My guest today is Army veteran and artist Dillon Krueger. He has crafted a heartfelt children’s book, Why We Stand, to teach the next generation about the significance of the National Anthem.
Dillon, who served in the United States Army Infantry and was deployed to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2011, wrote Why We Stand for his three sons—Liam, Maddox, and Asher.
Ladies and gentlemen, WHY WE STAND is beautifully written and illustrated, the story follows an American bald eagle as he takes his son on a journey across the country, teaching him the history of the Anthem, including the War of 1812 and the Battle of Baltimore.
