run them out a little bit early. Then Clinton Kershaw
comes in and, you know, explode for all these runs
that we've been waiting for and for them will come.

biggest concerns I had when we drafted Landon Dickerson in
the second round out of Alabama was the fact that
Landon Dickerson in four years of college while being one
of if not the best left guard in football.

He never finished the season. What do you think?

Yeah, I think the wear and tear of last season
is definitely showing, and it's surprising that it's showing this early.
But it's an offensive line that probably had to work
a lot last season that they ran the ball a ton,
and so yeah, I'm sure want to get back to
the running game, but right now the offensive line isn't
blocking the same way. Like that's that's maybe the one
thing that throws everything off, because bad pass blocking throws

off timing. The communication doesn't seem all that great, and
I think it's just timing and rhythm, and the offensive
line is what creates that or at least helps it.
If the offensive line doesn't play well, all the timing
is thrown off. So I think it's a much bigger
deal than we're making it out to be. That there
are a lot of injuries. Jordan Mailatta has already alluded to, like, hey,
we're already worn down a little bit here that that
is directly having an effect on the entire offense.

Yeah, and last year, we can run clock, we can
we can eat clock by running the ball, and we
can't do that this year.

You said last last week was a perfect example. They
would have they would have they would have basically had
the ball the entire fourth quarter and run the ball

down by the end. And finally the short stuff and
and a lot of the easy stuff was just working
for Bonnicks, and tackling was getting weaker. So I don't
know if I put anything on pass rushing. I think
it was okay, and I think it disrupted Bonnicks quite
a bit. I think most of the problems just fied
with They were on the field way too much. I mean,
the time in possession was thirty four minutes for Denver

and twenty five for the Eagles, and I think a
lot of the fourth quarter was Denver.

more than just him, because even the Brian Johnson year,

they were still talented and executing and playing well. So
they still put up some points at times, and you
can kind of just tell the offense was at a
sync because the play calling was at a sync. I
think it's a lot more than that the offensive line
is not playing well. I don't think Jalen hurtsa has
been all that great. Why him and the wide receivers
at least are not communicating all that well. There's just

there's so many more things that I can't put it

Billy to you, why why is he not taking over
these reigns or at least it's like and Andy Reid.
For fourteen years, ye had ocs, but Andy Reid was calling.

But that's why you can't just point the thing there,
you know, like like like the surrounding. He's the head coach,

you know, they know what they're gonna run. But there's
little highlights of great plays though, like the know, the
fake Tush in Tampa that was.

Yeah, so you know it's there. The ability is there,
the talent is there.

Hold on and Bill, because you brought this up, I

But this is a great point.

Uh you uh created a pushbush. We've talked about this
numerous times, and how awesome it is that the entire
league had to vote on whether or not that.

Play could continue.

So the rest of the league that said no, you
can kiss my ass, but ready, all they did for
two years was that play. It lined up as that
play and there was nothing. There was no audible there
was no never faked it. They never faked it. And

now they just showed.

The entire league.

Yo, guess what you don't You can't stop that play
to begin with, and now you don't even have a
clue whether or not.

so that goes back to they have the ability, right,
they have the play call ability to do it.

Uh, I mean, Johnson has been a little banged up.
Landon Dickerson is out tonight. I have no problem with
Fred Johnson, I have no problem with Tyler Steen. But
do you think that maybe Lane Johnson is starting to

show a little bit of age. And one of the
biggest concerns I had when we drafted Landon Dickerson in
the second round out of Alabama was the fact that
Landon Dickerson in four years of college while being one
of if not the best left guard in football.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
He never finished the season. What do you think?
Speaker 5 (33:46):
Yeah, I think the wear and tear of last season
is definitely showing, and it's surprising that it's showing this early.
But it's an offensive line that probably had to work
a lot last season that they ran the ball a ton,
and so yeah, I'm sure want to get back to
the running game, but right now the offensive line isn't
blocking the same way. Like that's that's maybe the one
thing that throws everything off, because bad pass blocking throws
(34:08):
off timing. The communication doesn't seem all that great, and
I think it's just timing and rhythm, and the offensive
line is what creates that or at least helps it.
If the offensive line doesn't play well, all the timing
is thrown off. So I think it's a much bigger
deal than we're making it out to be. That there
are a lot of injuries. Jordan Mailatta has already alluded to, like, hey,
we're already worn down a little bit here that that
is directly having an effect on the entire offense.
Speaker 7 (34:31):
Yeah, and last year, we can run clock, we can
we can eat clock by running the ball, and we
can't do that this year.
Speaker 5 (34:37):
You said last last week was a perfect example. They
would have they would have they would have basically had
the ball the entire fourth quarter and run the ball
last year and they couldn't this year.

week past rush didn't seem to be too big of
a problem, so I was encouraged by that. Overall, defensively
last week they played well. It's just when you go
that many times three and out, and especially late in
the game in the fourth quarter, and you're not moving
the ball at all, like that, defense is just worn

down by the end. And finally the short stuff and
and a lot of the easy stuff was just working
for Bonnicks, and tackling was getting weaker. So I don't
know if I put anything on pass rushing. I think
it was okay, and I think it disrupted Bonnicks quite
a bit. I think most of the problems just fied
with They were on the field way too much. I mean,
the time in possession was thirty four minutes for Denver

and twenty five for the Eagles, and I think a
lot of the fourth quarter was Denver.
