Freedom Head Coach Paulo Crimber is excited for this season. He tells us he has high expectations as his team gets ready to play three days at home inside the Amerant Bank Arena. Prior to the first match on Friday, August 8, FOX Nation will host a special kickoff concert featuring multi-award-winning country music artist Chris Janson at 6 p.m. ET outside Amerant Bank Arena.

the Florida News Network. Pretty exciting because the Florida Freedom
you know about them, the Professional bull Riders here in
South Florida. They have announced their annual PBR Camping World
Team Series homestand we call it PBR Freedom Days is
returning to Amiran Bank Arena this weekend. Uh. And this

is the league's fourth season and it's gonna be a
lot of fun. And we have the Florida Freedom head
coach Paulo Krimber joining us. Thank you for coming on
with me.

Oh, thank you for having me. Very excited to be
part of this.

Let's start for folks that have never you know, I
know it comes on TV, but but you know, let's
say folks aren't aren't so familiar with with PBR Professional
bull Riders. Kind of give me just a short synopsis
of what they can expect to see if they come
to to see a Florida Freedom game.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Uh, they expect to see the best bull riders in
the world on the best bulls in the world, matching
up had had and you know, like we play three
different teams through the weekend. The first guy we battle
it's gonna be Arizona Reage Riders.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
It's just gonna be a phenomenal show, a family show
that they.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Can bring their kids and have some fun.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
They're probably gonna be a roller coaster of uh uh
you know feelings. They're gonna be scared one point, to
be excited.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
To be happy. It's gonna be amazing.

Uh.

Last year was a great time.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
We had a great time there, and I'm expecting to
uh to be even better this year.

All right, So, uh we talked about PBR Freedom Days.
Now this is uh your home stadium or home what
we call it home field?
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Uh home home stadium.

KI is the Amerate Bank Arena. But this is I
guess this is a special What makes this this homestand special?
Speaker 3 (02:00):
I think to me and the whole team, it's just
the time of the year that we have to go
right at home, right for the for the for the neighbors,
for the people that share, you know, share for us
all year and and just help us out and kind
of follow us and keep up with us through the
season and be watching the games.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
And this is the moment.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
That we have to be at home writing for them
and and get to spend time with the fans and
get to see them I die and just to talk
and and and have some good time, you know, just
uh just.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Have a good time with.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Have a good time with with the events and stuff.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
And it's just amazing. It's something that.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
We have to, uh just to pay back what they
do for us all year.

So you guys finished uh number three in the league,
sixteen and twelve, made it to the championships Sunday, the
first year here in in Florida. Uh, you know how
how's the record looking so far? And and and you
know what do you what do you think? Obviously you're
the head coach, You're not going to talk negative about

the team, but what do you you know what what
is the realist uh, realistic expectations for this season?
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Uh, we're we're looking forward to win all three games
so far. Last game that we have was in Duluth, Georgia.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
We were the.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
First time ever to ride five bulls five on five.
We got a five bulls and rode all five of them.
That was amazing. That was a great, great show, a
great momentum. Moment momentum to come in and just go
to our home event and and.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Do what we do best, which is ride bulls and
writing them and just put a.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Great show and and stand everybody home with with the
second place.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Now, your son John, I understand, Uh is uh lead
your roster. Tell me about him and his play and
you know what makes him what makes him so good?
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (04:14):
John is just a kid that came up, he grew
up and you know, he was a baby three years
old riding sheeps and and four years old actually went
to Las Vegas for a real competition and.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Sheep riding and h he's always that's all he knows.
He did some.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Football in high school, and he played a little basketball
for fun, and he's played golf. But he's just a
phenomenal bull rider. He's uh, you know a lot of
people comparing him to a little bit of a blonde
James and some of the superstars that I have in
different sports on bull riding, you know. And and he's
being his coach my whole life, his whole life. He's
(04:53):
nineteen years old now. He was our first draft pick.
He's the he's our closer, he's the last rider. Uh,
because sometimes he goes in with he needs we need
a walk, you know, like he's right we'll define the
game to win or lose. And and he's young, but
he's uh the best, the best writer for that kind
(05:15):
of pressure.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
The prey.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
He feeds off pressure, you know, more pressure, better he gets.
And that's that's who he is. And and he is
just a great human being, great person great personality. He's
great with fans and kids. Kids loved him and it's
gonna be He's a really special human being.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Wow, Lebron James, the Lebron James of PBR.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
That's pretty that's not my saying.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Okay that a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Wow, that must be really good.

Now he is.

He is the youngest, the youngest, he's eighteen years old,
the youngest in the history.

Boy riding across the million dollar mark in there, you go. Wow.

So I just want to just for the for the
folks listening, big deal this weekend Friday, Saturday Sunday games.
For the Friday match, Fox and Nation is going to
be hosting a special kickoff concert with a multi award
winning country music artist, Chris Jansen. That's going to be

this instead of just watching it on your on your screen.
