it's a little.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
It's a little getting up in sixth thres. Yeah over here, brother,
hear that. You know. Let unhappy sir, go ahead.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
What do you want to say about last Thursday's game.
Let's let's let's let it rip.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Well, let's start with the fact that when we were
at the hotel bar you actually they had the nerve
to have the replay of it on it com mand
that it got shut off. I mean they start there
with that, nons, There's no way I wanted to watch
that crap. I've been trying to watch the All twenty
two because it gives you some different film views. I
refuse to watch it because there was absolutely nothing worth watching.
On a replay of that game, it just made me

(05:33):
want to vomit all the way across the board. We're
gonna get we get dominated by two rookies, Are you serious?
You know, the defense that have been holding us kind
of together even though the offense had been so horrible,
absolutely folded up. Uh, you know, Carter not on the field,
you could totally tell the difference. Love what Jordan Davis

(05:53):
has been doing early in the year, but without Carter
on the field, that defense looks entirely.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Remember Jalen Carter wasn't on the on the field in
the first game.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
I get it, but we got exposed bad right between
the teeth with that scatter bow well I call him splatterboob,
but you know whatever, just these rookies, dude, like it
was embarrassing.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
It's the Giants, for crying out loud. How do you
go get smoked by the Giants? Yes, I mean come on,
and you.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Know the Giants grabbed Russell Wilson in the offseason, and
I immediately go to and.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
Oh two and oh well, don't forget Jamis is gonna
be very very happy and thankful to play in all
this snow right right right, But it's a Giants team
that had you know, no elite neighbors is done right.
Their number two receiver was also out, and yet this
kid is.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Still throwing the ball all over here?

Speaker 5 (06:47):
Where are that CB two spot that I know everyone
talked about going into the year is becoming more and
more of an issue every week, and.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
That was disgusting on Thursday night.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
You have to assume and I'm I'm still positive. I
am because you know, we just came off the most
ultimate ass whooping of all time in a Super Bowl
and the defense is probably learning each other again a
little bit more.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
And you got this defense, youngest.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Defense in the league, and you gotta give you gotta give.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
A little bit of leeweight.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
But man, just for God's sake, why do you have
Zach Bond spying your your guy?

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Last week? Go ahead?

Speaker 6 (07:33):
Watching the Giants game, it was the epitome of watching
the Eagles for my entire life. And how you go
down two scores in the Giants And at that point
when you look at the team and how it was playing,
I knew we're gonna lose this in the first quarter.
He already knew, but then a classic Eagles fashion, what
they do is they fight back to make.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
It even even take the lead. Does it give you
a little bit.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
Of hope and then boom and then rips it all away? Right,
So it's just another game where it's like, you know,
every Sunday or game day feels like an afternoon an
evening full of cardiac arrest.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
I mean, that's just all it is every single week.
It doesn't have the beat us way. That's the most
frustrating thing. It doesn't have to beat us way.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
No, it doesn't.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
We've had seasons with Hurts, with Brown, with Smith, with God,
with Bond where we blow guys out of the water.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
I was wondering where you were going with that for
a second.

Speaker 6 (08:28):
So we've had we've had guys in the loss where
we just smoked guys before. But for some reason, Kevi
betool the only season one sided play sheet he threw it.
There was one play he threw it to Saquon like
third and three from like their own twenty and they
would just run out of the mountains.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
I'm like, what is going on? I'll tell you something else.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Even that touchdown to godter On that that trick play
thing where he kind of later over the Giants were
ready for it. I don't know if anybody else watched
that play the Giants were ready for.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
The week before.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Chansen weigh in on on predicted bill right now because
I'm gonna let everybody.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Talk more than me today, which is usually not the case.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
But what I am seeing right now is just bad
memories from two years ago where the offense is so
freaking vanilla that nobody wants to. Nobody wants to, nobody
seems to want to play Jansen.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Yeah, it kind of feels that way.

Speaker 7 (09:26):
I think the predictability just comes from how they run
things under center and then shotgun, and they're primarily running shotgun,
but then when they go in under center, it's like
immediately a run play. So it's just like all these
little details that I think teams pick up on obviously,
So yeah, it's predictable. It's not being executed well, too,
so I think that is on the players whoever you

(09:47):
want to put that on offensive line not doing well
certainly help does not help with execution. So yeah, I
just think it's a bunch of factors. But yeah, predictability
is a big one. I think right now, and it
does feel vanilla, so you.

Speaker 8 (09:59):
Definitely hit on a part of that chance. But I
think we got to take a step back. It's it
isn't even specifics. The team is unprepared to play and
that is a coaching issue. We're going back to the
most basic things of tackling. No one can make a tackle,
so if you make half the time.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
I got it in the first part of the season,
I remember uh Coop making an excellent open field tackle
and the announcers go and this is the Eagles team.
They tackle well, and then all of a sudden they
for they had to tackle.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Yeah, that's kind of a big concern, right.

Speaker 7 (10:31):
They've been such a short tackling team since last year
and then all of a sudden it's just completely gone away.

Speaker 8 (10:39):
So my point is it's the details, and that starts
at the top. So I don't know what's going on
over at Novacare. The game plans are not good, and
the details what Nick says, you know, the fundamentals playing
clean football, they do zero of that. So that's the
first thing we got to fix before we do anything else.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
This second half of every game is is a full
on five alarm disaster.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Yeah, okay, we're averaging dumpster fied.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
We're averaging thirteen to thirteen and a half minutes of
time of possession in the second half, and it's worse
than that over the last couple of weeks. We're averaging
sixty and a half yards less per second half versus
first half throughout the course of this season, and it's
worse over the last couple of weeks.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
It's getting worse. Do it.

Speaker 6 (11:24):
I'm not sure if any guys like heard what Lane
Johnson said, like the either this past week or or
a couple of days ago, but he said that compared
to last year, they're running so many RPOs last year. Yes,
Now everything has been so simplified or so vanillafied.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
And it's the only thing that's changed is if it's
the coordinator, thank you. The only thing it's been changed.

Speaker 8 (11:45):
Well, but behold on, I mean, I think part of
that too is guys are injured. So from a coasting standpoint,
Dickerson should have sat his self down.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
Two weeks ago. Yes, and you keep playing through that.

Speaker 8 (11:57):
He keeps getting injured and I'm not sure if other
guys aren't hurt as well.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Well, we know Lane has been banged up too, And
I mean, I don't need to.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Do we have to do we have to continue or
do we have to do we have.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
To accept that right now we're backed up on both
sides of the ball.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
But but this team, Howie builds from trenches.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
Yes, all right, we all know this.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
And Jansen weighing in here here, your backups on the
line should be formidable, should be enough at least to
continue to bust holes for the best running back give
the league.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
Jansen, Yeah, I guess that's maybe been a luxury the
Eagles have had in the past, and and maybe they
still do because they've dealt with some injuries and still
guys have played well enough.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
But that just doesn't happen in the NFL.

Speaker 7 (12:46):
Like if you if you have banged up offensive lineman
and Lana Dickerson, you guys are right, like should not
have played from the start.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
His knee injury.

Speaker 7 (12:53):
Definitely need more recovery time or at least just to
give him a couple of weeks or a few weeks
just to really get himself back to gain shape.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
He just hasn't been right. So yeah, it's just.

Speaker 7 (13:03):
An offensive line that's going through health problems that hasn't before,
and they don't and this is the first year in
maybe a few years that they don't have the luxury
of being able to deal with that and they just
aren't right now.

Speaker 6 (13:15):
That injury points so good though, because the entire under
Howie Roseman, our success has come from being a second
and third string team. Look back at the twenty seventeen team.
Jason Peters goes down and who replaces him?

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Big V.

Speaker 6 (13:31):
Big V steps in and he takes us all the
way we have my lot. My line has not started
as a starter. He started, he was a six seventh
round pick. He gets developed, and he takes.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Over because they get hurt two years in a row
because they were developing.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
Uh huh yeah. But let me let me ask you
guys this. Does it feel like.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
They're trying to limp to the bye week and let's
get and try to get healthy there, Like they're trying
to just force it. Let's get what we can get
done now and then the bye week will take It
almost feels that they're forcing it.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
But but again that's a bad place.

Speaker 8 (14:04):
One in September October, No, they're one January. You've guys
been getting right you gotta be right in November.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
A re saving for a reason.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
No, I think I just don't think there's any creativity
to this offense at all.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Like, okay, with all that being said, all right, how
many how much longer does Petullo have if this continues?

Speaker 5 (14:26):
Well, they're in there in lies the problems. So Patulo
has been under Nick the entire time. Nick has been
our head coach, which is why when they promoted Petulo
I'm like, oh, this is Brian Johnson all over again.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
And I thought you learned. I thought you and I
get it.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
You know, you get Pilford, You're You're You're OC and
your DC are Pilford from you immediately when you make
it to a super Bowl. There's no reason Jonathan Gannet
should be coaching an NFL for we have a luxury
with Vic Fangio, who does not want does and that
you know what he you know he who he is. Sorry, no,
no one will ever be. But it's just close to

(14:59):
Jim Johnson as.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
We have ever had.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
It's Jim Johnson, only with his own defense. That's what
he's perfectly happy with. What so for two of them,
I mean, how much West Conference is the guy's word salad.
It's like listening to Kamala Harris.

Speaker 9 (15:20):
You must not listen to the other guy.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
He's no better.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
Brother.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Hey, it's a whole bunch of world on it. You're
talking about our king, right. Hello.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
If everybody saw the two to two person team protests yesterday,
oh man, uh, please keep going.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
Cap you were saying something. Oh, I don't know what
I was saying.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
You know what I you know what I will say.
I will commend you on your fashion sense, you and
your merse.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
Oh yeah, you got all my got.

Speaker 8 (15:54):
All my important things.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
Jams here matching the team right, white jersey, black pants.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
I thought he's really good at that.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
I'm really good never washing one jersey and wearing it
every time.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
Well, and I am impressed at the number of white
jerseys that he owns. That come on, don't go there already.

Speaker 5 (16:11):
This is if I put that thing on and just
sat here for three hours and nobody around me, I
still find a way to get it all slopped up.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
There'd be no question about it. I can't worry. Wow.

Speaker 8 (16:23):
But but but but to your point, it's criminal what
Howie and what they've done in getting us offensive coordinators
after this. You can't fire them because you admit the mistake.
But the problem is you've got to ride it out
and I don't know how you get better.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
Okay, so that it shouldn't.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
Then then just make Kevin a figurehead and Nick start calling.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
I think that might be what's already that you were
a professional show the next three to talk. At the
same time, you're getting a line slap some guy right now.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
I forget what exactly year it was, but Nick had
Nick started the year off play calling. He realized that
he sucked at it, and he gave it away to
the offensive coordator and.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
We ran off like the way that was twenty twenty
one with Stike It yeah, right, and then we would
go berserk in twenty twenty.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
Two with just SNM.

Speaker 5 (17:17):
Sorry, but so then Stiking leaves and then we ended
up with Johnson in twenty three. It's a disaster and
lo and behold, here's Nick. Here's Nick saying, well, Brian
Johnson's developing the game plan, but I'm calling the plays.
I'm not so sure that same thing isn't happening right now,
because it looks very much early twenty twenty one and.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
All off twenty twenty three vanilla no creativity.

Speaker 5 (17:39):
I don't see his scheme over scheming, guys open the
run game is a disaster.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Right now. It's nightmare of fuel right now.

Speaker 7 (17:49):
By the way, that Shane Stikeen guy just turned Daniel
Jones into Peyton Manning.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
The hell would Blues Clues? Dude, Like, I'm doub with that.
I want to hear about good point, fun show so far,
But you're not wrong Janson. I mean they're five? Were
they five and one? Oh? Yes? Yeah? Stop with this guy.

Speaker 5 (18:09):
I mean, how bad is Brian Brian Dabele needs this kid,
Jackson Dart to be a superstar or it's his job.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
Look put on. Dable's been on the hot seat, dude.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
Since since they say since they since motivational speaking became
part of his daily Yeah.

Speaker 7 (18:28):
I'll also give credit Kellen Morris turning Spencer Rattler into
like a starting caliber quarterback in the NFL too. You know,
they've had two offensive coordinators that have gotten them to
places and when they haven't, it feels like, I hate
to say, it feels like the Nick Sirianni show. This
is just like what his offense he thinks should look like.
And the guys that he has appointed to run it

(18:49):
and it's just not going well.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
And we're gonna talk more about that and we come
back from our first our first break. Everybody, October twenty third,
join us for Cheerleaders Halloween Party. Will Cheerleaders biggest parties
of the years. One hour open bar from seven pm
to eight pm, and of course the Sexy Entertainer Costume Contest.
Guest judges will be Stephanie Morgan and Sam Ross from

(19:16):

when we come back, my father wants to weigh in.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
Uh oh, yep this and you know I my dad
knows this stuff.

Speaker 3 (19:31):

about that. Everybody, Green Leads To Radio is broadcast on

Speaker 1 (19:51):

It's the gambler.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Let him hear it me.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
That was beautiful.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
Yeah, it took a little while, but the room finally
has their pulse back.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
Welcome everybody.

Speaker 3 (20:18):

to six people in your household. It is an excellent product.
It's an excellent offer. It serious consideration should be taken.
Cousin Christopher, by the way, DJ in here, what's up baby? There?

Speaker 4 (20:56):
He is everybody.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Nothing brings the team together like hot, giggingy, crispy pizza
from the new Frigidator Pizza oven, the only range that
hit seven hundred and fifty degrees for restaurant quality pies
in just two minutes. Start cooking fresh pizzas today and
get yours at Gerhard's Appliances shop with the home team

(21:19):
shot Gearharts all right. Found out that mister Mason Paul
over here is a big Wentz fan. My father talked
about it over text message. He Wentz go ahead, Mason
you're up, fire away, kid.

Speaker 6 (21:34):
I just think that a lot of people forget how
good Wentz was after the Super Bowl eight twenty nineteen,
becomes the first quarterback ever and since the throw for
four thousand yards ever having a receiver with five hundred.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
Or more, that's just the only throw it to the
tight end.

Speaker 6 (21:48):
He drags that team no without having a single receiver
over five hundred yards, So there's no like, there's no
I guess bell Coowe receiver there who's soaking up all
this stuf. He drags that team to the playoffs and
gets knocked out by Clowney with a dirty hit. So
from there, everything outside of that is really hard to defend, admit,

(22:11):
and they decline from that.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Is there's a lot of factors to it.

Speaker 6 (22:14):
I mean, we rush them back from an injury, which
is when how he got distressed fashion his back the
next year, and then he comes back the next year
with that season I aftermentioned, I think that Wentz is
like every other quarterback really of product of the offense
that he's in.

Speaker 4 (22:30):
Uh, he gets earned twenty seventeen.

Speaker 6 (22:31):
Pearson has to simplify the offense and Nick Foles then
we get all the way to the Super Bowl. I
think that's really it's necessary. You have to do it
for those types of things. But some I think like
it's similar to Baker Mayfield. How you know, he defends
the offense that he's in and he promises.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
With the Mayfield Baker Mayfield right now would be the
MVP of the lead.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
Oh he is.

Speaker 5 (22:53):
There is not a comparison of Wentz the Baker Mayfield. Well,
let's be honest here. You know, the Minnesota Vikings are
loaded on the offensive side of the ball. Sam Darnold
looked like a world beater as the quarterback of that team. Now,
you still got to go out there and do your job.
I'm not trying to say that you or I could
go do it, but if you have a.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
Shred to know what you're talking about, I could. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
Well, we all know you're a legend in your own mind.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
Every morning I wake up, Giggoty and we're back chance.
And you want to weigh in on any of this.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Because I agree with everything that you said, But I
don't think quarterbacks are like kickers. When a kicker loses
its edge, his edge, he can regain it at another team.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
And Wentz has not shown that propensity.

Speaker 5 (23:50):
He just doesn't have to do a whole hell of
a lot with Minnesota yet, Justin Jefferson, who's the best
wide Addison is an excellent number two, Hawkinson is an
excellent pass catching tight end. Aaron Jones coming out of
the backfield, who is not you know, I mean, and
I know they've had some injury problems, but good lord, dude,
they are loaded on the offensive side of the ball.

Speaker 8 (24:09):
Look, someone get me Carson Wentz's PR guy.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
I will tell.

Speaker 8 (24:15):
You no one has done war with thirteen games. Ever,
this guy had a phenomenal thirteen games. Yep, and here
seven years later, people are still talking about this dude.
He got canned in here because he wanted to play
hero ball.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
He's taken sacks, he's.

Speaker 8 (24:34):
Running outside the offense, and if you ask me, he's
probably a grade A jackass, I would agree with him.

Speaker 5 (24:39):
So I've heard that about him in the locker room.
He's just got a locker room guy.

Speaker 8 (24:45):
Now he has two additional chances to start in India
and DC. Then he goes to the other teams he's
go to and falls.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
Into his lap.

Speaker 8 (24:54):
The ability to start on a team that's very very good. Yes,
So don't sing. Yeah, I don't praises no cap. I'm
with you, dude, I don't want to hear.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
Mason wants the weigh in again. Here, I can see that.
I can see the constant, right.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
Okay, So I'm not saying he's a carbon copy at
Baker Mayfield. When you look at Baker Mayfield, he's hot,
he's blazing hot, and he's freezing cold, wholly dependent on
the offensive cordon and the coach that he has. There
is a massive he starts under was like the first
coach Under Mayfield that he played within his rookie season
at O Hugh Jackson. Huge, asonets fired, Freddie Kitchen kind

(25:35):
of takes over.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
To play calling.

Speaker 6 (25:36):
Baker Mayfield, completely transforms Baker Mayfield and hops with a
bunch of different teams. Carolina, he goes to Los Angeles.
Now he endsens up in the Tampa Bay, Tama Bay.
He has all the weapons in the world. You know,
Tom Brady hadn't had the same weapons, and so now
he's doing well again.

Speaker 5 (25:51):
Hold on, his weapons have been hurt the last couple
of weeks. Right, he hasn't had Mike Evans for a
couple of weeks. Sure, but is that go. This is
the guy coming back from an injury and a rookie
wide receiver. He's been throwing a lot to third and
fourth string guys. Baker Mayfield is worlds better.

Speaker 4 (26:08):
I'm not saying are we are? We did this?

Speaker 3 (26:10):
Did this show turn into a debate? Baker a type
of player? And this is what happens when you two
talk over each other. Jansen Heaven, what do you feel
about this? Because these two claps just.

Speaker 7 (26:27):
Got music, So so I will say I was start
by saying a good thing about Carson Wentz. There are
highlight reel plays that with the arm strength and especially
when he was athletically gifted before.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
The knee injury and all the other injuries that happened.

Speaker 7 (26:43):
Uh, the dude could make some wildly great UH plays
in the NFL. The problem is he has the football
iq of a tomato.

Speaker 4 (26:52):
He is.

Speaker 7 (26:53):
He is so dumb as a quarterback, and the bone
headed plays piled up more and more the less athletic
he got. And I think that's a really big problem
with him. But the good thing is Kevin O'Connell is
like football genius, and so he basically guides this puppet
to do things that aren't stupid on a football field.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
It just called him a meat sock. Did you watch
the end of the Pittsburgh game.

Speaker 9 (27:19):
Yes, yeah, I mean his attendencies were ready to come out.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
Yeah, I think you might have broke all right, somebody's
got to get this thing back on track here. Look, listen,
I'm not nobody's trying to bash.

Speaker 6 (27:50):
I want to clarify my position though, because I'm not
saying that cars Wentza is better than Baker Mayfield. What
I'm saying is I think that they're they're saying type
of player where if you get them in the right system,
and as with all you know most quarter those quarterbacks are,
you're basically.

Speaker 7 (28:02):
It's like the Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, you
know exactly get him in the right right.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
Environment and they can succeed.

Speaker 7 (28:08):
I just again, it's just sometimes the stuff between between
the years just doesn't work for Carson and and.

Speaker 8 (28:16):
It's it's kind of a critical tape to Quimpy's back
because this guy grace for coordinators only be as good
as this coordinator and other guys you don't give that
same grace.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
You gotta have the same uh measure.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
Apply to each guy, if they just take a look
at our own quarterback. Who's now what since his freshman
year of college has dealt with nine different play callers
and eight different coordinators.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Right, So he said that the crazy thing is hurts.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
It's insane.

Speaker 7 (28:44):
Hurts isn't, as I hate to say, not athletically, but
especially throwing the ball, like the arm isn't amazing and
all that stuff. But like the between the year stuff
is really good. Like he's always poised, he's very smart,
like all of that stuff's very hard.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
He's a good leader, he's got a good locker room
presence like you did. And I don't I don't understand
why this offense continues. Every time we get one of
these coordinators from hired within, they taylor the offense around,
trying to throw it around the yard.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
And that's not our best off.

Speaker 8 (29:17):
You know, you know what I think it is, Honestly,
I think and Shane challenged.

Speaker 4 (29:22):
Him, all right, that's what somebody.

Speaker 8 (29:25):
I don't think he respected those other teachers. And I'm
gonna do what I'm gonna do. But we're gonna get yeah, yeah,
we're trying to do a radio show.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
Here, guys, here we go all right, So Mason is
obviously a Carson Wentz banner, and you are talking Jansen,
you say he has the football I q of a tomato,
and I look over and Mason doesn't realize I am
looking at him taking photos of his face, so downright

(29:56):
pissed off thing. You are saying, oh, yeah, it is
going to be my Facebook profile photo for a long time.
He who was just aggrate. I look over it as
dad and checking.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
Out Dad's cracking up.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Look is.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
I started taking pictures and that was it.

Speaker 7 (30:18):
I'm sorry, I am so I am a recovering Carson
Wentz truther. Like I was a big time Wentz fan
when he was with the Eagles, and even though last
year when they won like three games and he got
bench for Hurts, I was all for him. But then
as soon as you kind of get like removed from
the situation and you see him in a different environment,
then you start to realize, like, oh man, the bad

(30:39):
stuff was just him.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
It wasn't.

Speaker 7 (30:41):
It wasn't Doug Peterson, which I think Doug Peterson was
a big problem, or the wide receivers, which was also
a big problem.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
It was just some of the stuff was just him.

Speaker 7 (30:49):
And it was decision making that ultimately I think made
him a backup quarterback.

Speaker 5 (30:54):
You could see it right away when he got betch
that the energy from the team changed when it Hurts
came on the field, like it was it was obvious
we were that was we were inte when he got
benched for for Hurts.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
That was that God green Bay, Yeah against green Bay.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
And you could just see the change in the way
the team was behaving. It just they were they were.
It looked like relief that Wentz was off the field.

Speaker 6 (31:20):
No, I'll second that, and what I'll admit that I
don't think Carson Wentz is remotely as coachable as other
quarterbacks successful quarterbacks have been.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
You ever tried to coach at Tomato. I have not
ting to coach a Tomato, but I'd imagine wouldn't go
very well. But the coach ability is still anger in
that voice and the.

Speaker 6 (31:37):
Natural when you look at the quarterback and you have
the intangible and you had the intangible. If the quarterback
doesn't have the the tangible things, they can more than
make up with the intangible things. I think that's a
you know, a prime example would be Hurts. Another example
would just not calling him Brady. But Brady was not
a very stellar athlete coming out of coming out of Michigan,

(31:59):
but he had He was probably the most single most
coachable player the game has ever seen. He played with
every single office imaginable and its succeeded under pretty much.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
All of them.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
But he's not He's not first ballot Hall of Fame.

Speaker 10 (32:13):
Right, He's in the Hall of Fame, of the Hall
of We're gonna be calling people tomatoes all day now,
that's gonna happen.

Speaker 5 (32:25):
There's a difference of Brady too, though, the ridiculously hard
work effict.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
All right, well, reeling back, all right, that was supposed
to be the segue into the conversation we want to
have because I have something very special lined up for
our final segment.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
Oh god, oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
This week we will four goo kajada. There will be
no kajada this week.

Speaker 7 (32:49):
No kajada on a game that Carson Wentz is starting.
Is why hold on a second.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
There is nothing I can say right now that tops
the funny face and tomato into Okay, we're good.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
We're good. All right.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
That was our kahata state or segment right there. But
let's get to this because ballots are now players are
up for that's the thing.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
Hall of Fame ballots and Mason, you can lead this
conversation off because originally this is this is why you're here.
We we we we want the gen Z version of
who should be first ballot and who shouldn't end ready. Actually, no,
I'm gonna say something real quick, and then you go, sure.
Adam Gilmore is an idiot.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
Yes, I'm half tomato. You are exception an idiot.

Speaker 3 (33:40):
Sometimes I think, oh, what happens if the NFL doesn't
vote in Jason Kelsey is first ballot because they want
to wait until trap As Kelsey is eligible so they
do it together. That might be one of the dumbest
freaking things ever. Hurry, they are going, okay, right now,

(34:02):
we're two years in right yep, So.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
Yeah, you'd be two years. Okay, Travis is done this year.
I believe he is done. You believe?

Speaker 3 (34:10):
Yeah, two years, you're gonna keep the best center that
ever played the game, win a Super Bowl, win, yes,
out of the Hall of.

Speaker 4 (34:21):
Fame to wait for his stupid ass brother. No quit me.
I don't think I don't think you heard me yesterday.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
I'm not saying I want it to happen, or the
possibility I'm saying I would not surprise me.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Were you looking for some kind of jump reaction there?
That was pretty impressive, Mason, go ahead, bro sage. No.

Speaker 6 (34:44):
So initially the conversation started with that, with the well,
somehow can Jason Kelcey somehow get pushed off and kind
of line up with Travis Kelsey's kind of trajectory. I
initially thought that there was on one only a one
year difference between the two. Then you told me that
there was two years. I said, well, might be a
bridge that might be too far to stretch there. And
then the debate kind of came down to Jason Peters

(35:06):
and Jason Kelsey. You know, if they somehow get on
the same kind of a group finalists, what kind of
happens there?

Speaker 4 (35:14):
And I think that's a.

Speaker 6 (35:15):
Very interesting conversation to have, and I think it's a
lot closer to race. And then a lot of people
want to think that it is that's taking anything away
from Jason Kelsey, who might just be the single most
talented and gifted center the game has probably ever seen.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
Undersized.

Speaker 6 (35:30):
I was just about to say, considering that he was
undersized but with the new rules that the Hall of
Fame runs under, where you have five finalists really at
the vote on and each person on the board who
of electors, gets only three votes, and it's only the
candidates who get eighty percent from you know, the votes cast,

(35:53):
and who actually get elected to the Hall of Fame.
And I think with those new rules and the fact
that it's shrinking so much, I think that that really kind.

Speaker 4 (36:01):
Of that makes a bit difficult. Yeah, don't hit the table, brother,
And I don't think you're right. It's difficult for whom, right, No,
I think it's difficult to kind of.

Speaker 6 (36:15):
I don't mean the question is does Jason Peters or
Jason Kelsey get him first? And I think there's a
lot closer. I think that Jason might edge Kelsey. It
is it hadn't over Peters, But I don't think it's
a short you know, a four gunn also two separate positions, right.

Speaker 8 (36:34):
But yeah, I think I think that would be criminal
if that.

Speaker 4 (36:37):
I agree it has to be Kelsey over Peters. Like,
I don't even know why this is a debate.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
It's not it's it's Jason Peters couldn't hold Jason Kelsey's crotch. Wow,
you different different positions, right, Jason Peters was a dominant
left tackle.

Speaker 4 (36:54):
For a very long time.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
I will not take any Jason Peters.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
Right.

Speaker 8 (36:58):
And I'm with you guys started the tight end.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
He's legitimately one of the best tackles.

Speaker 4 (37:06):
Yes, I agree he is.

Speaker 5 (37:07):
But to Quimbey's point, Jason Kelcey may very well be
the best center that ever stepped ever stepped on.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
No.

Speaker 5 (37:16):
I merely floated the idea that the that the NFL
could try to put on this pr thing with both
Kelsey brothers getting at the same time.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
You know how they love this crap, right.

Speaker 5 (37:26):
I don't think it's off the table that they would
do something, and I think it's ridiculous if it happens.

Speaker 4 (37:31):
I don't think it's off the table entirely.

Speaker 8 (37:33):
And it may make Kelsey wait for that is it's criminal.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
I agree, and we will finish that segment up when
we come back from our second break. In our final
segment has a lot health and fitness located in where

I promise the laughter will take care of it all.

Speaker 3 (41:12):
Okay, I'd rather be stranded in the Gobi desert and
groomed to death by meerkats. I'd rather be boiled alive
in Campbell's chunky soup and fed to a mob of
hungry football players.

Speaker 4 (41:26):
That was one of my favorite ones.

Speaker 7 (41:30):
Nobody makes chunky Campbell's soup like Donovan McNab's mother.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
I'll not forgive you, even if you spent the rest
of your days in India cleaning the pavements of Calcutta
with your tongue.

Speaker 4 (41:47):
I'd rather have my toenails.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
And fingernails pulled out by hot dogs, fried in a.

Speaker 4 (41:51):
Deep friar, and fed back to me.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
Oh god, Dad, how did you even come up with that?

Speaker 4 (41:57):
He didn't? This is like, this is this is some
sick I think. I think it's the writers from Criminal Minds.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
Okay, we should ban them from society.

Speaker 4 (42:08):
Well, they need to be locked in a room anyways.

Speaker 3 (42:10):
With wolves, I'd rather be wrapped in soggy cabbage leaves
and smashed to death by the blood end of a paperweight.

Speaker 4 (42:18):
I'd rather my mother dance naked in front of my
high school. There it is, that's that's the crown jewelry there.
I'd rather my mother dance naked in front of my
eye school.

Speaker 3 (42:30):
If you get any stupid, or you're gonna have to
wear a helmet or be a tomato tomato.

Speaker 4 (42:41):
Friend?

Speaker 3 (42:41):
Who do you think would play me? If Our Lives
were a movie? Me, Mike Myers and drag It just does.
I'd rather have my liver replaced by a large slab
of meat loaf.

Speaker 2 (42:59):
It would probably work better.

Speaker 4 (43:01):
Hold on, I'm better. I'd be better off right now
considering the whiskey for breakfast. Yeah, I can't imagine.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
All right, So I'm gonna continue to bring some of
these in. But everybody, Green Legion Radio John Jansen back
in Balakin would helping us today.

Speaker 4 (43:17):

And Mason Paul will soon be our next podcast under
the Green Legion umbrella. Because we we we dig you,
your your little you know, your little gen z nuts.

Speaker 4 (43:48):
It's all right. He brings the you. Sorry, we're gonna,
we're gonna, we're.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
Gonna have to talk to your dad about keeping you
out of the bubble.

Speaker 4 (43:56):
Kicking you out.

Speaker 3 (43:56):
You're not allowed to live in the basement anymore. But uh, actually, Mason,
let's start off with you. Predictions for today.

Speaker 6 (44:04):
Predictions for today? It really depends on what kind of
Eagles team we see or who decides to play today.
Is it the same second half team who played with
the Rams, who was storing back from a deficit and
one with Jordan Davis blocking two field goals or turning
one for a touchdown. Or is it the same Eagles
team who absolutely imploded against the Giants. It's really hard

(44:28):
to tell. I hope we see that second half Rams team.
I hope we don't see the Giants team. It's probably
gonna be somewhere in the middle. I'm hoping for maybe
a thirty one to try Eagles victory.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
And you know what, I'm bad.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
I'd rather just so everybody does be tortured by a
ball of lidt that refuses to be picked off my
jacket more out.

Speaker 4 (44:49):
Of your belly button. Yeah. So what do we know
about Carson Wentz.

Speaker 5 (44:53):
We know he likes to hold the ball too long
away for the big play, right, Like that's what he's
trying to do.

Speaker 4 (44:57):
He's always the hero ball guy.

Speaker 5 (44:58):
Has he learned. I don't know, we're gonna find out today.
I think the key for us is we have got
to get pressure from the edge on this idiot and
make him by home. The well that's the bearing lies
the problem that well listen, listen is.

Speaker 3 (45:14):
Yes, captain, will you please get.

Speaker 4 (45:18):
On the field. But is n Kobe Dean back today?
Did I say that? I think so?

Speaker 5 (45:23):
The Kobe Dean gets in the middle next to Bond
and they put you hot campbell at the end of
the edge, absolutely, and you get press and hopefully that
helps get some pressure because we're designed to get that
pressure from the edge to make this moron step up.

Speaker 3 (45:39):
Now, let's let's let's be realistic and truthful here. The
the Eagles got pressure, a lot of pressure.

Speaker 4 (45:47):
I'm talking about expressure.

Speaker 3 (45:49):
But I'm saying, you know, giants, QB was pretty mobile.
He got out of just about every situation. Cars we
will not now he will step up.

Speaker 5 (45:58):
Into that into the teeth of that the defense, which
is where we want him to go. And you know,
if we can get that expressure, which we haven't been
able to do, but if we can, it leads to success.
I'm not looking for a big time I don't know
thirty points, but I like it. I have twenty seven,
twenty seven, twenty twenty seven to twenty four.

Speaker 8 (46:17):
So I'd like to point out that I was closest
on the Tampa Bay.

Speaker 4 (46:23):
I don't know where you got that information.

Speaker 3 (46:25):
Hey, guess what you get a free trip next.

Speaker 4 (46:30):
All the times again, let me press sep By.

Speaker 8 (46:35):
I am a homer, So I'm I'm a ride with
the Super Bowl champs, and I think today they put
it together. It's it's, you know, no analysis, but the
fact is we're a better team than them. And football
is about being bigger, strong and faster than the next guy.

Speaker 4 (46:53):
So if they can play, you know, attention to detail,
just make.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
Some tackle, big guys push little guys around. That's it,
right to go, Kelly to the Green Legion radio brother, and.

Speaker 5 (47:04):
That was one thing that was right about brother. I
say it every week on the podcast too. If you know,
we're more talented, we should win the game.

Speaker 7 (47:10):
Chansen Vikings, Wow, yeah, damn, all right.

Speaker 3 (47:19):
I'm sorry I'm making a prediction because I usually don't.

Speaker 4 (47:23):

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
