Parkinson's disease is a motor system disorder. Some symptoms are trembling, stiffness, slowness and impaired coordination. There is currently no cure for Parkinson's disease.However, new developments are making symptom management easier. For example, there are now patches and nasal sprays for those who have difficulty swallowing pills because of the condition.
Thanks to social media, people with Parkinson's don't have to feel so alone. It is easier to contact others who have the same condition. There are support groups and communities for sufferers and caretakers.
