grant so predictable.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
The Texan has taken on the child boys.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Texans started off plus three, there minus seven and a half.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
Now sixty nine percent of bets, ninety two percent of
money on the Texans is some Monday night game.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
Obviously.
Speaker 1 (32:33):
He's over runner started forty nine, dropped to forty one
and a half, seventy seven percent of bets, sixty four
percent of money on the over on the money line,
ninety four percent of BET's ninety six percent of money
on the Texans. I'm all over Houston with Cooper Rush
and or Trey Lance quarterback in Dallas.
Speaker 4 (32:45):
Yeah, they say foods rush in, and that's exactly what's
happening with the Dallas Cowboys with Cooper Rush. I mean
that organization has kind of dropped drastically over the past
couple of years, and with Dak Prescott being out and
people started a conversation about Mike mc karty not.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Being there next year.
Speaker 4 (33:01):
Yeah, this is a team that's just trying to find
a way to survive the season. But I'm gonna road
with the Texans because they need this big win.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (33:08):
I think this is a big win for the Texans too.
I just think it's a matter of how much they
win by give me the Texans.
Speaker 1 (33:16):
Finally, Falcons taking on the Broncos here in Denver.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
This one start off with the Falcons a three and
a half point favorites. Now they're two and a half
point dogs.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
Sixty four percent of bets, fifty five percent of money
on Atlanta plus two and a half over under started
forty four and a half, dropped to forty three and
a half, seventy four percent of bet sixty one percent
of money on the over on the money line, sixty
seven percent of bets on the Broncos, but only forty
nine percent of money. These are sharks and the heavy
hitters are hammered the Falcons of plus one fifteen. I
like Denver in this one to win at home.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
I like Denver to win. I like Denver to cover Brook.
Speaker 4 (33:44):
The Broncos have been riding high based on what their
defense has done this season. I don't see let down
on Sunday against Kirk Cousins, who wears Cemit shoes. So
it's gonna be sect town Sectal for Dondo and the boys.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
And we'll roll with the Denver Broncos.
Speaker 6 (34:02):
I don't know what the over under is on Broncos SAX,
but give me the over and give me the Broncos
to write the ship, stay in that playoff picture and
get the win over the Falcons.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
I'm gonna say twenty seven twenty.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Let's go Broncos. I love it. Thank you Nick, thank
you Gret. We come back. We're gonna preview this thing.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Talk a little Falcons, Broncos Yester, Broncos country not I
can't wear
