Good morning and welcome to What’s Going On a show about making a difference in our communities and in ourselves. I’m Loraine Ballard Morrill. What's Going On is brought to you by the American Association for cancer research. I’m raising money for the AACR by running during the Philadelphia Marathon. I’m running the Rothman 8 K on Saturday November 23rd. I committed to raising a thousand dollars and I hit that goal two weeks ago thanks to a surprise and very generous donation from Gary Barbera – yes – that Gary Barbera. I’m passionate about this organization because they are working to support research to end cancers and 88 cents out of every dollar raised goes to life saving research. You can put your dollars to excellent use by donating go to aacr.org/donate.
