jealous of the other them are working hard and saying,
look man to you know, together we can continue to
do great things.

There's thirty other teams in the NFL that wish they
were in the position that the Eagles are in. There
four and now, I mean there's only two teams that
are and it's the Buffalo Bills in the Philadelphia Eagles.
I would like to take a moment to understand and
look at here a positive about this team so far.
Sophomore slump does not apply to Queen Yon Mitchell or
Cooper de Jeen. You watch these boys play week in
and week out. It's unbelievable. And I'm telling you this

in their fourth game, they're the uh with the youngest

defense in the entire league, and they're the best defensive
the entire league.

When you've got a defense like that, you feel secure.
It gives the offense in time to figure things out.

Second, I think one of the things that you can
look at is just what you're seeing on special teams.
Just something to just be outside of the box here,
you know, just because we've already talked about defense and
what's going on with the record, but just saying, all right,
what you're seeing on special teams, Big Jordan Davis with
the block plump, you got Sydney with the touchdown yesterday.
I think Michael Clay has really got his guys from
someone that was looked at it as a coach at

some point, was on the hot seat a little bit.

He's got these guys playing, and the special teams is
being a special part of what's going on. Jake Elliott
is back to being focused, banging out fifty yards plus
field goals. I think that special teams is really big,
a big possible.

and right, we're putting them in negative field position on
the other side.

Exactly put me his life easier when you get some
production on special teams. You're blocking punts, were turning that

the best athlete on the team, the players saying he's

Till Cooper Degen was drafted. Okay, Cooper Degen is the chosen.

Who still beat Cooper Degene the first of Anyway, my
point is that we've got an athlete like that. We
overthink of it, but he's gonna start hitting these kicks
and pinning these guys back, get you know, getting.

So uh, bringing up the special teams is a great
point because they made game changing plays the last two weeks.

You can't rely on that every week, but hey, I'll

Well, I was just gonna go with Nick Sirianni. But
I'm gonna get piggyback off of what Williams said. I
just think it's about the culture and hand in the air.

They all looked like goofuses at their opening press conferences,
and they won titles.

the end of the day, the guy's a winner and
he has proven me.

So I want to ask your thoughts as far as culture,
is it a real thing? Can you sense good culture?
Is it just based off of your win loss?

I think so? You know, Sirianni has created that energy.

Peterson came in and brought that tamily back to being
back at the Eagles where everybody felt like they were
well come back into the facility and then it was
just a good energy which he had amongst the players
in ownership as well. Now, I think what Sirianni did
was that he just came in. It just gave me
that energy as well. He gets the guys, he supports.
Everybody gets it, wear their shirts and does all the

little stuff. Then everybody kind of rolls their eye, but
the players feed into it and they'll go out there
and give them everything they have.

to the numbers.

Brown that has fourteen catches in four games. That ain't right, boys,
that ain't right. He's too damn good to have fourteen catches.
That's a game for Puka. So where are we at

Well, I think that when you look at what's going on,
you're seeing a totally different offense than what you saw
last year. Is just in formations. You're starting to see
a lot more thirteen personnel. We have a fullback. I mean,
you know, what kind of offense do you defense are
you gonna get? When you're lining up like that, they're
gonna stack the box. Everybody thinks that we're just gonna
come in and run through an eight nine man box.

That's not happening. You know, you're putting the offense in
a situation where we're packing everybody in there and you're
trying to run on an eight nine box instead of
throwing it. I went back and looked at some of
the formations that we were running last year, and we
were running a little bit more twelve, but we were
throwing out of that as well. Now we're trying to
run it to it like as if you can just
run through everybody that's.

Speaker 10 (16:03):
Stack in the box. It's not going to happen.

Speaker 9 (16:05):
Just dis what's frustrating too, is we know that this
team can be a steam roll and they're being so
reactive to what the they're taking what the defense gives
to them. I would like them to dictate them to
attack in the running game of the passing game.

It's just, well, this is open, so that's what we'll do.

Speaker 9 (16:22):
You're the better team every how much you spent on
on this offense. Just like I said, the defense is
the lowest cost defense.

I mean, you got stars all over they're all Hall
of Fame players all over the place. You don't take
what the defense gives you with When you have a
team like this, you go and attack it and take
what's yours. And it's just they're so afraid of turnovers.
Turnovers are bad. We all get it, right, Turnovers are bad. Yep,
But come on, man, go after these guys.

About this defense.

Yeah, Denver defense, it's a good defense if we tell
them what's going on.

Yeah, you can do that if you have more check

think that you can do that with Jaylor Hurts because
he's smart to know to read what's there and take
advantage of it and put them in the right position.

I know you said new offensive coordinator, and that's that's
got to be at the top of the list. But
the thing I would say is Jalen Hurts is used
to that new play caller every single year since going
back to high school. For that man, there is no
consistency when it comes to play callers for him, year in,
year out, but there is truth behind it.

At some point, there's gotta be a stall. There's got
to be a hiccup. Win six new ocs in six sees.
I get it, and maybe we feel like, hey, this
guy was already in house. This shouldn't something should change.

And you know what, Let's say that the offense doesn't
come out firing again this week, because you don't want
to hear it until the end.

they could still win just by fear alone. And I
think that is what you earned when you beat the
ever loving crap out of the Chiefs during the Super

the eye test, especially the last two weeks. They played
like crapping the first half against the Rams, and then
they looked like wolf beaters in the second half. Last week,
they played really good in the first half against the Bucks,
and they played like in the second half.

This team just needs to find consistency. I don't need
a tweet from AJ Brown, a fight with set Joiner.
I don't need the fond day Smith coming out and
saying these things in the media. I don't need any
of that.

Find consistently, get the ball into the hands of your
playmakers and everything will be just fine.
