for hopping in and filling out. So yeah, absolutely so,
I am coming in fresh from a Harry's already just pass.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
You don't have any Bayonne gear on today? I mean,
what did you spend in the pro.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Shop north Unto Yeah, well, once you start going into
the belts and everything, yeah, I mean, can.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
You get a belt under a hundred bucks? I don't the.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Belt has the ferry on it. It's so cool. But yeah, no, no, no, no,
but yeah, I would say.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Top three golf experience I've ever had, Is that right?

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Yes? Yeah, all right?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
So Pine Valley's one, Pine Valley, Oakmont and and this
are maybe by top four.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Like I don't know, I don't know if I've had.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
A cooler experience in golf than today than today. And
and thanks to uh alex Lon and Ryan from my
club who who had a connection Rudy Virga And turns
out I meet Rudy and he grew up in South
Philly then Bucks County played at Marie in the in
the Philly am like Cobbs Creek turned into a tent,

(02:10):
like everything else, turns into a Philly golf conversation. He
will be a future guest of Swing It and Ding It.
But we were out there with the great Sean Brace,
who was my teammate today and our our client Matt
from Tickpic great company, great guy, and uh, it was
definitely a wow moment to get out there. They took
the ferry from Manhattan. They have a private ferry that

(02:30):
picks you up in Manhattan and met us there and
the second it's wild.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Right, You're driving in.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Bay Owned, New Jersey and it's like, you know, little
shops and everything, and then you turn a corner the
gates open and.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Like, am I in Scotland?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Like the story is crazy because it's only you know,
I think two thousand and seven it was when it
when it opened, the first time club designer and the
clubhouse though, feels like it's been there for one hundred years.
That's the cool part. And it is just an incredible
clubhouse with you know, the showers are fantastic, right, and

(03:05):
the food was tremendous, and uh, the golf course first
of all, you go down and hop in a cart
and go down to the range. They're like the range
is the Hudson River.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
It's in water. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Yeah, So you turn the corner and it's just like
you know, you see like Bowie's and bumpers that just
lock in a square and you're just firing floating balls
out into the river.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Yeah. And I saw the post. I saw your posts. Actually, thanks,
I was living vicariously through you today on the Instagram.
And shower the shower head was.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Like how close you got to get the shower close?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Was that to Oakmont, because I've heard Oakmont may have.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
The Stranton to Yeah, Scranton's Scranton will peel a layer
off your back. This is just like beautiful, pristine. Yeah,
the people need to see the showers at these clubs.
That's why I do my service, right, that's why I
do this work for the people so they can see
and uh, just an incredible, incredible shower.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
I'm not I don't normally say like it's not fair,
but I'm telling you, the women's locker rooms most.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Of these places are not like the men. It's not
like these locker rooms are.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
Incredible where I can go through and tell you, like
top ten, it's like, now, like, yeah, can we get
running water in this shower?

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Right?

Speaker 1 (04:25):
The women's locker rooms are generally an afterthought.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Well, and I get it.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
And traditionally men's sport we were an afterthought.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
And now it's like we got little men.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
You know that's an outrage.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Yeah, I mean really yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
For us at most places. So you take what you
can get.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
But yeah, you see the huge American flag that just
like it's it's everywhere.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
And your boys putter. I rolled in about sixty five
feet of putts in the four holes nice now and
not yet.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I don't have the makefield yet. But I'm just saying
me as your boyh.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Your boy, okay, Harry's boys.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Putter, Okay, the putter was what are you working with?

Speaker 3 (05:07):
I have like the cobra. I hit a million putters.
I did, but then I wanted to go back to
a blade because I'm I'm fidgety and I have to change.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
I felt like the bet and I felt like the
that was like too heavy and I was whacking the
ball and this I I've got really mouth with it.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Uh No, just a regular blade. Yeah, but I actually
I liked it better than Scottie that I hid.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
So I have a blade.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
And I was with Brought a couple of weeks ago
and he was looking at me putting. He's like, okay,
like I get it, and it's pretty and you like it.
He's like, but honestly, like the mallet, you're gonna have
more control visually whatever.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Yeah, Brad's all over the mallets now.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
I like to look down on on it and think
it's pretty.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
It's a different look looking down onto a mountain.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
I don't want to look at a laptop. I look
at a laptop all day.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
I don't want to look down at a putter and
like mini laptop right right, But it's.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Uh bona the kind of course, and you would feel
the same that I would love to get done it
and to get done playing and then play it again
because there's so many shots where you're like where am I?

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Where am I hitting? Like, right, there was one. I'll
post a picture we did.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Yeah, yeah, And it's the purest form of golf is
when you walk and have caddies links. It's links, yes, right, yeah, yeah,
it's links. But I mean sometimes you and I'll post
the one picture is like the most narrow shoot of
a fair way. Yeah, a lot of bunkering, a lot
of ups and downs, a lot of less than driver.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
I actually played really well the front night.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Now the weird part is I think I shot like
a forty three on the front and I had like
a triple.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
I blew up on the last hole, so I was
I was forty fire triple. Yeah. Yeah, so that we
get it. We come around the back.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
We're on thirteen and the guy comes out. He's like, yeah,
I'm blowing a horn at five o'clock. It's gonna it's
gonna be bad, and the caddy goes, guys, there's no
one in front of us, Like, no, he's like, he's like,
forget about playing fourteen fifteen. He's like, let's go move
up and play sixteen seventeen eighteen.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
So you skipped some holes.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
He's like, skipped.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
He's like, he's like, if you want to come back,
if it clear, it is fine, he goes, But the
sixteen seventy eighteen here are as good as anywhere.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Oh okay, break around.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
It was the right move man, because when we hit
our putt on eighteen, they blew the horn.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
So it was so smart.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
And you got to see the finishing hole be right
at the clubhouse, like, yesh, so smart, and the finishing
hole is awesome.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
You're coming up from the river, you're under the flag,
the clubhouse is right there. I mean, I posted a
bunch of videos. I'm going to post some more, but yeah,
I got to look at the clubhouse. Looks like just
just an experience of a lifetime.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
And you didn't run into Mike Greenberg, did you? No?

Speaker 3 (07:42):
But they said he is there every day.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
He's there all the time. He takes that ferry over it.
From ESPN New York every day.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Brace was asking about some of the guys. That was
the first name that they said was your boy Green.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Hasn't Eli Manning a member there too?

Speaker 3 (07:57):
I know Eli's at Sabanic, but I don't know if.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
He's He's a Liberty National too, Okay, Leli loves golf.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, thanks again to to Rudy. We'll have
him on soon, I think you guys. I mean, once
he saw my hat that said Philly Golf, He's like,
oh wait where he lit up? And man, he starts
talking about Cops Creek and like you know, he had
a ball and I had a great time talking to him.
So yeah, a lot of fun, a lot of fun.
But we'll talk a little bit more about our golf too,

(08:26):
because I had a wild experience in the Derby this
weekend that I want to talk about because that was
the most uh you know, high stakeskoff I've ever played
and and it was a cool experience to be a
part of it. But let's uh, let's talk about our
boy Rosie. Are we talking about Rosie or Fleetwood?

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Which one?

Speaker 1 (08:45):
I mean, what do you do here? Like you know
Fleetwood falls short yet again? Uh? Like I told Danielle.
He just doesn't win on the piece.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
And you were playing in my head the whole time, Harry.
I was like, I saw him, and I was like, Tom,
it doesn't win, even when he's like a three shot lead,
like going to fifteen. I think it was. I was like,
I don't think he's gonna win.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
But the thing is is we all thought he'd lose
prior to the round to Scheffler, Like we thought Scheffler's
two backs starting the day like he's gonna win it, right,
And here comes Rosie, Rosie bird He's fourteen, fifteen, sixteen,
and seventeen. After making a bogey at twelve where that
put him three back, and you know, he comes up

(09:25):
with this alternate solution to eighteen where on the final
day he hits driver instead of three wood, and it
put him a whole lot closer. You know, he didn't
put it in the water, puts him a whole lot closer.
He didn't make Birdie, but he found some confidence going
into the playoff and that made the difference. But yeah, Fleetwood,

(09:48):
you know, I love the guy. He's a class act.
He's a really good player. But man, he bogied the
first hole and you could just tell that that right there.
That is the nerves. You know. He gets a drop
from the grand stand off the sixteenth green, which is
the is the is the final par five, hits his
chip over the green, makes five and he had to

(10:10):
make birdie there. Then then he goes and makes bogie
on seventeen, comes up short on the approach and missed
the seven foot par putt, and you're like, there goes
the tournament. So yeah, it's just it's typical Tommy Fleewood.
I hate it.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
I just don't really do that.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
I really do like the guy and I'd love to
see him get a win, but man, he just doesn't
make enough putts on Sunday. It's just that's what he does.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Well, didn't you curse him because you got that selfie
with him?

Speaker 1 (10:40):
No, that was that was the Cricket Club and he
actually finished in the top ten. He finished in the
top five. Maybe there he actually had a good week.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
Yeah, that was tough though. I was rooting for him,
and like you said, you know, I'm sixteen.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Just seeing that happen, it's like, come on now, I'm like,
maybe he makes us, maybe we get to a playoff.
And then when the I'm just like, oh, this is
not the.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
Ending I would have written. Yeah, I wouldn't have guessed
that from the beginning. I don't think anybody really would have.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
And that JJ spawn goes sixty five sixty five on
the weekend, gets himself in another playoff. You know, talk
about him work, but man, he's having a great year.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
Then they had to move the cup because I was like,
what are they going to switch holes?

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Like if we're starting to get dark? And then they
moved They moved the cup, which was kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Yeah, it was. It was strange what it.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Yeah, I thought they were just going to go to
a different hole because I even asked b I was like, well, wait,
like we're going to you know, we're playing that. We're
not gonna play this whole the third time, right, And
then all of a sudden there's I see him switching
the cup.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Yeah, okay, bizarre.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Yeah, I don't think I've seen that.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
No, what I haven't?

Speaker 4 (11:40):
You know?

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Yeah, but Josh rosie Zie Justin Man missed.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
His first twenty one cuts as a pro and since
then has twenty six world.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Wide wins, twelve PGA Tour wins. Is a US Open champion.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
Gold medalist, seven time Ryder cupper and over seventy three
million career earnings.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Yeah, he's probably in the Hall of Fame probably, but
I'd love to see him get another major. I'd love
to see this guy win a Masters. He's forty five.
He's forty five, and you know this, I didn't know.
I know. I mean I've seen him, but I never
He doesn't look six to three, but he's listed at
six three.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Is he really Yeah? Yeah, lanky, yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
But yeah, you know, got it done though. He's a
class act man, for sure, he really is.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
And we talked about right uh Cam last week right
seven seven runner ups Fleetwood has twelve top threes yep,
twelve top threes without a win.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
I mean that is knocking on the door man.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
That was Ben Griffin on Cornferry like two years ago.
It was like second place, second place, third place, fifth place,
second place. Hopefully Tommy will get one for us one one.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Yeah, and you're talking about Cam Young. He does sixty
four in the final round, finished eleven under par. Another
great week.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
You know.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
We talked about Spawn Scheffler over the green on fifteen
made a rare bogie that was a really bizarre bogey
for him on that hole that's a short hole, and
then makes birdies on sixteen and eighteen. But you know
it just wasn't enough. But when you see him on
the leaderboard going into a final round just two back,
you're like, oh, he's gonna win. Yeah, and he didn't

(13:20):
win this time.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
It's kind of crazy, weird this weekend.

Speaker 5 (13:23):
You're like, wait, you know, you're like Tommy, like, nah,
I don't think that's gonna happen. Then you're like Scotty
and you're like you see justin Ross and you're like,
what's going on?

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:32):
So, and Chefer's caddy went out in the back.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Look at that's that's the bone.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
That fairy that's cool. And that colored green too, that's
wait what else is it? The fairy? And what's it?
And the logo? Oh that's clean, that's awesome. Where are
you making fairy noises right now?

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Did you just wow?

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Fog?

Speaker 4 (13:56):
It's so good?

Speaker 1 (13:57):
And Chefler's caddy went home for a family and urgency
on for Sunday.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
Yeah, what's going on with Teddy?

Speaker 1 (14:03):
I don't know what's happening. He lives in Louisiana.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
The Instagram and see what he puts up.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
He didn't have far to drive, but he Scheffler summons
Brad pain from Dallas, Texas, who caddied for him at
Valhalla that time when uh, Teddy went home for a
graduation thing and he's the tour chaplain. You know. My
wife's like, so why would he ask this guy on
no notice to drive from Dallas? Why wouldn't you just

(14:28):
get a local caddy? And I'm like, oh, I guess
And how.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
Cool would that be too? Just be like, hey, you
come here and then win the tournament, just.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
With you know, Harry Mays on my bag and that's
the ultimate, like Scottie Scheffler move ever like that.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
So cool. I got he carries my bag, you know, right,
that's it.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
But yeah, but Brad Payne did it again, so that's
that was kind of wild good stuff. Did you miss
Rory because I didn't.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
He's gracing the field this week Oh I know.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
He's taking time out of his busy schedule to play
some golf this weekend and you're welcome, Harry.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
I totally missed him. So he said, come back for you.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
All right, Danielle, Let's spill some tea.

Speaker 6 (15:15):
Oh you want to Okay, well, you know what I
did have just a little bit of uh, you know,
Rory t for Harry because I know he loves it,
and Harry, I know.

Speaker 5 (15:26):
You love when Rory gives a little subtle, you know,
little check out my watch or.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
Talks about his watches. So I saw a little.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
Clip and they said, Rory, do you remember what you
bought with your first you know, big tour paycheck and
would you splur John? And Rory goes yes, and it's
like the worst purchase ever, a watch with diamonds all
around it. And he's like, I can't believe I bought it,
and he goes, I'm not going to say the name
or the brand, you know what style it was because
it's not home sponsored by now. But as he's walking away,

(15:56):
so I was like, how much did it cost? So
the price tag he just subtly drops while he's walking away.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
He's like twenty grand and just walk away.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
So that was I think it was an Omega because
I think he used to be an Omega guy.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Yeah, but if he wasn't Omega guy, why'd.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
He buy it twenty right now? Right now?

Speaker 4 (16:14):
Right?

Speaker 5 (16:15):
So that's though, that's eight grand, all right, let's move
on with some more tea. So when we're talking about
top of the list, we're talking about PGA Tour, one
name that's always up at the top.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
That we think we're going to say is Scotty Scheffler.

Speaker 5 (16:36):
Well, Scotty doesn't lead this list. Harry Hall does fifty
five rounds in the sixties and counting, So you think
it's time we start talking about Harry Hall is one
of golf's best scorers.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
I think he's been pretty sneaky lately.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
Fifty five rounds in the sixties, yep, and he just
he's trying to He's onto next week. So Harry Hall
fifty five rounds on the sixties, Ben Griffin coming in
second with forty five, Chris got her up with forty three,
Scotti Scheffler also with forty three, and then Ryan Gerard
shout out to Jason Baals guy with forty two.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
So kind of some you know, I love these guys
that when you know they're there sneaky good, like, you know,
I wouldn't.

Speaker 5 (17:15):
Say that, you know, Ryan Gerard just yet or maybe
Ben Griffin is just there. But most people, if they
have like a basic knowledge of golf, it's not a
household name yet, but I love that those guys that
are still just climbing up there and just you know,
playing really well and obviously talking about this with you know,
those rounds in the sixties, fifty five rounds in the sixties.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Harry Hall, like he's having the season that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
I think he's the best putter on tour this year,
which they used to always say was Denny Jennie Carthy,
who's now down the list a little bit. And when
they keep on when they kept on saying that about Denny,
and we love Denny, we do, but he hasn't won yet,
you know, and it's like they keep putting this moniker
on him always the best part of on a tour

(18:00):
like that. That's a heavy thing to you know, to
wear to me. Let's let him win first and then
let's call him the best.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's tough.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
He's had a couple you know, close finishes and a
pebble beach and everything else.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
But you know, like you said, it's it's.

Speaker 5 (18:20):
A lot of pressure in you that final round as
we just saw Tommy start with a bogie. It's like
those those jitters they got to get it out and
they got to figure it out.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
But we will sing Harry. You get to watch Happy
Gilmore too, yet I did.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
We brought it down last week.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
Yeah we didn't see.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
I was afraid he did. I didn't get to listen
to the episode yet.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
But yeah, I thought Will Salad torus favorite was he
was my favorite PGA tour player on It.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Was so funny. I had to ask you that because
I know, you know you hadn't watched it, and I.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Had a bunch of belly laughs. It was good, it
was It was kind of what I expected.

Speaker 4 (18:57):
It's not like a Godfather.

Speaker 5 (18:58):
We're not expecting get to be like winning an Emmy,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
I wanted to smash something over Travis Kelsey's head.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
You know what about you watch that?

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Taylor's Taylor's interview on New Heights Hare.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
He came out this week.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
Yes today, are you paying?

Speaker 4 (19:14):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
No, I'm not doing that.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
They say that their posts usually get like, you know,
eight hundred thousand views or something. They're one yesterday I
had one hundred and sixty two million.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
Yeah, I'm sure they did.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Good for Taylor. Come on swinging and ding it.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Yeah, help us out yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
And Ruby'll be jumping in in Moosa's places to conduct
that interview.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
All right, guys, we got one week left.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
Six spots up for grabs, the top six right now,
Scheffler spawned, Shoffley, Henley, d Chambeau and English on the bubble, JT. Morikawa,
Ben Griffin, Bradley, McNeely, Novak, Harmon Young, can't lay and burnt.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Who's getting in? Who's getting snubbed?

Speaker 1 (19:58):
There's no way I'm taking mad McNeely unless he wins
this week. Okay, away, Well, it depends on if Keegan
Bradley takes himself.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
What do you think about that? Did you hear Rory's
comments on that?

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Yeah? Rory, Rory said he wouldn't do it.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
Yeah, well then and then he's like, they've asked me,
and they're like, oh, they've asked you, and he goes, well, no,
it's been brought up, but I've shut it down. And
he just said he doesn't think that it's fair because
of all the additional media coverage, all the meetings, like
everything else that you have to do. He's like, you,
you have so many responsibilities and so much extra I
don't think you can fully like be a player, But

(20:33):
then you have Ricky Fowler.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
On the other end saying like, no, like Keg should play.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
So can't La can't They said the same thing. Yeah, yeah,
and I think a lot of other guys probably did too,
but they just didn't show it. But here's one thing
that was brought up am and Lynch. Actually, I'm going
to give him some credit here because he actually brought
this up. If you're Keegan Bradley and you're gonna play,
that's fine, but when do you play. You basically have

(20:59):
to play in the team events on Friday Saturday in
the afternoon because the morning, if you play in the morning,
there's decisions to be made for the afternoon rounds that
have to happen, you know, based on who's playing. You know,
you don't pre you don't totally pre set the lineups

(21:20):
prior to the days.

Speaker 5 (21:21):
Yeah, I mean, if you're three down, you got to
be like, we got to make some changes here exactly.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
So if he's out there playing, maybe that can't be
be done. So he'd only be able to play in
the afternoon on Friday and Saturday and the team events,
which I never thought of that before that.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
Yeah, that's a great point.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
I didn't think of that angle either, But you know
that's the thing depending on who this is, Like yeah,
like Scott a, you know he's hot all year round,
but some of these other guys, it's like, golf is
very much a sport. When you're on, you're on. And
if that happens area as you were just saying, and
it's like, okay, we're now down, we have to make
some adjustments.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
It's like what does he do? So he's like, I think.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
Put himself back early in the singles round on Sunday
so we could get back out there.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
You know, I think there's no way. He don't think.

Speaker 5 (22:06):
You know, it is a lot just said talking about
it right now, I'm like wow, Like.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Yeah, unless like he wins, If he wins Sunday, then repeat,
then I think it changes everything. But like I'm curious
to see with a guy like can't Ley who's sitting
at fifteen now. Can't Lay is won here twice, so
can he catch now if can't Lay wins this this week,
that that act that you know obviously he jumps right
into there. But like you have Cam Young who's won

(22:32):
at this course. We talked about it last week. Hometown
the whole nine bomber who's sitting at fourteen like a
guy like Novak who was hot in the beginning. I
think there's no shot. That's McNeely out, Bradley, that's the one.
Griffin again, he might be out too, because he's just
you know, JT is going to be on a team.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Is more cow going to make it?

Speaker 5 (22:53):
And when you're looking at at JT and Griffin and
JT with that experience and everything else.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
But I don't know Ben Griffin.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
I want I got to put Ben Griffin.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
I watched this thing the other day, like I like,
I just think Ben's like a new player and I've
known him for a while and seeing and he's smart.

Speaker 4 (23:06):
I've seen the PGA.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
Tour for like following him the other day and he
was like walking into the trailer and he goes, what's
up Captain to ta Keegan. He saw him and he's
like you know, hey, like yeah, the confidence and also
he's walking out of the trailer and he's like you
know what he's like every week in and out. I
see all the best players in there taking care of
their body, doing their thing, and he's like he basically
said he's modeling himself after what he sees Scottie doing

(23:29):
and you know, like Sander doing and everything else.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Yeah, you know, but everything he's in there getting like I.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Think, yes, yeah, I think yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
For for me, the guy in.

Speaker 5 (23:40):
The bubble, I would say, like my picks would be
like JT. Griffin, can't I how about Young?

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Well, he's in, he's in.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
Yeah you think.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
I mean I can't stand him, but he's in.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
I know, I'm shocked that he's eighth, Like I feel
like he hasn't done anything.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Can't put you'd have sixty, yer cup, I know.

Speaker 4 (24:02):
That the top six right now? Dshambo's in, But like,
how do we how do we like that?

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Like what I love you do? Oh oh yeah, give
me more and ject him into my veins.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Oh you need him in that event man, yes, yes, yeah, oh.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
He Beth Page is going to explode when he got
Oh my god, it's crazyright Cam Young. I think I
think is in.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
I think he's gonna be in two.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
I do, I do.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
I mean he can help himself this week. This week
can be very interesting.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Right, Big Ballpark, it's a good spot for him, it's
a good golf course for him.

Speaker 5 (24:37):
Yeah, yeah, Well some big names packing up that we
won't see this week. Made the first playoff stop and
then they're gone, missing the bmw uh pot Geater Aaron Rye,
Jordan Speed, Jake Knapp, Wyndham Clark. Men, we will not
be cooking Tony now also missed by sixteen spots. But

(24:58):
who's who's the biggest I has to missed round two
out of.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Out of those guys, you think Windom Window, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
I agree with that, and I think that's why he
doesn't make the Ryder Cup.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Yeah yeah, And I have a feeling I feel USA
is probably pretty happy about that. He does not seem
like a locker room guid to me. Right well, he
breaks locker room, so he's definitely a lot of room definite.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
And is that somebody that you want, like you know
right now? With just coming off of that, it's like,
let's just let that go for now and let it
let him take his anger management courses. Well, we'll come
back to that later, but.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
I want to talk about one last thing.

Speaker 5 (25:34):
Ricky Fowler. His Playoff push sponsored. Nearly half of his
FedEx Cup points come from six sponsor invites, six, including
the one at the Truest we saw yep so enough
to sneak him into the top fifty and lock up
all of twenty twenty six signature events. So I want
to talk about it, right, What do you guys think

(25:55):
about about that?

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Well, go ahead, moose, go ahead, listen for me.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
I remember talking to Joey Chitwood at the Truest and
he said the best person that he met that week
was Ricky Fowler. That he came up to him and said, Hey,
is there anyone I need to talk to? Is there
anything I could do for you? So me, who's a
client person, who's a sponsorship person? I love it, right,
I love someone who gets the business side of things
and knows that sometimes it's not what you know, it's

(26:26):
who you know. Sometimes it's not how you play, it's
who you know, apparently, But I get it. I get
that there could be outrage with taking a spot from somebody,
but if you get a chance in life, you capitalize.
And he's put himself in a position to get those chances,
and I can't I can't discredit him for that.

Speaker 5 (26:41):
Yeah, nearly half though, reminding you, guys, nearly half of
his lot from six sponsorry, let's hear your take.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Buddy played well in those events obviously when he got
the opportunity, And I think the tour is better with
guys like Ricky Fowler on television more often than not.
Uh Still, I still think he has cachet, maybe not
as much, you know, as he did five, six, seven
years ago. I get the whole I you know, it

(27:11):
was an interesting thing because I read the same thing
you did. And it's like, I think guys like Ricky
Fowler when they're playing well or playing on television, is
good for the PGA Tour. And I think it's it
trickles down to everybody that plays on the PGA Tour
in some way, shape or form. So I like him.

(27:33):
I wish he'd play better, you know. I wish he'd
win a freaking major. You know, maybe those days are gone,
but I'm always been a Ricky Fowler fan, and I
just think the tour is better. They need to find
the next Ricky Fowler or two, you know, they need
they need to.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
Somebody just start wearing all one color.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Yeah exactly. I mean, I'm watching this US amateur, This
Miles Russell kid is years away. He's just committed to
Florida State. But that's a guy.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
He needs electricity, he will ignite the place.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
They need more guys like that. But as long as
they've still got Ricky, he still has a following, he's
got a great mullet, and let's keep them on TV.

Speaker 5 (28:16):
Yeah, and you know I love that you guys both
kind of share similar stance because for me, I think
that's exactly why sponsor exemptions exist. So Ricky's not just
a player. He's a walking brand. We all know most
people were talking about household names. You say, what color
does Ricky where? They know it's orange, they know what
its hair looks like. He's a walking brand.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
He sells tickets, he boosts the TV ratings, He brings
eyeballs to an event.

Speaker 5 (28:38):
So if sponsors are investing big money to host the
big tournament, why would they not invite these guys who
are going to move the needle. You know, the exemption
did exactly what it was designed to do, get more
people through the gates, get more people watching at home.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
And Ricky played well with those exemptions which locked them up.
So you know that's a point of the sponsor's exemption
for sure.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
For sure, great stuff, great stuff, A couple of quick items.

Speaker 5 (29:03):

Speaker 1 (29:34):
I mean, I'm not going to say it. But last
week I don't know. I you haven't listened back to
the podcast.

Speaker 4 (29:39):
I didn't get a chance to.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Yeah, I know that's all you got. That's all I'm
gonna say. You just got to listen read I did it.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
And that dermatologists tested trip me up and I glitched
for like forty seconds and I was in a hole
and nobody was helping me.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
In How did you wear your wear SPS today.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
At Bay when your horse? I horse?

Speaker 4 (30:05):
You like the facestick right?

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Because I get race have it on his dome brace
did yeah, yeah, yeah, there was.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
We were both sweating. It was hot out there. It
was hot. We were thinking about we were thinking about
putting the tampon in the hat. You ever see that move?

Speaker 2 (30:21):
No, yeah, yeah guy tampons, Yeah, bald head, there's nothing
to block it.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
It's just wow, the string hanging up.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Pad.

Speaker 7 (30:37):
Yeah, here's a guy with four daughters. Yeah, a quick
items our our march shop is up. And the beauty
of having a merch shop is when things happened like
they did yesterday, when anybody.

Speaker 4 (30:50):
How great is that shirt?

Speaker 3 (30:51):
Is that leg it's legit. It's up and running Philly
golf with the car on fire?

Speaker 1 (30:56):
Now, explain this, like how was he there playing around like.

Speaker 5 (31:03):
He's over the ball and all of a sudden You're like, but,
I mean, the filming of this was like so serendipitous,
it was unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
Yeah, they said there were some longer footage, but they
didn't want to share all of it because they were
having some commentary about which course it was and everything.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
But but the car was literally on fire and literally
as he's like.

Speaker 5 (31:22):
Looking at it exploding, Yeah, like you just heard like
as he's like He's like, should I hit the ball?

Speaker 4 (31:28):
Watch what's going on? And I was the same way.
I'm like, car player, car, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
What is going on?

Speaker 4 (31:34):
But it's like they say, you know what I mean,
it's like a fire. It's like you don't want to watch,
but you're also like, what.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
But the Lincoln our bio has that shirt for sale.
It has the shirt Danielle has on right now. It
has the shirt I have on right now. It has
the he's golfing. We have to say it like that
He's goffing shirt. That the that the wives love. It
has the George Bush Now watch now watch this hit
this drive drest the best.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
So check it out. Are outing. We're pretty much wrapped
at this point.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
I probably could fit maybe for somewhere too in it
if we if we're lucky.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
But that's about it.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
Wait do we decide is us three with somebody or
what do we.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
We haven't decide yet. We got to figure that out.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
We need some new footage for a new intro.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Yeah, yeah, we got to figure that out. But uh yeah,
so let's talk about Danielle. You got out a turtle,
I hear.

Speaker 5 (32:23):
Yeah, because they shut down for two weeks. So I
went there over the weekend. So AI is one of
my clients. It's like, uh, it's a golf technology coach
in your pocket essentially, So putting some swings into there,
I had Brandon hit some so he messed up my
index a little bit because he was.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
Under my profile. Then he tried to use it to
negotiate shots with me. I was like, I don't think.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
So, but yeah, I hit a few shots there, probably
the last time that I'll use this set of clubs,
because I swear I know you guys are rolling your eyes,
but I.

Speaker 4 (32:53):
Haven't locked in. I even have the text message to
prove it.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
I set up my club fitting with Neil Mark over
at Jupiter Hills to get that all set up ready
to go, so I was able to get out to
Turtle and then yesterday I actually went to the park
in West Palm.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
That place is so sweet. I mean, you guys p Yeah.

Speaker 5 (33:10):
So they have the Lit nine, but they also have
it's an incredible public course kind of I believe it's
like fully endorsed and set up by Seth Wah and
some other people, but it's.

Speaker 4 (33:20):
Just the operation they have there.

Speaker 5 (33:22):
Yeah, yeah, it's not, but they have we hosted Brandon's
thirtieth surprise birthday party there, so there's two different places
you can eat. There's also like a cabana with a
tiki hut outside, and then the driving range it's on
turf or you could hit it on the on grass,
and then they have like all the metrics. It's not
like a TrackMan but something, you know, a version of that.
The technology there that you can set up. It's just

(33:44):
beautiful and it's you know, you can go and hit
balls and go have lunch, grab beverage. You can go
play the lit nine, or you can play it during
the day, or you can go out and play the course.
But I'm not gonna lie. It probably lasted about forty
five minutes. It was I think ninety eight degrees on Tuesday,
and I was like, this is disgusting. I bent down
to grab something out of my bag, went to stand up,

(34:05):
and I'm like, am I going to pass out?

Speaker 4 (34:07):
Like it was? It took a lot out of me.
So it's just the temperature here right now.

Speaker 5 (34:11):
Brendan used always say like flarn is so hot, and
me from my office air conditioning be like, it's what.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
Do you mean?

Speaker 4 (34:16):
It's fine? And now this year. I'm like, got it.
It's it's brutal.

Speaker 5 (34:20):
We're hitting the kind of peak right now of it
being you know, mid August, and we're excited to get
up to Pennsylvania in a week and a half.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
Yeah, it's hot you get out there. It is, yeah,
because the work.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
Yeah, we're going to go, you know, we have a
couple of things. We'll have to meet up in person.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
Maybe we can get a you know, a round or
two in there, and then we're also going to go
to Cops Creek.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
Yeah, so looking forward to that then again maybe yeah,
I actually looked at it today.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
I come back.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Was it a Tuesday?

Speaker 4 (34:52):
Yep, Tuesday the twenty six.

Speaker 5 (34:53):
Yeah, yeah, so that'll be fun, looking forward to that.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
Perfect man, Harry, you had a big event, Yeah, I did.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
I didn't withdraw this time last year. In this event,
it's a it's a gross event. Not net I withdrew.
I did not this time. I played it all the
way through and putted horribly. I and it's not because
of my putter. It's because of me. I just have
no commitment to hit a putt hard enough on our

(35:26):
greens and the hole was looking about the size of
a thimble about six holes seven holes in and it
was all bad. I had thirty nine putts on Saturday,
the first round thirty So.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
What do you mean if you hit it hard in
your head?

Speaker 1 (35:42):
On this course side, the greens are fast, but I still,
you know, try to baby them in, like I just
have this really difficult time hitting putts firm enough.

Speaker 5 (35:53):
I'm going to send you this thing that Brad sent
me or showed me in real life. You put the
tea when you're you're you're addressing the ball, you know,
in the green, but you mean the same thing. He's like,
I'm either when I was, you know, destroying the ball,
hitting it too much. He's like, you're bringing your potter
back too far, and then I wasn't hitting it enough,
and so he put a tea there, and then you
can visually. Obviously you need to go and warm up

(36:14):
on the specific green to see how they're rolling that day,
but when you're hitting a few putts before you're round,
you put the tea there, and then you kind of
can visually see when I bring my potter back, you know,
this far from the ball, it's going to go this.

Speaker 4 (36:26):
When I do this, I do that obviously break and
speed and everything.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
Else, because I don't want to hit it at impact.
I just need to take the potter back first.

Speaker 4 (36:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:34):
So that's a good game, rhythm of stroke.

Speaker 4 (36:36):
Yeah, but.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
Miserable that day. If i'd have had thirty putts, i'd
have shot a decent round because I hit the ball
really good. Uh. And then the second day, you know,
you're totally out of it. I was the highest handicap
player in the field, so I wasn't expecting anything great.

Speaker 4 (36:51):
You got to call what's his face on him? Moose?

Speaker 2 (36:54):
The Uh.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
Yeah, no, no, no, the let's go to the game and.

Speaker 5 (37:02):
Yeah, sorry, my brain couldn't process.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
I was far and had no chance to begin with.
But I just wanted to play better and I just didn't.
I was miserably both days.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
Let me know if it works.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
Yeah, I'll try that because it's.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
A nice thing to see visually, you know, before you
go out, and then kind of just put that into play.

Speaker 1 (37:24):
Next time I'll play. Team will be Sunday at Stonewall.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
Oh nice. Oh that's a fun.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
Cool logo, Bengo. That's the cow right, Yeah, that's a
cool spot. I like that course. I feel like it's
just out on the farm and just awesome. Yeah, that's
a cool. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Spot.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
Well, I had the derby event at the Legacy Club,
and I have thought about it.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
I have thought about it every second since, uh since
the weekend.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
It's haunting me just because.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
You put your hat down a little.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
I mean I was paired with my guy, Salgatti club champion,
buddy of mine, guy who helps me out there.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
Couldn't have been happier.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
And we were standing on the fourteen te by It's
seven under at that point I had two net eagles
two and ten.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
That's the driving hole that Wes Patterson was hitting two.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
Fourteen right, yeah, yeah, And we finished up the day
at three under.

Speaker 4 (38:14):
What happened?

Speaker 3 (38:15):
What happened? And I'm part We got tar.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
You fleetwooded we parted seventeen and eighteen real so yeah,
so I mean, I listen, South, are we.

Speaker 4 (38:27):
Going to talk about fifteen and sixteen or we're not.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
Fourteen seen fifteen and sixteen?

Speaker 4 (38:31):
You know.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
And Sally wants to take all the blame. He's a two.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
All he has to do is part. But also I
can help, and I didn't. I didn't give any help.
We just we just fell apart.

Speaker 4 (38:40):
And it's funny.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
The team we're playing, we're playing with, they struggle a
little bit in the front and they were on fire
in the back. And after the round he's like, dude,
I was watching you guys, and it just felt like
I could, like on fifteen.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
It's an easy.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
Hole too, isn't it. That's one of the shorter.

Speaker 4 (38:57):
Rub it in hair rub it little dog.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
Like soft leg left, very hard green though huge, very
hard green, and the pin was back left. So I
hit my drive. It scoots a little bit to the right.
I have I have a look.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
I go over.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
It's sitting on a route. I'm like, oh man, and
and south. To his credit, it's like he's like, dude,
you don't take a huge divot. He's like, pretend it's
not even there.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
Just pick it.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
Well, I get a pitching edge, and dude, I pick
it to about fifteen feet walk. I'm walking up now
in fifteen like now. In his shot he was about
three or four feet behind me, and I'm putting for
ned eagle his putt. He hits it a little firm
and it gets up and goes So now I'm like, crap,
So you know what I do?

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Soft it softed putt.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
It comes back three feet past where I putted it
from wind up with a wind up with a four
putt and walk off the green.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
The worst thing ever.

Speaker 3 (39:48):
So I mean it's yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
And then day day two, Day two, I had nothing.
South played really well. We got to like three under.
I was I stunk. But shout out to Eric Spiller
and Jeff Doolong who won. They shot a sixty nine
sixty eight, so I mean they play. Yeah, and uh
my guy Ronnie Teeney and Joe Fatally who were the
Day one winners. But it was it was so fun.

(40:12):
I mean it was so challenging. You have to put
everything out right. You're you're grinding over six inch pots right,
like get the whole nine like it just and and
uh kudos to uh to to sal and and Ryan
Murphy who run the event too. Because a lot of emotions,
a lot of money on the line, a lot of
people bitching, like there's a lot to deal with and yeah,
and and the staff at Legacy Club always is incredible

(40:33):
and the.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
Way they do stuff. So it was a blast.

Speaker 1 (40:36):
You sent me that spreadsheet, man, that was a lot
of money, yeah, I mean a lot of.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
Yeah, Yeah, yeah, there was, there was, but a lot
of a lot of fun. Looking forward to playing again.
So now and the next week, I'm up in Lake George.
I'm gonna get a couple of round Greeny. Yeah, gonna
at Taekwonda Roga.

Speaker 3 (40:57):
Looking forward to that.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
But we move into the second round of the playoffs
here BMW Harry Caves Valley. Yeah, great spot, big ballparty,
the prope there.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
Yeah, I've actually played in the senior event with the
eventual winner, who was Gerard Rosatto, who was actually an
assistant at Caves Valley a long long time ago when
he was still in the golf business. But yeah, Caves Valley,
it's like a Mirrefield Village kind of feel. Tom Fazio

(41:35):
designed nineteen ninety one. It was renovated by his son
Logan in twenty twenty prior to the twenty twenty one BMW,
which was won by Patrick Cantley and that terrific playoff
against Bryce and Deshambo. I mean, you talk about just
epic golf that I've rewatched that multiple times since it happened.
Was just so great. But there was a par seventy

(41:57):
two back then, forty two yards. Now it's a par
seventy seven, six hundred and one yards, so they add
a little bit of length and chopped it down to
a par seventy, so you would think the scores are
gonna be a little bit not quite as great. I mean,
Patrick Cantley was twenty seven under par in four rounds

(42:19):
a couple of years ago. The greens are bent grass,
they averaged two hundred square feet. Fairways are bent grass
also and the roughest fescue rye and bluegrass, and they
got it at about three inches. There's seven water hazards
and in play on five of the holes, including that
little creek that meanders up the right side on the

(42:39):
final hole, which I believe Bryson hit one of his
balls into during during the playoff, they reversed the nine,
so that's typically the ninth hole for the members, but
it's gonna be the eighteenth hole for this hole or
for this tournament. And there's eighty six sand bunkers, only
two par fives, number four and sixteen. There's four par

(43:02):
threes three, six, thirteen, and seventeen, and both thirteen and
seventeen measure out at two hundred and forty yards plus.
So big big Boy golf on the back nine, especially
for the par threes, and there's two par fours that
measure out over five hundred yards, number two and number twelve.

(43:22):
There's a short par fours at four and eleven, and
behind me is number twelve. It's actually number three for
the members, but it's going to be number twelve for
the tournament. But yeah, big boy golf, it should be great.
You know, you hit it far, you're gonna have a
big advantage here.

Speaker 3 (43:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
I had a my counterpart in Washington, DC played it.
He said, I played caves this week that was set
up for a BMW insanely hard five point twenty one
par four.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
Stimp was at of twelve rough that required my all
and he said it was cool.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
They actually had him set up with their like their
names on the caddy bibs.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
It was just like, I don't know, they got out
there for something. I don't know if as a media.

Speaker 2 (44:08):
Event or what, but yeah, really cool. But that was
the course of course. UH sponsored by buy my Balls

Speaker 1 (44:28):
All right, sure you remember you remember that a couple
of years ago, right, yes, you guys, can't lay shot
sixty six sixty three.

Speaker 3 (44:34):
That's when.

Speaker 1 (44:39):
Out the tongue out and the shots and you had
those U C l A Powder blue pants on. The
fans were cheering more for Can't Lay in that event
than Bryson. Now think about the way things have flipped,
because if you played the singer today, everybody be cheering
for Bryceon because now Can't Lay is a bad guy.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
Yeah you know.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
Now he's like, you know, the play for my country. Yeah,
exactly right.

Speaker 2 (45:06):

Speaker 2 (46:30):
All right, So, according to our buddy Jeff Ulrich, of
the top twelve, no whoever has the winners here have
had a top twelve or better in the last four starts,
and of the top ten only three were worse than
T twelve in the FedEx. So this is obviously when

(46:51):
you get this close and you're whittling it down you are,
You're right there. You have Keegan Victor Holin, and we
talked about can't lay that one or twice. I actually
took Hovelin in the one and done who I had
left with, see if he still has a little magic
here at this place.

Speaker 3 (47:08):
But last oh boy.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
Steah, but obviously Scotty super short odds to twenty five,
followed by Rory who's gracing the field with his presence
at seven point fifty, Xander at eighteen hundred, and then
you got.

Speaker 3 (47:22):
Fleetwood of two thousand.

Speaker 2 (47:23):
Like if you think after last week Fleetwood's gonna win
this event, you are out of your mind. But I
am really curious to see the Jts, the can't Laze,
the Henleys, the Ben Griffins, the Colin more cow has
got her ups, all the guys that are in the
in the Ryder Cup conversation.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
That's where my eyes will be. But I like Cam
Young this week.

Speaker 2 (47:43):
I think it's a pretty fair number at twenty eight
hundred for him, and h I could see him, you know,
maybe that that that monkey's off his back and he's
gonna get another w that quick.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
How about that if he could get another.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
One that down down somewhat from three thousand. I think
he opened at three thousand under. Yeah, some people are
thinking the same way. I actually like him in a
top ten. My guy this week is Xanderschawfle because he's
forty third right now in the FedEx Cup. He needs
a solo twenty first or better to make east that

(48:17):
which is a place where he dominates Eastlake like that
golf course he has out shot the winners, like the
eventual FedEx Cup winners, because they they'd get the you know,
the couple of shots advantage. But he actually plays better
golf there than the guys who ends up with the
FedEx Cup. But to get there, he needs to be
twenty first or better. So he's got to have a

(48:38):
big week. He's due. You know, we know he got
off to the slow start. It's been his putter that's
really kind of held him back. So I'm going to
take him into one and done. I got Cam Young
in the top twenty or top ten, and the fiftieth
place person is JT. Posting just made it in. Yeah,
he needs a top twenty or no, he needs a

(49:00):
solo eleventh to make it to East Lake. I'm gonna
take him in a top twenty. I don't know that
he gets a solo eleventh, but I'm gonna I'm gonna
play like he's gonna play pretty hard and get into
the top twenty.

Speaker 3 (49:14):
I like that. Yeah, curious to see man can't lay that? Like,
what can he do?

Speaker 2 (49:19):
Can he get magic at a place he had he's
had success? Can he find it this late in the season.
You know he's been hanging around. He just hasn't been
the can'tle that we know. And I think the team
as I could use him in this event if he
can catch a little fire right now, because he drives.

Speaker 3 (49:35):
People crazy on the other team and you love to
see that.

Speaker 1 (49:37):
Yep, So no doubt about it. There's a lot of
steak here when you think about not just east Lake,
but the Ryder Cup implications for the American team because,
like we said last week, the European team is all
is better set yet? Yeah pretty much set? But yeah,
so you're taking Danielle'd be great.

Speaker 5 (49:54):
I'm actually uh looking at it right now because there's
like four deadlines and I'm like, I'm probably so far
out of it.

Speaker 1 (50:01):
I was like, Okay, what did you make your one
and done pick yet?

Speaker 3 (50:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (50:05):
Okay, okay, because when Harry said it, I just really
quick footed up.

Speaker 1 (50:10):
There's no way Powers makes one from Alaska.

Speaker 3 (50:12):
There's no shot, Yeah, no shot.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
But I'm the us AM is going on right now
at an Olympic Club, but I'm watching some of it
prior to the show. And Kevin lied On, not Brian
Lydon from the nineteen twelve Kevin lied On from Lulu
was actually in it. He qualified for it, survived the
five hole playoff, but did not make the field of
sixty four, so he didn't make the match play was

(50:38):
eliminated earlier this week. But congrats to him from making it.

Speaker 4 (50:42):
Yeah, very cool. Such a cool course too.

Speaker 5 (50:44):
So Brandon and pat Ross actually for the USGA four
ball and it's you know, first year played the Olympic
Club and I caddied for Brandon rounds on the Ocean course.
I'll tell you what though, that weather is absolutely bipolar.
The one day it was like seventy five and I
come out like wearing a golf shirt.

Speaker 4 (51:01):
The next day it was like forty. I went and
dropped like five hundred dollars Pro Shop to be able
to feel my legs.

Speaker 1 (51:07):
Those guys were all wearing slacks and heavy fleeces today.

Speaker 5 (51:11):
Especially on the ocean course, and if you're early in
the morning, you're out there, it's cold.

Speaker 4 (51:15):
Yeah, it's really really really cool course, really cool on
us like USM too, just seeing those names come up
and get to the quarterfinals. Excited to continue watching.

Speaker 3 (51:24):
That, no doubt great stuff.

Speaker 2 (51:27):
Thanks again to jerm for filling in for us Powers
to be back next week. I will be on hiatus
next week. You guys have to hold the fourth down
for me.

Speaker 4 (51:33):
We'll get to wear SPF.

Speaker 3 (51:35):
I'll do that, thank you.

Speaker 4 (51:37):
Maybe I'll do to buy my bass. I'll get crazy.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
We got some good guests lined up for the future here,
so looking forward to it.

Speaker 3 (51:44):
Thanks for listening, Thanks for watching. See you next week,
but listen, swing it and ding it.
