Talked with Elayna Toby Singer, People's Choice Award Winner, International Kinetic Art Exhibit and Symposium and Elizabeth Dashiell, Palm Beach PR about the upcoming symposium. It's going to be February 2-3 in Boynton Beach, with VIP event Friday night February 1st. They will have outdoor and indoor exhibits and weekend Kinetic Art experiences. There are self-guided tours with docents available along the route, and an Otocast App where artists talk about their kinetic artwork. ASL Interpreted tours begin at 2 pm both days at the Exhibition Test. Listeners can sign up to participate in Elayna's "Moving Toward Balance" make and take art experience. She will be helping participants set their intentions to help protect native trees, and help restore balance to our environment and find balance in their lives, by teaching them to create a "balanced" mobile made up of Florida Mahogany seed pods. They'll be able to take their mobile home to enjoy throughout the year. Listeners can sign up for the free class at MovingTowardBalance.eventbrite.com and get more info at www.intlkineticartevent.org

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
