By the way, I don't think it's set up, but
we forgot about this, especially during the season.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Kyle Slash Slash Slash not a Baker and the Gobblers

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Next to him, Super Sam Brady, still in love with him,

We're getting through it all right, all right?
Speaker 3 (03:45):
Sure sure, Chris Sack Sackmasters Sack attack Reggie.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Next to him DS.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
We're gonna do that every time, Okay, sitting right to
my left, everybody filled up Eagles Hall of Fame offense
and life fist Trey. You know, you know, you notice
none of us ever get any accolades. But when Trey
gets introduced, the whole place goes.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
With good reasons.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
Evils hall favor who you have a jacket and you
see all my patches on my jacket?
Speaker 3 (04:22):
Hold on, I saw my body of work. You listen,
I don't put these banners up. Sound like Joel embid
right now. I'm good seating off but I played in
every game and Trey actually putting banners in the stadium.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Trey actually put banners in the stadium. Low blow seck.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Yeah, no, you know, I just think it's great that
Jadavian Clowney was talking all that crap the last few
days and then he pulls his inner Joel embiid and
is inactivated yesterday.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
What do you have to say about that? Sound fair?
Can't we just make fun of Davis? Anybody knows cut
his mike?
Speaker 4 (04:57):
All right?
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Well? Four though they're back.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
First Chicago and Green Bay, you owe us one, all right? Ridiculous?
Speaker 2 (05:08):
All right? How do they keep getting away with it?
Speaker 3 (05:10):
But but let's talk about that real quick, just real quick.
The Lions are beatable. They're good, but they're beatable. They're beatable.
They're not you know, they're not this juggernaut. But the
thing is, they are beatable playing in this stadium. I
got no worries going to Detroit.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Is since when did Detroit.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Become a hotbed for for Like, look, you fear going
into Detroit. I fear more going into Detroit than I
do that stadium obviously you Jared rare Kevlar. But at
the end of the day, I mean, come on, dude,
like we're treating this.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
We're treating Ford.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Field like it's old Yankee Stadium. It's not about there's no.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Aura there, there's no field. That's not what it is.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
They blew the NFC Championship game last year. Listen, they
are a really good football team. Yes, there's a lot
of fear about them. But on the defensive side, Aiden
Hutchinson being out for the rest of the season, that
is a key factor.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
The fact that they're on their.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Fifth and sixth linebackers trying to tackle sa Quon Barkley.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
If we get to that game, I mean, come on, man.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
Like I'm tired of hearing the national media pundits sitting
there going, man, this is really.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Gonna be tough, get the hell out of here. No, no,
there's no fear. There's no fear.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
There's probably one of the were just gonna touch on this.
There's there's respect Jared Goff in that building in January.
I have no worries playing Jared Goff. And it's a
warm that's a big deal because they hold the they
hold the tiebreak.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
And Chicago Green Bay didn't didn't do anything.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Help us out, Houston. Thanks anyway, all right, so you're fired.
I I want to I want to talk about last
week's game, and uh, you know, we'll get to defining moments,
but I want to. I want to tap Tray's knowledge here,
(07:07):
give us your take on something that I've always been
told to be true.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
I could be wrong, definitely wrong. It's a good chance
that you are wrong. Shut up, diz.
Speaker 5 (07:23):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Since we haven't had a true, punishing running attack since
Douce Staley.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
All right, I believe it's kind of been forgotten.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
Trade while I'm still clamoring for the Birds to score
a touchdown in the first quarter, a predominant running offense
may not see this isn't the entire concept sin First
of all, Pro Football Focus has our offensive.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Line as number two in the league. But is it
a running attack designed to.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Be more effective in the second half than it is
in the first, because you guys have beaten the defensive
lineman's legs to a pup weighing on.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Because combination blocks you you're you're creating movement. And one
of the things that this offensive line is doing. Every
run play is designed to get the running back to
the safety, no matter what when you draw it up
on the grease board, every run play is designed to
get that running back to the safety. And what this
offensive line is doing when you're creating those combination blocks,
this offensive line is massive, and they are getting double
teams right between guard and center, and you're getting big
(08:26):
push up the middle. And I think Saquan has gotten
a lot better at reading the blocks and giving it
time because I mean, you know, when you go back
and you look at the line of scrimmage just four
yards down field, and Saquan is just riding the wave
and once you get him to the safety, he's gone.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
What talk about.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
When the offensive line is the unsung hero on a
running attack.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
You have a guy right now here's the guy.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Now here's a guy saw Barkley, And you know what,
I think we're all in agreement here, and so is Saquon.
Don't really give a damn about the Eric Dickerson rushing record.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
They want rings.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Every player is gonna trade off, uh, you know, their
own stats for a ring. But what is it like
for the offensive line that gets little to some credit
for creating the airways, the lines, the lanes for a
running back?
Speaker 4 (09:28):
They get all the credit because I mean, you know,
if they're not Therequon isn't doing what he's doing. I
think that you look in New York, so you get
an offensive line. I mean, they're getting the credit, you know,
I mean, but for I mean off as offensive line players.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
We really don't care about.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
You know, hey, we want everybody to know anytime the
offensive line name is called in a game is because
of what exactly.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
So we don't care, you know, We just go out
there and play the game.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
So I think, and you have a group of guys
that they understand, you know, there's you know, Jason Kelsey
has helped shine the light on the offensive line just
as a personality, but really everybody else doesn't really care
about that.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
Man.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
We just go out and play the game.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Plus not at the same time too. I mean Saquon
is doing his best. I know Lane's been paid, Jordan's
been paid, and same with Landon. I mean he's going
to get cam Jurgen's paid, and he's going to get
McKay peckton paid. So from what he's doing and the
fact that, like Saquon is not taking all the credit
for this, I mean his personality in him as a
human being.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
You saw when he broke the record, you know.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
With two hundred and fifty five yards in the ground
against the Rams, he was saying.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
We broke it.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
To his offensive line, those guys are gonna put themselves
out there even more for him. I think at the
record great, If not, it doesn't matter to Saquon, but
I think it's something to pay attention to over the
next four.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Or five weeks. One one more question over to Trey uh.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
With Saquon's career being largely wasted in that crap up
up in us in the swamp, do you see this
guy slowing down? I mean, we're talking about a guy
who is in year seven in his career and I'm
just like, this is a this is a position that
(11:11):
doesn't have longevity and this this guy seems like a
kid right now. This guy seems like second year, you know,
just just without question rejuvenated.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
You don't see that very often. I mean he's on
fire right right now, He's really on fire. I mean,
and like the offensive line is doing a really good
job where you could go into the game and you say,
all right, we got thirty three rushes compared to nineteen passes.
That's huge and what that does though, it's like even
a bigger testament to how the defense is playing when
you can sit up there and say, all right, you
know what, we don't have to worry about being in
(11:44):
a shootout and have to air it out. We can
sit up there and be a little bit more patient,
be physical, run the ball, and you and you can
live behind your offensive line like that. It can only
make you a great as a team.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Anybody else want to add anything now, I just can't
believe that you completely scared. I mean we're going all
the way back to deuce. I mean, for a while,
there was the Garrett Blunt. Legarrett Blunt. Oh, and then
there was one year Lagarrett Blunt.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
I'm going to forget about Jordan Howard. How much are
we talking about Jordan Howard?
Speaker 3 (12:10):
For three years we had this show and Quiby was like,
when are they going to resign Jordan Howard?
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Honestly, Howard get twenty carries a game in this game.
Speaker 6 (12:17):
By the way, Legarrett Blunt went to Oregon.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Penn State. Oh, by the way, Penn State.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Woo.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Sorry, thanks for that dime I made yesterday. I appreciate you,
guys minus three. Oregon was only by this three.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
Easy money, by the way, money real quick. See that
guy right there in the eighty Jersey, that's my father,
all right.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
So blame him. It's his fam it's your fault. We
have to deal with this. We're happy to see you, dad.
I love you. I appreciate you being here. First event.
Twenty two years, yeah, mister Quy, God bless you. Fifty
four years of that long and there we go.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
So let's get to the defense right now, because that's important.
Cooper to gen all right, getting a little more pressed
these days than the Q, which is hysterical because once
again Bobby Taylor syndrome. You know, I mean, he's adorable,
Bobby Taylor. Cue well, no Coopers right in her wheelhouse.
(13:25):
I like him, young can I can I say why.
I mean, it's it's been since Chasing Seahorns since we've
had a white c B.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
No, like I mean like about red, black and shit.
The exciting whites are taken over. That's a big thing.
But Seahorn played safety corner. Yeah, remember that interception.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Yeah, Tray was on the field, Kyle Kyle Brandt said
it best the next day, he said, twenty four And
the only numbers I care about that's the weight difference
between Cooper to Jan and Derek Henry Damn and I
mean Cooper what it is a very very rare moment
(14:10):
in time when not one but two rookies tramped in
first and second round immediately come up and immediately make
an impact. And by making an impact, they're Pro Bowl
players right now. They are Pro Bowl players right now.
(14:30):
Queenan Mitchell still hasn't given up a touchdown on what
four hundred and fifty defensive pass attempts.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Nothing.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Cooper to Jeen, guy's got a nose for that pigskin.
And no fear, I'm not a rookie. I'm gonna jack
you up weigh in. That's what he does. Your comment
right here, your comment in our notes here about we
don't hear that much about Queen now and Mitchell. Great,
that's exactly what I want, right, I want Queen zero.
(15:00):
Don't want to hear your Bobby Taylor syndrome. You never
heard Bobby Taylor's name because nobody would throw his way.
Cooper Dejen, Will you know until Quinnon catches one of
these interceptions, Cooper Dejen, make the yeah slam slam the
Hall of Fame running back on the ground. That's great,
get him all the highlights. And I want Quinnon just
say whatever side he's on, the left side, it's out
(15:22):
for this game. We don't have to worry about it.
I I don't even care about the interceptions. I mean,
the interceptions are great.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
I know he once won.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
He should have had about five of them by now,
but it just goes to show how little they're throwing
the ball.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
To his side of the field exactly.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
And like somebody posted over over the last week about
how he's draft picks since twenty twenty, his first one
was Jalen Rager, a complete fluff. The nine guys since
then are all contributors to this team. And that's not
including the first round pick that he traded away in
twenty twenty two to get aj Brown, by the way,
I mean, it's insane what Howie has done with these
(15:56):
first and second round picks the last five years, to.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
Really set the team up for now, to do something
this year.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Something special this year, and to do something special for
years to come with these kids, because it's it's it's incredible.
Jaalen Carter, Jalen Carter didn't come off the field last year.
You couldn't keep him.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
On the field.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
You could barely get him on the field the last
five six weeks. This year, he's like, I know you're
not taking me off. No, not taking me off. Like
all right, you want to put Neil Williams out here,
You're either gonna have put him on the edge. You're
got to put it in for Jordan Davis because this
is my team, this is my ball, my interior line.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
It's insane what these guys are doing right now. What's
a lot of fun.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
It's hard to see in the moment when you're watching
the game. You know Jalen Carter's disrupted and you see
Jalen Harder making getting penetration, getting he's like he's getting
he's getting held. If he's not getting double team or
triple team. He's getting held like shim and ye, yeah
and yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
There's the heck out and they're not like what Jaen
Collins doing.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
He's just a bully out there on the field, you know,
Like when you look at him, he's just he's always
bumping into somebody or you know, if he's not there
for making the play, he'll bump into the running back up,
buff into the well.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
A kicker like he did a couple of weeks ago.
He's like, Yo, I'm gonna bump helmets with you. You know,
I'm here.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
You had one time against Baltimore where the office on
line had a false start. They just you know, you
have a false start, you kind of take steps up
with your chests up, and you don't think anything about it.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Jaylen Carter stamping the guy in the chest just to
let him know.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
You know. I love the way if he's not affecting
the play, he's right around it and he's gonna let
his presence be known.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
And I think that's a great player to build around.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
I I want to go over a couple of things
here because we're gonna be getting to some other topics here.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Coming back after the break.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Uh So, now that Diaz is actually here with me
on a show, uh, let's talk about all the things
I've been right about recently.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Hell, oh my god, run on, excuse me, shut and
linebacker and up.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
I said last week when it was just super Sam
captain and myself at Jansen. Sorry, sorry that linebackers and
running backs to batter hold on. I also said that
no one trusts your process anymore. Suck it, trip Beck preach.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
I'm not two.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Letickets the other night, two dollar tickets the other night
for the Sixers game. By the way, he was two dollars,
two dollars, two dollars. I want two dollars. You just
your team just became better off dead. Is that a
basketball team just became better off dead? I won my
(18:36):
two dollars. I'm not the CAP's not here yet. But
I also said, Sam, you will vouch for this. Look
to Nolan Smith and maybe a little bit more of
Jalb's hunt to step up. What happened exactly that You're welcome.
Everybody else said. Everyone said that Derrick Henry would not
have more than eighty yards rushing. I was wrong, eighty
(18:57):
two wrong. Defensive stands out. This is a fun part.
We're going to get to it when we come back
from break. Because when you make the right decision, it
feels good, kind of like picking the Eagles to win
over the seventy six ers, or like picking the perfect
(19:19):
furniture or choosing a good night's sleep over an all
night TV series.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Bitch feels really good. To make the right insurance decision too.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
That's why State Farm Agent Dave Bavouzo is here to
help you select the right protection at the right price.
Dave will make sure you understand your state farm coverages
so you'll know what to expect if the unexpected happens.
Who State Farm Agent Dave Bavuso. It's easy to make
the right choice. Just call him when you want the
real deal, like a good neighbor. State Farm is there
(19:48):

one two individual previous will vary my customer Hall applets
up the State Farm underriding requirements. You guys, This is

whoa cousin. Brad was the was the good one and
Krimby was the evil one. And we got stuff with
that up. Diez thiscouse on coffee and donuts. That's gonna

Speaker 2 (21:17):
My train ride. You can take the subway for free.
Speaker 4 (21:20):

give you my little wheelchairs.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Yeah you can. You can get help across the street.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
All those yeah, all those movies you can get in.
Keep it up, every single one of you. You're all
quarter movie nights.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
He let me guess we're all fired. No, you're all
brought on for next season so I can fire you again.
Do you get like thirty percent off on the hum around.
Speaker 3 (21:47):
The good news for us is he's gonna forget all
of this this Sunday mattineg What are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (21:53):
What just happened? Some jello for dessert? Everybody freeze, not.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Too cold though, don't take too much of it away
from slashing his cane.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
You get all kissed, my ass. We all shifted for
a shawl. You have a nice little knitted shaw Turn

Stop pushing it towards the walls.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
We're good to go.
Speaker 3 (22:17):

Speaker 2 (22:31):

Speaker 3 (22:33):
Susan has been a mother to me for as many
years as I can remember.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
I love you, Susan.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
The Bechdel Clan, Yeah, I love that group.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
He apparently he who dies with the most kids wins?
Speaker 4 (22:55):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
Where that's my father again?
Speaker 6 (22:57):
Huh?
Speaker 2 (22:58):
How are you that time? But Chad still has a
tough grip. All right, how you doing?
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Uh? Where's my sister Wendy? And where's my sister Connie?

Speaker 2 (23:21):
I'm this is this is.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
Really cool and uh, I'd like to thank the Eagles
as well for taking care of my family of the
game today. Taking the seats, well, Diz doesn't have any seats,
But you guys, we're brought to you by Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club,
(23:44):
and we're I was asked to make sure that Trey
weighs in on something before we get any further in.
So you have BG going down, all right, and we
all know, you know, just fan favorite the guys guy
made the play that won us a Super Bowl. Essentially,
we could say that without question, and he is certainly
(24:07):
one of the reasons why we are ten and two
right now, and we all know what took place kind
of sucks. But about the next man up? Talk about
Nolan Smith, talk about Jlex Hunt. Where where do you
see this?
Speaker 5 (24:24):
You know?
Speaker 3 (24:25):
Is is this a situation where sometimes it takes somebody
going down like GG for this team to catapult itself
and believe in itself from every level?
Speaker 4 (24:40):
I think you know, you never want to see anybody
go down and you don't want to use that as
your spark. But I think that having Beg there definitely
helps with the energy, especially Nolan Smith, someone that you know,
BG understands how it was to where everybody was kind
of questioning if you were going to be the player
that you thought you would me. You know what I'm saying,
that was Yeah, even Jordan Davis, you know, where everybody's like, man,
(25:03):
who has a very good game last week, who everybody
was like, hey, man, you he might be a bust.
So having someone like that BG in the locker room helps,
you know, with someone that's had to earn the respect
of the fan base and and what he has become
as a player now. I think that when you look
at the way Nolah Smith is starting to play, when
you're a young pass rusher, a lot of times they
(25:25):
try to be too slick. You know, you try to
come with all the moves and you know, as a
pass rush you only got two seconds.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
To get there.
Speaker 4 (25:33):
And I think one of the things that Nolan is
starting to use is that long arm try to get
in there. And if you know that Jalen Carter is
going to get a double team. Then now that kind
of opens up the rushes that you can do. You
can kind of go up up the middle, you can
take the edge, or you can come with some type
of counter spin move or something.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
The guard that's gonna be there.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
Have you noticed how many times Jalen Carter gets double
teamed at this point?
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Well yeah, it's I mean, they're gonna slide the line
to them.
Speaker 4 (26:01):
But that helps you as a pass rush because when
you look at when you talk about slide protection, it's
all about which way the center goes. So if the
center is going right because Jalen Carter is over there,
then that means that the left tackle and left guard
they're blocking man.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
So now we can run games, we can send all
of our.
Speaker 4 (26:18):
Our stunts, whatever we want to do, whatever Blizz is,
because you know that the center is going to the
opposite side.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
Anybody went a weigh in? No good? All right? That
was great.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
I want to hear about Jalox Hunt tho, because Jaleox
Heil Jealous Hunt was a third round pick. He was
he was viewed at as a project this year, but
he has taken on some big shot of a physical
freak right and then but like you're coming from a
small college, now, he's gonna be depending on because I
think I think all of us can agree if we're
looking at the one thing that might keep this team
(26:53):
from getting to the super Bowl or even winning the
Super Bowl is the lack of experience that they have
on the outside edges for the pass rush. Josh Whitt's
been there. He played in the Super Bowl a couple
of years ago. We just touched on Nolan Smith, but
it's a rotational position. You're also going to set in there.
I think what you're gonna see, and you gotta remember
they're base three four at this point, which you know
(27:14):
doesn't really mean anything. But I think you're going to
see a bit of a Milton Williams Fletcher Cox.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
THEA or they're gonna put him on the edge, and
they should.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
He's been a hot mill Williams Green Legion Radios three times.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
He has a gold jacket at Green Legion Radio.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
I'm an Alex and Alex Milton Williams. Him stepping up
and a lot of it comes up. But we talked
about j Jalen Carter, and you know, it's it's hard
to make stats as a defensive tackle. You get Aaron
Donald like leading the sacks, but if he takes a
I want him to get double team, the triple teams
every down because it just opens it up for everybody.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
He still gets there. Jealous.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
Hi, Milton Williams playing playing on the edge from time
to time. What are your thoughts on that track?
Speaker 4 (28:00):
I think that's good, you know, because both of them
are extremely athletic, and tackles aren't used to dealing with
the bigger body guys.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
A lot of times it gives tackles problems when you.
Speaker 4 (28:08):
Got to deal with a bigger body that can come
with that bull rusher, that can work off of a
bull rush on you, because you're used to dealing with
the Nolan Smiths, the smaller, the swimper rushes, you know
what I'm saying, So when you got a bigger body guy, it.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Can make it harder for you. Putting me on the spot.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
Right here, what's the defensive tackle that moved out to
the outside that you played on the bike ds who's
one of those players that normally played inside that might
have switched outside. I know I'm putting you on the
spot right now, but just for contacts, I mean you were,
you know, yeah, Eagles Hall of Fame left tackle here,
you had problems sometimes, Who's someone.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
Like Seymour was tough, you know, but I mean that
was because it was a three four front. You know,
he's a Hall of Famer, Yeah, you know.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
So he was a He was a tough player to
have to deal with that because you're not used to
dealing with that size, you know, when you used to
dealing with the speed rushers. Now, the advantage is that
they're gonna line up a little tighter on you, which
makes it a little bit easier to handle it as
a tackle. But if they create that space and they
come with that heavy bull rush, it could be a problem.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
So before we get into this week in the NFL,
I do want to bring up Zach bad.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
And And here here's the fun part.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
All right, So two years ago he had kind of
the same situation you had, uh Kaizer White in on
a mercenary deal not making much uh and t J.
Edwards who you know, fifth year Adam Wisconsin undrafted. Everybody
knew Hollis and I had talked about it for years
that this guy was going to be a ballhawk Taxi
(29:45):
radio bout double time double time. But we're this is
an interesting situation because we know how and what how
he does when it comes to linebackers. He's looking for
those one year mercenary deals. But Zach bought all right
once again last week thirteen total tackles, half a sack
(30:07):
of tackle for a loss. If he continues to play
at this level and Howie doesn't re sign him, I
think it's a pr nightmare. I think what you're looking at, though,
is it's gonna come down to re signing Zach Bond
or extending to Kobe Dean.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
I don't think. I don't think it's gonna three. But
there's yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
But by the way, you're eligible for I do believe
missus Dean is inside right now. We want him sticking
around Keta, but there's only so much money that.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Can go on. I mean, I believe the key to
deed is inside. Are you don't want him going anywhere either.
She's hanging out with your sisters.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
I think what you might listen, all right, quimy, here
we go December eighth, twenty twenty four.
Speaker 2 (30:55):
We'll see next by next March. In the mic, I'm
my face.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
We've only been doing this for seven weeks.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
What you guys gotta do is turn up my Mike. No,
we can hear him. Fine him? Is this something I'm
willing have another beer? Quit me.
Speaker 3 (31:14):
I'm willing to put it on the line now that
the Eagles will not sign him because he's just gonna
get more money.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
Like like TJ got I. I think I think maybe
how he maybe Howie will will the thing we don't want.
It's not that they're not important.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
We're just not gonna put a whole lot of financial
resources behind them.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
But you don't have to sign to Kobe. I'm not
talking about Kobe. I'm talking about Zach Brown.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
No.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Right, but here we go. You don't have to re
sign to Kobe. You could wait. They have him locked
up for his five year deal, no third round pick,
so it's a four year.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
Him and Cam Jurgens are both eligible for contract ascensions
after this year. Samon Milton Williams. Milton Williams, is he's
gonna be a.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
P Let's hope the cap goes up by another ten.
There's no going to make it work.
Speaker 6 (32:01):
By the way, By the way, New Orleans has been
very good to us. Darren Sprolls, Malcolm Jenkins.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
And Zach Bond. Thank you. We like doing business with
the save and the tante. I'm sorry, hold on, was
it CJ GJ New Orleans as well?
Speaker 3 (32:19):
Yes, good call, good call. I'm sorry, I don't know
Richard about football.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
You did? You did call them c J d J
for the whole whatever season?
Speaker 4 (32:30):
Shoe c J.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
Johnson Gardner. Yeah, you guys forgive him. He's the cry
the way.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
Honorable mention once again to Kobe Deed killing it with
ted total tackles at where we thought buster alert, buster alert.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Jordan Davis thought he looked pretty damn good.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
You know what when you say that Bond had all
these tackles that you can instantly need to look at
the defensive line because they're taking up some of those blocks,
taking up some of those double teams so that the
linebacker's gonna play downhill and make those So I think
that when you see linebacker play like that, you have
to look at how the defensive front is playing.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
So we're going all the way to the the bottom
half of the hour, you guys, no breaks, We're gonna
go to around the league right now. Anybody want to
just raise your hand? When do you want to talk
about this. I'm gonna be selfish right now.
Speaker 4 (33:19):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
And although you know, playing Tampa three years in a
row sounds a little monotonous, I think it's better.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
Than playing any game in Atlanta.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
I agree with you from a Green Legion travel perspective. Uh,
clear clear Water Beach is awesome. Our friends down in Shepherd.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
Which we didn't have a Clearwater Beach trip this year.
That's right. We got to get back down there.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
But we haven't done real well in Tampa the last
you know what, six years. I think you may make
like we're speaking to a microphone. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
What are they like one in five in Tampa.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
By the by the way, we can also say the
same about Atlanta head. I think everybody's biggest nightmare was
wondering whether or not that Atlanta game would come back
to haunt us. And here we are, But that was
here one victory behind the Detroit Lions for.
Speaker 6 (34:22):
And looking back on hide Sein's twenty twenty But like
the free fall that Atlanta's in right now, you think
back on that Atlanta game.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Great hold on ready playing the Chargers and Kirk Cousins
throws four interceptions a.
Speaker 6 (34:34):
Man, I also pay three games for Kirk Cousins, Sorry, Sack,
I have three games, no touchdowns, six interceptions.
Speaker 3 (34:42):
But also at the same time, I mean, you look
at everyone who's sitting here saying Saquon Barkley's the MVP
of the of the National Football League this year, and
he's right now, he's number two in odds behind Josh Allen.
But he dropped that pass from Jalen Hurts at the
end of that game.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
That would have won That should have ever come there.
But hey, I'm just I'm putting that out there. I'm
not obviously, I'm not going down and say on about that.
But also, at the same time.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
We've won eight in a row, and there's only so
much you can do when the other team that is
a game ahead of you has won.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
Twelve in a row.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
I mean, it's it's crazy to think that you've won
all these games and you still might be the two seed. Well, listen,
if we go back to Tampa, Serie call Roger Goodell, Siri, Hey,
we call Roger Midell.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
If we're gonna play.
Speaker 3 (35:23):
Camping next year, can we not play them in September?
Can we do it at least November? Three years three, three.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Times in a row.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
Now we played in September Thursday Thursday. This Thursday, December twelve,
Cheerleaders is having their big December birthday bash.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
Come in and.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
Celebrate with the big Shoan Bian and Quimby. Who is
gonna be coming up Thursday for a birthday?
Speaker 2 (35:49):
Oh that was fun last year. Oh you're crashing at
Sam's the next four days. Whatever? Open Barbs seven to
nine pm.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
Special guest DJ Sir Foster and DJ Leverage. Uh, besides
that game, here we are you haven't Tampa eks out?
By the way, I turned that thing off with thirty
seconds left after Carolina. Yeah, and I'm like, all right,
(36:17):
wait two days later I realized, oh snap, two days
later I needed a break.
Speaker 2 (36:24):
Whatever.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
So now you have Grandpa needs to sleep s all right. Man,
that's a cute little hole you.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
Have on the top of your head. Do you watch
the eleven o'clock news?
Speaker 4 (36:38):
No? No, oh yeah, we.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
Already have an amber alert over here for the slash
at the table.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
Well, he's an extra for a seventy serial killer movie
after this, so he's just trying to stay in character
with his corduroy fluff jacket that you had you had
Tampa six six slash came down here in a windowless
white man.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
I suck seck. I know you're desperate for this hair.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
That is a beautiful That is a beautiful coral colored
jacket you have on there.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Sir, Thanks, You're welcome. It's awesome in the bast I've
got nothing anymore. I'm done.
Speaker 3 (37:23):
Tampa hosts Vegas. Atlanta's going to Minnesota. I think this
bodes well for us for a Tampa game next year.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Kirk Cousins Bowl, Kirk Cousins Bowl, let's go. I'm glad
you found the microphone. Yeah, old not to say Kirk
Cousins Bowl. This is the problem.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
Everyone says, I talked too loud, So you turn my
mic down, so I sit back and talk all I
actually turn your mic up because you don't talk. You
talk with the side of your mouth like a cartoon
on this damn thing like we've been doing this.
Speaker 4 (37:56):
You know what it is.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
Him. I'm hungry, so Sam, can you go get me
a turkey and cheese? Can get a turkey, go go
fritter along and get me a sandwich. Anybody else want
to weigh in on any other games? I think Arizona,
Seattle is a pretty good one.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Yeah you wanna flip? I mean you want to? I mean,
I know, I know. Quimby does have some kajata he
wants to do himself on.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
Apparently there's gonna be a quippy ripping for his birthday
coming up, which yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
Mean, we're ready whenever. I'm good with that. Do you
guys want to end with that? And we start kajada
right now?
Speaker 3 (38:37):
Let's do kajada and then we'll we'll and with ripping
on your beautiful family before I'm good with that.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
They already know him a jackass. They don't know all
the elaborate layers of being a jackass. Though we got you.
We got you. So before that, let's get into predictions,
shall we.
Speaker 5 (38:55):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
Quoted from Mason Cavern from Pro Football and I think
this is amazing. While the football world sings the praises
of Saquon Barkley as they should, not enough as being
said about how well this Eagles offensive line is paving
the way for its back.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
This offensive line holds the second highest run.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
Blocking grade eighty three in the NFL, highlighted by the
league's highest graded tackle in Jordan By Alatta, who owns
an insane ninety four point two Pro Football Focus run
block He's also the highest overall with the ninety six,
and then the pass block rate is Lane Johnson is
(39:41):
the highest offensive tackle in all football. With that, that's
bad news for Panthers defense that ranks thirty first in
team run defense grade forty five point nine. Just this
past week, what's up, brother Antonio, appreciate Jim Carolina allowed
(40:01):
Buccaneers running backs Bucky Irving and Rashad White to combine
for two hundred and twenty four yards on the ground.
Beside that, that's pretty simple Zach Bond versus Shubble Hubbard.
And at this point this Bryce Young, Scaria Trey feel
free to weigh in on, Edith.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
I think that you know, Bryce Jean doesn't really scare me.
I think that this team, you know, is this is
this is gonna be a team that Sirianni is gonna
have to show off as a coach that he needs
to make sure this is a team that you know
that you should go out and dominate. But you have
to make sure that your players don't come in with
the mindset of like, hey, we just all we need
to do is put out on our cleats and we
(40:40):
should just walk over to him. So this is gonna
be a Sirianni game where he needs to make sure
that he keeps his guys motivated and make sure that
they come in there with the right mindset to win
this game.
Speaker 3 (40:49):
The last time the Carolina Panthers were here, we were
up twenty one nothing in the first half.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
I was thinking, Oh, we're gonna walk out of here.
Speaker 4 (40:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
Ever and they lost the game. Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (40:59):
So this is one of those you know, you say,
the trap game with Pittsburgh coming up next week, which
is gonna be the biggest party in December. The other
thing is with Carolina having the worst run defense in
the entire league, what I would like is Saquon gets
two hundred and fifty yards because he has three seventy
yard runs, is a total of like twelve carries the
(41:19):
entire game, and we can we could.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
Sit it down.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
Thirteen and a half points is a lot of points.
And I see it back I see you could see
that back door cover. Uh, let's just let's just win
this like thirty five to fourteen and just be cool,
just be healthy.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
Yeah, I want to leave it like halftime.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
So Caroline has been playing some competitive football though. I
mean two weeks ago they almost two only lose it
by three points.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
They almost beat the Chiefs. They should have beat the
Bucks last week.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
I mean, like, if you look at their last four games,
they've been in every single game. And I'm not saying,
like Tray is right, this is a Syriani game. It's
as much as keeping the focus to the guys and
letting them know that, hey, it's still there in front
of us. It's small percent. It's chance that the fact
that that the Allions are going to lose two games
the rest of the year and we're gonna win out.
(42:06):
But they have to keep the pedal to the medal,
if not just for making sure that nothing seeps into
this team psyche from the end of last year. We
need to finish strong. The toughest shake last year is
on the radar. No, it's in the rear, but it's
one of those things to where you want to continue
to push the envelope on that. The fact is that
(42:28):
they're coming off of a tough, fought game against Baltimore
last week.
Speaker 2 (42:31):
They had some.
Speaker 3 (42:31):
Injuries, but they're also getting some guys back this week,
DeVante Smith, do not outthink yourself. Run the football against
the worst rushing defense in the league, and stop Chubble Hubbard.
That's what they want to do. Chubble Hubbard sixth in
the league and rushing in the NFL. They want to
control the ball. They want to control the clock, stop
him on first and second down, and put them in
third and long situations with a young quarterback who's finding
(42:54):
himself over the last month and a half since he
took back over the role. But put the ball in
his hands on third and eight, third and long and
make them make mistakes against your secondary. He's been playing
really well. No reblank and ship today. By the way,
in the secondary, Sam, no, no, no, no, I'm just
waiting to you. Uh say, why are you here? A sandwich?
I went Turkey and American side.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
Slash. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (43:19):
Bryce Young is a nice story. He's redeemed himself. He's
become a serviceable NFL quarterback.
Speaker 2 (43:25):
But if you guys.
Speaker 6 (43:26):
Recall the Eagles played the reigning MVP last week and
held him in check.
Speaker 2 (43:32):
I expect them, Mom yelled at him too. I expect them.
Speaker 3 (43:37):
Yeah I didn't run enough, she said, yeah, you had,
you had plenty of scrambles there and you.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
Didn't take them. See the families and champlain.
Speaker 6 (43:46):
With that being said, I think this is a game
where I really would like to see Nick Sirianni dominate
early so that they can I hate saying this, but
like put on cruise control and and just go through
the second half without you know, having any injuries. Uh
Saquon Barkley can maybe take the fourth quarter off. I
(44:08):
really think the Eagles are that dominant that they can
take it to this team and and really put it
on pause for the fourth quarter.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
Chance it. Do you want to weigh in sack? You're done? No,
I'm good. All right, they'll call it a color. They'll
call it the best color andles in the league for
nothing money, Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 3 (44:28):
J all right, you guys, we're going into Kajada right
now before I get destroyed in front of my family,
which is great.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
I'm sorry. There was no holding back with Kajada this week.
Speaker 3 (44:41):
Everybody Kajadas kick ass, jackass or dumb ass, and we'll
just go down the road.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
Dos pay attention. She doesn't need to get you a sandwich.
Speaker 3 (44:53):
Listen, this isn't about you. It's always I know you
think it's always about you. It's not about you now,
although in fact it is about you. You shut I
just start with just give us a couple, all right,
Double dates with Steve McNair and Fred Lane.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Oh my gosh, we're going, We're going come on, wow.
Speaker 3 (45:12):
Yeah, that might be almost as bad as going to
the gun range with plasic O Buris.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
Come.
Speaker 2 (45:17):
I mean, that's wow. For the Panthers aren't even a
good team.
Speaker 3 (45:22):
I thought we were gonna do some of Jerry Richards
jokes or something Benders with Carrie Collins.
Speaker 2 (45:28):
Kick ass. You gonna have a great child all in.
Speaker 3 (45:31):
Sexual harassment camp with Jerry richardson good timing.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
Alright, there you go.
Speaker 5 (45:40):
Birdday, Happy bird Day, you old bastards.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
Happy bird and cousin bread you guys.
Speaker 3 (46:05):
All right, Foster, you don't know this because none of
you have it. You may have a twin, but I
have a twin cousin born on the same day, same
delivery room, same doctor, my mom and my aunt.
Speaker 2 (46:18):
I was about to say, different women. What were they doing,
same mother, same father. That was a party. I'm yes,
and sack.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
Let's twist this, all right, let's go yeah, let's let
me heay, so this isn't about you, No, let's make
it about Quimby. Yes, so let's talk about this.
Speaker 2 (46:43):
Did you?
Speaker 4 (46:44):
So?
Speaker 2 (46:44):
We thought it would be a.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
Great idea to tell you about all the fun times
we've had with Quimby over the years on Reach of Radio.
Speaker 2 (46:51):
Let's let's go, let's go.
Speaker 3 (46:53):
My my favorite memory was the exciting interview that we
had with Eagles Legendsledo Shepherd and Hollis Thomas down.
Speaker 2 (47:03):
Remember that one.
Speaker 3 (47:03):
Oh you don't remember that one because Quimby spent the
entire time interviewing Costa Rican paddle board prospend Dad.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
Yeah, it was a lot hotter than alto.
Speaker 3 (47:15):
The problem is the problem is that his two segments
in before a storm hit Costa.
Speaker 2 (47:19):
Rica and blew the power out. But it's okay.
Speaker 3 (47:22):
God was like, all right, there, no know who Quimby
was trying to get after the eighteen nineteen year old
Olympic paddle boarder. Her mom Bobby idea too, We had
no idea which one. The power went out and we
had the greatest show ever. We were roasted on Quimby
for forty five minutes.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
Viewers were coming in, streaming in telling all their stories
