There are many tools available including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI as well as image-assisted biopsies. Depending on cancer risk, breast density, and other variables, a combination of these may be used to detect breast malignancies and guide cancer treatment. Additionally, in the United States, radiologists have fought to ensure access to screenings via healthcare policies and insurance coverage.
