he said, my cameras out,put me back on the screen. All
right, what happened to your setup? I didn't feel like bringing all that

(07:06):
stuff right now? All that stuffalmost the almost did it? He done
that. Health and Fitness opening upin Autubon, New Jersey on June third,
now June third, and of courseIan J Mobile Cigar Lounge. Everybody.
Um, all right, so let'slet's get to the football minds,

(07:31):
uh quick and fast here because weprobably without the draft, could talk for
three hours about this team and whathas taken place in the off season.
And I'm gonna go to you orfirst on this because obviously, seventeen years

(07:51):
in the league, uh, youare now a staunch Eagles fan and uh,
I guess us. I'm gonna goaround the room, all right,
I'd like to know what you guysthink is our biggest weakness right now?
Where do we need to focus thisdraft? Keeping in mind, right now

(08:13):
we only have what six picks, six picks? Six picks. We just
did swap picks in the third roundwith Arizona as part of the grievance that
happened with what was that Jonathan Gannon? Yeah, with the hiring. Uh
so what grievance? Well, it'sso they they were doing something as far
as trying to hire him. Sotoo early. Champer because you're champering because
of the investigation. Now the Eagles, you mean, you'd be the reason

(08:37):
why Jonathan Gannon had his head upas ass pup during the Super Bowl exclusion.
But but the Eagles win. TheEagles had pick in the third round.
They now have the sixty sixth pick, So now they have four picks
in the top sixty six picks ofthe draft. That's huge. That's not
bad at all. Before the show, I would have given them a draft
pick to take Candy. They doa lot better in the second round they

(09:01):
do the first round. Anyway, what's our biggest weakness right now? The
biggest weakness, where do we needto focus this first pick, if we're
going to if we're going to usethis tenth pick, or somewhere in that
general vicinity. Where would you liketo see them target? Well, first
of all, I would like tosee them select if he's available, Bijean

(09:24):
Robinson. There's a numero. There'sa number of reasons why. Let me
start with this draft in its entirety, all of the athletes that are coming
out, this is a an averagedraft. If you look at the town
all of those who are available, and you were to pair them up with
other drafts, some of these catsthat are being drafted in the higher rounds

(09:46):
would not be drafted in the higherrounds. So this is an average draft.
You don't have a lot of playerswho are coming out who you consider
they're going to be, you know, Hall of famers. Bijon Robinson is
considered to be the best player inthe draft. He's also being talented or
being revered as the least likely tobe a bust in the draft. So

(10:13):
nobody because of this draft in theNFL, No team in the NFL is
going to increase their talent or goto another level, uh exponentially because of
this draft and an at a greathigh level. So because Bijon is the
talent that he is, and becauseof the stats and all of that,

(10:35):
and the fact that what he doeswill really enhance the Eagles offense being great
a great offense as it is Bijonis the answer because he takes this offense
that the Eagles have, which isa great offense. Don't get me wrong,
it's a great offense already, buthe takes it through the stratosphere.
He just takes it to another level. So he's not the need. He's

(10:56):
not or running back is not theweak spot for the Eagles right now,
although we do need a running back. But if we can get this guy
who was an exceptional running back andput him in this exceptional offense, it
takes this team offensively, the Eaglesout of the stratosphere. No one will
be able to handle what they presenton the field in terms of talent.

(11:20):
I was just gonna pick audio forsaying this is not what we need,
but you address that, Zack ahead. No. I know we were going
to go around the room, butI figured I might as well just stay
on the top, to stay onthe topic, because I'm the same way
as you are. The last yearwhen we did the players Show that Tuesday
night after that Vikings game, andQuimby went down to the table and we
had a lot of great things,a lot of positive things to talk about,

(11:41):
and you know, he gave meJalen Hurts, and I was like,
he played a great game, buthe put himself in harm's way too
many times with the safeties and thelinebackers when he's running the ball. I
think he ran the ball about onehundred and eighty times last year and he
got hurt pretty bad. That couldhave costed us making it to the Super
Bowl to begin with. It costedI was going to say, but it's

(12:03):
okay, it's all right. Hedidn't courage exactly. It's okay, yeah,
yeah, he done costed us thegame day. Where's my baseball?
It's an a dictionary in a dictionary. But we would have we went out.
I have gone to the Super Bowllast year if he didn't come back,
and you could tell that he stillwasn't the same through those playoff games

(12:24):
until we got to the Super Bowl, and even then you were trying to
manage it. The best way toprotect him is not bringing in a guard
with the tenth pick with Pete Scarronsky. The best way to protect him is
taking the ball out of his handsas much as possible by running the football
with an actual running back that canmake plays. The guy is a stud.
He is a Beast handed off andlet him run. And what happens

(12:45):
is it's gonna pull safety down andleave single coverage on Goddard Brown and DeVante
Smith do it perfect formula, can'tdo it? Yep, all right,
go ahead, slash. I wasgonna say, I mean, do you
want Miles Sanders carried the ball twohundred and sixty times last year? Is
Bijean Robinson gonna carry it five hundredtimes to take it out of Jalen Hurts
And he's gonna carry it just asmany times as Miles Sammy's. But he's

(13:09):
gonna do more with it than he'shad four he had five yards to carry.
I don't know what. I don'tknow what we're missing here. Jalen
Hurts is gonna be Jalen Hurts. You're not gonna take the ball. Hurt
gets four yards after the carriage, jal after Jalen Hurts all yards after contact.
But but what Sack is alluding tois you're putting Jalen Hurts in Harm's

(13:33):
way by giving him the ball somuch so, giving Bejean Robinson the ball
even more limits his running. JalenHurts is running, which is eliminating his
ability to get hurt. That's notgonna happen. Jalen Hurts is gonna be
Jalen Hurts and be that two wayplayer. Bejean gives the defense more to
think about, more to be concernedabout, more to get you. I

(13:54):
just think you don't draft the luxuryat ten when he of glaring needs on
the You draft a luxury when wheneverything else is set and you look at
the quarterback situation the NFC, thisright here separates the Eagles that much further
from everybody else in the NFC.And you just paid him fifty million dollars
a year. You have to feelthat you have to give him as many

(14:15):
weapons to make this offense success andso he doesn't wind up like Cam Newton
and he doesn't wind up had threeor four design run plays per game.
Well, this is what run.Who's the best quarterback in the NFC.
Who has the best offensive line inthe NFC Eagles, Who has the best
wide receiver do in the NFC Eagles? Okay, well, so why do
you need more? Why do youneed to because on defense, all right,

(14:41):
they're gonna give up thirty points agame. First of all, all
right, you guys are absolutely batcrap crazy, thank you. All right.
Last time the Eagles selected a runningback in the first round was what
year, nineteen eighty six? Allright, so how about trying I'm sorry,
hold on, I would have donethat. Shut the hell up.

(15:05):
So when has this team ever everunder this particular ownership, suggested that they
would want a running back centric offense. It wouldn't be running back centric,

(15:26):
but they did. And it's awaste. If Christian it's a waste.
If Christian McCaffrey would have made itto fourteen in twenty seventeen, Christian McCaffrey
would have been an Eagle. It'sironclad it was going to happen. They're
not against doing it in the firstround. Ideally, for me, the
Eagles trade from ten to thirteen orfourteen, get another second or third round
pick, or you know, geta couple more picks, and God's drafted

(15:46):
Bejan Robins and then you take BejanRobinson in the middle of the first round.
That would be the ideal place todo it, because that's where the
necessary that's where the need becomes necessary. At that point, well, if
this cat is he got all runningbacks that you guys say he is.
Why is he gonna fall in themiddle of the first round because other teams

(16:08):
that draft drafting needs, Yeah, they have other needs like quarterback. Really
and he may eat and he mayand he may not make it to the
middle of the first round. Sowhat if the Bears may take this one?
Please? The Bears could use itrunning back. Earth. Honestly,
it sucks, but I think youstill have to go d tackle, all

(16:33):
right, Earth, don't give methat what crap? All right, you're
on my list already today, allright. Fact of the matter is you
got Fletcher Cox on the one yeardeal when you got a Jordan Davis that
is a absolute troublesome cat in thelocker room. Okay, so what does
that mean? When did you takehim last year? Doesn't matter in the

(16:56):
first round, which is why youneed to bolster up the D line in
the first place. Mistake twice Wellinvited you into the studio will not happen
again, So we won't be makingthat what has gotten the Eagles in the
trouble, and I'm thank you.The fact of the matter is with Fletcher
Cox gone, all right, you'restarting deep tackles. Are Jordan Davis and

(17:18):
Milton Williams. All right, thisteam does focus heavily on the trenches,
and especially if we have not seenthis over the years, specifically defensive tackle
Javon Hargrave, Malik Jon Malee Jackson. Alright, Tim Jurnagan, alright,

(17:41):
this team focuses heavily on that. And I think it's a smart move simply
because you're going to get a guy. Let's just say we are. We
already know the pick, all right, it's Jalen Carter. If they can
get them, that's what they want, I believe. All do you want
them to fall to ten? I'lltake him at eight. Trade up,
But here's trade up, straight up. But here's the deal, all right.

(18:04):
What you didn't get with Jernigan, what you didn't get with Malie Jackson,
what you didn't get with jay VonHargrave was a rookie contract. And
now that you've had to pay yourquarterback, fifty million I get at the
dead cap is pretty light the firstcouple of years, But you have to
consider that moving forward, especially ifthat is the position of focus always on

(18:30):
your team. If you can loadthat up with two rookies for the next
four years, that's what I'm doingthe problem is what gets the Eagles into
troubles when they're drafting Need in thefirst round. Now, if you have
an opportunity at ten and he fallsyou to ten, you probably take Jayalen
Carter. There's probably what they're planningon doing. If he gets passed Seattle
at five, he can get prettyinteresting between six and nine if they're going

(18:52):
to trade into those positions. Here'sthe most important question. Do you think
the Eagles are actually going to pickat ten, if anything, trade back.
I don't see them trade. They'regonna try, and they're gonna try
and to add more picks. Butbut if you're looking at by Need and
Jalen Carter's not there for him tobe drafted at ten, you don't trade
up. The next best defensive tackleis a guy that you can get but
pick thirty Collegia Cancy. So likeyou want to sit there and say you

(19:15):
need defensive tackle just because you needit, doesn't mean you need to take
it at ten. You need totake a position of a value, someone
that's gonna plug in and play fromday one. I don't want these guys
that are gonna come in here likeI'm here Paris Johnson Junior. Like he's
a tackle. Okay, that's great. You you're set at tackle next year
and the year after that. LaneJohnson should be paying for the next two

(19:36):
years. Like I understand the injurysituation, the depth situation as far as
tackles concerned. Because Jack Driscoll rightnow is your is your backup tackle and
he's a friend of the program. But for me, take Paris first pick
coming in right now, Panthers selectthe volume up. Man, I already
know who they took. Yeah,Sham's reported this like an hour ago.

(20:00):
Yeah, shams were shams of allpeople, not Schefter, not Rappaport,
but shams. It was minus twentythousand. Yeah, sports foot before the
show. I love what they're doingright now with the with the players statistics
five foot ten and an eighth aneighth Yeah, come on, man,
well they're stretching. That's on agood day. Anybody knows that better than

(20:22):
Quimby. I'd like to meet him. Coming from the guy that hasn't gotten
laid an No, sorry, Idon't hear anything coming from the studio.
Now there's crickets over there. Let'sgetting back to the drab. Please get
it back to the Eagles. Imean, come on, he sings Google

(20:45):
dolls to himself and even his roommate. Well, so this seems to be
like this, this was the onlygiven right now, it starts to get
interested out from here, to getinteresting. Yeah, because now you don't
know what the Texans are gonna do, or the Texas gonna go quarterback?
Are they gonna go will Anderson? You know, like, are they gonna
trade back? I mean really, the scenario for trading right now is with

(21:06):
the Cardinals at three. That's that'sbeen you guys. You guys understand what
you're message with here with this biJean Robinson concept. All right, all
right, we gotta trade down totake him in the middle of I never
said trade down, No, ideally, I said I would like to trade
back three or four. Now,you don't know if he's gonna be there.
If you trade back three or force, depending on who's there, the
Titans are gonna go quarterback if anyof these four fall past ten, they're

(21:30):
going quarterback because they don't like MalikWillis at all. They want to get
rid of him tomorrow if at all. I don't know, I wouldn't trade
back just on a woman a prayerthat someone like Tennessee might not be interested
in Malik Willis. If you're gonnatake the guy, take him at ten.
I don't agree with it, butI wouldn't if they hit the chance
trading. If they had traded thereDerrick henry By now I would say you're

(21:52):
correct, but they haven't yet,and we're gonna talk more about that when
we come back from break. PremierWindow Cleaning is a leading window cleaning company

(23:22):
that alright, everybody, Green LegionRadio Here on Fox Sports Radio Philadelphia,
Live coverage of the first round ofthe twenty twenty three NFL Draft. CJ.
Stroud just went interesting. This shakesthings up a bit. It does
tell us why, Well, alot of people speculated that Will Anderson was

(23:42):
going to go number two. Uhso that drops off. I know Arizona
was looking to trade back. Wasthat correct? That was they had some
offers on the table for three, and that's I'm pretty sure that's if one
of the quarterbacks, if like Stroudor we'll leave us if they would have
got through. So this this makesit interesting for sure what they're gonna do
now at three. I think they'regonna trade out, especially with a lot

(24:02):
of speculation being that at number four, Indie's looking to take Will Levis.
And also I was waiting for Aliciato give me an Evil Eye here because
they didn't do what I was supposedto. Three Legion Radio here on Fox

(24:52):
at really, first time at CheerleadersJesse Pony May twelfth and thirteenth. All
right, so who's up next?Cardinals are on the clock? All right,
Cardinals? Whiny whiny little bitch.Jonathan gannon is, Oh did you

(25:15):
said that? Right? Yeah?Well I think it was DS. But
but what he said was what hesaid was accurate, wasn't it? No?
No, No, here's the no, No, there was didn go
on. I'm okay. The mediadidn't want him fired, The fans wanted
him fired. Right, it's abig difference between the two. You know,
so so he misquoted, he missed, he misstated, he was several

(25:37):
times. He didn't do a correctgame plan for the Super Bowl. I
mean you well, yeah, hedid get out coached. That was the
problem. He's a big meaty. It's going to be interesting to see what
he can do with the lack oftalent. They are not going to win
four games this It probably won't.You think he's gonna discipline Kyler Murray out

(25:57):
there? First of all? Allright, let's let's let's talk about this
all right once again. Alright,we're talking about teams that are tragically always
competing for a high draft pick. The Cardinals, the Jaguars not so much
this year, The Dolphins, theJets, the Lions, all these crappy
ass teams. All right, IfI'm the owner of the Cardinals, am

(26:21):
I even? I? Who?What? What game are you watching that
makes you think Jonathan Gannon is headcoach worthy? I mean, this is
gonna be great. This guy's gonnabe mopping floors in two years. But
he he's terrible. Defensive coordinator, terrible. I thought after that game after

(26:44):
the Super Bowl. Reason the reasonthe defense is so good was because of
the talent level. Yeah, Ithought and who they played them wanting him
as the head coach would change afterthe Super Bowl, but I guess it
didn't. Well, we have breakingnews. Oh, Ian rapp reports reporting
at number three the Cardinals are tradingwith the Texans. Whoa wait a minute,

(27:07):
that's Rappaports right there on TV.He does have the best hair of
the business done from the Cardinals secret. Yes, he doesn't have any other
features to go along with it.But hey, Lacy, how you doing?
You know what? Let me seeif I get this. Does Lacy
like Ian Rappaport's hair, We gottago? We go? All right,

(27:32):
it's full. I mean it's windtunnel tested like mel Kiper's. I'm leaving
my hat on God. So youknow what, we have not started to
doppen to do it? Three? We we We should probably do some of
these pick evaluations. Yeah we can. Let's see what the Texans do with

(27:52):
three here. Though. I thinkthey're going will Anderson Scott. It's gotta
be unless they're going Jayln Carter. They are going will be it. Will
they announce it? Okay, it'smoving pretty fast right now. Liking that,
Yeah, pretty solid start for Houston. Huh c J. Stroud.
I mean two two great programs thatthey're coming from. Yeah, that's always

(28:15):
the case with those programs. Yeah, I mean, I mean that's just
like the Eagles. The Eagles figuredthat out a couple of years ago.
Start kick start Terry. I'm sorry, Georgia. An undersized ed rusher,
edge rusher from Louisville isn't gonna getthe middle Middle Tennessee State, Tennessee Chatt
hold on Middle Tennessee state, don'tsay it. That's our boy. Robert

(28:37):
Covington, rogo hey, and congratulationsMiami Heat for knocking them Milwaukee Bucks out
of the playoffs. But right now, this is setting up the Celtics advance.
Okay, tense, this this issetting up to be an all time
like Diaz side of the Eastern Conferencebrout down the Knicks, the Celtics and

(29:00):
Jimmy Butler. Oh my goodness, loses money. What was up with Jimmy
Butler the other day? Man?He went off off, He's been going
off this Yeah, and once again, I will say it, biggest mistake
the Sixers letting him out ever made. Thank you. Alicia was letting Jimmy
Butler, go buckets. I thinkAlicia needs to put on a headset,

(29:21):
because if you're gonna talk sixers, you'll sound better than anything that's ever come
out of that chair. Tenfolds. You can kind of push this down tenfold.
Getting some good sixers analysis out ofthat chair is something we haven't had
in the in the five years we'vebeen doing this show. Hopefully Diaz is
not listening. No, no,no, hopefully he is. And you

(29:42):
think we're bad, I'm gonna grouptext with his three best buddies, the
Axis of Evil stuck killing dude. They killed Diaz on a daily basis,
daily. Take me out of itand it's it's beautiful. Will Anderson Junior,
all right, there you go.The Texans, Well, let's let's

(30:03):
do this. Who's who slotted togo forth right now? In a mock
draft? Uh? Is it?Indian? I think Will Levis that's that's
what they Hey, nothing was nothingbetter than first round uh quarterbacks out of
Kentucky. Yeah, yeah, Kentucky'sknown for some it's a great good quarterback,
Tim, Tim, Tim, Ican't wait to sleep on the couch

(30:23):
all day. Most of my researchis going to be done within the first
ten picks. Hopefully, why don'twho's a sack? Why don't you evaluate?
Will leave us right now? Allright, so going, we'll leave
us here. He's a red shirtsenior quarterback from Kentucky, transferred from Penn
State in twenty twenty oney six footfour, two thirty two. He's the
oldest quarterbates Penn State two. He'sjust like us Quinby agrees with us.

(30:47):
Oldest quarterback out me in that ring. There we go, smart people in
this room. Oldest quarterback out ofthe top four as he will turn twenty
four on June twenty seventh. He'sfrom Newtown, Massachusetts. Majors in finance
at Kentucky. He red shirted hisfreshman year at Penn Statement before backing up
Seawan Clifford for two seasons. Wentseventeen and seven in his two seasons as
a starter Kentucky. His numbers weren'teye popping, but he led the team

(31:10):
to the victory over number fifteen Iowain the twenty twenty two Citrus Bowl.
It comes from a long line ofathletes. This is this is pretty cool.
His dad played football at Division threeDennis In University in Ohio. His
mom was a two time All Americanchampionship at uncle played football at Yale.
Maternal great grandfather was an All Americanfootball player at Cornell and later a head

(31:30):
coach of several college teams. Heis a Division three I know you would
love this Quimby. He's a TikTokstar because of how he eats bananas and
drinks coffee. Also also features videosof his golf outings, a series of
celebrity lookalike photos of teammates, anda clip of hitting the goldpost crossbar with
a pass from midfield on his kneeshas been viewed over two hundred thousand times.

(31:53):
And this right here, he's rightup your alley as well. Quimby
His dream job is to be astay at home dad with a wife who
earned six figures. Isn't that allof our dreams? Yeah? I have
to go. You guys could finishthis show. Can he play football?
I told you I was really rechecked. Can he played football? There's not,
there's not a right now. Mydream jobs to be a cable guy,

(32:16):
so I can fix Quimby's TV.I don't know what's going on.
Well, it hasn't hasn't been onin the last three months. Yeah,
none of them. It's probably beensince August because when it was the last
somebody do another player of value. It's flickering, who's got Will Anderson?
Because well, I got Will Andrews. You gotta go. Will Anderson obviously

(32:37):
was gonna be a top five pick. He's twenty one years old, ed
rusher from Alabama. How about this, here's the fraction six three and a
half. Gotta throw that half andthey're two hundred and fifty three pounds from
Hampton, Georgia. The top rankedad drusher in the draft. He was
named freshman year his second team AllSECU with seven sacks and ten and a

(32:59):
half tackles for a loss. Umoh. A. Sophomore year, Anderson
was named Yeah, I was gonnasay SEC Defensive Player of the Year and
was voted unanimous All American after recordingseventeen and a half sacks thirty one tackles
for a loss, both of whichled the nation. Uh and actually finished

(33:21):
fifth in the Heisman voting. Prettypretty damn good for an edge rusher.
Um And in junior year, fiftyone total tackles, ten sacks, one
pick. Uh ten sacks led thesec NFL comparison. Pretty damn good too,
DeMarcus Ware, so lookout for willAnderson. Pretty good start for Houston.
The trade. They just announced thetrade right here. Cardinals get twelve

(33:44):
thirty three, a first in twentytwenty four and a third in twenty twenty
four. The Texans moved up tothree. So they went from twelve this
is awesome, nine picks, thisis four picks they're gonna screw up and
they got one oh five. Sothe Cardinals got a lot and uh,
but the Texans got their guy onboth ends, both sides of the ball.

(34:07):
I was, I was, Iwas waiting new you were going for
Ita displaying again TikTok. When Isaw that, I was like, Oh,
Quinny's gonna run with this one.How bananas with coffee? I don't
Indianapolis to pick his in. He'sgot a show might be an hour long,
Yeah, it'd be to pick in. Hey, the Phillies game was

(34:28):
two hours and four minutes today.I mean they had a real bad News
Bears moment in the first inning.Bro it was I was listening on the
radio. One nothing Matt Strong hadto work. Where's he the cy young?
It's got a two point three aer a so Indian. It seems
like Indy could go will love usif not? Are you thinking Anthony Richardson
here at quarter they're going quarterback. They're going quarterback for sure. It just

(34:49):
depends on what drunken Jim Ursey wants. Yeah. Well, and you know
what, you know why we're onthe topic of football, because you know
Philadelphi Eagles football is It's the biggestsupport by far and away in this city.
Our bread and butter, and what'smost important about football is being able
to go to Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club before, during, or after the game.

(35:12):
Alicia's here with us. How areyou? Don't be afraid to get right
up on that microphone. DZ doesn'tknow how to do it. There you
are? There, you are,uh, Alicia. I was in there
with you guys on Monday, andthank you. Happy to have you guys
on board, proud and thankful. We are happy to tell us about the
renovation because if you guys didn't know, cheerleaders is getting a massive makeover.

(35:38):
And when I first walked in onMonday and saw the video wall, all
right, you want to talk aboutwe already got a little bit of snickers
in before. I'm like, theviewing experience there is phenomenal. IRV starts
chirping like a twelve year old girl. But now the actual sports viewing experience

(36:02):
is enhanced greatly as cool as hell. Yes, talk Anthony, Wow,
talk about what's taking place and what'sgonna what people can expect with the new
renovations. Okay, so basically rightnow we are expanding a little bit more
or so in our VIP rooms andthe Shah, the couch room, the

(36:25):
bar area. Uh, there willbe new stages, new lighting. So
the concept from what I hear, what John and I spoke about, um,
the concept is luxury cars. Sono matter what room, which room
you're in, you're gonna have thefeel of a different luxury car. But
the lighting is insane. If Ibelieve we posted that on social media a

(36:49):
couple days ago, if you haven'tlooked at the plans, the artist rendering
of what it's going to look like, the color schemes. I mean,
you know, cheerleaders has always beengreat, but it's looked that way for
twenty years. Yeah, that it'sabout sixteen seventeen years of those renovations that
were done the last time, soit was it was due for a color

(37:12):
change. But this this is justphenomenal. It's cool as hell to look
at it. It's gonna enhanced theGreen Legion Radio, the Green Legion Big
Boy Fantasy Football League Draft. Yeah, there you go. That's a start.
I honestly, I don't feel likerecruiting anymore. I think that's what's
gonna happen from here on. Sothere you go. Register ring, Alicia,

(37:35):
register ring the Thursday night before LaborDay weekend. We'll see you then,
yes, yes, When can weexpect to see the renovations finished?
We are hoping for at least June, mid June probably for everything I really
done. Wow, that's there's alot. It's been going on for a

(37:58):
long time, so for quite awhile. But with every as everybody knows,
from pandemic, no deliveries, you'renot getting the product that you need.
Chicken parms sucks everywhere. Mike's goingto be so upset with you.
Is everybody's super Sam Brady not sayingmuch so far, shiming in great analysis

(38:21):
and real quick because it's her timeto shine. Uh slotted in a lot
of mock drafts to go fifth isoffensive tackle out of Northwestern Peter Skornowsky.
I believe Super Sam has some evaluationson this player. I do, but
I literally am so bad at this. Ready go. First of all,

(38:46):
you spelled his name wrong in theemail. Peter Scroy offensive tackle, college
junior out of j J. He'ssix four three speculated three hundred fifteen pounds
that I found four different changes inthat way. Everybody, Welcome to the
Rob V Show. Would you likeme to continue? Yes. He is

(39:14):
the grand grandson of Bob Strong Scronsky, who was NFL championship tackle for the
Packers. He started all nine gamesof his freshman year and all twelve games
of a sophomore year and named firstteam All Big Ten. He was named
the league's top offensive lineman UH anda first team All Conference selection. In

(39:34):
twenty twenty two, he said,to be the most pro ready tackle in
the country. And that's all Ihave on That's awesome, great, It's
way better than mel Kiper. He'sdurable. Did I do? Did I
do better than Daz? That's allthat matters. Well, hold on a
second. Anytime that you speak andwe don't have to listen to Daz,
that answer is yes, okay, can we talk about this fourth pick?

(39:57):
Pretty much a shocker? A right, why don't you start talking about it?
I don't know what that is?Uh, Anthony Richardson going number four
to the Colts. You got tothink that Shane Stiken wanted him over well
Levis because of what he did herewith Jalen Hurtz and Philly. It could
be the case. But also atthe same time, his skill set is

(40:21):
very, very raw. I mean, like, well, we'll see how
this pans out and if Shane Stykincan be patient with his tool set that
we don't know. Do they havea veteran quarterback that's there right now?
Uh? Him? I was justI was just trying to jump in.
He's a highlight film though. He'sa highlight film and he had a better

(40:43):
season than Levis did. They gotThey got Gardner, Minshewa and Nick Foles.
His accuracy issues though, I meanhe's like fifty, he's two seasons.
He's a working pro. Yes,he's working, but he's a highlight
film. He's a guy's going tobe able to come in and obviously they
got to work with him. He'sgotta mature, just like any other quarterback.
That comes in. But this leagueis going in that direction with these

(41:05):
quarterbacks that can run and that havemaybe issues with passing, but they come
in and they want to develop. He does not start from day one though
I also know, but he's startingbefore the season is over. He has
started for the season before the seasonthat he's a more advanced processor than he
gets credit for it, Like heactually knows what he's looking at. It's
just the accuracy problems are there.I agree, But I think that's something
that can be fixed more than himknowing where to go with the ball,

(41:29):
because because c. J. Stroudfelled that test miserably, I mean,
he's like an eighteen percent. AnthonyRichardson did score high on that to a
new test. It replaced the Wonderlick? Is it the s two? Yeah?
Knowing where to go with the balland getting the ball there or two
different things. Correct. We havea quarterback Hurts that was struggling within that

(41:51):
area the ball but he just couldn'tget it there. But he improved it.
Yes. Actually, the funny partis we had two eagles that are
on the book ends of the wordand best score in the wonder Lick.
Kevin Comb was he the best,Mike mamulaolaty nine, young six, just
for writing his name at the top. Everybody, here's the deal. When

by cheerleaders Gentleman's club. I shouldn'tlet that get out first? Yes,
yes, you should have. Shameon me to the producer, Yeah,
right, I figured week await forthis fifth pick and then double break to
the top of the hour. Yeah, but half the time of picks in

(43:19):
it doesn't come in for two minutesanywhere. Yeah, I know we might
be here. Chance, let's goto break everybody Fox Sports again. They're

in the game, Anderson goes inmotion richardson football baby pack again soon into

(44:32):
Green. Legion Radio is brought toyou by our friends at Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club,
which I am happy. I havea great idea. By the way,
I think I talked to you aboutthis. Hey, everybody, Green
Legion world, imagine this. Imagine, First of all, we have a
great parking scenario for every regional daygame, which is the Giants and the

(44:57):
Commodes every year. And instead ofleaving from an empty parking lot, I
think we're just gonna leave from cheerleadersso that when we come back, we
could just unload four or five busesright into the club. There it is,
there it is. But also also, and I'm sure I'll get scrutinized
by some Catholic on this one, then yeah, let me make it really

(45:20):
clear. I don't give it.Damn uh. They're probably looking for gluten
free rolls. Yeah, yeah,I swear god, you have no idea,
Alicia. Literally literally our trip toKansas City in twenty sixteen, seventeen
seventeen, I had somebody say Iwould like a gluten free roll at the

(45:44):
tailgate. Not gluten free rolls.Hey, hey, hey singular, I
almost wanted to get it, justto throw it at her, straight up
hit her in the noggin. Butimagine we have a buy in for our

(46:04):
clients for the cheerleaders bus to andfrom these games where we charged seventy five
dollars. More, three every threepeople that pay seventy five dollars get on
the bus that pays for a dancerto get on the bus and go to
the game. And we get tenor twelve dancers with thirty or forty people
on the bus as well, Andyou guys are making a crapload of money

(46:25):
on the way up and even moreon the way back. I think it's
a great idea. And if youguys think the radio show will not be
broadcasting from any other bus, thenthe cheerleaders bus. You are absolutely freaking
insane. Um yeah, earth, how you doing? Front seat? Maybe
can I give you a breakdown onI would I would love actually, I

(46:47):
would love for you to go throughyour uh, your your set right now
because a lot of people are comingup. There's in your in your you.
When we start with receivers, wellwhat the spoon just got drafted.
So let's let's seat five and thenwe had a trade at six. Cardinals
just took the six pack from Detroit. Let's just do out Illinois five for

(47:09):
eleven and a half eight and ahalf hundred and eighty one pounds. And
he was projected to go in thefirst round. UM got something a little
bit different. Not the history, you know, school stats and things like
this. This has to do withhis ability to play in the NFL.
He plays with anticipation, route feel, and the constant or consistent sense of

(47:30):
urgency to prevent catches, as displayedin his high number of past break ups.
He plays with ball ball ball hawklike eyes is what it says.
Good balance from his zone coverage, and it's very aggressive tackling both after catches
and during the run, which isgood and run support. There are snaps

(47:52):
where he gets behind and stays behinddude to his lack of premium speed uh,
and he doesn't really have a burstto close when receiver gets in front
of him. His strengths are heallows uh. He only allowed completion rate
thirty four percent thirty four point nine. Sorry, IRV, real quick,
the pick is coming in. It'sgonna be Paris Johnson Junior. You're going

(48:12):
to five tackle. I'm just just'shaving a sidebar. We continues to fall.
Thanks for interrupted, IRV. Thatwas worthwhile. I'm sorry. Well,
people are listening for a live cover. That could have waited, No,
couldn't deal, could have anyway,Remember that the next time Serena says
that to you, She doesn't saythat to me. Serena, you're listening,

(48:34):
right, she could she she doesn'tsay that to me. Uh.
And by the way, Serena Irvisparked it as far off the corner of
his seat as possible right now.And he has impressive route recognition. Eyes
are probing on well balanced and defendinghigh and low route concepts from zones.

(48:57):
He recognizes the route concepts and theroute tree's instinctive. With fourth fourteen pass
breakups in twenty twenty two, uhtakes the ball side angles to disrupt the
catch. You know, he attacksthe ball on the ball side from where
it's coming in to keep the widereceiver from catching the ball. Zero's in
on receivers hands on deep ball. That's a skill that not a lot of

(49:19):
defensive backs have. Tough. That'sthat's that's a receiver when that deep ball
is coming that defensive back. TroyVincent did that very well where he's able
to focus in on the hands ofreceiver and actually, your career if you
did that, well, you knowwhat, because him physical, He's physical

(49:39):
with the striker's mentality. Again,he supports well on the run and when
he tackles his receivers in the pastweaknesses, he can be jab step and
gotten off balance when the receiver doeshis release the coverage, it's handsy when
he's covering, so there's a lotof flags that sluggers in his transitions when

(50:00):
he's moving his hips trying to changedirections. Top end speed is not very
well, not very good. Lexuh juice to make up the distance whenever
receiver gets in front of him,and he will bite hard on play action
and double double move rounds, doublebooze quinny get a lot of that in
the NFL. That's it's what it'sgoing to. But apparently he is a

(50:22):
good cornerback and can be a numberone cornerback because he's drafted in the first
round. This draft is starting topan out the way Quimby was envisioning it.
I mean like we're a few picks. Don't say stuff like that already
means he's the speed of it.He just means the speed. Sick about
hold on. All I heard wasquick say that's what I told you.

(50:46):
Damn what the content is? Iheard two words three Quimby is right,
I mean you got you got Vegas, right Atlanta, Chicago and then the
Eagles. This is falling right intothat range that we were talking about the
beginning of the draft, where youknow, if how he wants to jump
up a few picks or he's gonnasay I think, I think at Lanta

(51:06):
takes him. I do, theymay, but it's going to cost too
much to jump up unless there's justsomebody who carter. Remember, remember this
is a luxury thing, bro.You could if you feel like that's gonna
solidify your defense for the next fouror five years, and you gotta give
up thirty what long with it tojump too? I'm doing it. Is

(51:27):
he a starter right now? Absolutely? At an impact player from the beginning
right now? I mean, whatare your options? I mean, he
definitely starts over Jordan Davis, andhe definitely starts over Milton Williams of course,
so he'll be starting alongside Fletcher Cox. And you know who's starting tonight
at cheerleaders Lacy? How are you, sweetheart? I'm are you good?
Good? Uh? Lacy's part ofthe cheerleader's dream team. Man, she's

(51:51):
dancer. Also at numerous tailgates, yes this year with us. I usually
don't remember who was there? Becausemy head is so far up my kudo,
it's not even funny. I cansay that. It's just as we
had our matching nikes, that wehad our matching nikes. Nikes, Yeah
that was that? Not you wrong, wrong guy? No, hold on,

(52:15):
my feet are two wide for nikes? Oh no, first time Quimby's
mistaken for anybody else? Are wegoing? Are we going for a sock
joke? Now? Now it's notGordon Ramsey talking about a size fourteen shoe
every damn episode of Uncharted. Butyou know, good for him? Yeah,
good lazy. So how long haveyou been there? I've been there

(52:37):
for I guess a year and ahalf now year and a half. And
uh, what is your favorite nightto work? And when can people find
you there? If you got youguys, Hold on a second, there's
she is all right, and noone wants to see Quimby. Y.
I don't know why the hell thecameras actually on me. We're gonna leave

(52:58):
this on Lacy for a for amoment. Very beautiful girl, thank you.
Uh blonde sometimes Uh no, no, no, I'll go with that
blonde sometime most of the time.Uh, Lacy, you'd be you'd be
really hot if you had some curves. In other words, she's got some

(53:20):
curves, la la, Okah, she's she's she's looking at wed nights do
you work? I am usually thereMonday, Wednesdays and Fridays. Um.
Sometimes I'll make a guest appearance ona Saturday or Sunday. Um. And
you you asked me my favorite nightsto work. I love like a good
Wednesday shift so I can get tohang out and actually talk to people and
like get to know people. Um. Fridays are like really fast paced,

(53:45):
which is great. But I'm makingmoney but you don't. Yeah, I
don't get to meet people like thator hang out and chill out. So
I'm a big day week, likea day week week day girls the word.
Yeah, gotcha? Good good? All right? What's today Thursday?
So she's not starting night? Sheshe's not starting to night. She started

(54:06):
tomorrow. I was gonna say shewas going in the work after the show,
there would be more of a bullpenappearance. I got it. There
you go, she is Alvarado. That's correct. She just doesn't look she's
got strikeout stuff. Yeah, seethat all good stuff, Lacy. Do
you want to talk about anything onthat sheet. Um. Sure. So
next week we have Sinco da Drinko. Um. So that's gonna be on

(54:30):
Friday, obviously my fifth that's noonuntil nine. We have six dollar coronas
and Corona lights, ten dollars, margharitas and street tacos three for thirteen and
then the following night is a fightnight. So come watch the fight with
us on our seventy five foot TV'swall. That's awesome and Serena just one

(54:52):
more time. You can see thespace that IRV is creating over here.
I just need you to do meone favor here, and it's if you're
gonna sit that chair, you haveto say it ds sucks. Yes,
I promise, I swear it's correct. Just say ducks yes sucks. There
we go. Can we cut thatfor the sound board John Chance? And

note, they're super nice, superfriendly, very informative. You can ask
them all kinds of questions. They'reawesome. Yeah, no, absolutely,

(59:00):
and they'll cut the light. Andthe funny part about my efforts trying to
get somebody to sponsor from a cigarstandpoint, like cheerleaders Okay, example,
all right, you guys coming withthe Dream team and you're giving away tickets

because you're killing it. I mean, how much has he charged for cigars?
Down? Ten fifteen bucks? Kindof what it normally? Yeah?
Yeah, right, But the awesomething is he has to sell thirty to
make up for a sponsorship. Likeyou don't have to bring a cutter down.
You don't have to bring and theydo. They do it all right

on one hundred and twenty six carrieshis senior year thirty eight touchdowns out of
one hundred and twenty six carries. The Eagles have traded up one spot.
Wow on the clock right now andwe're out of here. They're getting Jr.

(01:02:24):
Wow. They're taking Carter. Didyou guys talk? I got what
they had to give up for thatshouldn't be much, maybe a two.
Take a look here, but nothing'scoming across right now. No, tom
Pella Sero looks like broke the news. I'm not seeing anything yet, but
the Eagles are on the clock.I mean, if it's not Jalen Carter,

(01:02:45):
who else do you guys think itwould be? That is just broke
Eagles Albert Brier. Eagles are takingGeorgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter. Wow,
look it, I'm sorry. Wait, can we say it one more time?
Say it all of you? Andwhat did I say to you about?
What did I know? With thenumber nine pick in the twenty twenty

(01:03:08):
three NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eaglesselect Jalen Carter, defensive tackle from Georgia.
You know what I'm hoping, Jansen. Normally that goes before but hold
on, hold on, hold on. Oh you're giving me the finger.
Quimby was right last year about JordanDavis two, which was another Davis is

(01:03:30):
gonna be a stud once he getshis head out of his gentleman side chatter,
sidechatter. Defensive tackle out of Georgia, which is the same thing,
which you better You better hope thisone pans out, because you would have
predicted two busts over the last twoyears. He better get his crap together.
I don't like you. Well,yeah, that'd be the case.

(01:03:52):
The Eagles are addressing. See youconsidered to be a hole in the defense,
are it? Guy? Brian isgonna be calling in here in a
couple of minutes, just seeing howeverybody. No more entries, no more
entries for the regional trip. Yourchoice of commodes the Giants, Jets,

(01:04:15):
trip for two, trip for two. Off the chain, man, you
off the chain. I'm having funalone. I was hung over his balls
earlier. I'm feeling better now aftera couple of shots. Balls are normally
hung anyway. Uh so hold ona second. Also, all right,
I said, Jalen Carter? Butwhat else? What else did I say?
They would trade up to eight, but they trade it up nine.

(01:04:38):
So you're wrong, because the goodnews is you're fired. Someone had to
get fired to night. That's theworst part. I can't use the soundboard
anymore. No, there you go. Then, yeah, excuse me,
that's a good thing. You don'thave the board. It looks like you're
hosting butt like baseball brunch on umwho has? Uh? Who has?

(01:05:04):
Jalen? I do? Go?Alrighty, So, Jalen Carter. He's
been in the news, uh sadlyearlier this year. But first off,
junior defensive tackle from George A likeI mentioned, twenty two years old,
six three three, fourteen from now. This is one. I can't pronounce

(01:05:24):
a popca, a popca or apopka Florida. Uh. They had him
as the top ranked defensive lineman inthe draft. So getting him at nine.
Pretty good pick, right, it'sawesome. God, they looked at
her, Becky, look at theymoved up one pick. What did they
give for a twenty twenty four fourthrounder? Now when all they gave up?

(01:05:45):
I remember the Eagles are slated tohave thirteen picks next They probably they
probably told Chicago this is who we'retaking. Do you want of them?
And they said, we don't care. Here's the fourth round, fourth round
pick. Wow? Thanks, geeyou wow? Howie Roseman, that's a
that's beautiful Jamire Gibbs at thirty. Now all right, well hold on,

(01:06:08):
let's let's do our work here realquick. Jansen, you got Brian on
hold right now. Thanks. He'snot the best color and us in the
league for nothing, Monnie? Uh? Can you can you patch him in?
That was? Yeah, he's there, Brian. What's up, buddy?

(01:06:28):
Are you sir? Show? Ah? Thanks man, appreciate it.
Dad. You always say that becauseI pay you and it's dans free.
But you didn't pay me to saythat. Ah, thank you, thank
you. By the way, didyou uh did you hear? Have you
been listening? I was right again. Everyone heard you say you were right.

(01:06:48):
I think that's how it goes.Hey, Brian, let's do this
real quick because we've got a lotof stuff to do and we only have
one more break and this show isover, which is awesome, but there's
Arthur. How many entries did wewind up having as of right now?
Right now, you have let mescow holy down the bottle with four hundred

(01:07:12):
and fifty nine entries. Good?Okay, So as we said we were
going to do this, I'm goingto let Sirie call out this fate.
All right, everything's got to sell, right, Brian? Yeah? Good?
Four fifty nine. Yep, Hey, Sirie, pick a random number

(01:07:33):
between one and four fifty nine.Great job, Siries, say, would
your chest try this again? She'smad at you. I had the ringer
off. Hey, Sirie, picka random number between one and four fifty
nine. The answer is four hundredand thirty one. Wow. Wow,

(01:07:57):
somebody that got in probably today. It was a good number. Four thirty
one. Who is four thirty one? Brian? Michelle meant, I spell
that last name m Etz Mets.Michelle Mets. Now she loses her last
name is Matts. Now we can'tpick another pack another number, Seri,

(01:08:19):
everybody, Michelle, the views andopinions of the show are not necessarily the
view everybody. Michelle Mets. MichelleMatts, you just want a trip for
two to either the Commodes, theVagiants, or the Jets this year,
we will get in touch with youvia email. Congratulations, are we coming
up on a break here? Ithink we are. Yeah, So let

(01:08:41):
me get my last read in.Don't hang a lot, hang out a
loan in the band cave for anyseason. For baseball season, try hanging
out of cheerleaders with sexy entertainers fourdollars, domestic beers, Jamison Specials,
and awesome rises during football season. That's right, stopping before, during,

(01:09:02):
or after any game not only tosee your favorite entertainers Lacy, but also
your chance to win an awesome gameday prize. During football season, the
most epic game day experience is acheerleaders Gentleman's club where champions play cheerleaders,
is open daily from noon until twoam. You guys, Jayleen Carter to

(01:09:23):
Georgia. The middle of our defenseis two time national champion Georgia Nakobe Dean,
Jordan Davis, Jayalen Carter. Imean, you gotta think it's gonna
pay out. It has to doyou want analysis? Are we going to
break? We're going to break, all right. Green Leads of Radio live

(01:09:45):
coverage the first round of the NFLDraft twenty twenty three, brought to you
by our friends at cheer Leaders Gentleman'sClub. You guys will be back right
after this. Jean Turner, sois he? Yeah? Great? Highlight?

(01:10:10):
Yeah? Thanks? Oh god, what did he do? Honestly,
that that's Sean Brace commercial might bemy favorite of all time. I didn't
know that was him. I've hearda million times. I didn't know with
him. Ah God, that everybody. Green Legion Radio here on Fox Sports
The Gambler one two point five FM, Philadelphia, brought to you by our

(01:10:32):
friends at cheer Leaders Gentlemen's Club.We do have Alicia and Lacy here from
Cheerleaders right now. Alicia is kindof wearing about the same amount of clothing
that she would wear at the club. There's not too much with those jeans,
uh, you know, or nottoo much left, I guess is
probably what we should say. Waitdid I say, Alicia? It's all

(01:10:55):
right? I had a couple ofshots already, you guys, As as
you know, the show usually leaddegrades itself by now, I'm good.
I just want you to say something. You know, you've been really quiet
over there. I've been watching youknow, the people that I've studied or
you know, got got my youknow, I was assigned to give stats

(01:11:15):
on today. None of them cameup yet, so you know, and
you know my whole spiel about um, you know, Bijon Robinson and the
need for the Eagles or well benefitof Let me ask you this because what
what because I'm not happy right now? This is your special I'm not happy
right now, that's all. Whatwhat do you want? I mean,

(01:11:38):
we're we're ten picks deep now andthere hasn't been a wide receiver left.
But this is not a big widereceiver. But I would like to see
the last time a wide receiver hasnot been taken in the top ten,
because there's been some pretty heavy widereceiver drafts in the last couple of years,
but this is not one of them, even the ones that I have,
you know, at the top ofmy list. As far as receivers,

(01:11:59):
yeah, Jackson, and I guessnone of these teams have been that
desperate to you know, reach, not that explosive. They're they're not highlight
films. They're not that big ofa difference maker. Yeah, it's not
Marvin Harrison junior. No, who'sgonna be top five next next year?
Ye? Yes, although the otherguy from Ohio State is supposed to be
one of the top wide receivers, right the guy? Now, yeah,

(01:12:21):
I'm not even gonna try to pronounceit. Yeah, meanie. Actually,
this class, this draft should bea fairly good a tight end. It
should be a good class with tightend. Oh yeah, yes, interesting,
Yeah, there there's definitely not enoughJalen Raygar wide receiver quality players.
But the Chicago attend takes Darnell Rightfrom Tennessee, so I haven't even seen

(01:12:42):
him close. Sam's guy didn't evenget picked. Two things that I want
to talk about and uh one wediscussed a little bit earlier, which was,
you know, picking these players fromten See. I get it,
it's an SEC school, but it'snot a powerhouse when it comes to football.

(01:13:03):
Matter of factor is useful as boobson fish, all right, I'm
glad you And that's and that's mythat's my that's the same thing I'm saying
about Scronsky. It's Northwestern. Theywon one game this year. I think
it's a little bit different when itcomes to you didn't block. Anybody was
gonna say, what do you haveto go level competition? All right,

(01:13:23):
I get it, but uh,I'm gonna come back to that. But
I want to circle to you orbecause you were a player in nineteen eighty
four, that's all right, man, you and tweeted that out. I'm
like, why don't you just showher? He still looks better than any
of us. Yea, the restof us are fast slobs. Yeah,

(01:13:45):
I don't know. I don't thinkthat's saying much though. With the people
and the gentleman in this room. Here's the chancing's eating taco bell. He's
like, I ever eating taco bellever? You know what? Chance?
And we appreciate you hitting that thatmute button every time. Yeah, thanks
for your analysis. On tennis.Who was literally ten and two last season?
Literally tenant two doesn't mean squatting football. Peg State has been tendant to

(01:14:06):
the last twelve season Tennessee, Alabamaand Kentucky. Last season, the only
team that they lost the two teamsthey lost to with Georgia and they lost
to South Carolinas Hooker towards here's theonly problem him him, I can't.
The only way I can cut offJansen is if we lose the fee here

(01:14:28):
you want all disconnect? Are westill getting paid for a full show?
An hour and a half a Jansen? Yeah, thanks, welcome. Tell
me what it was like as aplayer when you were coming out of college
in the draft you would already toldus this story. I believe last year

(01:14:49):
it wasn't wasn't quite what it isnow. It was, Yeah, but
you still had to have jitters. You know, where am I going?
What? What? What is thefuture for Irving Fryar a young man coming
out of Nebraska? Where am Igoing to be playing? Where? Who's

(01:15:10):
who am I going to be tryingto take to a Super Bowl? Which,
by the way, you did.Uh, I'm curious what it's what
it was like for Well, itactually started before the NFL draft, because
remember the USFL was at its highpoint when I came out, so there
were a lot of there were alot of athletes coming out of college that
year that the USFL was sucking up. So I actually had my you know,

(01:15:34):
my experience in terms of being draftedin all of that with the USFL
before the NFL draft had an opportunityto go sit in the Trump Tower and
negotiate with Donald Trump. He didn'twant to guarantee my contract, so that's
why I didn't sign with the USFL. But but it was not anything near.
I didn't know you had Trump ties, because I'm gonna played that for

(01:15:57):
you every time. I don't becausethe good news, the ties, they're
never tied. It was never tied. There was never anybody heard. You
guys were best friends. Yeah, you heard wrong, Okay, don't start
lies. Don't worry your street credits, not Jeff fake news. Yeah,
but no, it wasn't. Itwasn't nearly what this is now. There
weren't a whole lot of people around. I actually signed my contract before the

(01:16:20):
draft was actually took place, SoI just showed up to be announced as
the first player taken, and thenI got back in the car went home.
Seriously, Yeah, it was reallynot very eventful. Yeah, I
mean swag at that time. Imean, these guys are wearing like five
thousand dollars. Was crazy. He'swearing a flannel and jean short. Yeah.
Well, I mean they're sponsored byat this right right. It was

(01:16:42):
it was their first time they couldget away with actually being sponsored by Janleen
was getting ripped the other day forthe Gucci suit he was wearing because he
left the tag on, Like,No, that's what the young that's young
kids do now, they leave thetags whatever. You what have you seen
somebody to take a tag off ahat recently? Right, That's what the
kids do now. They leave thetags on their suits on a suit coach
sort of suit jackets. That's whatthe kids do with the kids. They're

(01:17:02):
kids, all right, man, that's how's that? How's that fence you're
sitting on right now? How's thatfence I'm sitting on right now? They're
kids? What the kids be?They're kids. I'm just say kids,
they are kids. Yeah, Ilove you too. Those that can't see
this right now? What do wegot going on? Who's coming up?
Tennessee's on the clock, which isgoing to be interesting the way, Who

(01:17:26):
is the sack ass that started this? Derek? I was going to ask,
well, he's affiliated with someone that'saffiliated with Derrick Henry that's also affiliated
to it at all? Absolutely not. So would you be opposed to Derek
Henry coming here? Absolutely for atwenty twenty four fourth round pick let's do
it. Hold on for a thirdor fourth round pick, sure, But

(01:17:48):
but for straight up yeah, whywhy is he on the team. I
mean, he was good for thefirst six games. If you guys,
If you guys remember, we werewe were analyzing that Tennessee game pretty hard
when they came to town. Wewere all worried about Derrick Henry. But
if you looked at his stats fromfrom this past season, I mean,

(01:18:10):
he had a couple really excellent DerrickHenry games, and then he had a
couple really terrible Derrick Henry games. That's two point nine, two point seven,
two point five yards per carry. That was one of those games against
US. One of those games againstUS. Yeah, but you don't but
you know why, you know whyhe was so ineffective against US. Jonathan

(01:18:33):
Gannet. Jonathan Gannon didn't play asnap. All right, here's the Titan
selection coming up. Scotta be willLevis, right, Will Levis, don't
spoil it for US. Yeah,Jansen, shut the hell up, Shore

(01:19:00):
up that offensive line for Malik Willis. Wow, we could have trained it
back in spot and got Scarinski.Yeah, and twenty fourth round we got
we got got watch this guy belike you guys are killing me today.

(01:19:25):
First, this has been one ofthe most entertaining shows we've had a long
time. Yeah, I mean thefirst time we've all been in the room
together. I mean we've all footballseason. Yeah, but I just I
thought I would add to this beforeyou got And to go back to brutally
interrupted is because Daz isn't here greatand I agree with that as well.

(01:19:45):
So you think Derek Henry wants tostay to go to go back to back.
The twelfth pick is already in.The Lions are taking Jamir Gibbs.
Wow. Alabama running backs yep,Wow, that's a reach. They already
have running backs. Ye. Well, they lost from All Williams. I
know that, but they still haveDeAndre Swift correct, yeah, sah,

(01:20:05):
and they saved David Montgomery sack. This is your guy, if you would
have hit it. Yeah. JamirGibbs, junior running back from Alabama.
Also just turned twenty one March twentieth, five foot nine, two hundred pounds
out of Dalton, Georgia. Seewhat I did there, Dalton, Georgia.
As a senior in high school,he led the state with two five
hundred and fifty four rushing yards andforty touchdowns. Senior high school, named

(01:20:28):
first team All State, the Georgia'ssix A twenty twenty Offensive Player of the
Year, and a first team AllAmerican by Sports Illustrated. He transferred to
Alabama for the twenty twenty two seasonafter spending first two seasons it was a
college career at Georgia Tech. Wasvoted second team All SEC. Nine hundred
twenty six rushing yards, one hundredand fifty one attempts with seven touchdowns,
forty four receptions for one hundred forfour hundred and forty four yards and three

(01:20:53):
touchdowns. He draws comparisons to AlvinKamara. He majored in literature, Media
and Communication, and also he canreturn kicks too, so he's multifaceted ball.
That's a huge reach. If they'resigning David Montgomery, you already have
DeAndre Swift. I mean, youdon't bulk up a position you already have

(01:21:16):
players at it with the twelfth overallpick, especially a guy that's not slated
to go till the end of thefirst round, maybe early second. Seriously,
maybe they have plans on shifting hunsense. Hold on a second,
Seriously, why are you questioning thismove. It's the Ford family. They're
one of the dumbest owners in sports. That's the saying. Last year,

(01:21:40):
the problem with Detroit was the defense. It wasn't the offense. The offense
moved the ball. Jared Golf inthe last I am saying, I am
saying, do you actually find itweird that they threw a crazy ivan in
this thing? Crazy? Who wasthe last ranked defense in football last sear
the Detroit Lions? Detroit? Wellit was Detroit yep. Run against the

(01:22:06):
run. Yeah, that makes nosense. I mean, man, I
don't get that at all. Titanswere against the pass gainst the run.
I thought it was the past runbecause we torched them with the Well,
let's make sure we have some morebad radio by continuing the negotiation. Let's
go back and forth past run yes, no, yes, no, yes,
yes season, rabid season. Actually, to add to this insult to

(01:22:30):
injury, I don't think Detroit wasthe worst. They were. They were
the worst in in in the pastdefense. Titans were the wars in the
past. Well, then it wasthe run. I don't know, everybody.
Welcome to Green Legion Radio's crap showthat I'll sure this up. I've

(01:22:51):
been doing pretty good so far.Crap show presented by Taco Bell. So
I'm broadcasting from from the sports Barand the Dominican about but three saturdays ago?
Jansen? Is that how long it'sbeen. It feels like it's been
forever ago. I want to forgetthat. I love you. I do.

(01:23:15):
Uh So the food at the atthe resort is is they have a
new chef. It's not so good. Do that again. I can do
it as many times as you bepicked off the second the worst pass defense.
Last year with the tendency Huitans,Bikings were number one pass defense.
Anyway, Uh, I finally gottired of it. I was hung over.

(01:23:41):
I was late, of course, shut up. Uh it was twelve
thirty. I wanted to get somethingin my stomach before I started a broadcast.
And the beefheat as they had, were like chewing on rubber. So
I confronted the manager of the ofthe sports bar, and I didn't do
it very professionally. No, whyJansen's listening to this as all of a

(01:24:06):
sudden, Oh he did tell me. And there's five more people in suits
that show up to the bar.Two security guards. Now keep in mind,
I owned this place. I've beento this resort twenty five times,
all right, and we work withthem every year for the bye week.
I wasn't getting thrown out, soI thought. And as all these security

(01:24:30):
guards started hovering around me, andthe suits started hovering around me, because
I'm in the back corner of thebar. You know that that that one
small section that I just take wherenobody's allowed to sit except me with the
big TV. No or on theother side, on the other side,
by the by the kitchen, likehe's tucked in and yeah, shady,
yeah, absolutely where I just catcalling random women two words that Quimby late.

(01:25:00):
Uh. But literally, I thoughtI was gonna get thrown out,
and I'm talking to Jansen and I'mI'm I'm actually a little nervous right now.
I'm like Jansen, dude, I'mgonna get tossed right now. And
I don't remember what happened, butI was losing my train of thought,
and I dropped an F bomb andJansen goes, Quimby, come on right
as I'm about to get thrown outof the bar, Quimby, come on,

(01:25:24):
man. I didn't get thrown out, but I did not say it
at all. It was. Itwas great getting ostracized by Jansen. Excuse
me, we lost the feet ofthe Dominican. This is the line change
on Saturday with John Jansen. Yeah, it was great. How many radio,
But we're gonna have hand things offfor the last They cut it over
to Sean Brace's top Dog Law commercial. Guys are out of control tonight.

(01:25:50):
That's what I'm being quiet because it'sjust out of control. Detroit was the
worst rush defense. That's where werethe Titans? Are we still on this
game? Where were the Titans?Remember the Titans? Where Titans were in
the middle of the side. Yeah, they were in the middle side,
strong side. If I don't wantthem to gain another yards, that's a

(01:26:15):
great If they can't dast that lineof scrimmage, I swear I will sit
every one of you. Um.We also have the Yeah, that was
a disgrace. Can you cut thisfeed? That was actually pretty good?
Thirteen pick kiss my ass chance?Come on, coach Jose Green. The
Packers at thirteen are taking Iowa defensiveend Lucas Yes, yes, because he

(01:26:44):
was rumored to go to the Eagles. I didn't want There's no reason for
an edge radio. He ain't droppingthe third I'm sorry, there was no
reason for an edge rusher because ourbiggest need was defensive tackle. You know,
the the rumors that were going aroundus taking Pete Scarronski like, it's
just annoyed me. Like if youlook at the Eagles offensive line, that

(01:27:05):
is annoying is taking Bijon No butno, no, look if it's just
idiotic. If you look at theEagles offensive line last season, Okay,
left tackle was a seventh round pick, second round pick, and you're on
your left guard. Your center wasa sixth round pick. Okay, your
right guard was a third round pick. The only first round pick you had,

(01:27:28):
and that whole entire offensive line wasLane Johnson. Why why would you
Pete Scarronsky stop and he doesn't yourround? There's there's He's not better than
anybody on that offensive line. Draftthe tackle to go to sit behind your
left tackle you just signed to abig extension, and to sit behind a
guy that hasn't gone on a sackin three years, I mean, come
on, like, could we bereal here? You can get one of

(01:27:49):
those guys later on. Give himthe Stoutling University. By the way,
Sam is completely messed up. Weall knew that. Wow, well as
we think. I'm the only onethat can see her. Sam, have
you been drinking? I know Ihave a direct line of site. Every
time someone brings him up, Igrabbed my papers. Yeah, every time

(01:28:13):
anybody brings up she's like, She'slike, I have have statistics on scrons.
You look at the person that Igot picked to do, and that's
all we can get away from it. IRV did all that research on all
those players, and he got oneguy that got cut off by you.
We've got fifteen minutes left. Well, but anyway, fourteenth picked. New

(01:28:36):
England's on the clock. Will Levisis on the board. They're out on
Mac Jones. The spot is thiswhere he goes? Or do you think
they go in a different direction Ifit's the quarterback guy, he gets passed
if he gets past New England.Okay, the Jets Aaron Rodgers Levis you're
talking about? Yes, Washington hasWashington. That's a spot right there.

(01:28:58):
Do you think maybe Tampa at nineteenYeah, I mean you know, then
it really drops off from there. It could be interesting Minnesota. No,
Kirk Cousins makes too much money, but I definitely think what do you think.
I don't know, you think couldcould work with him Levis in Washington,

(01:29:19):
Yeah, yeah, I think hecould. I mean, I mean,
it couldn't be worse than Taylor Heinickyor you know the ghost of Carson
Wentz. Hey didn't Heinicky beat us? I was. I was surprised by
went there was. I mean,I would think that New England and Belichick
are licking their chops at fourteen witha love. I'm just kidding. You

(01:29:42):
need to use the bathroom. Yeah, uh, the safest one. The
safest one is that way. Don'tuse the studio bathroom. And now everybody
who's listening, Now, everybody who'slistening knows she had to go to the
bathroom. Hold on many times? If I told people I gotta drop a
deuce on this show, Oh mygod, I remember once? Did Janson

(01:30:05):

(01:32:26):
I'm just gonna play this song orthe rest of the show. I
was thinking more jump on it.But if you want to go that route,
go for it. I'm always youshould be happy you were right.
Such a it's such a shame youdon't have a soundboard. Yeah, you

(01:32:47):
should be happy Quinby with your pick. You were right today. That's why
he's playing so lazy. If youstart snapping in the rhythm, you just
keep going what's your what's your goto song? When you're up on the
stage, like, what's the Wedon't wait? Really no, I thought

(01:33:09):
the girls coping with the fast.I don't know, but you, oh
my god, you brought up apparentlya very sensitive topic. Did you just
here laying it out? No?No, no, no no, I'd
rather not that. The pressure ison when you have to pick your songs.
I don't think I have a gotwo song. I don't know.
Jeez, yeah, what is whatis your old? Are you? I'm

(01:33:32):
twenty five? So I like, like, yeah, what I thought you
were gonna have a white wristband atwork? Be honest with you. They're
pain that, they're they're sorry, sorry, it was it was it was
the other spot I'm learning. Idon't know. I got to remember that
for the grand thousands R and BTHO. That's fun, all right,

(01:33:54):
I'm picking your songs and next timeI'm in there, and you know,
definitely, I'm sure if you handthe DJ like twenty thirty bucks, I'll
let you. I'm not gonna dothat. I'd rather hand it to you.
I appreciate. Yeah, and youknow true, don't don't let Quimby
pick your songs. Quimby kim intwenty to thirty dollars, You'll be dancing
to photograph by that. Are yougonna play that. He's gonna play that.

(01:34:18):
Now, he's going to the playlist. He's going to the playlist.
What are you giving me? Four? Not you? I didn't say it.
You're waving it all over the room. I wish DS was here for
that one. Yeah, I'll do. He would be flipping out, he

(01:34:39):
would be changing over into his playoffclause room. No, that's that's a
nickel buck. Yeah, and Ifeel like this definitely. Ah No,
No, I don't have that. That's dance and Dance studio. What this
isn't the photograph you want to quimbygrowing up in the eighties with a mullet.

(01:35:09):
You guys don't know what it's like. I think you should go.
Yeah, you should excuse me,Lacy. I did not know that you
were going to be here. It'sin the closet. I could you know.
I'll make arrangements next time. Canwe bring back the couch? No,
that thing got up and walked outof here on its own. It

(01:35:30):
found its own job. No,if we ever told our guests what that
couch had been through. Oh God, keeping in mind, Rob believe us,
UH good good friend of the program. The Rob v Show. Uh
concentrates predominantly on the adult film industry, and we had many we hadn't No,

(01:35:53):
we hadn't many uh many adult filmstars in here, whether they were
feature dancing somewhere or just visiting.Uh oh boy, if if, if,
if they ever knew the shenanigans thattook place on the IKEA Black Couch

(01:36:16):
that was here for eight years, way longer than IKEA anticipated to It took
eight years to put it together andthen it stood there for eight years.
Honestly, honestly, if you gotclose enough, there was a waft.
That's the most disgusting things bad.There's definitely a whaft. There's a waft

(01:36:41):
going on in the iHeart Radio studio. Can't wait to get the letter.
Can't wait to get the email fromJeff Moore tomorrow. Quimby might be pushing
it a little bit, all right, boss, set the couch or post
Jansen Taco belt. He's produced inthe show right now on the couch,

(01:37:02):
Diz, I hope you're listening outthere. This show is so much better
without you. Hold lay say itagain. You saw by the way the
jets taking forever at fifteen. Reallyto make a pick, what do you
expect from Woody Johnson. Yeah,I mean the Jets organized organization as a

(01:37:26):
whole, Woody, you gotta thinkthey go defense. Well, hold on
a second, Uh, who wastheir receiver they picked up last year?
Garrett Wilson, Garton Gardener the offensiveand defensive rookies of the year. Last
year. They did a phenomenal jobwith their draft picks. Do well.

(01:37:47):
I guess the question is, didAaron Rodgers come over there and say,
Hey, I need or want this, which I didn't? Get Lazard they
brought. They brought in from GreenBay. They're gonna get Bryce Hall Backe.
They have weapons on offense, andtheir defense was pretty damn good for

(01:38:09):
most of the reason why they wentnine. And you know what, the
good thing for a er they're talkingsuper Bowl this year. That I'm just
saying, I was saying they're talkingsuper Bowl was a tough conference. Hold
on, it's a stretch, stretch, it'll never happen. Bad ownership,
bad exacts, bad general manager, bad accounting, bad management, bad players,

(01:38:30):
bad team. Sorry stems from thetop. But you know what the
good thing is they have a betterrecord this year. Aaron Rodgers will have
a city with fifteen million people andat least at least fourteen million of them
are as ugly as Shaleen Woodley. It's pretty accurate. The movie I walked

(01:38:51):
with her and it was pretty good. Remember what it was? It wasn't
did you could you clip? Couldyou please clip that one? This was
Virgin Virgin Ye I wasn't the onewhere she gets stranded on the boat with
the dude. I'm sorry that wason That was on port Hub. No,

(01:39:11):
it was, uh, that waswatch his Lifetime. It's a good
movie. Who the jet stake? We're waiting on time has its moments?
Not really? Oh my god?We al was done? Janson? Do
you have anything that I got nothingfrom the rest of the show, He's

(01:39:32):
got Taco Bill. He can't.He can't possibly like feed off of what
we have been talking about for thelast half hour. I'm just hoping I
still have my job after this.Hey, don't blame it on me.
Everybody else does. Bro, don'tworry about it. I got you covered.
Um. Before we get out ofhere, let's get everybody's final thoughts.

(01:39:53):
Well, uh, do you wantto go first or last? I
want to go last? All right, Good Sam, I got I got
nothing. You guys didn't want tohear about Hold on a second. All
you need to do is all youneed to do is this ready? Oh
and then there's my guy right here. Ye. All next season you're gonna
be You're going up one. Youwill know everything next season about Peter.

(01:40:16):
Let's go live to stand for aPete Scarronski reports he had three pancakes last
week. Thanks. Oh, I'mfollowing him on Twitter like yesterday, slash
what do you got? Um?I think we landed in a perfect world
where Bijan Robinson got picked already. So with the Eagles selecting Jalen Carter,
you don't have people going, oh, this is a big mistake. They

(01:40:39):
should have gone Robins. Blah blahblah. He was already gone. The
Eagles traded up to nine to securethe Jalen Carter pick, only giving up
what was that the fourth rounder nextyear. Ye. So I think we're
living in a utopia right now.I mean the Eagles just went to the
Super Bowl. They got lucky withthe fact that the Saints sucked last year.
We got the tenth pick of thedraft. We traded a fourth round

(01:41:00):
pick to move up to nine, and we got the best player. I
mean, like seriously, if hedidn't have his issues as a player available
at the position we need. Yeah, but he would have also point if
he didn't have those issues after theNational Championship game, he would have went
number one over one right overall.Right Now, I'm not a fan of
the guy because of all the thingsthat have come out, but you got
the best player at the premium positionthat you need on your defense to build

(01:41:25):
a round. If Jordan Davis canget his head out of his ass and
this kick can get himself together, the VP for the Eagles next season will
be their nutritionists real quick. Ijust I have to think. Because these
guys were teammates, because they werenext to each other, hold each other
accountable. I gotta believe that thiswill not only be impactful from a Jalen

(01:41:48):
Carter standpoint, but from a JordanDavis push one another because they worked together.
He'll come in. He'll fit inbecause they're familiar with one another.
Prayerfully, he'll be able to pickJordan. He should motivate him. Yeah,
he'll be able to pick Jordan Davisup, and uh, Jordan will
get on track this year. I'mlooking forward to what how he's going to
do from now until the season begins, because you know last year he made

(01:42:11):
a few more it didn't It wasn'tjust a j. Brown. He made
a few more moves on c JJ. He wasn't until August, right right,
So it wasn't DJ. I'm lookingforward. I'm looking forward to seeing
what how he's going to do betweennow and then. Keep in mind,
it doesn't end here. They havethirty. They might trade back in the
second round, which in the secondround, and they's have sixty quick,

(01:42:34):
real quick, I know you can'tshut up, and that's fine, um
uh, real quick analysis. Ijust think it was a smart pick.
It was the right pick, andit it fell where it needed to be.
But I want to go back aroundreal quick. I'm gonna avoid Sam
because she's gonna tell me she doesn'tknow uh uh, and I'll go John

(01:42:57):
Jansen. No, well, we'llgo Jansen, we'll go Slash, we'll
go Sack, and we'll go Herb. What do the Eagles do with the
thirtieth pick Jansen trade? They eithertrade or they go and get Zach Charbia.
But I think they'll trade back inthe second round and take an early
pick on a running back. Iwas gonna say the same thing I was

(01:43:18):
gonna say, they either trade backor if they find it running back that
they really like to match what theyhave in the backfield already, they go
with a running back at thirty.I see no way that they draft at
number thirty. I think they're gonnatry and add more picks to their disposal,
perhaps in a third rounder, totheir tucks on. I've already taken

(01:43:39):
five shots on myself about that one. So it's all good, it's all
well and good. But I seethem trading back unless they absolutely love a
player at thirty. But I donot foresee that happening. They're gonna be
in the early part of the secondround and making that pick, and they
always do want to do well inthe second round. They have a history
of you trafting very well in thesecond round, Shady Dawkins. When you
think about the running jack, yousee Kenny game well and started. Do

(01:44:00):
you see Boston Scott as the starters. No, they need a running back.
Picking a running back, and thatwhether it's the thirty or whether it's
the second round, they trade backhuge. Yeah, I believe as well,
they're gonna trade back, but don'tbe surprised if you see them go
tight end. You don't have muchdepth at that position, right, Goddard

(01:44:23):
as that is at the same agenow as zach Ertz was when they drafted
Dallas Goddard. That's huge. That'sthat's a pick. They need depth at
the tight end end and it's agood tight end class it is. It's
a good quick, good tight endsout there. Before we sign off here
fifteen, the Jets took Will McDonaldedge rusher from Iowas and the pick right

(01:44:44):
now is in for the Commodes.Wait he isn't even in the top twenty.
Yeah, I did not see muchof it. Okay, again,
the Jets right the Lion get aknucklehead. Two picks that were like,
uh, did anybody do research onWill McDonald? Probably not? Yeah,

(01:45:06):
yeah, now we had him pickedlate in the second round. You jackass,
that's got a Wikipedia. That's whatI think, right, you know,
you know what I'm gonna I'm gonnago off for about twenty seconds here.
You've heard me talk about this before. I swear it's bad for the
league owners like these ass hats inDetroit, in Miami, in New York.

(01:45:32):
Uh, in Arizona. It's badfor the league. You know why
it pisses me off because you knowwhat, I would love it if Detroit
was competitive every year because we windup playing them once every four years out
there. But I can't get morethan a hundred and fifty people to go
on that trip because they suck. It's bad for the league, and I

(01:45:55):
Commissioner Goodell had any nuts whatsoever,he would appoint a committee, an evaluation
committee. In this day and eight, with the way the league, especially
the NFL, is designed, youcan go from worst to first in one
year. If you're sitting at topfive draft picks for five years in a

(01:46:18):
row, you should not be theowner of a football franchise. There is
something fundamentally wrong with you. That'sall I got. If you want to
uh, I know, we're reallygonna get out of here, but if
you want to continue that trend ofterrible ownership and terrible picks. The Commanders
just selected number sixteen overall, ohMan and I just defensive tackle. No,

(01:46:45):
they took a cornerback. Help me, Emmanuel Forbes from John John Harris,
No Gonzalez from gonzal where Joey Porterwhere Mississippi, Mississippi State. Manuel
Forbes from Mississippi State. That seemslike again again, thank you, thank
you, thank you. Well. The funny thing is is this is this

(01:47:09):
a Daniel Snyder pick or a JoshHarris pick? It doesn't matter. Hold
on, Do I want Josh Harristo be the owner of the commotes?
Yes? Yes, you let JimmyButler go. You're a complete and total
jackass. Thank you. I thinkJansen is about the blow ups we have
to get. Yeah, we gottasign off here. We got exactly halfway

(01:47:30):
through that. We got exactly halfwaythrough the draft. It's good. First
everybody, Uh, First, Iwould like to thank Alicia and Lacy from
Cheerleaders for Yes, thank you forsponsoring properly christening our new sponsorship and partnership.
Look forward to once again, likeI said in our meeting, not

(01:47:51):
only branding uh the cheerleader's name, but ringing the register. And we're gonna
do that. And not only areour clients loyal to a core, they
spend a lot of money. Loveand ready did you just see that?

(01:48:12):
Lacy was all the way over hereand I said that she heard money like
a mire, like a mere Cat'sgreat, like the like the Chip Kelly
offensive line, mere cat set up. Oh god, check ass Alicia.
Thank you for coming in. Everybody, cheerleaders, Gentlemen's club on Front Street.

(01:48:33):

Yes, Sir Friar, appreciate you. That's me. Thanks for coming in
to my apartment when I was inthe shower. Uh, I didn't.
I didn't want it. I didn't. I didn't real quick. Did you

(01:48:56):
do research on Emmanuel Forbes? Yeah? What was on your list? I
just yeah, yeah, no quarterbacknow four. No, he was not
on my list. I'm I wasjust checking to see how far down he
was in terms of the time jJ. Nothing, okay, just making
sure super Sam Brady see where heis. It is always a pleasure.
Thank you, by the way,for all of your help while I was

(01:49:20):
away, especially with Stephanie ringing herlike five in. Yeah, and by
the way, I was too hungoverto have lunch with her today, so
she's pissed at me. We havethe conference call while she's on her way
to avalon tomorrow. She probably hadlunch with Ben Roethlisberger. Ben there anyway,
