Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bloup Pedros on news radio six hundred co Go. We
are live in San Diego. Thank you for tuning in.
Good to have you along with us. Happy Wednesday. All right,
let's get right to our top story. Two National guardsmen
were shot and injured literally steps from the White House
amid a very crowded scene, and they are in critical condition.

(00:22):
And the suspect has been apprehended, also shot, and now
the terrorism word is being used. Jack Cronin joins us
from the news radio six hundred co Go newsroom. Jack,
what's the latest.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
So this is from NBC News Lou and I'll read
you the report that they have just sent out says
the FBI will initially investigate the shooting is a possible
active terrorism. The officials say that the suspect, who is
alleged to have used a handgun, has been initially identified
as an Afghan national, with law enforcements looking to confirm
all of his identity before they release any motive in

(00:55):
the nature of the investigation.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
But that is where that's headed right now.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Unfortunately, this was an m Bush style, targeted style attack
where both members of the National Guard who were stationed
in DC from West Virginia were shot in the head.
It was near a busy transit stop, as you mentioned,
a few blocks from the White House, and the White
House is put on lockdown momentarily. The President is in Florida,
so he is operating remotely as he is issuing more
orders for more members.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Of the Guard to head to d C, about five
hundred more.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
But those two Guard members who are in critical condition
right now, they were initially reported to have been killed
in this targeted attack by the Governor of West Virginia,
but right now they are in critical condition at last
report in the hospital and the condition here well, to
see what happens later on tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Yeah, we're getting so much information. This happened like just
shortly before one o'clock, and so there are be four
o'clock DC time, and that's a busy time as everybody
is wrapping up and getting out of town and headed
to the Metro, which is where this. I know exactly
from looking at the footage. I know exactly where this is.
Do we know if we know it's an Afghan national?

(02:00):
Was he here on a visa or was he here illegally?
That has to be known.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Yeah, I'm sure that the FBI will let us know
here within the next few hours. They don't want to
prematurely stay. But that's the NBC report is that the
persons from Afghanistan. We don't know if they're here legally
or illegally, but the attack taking places you mentioned in
a very very busy area. You know that area, Lose
seventeenth in high streets.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Right, one of the busiest metro stations.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
That's right there, right. I think three lines come together
right at that same point. So that's where this took place.
And you know, members of the National Guard have been there
for several weeks because of you know, the law and
the increased law enforcement effort. They're there as a presence,
as a law enforcement presence, and this is the they
say a targeted attack on these two members of the

(02:47):
Guard who were standing watch.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
We know that we now know that the guard guard's
been were shot in the head with a handgun. Do
we know how the shooter was injured? We imagine was
it return fire or I mean who.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
That's the initial report is that they're they're you know,
in exchange of other responding law enforcement and Guard members,
that the suspect was then wounded and taken into custody.
That suspect is still alive, So that is the latest
update that we have there. They were wounded the suspect
after the targeted attack.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
What's interesting about this story is it is the National Guard,
and if it were five weeks ago, ten weeks ago,
the initial thought among all of us, just speculating without
any information, would be it is somebody that is American
frustrated with the imposition of the National Guard, as it
was controversial. We you know, weeks have become months, and

(03:42):
people in DC, even those that are Trump critics, have
become comfortable with the results, even including the mayor of
d C, who has requested the National Guard to remain
in d C. So she has has he's had a
complete turnaround on the Trump effort to nationalize the capital city.
But as it turns out, it doesn't look like it

(04:05):
was a a reaction to the militarization of DC, which
was the phrase that was used, but potential out of terrorism.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Yeah, it's a great point that, you know, if this
was six weeks ago, two months ago, you'd be thinking of.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
It as a protest attack.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
But instead, because it's been so long and so well received,
and keep in mind it's a federal district. It's a
it's a literal district controlled by the federal government, and
so there's much different rules there than there are other
cities where you have to have the mayor and the
governor and there's back and forth, et cetera.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
This was this is DC.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
This is a federal district, the District of Columbia. So
had it been a couple months ago, we would have
thought something different. But now the investigation can go in
a certain direction because of how long that has been
going on.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Jack Cronin and the Coco New Center, thanks so much.
I appreciate it. We'll stay connected with you and you'll
stay on the story. And another newscast coming up here
in just about twenty minutes. Wow, what a story and
not a good one to start the holiday weekend. But
it is important because we need to know what we're
up against here and if it is not just yet

(05:10):
another subway sandwich on steroids situation. I mean, this is
what these National guardsmen have to deal with, This is
what these Ice agents have to deal with, this is
what these federal agents have to deal with. They're doing
their job and people that don't like them when they
throw when things are coming at them, whether it's a

(05:30):
subway sandwich or bullets. Right, the guardsmen don't know that
it's not lethal what's being thrown at him. That's why
that subway sandwich story was an important one. It wasn't comical,
even though it sounded comical, because the guard in that
instant didn't know he's getting hit with a sandwich. He
was happy it was only a sandwich, right, it could
have been something lethal now, something potentially lethal. And of course,

(05:56):
certainly speaking for myself, my first instinct was that's not
These people are still mad at the National Guard for
keeping the peace in DC, and we don't know the
motivation yet. But since it was not an American, not
one of our countrymen, not even one of the Trump
Arrangement syndrome fellow Americans of ours, but a foreign national,

(06:20):
we need to know. Number one, why is an Afghan
national in Washington, d C. What's he doing there? Is
he there in a work visa, a student visa, a
visitor's visa? What's going on? I mean Afghanistan, you know,
not England, right, not a country where we see a
whole lot of like It's not like you know, a
family from France going to Disneyland. There are Afghan nationals

(06:45):
in our country. They are in business, and they are
in higher education, and some of them are here on
teaching visas. So there is a contingency from Afghanistan, especially
after the US involvement in Afghanistan. But this is not
a friend of the United States. This is an enemy

(07:06):
of the United States. And he got shot somehow, and
we don't know if like Hoover, turned fire, that'll be
the first question. I saw the video and I saw
a number of Secret Service agents wrestling to him to
the ground as well as civilians. I mean, it was
one of those scenes almost like it really reminded me.
And this might be too far back for you to remember,

(07:29):
but when Reagan was shot, like you know, with the
same level of proximity, not in the same location, but
right near the White House. When Reagan was shot, it
was just like this chaos on the sidewalk in that
area of DC, the very wide sidewalks, so a lot
of room to have a wrestling match, and a bunch
of people jumped on top of him and they got him.

(07:49):
But he was shot. So now he's being treated. And yeah,
the initial reports of the two National guardsmen perishing as
a result of their injuries. That made my heart drop
and I was pleased within minutes of the press conference
that they were still with us, although in critical condition.

(08:09):
And a shot in the head is never good. So
thoughts and prayers for our National guardsman. President President Trump
is you can tell when he's angry, and he is
hopping mad at this. And I don't believe in this
whole acting alone thing. I know there are rare instances
where people act alone, but you know the lou Penrose rule.

(08:30):
Somebody helped this guy, particularly a foreign national somebody. You
can't be in the country illegally and purchase a gun legally.
You can't be a foreigner and purchase the gun in
the United States. So how did he get the gun?
Where did he get it? How did He's he living alone?
He has no job? Where did he get money for
the bullets? How is he living in DC? Where's his roommates?

(08:51):
Who is he living with? Where's his boss? So when
I say no one acts alone, there are people around
this character. And I want to know his ID, and
then I want to know everybody that knew anything about him,
and I want justice to be done. Whether we bring
justice to him here in d C in the United States,

(09:12):
or we delivered justice to where he's from. Either way,
I want justice done. Penrose on News Radio six hundred
COGO always Live on the iHeartRadio app. We'll get an
update on the National guardsmen that were shot today just
steps from the White House in very busy afternoon foot

(09:33):
traffic near the metro station. They were first reported deceased
and that was confirmed by the governor of West Virginia,
and then the FBI pulled that back and said no,
they are in critical condition. They were both shot in
the head. They are wearing very heavy protective clothing. I
don't know if there are bulletproof vests under there, but

(09:57):
they have lots of gear on. But they were targeted
about this individual, and we now know that it was
an Afghani national and he has been shot and he
is being treated and his condition is unknown, somewhere between
stable and critical. So we'll get the latest and deliver
it to you. I would call this a developing story

(10:20):
for sure. Just reading President Trump's truth social posts, he
is very very angry. So we'll get we have a
news update coming up here in just about ten minutes
to stay with News Radio six and their cogo. I
know a lot of you are on the fifteen headed
out of town. A lot of you are on the
fifteen headed into San Diego. San Diego a Thanksgiving destination

(10:45):
and also a place where people leave to celebrate the holidays,
whether you're going to Bom Springs or Big Bear or
out east. A lot of traffic out there. We got
it all for you. We got the news of the day,
the latest news, breaking news, all the information. So you're
up to speed plus all the traffic and weather you
could ever ask for. You couldn't ask for anything more.

(11:05):
And you can't do this on a podcast. Lou Penrose
on News Radio six hundred Coco and live on the
iHeartRadio app. All right, so the Union struck again this
time Los Angeles. The Union Unite here the local chapter,
Local eleven, and you see them do this a lot.
These are the same characters who are constantly shutting down freeways.

(11:27):
They were shutting down freeways during the ice raids in June.
They are the ones that really coordinate a lot of
these no King marches. You always see them in their
pink T shirts. This is the Service Workers Union and
they represent the people that make the food that in

(11:48):
this case the company Flying Food Group sell on board flights,
and they're not happy with their management, and they're bitching
about whatever their wage problems are, their workplace conditions. They're
always bitching. They're service workers, right, Like, get over yourself,
go get another job. You're in the service industry. You're

(12:10):
not as valuable as I don't know the engineers that
made the airplane, like that union. If they got to beef,
I'll take notice. So instead of doing a normal protest
where they stand on the sidewalk with bongo drums, at
around eleven o'clock last night in Los Angeles on Tuesday,

(12:30):
the busiest travel day of the year, they literally got
in the street on Century Boulevard and block the roadway
into the airport right at the entrance of Lax. Here's
Matthew Seedorf of Fox News LA outside Lax one of
the busiest travel days of the year. Protesters have taken over.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
This intersection right now tho boy here Century Boulevard he
into Lax.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
The Century Boulevard like the the road that get when
you get off the one oh five. They literally laid
down in the street and they were stopping cars from
going into the airport to catch their flight.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
This sign says Sidyo of LA, why is flying turnproof
to buffalo off?

Speaker 1 (13:16):
See first off, I almost said this should be illegal.
This is illegal. This is fire in a crowded theater.
I know, all you maniacs with the bongo drums and
all these service worker unions all think that you can
really you know, raise a get the danderrupt of the public.
This is illegal. You are allowed to protest on the sidewalk.

(13:39):
That's what a demonstration is. A demonstration is raising awareness.
So you get yourselves and a couple of megaphones and
a bongo drum and a couple of signs. And the
signs should be quick and clever, and it should say hey,
they're not paying us enough, or I burnt my hand

(14:00):
right because it was safety violation. Whatever it is, whatever
your beef is. If you want to raise a way,
if you want me to care, stand on the sidewalk
on a corner. I'm already in traffic, but at least
the traffic is moving, and I'll read you sign and
I'll say, huh, I don't know anything about that. You see,
you've raised my awareness of it, and then if I
care to support you, i'll support you. If I think

(14:23):
you're being ridiculous in your demands, I'll support the other side.
Footnote service worker unions are always ridiculous in their demands.
But there's so many people in the service industry now
that they have strength because we don't have like manufacturing

(14:44):
unions so much anymore, because we don't manufacture things in
the United States. We make each other's beds and do
each other's laundry. And then Democrats decided to unionize those people,
and now they're the strength, but they're for the most
far inconsequential, so they have to increase their level of
appearance and impact. So they literally crossed the line and

(15:07):
got in the street, and it was a real problem. Understand,
they can be a strike or whatever. You know that
we want to pull right. You tell them, sir, I
understand they want to strike, but we have to go
section right. So the police came three hours later and

(15:32):
cleared the intersection, which means you missed your flight. Anybody
that was in that left for the airport three hours
or two hours before their flight. If the police cleared
it three hours later, they missed their flight and they
had the nerve to say they'll be back. This is
happening on one of the busiest travel days of the year, exactly.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
You know, it's really important that people take notice about
the people who are visible behind the scenes.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
There's an idiot that represents United hear Local eleven. I
hate this invisible line. This is a new thing. It
came out of the trans community, trans women who are
men dressed like women, which is fine with me until
you want to go into the women's locker room or
use the women's bathroom. But the trans women demand to

(16:18):
be visible, right. They believe that if we don't identify
them as women, then they become invisible. So they demand
to be visible. And now that's the new word, that's
the catchphrase. And you heard it there. Now now the
unionized workers that aren't getting what they want, they're invisible.
Now the people who are invisible behind the scenes, Like,

(16:39):
what does that mean? Invisible? In the ind At work,
everybody is invisible. We're busy getting work done, so we're
not visible. Who's visible? The receptionist, the bank teller is visible.
Like most of us that work are invisible to the world.
Stop with this invisible thing. It's so childish. Lou Penrose rule,

(17:05):
Democrats do not have a political problem. Democrats have a
maturity problem. Loupenrose on news Radio six hundred co Goo

(17:27):
for all the latest information, traffic and weather forecasts, and
of course, the top story as we continue to follow
up on this tragic shooting of two National guardsmen in Washington,
d C. Literally steps from the White House near a
busy metro station on a busy afternoon to get out
of town Wednesday. In DC two the suspect and Afghan national,

(17:53):
and CBS is reporting that he has been in the
country since twenty twenty one. So what was going on
in our country in twenty twenty one? Oh yeah, President
Joe Biden was letting tens of millions of illegals from
all over the world into the United States through the
southern border. So we'll get more. Jack Cronin is in

(18:16):
the Coca News Center. He has the latest, and we'll
get more as more becomes available. But without jumping to conclusions,
I'm starting to draw conclusions and I don't like them.
President Trump is hopping mad Hey, a lot of people
are traveling, and I still think this is an interesting story.

(18:36):
Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy earlier this week made some
news when he said, look, we need to return to civility.
We need more civility. Bring your civility, not your patients
to the airport. Recognize it's going to be a record
travel Thanksgiving week, so it's going to be busier, which
means it's probably not going to be enough chairs. And

(18:58):
we're doing our part at the FAA to make sure
that everybody is where they're supposed to be and all
the air traffic controllers are there. But you need to
bring your patients. And then he got into the clothing thing,
which I support, but there was a lot of blowback,
positive and negative. People say, right on, right on, Sean Duffy,
you're right, we should dress better at the airport. To

(19:20):
screw you, Sean Duffy, I pay for this ticket and
I'll dress like a slob if I want to just.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
Maybe dressing with some respect, whether it's a pair of
jeans and a decent shirt, I would encourage people to
maybe dress a little better, which encourage us, encourages us
to maybe behave all a little better.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
That's right. That isn't such an outrageous statement. There are
law firms and accounting firms that do not have casual Friday,
that have suit and jackets and ties as a code.
I mean there are I know firms that do that.
When I worked in Congress, there was no casual Friday

(19:58):
jacket and tie bub presenting a member of Congress. So
why is that? Because when you look professional, when you
dress professional, you present professional, and it changes your demeter.
So it isn't an outlandish statement. It is no more
outlandish that if you wear maybe nice jeans and a
nice shirt to the airport, that would help. That isn't

(20:20):
any different than casual Friday. Right, If you dress down
on casual Friday, you'll be more casual, which means you'll
perform more casual. Hence the term casual, which is why
I don't like it. But he got a little specific,
and then people got upset.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
Let's try not to wear slippers in pajamas as we
come to the airport.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
I think that's positive. I think he's right, unless you're
changing into shoes once you get to the airport. But
he doubled down on it today even though there was
some pretty decent feedback as again positive and negative. But
today he said, look, we want civility on these planes,
and he did a video with a flight attendant.

Speaker 5 (21:01):
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. Here we're talking about civility. Civility
in the airspace does start with you. So let's talk
about civility. So what can we do to make the
fight experience a little more civil, a little better, a
little happy agout?

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Yeah, so he with Arrowsmith's Sweet Emotion playing behind him,
he made a video. Now that's interesting, mister Finnerdy. We
can't play arrowsmith Sweet Emotion as a production element or
as a bumper return from a commercial stop set on
this station because of the podcast. But if you are
with the Department of Transportation and it's the official Department

(21:39):
of Transportation Twitter feed, can you without license play Arrowsmith's
song behind you.

Speaker 6 (21:47):
I think they're taking a risk and trying to see
if they can get away with it.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Yeah. Yeah, because it is published when you put it
on social media, that's right, as opposed to like just
playing the song in a stadium, like if you wanted
to play like Trump wants to play YMCA, which by
the way, he has YMCA has has okayed it. But
if he wants to play it, they can't stop him
from playing. They can put out a statement saying we
don't want you to play Born in the U like

(22:12):
Bruce Springsteen could say I don't want you playing Born
in the USA to Trump rally, and then he can
choose to do it or not do it, but they
can't stop you. But if Sean Duffy puts out sweet emotion,
which is great, he's trying to get people to love
the flight attendants, I wonder how that all works, Like
who's paying for the rights for that? Or maybe that's
the new theme song of the Department of Transportation. They'd

(22:34):
stop to pay the rights, right, Maybe he bought the
one time use of the rights for the Thanksgiving on
the day. It's amazing. I was interesting to hear it.
I'm like, hey, how knowing what I know from listening
to you about what I can and can't do, that's right,
which I'm still con I mean, I listened to you,
and I obey because you're chief of staff, But I

(22:57):
still don't fully understand how the guy's lost the hall
right there at legendary San Diego station one on one
five KGB can play a led Zeppelin song, but I
right over and we're in the same building, we're owned
by the same company, and I can't play a led
Zeppelin song on coc.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
It's station per station. Yeah, we're not We're talking and news. Yes,
you really want to blame anybody, Blame the music corporations
and the rock stars because they want the money.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
I don't mind. Get well, it doesn't I mean, but
like iHeart owns everybody, they own live nations, So I
don't know. I need to go like the whole deal
between Google, YouTube, TV and Disney. Uh it can't be
sorted out. So it would just make my life more
fun because then we can use actual led Zeppelin bumpers
coming out of the break uh No, and then when

(23:51):
appropriately play a song because I have been looking for
for a couple of weeks and I have one. I
have another liberal white woman update, but like the Trump
train update, I like to have a themed song. And
somebody one of our listeners as an email of the
suggestion of a liberal white woman update theme, and that

(24:11):
is take the music from I Am Woman hear me roar,
and that is a good idea, but we can't do
that because that song belongs to somebody, that's right. And
I tried to explain to that person and they're like,
what do you mean, You're a radio station. Why can't
you play songs? I don't know. So there you go anyway,
But we do have a liberal white woman.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
Update.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
I told you about the mountain de girl. This is
the subway sandwich two point zero. This is a young woman.
There was an Ice raid going on and it was
an ICE agent lawfully executing a deportation order to an
illegal alien. And while he's wrestling with him and throwing, throwing,

(24:53):
throwing him in the back of the Ice van, which
is where the illegals belong, there was two other federal
agents just kind of standing there acting the Ice agent
as he was engaging in this wrestling match with an
illegal and the liberal white woman threw a big gulp
of mountain dew on the head of the Ice agent.

(25:21):
Are you here, everybody?

Speaker 2 (25:21):
Now?

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Those cheers are for the woman. They're all like, oh,
she got him, Oh my goodness, look at that boy.
You go, girl, she just got that Ice agent all
covered in mountain dew right, She's like, they're all cheering
him on her on until the agent look very calmly,
turns around, grabs the woman, twists her arms around her back.

(25:45):
She falls flat faced onto the concrete. So eat eat
the asphalt, lady, and then the in cuff she goes, right,
you're hearing Nassy's screaming. All of a sudden, she was
all proud of herself and accepting the adulation of an

(26:06):
enduring crowd until the ice agent grabbed her by the wrists,
and all of a sudden, now she's screaming, no, don't pottymouth.
They all have potty mouths. Don't effing push me yep,
and guess where she's going to jail, because that would

(26:29):
be battery of a federal officer. That is Emily Ramos,
age eighteen, an adult, not a kid. An adult, proving
the Loup Penrose rule that Democrats do not have a
political problem. Democrats have a maturity problem, all right. When
we come back, I got more liberal white women this one.

(26:51):
They're concerned about the conversation at the dinner table. If
we don't allow the Trump haters to engage in a
Trump discussion at the Thanksgiving Day. Then the other discussion
is going to be about why all these daughters are
not getting proposed to by anybody, and that's scaring a
lot of single women. I'll tell you all about it.
Coming up next, Blue Penrose on news Radio six hundred

(27:19):
Cogo always Live on the iHeartRadio app. Well, it's that
tim a year. No, not the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, but
the Carl DeMaio Thanksgiving menu every year. Carl Demio traditionally hosts,
and every once in a while it comes out without
a disaster. Carl, thanks for spending time with us on

(27:40):
this very very busy Wednesday. Good to have you on.
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (27:43):
And as I used to talk every year on the show,
I do not know how to cook at all. I
cook once a year and it's in it's for Thanksgiving
and I use a heavy reliance on croc pots to
get myself through it.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
All right, So, uh, the audience wants to know, you're
not going to believe this, but I am telling you
the God's honest truth. We got requests to have you
on to find out what your menu was going to
be because of the stories that you share year off
the year about your one day of hosting. So what's
on the.

Speaker 7 (28:16):
Menu standing I always get. I get pre cooked turkey
and ham from Honey Takes Turkey. Now I have to
put the turkey in the oven because it comes frozen.
Last year I screwed up and I didn't realize that
it takes a while to you know, though a turkey.

(28:37):
So I picked it up frozen, and you know, it
was a disaster. This year, I picked it up on Sunday.
I've had it in my fridge and so yes, after
two to three days it's nicely thawed. So I should
be okay on that front. But crockpot stuffing, crockpott pot beans,
crockpot corn. The only thing I'm not going to do

(28:58):
in the crock pot will be the mashed potatoes, which
I I have figured out how to do with a blunder.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
You figured out how to smash boil and then smash
up a potato with.

Speaker 7 (29:10):
Yes, But you know, I've been watching some YouTube videos
to figure out exactly, you know, what's the best technique.
So there's a lot of different variations to get the
perfect mashed potatoes. We'll see how they come out this year.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Hey, before I let you go, I do we'd be
remiss if we didn't bring up a little bit of politics.
But I want to give you the opportunity to talk
a little bit about the success you've had and the
bipartisan support of the legislation to protect your cat. Can
you tell us a little bit about that?

Speaker 7 (29:36):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Yes, yes.

Speaker 7 (29:37):
So you know, I've voted against almost every bill in
Sacramento because most of the bills that are proposed are
just insane. But I did find one I liked, and
it is a bill sponsored by Democrat member from the Assembly,
member from the Bay Area, Alex Lee, who I agreed

(29:57):
with him on absolutely nothing, zero Z not a but
he author author to bill that's been something that I've
been very passionate about, and that is to ban the
practice of declining cats without some sort of medical justification. Uh,
declining a cat is is basically akin to amputating your
own fingers at the first knuckle. It is incredibly inhumane

(30:23):
and painful, and so California will ban that practice as
of January first. I don't like bands. I'm a libertarian.
I like freedom, but you know, we also are human
beings and we know about inhumane practices, and we don't
allow that a civilized country does not allow that. So

(30:44):
banning the practice of declining cats something I could actually
get behind this year, But I could find almost no
other bills I could support.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
It's well that one's that one's a big one. As
an animal lover myself as well, I think that's exactly right.
I don't like banned. Right. We're kind of libertarian streaks
running through both of us, but as a society and
a culture, we choose and we have a special relationship
with dogs and cats. They are domesticated animals for us,

(31:12):
and we have a special relationship for them, and we
don't allow harm to come to them, and so this
accomplishes that. And on behalf of myself and I think
a lot of go go listeners, we thank you for
that work and the fact that you were able to
work together by partisans, by partisan way with the Democrats
and Sacramento, given the way they treat you up there,

(31:33):
I think is laudable for your ability to bury the
hatchet when something is important.

Speaker 7 (31:38):
You know, I told them, don't get used to it,
because most of the other bills that they have are
still insane.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Well, listen, happy Thanksgiving, my friend. Always good to have
you on and we look forward to talking with you
in the days and weeks to come.

Speaker 7 (31:51):
Likewise, thank so much, Lou.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
There's Carl Demayo with the there you go. Everything's still
in the crock pot. Nothing a whole lot different, but
that the once a year Carl Demile hosted Thanksgiving feast.
And I've seen photos of this and it's still a
work in progress, but I am happy that everything is
in a crockpot except for the mashed potatoes, and maybe,

(32:15):
just maybe they ought to belong in the crockpot too,
all Right, the affordability of tomorrow's dinner. Is that going
to be the discussion or are we going to shift
the discussion, not talk about politics and talk about just
the people around the table. A lot of single women
are not happy about that. I'll explain. I'm Jimy Harmon.
