Let's go out to the KA Commas Sparrel hotline and
bring on our guy Parker Gabriel from the Denver Post Marker.
It's a Victory Tuesday and mannight. It feels pretty good.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Yeah, it is. I'm surprised you're like not in Mexico
or something already.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Who says I'm not? Uh, you know we the magic
of radio as you can broadcast anywhere.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
That's true. So what you're telling me is that you're
sitting on a beach in Cabo already and the bye
week had just started.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
I have a martini in my hand right now, and
I don't know why I'm drinking martini in Mexico.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
That sounds stupid, but that's the lie I'm going with.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
I mean, whatever blows your vote.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I should have gone Mohito or something. You know, any
other m drink I think would have worked there. But whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Speaking of the m's that are drinking it, Marvin Mims
doubling up the ms there ninety three yard house call
bo with a perfect hole shot against inverted two. And
it felt good to see our speediest receiver get vertical.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
It did. Yeah, And what's interesting about it is they
ran the exact same play, different scenario, right like they
were trying to kind of get a two minute drive,
last gas, like last fifteen seconds I think in the
first half against Carolina, both threw basically the same ball,
but Marvin wasn't looking for it, and it was sort
of in the depths of the Marvin Mims frustration of

(01:52):
the first half of the season. And so when I
asked Marvin about it in the locker room last night,
he said, yeah, yea, it was the exact same play,
and it just sort of like, I think it shows
you a couple of things, Like, first of all, you
know the competence that bo Nicks has to throw that ball.
But I think also it shows that the role that
Marvin's them playing the last few weeks has been good

(02:14):
for his competence and it's probably helped his play as
a receiver. Like it he just when you get the
ball in your hands a few times a game, and
when you know you're going to get the ball in
your hands a few times a game, it's easier to
play with competence and it's easier to like make big plays.
And so all of that combined and the fact that
he had like basically missed and not looked for the

(02:36):
ball in a similar situation five weeks ago, I think
probably made it feel actually good for him. But you know,
scoring a ninety three hour touchdowns is going to feel
ptty good no matter what the circumstances are.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Yeah, that will.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Crazy game all the way around.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Two picks sixties by the Broncos defense, Jerry Judy going
off for two thirty five and a touchdown. We mentioned
a ninety three yard completion of Marvin Mims. We had
the CIA on the sideline. It was game had every
It felt like a a Sebastian skit from SNL or
whatever that Bill Hater character was, that this game had
everything it did.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
It was funny because Marvin got asked if he'd ever
played in a game like that, and he just sort
of laughed and he was like, yeah, I mean like
every other week at Oklahoma basically. But that's what it
felt like. I mean, it felt like an old Wide Open,
you know, Pack twelve, the Big twelve games in a
lot of ways, and it was like it was everything.
It was the full James Winston experience. It was the

(03:29):
Jerry Judy revenge game, which then ironically like comes in
a loss, even though he was like obviously very happy
with how he played. It had like the defense getting
shredded but also scoring fourteen points. Like it just was.
It was sort of a banger, and it also was
just really bizarre.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
But I think the thing to take away from this,
at least from from my perspective, is that the offense
can pick up the slack.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
When the defense is letting out.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Yes, I know the defense had three interceptions, a game
sealer or two pick sixties, but in a large plat
the defense was letting the team down on the offense
was finding ways in what turned into a shootout to
keep the team afloat. And that's something as we head
down the stretch that I think we probably needed confidence
in having seen the defense carrying more than enough water
all throughout the season.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Yeah, they hadn't won a game like the offense. I
think I'm trying to think now. It's it's a late
high week, so there's been a lot of games, but
I can't think off the top of my head of
a game that it's like, Yes, the offense won this game,
and that is that is largely the way it went
on Monday night. And I think the other thing about
it is like I was standing there with everybody else

(04:38):
in the locker room talking to Courtland Sutton after the game,
and it I've only been on the b three years.
But it struck me that, like I have stood right
there at his locker and listened to him try to
sort of like explain how it was that the Broncos
lost that game or some version of that game a
lot of times, and they have. One of my thinking

(04:59):
ways the game was that they they've essentially turned into
a team that more times than not finds ways to
win that game rather than them come up short in it.
And that in and of itself is like doesn't really
matter how you get there, if it's forty one to
thirty two or if it's ten to nine in New
York or whatever. But like they've just sort of got
to the point where, you know, push comes to shove,

(05:21):
you sort of trust that they're going to win that game,
you know, their fair share, and even that's a lot
different than it was, you know, or than it's been
for the last several years.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Yeah, I'll talk about Parker Gabriel from the Denver Post.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Yeah, you know, a lot of people play to the
Falcons game and say the offense won that, but in reality,
the defense held.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
That vaunted Falcons offense to six points. They didn't need the.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Offensive explosion, and that this was one where they needed it.
And I think that for me and maybe a lot
of people getting that on the resume, I think as
you head down the stretch with something that's like, okay,
all right, we might have a complete team here that's
able to start pulling this stuff off. Biggest game in
probably a few years, probably the biggest game in den
Verse since the Super Bowl fifty run coming this not

(06:02):
this weekend, but the weekend after after the buy both teams,
by the way, coltsan Bronco's on the by here.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
This game, I mean, you have to have this one.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
The Colts are the only other threat you really have
for that last seed, and their stretch run is incredibly easy.
They get home games against the Titans and Jags, in
an away.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Game against the Giants.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Meanwhile, the Broncos get a short week game in LA
against the Chargers. You got the Cincinnati Bengals and you
got the Kansas City Chiefs. Those are about as opposite
schedules as you can get. The Broncos need this one
against the Indnapolis Coute. This is the biggest game in
Denver since the run up the Super Bowl fifty.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Yeah, yeah, And I mean obviously because it's head to
head like it counts double and if the Broncos win,
then I think, I think if the Broncos win, then
they are only one Miami loss away from clinching a spot.
So it really is like you get to this point
where you know, the best way to approach that three
game stretch after Indianapolis of playing on the road again

(07:00):
against the Chargers and Bengals and then finishing with Kansas
City at home. The way you want to play that
is with as little pressure on you as possible, obviously,
and also like at that point you could be playing
with house money about trying to move off from the
seventh spot. You know it's maybe not likely, but at
least to be given a run, Whereas like if you lose,

(07:20):
then not only have you, you know, given up the
tiebreaker against the Colts, you might just drag Miami back
into the picture. You might even drag Cincinnati back into
the picture. Although I keep waiting for Cincinnati to reel
off a bunch of wins in a row because they're
so explosive and they keep not and that their defense
is just sort of a mess at this point, and

(07:42):
so like it's just one of those where it's like,
if you get it, you're in complete control and you're
not very far from clinching a spot in the postseason.
And if you lose it, you have just opened the
door not only for Indianapolis, but at least for Miami too.
And so yeah, I mean it's it's it's not like
they're out if they lose, but being able to come

(08:03):
pretty close to making sure you're in where a win
should be plenty of motivation coming up and buy.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Yeah, and I mean it really, it really this one
decides it win or loss. I mean it really, even
if you win this one and lose out, you still
have potential to make the playoffs. It's it's it really
is that kind of game in your only competition again
Indy here, you know, coming in so really a huge game.
It was nice to see a big performance out of
Julia McLoughlin and then to stick with it enough for
him to really sort of succeed and not just on

(08:29):
toss plays.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Mean, he was running between the tackles and running really well.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
He was. Yeah, and it was it was I thought
he had some jews, like you said, between the tackles,
he always shows he gives me those glimpses sometimes like
he can do a little bit of everything, and that
I know they don't think of him as you know,
a three out, true, three down back, a guy that
they're gonna you know, get, you know, eighteen or twenty
touches a game too on a weekend, week out basis.
But it really is, like I think, even if you

(08:54):
end up settling into a two man rotation or even
if you're looking beyond this year where you know whether
it's him and Audrick Estime or him and Javanti Williams
on the stretch here, like you don't. One of the
things that they've gotten in trouble with with Jalil early
in his career is when he's in the game, the
defense has a pretty good idea of what's coming. And

(09:15):
the more you can at least get by with occasionally
running in between the tackles, you know, running some of
the outside zone stuff with them, all of that, like,
the more of the playbook is open and and and
then the more effective he is, because you know, the
defense can't just like, oh, you know, here comes toss
and so that to me, like I thought the picture

(09:37):
of him and Audric Estime looked pretty good. I understand,
you know, wanting to continue to get Julil touch or
Gavonte touches and his his you know, effectiveness and utility
in the passing game. But it just to me like,
I don't I'd be very interested to see what the
running back rotation looks like coming off the bye week

(09:58):
when they have some extra time to think about it.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Put it that way, Yeah, I mean by myself as well,
I hopefully.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
That they're able to stick with the consistency that they've
been able to do on that so far.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Talking about Parker Gabriel at Parker J. Gabriel on Twitter.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
As we look at some of the late season award
type stuff, you know, there's been a lot of hype,
a lot of run up for bow Knicks. Maybe getting
that offensive rookie the yearly Jade Daniels probably is the
only competition. Maybe a Brock Bowers or Bucky Irving sneaks
in there with a big run down the end, but
it's probably probably one of.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
The quarterbacks there.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
But on the other side of the ball, Nick Benito
is putting together a defensive Player of the Year type
season so far and yet is getting no hype for it.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Why do we think that.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Is Well, I think part of it is because he's
in the midst of the breakout, right and and for
I don't know exactly why. I guess because you know,
people pay attention, but a lot of people don't pay
as a closer attention as they say they do. Like
a lot of times the trails sometimes by a month,
sometimes by a season. You know, a lot of times

(10:55):
with the guy, like a lot of times the guy's
first Pro Bowl, for example, will come the year after
he actually deserved his first Pro Bowl birth. That's just
sort of the way it goes sometimes. And that's probably
a little bit of what's happening with Nick. I think
as people see him, uh play too, you're like, oh
my gosh, it's you know, it's not seven sacks. It's
not eight sacks. The guy's got eleven sacks in the
last eleven games. I mean, he's he's doing work. And

(11:17):
and I wrote about this last week and and it
was nice to see him. You know. The pickticks obviously
is a is a splash play, no doubt, But like
he just he's doing everything. You know, he's not he's
not Bradley Cubb size, but he's he's figured out a
way to be a decent run defender, and he plays
really hard and he knows what he's doing. Now he's

(11:37):
a smart player. And then obviously he's special as a
pass rusher, and so he's got the whole he's got
the whole range of tools. And you can tell, just
you can tell that his teammates think that he's the
guy in the front seven that when they need a
play made, they got a bunch of guys capable of
making the play. But it's getting to a point where

(12:01):
those guys you can just sort of feel like, oh,
Nickel make a play, and the last, you know, most
of this season, when they need one, he makes one.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Talking with Parker Gabriel Parker J.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Gabriel on Twitter from the Denver Post, as we as
we look at this, the one big glaring I think
thing out of yesterday obviously how much this team actually
misses Riley Moss. And I'm not sure that that's something
that people would have been banging the table like we're
in trouble that he goes down at the you know,
during training camp. But as we sit here today, it
certainly looked pretty bad last night. What what can we

(12:33):
expect and will Rolly Moss potentially be back for this
Colts game.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Yeah, I think there's a chance. You know, normally mco like,
normally you're in the four week range. Obviously, corner is
a position where you know you're not just it's not
straight line. You have to be able to change directions
and all that. So you know, maybe it's Indy, Maybe
it's then you got the short rest obviously to the Chargers,
so like, you know, somewhere in that range. Obviously they'd

(12:58):
be really happy to get him back. I'll be really interested,
you know, Like obviously Levi Wallace had a bad night
at the office. Like there's no there's no reason to
beat around the bush. That's that's how it was. I
thought he played okay when he's been in there, you know,
earlier in the season. So what's gonna be interesting is, like,
was the move to Chris Abrams Strain a rookie who's

(13:21):
up for the first time in his career because Riley Moss,
you know, he's active on game day for the first
time in his career because Riley Moss is hurt, and
they throw him in there to play opposite Pat like
in crunch time, you know, like on the Possession where
Jakwan McMillan, you know, had to pick six like it's
Chris abrams Strain in there for Levi Wallace. And so

(13:41):
is that the way they're going coming out of the
by if Riley's not back? Like they've shown a willingness
to put Tamari Mathis on David and Joku and third
down when they're in sub and played Chris abram Straine
like literally in his crunch time that they've had this season.
And so those those are interesting options. But I think

(14:03):
like the bottom line is the sooner they get Rally
Moss back, the better we're all involved in.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Well, right, I think that that is the case.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
And certainly, you know, right Levitt Wallace looked like a
decent red zone type corner in training camp. Certa was
bo Nix's nemesis as he picked him off quite a
few times, and you know in training camp, but the
long speed clearly wasn't there, and that.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Was on display last night.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
You've got to get one of these younger guys, whether
the Mets mathis, whether that's abram Strain to to step up,
especially between the twenties when you can't you know you
just can't put Wallace in those situations. Parker appreciated it
as always enjoy your your bye week, victory bye week,
and look forward to this penultimate matchup against the Cults here.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
In a week.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Yeah, thanks the absolutely take care Parker Gabriel. The Denver
Polish would come back and go around recap the week
the West. You listen to Broncos Country Night, Kaw.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
I appreciate Steve Atwater, Ryan Michael romy Bean all for
joining us.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Parker Gabriel as well, missed any part of all that.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
You can get that at Broncos Country Tonight, dot Com,
slash Podcast or anywhere you get your podcast. Apply tunes.
I totally free and awesome. I heart radio app Well,
we're getting it, taking it for granted. Episode soon was
shamed him into it. I thought I was gonna have
to bring David Smitherson back. Five six six nine Zeros
text line, You guys want to get involved in the conversation.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Let's go around in the league and take a look
at the league.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
That was The Bearers took on the Lions what feels
like a lifetime ago. Last gave Matt Eberfluse no longer
with the uh with the Bears in this one, and
I think we all know why.

Speaker 5 (15:35):
Time is taken away. Down to twenty five seconds. The
Bears are on a field goal range. They have one
time out. It's third and forever. Williams at the line,
tapping his head. We're down to fifteen seconds here, Caleb
Williams out of the shotgun.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Third and a long time is moving.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Gotta go under ten seconds now, Oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Back to Williams. He's ready to throw.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
He'll throw it down the middle of the field and
complete at the horn. The game is over.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
The Bears don't even get to fourth down. They leave
to Trent.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
With a timeout in their pocket.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
And that that is why Matty Eberflus say is no
longer there. That call courtesy of Westwood One and Jason Bennetti.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah, what an.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Absolute just disaster of an ending for the Bears there.
You had a time out, you had two plays, and
you just basically just gave yourself one play. Like at
that point you got to know what the time situation is.
And it's Caleb Williams. I mean, I understand your rookie,
but you got to understand what the clockey is there, right,
You know with that left and even just you call
something an angle route for the running back, something to
get you halfway there at that point in time ends

(16:42):
up being twenty three. Twenty field goal ties it for
you and you cost yourself even that.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
So it was absolute disaster.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Mattive Fluff's era finally over and the Bears are back
in the quarterback market. And the next game on the
slate from Thanksgiving, we.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Thought it was going to be a Drew simber to remember,
but it was not.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Rush out of the gum.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
The second golf at the four, and they delayed Dandolf
to down over punches over top. He's in tockdown.

Speaker 6 (17:06):
Rico Dawdle with this first rushing score of the season
of the Cowboys pulling away.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
Yeah, and Rico Dawdle scoring about thirty points on my
fantasy bench this week. That call courtesy of John Savak
with Westwood One.

Speaker 7 (17:21):
Oh my goodness, yeah, Lock, just you were really resonating
you with how bad that New York Giants offensive line
was Lock, of course, who locked The former Broncos quarterback
led the Giants in rushing four attempts fifty seven.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Yards, going a twenty eight yarder.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
He did have a touchdown betweeny one to thirty two,
passing for one hundred and seventy eight, had an interception
lost to fumble as well.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
It was as a middling day for Drew Locke, but
the offensive line of the Giants, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Who's back there, Daniel Jones, Drew Lock maybe the clone
of Joe Montana and they're still not doing anything on
that one final game on the slate for Thanksgiving, Dolphins
taking on the Packers.

Speaker 6 (17:57):
Love gets the shot, dout Step makes the hand off,
bros left hop by j Wait gets a block, runs
across the five into the episode touchdown Packers second of
the night per Shanan Reid, this one for twelve yards out.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
Yeah, and I was very wrong with picking the Dolphins
in that cold weather game last week.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
God, someone tried to tell you.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Sir, you did that call courtesy of Ryan Radkey with
Westwood One.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
That game was never close. I think the closest it
ever got was was the opening kickoff. After that was
fourteen to three, and then it was just off to
the races thirty to eleven, then finally thirty to seventeen
on a token touchdown with three all eight.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Laugh but at that point they'd give it up.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
I mean that the thing was was severely over at
that point too. It did have three hundred and sixty
five yards passing two touchdowns in that one, but Packers very.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Easily walked away with that.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
We had a Black Friday game, Chiefs taking all the Raiders,
and we'll continue talking about that horseshoe.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
The Kansas City Chiefs are carting around in their pocket.

Speaker 6 (18:51):
Third and two of the snap goes awry, Thepaul loose
on the field. There's a flag down as well.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
It's scooped up underneath I believe by Nick Bolton.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
But did the play stop before it started? Five officials
in a huddle. Here we go. Chris Jones is signaling
that they got the ball for the offense. The Pills decline.
The Chiefs did recover the backers cross and take over
the first down.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
The Chiefs escape with another win win with our luck
run out that call courtesy of Kevin Coogler. With west
Wood one with one second remaining in that game, Las
Vegas had a.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
Sixty two percent chance to win. I thought for sure
there was no way they could move it.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Ain't o'conne twenty three to thirty five three forty yards
and two touchdowns. H Sincere McCormick, who has been a
revelation at running back for the Raiders twelve carries sixty
four yards at Maridulla ten thirty nine as well.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
On the Kansas City side.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Of things, as you know, Picecko got back in there
seven carries for forty four, Patty Mahomes twenty six or
forty six for three to zero six and a touchdown.
Hopkins led the way with ninety receiving yards brought Bowers
and fu forty in a tunny for the Raiders, continues
to try to flirt with that Rookie of the Year
conversation and breaking some of Mike Ditka's records along the way,
but alas Kansas City comes away with another one.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Chargers and Falcons.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Another game you thought was maybe going one way there
at the end and then went the other.

Speaker 6 (20:16):
They take the snap looking right, throwing right in intercepted
left sideline thirty twenty car heap.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Still touchdowp Chargers. The Chargers don't charge her anymore.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
That call courtesy of Matt money Smith with Kysr.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Kurk Cousins four interceptions in the game, blowing an otherwise
great game for Jon Robinson twenty six carries, one hundred
and two yards and a touchdown. Rayme McCloud at four
catches ninety five yards. Drake London nine catches eighty six yards.
Bijonde also had six catches for thirty three through the air. Meanwhile,
the Chargers really didn't get anything going on offense, only
had one hundred and forty seven yards out of Justin

(20:56):
Herbert Gus Edwards six carries for thirty two on the ground,
come out of a doll for twenty They got nothing
outside of Lad McCaughey's nine catches for one hundred and
seventeen yards.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Who was basically the entire offense for the game. What a,
what a, What a fascinating game. Another fascinating game. Pittsburgh
Steelers taking on Grassmas Bengals.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
Wilson gets a snap looking now under drest.

Speaker 6 (21:17):
Will fling to his right, fine fire.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Mooth inside to five had a touchdown four pet Fryer
moot fall. Who's better to get loop that the frior moon? Yeah,
that one was so bad it could have been mine.
Love that call.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
The courtesy of W Dve rob King and Craig woltlee
Let Russ cook Man.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
Russ is not dacy. He's cooking. He's not just cooking,
he's baking. He's frying things. He's stir frying things in
his walk. Four hundred and fourteen yards, three touchdowns for Russ.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
Could have been more if the opening thrown.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
A cam Taylor Brett had thrown George.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Pickens to the ground. Is that not DPI?

Speaker 1 (21:55):
I had no clue out. Wasn't a defensive pass interference?
Could have been way way were that it was?

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Pickens finished seventy.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Four yards at a touchdown, Friarmos sixty eight in a touchdown.
Calvin Austin got in there for a touchdown. Nijie Harris
seventy five on the ground. The Steelers the Cincinnati Bengals
a dubious mark here as they score thirty eight points
to lose. Say they have four games this season with
thirty or more points and in a loss that is

(22:22):
four games with thirty more points get a loss. That
is more of the rest of the league combined. Who
has three total games in that one two day. It
just just kind of mourned it out there at this point.
Texan's taking on the Jaguars, and.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
There was some bad blood this one.

Speaker 6 (22:37):
Stroud shotgun one pack, Darrow bunch formation right.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
CJ takes the snap. Here's pressure Stroud blowing to his right.
He's got his man, Schultz. Five touchdown Houston. CJ to Schultz.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
And the storyline of course coming out of this one,
the hit on Trevor Lawrence and the suspension for Al
Shaier that call courtesy of Mark VanderMeer with kilt.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Yeah, there's a lot of controversy with that.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
You know, it's not like he's a traditionally dirty player
or anything like that.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
And the irony of John Runyan writing a letter that
he did.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Runyan, who of course was known as a dirty player
who made dirty hits throughout his tenure.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
You know, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
I mean, we want to protect the players, but at
the same time, you know, Trevor Lawrence is a guy
who takes off and runs and if you put that
fake leg on him and you know you don't get
down fast enough. Hey, you know, I don't want to
say it's a price you pay, but you put yourself
at risk for it. I tend to come down in
the middle of this one. I don't think the player
of the hit was particularly dirty. I think it was
a penalty inducing. I don't think it was three games
suspension worthy. So you know, I had some problems with

(23:36):
almost both ways that was done. The Texas, of course,
ended up winning by a field goal twenty three twenty.
Mac Jones came on in relief of Trevor Lawrence was
twenty a thirty two to two touchdowns, no picks. Trevor
was already having a bad day four of ten forty
one yards on an interception, but mac Jones comes on
and keeps it close. Parker Washington with the big day
for the jag six catches, one hundred three yards and
a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Cardinals take it on the Vikings.

Speaker 6 (24:00):
Second and two three Cardinals five takes the snap, four
man rush, Sam took the.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Right cut end.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
Show Timeken Aaron Jones safe just dest.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
For last that called courtesy of Paul Allen with kfa
Inn and man. I thought the Cardinals were gonna sneak
away with that win on the road.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
I need two.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Minnesota ends up winning twenty three to twenty two on
the touchdown from Sam Darnald to Ara Jones with one
eighteen left in the game. The Arizona Cardinals were in
charge of this game most of the second half, and
they were in eighty five percent eighty six percent to
win the game with about a minute left, a little
over a minute left, minute half left in the game,
and wound up the Viking going the Viking's way. Kyler

(24:44):
Murray thirty one to forty five, two sixty in a touchdown,
but two interceptions really kind of cost them in this game.
Trey McBride twelve catches, ninety six yards on the Viking side,
Donald twenty one to thirty one two thirty five to
two tonnies.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Not much going on the ground.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Twenty two yards out of Cam Akers, twenty two yards
out of Ara Jones, twenty two yards out of Sam Darnolds,
as everybody going for twenty two yards. By the way,
ty Ty Chandler had two carries for two yards. That
twenty two motif repeating throughout that game.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Seahawks taking on the Jets. I kind of thought the
Jets might be able to pull this thing off. But
Splitz is coming. Throw we tight pick off. Leo Williams
coming to your time. He's running like a race horse.
He's at midfield turns up. Feel that blockers, Holy smoker.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
You kidding Leo Williams, He's gonna take it in for
a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Seyhawks.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Nothing better than a voice crack and an epic call
that one. Steve ravel Kiro looked all Jets early. Seattle
kicked off after Gino got them on the board. At
fourteen seven, Seattle kicks off. Keenane Wanghu returns the kickoff
for a ninety nine yard touchdown and put the Jets
up twenty one seven.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Jets didn't score another point the rest of the way.
Seahawks win it. Twenty six twenty one.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Tennessee Titans taking on the Washington Commanders, and this game
was close. Kicks off, quick thrill, carry the party to
down town again this second and a half that taxes
the terrible part.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Win it on the slat.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Look it.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
That Braham Weinstein with wb ig And this was my
surviver pick in my league this week, and I.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Felt very comfortable from the kickoffs.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Yeah, this game was close until they kicked off and
then Washington ran it out to a twenty one nothing
lead in the first quarter twenty eight nothing. The first
possession of the second quarter, the Titans finally got on
the board with Will Levis throwing to Nick Westbrook Heine
late in the second quarter twenty eight seconds left to
go in the half, but final of forty two to nineteen.
Washington was all over the happless Titans in this one.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
And in fact, I.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Believe Washington was ninety nine percent to win this game
with nineteen seconds to remaining in the first quarter.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
By those analytics charts.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
So yeah, Ducks taking on the Carolina Panthers, and this.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Game had a little zany it will be a.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Thirty yard field goal to lead a good snap the spot,
a little old to kick his airborne in is.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
Airborne, it's airborne. It is God.

Speaker 6 (27:09):
Box win, box win Fox bait the Carolina Panthers at overtime.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
Yeah, close game there, NFC South divisional game that called
courtesy of Gene Deckerhoff with w f US.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
The Carolina Panthers were seventy seven percent to win this
game at the end of the third quarter. By three
fifteen left to the fourth quarter of the Bucks.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Were ninety two percent to win.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
Then just a minute or two minutes later, the bucket
the Carolina Panthers were eighty eight percent to win it
with thirty seconds remaining in the game, then the Tampa
Bay Bucks were eighty percent to win it two seconds
just a little bit into overtime, five fifty eight remaining,
then Carolina was ninety percent to win it the three
forty four left in overtime before Tampa Bay finally came
back with facebook love but to kick the field goal

(27:50):
to win it.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
It was absolutely zany there at the end.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Bucky Irving had twenty five carries for one hundred and
fifty two yards and a touchdown and secretly might be
the secret fourth guy in this Rookie of the Year race.
By the way, nobody's paying attention to what Bucky Irving
is doing. He's a monster out there. Outside the quarterbacks
and Brock Bowers, He's the other the guy.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
Also chipped in three catches for thirty three as well.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Breaker Mayfield twenty one thirty three, two thirty.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Five, a touchdown, two picks on the day.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Brice Young so I'd me playing respectable football twenty six
to forty six to ninety eight touchdown also had three
carries for seventeen and a touchdown as well. Adam Feelin
eight catches ninety nine yards at a touchdown, including a
spectacular one amazing grab in that with Rams taking on
the Saints in the battle of who could care less?

Speaker 2 (28:34):
Stafford in the shotgun angle from the seven. They shoot it.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Down the line right side.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Pooka's got it.

Speaker 6 (28:39):
He finds his way in behind his box, painting the
way to Paydirts touchdown, Puka Nakua touchdown.

Speaker 4 (28:47):
La Ram still finding a way to stay in that playoff.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Picture of that call courtesy of JB.

Speaker 5 (28:51):
Long.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
With KSPN, Rams get back to six and six, The
New Orleans Saints, who started the season two at ELI,
were lating everybody on fire and dropped a four.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Eight on the season.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Stafford only one hundred and eighty three yards, two touchdowns,
Kyraen Williams fifteen carries one hundred and four to touchdown there,
Derek Carr.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
Twenty four to thirty seven a touchdown. Alvin Kamara what
more can he possibly do?

Speaker 1 (29:12):
Twenty three carries one hundred and twelve yards. He also
had four receptions in that one as well. Taysom Hill
though got hurt. He's gonna be done for the year there.
That's a big blow to the Saints who were already readling.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
Uh. They fall to four and a game of the
Week Eagles take on the Ravens.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
I was all over Philly in this one, to the
laugher of everyone else around here. Paul up at twenty
five with the regulars, hurts, this time to Barkley off
the right side.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
BRIT's the tackle. He's at the fifteen to the type
of five touchdown.

Speaker 4 (29:44):
Say what, Barklay says, up twenty five downs, giving you
a credit where credit is due?

Speaker 2 (29:51):
You were you called that one?

Speaker 4 (29:52):
That one with Meryl Reese from w IP is Saquon
Barkley or MVP?

Speaker 1 (29:56):
Well you call him Saquon Barkley, I call him Say
gone Barkley because he'd gone for the house the touchdown
twenty three carries one hundred and seventy yards one touchdown there.
He also had two catches for ten yards as well.
Aj Brown, the big receiver for the Eagles, five catches
sixty six yards there. Derek Hevery nineteen carries eighty two
yards and losing effort for the Ravens forty nine ers Bills.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
It's a game in the snow.

Speaker 6 (30:16):
Here's the snap.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Allen back Fire's left side.

Speaker 6 (30:19):
Cooper makes a one handed catch, pitches it back to Allen.
Allen racing dive to the left pylon and he's in touchdown.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Bills a lot of play. Alan threw it behind Cooper.

Speaker 6 (30:33):
He made a one handed catch as he was falling
to the ground.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
He pitched it back to Allen and Alan.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
Went diving in I call courtesy of Chris Brown, wgr
and man passing and a receiving touchdown for Josh Allen.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Disaster for the Niners in this one. They lose McCaffrey
for the year as well. Buffalo continues to roll looking
for that number one seed.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
